Thanks for partecipating in this beta-testing for the mechanics of this kind of quest!

I hope you enjoyed this (rather) short intro/test to hopefully what will become a bigger serie!

Let me know your thoughts on how i could improve things around, i'd really appreciate that.

Or if you have any questions i can answer directly.
>>
>>423067
Yay, treasure!

Anyway, is there any chance of possibly having Ian and Miss Succubus return as side characters?
>>
>>423067

The combat system was fine but the combat can go much faster if Defense was passive value instead.
>>
On another note, there are more adventures to come! Such as "The wrath of the Negligible Necromancer", " The wicked plans of Lord Lass'pah'dah", "The mushroom menace", etc.
If you have any preference for settings or themes, let me know.

>>423081
Definitively! One of my friends actually suggested to do a quest focusing on the succubus if possible, so there is also that possibility floating around.

>>423098
That is a really good point! Putting a fixed value will allow to avoid having to wait too much between rolling for defense and then wait the post asking to roll for your attack.
>>
>>423149

Another possibly idea is that when you go full defense instead for normal attack, you roll 1d6 additonal defense.

A curious question, are you planning to make video game with your characters?
>>
>>423067
>>423149

This quest was really amazing! Simple and to the point, I really liked it. The graphics and humor are pretty neat! The mechanics were great, maybe some fine tuning to make the combat a bit faster. Also, maybe expand the amount of mechanics content by +25%. Nothing overly complicated, but something like adding an extra combat feature or two, like buff/debuff and status effects, bleed and poison for example.

If you're thinking of adding a small story, that would be great as well.

I'm really looking forward to the next adventure. Do you have any sort of social platform like tumblr/twitter where we can follow news and announcements for the next quest?

Also, please bring back the sexy demon lady as our companion

I do not have a social platform that i use. I have a thread over at tgchan questdis that i use from time to time to get ideas and fix things in my other quests but i don't really use anything else. I probably should!

>>423575

>>
>>423786

Fore sure man, you can set up a Twitter account pretty easy. It's the best way to communicate with your fans when it comes to news, info and scheduling. It's great because you can give your audience a rough estimate of when you plan to do stuff, especially for people that follow multiple quests, this is very useful.

As a QM, I do it all the time and people really appreciate when you inform them of events

>Already planning to have succubus coming back in a way or another as it seems people have liked her (and Ian)
Nice, I'm looking forward to it, Ian was pretty funny and the succubus was a cutie!
>>
>>423786
Defense as a passive is going to make combat much more smooth. You can also try to have players roll one die for each unit in the initiative tracker, so that you can draw the player turn and opponents at the same time.
>>
>>423810
>people really appreciate when you inform them of events
This. Having a set time for when to expect an update is wonderful. It's also handy to know if something came up and that time needs to be changed.

Man, if you made a tumblr and twitter, I'd follow both in an instant.

Tumblr would be cool to post interesting stuff, also people can send you asks and messages. Twitter for news and scheduling.

I'd say go for it. Like you said, you could post all kinds of fun stuff like rules and sprites and whatnot.
>>
