RECAP

The Hasglow wall has pretty much fallen in multiple points but work is being done to widen the gaps while in the meantime, good espionage is being done in Karovia and Valornia diplomats are having a 'nice' meeting with some Crokalians in their main port, Kralj Točka.

political: during those 2 turns, continue to search fro groudon

The search for Groudon finally continues. It's estimated that in at least 45 days, they may find him.

military: start experimenting with attaching steam engines to our "gliders" (early airplanes)

The military eggheads get the bright idea of slapping steam engines onto gliders. This can only end well.

---
"Huu~" Marta Suchý squeaked. "We come from a distant land and are still getting acquainted with Rulona. We're willing to trade, resources, information, technology, and possibly diplomatic ties. We'd also like to know about the situation with your neighboring countries."

"Hmph. I'd like to believe you mean no harm but a nation such as yours has no business in this land. Only nations that wish to conquer and rape lands would goes the distance you have traveled."

The other Sneasel, Žofie Skalicky, shook her head. "You may think what you wish but our nations has little reason to fight. We have plenty of resources already- what could your nation have that we could possibly want?"

"You don't know!?" the Timburr exclaimed.

"Know what? You said yourself- we come from a far off land. How should me and my colleague know of anything in this land?"

"Ignorance- pure ignorance. We have some of the finest silk, cotton and linens in the land. Other kings would do much to have it. Along with this is our ship-building- we pride ourselves on our corvettes and frigates."

"Interesting." Žofie said to herself.

---

The subversion of the gangs in Czeladź has weakened them enough that the S.G could easily force their will onto them. With them under the control of the S.G, Lord Klimek is now an easy target. You may either force him to run off, kill him, rouse the people against him or try to find some info to blackmail him with.
>>
>>562958
-let's rouse the people against him but have his assassination during the chaos as backup
-Hmph, Valornians do not wish to "conquer and rape" lands. We sincerely wish to foster alliances and increase prosperity. We have many resources and would be willing to trade ship designs. We have also heard that Crokal is in an alliance with Sylveria. We would like to know the details of this.
>>
you never replied about the "strange vehicle" or the sniper scope
>>
also, never asked, in the peninsula, are there any neutral nations?
>>
>>563670
Both have been done already. The "strange vehicle" is the locomotive which has been paired down to smaller sizes considering the plans found are too large and complex for Valornia to make but the basic concept is there.

Sniper scopes can be added onto a rifle and it will become a modified version.

>>563678
Mont-Ferri is technically neutral. They've had some turmoil recently and have had a change in government- from republic to kingdom.
>>
>>563750
what about Illira and Valchia?
do we know the reason why Mont-Ferri changed governments?
>>
>>563773
Illira and Valchia are allied along with Dalkova to make up the Dalcian Alliance. A sort of meta-Romania. Minus the gypsies of course.

Mont-Ferri has been plagued by corruption with the last few leaders they had. The people were fed up and an admiral pulled a coup and is now the king. Of course, there are people who want a republic so there is unrest.

>>563610
>let's rouse the people against him but have his assassination during the chaos as backup

The S.G choose to sow civil chaos against Lord Klimek and his fellows by outing his dealings and corrupt practices. The effects were immediate as the three northern provinces closest to Valornia have had mass protests and riots, aimed mostly at what they now perceive as a corrupt government of Karovia and wish to secede and either form their own state or be part of Valornia.

Lord Klimek himself abdicated his position and ran for the capital at the sign of death threats and his estate has been burned down. He's still a threat as he does still have political clout but for now, he isn't a problem.

How will you proceed? Either way, Karovia is on the way to a civil war as their aggressive campaign in the Nuzleaf lands grinds to a halt.

---
"Hmph" Žofie snorted. "Valornians do not wish to 'conquer and rape' lands. We sincerely wish to foster alliances and increase prosperity. We have many resources and would be willing to trade ship designs. We have also heard that Crokal is in an alliance with Sylveria. We would like to know the details of this."

"I'm not inclined to believe you." the Timburr said. "And while I don't trust a Dark type with a stick, you represent a country that defies all logic."

"What logic do we defy? Because we have a merit based society? Does it shock you that Poison types can lead a successful nation?" Žofie boasted. "Because it exists and Valornia is strong. We are not sitting around letting others nip at our tails- we bite back.

"Watch your tongue darkie, your kind is distrusted for a reason- dealers of death, destruction, chaos and mischief. You're all the same."

"Maybe the ones that live nomadically in Rulona but rest assured- those in the Haven Isles are as civilized as you are- the last thing on our minds is chaos."

Marta stepped in between the two, her eyes downcast from her shy attitude.

"Can we please stop arguing. We came for peace not to fight. If you do not wish to talk to use, then send us to your king for a change." she told the Timburr.

He thought of her words for a moment and nodded.

"That's a fair proposal. If you try anything, me and my men will be there to cut your heads off and one wrong move and our king will see that Valornia has a rough time."

"R-right." Marta turned to Žofie. "T-that's fair right." she said fearfully. Žofie knew Marta was new to diplomatic proceedings and this was a horrible first experience.

"No... but it's better than being run out to sea by gunfire. Thanks for stepping in."

do we know of any rebels? leak that Klimik is headed towards the capital to them, the people, and criminals.
-what's with ragali then?
>>
[2/2]

>>563962
Ragali is with Aljeri and I might as well say now that Kova is with Juroda. The alliances in one neat form:

Slveria and Crokal

Aljeri and Ragali

Kova and Juroda

Illira, Valchia and Dalkova

Mont-Ferri

---
>do we know of any rebels? leak that Klimik is headed towards the capital to them, the people, and criminals.

The capital is only a week away but a leak of his escape could be beneficial. The effects are unknown and Karovia might find out.
If you are certain you wish to do this, roll 1d20.

A spy network has been set-up in Feran. The Secret Guard may now be able to cause unrest, spy, corrupt and steal from the Feranians.

The nation of Kova's capital, Liccino was a sleepy city on the coast and while a small flute with a foreign flag is not uncommon, there was some surprise when it was found to be the Valornian flag.

The first person on the dock was naturally Mihael Tomčič, the same Chespin the envoy met before but this time, he was meeting actual diplomats from Valornia instead of a rag-tag team of explorers and researchers.

"Dobrodošli! I hope you are all doing well." he greeted the diplomats, a pair of Sneasel along with a Skorupi and a Yanma.

"Ahoj. We are all doing well." the Skorupi said. "My name is Vladimír Procházka but please call me Vladi. We wish to discuss much with you."

"I bet you do. What do wish to talk about first?"

espionage: spy on feran, learn of profitable trade deals, new inventions, events, and news
-We would like to learn about your country. A tour would be nice. We can discuss things such as trade, diplomatic relations, and the current happenings in this peninsula during it.
>>
>>564050
[16]

With a calculated leak on where Klimek is going and when, rebels were able to capture him and summarily imprison him discreetly. The official word from Karovia is that he died on a hunting trip but this is obviously false as the only reason the king would say this is to save face and keep the kingdom strong in the face of an adversary that will crush them when they're weak.

If only they knew.

Within a few days, news spread between the towns in the north and the idea of secession grew as rumor of higher taxes, conscription and strict law enforcement spread. Soon, sentiment in the three northern counties grew to a flashpoint- all it takes is one more stroke to fuel civil discourse in Karovia and split the nation.

---

"We would like to learn about your country. A tour would be nice. We can discuss things such as trade, diplomatic relations, and the current happenings in this peninsula during it."

"That we can. Come, follow me." Mihael said, gesturing the Vladimir and the other diplomats to follow. "You came at a good time. The weather is beautiful and Liccino is absolutely stunning during sunrise and sunset. And the harvests have been plenty this year so fresh food isn't hard to come by right now."

"Sounds wonderful. I assume a land of Grass-types would specialize in crops and I presume I'm right about this?" Vladimir said.

Mihael nodded. "We pride ourselves with our harvest of corn, wheat and grapes but these pale to our biggest crop."

He walks over to a close by fruit stand and picks up an apple.

"Our apples our the finest in all of Rulona. Strife may be constant in this peninsula but we still find the time to grow apples. Try this one." he hands it over to Vladimir and pays the stall-keeper. "It's my personal favorite, Coastal Red."

Vladimir takes a bit and was amazed.

"Páni! This tastes incredible."

Mihael smiled. "Of course- I wouldn't recommend it without knowing so. I can bet a populous country such as yours would need to import food soon."

"Well yes and no. We grow enough for ourselves but with all the immigration, we may soon need to start importing as you said."

The group came upon a large civic square which was filled with stalls of all kinds selling all sorts of things, from food to clothes.

"Well, it won't be hard to trade food to your land- either for a sum or for equivalent exchange." Mihael stops to think for a second.

"Valornia has a strong navy, doesn't it?"

"Yes... why?"

"Do have shipyards?"

"Plenty- the Chrabrost's Yards are the gem of shipbuilding in our land."

"Then I think I have an idea on what can be traded."

Yeah, things have changed- especially the maps. I think showing the world map would help, but a map of Haven Isles would suffice enough. I should post it more often.

It's still the same, just that you're now restricted to using slots for actions but instead of things being 30 turns or so, it's 3. Highest I may ever go is 10-11.

Reminds me that we have to finish that war.

"You have an idea that involves our shipyards?" Vladimir asked.

Mihael turned around and smirked.

"Yes. Our navy has been..." Mihael looked away. "...devastated, recently. We've been trying to build more ships but Liccino and Soljak are our only ports with shipyards and they aren't large enough. I'm betting Valornia has plenty of room to spare."

Vladimir stopped and looked to his co-horts. The Sneasel nodded while the Yanma flew close to Vladimir.

"Sir, I think I should take over- I have more knowledge on ships and ports than your three."

"Go ahead Zlata. You may speak to him." Vladimir told her. She nodded and flew in front of Mihael.

"My name is Zlata Kudrna and I represent Valornia in all matters involving trade. Our shipyards are large but are mostly working with private companies for now because our nation doesn't need ships. If you wish for us to provide some, the cost will be bigger than just food. Materials, labor, transporting and arming the ships would all be factored in."

"Well, we don't need many. 10 light ships will do. Would that be alright?"

---
>espionage: work with the rebels to spread information. The government clearly does not care about the north and riots+the ensuing crackdown will be terrible. But, they can at least get protection and safety by seceding to Valornia.

The Secret Guard see a chance and use the rumors to spread the ides of dissent amongst the people. It will take a month to see what could happen.

Taking a steam engine and putting it on an old fishing trawler may have seemed idiotic to many but Bára Lanik was no simple Abra- she wanted to see if it were possible to defeat the wind and sail no matter the direction. And she succeeded with zeitgeist- wowing observers and creating buzz throughout the land. It will only a matter of time until everyone wanted a steam ship for travel but for now, the cost exceeds the worth- unless you're a government with cash to burn.

Available for Building: Steam Ferry
Research now available: Light Steam Cruisers

The army has spent time crafting an explosive that goes through the air better than a cannonball or HE shot. The solution was to shape the charge in the forme of a large bullet and add some TNT in the sides to create a devastating effect on whatever it hit. Primitive but effect.

Available for use: Explosive Shell

The search for Groudon has finally come to an end. The team sent for him found him in a cave between Aljeri and Slveria.

The report made by the team states that meeting him was unlike Kyogre- while she was calm, rational and willing to talk, Groudon was bit... brash.

He wanted to fight the team off and injured a couple of the team but they preserved by which that means they prayed to Azelf, who appeared and slapped Groudon in the face and told him to knock it off and to stop harming people who find him.

He apologized and as compensation- under the watchful eye of the Holy Being of Willpower, gave the team the knowledge of how to grow crops using Ground-types and Grass-types.

Using a combination of two abilities that he uncovered knowledge of- Rototiller and Grassy Terrain as he called it- one can make the soil in any land easy to grow on, just use Grassy Terrain first before using Rototiller to make the land more fertile.

He recommended that there is a team of Grass-types to pull off the ability as it's area of effect expands exponentially when more use it. On the other hand, Rototiller should be used by 1 or 2 trained professionals instead, so as to not overdo it and over fertilize the ground.

Available to do - Terrain Fertilization, use this to make a provinces land more fertile. Can only be used once year (every 25 rounds)

A bit incomplete but the important stuff is there. I'll be updating it bit by bit- it's hard to pinpoint what's been done since the system I use now isn't what was used all along. It would've been great if I had since the start but what can I do.

---
-The trade can be worked out with whatever trade goods they have (let's send them sub-par ships)

"Let me discuss this with my peers. I may represent trade but I'm not going to spring on something without discussion."

"Sure, take your time." Mihael said. He gestured towards a building across the square with large windows and beautiful architecture.

"I'll be waiting in the Palača Liccino- you may discuss within one of the private rooms." he advised.

Leading them in, the group took in the interior's well made floor and fine furniture before being shown a well furnished room- complete with bookcases, a fireplace and plush armchairs to sit in.

Zlata took a seat across from Vladimir while the two Sneasel, a pair of brothers named Radoš and Krištof, decided to take seats by the doors into the room, mostly to listen for eavesdroppers.

"Vladimir, while normally, I would say it is okay to just sell our old ships like we did with our allies, these people are not our allies."

Vladimir thought for a moment.

"While I would agree, food is important for growth. Our land is now populated by up to 50 million monsters of different sizes, types and most of all, different eating habits. We need to get as much food as possible."

"True but other sources are available."

"Yes but Kova is clearly in need of help more than we need them. We can negotiate terms to our liking and they have but no choice but to listen and nod."

Suddenly Radoš slapped the door next to him, sending whoever was listening onto the ground in pain. The two looked over and Radoš just shrugged in response.

Vladimir looked back at Zlata and continued.

"Best of all, we aren't obligated to send just 10 ships."

He smirked darkly.

"We can send 10 ships, the quality may be questionable."

Zlata finally got what he meant and smiled.

"I see. I'll talk to Mihael then. Krištof" the Sneasel looked up from his seat. "come with me."

"Určitě, má paní." he said, following her out.

The experiment that Bára had done was a rousing success and now she was bankrolled by Darbury Shipbuilders. They want to beat Chrabrost Shipyard by getting into a field and sticking to it and
they see steam powered ships as the future and are banking all they have on it.

With her expertise on the steam engine and a team of excellent shipbuilders, a small cruiser will be slated to launch in around 4 months.

Zlata and Krištof joined Mihael at a dinner table to discuss trade terms.

"So you are willing to build us 10 ships for foodstuffs and money. Armed?"

"Yes, we will arm the ship for you. We will have them ordered up for you and commissioned as fast as we can build them. You'll have your navy back and we'll have our food."

"Excellent. How much will those ships cost once you deduct the amount the food is worth- I estimated 45,000 Krona which converts to 12,000 Koruna. I am correct?"

Will you be honest, shortsell Valornia or be greedy?

Arthunbrook Recovering!

With the unholy demons contained to Hasglow, the Kingdom of Arthunbrook has found time to recover and rebuild its cities, towns and especially their military thanks to our government selling it's outdated equipment at a lower price.
The new rifled muskets they have obtained will be a boon compared to what they purportedly had before.

Poison, Ghost and Darks Expelled from Scanio-Taska!

Religious fervor may have reached it's worst point in the Dual Kingdom of Scanio-Taska, where the reigning archbishop of Arceusism has finally managed to convince the regent queen to expel the heatens.
The regent queen, Queen Audra Dimants, has been standing in for her husband King Jonas Dimants who is currently engaged in a battle with illness for the last 4 months. It seems the archbishop took advantage of this fact.
It has been purported that the king has had some respect for Ghost types in the field of battle and has had Dark types as generals before, stating that they were the best men and women who ever served him,
always focusing on winning at all costs.

Dam It Up!

A dam is being planned out in southern Becari to control the flow of the River Kaths, which will in turn stop the flooding during the growing season. Sadly, the side effect of this is that a small group of villages must be moved
to accommodate the new height of the river behind the dam after it is built. It is slated to be finished by the end of this year.
