Faction: Duchy of Gobopolis
Originally forming as a mining union of freed ogre slaves the Duchy of Gobopolis is a true rags to riches story. Built by goblins for goblins the duchy stands as a symbol of the Kingdoms of Roggars continued friendship towards all Gobbo-kind. After the Second Horde War and the fall of Patrias the Gobbos have dedicated themselves to the cultivation of the land and furthering of the faith.

Assets: Gobopolis, Lueceric, Duchy of Gobopolis, Fertile Farming Communities, Deep Gold Mine, Goblin Skirmishers, Three Sets of Fire Dragon Armor and Weapons, Temple of Mor, Knights of Mor

Current Leader:
Duke Bonebiter Swift-Hands
21 Years old
Warrior/Faith

Gobopolis has changed many times over the years, that which was started on the wreckage of a Ogre slave camp has evolved into a sprawling metropolis and capital of the Duchy of Gobopolis. A bastion against forces of chaos and destruction the Swift-Hands family has lead the duchy with honour and courage standing against those who would betray the faith and the kingdom. After the Second Horde War and the Rebellion of the Oathsworn which had heavy losses with their allies the demons sacrificing themselves to stall the horde and the courageous Knight of Mor upholding the faith to the last man. In recent the Duchy has withdrawn from courtly life and dedicated themselves to expansion of the Duchy and the construction of a great Temple of Mor to honour all lost in the war.

The Temple of Mor is Gobopolis dominates the sky line of the sprawling city. Financed and designed by Duke Duke Swift-Hands it was envisioned as a tribute to the demons of Nayte, the Knights of Mor and every other soul who fell in the Second Horde War. As one approaches the temple they are greeted by two massive gold statues which guard the door, on the right is a proud Knight of Mor standing tall Sword in hand and on the left a great demon of Nayte stands staff in one hand and book in the other. As you enter you open on a hall of which a great statue of Mor dominates the room judging all who enter.

The Goblins Priests of Mor live in ernest attempt to emulate the Knight of Mor and spread the faith and honor that they once carried themselves with. With this great temple Gobopolis truly stands as a bastion of the faith.

I.
To the Roggar Ruling Council

I would like to but forward a proposition that is surely to have great ramifications among the kingdom and the whole pantheon worshiping world. We have suffered a great defeat at the hands of the Norsemen along with our ally Patrais for one simple reason, the lack of organization. When attacked we were unable to truly coordinate well with Patrais to defend our brothers as we lacked the means to properly oversee the vast logistics it takes to run both kingdoms, including being able to properly assign troops to the needed fronts in the expansive war that has come to pass. For this I suggest we offer to the Patrains the creation of a new state, The Pantheonic Union, a state created by marrying together the administration of both great kingdoms allowing for easier defense and organization of the faith.

This would be no easy undertaking as our kingdom is an elective monarchy and theirs a patrilineal monarch, this should lead us to creating a “King’s Council” for all monarchs to discuss the ruling of the Union with also the ability to add later Pantheon worshiping kingdoms should they wish to join. On this thought we should encourage the new Patrain King to take a bride of Roggarian stock to strengthen the ties between us.

With time to rbuild united we can surely make Roggar and Patrias great again

Faction: Dragonfist Clan
The Dragonfist clan (originally the Mutt Clan) Used to be a band of goblins and humans raised on the the streets that turned into farmers thanks to Mutt Dragonfist. The Mutt an urchin turned soldier managed to kill a dragon with one punch allowing his clan and his dynasty to be respected among the Roggarians. The Dragonfist Family isn't the richest nor the most powerful but they still are respected after all this years due the continuous effort of many members of the Dragonfist family and because of all the food they produce thanks to their priestly hunters and farmers. Muttville, the Fortress island is still an essential river port of Roggar and all the temples that exist around the Feudal lands of the Dragonfists make their land a place that all adherents to the pantheon need to visit.

Assets: Dragonfist millitia, Dragonfist soldiers, horses, human, halfling and goblin farmers, Muttville and it's fortress, Temple of Divata, Smokyton and the surrounding farms,Temple of Zemel, Duchy of the Fork, Altodominio , Order of the Dragon, Priestly hunters and farmers.

In ages past men lived simpler lives - they would hunt, farm, fight and always respect the might of the Old Gods. Shamans led the clans with their elemental magic - so it was for many generations, before history was ever written down. The great hero Rog united a dozen human clans into a tribe that would form the foundation of our future Kingdom. One day Rog mysteriously vanished - then came the Great Storm - when it passed, the shamans could no longer feel the presence of the Gods and had lost the source of their magic.
Our civilization would have to progress on its own and so for generations we worked the lands, expanded in numbers and territory. We adopted goblin miners, fought dragons and welcomed a demonic warband. Adventures were had, technology progressed as we explored more and more of the world, largely adopting the faith of the New Gods of the Pantheon.
The Second Horde War was a terrible conflict, mirrored by a civil war within our Kingdom - in its process the mighty Kingdom of Paitras fell and our own Kingdom was greatly damaged, with the city of Nayte and its surroundings being anhilated, ending the lives of all our denizen demons.
After the Second Horde War the Norsemen were united into an Empire and we've been fighting them ever since. We've had both victories and losses, with the Ice Dragons being a mighty asset to the norsemen.
We've expanded eastwards into two former provinces of Paitras, but in the most recent years that Kingdom has been reborn under the ruler of Ezgielath, Verigal.

Most recently, we fought in a number of bloody campaigns that are now being called "The Barbarian Crusades" - we conquered the Ogre Kingdom to the southwest, established peace and a neutral zone with the centaurs in the southern steppes. We fought the Barbarian King who invaded Southern Paitras, sacked a number of cities and returned to his home territories and together with Paitras we fought a number of battles against the Norse Empire, who ultimately came out as the victor, seizing territory and demanding regular tribute from both of our states.

We lost over 50 000 men in these wars, the spirit of our people is diminished and our economy is in poor shape after several poor harvests, exhaustive campaigns and now the tributes we pay.

Here's the new administrative map, correct me if i'm wrong on anything.

Now, Food production seems to be your priority.

The war exhausted stockpiles and took a lot of men away from the harvests, which were also quite poor, largely due to the colder climate in recent years.

We've had to increasingly rely on imports from the Halfling Kingdom(said imports are now also not taxed, as was agreed earlier, which is good for our current situation in which we need them very much).

We've recently converted to using the manoral agricultural system and even then, it isn't being implemented in every part of our Kingdom - it's been proven to be more efficient than the older system, of course.

Now, pick up to two things to focus on in order to improve our food situation.

A.Clear more forests, drain swamps, claim more lands for agriculture
B.Build up our fishing fleets
C.Subsidise agricultural development - there's plenty of people in the towns and cities who are unemployed or not doing much, get these peasants back to the fields
D.Seek the magic of the Gods to help boost our production
E.Try to develop new agricultural methods and tools(will require me to roll)

We'll start building a larger fishing fleet and paying peasants to go back to the fields, where they belong(slavery in Roggar is outlawed, as is indentured servitude, so we can't force them).

We're not doing well on either.

It's now the year 320.

The Roggarian Reform.

I)Introduction

In recent History it became increasingly obvious that there was a need for admnistrative change in Roggar, the addition of seats in the council after the war shows us all that in Truth the reasons we lost the war wasn't our inability to Fight but our inability to govern.
In this Regard it therefore came Obvious that a series of Reform must be made to ensure victory and the integrity of Roggar.

II)Concerning the Pantheon

Whilst most of Roggar follow the Pantheon it became increasingly evident that we are lacking Piousness, especially in the lastest campaign in the south where Stoman had forsaken us and our cause.
The Gods are not pleased with Roggar it's people are seen as Blasphemous in their eyes likely, but there is always hope for redemption.
II. 1)Redemption

To Return the glory of the God on this Land we must Build impressive temple, but most might say such a goal is costly and in such an Era it cannot be done.
And i say to the blasphemers and skeptics that such a thing can be done only by the work of the fervent followers even thoses who have wronged us.
And i declare therefore that any Prisoner will have his sentence cut in half if he spend his sentence building a Temple to the Glory of the Pantheon under the newly created Order of Juras's Mercy
II. 2)Self-Improvement

It has been obvious that while the Order of the Pantheon have been extremely efficient at prozetilizing to the Glory of our Gods, they lack other purposes, as was previously pointed out, the Church is weak and the people Blasphemous.
We therefore need to Give the Church the power to bring Death to our Enemies and Justice to Our People.

III)Concerning Paitras

Our service to Paitras Through the ages have always been great, As a Kulargi myself i know the Blood my people have shed for this Golrious land and i've seen my father and brother die for it.
But Blood must not be shed in Vain this is why i demand's Paitras vassalization if it is to be Protected.

IV)Concerning the Halflings

It has become Increasingly Obvious that liberating these land from their scourge in the early era was not only wise and kind but also the will of The Gods themselves.
I believe that The halfling lands should also be graced by the same Reforms concerning the Pantheon and Welcome our Pontiff as if they would have welcomed the Pontiff of the Ancient Paitracian Empire.
Our Relationship with this Land have been more than good and i believ we should continue to cooperate.

V)Concerning the Potential Portal

It is obvious that the fact that a portal is near our Lands is a scary thought and that we therefore must Find and ensure that it stay disabled and that we are incase of great disaster even open it to lay waste to our enemies if it come to such horrible situation.

Part 1 btw
>>
>>579921
VI)Concerning The lack of administration outside of the vassals.

It has become increasingly obvious that our Economy is out of our control unlike that of the lizard.
Therefore to boost trade I propose a few changes.

VI. 1)Guilds

To organize our economy the need of extra-national organization is needed as well as intra-national ones.
Therefore I wish that the Guild be regulated but also paid to ensure proper Records of our economy being sent.
We lack transparency and require to know our economy if we wish to improve it.
VI. 2)Connection Inbetween the Roggarian Kingdom and the Guilds

The fund are not to be given to the Guilds directly however but a Council of the Guild is to be created to vote on how the fund that the crown allocate will be used.
Religious order will be considered part of the Guilds

And it's still open for some change
>>

Halfings should be vassals

Royal Investor ( G seat)

Dragon Explorer ( F seat)

The master of Laws ( E seat)

Roggar's Sword (designated duelist)
>>
We'll improve the bureaucracy of our Kingdom, but we must decide what three positions to add to the council now.
Current Council

Royal Diplomat - Chief Foreign Negotiator
Dragon Commander - Leader of the Royal Army
Royal Steward - Oversees the general economic development of the nation
Pontiff of Dragonstomb - Head of the Pantheonic Church of Roggar
Spymaster - In charge of espionage
Royal Admiral - Leader of the Royal Fleet
King's Guard - Leader of the King's guards
Eye of the King - semi-official position, an investigator appointed by the King

All names are a suggestion and are subject to change.

A.Royal Architect - oversees construction projects
B.Master of Arts - oversees cultural development
C.Royal Magician - oversees matters concerning magic
D.Mayor of Dragonstomb - as the capital is a special zone, this position could be granted to a faction leader
E.Guard Commander - the Guards are those enforcers of the law that keep our cities safe. Town Watch also included.
F.Overseer of Agriculture(Royal Farmer doesn't sound too noble) - could be just about agriculture or it could also include other food production kinds
G.Master of Laws
H.Royal/Dragon explorer
I.Royal Investor/Arch-researcher?
J.First Sword of Roggar-designated duelist
H.Other

Also, suggest names for said positions if you have an idea.

We've worked on various mundane things, improving the quality of our metals, developing basic mechanical creations such as pumps, winches, better waterwheels. An interesting development has been noted in the area of wheelmaking - with an increase in trade traffic across land, wheelmakers have been making better wheels for carts. A particulary interesting invention, straight out of Firsthold, is the wheelbarrow!

This is the results of years of investigation into the Godrics' relationship of the Norse. That roll earlier from me and Aristo were us trying to investigate the Godric's Isle through stealth. We were caught and locked up, namely David Bowyer and Aodh's son. After Inky sent us a letter, Aristo and I told the king and the Pontiff, while the King informed Maro, and we proceeded to get in touch with Inky for a meeting on neutral ground.

The investigation culminated in this information coming to light, specifically the dragon priest shit that the Godrics hid from the public.

>He fakes his death for this purpose and his heir says he died in a naval accident
Referring to Reinhard
Trying to learn about dragons
>Reinhard spends years in Aaberaag, laying low, learning the Norse customs and way of life
>The norsemen worship the Ice Dragons and to get access to more information, Reinhard first starts helping out at the local Dragon Temple and after years of that decides that in order to discover more, he must himself become a Dragon Priest
>As a man in his late 40s or so by the time, he fails his first magical practice exam, but some time later tries again
>He succeeds and the only thing left is the final trial, a meeting with a dragon - that is the last thing that Reinhard Godric reported in his letters.

That roll of a 77 was to investigate the Isle anew, with Inky in custody. Aristo rolled on the discord another 77 for a support roll, meaning we found shit. There will now be a trial, delivered post haste.

The information we found was this on the Isle -
You see that, most recently, the Godrics secured a dynastic marriage with a minor noble family from the North, who are secretly Pantheonites.
He's also started trading with the Norse since after the war.

Our party makes its way to Dominas. It is early summer, 327. East of Ozdeman, on the northern edge of the great dwarven mountain ranges, lie the High Elves' colonies - the High Elves hail from another continent that lies somewhere in the east. They've been colonising this region for over 200 years now.

We encounter an elven merchant at a Paitran border village. He trades in foodstuffs and alcohol from these parts to the colonial town of Daelkas.

We get to Daelkas in about as much time as we expected and with no issues on the road, other than Adolf's injury. Godric had to go back home, despite his wishes to continue onwards.

We find ourselves in Daelkas, one of the most outlying high elven colonies. It's just barely a town really, its walls are wooden and its population is about 800, but it does get a fair amount of traffic from passing caravans, which makes it more than a village.

Necromancy is strictly forbidden by the Pantheon, which High Elves believe in fervently. Thankfully, rather than persecuted or berated, you are invited to a sermon in the chapel, where the priest talks about morality and our place in the world, in accordance to the Gods' plans.

We've purchased a map that details the eleven colonies. The largest city is Gaerelios to the southeast, beyond which lie the Dwarven Kingdoms, trade with which is what gives the city its wealth, to a large extent.
Haemhelsh is the other port city, which lies to the northeast. There is a large lake in the middle of the region, the shores of which are graced by the city of Aezuleir.

City, in both latter cases, is a slight overstatement, as only Gaerelios would be considered a true city in terms of population by human standarts, but the elves make do with less.

So, what should we do now? We are in Daelkos.

We arrive at the gates of a large city that stands on both shores of a river that flows into the sea.
The stone walls are strong, adorned with towers and guarded by well-armed watchers. We are admitted into the city - a surprisingly clean and beautiful place, given the amount of traffic that goes on here.

Elves make bows in various sizes, you have enough money to either buy a good composite bow or a good longbow.

The ship sails in the morning!
We ride the calm coastal waters south and in less than a week we arrive in Kerligpert - the largest dwarven city built on the surface. It is quite impressive, its harbor is large, but well-defended and the city is prosperous. Our first priority, as always, is to find lodgings - dwarves and gnomes make up most of the city's population, but there is a community of high elves that live here and we find one of their inns to be more comfortable for most of us in terms of size.

It's a new dawn - take this day off after the journey, do whatever you want in the city, gather information or whatnot (roll 1d100s)

Kaesvoeg can be reached by crossing a bridge that spans over a canyon. That bridge is heavily fortified. Our guide explains that Kaesvoeg is a militaristic republic, in which only the soldiers are citizens. The Republic extends over the nearby desert and the mountains that border the Ashlands. Beyond the Frontier lie the demon lands.

We're stopped at the bridge.

A dozen heavily armed guards approach us and ask that we identify ourselves and state our purpose here and why we should be let into the city.

A.We are diplomats from a fellow Pantheonic Kingdom, we wish to speak to your rulers

Our guide handles the negotiation and eventually we're let through the bridge and past the gate that leads into Kaesvoeg.

Underground dwarven cities are the reverse of surface cities - the deeper you go, the richer the district, generally - that is as far as the city stretches, of course, beyond a certain point lie the underground roads and the mines. The dwarves tap deep into their mountains in search of minerals and energy sources for their forges - lava, that is.

The militaristic nature of this Republic is easily visible - the craftsmen favour the production of arms and armor far more than any jewelry or trade goods. Groups of guards patrol the streets, while barracks house young dwarves in training. It is as though the city is constantly on edge.
The city is almost entirely populated by dwarves, with a temple of the Pantheon being home to a few high elves and a few workshops being manned by gnomes.
The lodgings we find aren't the most luxurious and, frankly, spacious.

You've got a free action in this fortress-city now

Servius Ajax, a young dwarf and honored nobleman of Kasvoeg, had accompanied the ambassador to Kerligport as an assistant to the commander of the guards of the embassy, a presitigous post, but one that lacked the oppurtunity for real combat that the young dwarf craved. When the expedition of travellers passed through, the ambitious, military man took his chance and requested the position of military tribune, to be accompanied by a small complement of men and to guide the explorers to Kasvoeg. Ajax used the time of his journey to become acquainted with the northerners, ideas of a further expedition in his mind.

As he arrived in his home city, a city he so dearly loved, the young man set about reconnecting with his extended family, and all the patrons and contacts they brought with them.

Ajax will spend his time gathering supporters, military men and artisans to accompany him in an expedition to the north to found a new freehold, where the young nobelman's visions fort he future could come to fruition.

No other place worships Stoman quite as fiercly as Kasvoeg, probably. The city has its own arena and is home to some of the strongest dwarven warriors - birthed out of necessity, as you learn that the Ashlands beyond the Frontier are home to demons - were it not for Kaesvoeg, the demonic hordes would've long since swept through the desert and to the north or across Hell's Pass into the west.
The other three dwarven states lend aid to Kaesvoeg when necessary, generally in the form of supplies and materials.
The Republic of Kaesvoeg is ruled by an Assembly somewhat similar to that of Kerlegan, though with soldiers being the only ones who vote, the elected leaders of Kaesvoeg are all military specialists.

>>585401
You find a tavern where you drink along with off-duty soldiers. Despite your best efforts, you can't best them, as drinking is among their most refined skills, alongside fighting demons.

>>585481
While their metalworking is a closely guarded art, the dwarves seem somewhat more open to share knowledge of construction with you. You enter in contact with the Masons of Kaesvoeg and may exchange knowledge in the future.

We'll be journeying to The Frontier - Kaesvoeg has military outposts there that guard the borders to the demon-infested Ashlands in the south. The Frontier is the southern part of the Voeg desert. There exists a community of nomadic desert dwarves and we are fortunate enough to meet one in Kaesvoeg, who will take us through the safest and shortest route to the Frontier.

We encountered a caravan of desert dwarves while journeying south. We camped alongside them and shared stories. It is said that among the desert dwarves there is one clan that still worships the Old Gods, we hear.
The Frontier
The edge of civilization in this part of the continent, the desert dwarf tells us.
"You'll find nothing but suffering beyond. Without our warriors guarding the Frontier, that suffering would have long spread north."

He bids us farewell after escorting us to a dwarven military outpost - a single tower above ground, with a full complex buried beneath, with all the facilities it needs to stay functional.

The military officer in charge greets us and says they'll share supplies and lodgings with our party, but only for one day.

"Ah, the portal? It's been closed for a long while, lad, but that hasn't quite stopped the buggers. You see, even if they opened it, these demons here are renegades - Mor's Guards on the other side would try to stop anyone breaking into the Mortal World. The stories tell that way back, that Portal - supposedly the Main Gate between our world and Hell - was opened and many thousands of demons poured through. Some war was fought that ended in the portal being sealed, but not all demons were banished - they went into hiding across the continent. When the Storm hit and the Old Gods perished, the demons once again converged on the portal. They retook these lands - lands that we dwarves had started to colonise - and have since been attempting to reopen the portal. Now, these are the old demons - they are the leaders of these renegades, but in their ranks there are many young demons, mortals who converted to demonhood without having died. Getting converts has also been one of the main things these demons have been doing. Aside from that , some say there is a way to summon small amounts of demons from Hell without opening that big portal, but I don't know about that. I'm not a magician."
>>585606
"They number in the many tens of thousands at least and they are well supplied with slaves of all races. These slaves labor to support the demonic armies and are used for sacrifice. Stopping the flow of slaves through Hell's Pass is also our job, but the thing is, that's not the only way into the Ashlands - there's Demons' Pass to the south as well and I've heard that at the edge of these mountains, further south, lies a desert that connects to the Ashlands with no barriers. Furthermore, the demons have ships of their own and they also eagerly welcome pirates and smugglers of all races, despite the best efforts of us dwarves and the high elves to stop such traffic by sea.
As for demonic strongholds, the last time we sent an expedition into the Ashlands was two generations ago and it didn't end well. Since then we've been guarding the Frontier and doing the best we can to confine them to those lands."
>>585655
"I've heard of smaller portals that can be opened across the world and then destroyed without too much trouble, but this one's something completely different. I've never seen it meself, but the old tales say that it is massive and stronger than any slab of rock you'd be able to dig up from a mountain."

Our party comes across a strange view - several horse-drawn carts, with a few riders guarding it. At the head of what looks like a fairly normal merchant caravan stands what looks like a young woman, a girl even - she could pass as a human, were it not for her bluish skin and sharp ears. The guards have similar looks, though their age seems more appropriate for their positions.

The caravan hasn't spotted us and is moving down a stone road of decent enough quality. They stop at a fork, on which a stone obelisk stands - we can't tell what's on it.

We reach the "City" of Taemein. By the standarts of a people who do not reproduce (and in the dark elves' case, people who reproduced a lot slower than others even in their previous lives) it could be called such, but its population is no more than 6000 people, you'd guess.
It's located in a valley in which some life exists - exotic animals and plants can be found here and the architecture of the city is also quite unique.

Desert expedition results later.

Those who decided to go to Hell's Gate City:

You encounter no hostilities on the road. You see small farms a few times, worked by slaves and managed by demons - in some places in the Ashlands crops can grow and volcanic soil can help a lot with it.

You arrive in the city. I say in the city, because there's no place to arrive "At", seeing as it is not protected by walls or fortresses.

As it turns out, the demons don't have a government. A city has naturally sprung up around the Portal over time. Demon craftsmen make fine works of art, weapons and armor and slaves labour in more menial tasks. The City is considered neutral ground for the various demonic warbands that gather here in peace to rest and recover from their campaigns across the lands and seas.

The central area of the city is occupied by the Great Portal. It lies silent, its jaw shut.

There's no central government to negotiate with or anything, so you're free to do as you wish - that is the motto by which the demons themselves abide, the freedomlovers that they are.

Your question prompts a passionate group of demon musicians in the tavern to play a song that brings all the patrons to their feet, fists to their chests, singing along - it is a song about Freedom, the only thing that truly matters to the demons.

Specifically, Lothar asked to learn of demonic weaponry.

They teach him how to forge a fine, long and curved sword - the swords of this demonic design that they have are all made out of rare magical materials and are heavily enchanted, but you'd need said materials for that. He does learn the designs and how to handle that kind of blade, being granted a scroll of demon swordsmanship that describes techniques

Our expedition into the demonlands heads back home.
In Dragonstomb they meet the dwarf-desert expedition as well - they give their report...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAAlDoAtV7Y

Among the nomadic desert dwarves there is one clan, numbering less than a thousand, which still worships the Old Gods. Your expedition to find them ultimately succeeds, locating their current camp in the dunes.
These dwarves ride animals called "Camels" across the desert and live in tent camps.

What prompted dwarves to give up on the subterrean life and even of living in a surface settlement though?
The desert dwarves as a culture began after the Storm - when the Faith of the Pantheon was spread to the Dwarven Kingdoms there were religious wars against the most hardcore Old Faith-dwarves. Those who refused to surrender moved to the Voeg desert. Eventually most of those also accepted the Pantheon and settled in oases, but one clan remains true to the old ways.

They believe that the Old Gods are not truly dead, but rather imprisoned. While they are not the only ones who believe that the Old Gods might still exist, other such people across the world all end up worshipping some living being - a dragon, usually. These dwarves reject the draconic worship as well, calling it heretical. Among them is a prophecy, that when the Sun Stops and the Moon Shines Dark, when the winds turn cold and the waters warm, a second Storm will come and the Old Gods will return with vengeance upon this world and only those who still believe in them with all their hearts will survive their wrath.

The marriage of Brutus whitevayne and Talis Swiftwood is to proceed forthwith.

The marriage is at the temple at Constantinople. The grandiose event is open to all current factions and peoples. A short public ceremony to the plebeians will also take place.

Duke Whitevayne does not spare expenses to make this a brilliant wedding. Though he was snubbed by the Pontiff's absence, there were plenty of priests in attendance and he had already spoken to the Priestess of Domna that would handle the rites of the marriage. A strangely large number of Batahl priests were present, probably there to help with all the merriment that was to come!
First the attendees gather in the Duke's Palace Courtyard, chat for a while and all that - neither the bride nor the groom is seen, as per tradition they are in separate chambers.

Brutus Whitevayne's clothes are spectacular and in every way he looks handsome, as any of the attending ladies would attest.

Lady Talis Swiftwood of Gaerelios wears a beautiful wedding dress. She is equal in height to Duke Brutus, people notice, but then again - she is a high elf! They say she is an accomplished alchemist and a talented magician.

The Chapel has been prepared for the event - the Priestess performs the ritual without error and the bride and groom exchange a kiss. The attendees applaude and the whole procession moves to the hall designated for the next part of the wedding - the feast! After the feast there will be the bedding ritual, but until then all the guests are invited to eat, drink, dance, tell tales and have plenty of fun!

State what you'll do and if you want you can roll! Let's have fun.

With the basics of Close Quarters Combat on his side, the Ranger Grandmaster subdued every oponent in his path - the demon bodyguard proved to be the worthiest and witnesses would later debate whether it was a draw or a victory for the Ranger - such a dynamic fight it was indeed, that the Grandmaster remarked that if that demon knew the basics of CQC, he'd become the ultimate soldier.

Outside of the heated orgies and hotheaded fistfights there was a heatful, hotheaded debate about whether the King would be granted his Right of First Night.

Duke Brutus Whitevayne stormed out and headed for the wine cellar.

The King, grinning, shouted
"Get over here everyone! The bedding's about to start!"

The King, his Kingsguard Hakon, a procession of guards, attendees and several Batahl priests picked up the bride, slowly taking off bits of her clothing as they took her to the bedchamber. Aside from them, most other wedding attendees had either left the Palace or headed down to the wine cellar.
The Guards stood outside, while the King and his Kinsguard Commander entered with the bride, Talis Swiftwood. Hakon and Dascaf were laughing as they each took a glass of wine that had been left in the chamber "All the headaches with Brutus were worth it, Hakon" "Why yes, my liege." "For your assistance, I plan to reward you, as my loyal Wingman and Kingsguard, you shall join me in tonight's conquest, har har!" You heard plenty.

Not only was it owed to the confusion surrounding the "Bride", but you noticed that there was a fire blazing in one of the rooms! Somebody must have accidentally started it, but there's no one around! The people in the Palace are evacuated and Guards rush in to put out the fires.

In the courtyard, everyone is assembled and soon everything that occured is revealed to the people present.

Apparently that Priest of Batahl who had climbed the wall used a spell to create an impression of the exact moment in which Hakon and Dascaf realised what was going on - their reaction could be seen well. A painter, hired by Aapo The Great Fein, was given the impression to create a painting that will be hanged on the wall of the Great Fein's own Hall and kept as one of his finest treasures.

And for this session - which I must admit was the most fun session I've ever had - I bid you all farewell and a good night.

From our travels in eastern lands we've learned of advanced construction techniques, which it appears some in Paitras have known, but kept secret - the secret to making cement and concrete is now ours! The materials required are fairly common - minor minerals such as gypsum, lime serve make up the mortar, which is a binder when mixed with water. The mortar is combined with the aggregate - a more hard material, rocks or ceramic products can be used - to form a very durable construction material that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. Volcanic ash can also be used as an ingridient in the binder for the highest quality, which is partly why the dwarves and demons have had this technology for a while now.
We still have little experience in using this material, but many have faith in its future role in construction.

The ice dragons being a major threat to Roggar numerous factions have gone together to find a potential weapon to be used against these vile creatures. Up until now we have been practically defenseless against these dragons, our only saving grace being heroes sacrificing their lives to deal with them.

The first initiative was taken by the Roggar War Council whom gathered a group of likeminded individuals to create a weapon to stop the dragons. After much deliberation it was decided that a ballista of sorts would be the best alternative. The wood was provided by the elves under Thanatos of the Green Watch. The strings made up of dragon sinew, taken (smuggled away) from the 2 dragons killed in the last war. Then finally put together by the expert craftsmanship of the Rangers of Roggar.

Now with a powerful ballista all that was needed was an arrow worthy of the ingenuity of the device. The shaft of the arrows was made by dragon bone. The fletching enchanted by the most devote pantheon followers under Pontiff Thuzad of the Nayteminds to make certain that the arrow would fly its course. And finally, perhaps the most important part, the arrow head, the point. The core of it being made up of Galentine (the rest enchanted steel), perhaps our most valued possession, supplied by Aedin Silverhand. Crafted to perfection in the forges of the Roggar War Council. Then the arrows are sent to the temple of Mor, under Swift-Hands, to receive fire enhancements to make certain (we hope) it would put an end to the ice dragons.

The culminations of all these efforts is “Roggars Revenge” the single greatest design made in all of Roggar. The final product of countless hours of work of the greatest minds in Roggar. A ballista accompanied by 3 (three) arrows will be put on our best ships, for rapid deployment to wherever needed. These ships will be the long ships under Håkon Gunnarson, while the weapon will be crewed by primarily the Rangers of Roggar, blessed by our most holy priests. (no clue how many we can actually make, 7? One ballista per dragon?)

We do not know how many of “Roggars Revenge” will be built, but we hope that with these weapons we can fight the dragons. We hope that once again - Roggar can stand tall. (Make Roggar great again!)

In the aftermath of the ogre genocide, Ermagn is one of two towns to form nearby the ruins of the city Irlashg; with a population of 6000, Ermagn focuses mainly on trade and defence against bandits. For export it focuses on tool, weapons and little novelties; while it mainly imports food, as there is little good farmland nearby. It's current leader in Count Lotric.

While the main expedition visited the Hell's Gate City, Barnabus alongside some quite progressive norsemen decided to visit the ancient desert dwarven city. There he enjoyed hearing about the old gods and taking in the scenery. After the two expedition met up again, Barnabus took a couple of interviews with the members of the expedition that visited the demon city. He talked with a certain sailor who claimed that he bet his soul in a drinking contest and won, though Barnabus doubted that the man was telling the truth. he tried talking with a goblin sailor but decided not to after he started crying and breaking down in front of him, he talked with one of the centurions about some fascinating demon weaponry and even got to see scroll of demon swordsmanship that describes techniques. He interviewed many and they all said one thing in common that the demons worship freedom before all and that their whole way of life centers around personal freedom. "Truly fascinating" Barnabus wrote"To think that such rich and diverse culture stood so close to Roggar and yet we never knew of it! I hope my book will change this greatly, for this has truly been an adventure of a lifetime."
Upon returning home Barnabus also chronicled the wedding of Brutus Whitevayne and the hilarity of the occasion. Finaly with one last sketch of the nobles of the kingdom lined up, Barnabus had finished his book. He gave it a name
"The Great Men of Roggar and the Journey of a lifetime".
With the aid of the Advisers he creates 40 copies of the book and distributes it to all the lords of kingdom and academies, even exporting some to Paitras and one to the Elves.
Barnabus is satisfied with his work and only waits to see how well it is received.

The current voting system has led to everyone attempting to become king only to drop out (if they rolled lower than 80). While those that did not try to become king, but rather spent all their time campaigning trying to help their candidate are in the same situation as the others. I believe this to be counterproductive and leads to less stability in Roggar. Hence I believe it should be changed.
As it is now you roll a 1d100 to be king and a 1d10 to support a candidate. Instead I subject these potential changes that you can vote for: (This here has been green lighted by Civ Bulgar)

A1. Increase the vote for those that haven’t tried to become king to 1d20
A2. Decrease the vote for those that tried to become king to 1d5

You've expanded the walls and linked the two towns to Constantinople's walls. You've attracted more people to the metropolitan union that's been formed, but there can still be seen an area on both sides that is sparsely populated, dominated by small orchards and the like that supply the city.

You build a large and beautiful temple to Domna in your duchy's capital. The priesthood of Domna is almost entirely female - in civilian life they help organise weddings, asisst in the safe delivery of newborn children and take care of orphans. In terms of magic, they can heal the mind and soul and cast warding spells that can keep evil away. Consider this a great asset.
>>590922
You build special ballistae that can swivel at faster rates than the regular ones. The bolts they load must therefore be smaller, but you make up for it with their high quality, as you will have amassed a stockpile of more than two score such bolts by the end of the decade.
>>590947
You've upgraded the walls and improved urban infrastructure. With peasants living in the outer walls, the inner walls are reserved for temples, administrative offices, merchants and craftsmen - the third district has finally started to prosper as small businesses have sprung up over time there - potters, bakers, smiths, jewelers, the third district will thus form the solid base of Gregariapol's economy.
>>591025
You've made Vaesgyolis a proper medium-sized city with a harbor to match.

Food production
What should we do?
Currently the food situation in our Kingdom is stable, but that is because of imports from the Halfling Kingdom. On one hands, since they are tariffless they have driven down food prices and made food accessible, but on the other it has surpressed competition from local producers and has made it harder for unskilled laborers to get into the agricultural field and be productive enough to get payed, since they are being outcompeted by more efficient halfling farmers. According to our laws slavery and indentured servitude are banned in Roggar, so every farm worker has to be payed for his work.
We are still in the process of implementing the manoral agricultural system. Manors are more efficient than old-school farming and are better able to compete in the market, generally, while those regions that still haven't adopted that method are the ones that seem to be struggling more.

Choose one or two
A.Pump more money into our current efforts(standartising the manoral agricultural system and getting unemployed peasants back to the fields where they belong)
B.Expand our fishing fleets
C.Clear woodlands to gain more arable lands
D.Make an agricultural reform of some sort(You'd have to suggest)

With the human nations exhausted from warfare, peace still reigns. Paitras has largely rebuilt what's left of its territories, with aid from dwarves and elves. With King Yalmfrid's embargo on trade with the norse, maritime trade in our Kingdom has lowered over the years, while land-based trade has increased. Recently a high elf merchant visited Dragonstomb - the same one we met on our expedition a few years ago! He says that the priests are optimistic as the lands are healing. There have been no raids from the norse, the centaurs, the Barbarian King or the demons. Peace still endures.

I guess I got slightly cucked with that, but all goods.

I am basically working on things as discussed in chat, (working on my demesne and getting everything up to High Elf quality of life (for the elves lol, fuck them peasants)).

Dear King and all his Loyal Subjects
I have fallen ill and fell into a coma for a week. After I woke I felt really sick, I don't know why or how, this "illness" came on to me. Maybe it was one of the many enemies we fought or it's the one of the people getting this letter. I don't know, but I request to speak to the King about this. So King may we set up a meeting, I must know who ever tried to kill me, or it's just a illness, there is a way to stop it.

A massive earthquake hit the Threemine region, collapsing the mines and destroying the town - thousands of humans, goblins and ogres died and the local infrastructure is ruined. This is coming at the same time as reports that we've hit peak Galentine and from now on the deposits in the Nayte lake will start running out and by the end of the century there will be no more Galentine left to mine at the current speeds.
We don't know what caused this. Some say the dwarves dug too deep, others say it is the Gods' punishment, the craziest theorists say it's just a natural occurence! Hah!

The land has been cracked by the earthquake, everything turned upside down, so to speak.
We pass by what must have been a small farm on the way, it's a bit hard to tell. Some decaying corpses and ruined huts.
