Looking for a journey through a strange land filled with monster girls and magic? Well, you came to the right place! This quest has an emphasis on world building, character-driven narrative, social interactions and combat. At times we like to collect cute little sisters on the way.

Last thread you managed to save Taka from the nightmare curse that held her in your subconscious. In doing so you promised to help the nightmare curse exist outside your mind for her assistance in rescuing Taka. In the process, you gave her a name and after some deliberation, you bounded her to your shadow and made her your little sister. You handed over the Sun orb to Yaga who told you she knew where the Night orb would be. You decided against going right away though since it was likely too dangerous for your group now. Instead, you opted to help Yaga out with an errand in the south involving some centaurs. On your way down you decided to stop by the Girtablilu village to say hi to Sei and gather information on the local centaurs. It seems a power struggle has emerged in the clans as an outsider was recently made chieftain. Sei tried to answer your questions as best you can but it seems like you will have to talk to Rakun for the full details. For now, though you decided to stay for a while and learn what more you could. And maybe go on a nice date with Aki in the meantime.

“Thanks again Sei,” you smile and wave as you begin walking to the door and subsequently the library. Talking with Sei and going on a nice date with Aki would have to wait, due to the pressing issue these centaurs sound to be. The once great library may now be under construction but you needed as much info as you could. The once old and decrepit library was now the center of intention as an effort between both races were busy rebuilding. Demolition was occurring as well and as a result, dust was rampaging in the zone. You held your nose closed and used your arm as a visor in an attempt to block the hundred-year-old dust from getting anywhere into your body. Thankfully you didn’t have to walk through the zone and skirted around it to the side entrance of the library. Once inside it looked almost five times dustier than you remember it being and that old dusty book smell has amplified to match. You felt like keeping your nose shut the entire time you were here would be a wise decision. *cough cough* “Why is it so damn worse than last time?!” Victoria shouted. The rest of your party groan with similar discomfort but you had to press on. You explain to everyone,“The sooner we find that book the sooner we can leave okay?” “Okay….” the group groaned as they once again began looking for Siegfried's manuals.

You never knew how much you would ever miss the duodecimal system until now. The search was arduous but with your powers combined, you found the book in question. Let's see what this explorer has to say about centaurs. The manual reads, “The centaurs are a race of people that are territorial and surprisingly mystic. War is their occupation but their gods are said to divine their paths. Most often the paths are ones of conquest and expansion. The centaurs bands are made up typically of various clans with one powerful clan and chieftain as leader of the coalition. The clans rank themselves, oddly, in prestige which equates to nobility in some houses, though fundamentally the system is based on strength and leadership. Cheiftans are said to have the will of the gods which inspire loyalty from the rest of the band.” “Huh, that is some pretty nice broad info but is there anything more specific here?” you say as your eyes scan each page carefully.

You find an odd aside passage Siegfried seems to have written on centaurs. “While they may look and act like warriors it seems that most centaur women have innate desires to be pampered and adored like human women. They enjoy poetry and gifts but may be too proud to admit it publicly. It is commonly believed that centaur women are fiercely independent and protectors which it seems they at least wish to be, though (according to them) the males seem to hog all the glory to themselves . They are an odd mystery, one-half warrior the other a longing woman. It took several attempts on my part to court one successfully but in my attempts, I noticed that there were distinct differences between the classes. The more prestigious clan women are treated as flowers and rearers of young and truly desire combat, while the lower level clans women tend to want to be pampered. When I did manage to court one I discovered that in intimate matters the centauresses enjoy-” “Alright, that’s enough you horndog” You slam the book shut.

You didn’t think he would have anything else helpful on the subject after that but you were in a library and had access to this idiot’s collection. Maybe there was something else worth looking up before you head out on your date with Aki.

>Look-up info on (enter species here)

You didn’t really trust anything else Siegfried had to say about centaurs but maybe, just maybe he knew about something else. You begrudgingly re-open the journal and look for anything referencing shadow demons. They were the closest thing you could think of that was like Kagehana. You didn’t find much, as you expected, but you did find a small passage, “Beings of shadow live in the far north past the accursed lands. These shadow creatures are said to be rather aggressive and attack people psychologically. No one apparently knows how these shadow creatures have come to be, but most link it with the supposed temple to the shadow god in the north. The most you hear from people around the main continent is that they are dreadful creatures who delight in the torment of others. On my personal travels to their supposed homeplace I found nothing but desolation and pitch blackness. It is my failure as an explorer and a man to not document these creatures more closely or attempt to court one. However in my further travels I heard that a special flower is supposed to guide your way through the north. On my next walk there I shall find this out personally” You pull back from the book as despite his intentions it seems no other entries were listed on the subject, “Nothing too groundbreaking but what do you think?” You ask your shadow who was busy leaning over your shoulder, “Meh, seems like he only got the basics, but even then father created me, only he would know truly what I am. Though these shadow creatures in the north might know more.” Kagehana sighs, “but it's not like we are going there anytime so so whatever.” The shadow quickly melds back into your projected darkness.

The explored did leave a hint for further travels, though, apparently, a flower can light your way through the darkness. You’ll have to ask some floral experts on that one, but you were fairly certain you have heard similar things said about a flower some time back. “Alright everyone that is enough.” You announce to your crew as you make for the exit. The dust plagued you once again but the second time is never as rough as the first they say. Once outside you look to Aki and subsequently forward to your date. You’re sure Aki will love a chance to head back home. You want this to be romantic, but then again you are in a land known for its creatures of ill temperament.

“Alright everyone, for now, let's return to Sei and rest. Tomorrow we should head out to Rakun and get some more answers.” Your friends nod in agreement and begin to walk away.

“Hey Aki, “ you say while grabbing her claw, “Do you want to go back to your home in the desert for a bit, you know to say hi to the children.” Aki seems happy but a bit confused, “Of course I would, but isn’t the issue with the centaurs a little pressing?” You rub the back of your neck, “Yeah, but we can spare the time.” You start walking forward with her in tow, away from the rest of your friends. “Hey Kagehana,” you whisper to yourself, “Tell Taka that we will be back in a bit, and Ask Nessera and Serena to come with us from stealth, we won’t be far but I want to make sure we are safe.” You didn’t hear respond but you did notice your shadow project far longer than it naturally should back toward your friends. You walk was rather pleasant, back through the town and tunnels to the red waves of dessert. As you neared your first meeting place Aki’s speed increased until she was overtaking you. You soon found yourself in a familiar pit where dozens of small mounds were rushing about frantically. Aki herself dove under to sand suddenly and joined them. All the small ones converged on her location and soon an upheaval of young basilisks along with their babysitter emerged. The cute young ones seemed to be overjoyed at Aki’s return as they clung onto her smiled and swung happily. You could hear a small barrage of “Big Sis Aki, Big Sis Aki.” The woman in question looked ecstatic as she played with the children. They tugged on her in almost al directions with enough force to make the basilisk stumble, “heh,” it was enough to make you chuckle. It would have been rude to interrupt this sweet reunion so you waited until the excitement died down. … … … . Little did you know it would take almost an hour and a half to happen. By the end of the tribulation, Aki looked ragged but still kept a smile on her face as she slithered back over to you.

She laid down in the sand next to you, “Thanks for taking me back here. I never did get to say goodbye to them when we left all the time ago.” “I’m just glad I was able to bring back their dear elder sister.” “Hehe, you feel the same now with yours?” “Yeah..” you lay down next to her. “I guess it comes with the job. Hey, look at me for a moment…” Aki turns toward you now close face, but you meet her gaze with your hands gently reaching up to her face. Before she had a moment to fully grasp what was happening you pull her crutch away from her. “There,” you say as you take off her mask. “Now I get to see the woman I love in the eyes.” The basilisk blushed as she tried to hide her deep and striking yellow eyes. Her actions remind you of your first encounter. Her eyes back then were full of lust and it honestly scared you, but now you see only beauty in them. “Don’t do that.” you move her hands away from her face. “I want to see you.” She bashfully accepts, and while looking at her you think once again about the past. “Hey Aki…” you say as you roll back onto your back and look up into the blue sky, “What did you do before we met?” “Before then?” Aki follows your example and lies similarly on her back. “Well, I had been a babysitter for years before then. I was always good with kids because of my family. Basilisks have large families, and I was the eldest. My mother died when most of my brothers and sisters were still young and I picked up where she left off.” “I'm sorry..” you apologize for making her remember such a sad event, one of which you could relate to equally. “It’s fine,” She died long before we met and I was able to ‘hold down the fort’ so they say.” Aki’s eyes become light and out of focus as she remembers her past, “Mother was always kind and respectful, she wanted what was best for everyone no matter who they were. Violence was always her last resort and she wishes that one day all of us would be able to live without our masks on. Though ironically she kept it on at all times to prevent herself from attacking others. Still, her dream for the future was strong.” “She sounds wonderful, and you act just like she sounds.” She smiles, “hehe, I still have a way to go but I am just glad I get to make sure the younger ones are happy as they should be.”
>>
>>623492

Aki has always struck you as being one of the most selfless people you have ever known. Practically all she thinks about are the well beings of others, especially you. You look down at the mask in your hands, but you also know that the one thing she wants is to the same thing her mother wanted, to be free of the mask. Aki forces herself to wear it for others, and whenever she doesn’t wear it she can go crazy. No matter what might happen, every part of you wants to help her. But how?

>Keep the mask away from her, she will have to get used to not wearing it that way
>Destroy the mask
>Give her back the mask, Maybe another time
>Write in
>>
>>623502
Let us end this date with some building up the ability to live without the mask. Have her not wear it as we walk around town. Though make sure she has it with her. In case things start to get bad so she that she can put it back on.

Also even if it goes bad and the Mask goes back on we should promise her that we will help her to get to a point where she does not need to wear the mask.
>>
>>623610

Thinking about the mask you ask Aki, “I have a fun game in mind, how about you keep the mask off around town but I’ll make sure to be with you and have it just in case.” “W-What?! But you know that is dangerous!” “Yeah, but I want you to live without it, and although everyone appreciates the sacrifice you are making I don’t want you to live your life afraid of what you might do. We’ll make sure you live without the mask no matter what!” you proclaim proudly as you stand up and offer her a hand. “I-If you say so…” she begrudgingly accepts your idea stands with your help. Holding hands you head back to town while keeping a close one on Aki to make sure she was alright.

You were concerned while you were heading on your way home that someone would try to ruin this day but thankfully nothing happened. You breathe a small sigh of relief and continue on your way back to town. It was getting late so there weren't as many people about on the street but you held Aki's hand firmly as you went. She encouraged herself to look down instead of risk catching a mere glimpse of a man. You tried to encourage her to keep her chin up but she would rather play it safe than sorry.

You two miraculously didn't have any major incidents Aki even got brief looks as people and although you felt a squeeze on your hand she didn't dart off. When you return to the safety of the palace walls you finally let go of Aki's claw and said, "Wonderful Aki!" you didn't even try to tug away from me, "Y-Yeah..." she responded after a brief pant. "Are you okay?" you ask out of concern. "For now yeah.." she breathes heavily, "But I... need you tonight." "Oh?" Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, you blush. "Alright, but give me a minute, I'll meet you in bed shortly." "If you... say so..." She slithers off back to the bedroom.

"You should know that you were being watched." "Ah!" you jump forward as you hear Nessera's voice suddenly behind you. She looks confused as you calm yourself, "Sorry, I honestly forgot you were with us the whole time." She sighs, "Either way, you were being watched by more than just us. I saw two different groups of centaurs run by, both stopped to look at you. One of the groups lingered longer than the other, but they both made a clear note of your presence before leaving. "Alright, thanks." Although it is a little concerning at least they didn't try to attack you or anything.

You didn't get a chance to talk to Sei today, and you wanted to head out in the morning if possible. If those centaurs were watching you then you needed to talk to Rakun as fast as you could. Or else your ability to walk freely in their territory may become compromised in some way. We could talk to Sei tonight and have Aki wait for a while, though if that is the case she might get a bit more "aggressive" than usual tonight.

You look back to the bedroom door. Aki is sure to kill you tonight, but if you wanted to leave in the morning you needed to talk with Sei. You walk through the palace coming to a room which you were certain Sei was in. It was large and decorative and fit a queen after all. Once inside you find the small queen looking over some papers at an adequately sized desk.

“Hard at work?” you ask as you walk over. “I have to..” Sei says as she continues to shift papers around her desk, “Rebuilding a community that has been fragmented and separated from society for almost 100 years is hard work. And it will take a few years to even get off the ground. All I can do is work hard.” “I’m impressed,” you admit, “When we first met you, you were afraid of outsiders and us, but now look at you a hard working queen running a whole village.” She blushes, “To be fair the elder helps me quite a bit, especially in the beginning, but thanks.” Sei shifts the subject. “What about you all? Your team has doubled since last time, surely you had some excitement occur.” “Yeah…” you sit down in a chair on the opposite side of her desk, “I don’t know if exciting is the right word, more like perilous. Just before coming here I had to save Taka, the young kitsune from death and confront a curse in the process. Top that off with evil artifacts and multiple near-death encounters, it has been… stressful” you say as you place your hand on your head facing downward.” “Well, I think it's wonderful that you have been able to stay yourself after all that. That means it can’t have been too bad.” “Yeah…” you respond, you may have said that but you yourself don’t believe it. Your anger has been slowly starting to get the better of you and your paranoia is only getting worse. After Taka died you became a simple machine that stopped for no one and killed any who got in your way. Even after saving Taka you broke the will of your new companion. You did change your mind about that but the fact that you did it in the first place spoke volumes. At least so you think. “Are you okay?” Sei asked noticing your silent and blank stare on your face. “Sorry, just spacing out.” “You look tired,” The queen said, “You should go get some rest while you can.” “Heh, I’m tired of a lot of things.” You reel back in your seat and put on a happier face. “Well, Sei tomorrow morning we will be leaving. Thanks for all you were able to help us with and I wish you the best of luck here.” “Thanks, but I wish I could have helped you all a bit more.” “Nah,” you wave your hand, “No big deal, we are just glad for anything you had to offer.” You stand. “See you tomorrow,” you say as you leave the queen to her work.
>>

You make your way back to your room when you remember just what is waiting for you. You just hope she isn't too anxious. When you open the door to your room you were immediately grabbed by a tail that pulled you into your bed. Yup, she’s anxious. Aki was naked and clutching onto you harder than usual. Here eyes glared directly into your and you felt part of your body hardening as she began to kiss you voraciously. You didn’t have the right to complain since you knew this was going to happen and although it was a bit painful it slowly started to feel good. Aki even began to make small bits into your neck and breasts. That’s a new one.

That night Aki tossed you about the entire room for hours on end. At one point you were pretty certain she treated you like a ragdoll. You woke up sore the next day and covered in small bites and rosy marks from where she assaulted you. Aki Was hugging you but her embrace wasn’t enough to stop the pain. Yuki will have to see you in the morning before you headed out for sure.

By the time you were able to get up the rest of your team was waiting outside your room. “You uh okay?” Victoria asked, “You know for the most part.” “Just come here.” Yuki pouted as she grabbed your arm and started healing your “wounds.” “Honestly she should learn to hold back from time to time.” Yuki chided as she worked. After a few extra minutes, Aki walked out of the room masked and embarrassed. You sigh, “Whatever, let's just go before more centaurs come and cause problems.” You party begrudgingly agreed and as you walked away Sei was at the entrance and waved you all goodbye. It was nice to stop by and see her again and from what you could tell her village seems to be and a great track to recovery. You wish her well and head out on your way to Rakun.

You travels were going overall fine, hot as you would expect for a dessert but then you came across some moving mounds of sand. Reminiscent of the mounds you saw yesterday you figured they would just let you walk by, but it didn’t look that way. After a few more steps the mounds started to come barreling toward your group. And more and more of them started to pop up. There was at least 10 and they showed no sign of slowly. “Hello!” you tried to shout to the mounds” but they did not seem to have either heard you or are listening. The rest of your team drops into a combat stance.

Serena and Nessera fly into the sky and hone on enemies with their crossbows. “Everyone for up around Yuki, Anna and Victoria work together in this. The battle got messy right off the bat. The salamanders charged headfirst but one of them ran their face straight into one of Victoria’s spears. Meanwhile, a few of them got tripped up by your water magic and fell prone though not before one of the chargers throw their swords and clipped your leg. One of the chargers that targeted Aki turned around and attacked one of their allies, “Hey! What the!” the surprised Salamander yelled as it began fending off their own ally. The imps were able to snipe off two of the salamanders as you hoped and Anna was tying down two of them but got hit more than a few times in the process. Rozalin was dueling one as a knight should but took a couple hits in the process and was looking a bit hurt. Taka and Kagehana teamed up to take down one of the chargers. Kagehana flew over to the mad salamander and after implanting her hands into the attackers head they grew terrified and fell forward in front of Taka who finished them.

There are 11 Salamanders left. One of them is being influenced by Yuki but she needs concentration and the salamanders are beginning to notice her tricks. Rozalin and Anna are both looking tired and you had a sword cut along your leg. Your armors did lessen the blow but Anna still looked worse for wear.

Perhaps is if you try and weave this to your advantage. “Look now at your forces!” you yell. “Look at the 4 that have fallen and the 1 that is being controlled. We pose far greater power and magic than you realize but we do not wish to kill all of you. Surrender now and let's avoid this conflict, or else risk yourselves being devoured!” Many of the attacks stop and look around them. What you said was indeed true and they slowly begin to back off. “Not yet human!” the first Salamander yelled, I crave a fight!”

Most of the salamanders back down fearing their companions fates but that one kept going straight for you.

Let us get a quick heal if we can then 1v1. Might as well limit casualties and this could prove useful in future dealings with salamanders.

For the 1v1 let us start out defensive and search for weaknesses in our opponents form. When a weakness is found exploit it. And go for non-lethal. We want to prove we are better not kill people.

You square up to the shouting leader. “Fine, then we shall settle this you and me.” “Oh?” The salamander says in haughty surprise, “So you want to make this interesting for you too then… well then” She redies her blade, “Lets go then!” She charges in as you defend. You blocked her incoming blows while you looked for a weakness. “Is waiting all you are content with?!”

She pummels away but your sword breaker is coming in handy for blocking. Despite her taunts, this battle isn’t going anywhere as you continue to bide time and look for a weakness. You notice that oddly she is swinging with both hands. But not at the same time but alternating in an attempt to work both arms. This frequent switch leaves a brief opening for a counter attack.

And what better a counter attack than a punch to the face. “C’mon human I am getting bored!” she taunts and continues. “Sorry,” you apologize as she begins to transition and jump up from your position and uppercut her directly in the jaw. “Wha!” she tried to react but your timing was just right and you knocked her off her feet. You kicked her sword away as you mounted her and begin to pummel away at the girl’s face. She is still dazed from your blow but she attempts to grab and roll you over the sand. You repeated punches to the face said otherwise.

She tried to resist until the very end but you just kept going, and going and going. Soon her arms fell limp to your side but you had to make sure right? And I mean she did ask for this. You gave her another good punch to ensure that she was unconscious. You breathe heavily as you rise from your position. "Anyone... else?" you look at the rest of her already shaken companions. They all shake their heads and scurry away. A couple of them hanged back, though. They didn't look like they were going to attack but more like they were waiting for their leader to get up.

This presents an oppritinuty.

You look to the few waiting for their leader, "Yuki heal her so we can wake her up. I want to ask her some things. "Oh, okay.." She seemed shaken since combat just finished and you were asking her to heal your attacker but still you had good reason too. You friend comes over and heals the salamander just enough to where she slowly wakes up. "Ughhh.." she rubs her head, "That was some fight human I'll give you that." "Thanks but I want to ask you some things before we get to your punishment." "Punishment?" she asks, but you don't answer, "First what do you know about the centaurs of this region?" "Huh? Not much other than they seem to be too busy fighting each other to accomplish anything. I mean we like a good fight ourselves but they don't know when to quit." "Do you know anything about what might be going on?" She thinks for a second before answering, "Nah, but it has been getting worse. More and more fights have been reported. I want to join in but that would just raise a lot of questions and we aren't big enough to take them on... yet." "Alright, and what of an old chieftain name Rakun." "The old man? he lives in a hut just south of here." she points behind her. "He doesn't care much for fighting, more of a crummy bookworm." "I see, thanks."

You motioned to Rozalin to come over, "Yes dear?" she asks, but you address the salamander, "For your punishment, you will have to play with her for a time being." "Play?!" the salamander uproars as Rozalin looks excited. "My aren't you sweet thinking about me at a time like this." The bicorn saunters over to the defeated woman and begins to run her hands along the poor things body. "Your rather strong... but I think you might enjoy a time as a submissive girl." "What are you talking about?!" the girl's yells as she tries to fidget away from the bicorn. "Now now, just relax and look at me.." Rozalin puts her face close to the salamanders and you begin to smell an alluring aroma." The salamander's eyes go wide. "Now tell me what you want" the bicorn ran her fingers across the sides of the salamander's face. "You..." she responded and she tried to kiss Rozalin. Rozalin pulled away, "ah ah ah," she waged her finger, "You'll have to ask nicer than that." "Please..." the salamander said softly. Rozalin giggled to herself "I can't hear you unless you speak up." "Please!" "What was that?" the bicorn pretended she couldn't hear. "Please! I want you I want everything about you just please let me have it!" The once proud woman shouted. "fufu, much better." Finally, the bicorn gave her what she wanted and kissed the now emotionally defeated girl. Damn Rozalin can be terrifying.

Rozalin's play went on for a while but she seemed satisfied with a long makeout session. You were in a hurry after all. The salamander was sprawled out onto the sand and panted heavily as Rozalin returned to the rest of your group. "Thank you for that dear, It has been a while." "Yeah... no problem." what just happened was a little off putting but you figured now you should continue on your way to Rakun. You begin the walk away and notice the salamanders running and dragging their leader away. She was conscious this time, but she sure didn't look it.

You were concerned your journey would have more excitement but thankfully. You make it to supposedly Rakun’s home of exile where you find an old centaur sitting outside the home in an appropriately long chair reading a book. As you walk closer the old centaur doesn’t look like he notices you so you call out to him. “Hello, I am looking for a chieftain named Rakun?” “The centaur ignores you and keeps reading. “Um… do you know where I can find him?” Again ignored. “Could you please answe-” you were cut off by a finger that was pointed in front of the old man. After a moment though it drops and he address you all proper, “Visitors? I am sorry but I make it a rule to finish a page before tearing away from a story and you had the unfortunate luck of trying to talk as soon as I turned a page.” “Alright, but did you hear what I asked.” “Only that you were an old exiled man, but why are you looking for him?” “A witch named Yaga sent us to meet him for some reason she did not say, though I assume now it is the problem with Varaemon.” “Ahhh, so this is one of her whims is it, very well” The old grey haired centaur stood, “I am the Rakun the witch has mentioned and please come inside so we may discuss important matters.” You agreed and learned that the centaurs living quarters were rather clean, neatly polished books old war paraphernalia was hung on the walls, but he asks to follow him to the dining room where you all could discuss what you came for.
>>
>>628277

“If you all came from Yaga that means that she wishes to finally see this issue resolved.” “This has to do with Varaemon and the sprouting chieftains?” “Yes, glad that you know this much, but to understand you have to hear the story.” Rakun takes a deep breath closes his eyes and begins, “As you can guess lord Varaemon is the most powerful chieftain but he is an outsider that came into our lands and overthrew me. How did an outsider manage that?” The old centaur snarled, ““Trickery that is how!” He was a human who arrived three years ago while I was in power” You stopped his story abruptly, “Did you say, human?!” “Yes, a child who looks about your age actually.” Great… “Please continue”

Alright then, “This human had an odd way of words and managed to sneak himself into the family of the head of the clan. It is a little complicated on how this system works but basically they are the old rulers and founders who hold sway over the politics of the clan, while I was the war chieftain who handles military matters. Which admittedly is a large part of centaur lifestyle. He convinced the noble family that I was conspiring against them and holding back the clan due to my dislike of expansionism. The young man wanted me dead but I had too much history with the clan and they exiled me. After that, the clan began a campaign of rapid expansionism with military might. The other local clans are standing up to him but are so far failing due to a discrepancy in military might.” Yeah, you remember that army. "Worse though is that he has a rather aggressive personality that thrives on dominating others. Which doesn’t help his image. He keeps stamping out these rivals but we centaur are a proud people and more and more are rising up against Varaemon to stop him. Something didn’t quite make sense. “If he was so hated Rakun, why did the clan follow him. Firstly it is because of an ancient prophecy that told of an outsider that would come and bring our clan ever lasting prosperity. Because of his words his ability to swoon the heart of the noble’s young daughter, the clansmen feel honor bound to their ancestors and follow the prophecy” The old centaur pauses, “Clearly some feel that his is only leading them to inevitable ruin and are fighting back. But they are hopelessly outnumbered.” That is some crazy sense of honor and mysticism.
>>
>>628285

“But how do we proceed from here? Varaemon seems to control an incredibly powerful army and clan and they may be threatened by outsiders.” “Your options are a physical confrontation but he has a slew of chief's guards at his disposal and he would immediately use one of the champions which would make personal duels difficult.”

“fufu,” Rozalin giggles and you turn your attention toward her, “From what I understood his authority is largely given to him by his connection to the noble family. In which case, if he was our enemy all we would need to do is turn them against him.” “Yes Rozalin, but how?” “fufu, the heart of a maiden is a fickle thing… If we take this noble woman away from him it’s over. And you have quite the way with words dear…” “What are you suggesting?” “What if you steal this woman from him?” “What?! Are you saying I should try to whisk away a man's fiance?” “That is exactly what I am saying. As a woman I know that our hearts can be swayed, if this woman breaks off her connections to this man because she is seeing someone else, and if that someone else is you an outsider that may also fulfill their sacred prophecy then his power base would crumble around him.” She suggestively runs her hand down her torso, “But it may require a particularly seductive charm, which I could help you with if you want.” The old man laughs. “To defeat a trickster with trickery? It is all too fitting!”

You think you should try to talk to these people first like usual but if Vareamon is every bit the piece of work he is being made out to be then maybe you should plan on facing him in some way.

>Make Rozalin do the seduction since she is almost a centaur anyway.
>>
>>628296
Let us first ask some questions. More info from Rakun would be good before making a decision.

First let us ask him about any further info he has about Varaemon. Also any info on the old rulers and founders. It might be easier to talk to them then Varaemon. Convince them that Varaemon is bad so that he is removed.
We should also ask what would happen if Varaemon was removed from power and if Rakun desires to reclaim his position as war chief.
>>
>>628308
This.

We already have Aki and Yuki. Also acording to those books seduction of a centauress would be a lot of effort.

>>628313

But more information first would not hurt.

Do we have any fast way to contact Yaga?
>>
>>628330
Not that I know of. We only have easy communication with Auriel.
>>
>>628339

We could request something to turn Varaemon into a centauress once we defeat him. That way we will remove him as a future problem.

That is a lot to mull over. Rozalin would be better at her seduction game she is planning but before making any rash decisions it might be best to ask some clarifying questions.

“Rakun, is there anything else you can tell us about Varaemon?” The old centaur grunts, “Besides he is a cruel boy, with a deceptive tongue no. The only one who may know more about him would be the noble daughter he is set to marry. He didn’t reveal any info on himself other than confirming he was the outsider that would lead them to prosperity.” “Hmmm, what about the old rulers and noble founders what do you know about them,” “Plenty!” Rakun says with enthusiasm, “They have been the same continual line of rulers since the clan's conception nearly 500 years ago. They are incredibly mystic as historically they were the original prophets of the gods. Despite being the voices of the gods they are fair, balanced and overall rather pleasant. War life is long among their tribe and as such, they act as conduits of the gods that lead the centaurs into war. However, the family has been unable to produce a son and I took over the position of chieftain being the most experienced war veteran at the time. However with Varaemon they now believe he is the outsider that will marry into the family and lead in my stead.” Rakun cups his face with his palm, “I just hope this all doesn’t end in ruin.”

One final question, “Rakun would you like your job back if we can remove Varaemon from power?” “If it would help the clan certainly! But it depends on what the noble family will have to say once everything was over.”

You look back again over to Rozalin now that your questions you were certain that her seduction method would be the way to go and she would be far better at it than you would be. But did these answers make you feel any different on that? You’re not sure.

Centauress seem hard to please and we dislike doing the seduction route to manipulate people, even if we do it when we have to.
>>
>>636514
>Rozalin goes for seduction

"Since you do look a lot like a centauress, save for the horns, you seem like the right woman for the job. Also I would feel like trash if I seduced someone for personal reasons and not love or at least atraction. I did it once with that damn spider woman and I still feel unclean for doing that even if it was to save everyone lives."
>>
By the way, how long until we level up? And will we get older if we level up? I don't want us looking even older than we already do.
>>
>>636644
Ditto. I don't want us to keep having acelerated aging after the effort we did to deal with our two curses. Heck it seems even Mother can't talk to us anymore by how strong we got mentally. Or maybe that's Kagehana interference?
>>
>>636563
>>636568

“Rozalin I think we should go with your plan, but you should do the seducing, you’re far more adept than I am and you look like a centaur anyways, minus the horns.” “Fufu” the bicorn chuckles, “And I thought I would finally get to teach you some things.” “I appreciate the thought.” But you don’t, “But I would honestly feel like crap for seducing someone for personal reasons, I already did it once and it was awful.” *sigh* “Fine I will play this role for you. but where do we begin?” The seductive bicorn asks.

Rakun enters the conversation, “If you are concerned about getting close then you would have no problem if you said you were paying respects to the great chieftain Varaemon. After getting in it would be hard to know where to start.” The old centaur thinks, “There is a woman named Rita who was my attendant and handmaiden for the noble family. I worked with her for years so maybe you can start by talking with her. If anyone knows the bride to be it would be her.”

“Thanks, Rakun.”

Sounds like you have a way in but you were being watched and if they know you are here then they would diffidently question you.

You look to your best friend, “Yuki, we need disguises again.” “On it!” She jumps up, grabs Anna and begins brainstorming. “What if we went with ghosts…. NO! Kitsunes! Brillant, Taka we’ll just dye a different color…” Taka’s ears stiffened, “You’re going to do what?!” “Shhhhhhh” Yuki hushed Taka, “I am designing right now.” Taka gives a both confused and mildly afraid glance. You place your hand on her shoulder, “I know, I know.” You knew Yuki was up to the task and you were confident in what she would be able to put together for you.

Rakun looks amused, “So you will add further layers of deception?” “We have to,” you respond, “They already know about us traveling in this region and they will treat us differently if we were just humble travelers looking to pay homage to the “Great” Varaemon.” “Haha, no doubt!” The old centaur scratches his beard, “Alright human I wish you luck.” “Thank you, and thanks again for all the info you gave, it truly does help us a lot.” “That’s all this old man is good for at the moment, haha. Well that and keeping the books from collecting dust.” He laughs as he picks up his book from earlier.

You hear a loud yell, “Everyone! It is finished!” Yuki announced as she and Anna presented her second disguise masterpiece. It seems this time instead of a slaver angle you are going for mysterious foreigners as everyone is themed around Wa. You, Yuki, and Taka would be kitsunes. Taka a different shade of one anyways. Victoria and Anna would be corresponding blue and red Oni. Rozalin will serve as your mount to make your groups seem more important and the imps will be guised in their ninja cloth and hide from invisibility. Aki being the odd one out in the theme would be wrapped once again in bandages. In Yuki’s defence if fit the desert theme and disguising a Basilisk is no easy feat.

“Again?” Victoria raised her brow as most of your friends sigh in a combined minor annoyance.” “Come on everyone. This will be over before you know it!” At leats you hope so. Once you are all properly set up and dressed you thank Rakun one final time for his help. The centaur waves with a “Good luck” as you make your way to the centaur camp northeast of here.”

As you get closer you are approached by a group of centaurs.

“Halt travelers, you are approaching the main camp of Chieftain Varaemon, state your business.” You give a small bow, which was the best you could do on top of Rozalin, “Varaemon is here? Wonderful, we came, in fact, to pay homage and tribute to the new great centaur leader. "Hmmm, very well then, but you will for now be watched as outsiders. Varaemon will see you after contingent checks you out. You are surrounded quickly but an escort of guards who begin to look you up and down. Thanks to Yuki's design skills you were very convincing kitsune and entourage. One of your guards speaks up, "That is some pretty fancy weapons for travelers." "Ohh, you humble me these are rather basic weapons from our homeland. We tend to have a flair for intricate design." "So it seems..." The centaur turns away and looks forward. Rozalin flashes the guard a pleasant and enticing smile as he does so.

"You are being led to a large tent and as you get close the center of the camp's population reveals itself along the main road. Sand swept across the entire camp as a light wind felt almost constant. There was a smell a fire that seemed to grow stronger as you approached the tent and soon you found out why. When you came before the tent you saw that there was a huge open circular area with a large brazier to the side. The circular area was surrounded by centaurs who looked at the new visitors and began to whisper amongst themselves. Victoria looked annoyed at all this attention and jerked about from time to time. Thankfully Anna was there to hold her in place. On the other side of the open area, you saw an elevated platform connected by a short flight of stairs. On the platform were two figures one, a beautiful centauress with a gorgeous azure veil around a simple dress. Still, the veil was all she needed to stand out from the rough leather equipment most other centaur women were wearing. To the left of her was a simpler looking centaur woman in a modest white robe. To the right of the elegant centaur was a human boy holding his arms crossed. He looked rough, tumble and well built for his supposed age of 15.

"Chieftan Varaemon." The front guard kneels before the platform. "Travelers have come to pay tribute to your greatness." The chieftain scoffs, "Of course they would. but simple travelers are a nuisance right now." he waves his hands, and annoyingly says "Let them say hi and get them out quickly!" The centaur nods and motions for you to step forward.

You dismount from Rozalin and respectfully take a knee in the chieftains presence. “Chieftain Varaemon we are emissaries from the distant land of Aw.” Taka perks up at that but you keep your head steady toward the little chieftain. “We have come due to how great we heard Varaemon was and we wish to learn him and his lands while asking permission to stay for some discussions between the two nations. The boy looks annoyed and rolls his eyes, “Well we if you are aware of me then you should know that we are in the middle of a rebellion and don’t have time to entertain travelers. As chieftain, my duties require me to be on the battlefield constantly. If you wished to talk then we must do so at a later date.” after a moment a slightly fiendish smile appears on his face, “Well if you can contribute funds to the war effort. I mean you an emissary of a kingdom surely you brought gifts?” “Uhhhhhh….”

While these talks were taking place Rozalin was making occasional looks at the gorgeous centauress. And is making more gestures to the woman next to her.

You hesitate for a second, “I mean… we have a couple of extra jewels, will that be adequate?” “Depends, how big are they?” It takes all your power not to frown as you think “Man this guy is a jerk.” You search the pack you keep with Rozalin for travel and find a few of Adrian’s beloved jewels. Holding them makes you space out for a moment as you briefly think about the quirky boy. You shake your head and turn to present the jewels to Varaemon, who looks to be tapping his foot impatiently. “Chieftain Varaemon, I offer a humble gift on behalf of our people in hopes that we may be able to talk.” The young chieftain waves his hand and a guardsman walks over to examine your gifts. “They are real Chieftan.” he simply states. With a satisfied look on his face, the boy stands from his seat, “Excellent! You are welcome emissary of Aw and you may stay in our encampment to discuss treaties and the like! I will send our negotiator to you, but I will follow after her. For now enjoy yourselves…” The chieftain narrows his eyes at you for a moment, “...but as newcomers, you should know that violence and instigated trouble in my camp is forbidden and you will be held accountable if you are responsible for any such thing.” You nod your head in response, “Thank you for your hospitality honorable chieftain.”

Varaemon speaks, “If that is all, Azura,” He talks to the veiled centaur next to him, “I must go meet with the war council you should head back home.” The centaur nods but remains seated as Varaemon leaves the scene. Once the chieftain is gone the crowd that watched in silence began to move as the combined voices of hundreds began to drown out your surroundings. You sometimes heard gossip about you and your friends but you expected as much. You meet up with your friends as the crowd begins to disperse. “Rozalin, were you able to make any leeway?” The Bicorn explains, “I got the nobles attention briefly but from our distance, my charm magic will not work. The simple centaur next to her though seemed quite interested in our group. Her eyes scanned our entire group and I made eye contact more than once with her.” “It’s something.” you sigh as Yuki nudges you, “Hey, they are both still by the platform, maybe we can talk to one.” “Indeed, Rozalin added, though dear you are to meet with some representative and the chieftain in question shortly after.”

She’s right. Now is a great opportunity to approach them but if Varaemon learns that you prolonged your talks with his representative because you were speaking with his fiance things might get complicated.

"Rozalin... think you could influence the... simple centaur who was paying atention to us? She might know something useful. Also you will have to go for her alone to avoid suspicion. Since you are a monster girl, they will look the other way if you go to have some fun with a... commoner."
>>
>>644603
This works. Since we are being watched we can't send our ninja Imps with her.

Also we could play with Taka a bit since she is suposed to be our daughter.

“Hmmm, Rozalin do you think you could talk and influence the simple centaur next to Azura, I get the feeling she knows something.” “As do I.” she agrees. “You’ll have to go alone to avoid suspicion while I deal with the negotiator, if you need to get more info out of her you can play around if you wish.” “Hoho?” the bicorn haughly giggles, This is the second time now you have let me loose, what has gotten into you dear?” “Nothing, just taking advantage of what we can.” “Fufu, well I like it.” she chuckles as she turns her attention to her target and walks away.

You feel a tug on your lower shirt. “Onee-chan, do you want me to take a look around and spy while you talk?” You smile at her suggestion, “Nope.” She looks confused as you give her a hug. “Right now you are my daughter so we should play to keep up appearances.” “And spy passively.” “Sure.” you whisper as you sit down with your “daughter” You get an idea and pull out your vial of water. Practicing magic can be a form of playing and at the rate Taka was picking up it could prove good practice. You limit your water amount to only half of the vial to make your magic seem less threatening.

“Alright Taka just breathe and move,” you instruct while having Taka mimic your hand motions with the entangling water, “I know, I know” she sighed as the routine training regiment has been burned into her head. The water ebbed in flowed all around Taka as she closed her eyes. None of her hand motions and body language was wasted in enhancing her water dance. The light of the sun glistened off the water and reflected a dazzling array of lights onto the kitsune. Was this the beauty Anna saw that night when you practiced by yourself outside Shirabu castle? You could only assume so.

You were entranced by Taka’s dance but reality once again hit you as you heard a voice from behind you. “Umm.. miss emissary from Aw?” “Ohh, yes, sorry.” You catch yourself, turn around and apologize. The figure in question was a centauress who had her hair neatly combed, dressed in what you assumed to be centaur formal cloth wear. It was much like the simple centaurs outfit only with blue embroidered patterns around the wrists and abdomen. She also appeared to be wearing glasses, which she adjusts, before continuing her question, “Am I interrupting miss emissary?” “Oh heavens no, my daughter wanted to play while waiting for you to arrive, I apologize for getting too carried away.” As a professional, she sighs, “As long as we are able to discuss relations then it is alright, though I think your daughter might be in trance.” Indeed she was, she was swaying as if she could not hear anyone or anything, she got a little too into it. So you just whisper. “I have to go, Taka, please be safe.” You stand up and ask your friends to watch the kitsune while you talk to the representative.

“You began to walk with the centaur who looked to be wanting to give you a tour during your discussions. Although a tour would be helpful you had no idea what to say in these discussions.

>Try to guide her behind some thick tents to gain an “advantageous negotiating position”

While you will probably have to apologise to Aki and Yuki... since the time you bounded Kagehana to you you feel... way more willing to take options that deal with sex. Is like you gained an.. understanding of monster girls you lacked before.

You wonder if Kagehana is feeding from lust and sex hence why you feel slighty more... open minded about things like that.

Well if that's the case, then at least is not making people miserable. If it isn't, you blame your teen hormones.

Yes, let's do this.

You could try and bullshit your way through this or spin it to your advantage but maybe it will be easier to talk to her if you had a more “Private” connection.

“And here we see one of the many rally fields in the camp next to the residential dens, All our rally points are next to residential housing so that mustering of militia forces would be as fast as possible.” Your negotiator turned guide seemed enthusiastic on giving you the play by play on centaur camp architecture. “Fascinating.” It wasn’t but the more she talked the more you had time to think on how to drag her away. You got it. “Miss, is it possible to see some of the more private districts? My people have a large culture around privacy and I was just curious.” “Well, such a place exists but it is generally used for the chieftains and nobles.” “Wonderful, the chieftain was intending on meeting me after our talks so it should be easier to find me in a private sector.” “Well, yes but it can be a rather confusing district to navigate due to the hilly area it is built on.” Even better. You pressure her, “That should be no issue in fact it gives us the chance to talk without unwanted ears of the rebellious centaurs from listening in.” The centaur fumbles for words, “I uhhh... . ummm… guess so?” Sweet.

Your guide leads you to the private area restricted for top level nobles and military officials. But with a war going most of the military officials would be off. After finding a secluded area within the secluded area you begin your “talks.” “Now I must ask,” she starts, “What do you hope to accomplish here for your people?” “I was largely hoping to get to know you a bit more actually.” “Me?” she recoils slightly, “But we are having talks between nations here.” “Yes but I had no idea that I would have to do so with such a beautiful woman such as yourself, plus I feel getting to know each other better would make talks go… smoother.” You begin to speak more with your body language than with your words. You run your hands purposely across your body to draw attention to your feminine features. You never thought you would be grateful to Rozalin the way you are now. You could tell by the gazes toward your breasts that she was at least curious. But she pushes her glasses back into place of her flush face. “I-I fail to see the p-point of what you are talking about, w-we should return to the discussion at hand.”

She was being affected but her dedication to her job was astounding. You feel a small voice in your head, “Onee-chan.” “Kagehana?” you think back. “I know what you are doing and I can help. Just let me have her for a minute and she will be all over you.”

>Let Kagehana solve the situation

"Just out of curiosity my little shadow, are you the reason I became way more open minded about sex? It can't just be hormones... right?"
>>
>>645160
Yeah why not? Better than our shadow sister feeding from making people miserable.
>>
>>645160
>>645172

"Kagehana? are you feeding off of lust or something? Are you the reason I feel more open about these sexual encounters for something?" You thought that it just might be your hormones which kind of makes sense, but recently things have been escalating far past what mere hormones were capable of. The shadow thinks, "I am not sure how it works but I think I gain power and influence with strong emotions or something. when I was haunting you I fed off your fear and increased your perception of it. But that was just natural to me." She shrugged, "If I am right then I suppose I am doing the same with strong feelings of lust. I wish I could help but I still don't know exactly what I am." "Huh, well theories aside you can go for it." "On it Onee-chan."

The next instant your shadow warped and enwrapped both you and the centaur. "W-What is this?!" She panics and frantically asks, "Who... Who are you?" "Just an emissary seeking some answers." She begins to pant, "I... I..." her face turns multiple shades of red, sweat is falling from her face and her eyes analyze you as she slowly starts to undress. Shadow hands were assisting her and gently caressed her figure. "Give it to me..." she asked as she came barreling at you." "you were surprised at her sudden aggressiveness but compared to Aki this was nothing. She sloppily kissed you and her hands began to move to undress you. "Kagehana give me a hand' you think to your shadow as you push the centaur off you and onto her back. This time, you mount her and begin to slowly take off your close while pinning her down. She may have been more aggressive but you still needed to be in control.

This time, you kissed and invaded her mouth while your hands began to group her large breasts. She started to moan as both you and Kagehana work her. As you move from her mouth to her neck she starts to ask weakly, "Give it to me... now... Just... please." She begged as Kagehana's tendril rubbed the centaurs lower half. "I'm sorry," you tease, "I can;t hear exactly what you want when you talk like that." She tries again in a slightly louder voice, "I want you to.. do me." you pretended not to hear and pulled away from your foreplay. "No!" she yelled, "Don't stop! Just fuck me please!" "Maybe." You and your shadow stop your physical assault. "WHAT?! PLEASE DON'T STOP!" she screams as you two continue to pin her underneath yourself. "I would be more inclined to give you what you want if you gave me what I wanted." "What do you want?! I'll give you anything, anything!"She begs for an answer.

Well...

"Your human chief, tell me all his weakness. And I want you to get me to see Azura. Swear you will get me that and we will give you more pleasure you ever had before."

This.

"After all he is just a human anyway. Wouldn't he better if he was turned into a centauress and taught her place?"

“Hmph, weaknesses” you loft yourself above the poor woman. Tweaknesses of Varaemon, and get me an audience with Azura. If you do this then I will give you more pleasure than you ever had before.”

“I c-c-can’t…” She meekly responded, “Then I am afraid we’ll end here.” You stand up and pretend to try and leave. “No, wait! I uhhh, I uhhh… I’ll do it!” “Oh?” you sit onto of your prey once again. “Varaemon is has a fondness for material wealth, if you promise him fortunes you might be able to convince him to do reckless things.” “Anything else?” “Uhhh, he is crazy love with Lady Azura and is overprotective.” “Continue.” “Ummm, Ummm,” She seems to be struggling for an answer, “He uhhh, hates eating vegetables?” You had a blank stare at her words, “... … …” “T-T-That’s all I know. Azura might know more but I promise to get you an audience!” “You better.”

You twist her nipple to enforce your position of dominance. She yelps in both pain and pleasure. You do the same to her other breast and begin kissing the centaur. She squirms under you but Kagehana is doing a good job of keeping her in place. Your hands start to caress her body again as shadow tendrils rub against the woman. After a few minutes, she seems to be completely out of it as you attack her top half and Kagehana her bottom. Her body grew limp and surrendered itself to you and your lovely shadow. She moaned with intensity, so much that you held her mouth closed with your own to prevent anyone from hearing it. The sweat coming from both of your bodies mixed and rolled across your delicate skin. This time, unlike with Yuki or Aki you kept your mind together and were able to break the centaur in no time. After what felt like 30 minutes the centaur negotiator laid naked on the ground behind a noble tent as you dressed.

Her glasses were crooked and her arms sprawled out as the grass absorbed the moisture falling from her body. “Good work Onee-chan.” Your shadow says in your head. “You too, thanks for the help.” You finish putting on your clothes and double check to make sure all your Kitsune parts stayed in place. Thankfully they did, though the ears look slightly off-kilter. While adjusting you hear a voice nearby. “No I don’t care, just find out if they have more money. And if we can get them to going the military effort than do it. Maybe we’ll get lucky and they turn out to be loaded.” Another responds, “Yes, lord Varaemon.”

“Varaemon?”

"Kagehana, can you puppet that centauress body out of here? And don't forget her clothes!"

Then

>You had a meeting with him anyway, might as well start now with a friendly hello

No sence in getting that poor girl in trouble.
