You went to grab your assigned fillets of human flesh, and rushed up to Thirteen, who was sleeping on a mattress on the floor.

You carefully shook his shoulder, trying to wake him up.

He nudged your hand away. "...Just let me sleep" he muttered, annoyed.

"It's me, Blake." you clarified, as you ate the fillet. "It's important."

"...Blake?" he then said, and opened his eyes groggily.

"Graham has plans for us tomorrow." you said. "He wants us to go to the Hospital and get stuff."

"Holy fucking shit." he replied. That woke him up. "The fucking Hospital? Dude, when did he tell you this?"

"Just now." you replied. "I was going to negotiate with him for something instead of Juana's ovaries, and this came up."

"Christ." he then muttered.

"What's so bad about the Hospital?" you asked.

"Everyone wants stuff from the Hospital" he explained. "We're going to get some fucks right outside telling us to get stuff for them, or they'll kill us. Or some fucks trying to steal the stuff we've gotten when we try to leave the place. Or whatever other bullshit people feel like pulling off over there."

"And you've got the most weirdass Eaters in there too." he added. "The whole Hospital is a fucking party, you know?"

"We could try to trade with the Hospital mafia people." he said, after some silence. "But... Fuuuuuck their prices are high. We don't have anything really interesting or valuable to trade with them."

"Damn" you replied, as you finished eating your serving of human flesh.

"Thanks for telling me." Thirteen said. "I'll sleep on this. I hope we can figure out something good."

You nodded. "No problem, man."

---*---

You woke up early in the morning. Graham apparently hadn't relayed the order yet, but Thirteen was awake as well, sitting in one of the Stadium's seats, alone. He had his elbows on his knees, his hands together in a fist, and his mouth rested on them, staring into the grass of the central field.

You went up to him, and asked about what he was thinking about, but he replied that he didn't know. He told you he thinking about was how to deal with the Hospital mafia, or avoid them, and get into the Hospital, but that so far, that angle seemed pretty fucked.

>Try to convince Graham to delay the mission, or at least, assign it to a different squad.
>Go check on Chugger, as per the task Graham had given you, because today was going to be a big day for her.
>Ask Graham for something you could use as trade for the Hospital mafia. Ask him to to help you help him.
>Propose to Thirteen to split from the Stadium and form a new gang somewhere else. You could leave on Graham's mission, but never actually return.

We'd need to find a way to bring Juana along with us. Can't be leaving her with Graham.

As much as I'd like to split off we wouldn't last very long without if we don't have somewhere defensible to stay.

>>659213
Splitting would be extremely dangerous and possibly not worth it, but we could at least suggest it to Thirteen. Also,

I'd just really like to know why juanas ovaries are such a big deal.
Especially to know if its important enough that graham would chase us for them
>>
>>659295
maybe the operation only works with organs from humans who are non-eaters?
>>
>>659295
Chugger is getting them. She's going to be Graham's source of babies, from which he will harvest stem cells which he will grow into any organ he want/consume whole to repair his body and attain post-human status

am I close, OP?
>>
>>659295
i imagine chugger is going to be pumping out babies and needs level 10 ovaries.
>>
>>659302
If this were the case then I think it'd only be fair if juana got some major priority for some of them organs.
>>
>>659314
We're all flawed and dangerous, and we can't be trusted to be taken into the new world Graham is building.

Or maybe I trust Graham too little. But I don't think he intends anything good for anyone but himself.
>>
>>659302
oh hoho Thats a good theory there, just keep having kids and keep eating the best parts from them
>>
After Graham officially relayed the task to him, you propose the idea of forming a new gang with Thirteen, but he quickly counters you.

"Dude, I've been thinking about it too." he said. "But what about the people, man? They're probably going to want to stay here. It's safer, it's a bigger group, and Graham's a doctor. What can I give them that can compete with that? And even if they do choose to come with, do they deserve worse just because I don't like the old guy?"

"But hey. If you figure something out, I'm all aboard." he said. "Count on me man."

---*---

You go to check on Chugger. You could see that she was awake and getting to her regular spot to gorge herself, but as you approached her, she blushed and looked aside flusteredly.

Regardless, you sat near her again as last time, and started to eat the breakfast bread that everyone else in Thirteen's squad was given.

"How's it going, Chelsea?" you asked.

"Doing alright." she replied in a meager, but excited voice, as she lowered her head.

Then she looked at you.

"Y-You're super brave!" she suddenly exclaimed.

You blinked.

"I... I've seen how you talk to Thirteen, and G-Graham!" she added. "And Juana!"

"You-You're so cool!" she concluded.

"Ah, well. Uhm, thank you." you chuckled. "I just try my best."

Chugger nodded, and then started to try to say words, but nothing came out for a moment.

"W-Why aren't you in charge!" she then suddenly said. "Thirteen doesn't talk to people like you do. Y-you would better!"

"Ah, well, I think Thirteen's doing a pretty great job and - "

She shook her head. "No, nono. You would do better. You would also get a bigger cut." she then gently pinched your forearm. "Y-you would grow more too."

She didn't stop pinching.

"You would grow nice and big" she added.

"I-I can talk to Graham" she then said. "Let me help you!"

Then?
>Go ask the rest of Thirteen's group about how they would feel about leaving the Stadium for good.

"Sorry, but no." you replied. "Thirteen is doing great where he is."

She pouted and looked aside.

"What." you asked.

She turned to you. "I still think you should eat more!"

"Well, the cuts are the cuts, you know." you shrugged.

"I-I'll get you more. A-And then, when you're the strongest, you'll be the best, and you'll become leader." she said.

"I'm telling you that I'm not going to replace Thirteen." you insisted.

"But you know that you're better than him!" she replied. "Y-You're so much better, Blake!"

"Not happening."

---*---

You continued to eat your bread, and there was some silence until you leaned in to talk again.

"Hey, Chelsea." you started off. "About... The world. And eating people. What do you think about that?"

"It's... Wrong." she said. "But... we don't have a choice. We have to eat to survive now."

"But I don't want this to go on forever." she continued. "I hope it ends soon. I want everything to go back to normal."

"But I just don't know what to do." Chugger concluded. "So I just try to help where I can."

You nodded.

"Just get down what you can, if you cant eat any more ya cant eat any more" you tell Chugger. "Don't worry about it."

She nodded in response.

"O-Okay."

"Also. Graham has plans for you. Tonight you'll have to come with me to him." you notify her.

"R-Really? For what?" she wondered, pretty excited.

"We'll see." you replied, actually not entirely sure yourself either. However it made you very uncomfortable to guess about the possibilities because of what you knew about Graham's track record with his experiments.

---*---

It was time to go to the Hospital with the rest of Thirteen's squad. During the trip there, Juana was rather popular in the group, being often talked to or asked questions about who she was, where she came from, and how she lost her arm. You could also hear on the sidelines how some of them were relieved that Thirteen's was that little bit less of a sausage fest now, and some even came up to you with the joke that you should recruit more girls.

Thanks to that you moved in a huge group, finding and avoiding the huger threats was easy, and even when you did meet some of the sneakier wild Eaters, intimidation from numbers alone was enough to dissuade them.

---*---

You arrived at the Hospital, and you could see that people had built small bases into the houses nearby by barricading doors, adding spikes, and other defenses. You met up with a lady Thirteen said he knew, a tall, stoic-looking woman called Alyona.

"We'd like to go in the Eastern sid-." Thirteen started off.

"East side obvious, caht to the chase, Thirteen." she interrupted, in a dense slav accent.

"Simple entry and exit." he continued. "We're going to get surgical equipment. Uh, midwifery stuff. A set of tools for giving birth and stuff. Also morphine, and then leave."

"A whole set? Okay. You sure you want to go in? No trade? I have. Give me two of your men. And then the stuff is yours. Better give them to me than have them die in Hospital, no?"

"Let's discuss the trip first."

(cont)
>>
"How meny people."

"Four." Thirteen replied.

"You're johking. You're bringing in ten, because you'll also bring me beck the Da Vinci surgery machine."

"The what?"

"The Da Vinci. Robot machine, very high tech, very valuable. Don't breck, or I'll breck your surgical equipment, morphine, and bones, yes?" she explained, and showed a drawing of a closet-sided machine with multiple arms.

"Alyona, come on. We're friends, right? Can't you cut me some slack?"

"Yes, we're friends. That's why I trust you to bring the Da Vinci. Special friend request for you. Others will put higher price for what you're looking for."

Thirteen sighed heavily.

"Alright. Let me think about it." he concluded.

---*---

Thirteen and the rest of you went outside to consider and discuss. As you talked, it was made clear that the less people you put in the hospital, the better, because of the dangers inside. Additionally, the hospital was guarded on every side, and the main viable entrances were guarded and controlled by its particular mafia. Unauthorized entry or exit was typically met with a brutal beating up or straight up killing, however the mafiosos never actually entered the hospital, so once you were inside, if you did so 'illegitimately', you were in the clear. About two men were always on guard at each door (five doors in total), with an annexed community in a building nearby with about a dozen more to back them up. Thirteen resorted to you for a tiebreaking decision about how to proceed.

>Try to sneak into the hospital, each from different locations, and then meet up inside.
>Beat up the mafiosos to enter, beat up the mafiosos to exit. As a group, you were about double the amount an individual mafia community was.
>Accept Alyona's deal.
>Try to arrange a trade of some kind with Alyona so that you don't have to enter the hospital to get the goods.

You decide along Thirteen to attempt entering by sneaking in.

"We're going to have to be you, me and two more. the redhead pointed out. "We've both eaten Adrenal, and we should get the next two stealthiest guys. "

"You've practiced, haven't you?" he asked. "The Adrenaline."

"Uh... No." you admitted. "I hadn't had time."

"Well you're going to have a great time inside to practice." she muttered to you.

---*---

Thirteen gathered you, one of his men, and Juana, because her small size was actually useful in this case.

"The Hospital isn't like other places" he underlined. "You don't fight in here - you fucking run. Got it? If you try to fight one guy, you're going to have ten more of them arriving for a gangbang."

"The Eaters here aren't very quick." he continued. "But they're many."

---*---

The others in Thirteen's group had assembled on strategic locations around the hospital to cause a ruckus and draw attention - they were going to fake going in and entertain the mafiosos as they gave them the initial reprimanding as the rest of you attempted to slip in through openings in the barricaded windows.

You'd all agreed to meet at the hospital's main reception area. After Thirteen suggesting for Juana to go with him for the sake of protection, you all set off to attempt to enter through your designated areas.

---*---

You managed to slip in through a window, however, you do so slowly and you stumbled into the hallway - attracting the attention of a massive Eater in the process, who was so big that his body reached the roof and the floor, effectively acting as a sort of blockade with little to no space to spare, and he had to move by dragging himself around.

You quickly looked around. You were at a ward of some kind, with rooms on the sides with overturned beds and blood smears everywhere. The Eater was between you and perpendicular corridor further ahead which would lead you to the reception. However, nearby you had a staircase which lead to the upper floor. Thirteen had told you how to reach the reception from your entrance from the group floor - just going straight, then down the corridor to the right, and you're there - but you didn't know how the upper floors where like, in case you would take the staircase. However, you did know that the entire location had generally all the same kind of threats - Eaters. The massive Eater was slowly approaching as well, so if you did take the staircase, you might not be able to return back if he reached it.

>Go upstairs.
>Try to draw the attention of the Eater to chase you, then enter a room, and try to wait out until he passes your room, somehow.

I'd like to know the extent of intelligence eaters this big have.
Lets try... nicely asking him if he needs help getting out or something? A place like this, with as big as he is, means he's going to get torn apart from behind should any eaters come that way. I don't reckon he wants to be in here all that much, all the factors considered.

You decide to go upstairs. There, you saw a man in the hallway with a paper mask and a doctor's uniform, facing a certain room. The other rooms which had the doors just bared closed seemed to have Eaters inside of them, massively warped with massive growths and deformations, moaning and walking into walls

However, the room the masked man was staring at was closed, and you could hear coherent, although muffled arguing between a man and a woman, especially remarks about "stop being so loud" and "lower your voice".

The man just stood here, chuckling now and then.

(OOC: The crossbow has been left with Mary.)

>79

You decide to enter one of the rooms populated by deranged Eaters. Within, by creeping slowly, you discover by observing them that the two that were within were half-blind. The amount of deformed flesh had warped their faces in such a way that their eyes were either obscured or entirely covered. Seeing how difficult it was to recognize their nose and ears, you assumed that the same went for the rest of their senses.

Then, one of them bumped into the other, and they suddenly burst out punches and lashes at each other, but after a short clumsy quarrel and moaning, they stopped, as they seemed to try to cover the mouth of the other.

Then, they continued wandering aimlessly.

Carefully, you wandered past them and tried to retrieve anything you could.

The beds and furniture were all a mess, but when you opened the cupboards, the insides where visibly shaken around, but otherwise immaculate. There was a small box labelled as painkillers and a bottle of sleeping pills inside, which have been already opened, and about half of the pills of each were missing. From before the apocalypse, you assumed, given their otherwise clean and untouched status.

You scratched your chin as you looked around the room. Being so blind and uncoordinated, they couldn't actually reach to get this stuff, couldn't they?

Then, further ahead, you could hear a faint yelling and groaning, which slowly became louder and louder. It was a sort of chain reaction, from the sound from the initial point, more and more roars were heard from throughout the building, each time reaching farther and each time louder.

"OOHOOO, IT BEGINS!" you could then hear a clear, male voice cheer - given from where you heard it, you assumed it to be the man from before, and then some scuttering.

One of the Eaters in your room also bellowed, and started to try to clumsily run out of the room, as the other seemed to notice as well, but then ignored the commotion entirely.

You sneaked back to the hallway, to find that the masked man was gone. The door he was "guarding" was also slightly open, and you could glimpse someone peeking out to you, but then it suddenly shut.

You heard a muffled voice, and then another saying "I dunno. Some guy."

>Run and go check what all of the fuss is about down the hallway.
>Go back downstairs to see if the blockade-Eater has left, to continue off to the reception.

You decide to try to approach the door. You could hear thrashing around and fighting further ahead, presumably from the ruckus you heard earlier.

You could hear some more muttering from a higher-pitched voice, and then a lower one whisper loudly "Human. Doesn't look like an Eater."

You approached the door, and knocked. "Hello?" There was a lot of shuffling around, and then you heard the deep voice from before talk to you.

"Who is it? What do you want?!" he boomed.

"...friendlier...!" you then heard the female voice hiss.

"I'm Andrew." he then said, affably.

"notthatfriendly...!"

"Do you want to talk!?" Andrew said back, under his breath.

"Blake." you replied.

"You're... Cool with me being, uh, an Eater?" he then asked. "I'm going to go out."

"Yeah. No problem as you don't, like, attack me, man." you replied.

He chuckled. "Ahh, don't worry. I don't want to fight you either."

---*---

The man exited the room, and closed the door behind him, leaving whoever was inside behind. He was very tall, at least more than 7 feet by your guesses, with a slightly enlarged forehead and prominent jaw. He was wearing glasses as well, but he put them into the breast pocket of his shirt as he met with you. There was what you noticed to be a small necklace with small wooden beads in there too, which he promptly and nervously tucked in better.

"So, you're stuck in here too, huh?" he then suddenly asked. "We've been in here for a day already, had to sleep inside there. Hard stuff."

"I came in just now, actually." you explained. "I'm looking to join up with my friends at the reception area."

"Join up?" he asked. "So, you came in here... alone?"

"Yeah." you replied. "How about you?"

"Uh, things. You know, we had to pay entry and everything." he mentioned, looking aside.

"Your friends, they're... Uh, how do I put this. What group are they from?" he asked, looking concerned.

"...How about you?" you countered.

"Independent!" he stated very stiffly.

"I'm from the Stadium" you admitted rather confidently.

"Oooh, the Stadium!" he cheered. "Really now?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, that's great! You know, it's safe and all, definitely better than being alone, you know." he added. "Think you can... Get us in?"

"Well, that's a bit heavy to ask for." you dismissed. You had just met them.

"Could we at least come with?" he then asked, and knocked the door behind him, and then opened it to reveal the girl behind, who was a ridiculously buxom chestnut-haired girl.

She rose a hand and wove it meagerly, as her eyes darted from you to Andrew, then back to you.

"Hello. Sofia." she introduced herself.

"Her too, please." Andrew requested, enthusiastically. "We... Don't have much time. You know it's really dangerous in here. C'mon."

You agree, and decide that they can come along. As you both ventured further ahead, you asked about the man that was in front of their door earlier, and Andrew quickly dismissed it.

"Some crazy guy." he said. "Wouldn't leave us alone."

You also brought up that there was a test for joining, and that they owed you a favor. The large man chuckled. "Well, if we can help you out too, we will, right?" he said, and then looked at the girl, who then nodded in agreement.

You arrived to a staircase that lead downwards again - you assumed it would lead to the reception area and you all quickly went through it, and finally reached the place.

It was full of Eaters with the masked man presiding them. Thirteen, Juana and that other guy were surrounded by a disperse crowd of the mutants. Thirteen was holding a bleeding arm, and Juana had a bleeding scratch across her left brow. They smiled in joy as they saw you, although they looked perplexed at the other two coming with you.

Then, the masked man turned to you.

"Ah! You've finally decided to Ah-rrrrive!" he said, and gestured his arms wide open. Then, he shook his finger in front of him and made a pouty voice. "Bewy bewy bad of you two to keep me waiting. I was starting to get leg cramps you know."

Then he jolted up in a leap.

"But I forgive you! Ahaha! I knew I would be finally able to persuade you. Happy da-!"

>>
An Eater bumped into him, and immediately started to leap onto him and groan, but he swiftly karate-chopped the nearest lump on its back. "It's me". The Eater immediately halted and retreated.

He then chuckled and elevated it into a huge laugh. "INDEED IT IS ME!"

Then he suddenly stopped, and faced you all seriously.

"Onto business, famiglia." he hoarsely announced as he imitated an italian accent. "la bonna mafia has brought to me these fine people, oh yes."

"However, today we have our SPECIAL GUESTS!" he added, and wove in your direction.

"No, you can't eat them, Billy." he then hissed to someone in the crowd. "Ah, you mean the other people? Yeah, I'm getting to that, hold on."

"Freaks should join freaks!" he then boomed. "Together, we are the PAAAAAaran-GON! OF! EVOLUTION!"

"This is your chance, friends." he said. "Join me, and capture these fine dishes for me.

"Or, just, die." he chuckled. "That's all there really is to it."

As the masked man made his overly elaborate speech, Thirteen had gestured to you towards an exit - another window with a breach in it. He also pointed to that he had gotten a bottle of something - morphine, you assumed, but when you made cutting gestures to indicate the surgical tools, he shrugged and tightened his lips together. He didn't have that yet.

Sofia and Thirteen had been looking at each other and communicating nonverbally as well. Andrew was shrugging and gesturing to you, Thirteen and the rest, as Sofia looked offended and pointed to Thirteen's exit. They didn't seem to come to an agreement.

You gestured for them to leave, and then pointed at yourself and then up.

Thirteen hissed "What the fuck, man?" but you insisted, and ran off.

---*---

You reached the upper floor, and immediately started to scour the rooms within, trying to find someplace promising. After rows of waiting rooms and offices, you reached a section titled "Woman's care", and after a while of searching, you found a supplies room. Within, you managed to quickly find several bags titled as "Midwifery kits", along newpaper cuts on a dusty corkboard about a recent rise in criminal activity related to fanatical cults, as well as a new plan set in place by the local hospital to teach key people how to tend a childbirth, due to a massive rise in distrust towards the doctors of the hospital.

---*---

You darted out, and managed to find a window which you could see Thirteen and the others waiting for you outside. Sofia was next a window on the ground floor, looking through it to see the inside.

"Jump!" Juana yelled, with Thirteen and his pal standing beside her, ready to catch you, and without thinking twice, you leaped out, and fell onto them, allowing them to dampen the impact.

"Glad to have you back, man." Thirteen said. "Although there's still business with this friend of yours."

Sofia turned to you, crying. "A-Andrew is still inside!" she pleaded. "H-He needs to come with!"

Thirteen butted in. "He also attacked us. We managed to get away because Mask-guy was giving him a chance."

"H-He doesn't know what he's doing!" she said. "And n-now they're going to eat him, for sure!"

"Because he didn't manage to get us which he chose to do." Thirteen said. "Important to point that out."

"P-Please give Andrew a chance!" Sofia begged you. "I'll talk to him! He will change, you'll see!

L-Let's go back, please Blake! Please forgive him!"

"The Mafia fuckers are going to notice we're here anytime now, if they haven't already." Thirteen noted. "We've got to move. I won't stop you from doing whatever the hell you want, but I'm not going back in there for him."

"You have thirty seconds to offer me a deal I have to accept." you tell her. "Go."

She looked at you, to the Hospital, then back at you.

"I-I don't have anything! I-I..." she said, as she started to break down into tears. "I...

...I-I'll b-be your s-slave.", she desperately stammered.

You inhaled through your teeth. "Aaah...Call it 'servant' or 'assistant', not 'slave'" you exhaled.

"F-For how long?" she asked. "I can do as long a yo-"

"One month should do." you interrupted. You really didn't have time for this, you really had to go in save this guy, one month was plenty anyway. You considered something related to her ovaries, but you figured you could settle those details later on, even easier so if she's supposed to be some kind of 'slave'.

You sighed deeply. "Deal?" you asked.

"D-Deal!" she agreed.

"Fucking hell, Blake." Thirteen then mentioned. "Give me the Kit, it'll weigh you down. C'mon, run!"

You tossed it to him, and immediately after, slid yourself right back into the Hospital through a crucial gape in the barricade.

"It's a real pity that I'm going to have to kill someone special like you, big guy." the Masked man said, as he surrounded Andrew with the Eaters. "Someone who could've belonged with us, but alas, you doubted. You weren't fully convinced."

You could him remove his glove, and then drag his hand with the other, causing it to stretch and bleed until he shaped it into a long spearhead. You noticed how it also quickly lost its natural fleshy color to quickly gain a whitish one, until his skin broke, resulting in a single massive sword-like protrusion.

"Flesh to bone, big guy." the masked man chuckled. "Going to feel great, you'll see."

Andrew stood his ground adamantly, and drew his fists.

You were behind them all, and due to their limited senses, none of the Eaters had noticed you yet, but there was a huge amount of them, all around Andrew.

You had to use it. The Adrenaline, just like Thirteen had used. You focused on the idea, on that flow of energy you had to feel, on fueling that imagery in your brain.

Then, in just that moment, something clicked.

Everything clicked.

You could see everything slow down. The yells and moans around you stretched out into a single agglomerate tone, as you leaped into the air to kick the masked man, then, slowly, everything started to accelerate again.

In a sudden flash, you instantly propelled him into a wall, causing his body to cause a small crater in the cement with a loud boom, and splatter into flesh confetti in the surrounding area. You landed on the ground, hopped a few times as you recovered your balance, and then looked back at Andrew, who just stared at you, dumbstruck.

"We're getting out of here." you told him, as you started to head toward the opposite direction of the impact.

"Y-y-you've come back for me?" he stuttered. "Y-y-y"

"Yes, come on! We don't have much time!" you exclaimed, and rushed to leave. The Eaters started to crowd around were the masked one landed, and started to moan and lurch towards the remains, attracted by the sound.

---*---

You both managed to get out, and rush back to the group who was returning back to the Stadium.

"S-So quick?" Thirteen asked, surprised.

"I figure out how to use the Adrenal" you chuckled. "Pretty amazing stuff, really."

"...So. Quick?" he repeated, eyes opening wider.

"I guess I have talent for this kind of stuff!" you laughed, still not entirely sure yourself how you managed to pull it off.

"Th-Thank you Blake!" Sofia then butted in, joyful and relieved, and went to grab your hand, and shook it repeatedly, and then kissed it as if you were royalty.

"It's ...really not that much, you don't need to-" your replied, but then, she kneeled in front of you, holding it above her head and her eyes were tight shut. "I-I will serve you well, Blake!" she said. "Y-you're a-an amazing person, you know that?!"

"You're welcome, but this... uhm. Stand up, Sofia. It's all good." you replied.

Obediently, she stood up, and nodded, and wiped some rouge tears off her face. "Okay Blake."

Andrew remained silent throughout the entire trip home. The sneers and whispered comments were constant, and they were all about him, along the occasional underhanded joke about the new girl's bust. It was pretty obvious that they considered Andrew to be a traitor, but they held back, because of you. They were more approachable with Sofia though, and during some small chat, you discovered that she and Andrew had been friends for a very long time, but she seemed to avoid the topic of how exactly they had met.

You arrived at the Stadium, and they both awaited their tests to become part of the group. Thirteen declined giving Andrew any service, so a different lead did it instead. Andrew proved quickly that he was pretty strong and resilient, allowing him to pass his test quickly, however, it was a different matter for Sofia. It was expected that, because of her size, it would be a piece of cake, however it was soon discovered that she was actually pretty much just as strong as Juana, which left many perplexed.

However, Graham seemed particular open about the idea of having her join despite that. He tried to bring up the excuse that because she was affiliated to you in the way she was, that as long as she used shared your space and your food, she could be given the same status as any other 'object'.

"We don't put any special rules on clothing or juice boxes" Graham underlined, as he spoke, trying to convince some others of the Stadium groups, a few of the which you recognized to be leaders of their own faction like Thirteen was. "Why should Sofia be given better treatment than that?"

"However, Blake." he then said. "If you'd like me to make a caveat like that, I need something important. Her ovaries. Promise me that, and I'll promise you her stay."

"My... Ovar...ies?" Sofia muttered. "I...but, why? Please, no! Please!"

"This obsession you have with ovaries is getting ridiculous. We'll get you ovaries in our hunts but taking them from our members when they've already passed tests is bullshit." you tell him.

His eyes slightly widen, and blinks, but appears otherwise unfazed.

"You've got to understand that it's for progress, Blake." he said, rising his chin and looking at you with a risen eyebrow. "You know how it is, right? Let's take Mary, for example. If it weren't for what I have done, she would've lost her humanity a long time ago. But you've seen her, haven't you? How she's different, how she is still whole, and with us."

You narrowed your gaze. "If having people with us is so important, then don't overlook the morale side of things." you underlined. You made a pause, and gave him a good look. "What you're asking for is a massive sacrifice, and on top of that, asking for it when they've already passed their test. Its starting to become not worth it to stay."

You leaned your head in with a knowing tilt. "Please. Reconsider, Graham."

He stood there, adamant, staring at you as much as you were staring at him.

"Very well, Blake." he then said. "I'll be generous, and let her stay, but note this: She isn't a member. She's purely your 'property'. Anyone else in the Stadium can freely attack and steal from her, and I won't say a thing. She will have no rights. If somehow she's torn into two, I'll make sure that she's given as much importance as a broken tissue paper, do I make myself clear, Blake?"

You nodded.

"Good." he replied, irritated with insatisfaction, and with solid yanks, pushed the wheels of his stair to turn around and leave.

After Sofia repeatedly holding the back of your hand with both of hers to her forehead, and sobbing gratitude, you were interrupted by Thirteen to go fetch your meal before it went cold. It was lunchtime.

You went to the 'kitchen' area and retrieved a bowl of ramen which had been enriched with diced meat (which you heard to be human), and fresh vegetables, along a plastic fork and spoon. You were also told by one of Thirteen's guys who also got his food late that a couple of you had been assigned to clean out an old storage room section of the Stadium after mealtime, by Graham.

You noticed that Chugger was in her regular spot, significantly larger than before, with a very dazed look on her face, and a pained expression as she continued to down more flesh. Andrew had been given food as well, and sitting alone, in a corner in the upper row of seats in the Stadium, and seemed to be picking out parts of the ramen bowl. Juana was chatting with Thirteen, both talking about their lives before the apocalypse, and how a lot has changed. Sofia was beside you, her gaze darting around the place often, nervously, but when you looked at her, she smiled with some relief.

"Ah, I don't want any food" she then told you, looking at the bowl.

"Are you sure?." you asked. You knew the value of food - you needed the energy to have the stamina to fight, run, and do all the crazy shit you had to pull off. And Sofia, just like you, would likely need the same.

"Ah, well, maybe just a brocoli or noodles? You can have the meat." she nervously stated. "But, really, I'm fine. You need it more than me. You can eat it all, I don't mind."

You rose your eyebrows, and then looked at the bowl, and then at her.

You have Sofia the veggies and some of the pasta to eat, and then, you went to go check on Chugger. Sofia flustered, and then scuttered off to follow you.

Chugger drew the jar from her face and muttered "Billy...B...Blake!" as you approached with brimming, although fatigued enthusiasm. She then looked at Sofia, and squinted.

"Sorry... Who are you again?" she asked the newcomer.

"I'm Sofia." she greeted politely.

"I'm Chug... Chelsea." the pigtailed one replied.

"How's the eating going?" you asked.

"Not... Good." she replied. "Ga...Graham keeps on telling me to eat more and more. Why do I have to eat so much?"

"You're having a bit of a hard time remembering things." you clearly stated to her. You were worried about her mental health - you knew that larger Eaters started to lose it as they got larger, and Chugger was bloating up to an enormous volume. You wondered how she could actually stand and walk around in her state. "How do you feel? Alright?"

Chugger looked aside. "I... Don't remember." she replied. "I think it's just a bit now that it's happening. Maybe I'm just a bit tired."

"Hrm."

"I-I think I'm okay though! Please don't worry Blake! I feel alright."

"Hrmmm...". You continued to look a her with concern.

"I-Is she your... Girlfriend?" Chugger then asked, worried.

"Ah, no. Just a assistant. A helper." you clarified.

She then nodded in reply, grinning in relief. "Aaah, okay, okay." she added.

---*---

After you finished eating, you went to clear out that room. After pulling out a bunch of hurdles and stacks of cones, you and the rest were lead to bring in several mattresses and a wooded cupboard. Within, you found there to be a lot of formal clothing, the exact same kind Graham tended to walk around in. There was a bunch of oversized and modified woman's clothes as well, for Chugger, you assumed. The Midwifery kit had been left inside as well, and the Eaters helping you out often made comments about how this was all looking like a really fancy bedroom, and how they'd love to have a place like this for themselves, as well as guesses towards what this room would be for, which Graham hadn't explained to them.

After clearing out the last things and dusting off a bit here and there, the room was ready. Graham soon approached you, and put a hand on your shoulder.

"I've seen how you've been diligently befriending Chugger for me." he said. "And I can see the excellent results, Blake, I can see how she trusts you. You're a fussy one sometimes, and you've drawn my patience with you thin, but when it comes to work, you shine, I have to admit."

"It's time." he then said. "Tell her to come into the new room. The time for her to stop eating and fulfill her true duty has come."

"What is she going to do?" you asked. "This looks like a place for delivering babies for something. The beds, the tools. All of it."

"Well, maybe." he dismissed "We can talk about it later, first things first. I've got work to do as well, you know." he then said, slightly amused.

Just bitching no and refusing while you're in his group isn't gonna end well.

You decide to lead Chugger to the room

"It's time, Chelsea" you tell her.

"I-it is?" she asked, as she dropped the jar. "...finally...?!"

"Yes." you told her.

"But what will I do? I... I just go inside? What... What am I supposed to do?"

"Graham knows." you replied. "He's a great man, you know. He's got a lot of progress made, and together, you can make progress to really help humanity. You'll be part of the solution, to progress that the Stadium, and eventually everyone, will need."

She nodded, looking at you amazed. "O-Ok."

---*---

Via a superb feat of charisma, you managed to get Chugger to blindly follow you, and as you settled her in, you convinced Graham that you needed time and space to settle everything for him perfectly. He told you that he would give you any margin you needed, as long as you'd provide him with an excellent result as you have done until now. He was in the palm of your hand.

Chugger was now inside the room, with Graham waiting outside, patiently. You had your staff, the morphine and the other drugs with you as well.

"I... I just, stay here?" she wondered, sitting on the rows of mattresses that have been laid out for her. "...will...will you still visit me?"

It was all very clear to you now. The equipment, feeding Chugger and her specific development, the ovary issues. Chugger had been groomed to become a broodmare - baby factory. Specifically, of Graham's own offspring, hence why his clothing was in here too. He was going to fuck her, either to produce some kind of super-baby, produce babies en masse, or something else of the sort. You suspected that Chugger would need to actually learn how to use her super-fertility abilities granted by her consumption though, just like anyone else has to learn how to use the Adrenal gland.

Humans were the most valuable resource right now. They were the reason why Eaters are Eaters, the reason why people hunt, the reason why people hide, the reason why the world has turned into the place it has.

And Graham was looking to cheat the system by creating his own mass supply.

Caught the last thread late. I'll re-itterate what I said there, just in case it's not been said already.

I don't like this. I don't like this at ALL. I smell the mother of all rats. I think Graham's plan may be to turn Chugger into a breeder, or otherwise direct our evolution as a group. We're kind of like the Kroot now, from Warhammer 40k and Graham is trying to be a shaper.

Frankly, if I'd found this thread sooner, I'd have advocated getting the fuck out already. He's essentially running us like a big experiment. The group is just a convenience that allows him a diverse sample size. And human-ish or not, they're decidedly INHUMAN in their attitude towards others.

Honestly, I say we take Juana, Chugger and possibly 13 and get out while we can. I have a really, REALLY bad feeling about all this. We might be cursed, but we need to avoid becoming a monster, in body, mind or spirit.

Actually, come to that... Is it just human meat that changes people? Could animals grant other traits too? If we really are Kroot-like, then that's possibly worth exploring.
>>

>Tell her we like her
...I do like her. Not maybe in that way, but I do like her. And I feel sorry for her. This fate isn't one I'd wish for anyone.

I say we tell her we like her, but not love her or anything. We'll see where that goes. What the hell does she even look like now? A meat-mountain, or something more human or voluptuous?

Welp! Congrats, OP! You have officially made one of the more disturbing villains I have ever met!

There's cartoonish, laughable 'evil'; there's realistic, chilling evil; then there's evil so overblown, so utterly unthinkably depraved that it SHOULD be funny... But ISN'T. It takes something special for me to really hate a villain rather than just go, "Oh, he's a bad guy. Better dislike him I guess," and Graham? I am going to SMILE when Chelsea crushes the life out of him.

>>672746
Depends. I mean there's also the fact that with her as big as she is (how big is that anyway?) she's probably undergoing some mental degradation as well. I feel like at first, she was indeed a ditz, or maybe a bit of an educated bimbo, but still fairly clever, if naive... Now though? Christ, I REALLY hope that we can go through Graham's notes and files and find a way to reverse the adverse effects of Eating.

Also, actually fucking her? Dude, just use one of those Canadian squirt guns and be done with it.

>>
>>673495
I personally want to see any attempt of eater civilization fall to the ground in flames until only humans are left and this idea of cannibalism becomes only a tall tale of the past.

But i agree on you in that causing said collapse right now will be a detriment to our health
>>
>>673495
Eaters can eat Eaters, you know. And who's to say we can't still breed normally? There are seven BILLION people on Earth, 318.9 MILLION of them live in the US and 3.88 million of THAT lives within the limits of Los Angeles alone! If we're in another country then things get even more insane, due to how compact Europe and Asian cities are!

Even if literally 3/4 of everyone was killed and/or eaten, we've still been set back less than a century in terms of actual numbers. Chaos has a funny way of resolving itself too. I mean look at the Stadium; we have a gang with an organised structure here. All it needs to be sustainable is to not rely exclusively on hunting humans and just turn that big ol' patch of dirt into a farm! Sooner or later, things will stabilize into this new world order, just as they always have done in the wake of civilization-shattering disaster.

>>673535
There are cultures in the world now that engage in sacred cannibalism. Who's to say that it won't become an accepted part of the future society? But the important part is that we hold onto our humanity. Regardless of if we eat beef, pork or manflesh, we are still human, as long as we keep those values that make us human close at heart.

Compassion, loyalty, mercy, justice, courage... These things and more are what will save us. We will indeed have to take steps that we would normally never imagine, to ensure survival, but our values are what will be our salvation, once all is said and done.

>>673518
See above.
>>
>>673535
To be honest cannibals exist no matter what, you won't be able to convince everyone that they shouldn't and eaters will never really disapear due to such simple facts. It's become a new cure all, what if a school starts up again and a kid is getting bullied constantly to the point of becoming negatively nihilistic, do you think the kid won't try to down some flesh to keep people from ruining him? Should all people who've eaten others die, and if not how will society work with former eaters reintegrating into the normal fabric of society? It will never go away sadly unless if op states it can go away. Also don't forget you are an eater too senpai.
>>
>>673567
>eaters acne eat eaters you know?
Wow, way to make my fucking point. People can eat you and your friends can eat your friends.
>there are seven billion people on earth
Have we been playing the same fucking game? Have you not noticed how half the population is eating the other half? Don't quote this shit as if it matters when you aren't going to look at the case of the fantasy itself.

*eaters can eat eaters

>>
>>673599
Read the rest of what I wrote. Civilizations have collapsed in dramatic fashion before and have always stabilised afterwards. Eaters aren't invincible and moderate eaters with some cunning can defeat and kill them. The groups that combine human intelligence (and ethics) with an Eater's power will prevail eventually. I mean, if a crossbow and a staff can take down an Eater, then firearms sure as hell can. If the military hadn't been Eaten from within, they probably could have stopped this. In fact, I'll bet there are military groups still out there, gunning down any Eater who tries to get close.

Eventually, mankind will bounce back. We always do. The Black Death wiped out about 60% of Europe's population and we survived. Eventually, giants and the like will have to either kill each other off, or throw themselves at mankind's by-then fortified, organised and armed positions and be mown down. They may be big and strong, but mankind won this planet by being CLEVER and those of us clever enough to use a little of the enemy's strength to augment our own cunning, will be the winners in the end. From there, the population will once again rise. There's already not NEARLY as much death per day, as there was in the beginning.
>>
>>673646
>read the rest of what I wrote as if it matters or makes a point at all, as if a downfall of society in the past compares to a literal change in the human make up allowing one to eat another to get strong and spoopy.
Literally anyone that watches anime or reads fiction would become a canibal. Even the previously thought pure church has gone the way of eating the bones of man.
>>
>>673567
Civilization collapsed, this is our chance to make people forget they can gain powers from cannibalism. How can we call ourselves human when we feast on our own like the lowliest animals.

You can teach a chimpanzee all about those values. That still won't make him human.
We are a mockery of humanity. At least previous generation could have said they weren't eating eachother like creatures out of a children's book to attain more power.

There have always been monsters among us, but this situation has made monsters of all of us.

>>673583
My long term goal is to eliminate all eaters except for a chosen few who we trust deeply that will be used to combat any eater insurgence and to raise the new generations ignorant of the events thtat once took place.

To do that we need power, i guess. And the only way to get power is to keep losing our humanity.
We are in the infancy of a new civilization, we can make this work.

Maybe we can find some way to give each human poison glands or something, so when a would be cannibal feasts on a corpse they die horribly

"Chugger" you tell her in a near whisper so that Graham can't listen. "There's something very important I want you to know."

She looked at you attentively and nodded.

"Graham is fucking messed up." you started off. "And I think I know exactly what you're going to be here for."

She blinked, and her eyes widened in expectation.

"The bed, the birthing stuff, Graham's clothes here... You're going to be fucked by him, for sure, and given his obsession with ovaries and the way you're growing, I'm pretty convinced that you're going to be his baby factory."

"..."

"No... No, no, no!" she started to exclaim, and you quickly put a finger on your lips to signal her to be quiet.

"You're... Lying!" she then hissed under her breath, and tears started for form in her eyes. "Graham would've told me! He said that I was going to be happy, that I wouldn't have any problems anymore!"

You sighed. "I know it might be hard to understand, but thi-"

"Th-this...snff... is all I've got, Blake!" she blurted out, as she clumsily wiped her face with her hand. "I... Th-this has to b-b-be...b-b..."

"Chelsea. Do you want to become a baby factory and be knocked up by Graham for the rest of your life?" you stated.

"N-No, NO!" she sniffled.

"Then listen very well now." you replied. "I'll get you out of here, but I need your help, alright?"

She nodded, as she wiped her face again, but still couldn't stop crying.

"When Graham comes in here to fuck you, grab him. With your arms, your legs - grab him. Then I'll come in and kill him, got it?" you instructed.

"I-I can't do tha-!" she cried, and started to collapse again into tears, but you interrupted her.

"Chelsea." you then said. "I'm not going to leave people behind. I rescued Juana, didn't I? I rescued Andrew, didn't I? Killing Graham means the end of your journey and expectations with him, but it's not the end of everything. You still got me, Thirteen, and everyone else here who cares for you, who have been also totally fucked up by all of this."

She nodded, still agitated, but calmer.

" Alright." you then sighed out. "So, remember. Grab him. Got it?"

She nodded again.

"Good."

Graham entered after you left the room. You waited for a couple minutes, patiently, with your staff in your grip.

You inhaled, and tried to control your breath, as you mentally visualized how you would strike him.

"NOW, BLAKE!" you heard Chugger yell.

You barged the door open, and found Graham bound by Chugger's arms and legs. He was nude from the waist down, and you could see that he was missing his left leg - a prosthetic was laying on the floor near his wheelchair.

You lunged and aimed the staff to his head, and with a clean metallic strike, you heard how it hit him.

But it didn't pierce his skull. It just scratched his skin, causing a trickle of bleeding.

You took a step back, and struck him again, with the same result.

"Blake, what are you doing?" you could hear him chuckle. "I thought you were a loyal worker, why this, why now?"

Then, Chugger yelled in pain, as he seemed to stab into her bicep with his hand. It went stiff, and he slid himself out, to sit on the mattress, as the girl continued to cry in agonizing pain as she held her frozen arm.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGy45tGyDCA

"It's futile, Blake." he then added, and stood up on one leg, to then have a massive bone-spike emerge from his missing limb to form a peg-leg. You had seen a very similar technique before - it was the same one the masked man at the hospital had used on his arm.

"You just can't kill me." Graham stated.

Yeah, I don't think you can really close the floodgates here... For starters, how did people even find out about this in the first place? It's not as if you go around casually snacking on the neighbor on a whim.

We can't turn back time. All we can do is shape the future. Cannibalism may well be our darkest urge, but it can and WILL be controlled and focused. I'm not yet sure exactly HOW, but we WILL triumph over this and in turn, emerge stronger not just in body, but in mind and soul too. We have changed. EVERYONE has changed. To reject that is foolish. To wholly embrace it is monstrous. We need to find the balance.

Yeah, I strongly suspect that we're going to face desertions, maybe fragmentation and possibly an attempt at a coup in the near future. Also, we already rejected taking charge, remember? Despite the fact that Chelsea (calling her Chugger seems... Dehumanising) seems to think we're more than capable and even Thirteen, a MUCH more experienced warrior and hunter, was not just impressed, but downright SHOCKED at the speed we could get from our adrenal glands.

Still... They say that anyone who WANTS to lead, is most likely unfit to, so... Who knows?

Regardless, we probably shouldn't play this as an attempt to seize power; that's an excellent way to consolidate the other gangs against us.
>>
By the end of this we get Chugger, Graham's Body strength to be divided amongst our team(in secret) Juana, Andrew, Sofia and first dibs on all grahams stuff. Not to mention the street cred from killing the boss.

You immediately ran up charge and push Graham towards the wall. When you struck him, you could feel how hard his entire body was, but then, it suddenly softened up back up to normal as your inertia died off and you both were further off.

"Get out, quick! Get Thirteen and the others!" You telled to Chelsea, who, in her pain, quickly stood up and and did as you told her.

Graham looked at you.

"You learn quick." he mentioned. "But you can't learn how to beat me, you don't have access to the knowle-"

You thrust your staff into his chest, and it merely landed on him, with Graham unfazed.

"-dge...." he muttered. "See, Blake, yo-"

You immediately focused on your Adrenal Gland, and aimed at his eyes, and pieced it into an explosion of blood and pus.

He didn't move. For a moment, he was completely silent, dumbfounded. He rose a hand to his wound, trembling. "But...How?" he asked. "You... Where did you learn?"

"Hospital." you admitted, now that the cat was out of the box. "Another doctor, like you. Something about 'flesh to bone'. I figured that your flesh is invulnerable, but everything else isn't."

He chuckled. "This is what I get for trying to have colleagues." he stated, as the bleeding continued profusely. "Really, my fault. Do you understand now why I had to keep things a secret? You don't know how to handle the truth, Blake, neither does anyone else. I'm here to carry that burden. Let me do what I must do. Why do you have to be so selfish, and think only about your own profit?"

"Fuck you, Blake." you said, and pierced out his other eye too, and then, smashed in his nose as well.

Graham stumbled, and held the wall. "Is... Is this how you're going to leave me? Is this how you treat the person who has taken you in, given you food, water and shelter? Is this how you repay me, Blake? Are you really this ungrateful?"

"You've ruined me, Blake." he then added. "You've ruined it for everyone. The only chance to find a solution to this world, in a timely fashio-."

You stabbed him in the forehead, piercing his skull. He couldn't see it coming, he couldn't react. Soothingly, the metal tube penetrated into his cranium, and gently, his body went limp.

"G-Graham.. GRAHAM IS DEAD!" you then heard one of the kitchen ladies yell behind you. You turned around, to find a small audience that had grouped up.

"GRAHAM IS DEAD!" you then heard more and more people yell in panic, some others in enthusiasm.

Within minutes, the Stadium had devolved into total chaos. People were stealing everything they could, attacking each other, or fleeing. A lot of people wanted to be new boss, and whenever some seemed to be in the lead of convincing the others to ascend, they' be attacked and eaten by a mob of others, and the cycle would continue endlessly. Thirteen was within the brawling as well, constantly trying to get ahead of the others, but stuck in the constant fighting, confident that he would eventually win, somehow. You couldn't find Juana at first sight either, but she had to be in here somewhere.

"SOFIA!" you could hear Andrew yell out from further away in the Stadium. "We don't have to be here anymore, the Stadium is over! We can go back to the Church!"

You looked at her. Didn't they say they were independents before?

"C'mon, let's go, now!" Andrew demanded, and quickly approached you both.

"No, Andrew... I owe him! Plus, the Stadium isn't over, the people here aren't going to disappear!" she yelled back.

"You'll never listen to me!" Andrew yelled back "You're going to die here, we can't do more of what they've told us, the mission is over, finished, we can leave!"

"Andrew, no, staaaaah!!" she replied, until she was suddenly being tugged away by the large man.

Everything else can be replaced. Not our friends, true, but we can't find them in the chaos. We need to find the intel and secure it before everything goes to shit.

Sofia is a priority, true, but one for later. For now, we get the intel, then we get Juana and Chelsea and see if we can get Thirteen to see some sense, although honestly, I think he's a little too hot-headed to really let go of the hunting life... Still, it's worth a shot.

Thanks for running!

I get trying to save Sofia, even though I personally think we have other things to deal with, but joining in with looting and fighting is probably the LEAST productive use of our time.

So I'm interested to know why you think it'd be a good move, actually. Are you seeing something I'm not?

I was just thinking that any of the other options would be a ton easier with 13 as backup, not to mention making sure our backup dosent get munched while we are off getting the items.

Once hes safe we can just get him to follow us >Rust to graham get best slices >Loot study >And find our other comanions

i just feel doing all those options would be a ton easier with someone watching our back. Especially considering that its been stated that most of the people here are stronger than us generally speaking.

>>674577
True, but if we take this chance to loot and feast, we're not going to get anything done. 13's cool and all, but he's honestly a bit aimless. He's a good hunter and an excellent raider and not even really a bad guy, but actually directing his rampage in a time like this is going to be a task and a half and we can't always get ridiculously lucky rolls to direct the story as benefits us.

Oh and I reeeally want to steer clear of Eating Graham... Something about what he's done to his body makes me think it's not going to end well.

And it's half three in the morning here, so I'm off to bed. Thanks for the thread OP! I'm enjoying it a hell of a lot more than I thought I would, given the grizzly subject matter!

Just knock him out and hide his unconscious body somewhere, then
>Try to find and loot Graham's studies.

I'm just worried about something happening to Juana at this point. She isn't exactly equipped to defend herself against eaters.
