Hello there human, or should I say humans. You appear to have lost your previous avatar, or perhaps you merely choose to leave it behind. Not that it’s my place to judge. Either way you’ll be needing a new one for this little game we'll be playing won’t we? Although I can’t just let you pick the avatar now can I? Where would the fun in that be? So I will ask you a few questions, nothing too complicated and no wrong answers, I just want to get a feel of who I will be playing with.

For now we will just do first come first serve to keep the the speed up.

Question 1: How childish do others consider you to be?
>>
>>666142

You appear to be a bit of a idealist dead set on your moral compass of a firm line between right and wrong, good and evil. Possibly gained from stories of grandeur and heroism you vow to never stray from the right path. You try to be patient and keep your cool, but your boundless energy can occasionally get the better of you. This will most likely get better as you age and experience the world.

Someone like you should be... A Riolu

Now with your avatar situation solved, let us begin.

You open your eyes to be greeted by the open sky, the sun shining down on your currently downed form as you feel the grass below you tickle your back. Despite the comforting surroundings you feel ill from whatever you felt before you… what were you doing before you lost consciousness? Your insides feel as though they have been scrambled and cooked, and you feel your stomach feel like it is trying to force something up.

What will you do?
>>
>>666295
>Focus
Think about what we might have been doing.

When that inevitably fails let's examine our body and surroundings.
>>
File: Cliff side.png (365 KB, 450x974)
365 KB
365 KB PNG
>>666306
You reach to the recesses of your mind to attempt to find a memory of what you were doing last. All you clearly remember are flashes and loud noises, maybe screaming? Your head fills with a sharp pain the more you try to think about it. Deciding it would be best to try and find out where you are.

Slowly rising to your feat despite your body's protests you bring yourself to your feat, swaying slightly as your body tries to orient itself. Looking around you appear to be nearby a cliff? The horizon shows a large forest with several mountains in the distance.

What will you do.
>>
>>666334
Try moving around a bit.
And getting used to our body.
Gotta make sure everything works like it should.

And find a path down to the forest afterwards.
>>
>>666341
Attempting to try and keep yourself standing is difficult, so difficult in fact that you quickly fall to your hands and knees, your stomach quickly forcing you to try to eject anything from your already empty stomach. Once you are done your fit of dry heaving you finally take notice to the fact you have paws? Blue furred paws with some kind of hard, bone like sticking out of it vertically up the back of your arms. You'd be more concerned if you could actually remember what you had before you had paws, or if you even never had paws, but you are far more concerned about your state of health.

Help first, questions later it seems.

Looking around you try and find a way down from the mountain there are to clear ways. Despite its initial look the cliff side is not a complete 90 degree drop and is rocky enough to possibly be scaled. This would be the fastest way, but by far the most dangerous, especially in your current conditions. The only other path is a thick brush of forest behind you with only the barest of openings for you to get too, you can't tell what kind of creatures would live there or even if it will lead you down to low ground. It is probably still safer than scaling down though.

>Scale down (Roll 1d20)
>Take the forest "route"
>There's got to be another way...
>>
Rolled 15 (1d20)

>>666357
Well considering our physicality creatures like us or more powerful than us may appear.

Expediency is key.

>Scale down.
>>
>>666361
Despite your better judgement, you don't know whats wrong or how serious it is and speed might be key in helping stop it so you slowly make your way towards the edge of the cliff before slowly making your way down.

Normally you'd think having paws would make climbing down immensely difficult, but you find you have a firm grip on the walls. Whether naturally or from sheer fear of falling? Probably best not to look down as of now.
As you carefully make your way down you think you start getting a better feel for your body, it still does not feel completely right but at least it doesn't feel like you are controlling a limp puppet when you move your arms or legs.

A quarter of the way to your final destination you are surprised to hear a loud, stern yell from bellow you. Surprising you and making you push down a bit to hard and making the rock you were currently grabbing slip out of its place.

Roll 20 to regain grip
>>
Rolled 6 (1d20)

>>666394
Some loud scrub might make us fall down.

If we survive we are going to chop them.
>>
>>666396
You barely grab onto another rock. Shame it slips out of your grip immediately and you quickly slide down the steep hill hitting every bump, scrap, and rock on your way down. Be thankful it wasn't from the top of the the cliff or you'd probably be seriously hurt. You reach the bottom and face plant into the ground, your... long nose(?) breaks your fall as you eat dirt. At least your not dead.

"Oh you poor baby!" the voice from earlier, now that you can clearly tell its female. Probably a mother at that.

That doesn't really concern you right now, right now you are more concerned with how much pain you are in. You're body is littered with cuts and bruises and you think you may have broke you nose. You don't even know why, but you feel the beginnings of water form near your eyes, but you're a grown man! You think? It feels like it, at least it feels like you shouldn't cry, especially not in front of a girl.

Curling into a protective ball you begin to feel your masculinity leave your body through your eyes as your body betrays you. Soon enough you are openly bawling like a child out of both pain and shame.

You quickly feel your body be lifted up in the air and you are brought into a warm embrace by a much larger fluffier being as you she quietly whispers sweet nothings into your ears. As you try to keep your soaked face as deep into the warm fur of the body holding you, if nothing else but to not let her see your face.

Eventually you cry yourself to sleep as you feel yourself being carried off in the distance by the unknown woman.

Guess we can talk her to call us a man and not a child.

R.I.P masculinity.

And we are back in business

You don’t know how long you were out, but you woke in a cave on top of a pile of straw. Your wounds have been bandaged and while there is a light pain they seem to be more or less fine. You may have… overacted in front of that woman, but at least it helped you get your desired medical attention. You don’t feel sick anymore and your body feels much better. Still a bit odd feeling, but nothing like when you first woke. The walls have a few torches that have a blue fire that fills the room with a somewhat eerie light, but a least do their job of lighting the place up. After a quick inspection of yourself you finally notice you are some kind of short, blue, bipedal dog thing.

Riolu

You don’t know where that name came from but you think it might be what you are. For some reason it feels weird to call yourself that, like you aren’t supposed to be this “Riolu”. Regardless you are awake and more or less mobile. Time to decide on what you need to do.

>A strange woman has brought you into a mysterious cave, it might be a good idea to leave
>Stay put, you might learn something from the woman
>Explore the cave, maybe you can find the woman

Do some hops.

Let's test this body's physicality.
>>
>>666540
>>Explore the cave, maybe you can find the woman
>>
>>666558
Besides being a bit sore, you find you are more or less in control of your body. It might be even more physically fit than your used to somehow, definitely shorter than you're used to.

>>666559
Deciding to make your way out of the cave room, you find yourself in a hallway with similar eerie blue fires lighting the area, there are pathways to your left and right as well as rooms along the sides. There are several more entrances to what you assume are more rooms similar to yours, and you can vaguely here some noises echoing through from some of them.
>>
>>666574
>Open a random door.
Does this lady just pick up randoms that are injured?
>>
>>666579
Opening the first door you come across leads to nothing of any real interest, you continue for a bit before opening another. Only to quickly close it in silent horror. A honest to god dragon slept peacefully on the other side what seemed like a much flimsier door. Maybe its not the best idea to snoop into those rooms. Luckily you begin to notice the fact that the hallways seem to curve and you assume that they will meet whichever way you go. Or you could try to find your room again. Maybe even go back into the dragon room if you feel like literally pissing any masculinity you have left out in fear.

What will you do.
>>
>>666609
Let's follow the curve to where the hallways meet.
If there is a door there maybe she'll be there.

And let's avoid the dragon. We've lost enough masculinity as of yet.

You quietly pad away from the door before scurrying along the hallway hoping to god there is nothing more threatening actually roaming the hallways. You eventually make it to what looks like some kind of reception area? there is a single pink egg sitting behind the desk, from its slouched position. It doesn't seem to move at all or even recognize your existence despite its eyes being wide open. Is it asleep? Should you wake it?
>>
>>666652
Try to grab the weird creatures attention.
Wake it up if it sleeps.
And speak to it.

Ask it where we are.
>>

Try as you might, your unusually young voice doesn't reach the egg carrying egg. Pokes and prods do nothing either. It seems you aren't getting anything from this blob.

>These rolls
Come on anons, we can't be bubble blowin babies forever.

While initially chopping the thing seemed like a good idea, you doubt your small paw would do much against the huge blob. Maybe a tackle of some kind? Backing up to the wall you charge straight into the pink monstrosity.

Quick Attack

You didn't know where that thought came from. You also didn't know when you got so ungodly fast. You went so fast you were unable to keep yourself from tripping up and landing face first into the blob. Fortunately, you harmlessly bounced off and back onto your back. Your minor injuries flaring up a bit.

You forget your pain the moment you here a giggle and quickly turn to find a yellow fox with red fur coming out of her ears trying to hold in her mirth at the display. Noticing her only made her completely break out into a laugh. Where did she come from?

"S-shut up!" She starts laughing harder. Great start.
"Where am I and why do I look like this!?" She attempts to stop herself from laughing for just a minute to explain.

"You are in the guild's infirmary, and you look like that because- pfft" she tries to maintain a straight face, her mouth twitching heavily trying not to laugh.
"You look like that because we patched you up after you fell down a hill." To her credit she contains herself a few more seconds before continuing her laughing fit,

"Our guild is built into one of the mountains nearby where you fell. One of guild master Alakazam's old team mates hollowed out most of the hallway and most of the rooms, we expanded eventually by ourselves." She leads you around the maze like corridors and rooms with confidence. You lost track of where you were a fair distance after you left the circular are of the guilds infirmary, but she seems like she knew this place like the back of her han- paw.

You make out a light at the end of the tunnel and you finally enter what seems to be some kind of transition from stone to wood and you enter a main area of sorts. There are a few creatures of various types all seem to be bidding their time or attempting to look busy.

"A bit of a trek between the infirmary and here."

I don't remember exactly how mom said it worked but basically they change randomly, tend to keep mysteriously leaving rare items around, and sometimes suck up pokemon that come near them. If you stay in to long without a rescue badge that guilds send out then they can lose their minds and attack other pokemon on sight! Oh yeah time also works weird in them, so you heal faster and get hungry faster."
"No not yet, there aren't many kids around since everyone started leaving, those that do stick around are to young or don't want to, and adults don't like having kids around during them."

She storms off back the way you came and you quickly follow, after several turns and a floor down you find yourself entering a room with a large crack splitting open one of the walls. It seems normal, well normal for a giant crack in the wall of a otherwise smooth room, but their is a sense of foreboding.

You enter the secret room to find a stair case up
You hear your partner mumble "Strange, the stairs are supposed to go down in this dungeon."
You pay it no head as you have found the staircase you need to escape the dungeon grabbing the fox girl again you rush towards the stair case and head up.

Lonely Cave F2

You reach the second floor of the cave, if it is even the same cave. It seems much more... sinister somehow. It is defiantly harder to see.

"I thought you said we had to get to the stairs"
"We have to get to the bottom or top of the dungeon using stairs then we can leave."
Speaking of stairs, the previous set you climbed has now disappeared.

You are in a empty room with three pathways to the north, south, and east.

Getting on your hands and knees you begin to pick up the gold from the ground like the dirty poor person you are. As you scavenge the room you decide to make idle conversation with the Fennekin who still has trouble believing what she has seen so far.
"So how many floors are in this dungeon."
Snapping out of her stupor she responds "Well normally once you reach floor BF4 we could escape, but now we are going up so I don't know..."
That is somewhat concerning, how long might you be here?

"Don't worry."
She looks up at you confused.
"We'll get out, we can probably get out around floor 4 up, or we might find stair cases back down. Maybe we'll find one of those escape orbs you were talking about."
She looks at you for a moment digesting what you said.

You place your hand on her head. "And when we get out of here I'll make sure we make it to the top and you become the new guild master! You big baby."
You don't even need to look at her but you feel the heat of embarrassment coming radiating from your hands position. At least you think that's embarrassment, it could easily be rage or something else.
"Come on, race you to the end!" you run off to the room north, fox in tow.

Forming a familiar vacuum you send the force towards the Geodude who while damaged, doesn't seem too fazed by the attack.
Your partner seems to be doing slightly better as she lets loose fire onto one of the Zubat doing decent damage and even burning it in the process.

The rock tries to lift itself up and throw itself in a crude Tackle, but is to slow and you easily move out of way. The two Zubat harass your partner using leech life, while not too effective your partner is unable to fend them off as they keep in close to make it difficult to aim.

"A resting area! We can leave from here!"

"Yeah, all we need to do is head back."

>And we are back with session 2 of the thread, please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times and enjoy the ride!

“We did it! We beat the dungeon!”
You decide against bursting your foxy friend’s bubble with the fact you SURVIVED a dungeon long enough to escape. Despite this fact you yourself feel some pride as well for how everything turned out. You think you could get used to this type of adventure, maybe not the potential dying, but if other dungeons were anything like that one you are sure to be fine.
You just stand there, basking in the glory that is victory as your partner jumps around cheering ‘we did it!’ over and over. That is until you notice someone standing in the doorway of the dungeon entrance room, and they do not look happy. Soon your vulpine friend notices the intense glare of the new member of your little party, before shrinking away behind you.

It’s one furious fox.

“You have no idea how much trouble you both are in.”
She sounds calm, but you can just FEEL the anger seeping out of her words.

> We thought we heard someone stuck in there and then we got stuck!
>>
>>669288
Oops I forgot my tripmeme.
>>
>>669434
“We though- Woah!”

You are cut off before you could even get into your half assed excuse as you feel an invisible force pick you up. You attempt to struggle but it’s worthless without any surface to gaining some kind of leverage and you end up flailing pointlessly.

Fennekin seems to have already accepted her fate as she just limply looks at the ground as you two are floated away. This seems to be a familiar occurrence to her, like she either knows not to struggle and make it worse or that it is pointless to struggle in the first place.

You are taken through the maze like pathways until you reach a room, hopefully not some kind of punishment room. Once brought forcefully inside you are practically tossed onto some kind of bed of hay where you actually can get a look of the room. Shelves line the walls with many bottles and containers holding ingredients and liquids. The center of the room seems to be some kind of shallow fire pit strangely enough, you couldn’t make out any kind of air outlet for any kind of smoke. One end of the room has a simple desk with notes strewn about while the other seems more for some kind of prep, the prep table has all kinds of tools on or hanging around it that you would see in a kitchen. You also notice a few cauldrons of varying sizes stacked in the corners of the room, all big enough to fit you inside… and the only exit is blocked by an angry magic fox wizard.

Maybe now would be a good time to panic.

Like the rest of the thread it is the first roll and action only.

Getting up you storm towards the nearest wall in an attempt to smash it down. Unfortunately, the still very angry fox that still exists doesn't seem to want you to stand up while she scolds you.

You find yourself floating towards fox mom and quickly but into a position with your hindquarters completely open and your tail being yanked painfully up by the psychic power.

"Eep!" You sque- I mean yell out in manly surprise! Your butt stings immensely as you were just spanked. Looking back you see the still calmly furious Delphox holding long stick. She doesn't seem even close to finished.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7bZkLr5bTU

Your wails of tears and pain echo through the caves as you completely lose control of yourself. Your partner can only watch in horror as you are smacked over and over. Time seems to lose meaning as you lose track of how many swats you receive. By the end of it you a bumbling mess, nothing but the heat of pain comes from your cheeks. You can barely make a coherent thought before you are place back down on the hay bed.

You let out another heavy sob mixed with a hiss of pain as your ass touches the makeshift bed and you quickly position yourself in a ball on your side trying to protect your sore spot without touching it.

The Delphox sighs a bit as she lectures your partner for a bit. You are really no longer in a right state of mind and can barely understand the exchange. Soon you cry yourself to sleep.

Again.

You wake in the room you were discipl- viciously and unjustly attacked. While the burning of your cheeks has died a bit, you can still clearly feel it.

"Oh your finally awake."

Faster than you thought possible you are up on your feat, hands covering your sensitive area as you hope to some deity the pain won't continue. There sits the phox from earlier, calmly sitting on a stool nearby the desk. You can no longer feel the seething rage rolling off her so you assume she isn't AS angry as before, but you keep yourself protected just in case.

"I have something for that if you want me to stop the pain."

>>
>>672514
I just really dislike how the entire premise of the quest radically changed. Like, it went from SAO to jumper with little to no warning. Anyway, I'm gonna avoid talking about it now since this isn't the thread to do that. I'm interested in where this quest is going since I'm a fan of PMD.
>>

>Where this quest is gonna go.
Ideally to wherever we become a badass lucario.
And where we stop crying like a pansy.
>>
>>672430
>>672514
>>672579
I may occasionally award autism if it isn't a constant flow and they get a high roll. Otherwise I'll probably ignore or veto it, or even accept it but make nothing come out of it (see when we punched a solid ceiling with a 19). Now that we are a voting system it will probably be harder for autism to completely take over.

Also to maintain some speed of the session I will make the votes 10-20 (may change after I get a feel of how many people are actually voting) minutes after the initial post, or the first to get three votes. Whichever comes first.

Also now whenever you roll it will be the highest of the first 3 rolls.

I may make some different rules for combat, but for now lets just keep it simple and see how it works.

Session 3 is about to start as well, let me just type some last shit and we can start this.

>Session 3 Start

You awake again, in a different room this time. The room you previously were placed in after falling down that steep incline. At least you think it is, they all looked pretty similar and empty when you checked them last. Your bum thankfully is no longer sore from the beating it took. Actually it feels almost as if nothing happened to it in the first place?

Did that Phox touch your bum when you said no? For some reason shiver at the thought of that.

Sitting up you notice a somewhat large book nearby your bed. The title reading "Exploration Essentials". Was this here for you?

You try to read and walk as you go down the seemingly endless corridors of the guild. You were halfway through a page about orbs when you end up lightly bumping into a wall. While nothing is hurt you feel as though you aren't getting anywhere.

Literally somehow you ended up back to where you started... You think... Everything in here looked maddeningly similar. You try to push away the bad thoughts of somehow the guild itself turning into the dungeon. or the walls closing in around you. Are those flames starting to burn out? It feels like its getting darker.

You are not lost, you definitely are not lost.

Despite trying your hardest you can't seem to get your bearings. You finally are outright completely lost and you are starting to panic heavily. You read the pages to distract yourself from the sense of dread that comes with being lost, but you just see words on a page, no form of coherent thought is given to you from the text. Panic begins to set in as you cross what you are sure is the same pathway you were just in. The only difference you can tell as of now is the flames are definitely weaker. The darkness whispers your fears as you begin to see the shadow of something creep out of sight.

Despite your better judgement you suck up your fear and follow the shadow you saw. The closer you get the more you are certain you here whispers.

It seems the shadow has noticed your presence, and you hear a distinct giggle above the whispers as it speeds up its pace. You rush to keep up as she leads you through the maze. As you round a corner you last saw here you are met with a dead end. No shadow, nothing but the eerie dim touches at the end of the hall's dead end.

Is it possible we've been sucked into another dungeon?
Either that or someone is screwing with us.
>>
>>672855

You walk forward and inspect the smooth walls for some kind of discrepancy. Something, anything that could explain the disappearance of the Pokemon from earlier. The walls are completely smooth, and the torch at the end more or less a normal. Were you just hallucinating?

As you ponder the possibility of madness, the flames lighting the dead end and surrounding hallways snuff out. Leaving you in pitch darkness. You here the familiar giggling and the whispers return full force. Hell they aren't even whispers anymore they feel like they are screaming in your ears!

You quickly take out your orb, you have no idea what it is or how to use it, but desperate times call for desperate measures. You think the book said it had to be smashed to be used? Or was it a specific type of orb? Regardless you throw the orb to your feat. The orb shatters sending a wave around you.

...

Why can't you move?

IT IS OFFICIALLY TIME TO PANIC, YOU ARE COMPLETELY FROZEN. YOU CAN'T MOVE YOUR BODY!

"That wasn't a smart plan." A female voices her opinion behind you. You'd turn to face her, but you currently are stuck.
"You are supposed to throw that into a room and it will petrify everyone in it, not at your feat." she definitely sounds closer than before, but you can't hear any foot steps coming from here.

"hehe, its been a while since I've had a plaything this cute~" She whispers into your ear. You'd flinch away from the invasion of your personal space, but you are currently rooted in your spot.

You try and force your body to move, do anything to stop her from "playing" with you. Fortunately you break free!... partially.

Your left arm has regained its movement slightly, and you can kind of move it slightly. Nothing that can stop her, but maybe if you could just get her close enough for your iron grip...

She giggles again and begins to poke and prod your body, with no apparent rhyme or reason, sometimes it feels as though she can touch multiple parts of your body at the same time. Some just light pokes, others jittery jabs into your sides, and some tickling. All you can do for now is silently grunt and giggle as she toys with you. You can't even flinch away.

"So what, I wonder, is a little boy like you doing out here..." She knows you can't answer but you know she is to the left of you now.

You can't do it, you just can't break free. Unspeakable things are about to be done to you. You can't look down, but you are sure you don't want to see what is about to happen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3qVQvUZV-E

You feel a disgustingly wet tickling sensation on your stomach. The crazy bitch just raspberry you!

"Hehehe, I wish your face wasn't frozen so I could see the look on it!" She rises again. not even bothering to contain her mirth.

"Well I could leave you here for someone else to find... but since I'm feeling nice I'll help the fresh meat find his way to out!"

Unfortunately this did not mean she was going to free you from your paralysis. You feel a familiar force pick you up as you are moved through the air, getting dragged along by the ghostly figure.

Later you are at a familiar main area where a few other guild members wait, a few look at you curiously, but otherwise you and your harasser are ignored.

"Now be good and wait here for Alice~" She gives the top of your muzzle a small peck before she fazes into a wall. You don't know if the guild is used to this, but none of the other guild members seem to make any note of the new partially animate statue in their midst.

Maybe this was some kind of hazing?

After a few more minutes you finally regain movement of your body. It feels dirty somehow, and you now know to walk cautiously through that maze of horrors. You take out the "Exploration Essentials" guide and try to read to attempt to get the previous events out of your head.

After reading through its many pages and catalogs you feel you understand the functions of dungeons better, and exploration in general.

>Gained General Item Knowledge
You can now identify most common items found in dungeons and what they do without using them, more obscure and rarer items may need someone more experienced to identify.

>Gained Type Advantage Basic

"I was-" You notice Mismagius sticking her head through the wall behind Alice. Staring at you smirking, like she is daring you to say it.

"I got lost in the corridors and someone led me out..." You try to sound natural, but Alice clearly can tell something is off. "Let's just go, I can't wait to get moving after- Let's just go, you can tell me about the mission on the way."

"Oo-kay?" Luckily she doesn't push the subject. You make your way out of the guild and begin following a path. It feels good to be outside of the guild, you'd say its been so long but you wouldn't know it being mostly caves.

"OH! Before I forget we also got this stuff for being a part of the guild!" She pulls out a badge out of some kind of bag wrapped around her and hanging to her side. How did you miss that?

She hands you a scarf and a badge using her mouth.

"That's a Weather Scarf, if you wear it no matter how bad the weather gets it will always feel comfortable. The badge is our rescue badge, it is a sign that we are part of the guild and can teleport trapped Pokemon out of mystery dungeons!" You wrap the scarf comfortably around your neck and use it as a place to pin your badge.

"I got an orange ribbon! It increases my stats slightly." You see said ribbon around her neck, the badge pinned to the center of it.

"We also got a few berries and an orb for our first mission, they're in our treasure bag." She motions towards said box from earlier.

It doesn't look all that comfortable around her neck, probably would be better for a biped to have it.

"So how do I look? Like an adventurer?"
She smiles "Like an adventurer."

You pat her on the head and feel a similar warmth. "Anyway whats our mission?"

Regaining her composure Alice begins to explain "Have you ever heard of the Kricketune Brothers?" At your confirmation of negative she continues. "They are basically a duo of traveling musicians, they recently have been getting pretty popular, but that's besides the point. Recently the duo decided to practice near a mystery dungeon called the Mist-erious Forest, something about good reverb I'm not really sure. It ended up drawing in one of the brothers and now the second is asking us to help get him out. Its a relatively low level dungeon and our guild doesn't have the resources that aren't being put towards bigger missions, so we got it. Sound good?"

Nodding you ask "Is there anything else we need?"

"Well we don't really have money to get anything from town, but with this dungeon we should be able to get through with what the guild gave us."

You notice an item in the corner and a small narrow clearing in the fog that looks like some kind of path and a berry lays forgotten in one of the corners. The fog seems almost completely solid now, as if they are walls. It appears you've entered a the dungeon.

Alice quickly sends a quick Ember to dispatch the Shroomish, it stays standing but you are able to finish it with a vacuum wave.

You are able to pick up another Oran berry as well as... A petrify orb! You take great care to put it gentle into your bag.

+1 Petrify orb (Petrify every Pokemon in a room)

Returning to the Shroomish room you wait just outside the before tossing the orb into the room and duck back into the hallway. You hear the orb shatter and wait a few seconds to see if you hear foot steps. Nothing comes. You enter the room with Alice and begin the final solution where Alice used ember on the frozen mushrooms and you finishing them off if they were to move afterwards. You feel slightly stronger after having beat them, and they even 103 gold coins.

Luka levels up to 7

Loot secured you head to the next floor

>Mist-erious Forest BF3

You descend into a relatively small room, with pathways leading to the north, south, and east. The staircase is luckily enough right here in the west corner of the room.

"ACK! What are these kids doing here?" Blocking the staircase is a pair of Murkrow.
"Are they a exploration team? They have those badges." the second one inquires.
"Hey you two, knob off would you. Boss wouldn't like kids like you hanging around here. Kids like you shouldn't be in a mystery dungeon anyway."

So OP what level do we evolve?
Or do we need happiness levels?
>>
>>675214
This, but be on guard.
>>
>>675214
Not sure how I want to do evolution. Normally in PMD it is late game where you have to go to a specific place to evolve, sometimes with a specific item or level of IQ. Problem is I don't plan on using IQ, using skill books for abilities instead. I'm honestly thinking just make them evolve at a certain level they will evolve naturally, or maybe a stressful battle of some sorts.
>>
>>675239
>Stressful battles.
I vote in favor of this for the animu factor.
>>
>>675239
Well riolu is a hero type you can say. Maybe have him evolve during a boss fight when a partner is hurt or knocked out, like a response to the need to protect people.
>>
>>675214
>>675227
These guys sound shady, you prepare yourself for a sneak attack of some kind. "You guys happen to see a Kricketune around here?"

"I told you man, the jig is up." the first one whispers just loud enough for your sensitive ears to pick up.
The second one smacks upside the head with his wing. "Shut up!" He starts whispering something to him before they both turn back to you.
"We didn't see nothin'"

You never lose your tense stance, and Alice seems ready to go at a moments notice. "We are here to retrieve a lost Kricketune, we know he is in this dungeon, and we would like to keep looking as this is exploration team business. Could you please move?"

"No listen here bud..." Before he continues his partner swoops up into the air and towards you. being somewhat ready you dodge to the side barely causing a peck to miss. His partner takes to the air as well.

Murkrow 2

The second Murkrow still mid air decides to ease the pressure on his partner and begins to peck at Alice. The second waits for you to close in before doing a quick astonish.

Alice continues attempts to stop the crow from following up on the astonish, and makes a direct hit.

The Murkrow not expecting the attack backs off from the fight to gain higher ground by flying, the other one swoops in and attempts to Peck at Alice once more.

Unused to the extra speed you hit your first mark knocking the bird out of the air, but your 2nd Vacuum wave misses completely. Alice's ember attack severely damages the other Murkrow, and causing it to become burned.

"Mate, we aren't doing to hot. These kids are a real pain!" The downed Murkrow states.
"Lets book it!" The one in the air swoops down grabbing the other one. Making it almost to the stairs before the burn takes its toll, causing him to fall. They both begin to try and make their way to the staircase by foot.

You pick up throw Alice who squeaks in surprise before throwing her at the two. She directly lands on top of all of them in a heap. One of them is completely unconscious from impact and Alice is able to quickly scratch the other one to knock him out as well.

>You've leveled up to 8

“Sorry, just didn’t want those two jerks to get away.” You motion to the two birds. Before handing her an Oran berry. “We should heal up. Their ‘boss’ might be around.”

Alice and you both rest to eat your Oran berries, and you decide to make a little small talk.
“So have you ever been into an actual mystery dungeon. Aside from the practice one of course.”
Alice chokes on her berry a bit, before quickly replying “O-of course, what kind of rookie do you take me for?”

-2 Oran Berries

As you finish your berries you move onto the next floor.

Mist-erious Forest Depths

You walk into the next floor. It is a simple open room, and you notice Kricketune, is lying prone at the end. You and Alice rush forward before another dark figure swoops in front of you.

“Oi brats, what do you think you are doing in my turf? Those two schmucks better not be slacking off again.”
“Hey we are an exploration team, and we took out those two ‘shmucks’ out before we came here.” Alice fumes.
“Oh so your coppers then? Here to bring me in?”
“No we’re here for-“
“HAHAHA, I knew the day would come that those idiots would see me as a threat, time to send you running home with your tails between your legs!”

After several tail whips of the bird statue you feel as though you have lowered his defense enough. And take you place for a devastating blow.

After a few seconds of him not moving you decide it is your victory!

Welcome back OP.

Yo, just writing the some stuff up. Will either start around 6 tonight or tomorrow afternoon unless something distracts me. We will begin our ascent as soon as we stop being a bubble blowing baby.

>>676425
I've also never seen two natural 20s in a row.

Anyway this time will probably be a short session to preserve my sanity and I have decided to keep dungeons and over world completely separate to keep me attempting twelve hour sessions. I already feel a bit burned out from the last ones that dragged on, and as you might have been able to tell from the last few posts, I get more irritable and impatient the more tired I am. While I have no real set schedule for this if you guys tell me times and days you would want to see this quest happen I can try and make it happen.

With that blog done we will resume your regularly scheduled programing eventually.
