[Previous Thread (Golblin Quest Chapter 1)]
>>667016

Hey guys, here with chapter 2 of my Goblin Quest thread, I had a lot of fun with the first chapter and I was surprised, but glad about its reception. Before we begin the next chapter, I wanna thank all of those who have and continue to follow this quest and its characters.

>go out window

You scoop the two goblins in the arm that had the shield equipped make a cold and fierce dash towards the glass window with the two goblins following held close to you. You make running jump and punch through the glass with the chain mail glove you have equipped and fall out two stories into a conveniently placed haystack. During the fall Smithy slips from your embrace as you hit the haystack with Nydia close who quickly crawls out of the haystack to get out of the way of the still airborne Smithy who plops down on your chest.

"...Thank you so much for what you did back there, with the window, I mean as well as all the other shit you've done. That took major balls" Smithy says looking down at you

You're shocked to hear Smithy compliment you as she always seemed the thorny type, especially towards you at first.

In the sky was a bright shining sun which seemed to gleam off the rump that was plopped against you

"Alright, there, now you see firsthand that what they say about goblins is true. Now would you stop looking at my ass?"

>>680156

>search area

Considering that it was a haystack you all fell in, it's reasonable to assume that some horses or other livestock are nearby. You and the other two goblins search the area before finding a carriage across from a horse stable[/b]. Inside the stable a horse could be seen peering its head through. You and your party hide behind some haystacks.

"That's it, that's the carriage we were carried in. Something tells me the all the other (goblins) are still in there!" Nydia proclaims.

The carriage happened to have the carriage rider still in the front, however he peered off in the other direction. The rider was, however, an elf whose sense of hearing would be sure to detect you and your encumbered self if you attempted to sneak around.

The pathway to the horse stables was strewn with little haystacks only a goblin could duck under.

You give the goblins the lockpicks and the arrows while you stand by the hostage with your copper dagger. The goblins attempt to open the lock with the lockpick but one lockpick snaps and breaks as the lock is too heavy and hard.

"Whatever..." Nydia says "We can just use the two handed orcish axe to break it open. Lets see if we can still some horses."

Smithy agrees, and along with Nydia searches the stables using some ropes from the saddle to bring two horses to the carriage and strap the horses to it. You ride off, leaving the prison settlement far off into the fields and plains you find a dense forest[/forest] before turning to your elven hostage who happens to be a woman.

You inform Malcia that you and the other two goblins were being held in a prison located of the farm. You tell her it was Smithy that freed you and that you and her rescued Nydia afterward before fighting a fearsome orc, meeting Velvia, and escaping the compound.

"Velvia? The cloaked woman was Velvia? I knew her voice sounded familiar"

"You know that bitch?" Smithy asks

"Yes, she was known among elves to be a careless and selfish sorceress, engulfing herself in the dark arts and necromancy, she's known to ambush the deliveries of sacred gems, items, and enchanted weapons and apparel for whatever goal she's scheming. Heaven knows what she's up to." Malcia explains "Can I have my cloak back, it's getting cold" the elf asks

You hand her the cloak back as you begin to notice that it's getting dark and decide to stop somewhere nestled in the dense forest with a small approximately 7 square yard patch that has no trees, offering a view of the darkening sky. You hear movement inside the carriage.

"Lydia?..." Nydia calls to the goblin with her legs crossed

"I was wondering long were going keep your sister locked up in this shitty carriage" Lydia responds

"Aunt PeLaara..." Smithy calls to the pregnant goblin. Before Smithy can begin to explain what was going on, Pelaara interrupts her

Why not just use a really tiny twig to enchant it with "weakness"? Seems less wasteful than using several objects of (at least some) worth.

Or better yet, use the lock to enchant a twig, so that it is destroyed immediately.

The least wasteful option would of course be to pick the locks. That way we could still lock something or someone up, or use them to enchant something.

"Well, fine, I'm archer in training as well, my truest occupation is that of a bar tender, but don't fool yourself into thinking I've never felt the heat of battle..." she hints.

"There's a brewery out in the fields and wilderness that supplies beer to the pub I work at. Near the brewery is a lodge with a bedroom that I have the keys to. I think it's a safe place to go next, since Velvia's henchmen will probably snoop around the pub and my house under the suspicion I was an accessory to your escape." she explains "There'll be lots of free beer there" she teasingly goads you.

Well, the lodge will have beds... Hint hint hint.
>>
>>697998
Then while the elf sleeps on the bed we have sex with Smithy everywhere else including on top of the elf?

The elf in this case being treated more like how new couples treat couches than a participant.
>>
Lets bang the elf instead, that orc ass and teeth look unappealing .

Pleb.
>>
>>698304
I agree with the teeth not being attractive nor goblinlike in the first place but to pass up that fine booty? Nah man i can't do it.

Harem endings are for spineless non-commital jellyfish anon.
All harems do is prevent any one girl from feeling secure, locking them into competition with each other until eventually the whole thing breaks down from stress and toxicity.

Why would you want that for someone you love?
>>
>>699363
Not in real life, but keep on mind anon. None of this is real.

Me here, phone posting so I'm not sure the ids are the same.

Well, nah, but don't you like a little verisimilitude in your fiction? People are still mostly people unless written by Stephanie Meyers.

you know, this may work better on tgchan. or several reasons. biggest is tgchan is not a blue board so you don't have to only be ALMOST nsfw. another is that threads last forever with no bump limit, only limit from HTML getting upset with threads over 1k posts long.

but still, it's your thread, you can do what you want with it, just felt i needed to say this.

That actually sounds like a great idea. I might start the next chapter either later today, or tomorrow. Sorry for the inactivity, I've been very busy

That sites slow as hell and full of furrys

That site is a pain to actually find anything on

Ever since the whole /qst/ fiasco all the people promoting tgchan and anonkun came out of the woodwork. And I can't speak for tgchan, but from the quests that decided to relocate to anonkun on a kneejerk reaction I wish they hadn't. I get it, /qst/ sucks reee, but I still prefer 4chan to any of those places.

I like when a QM makes a thread and is encouraged to fill a thread with content because it's not going to be around forever, even on a slower board like /qst/, rather than people moving to slower sites and getting into the habit of doing two or three votes a month.

But that's just, like, my opinion, man.
>>

Agreed. Although I DO think all of them have pros and cons, tgchan is NOT at all a fast board.
>>
>>717144
>>717094
yes, which is why i feel tgchan would be better for this quest. it's a good quest, no doubt, but it is slow. a slow quest on a slow board is a better match.
>>
>>717144
Yeah I've been to tgchan a few times, but I've been more familiar with akun because some quests I liked moved there. And I agree either of those places COULD be good, but from my experience it really just ruined the pacing of some of my favorite quests.

>>717241
And maybe so, looking at the thread is seems like a post a day until recently. Which if that's what the guy that moved to akun was doing I'd be fine with it. I just think slower places would encourage even slower posting than it already is. But obviously I just have a bad experience with those alternative sites; it still depends on how much content the QM feels like posting so it can work anywhere.

I'm confused, I thought quest threads aren't allowed on /tg/.
