Fishermen on the Longfork River have whispered of strange things since the destruction of Nayte; now, these whispers are shouts. A swarm of lunatics have settled in the furthest south-east forest in the realm of Roggar.

The first generation were merely magic-sensitive men and women whose minds were fried by the magic unleashed at Nayte; sadly, the madness is all their children will ever know, along with their own myriad of issues, physical and mental.

Following the events within the portal at Nayte Crater, the unusally competent leader known as "Manman" failed to return. Not knowing (or perhaps caring) why, the drug-addled lunatic Barnaby declared himself leader of his fellows.

In the reign of Nick Ashwood, Barnaby somehow became Royal Admiral, and promptly ignited several Yalmfrid trade ships on suspicion of swampweed smuggling. In the year 251 he was imprisoned for decade by reason of arson, and spent one day a week smoking swampweed with a man named Lee, who acted as his temporary replacement. In addition, he appeared to believe he had successfully seduced the halfling Palidi Moxstep, a delusion which she refused to comment on.

After his release, Barnaby exhibited anger issues possibly related to withdrawl due to the long term swampweed reduction, and experimented with various methods to recapture his "buzz". He died in the tragic sinking of Project Weedboat's maiden voyage.

He was swiftly replaced by a shadowy figure with an apparent affinity for alchemy, who was never seen by the rest of the kingdom. He spent his life researching an unknown project; upon his death, the village of Riverhugger celebrated the first ever Timor's Eve.

Not long after, a young man naming himself Thuzad bullied his way into power. Despite his clean and charming exterior, he harbored dark thoughts within. Still, he buried these emotions deep inside, and spent a long and fulfilling life in service of the kingdom as Pontiff. He passed away on a journey to enjoy his final years.

His supposed bastard son, Alhazred, claimed the title of leader. He soon fell in love with Isolde Godric, their story ending in death at their wedding, due to the nefarious Aapo summoning an eldritch creature to slaughter all present.

One of the larger families of Riverhugger, those called the Beastbloods, pushed for a man called Arugal to lead. He had displayed a surprisingly competent capability for magic, despite his bestial affinity and insanity. Ultimately, he fell in battle against a Minotaur.

With the death of Arugal, a Meneth could reclaim leadership; the mage Medivh. Nobody is quite sure who he was born to or if he even truly IS a Meneth, but they dare not question it.

In ages past men lived simpler lives - they would hunt, farm, fight and always respect the might of the Old Gods. Shamans led the clans with their elemental magic - so it was for many generations, before history was ever written down. The great hero Rog united a dozen human clans into a tribe that would form the foundation of our future Kingdom. One day Rog mysteriously vanished - then came the Great Storm - when it passed, the shamans could no longer feel the presence of the Gods and had lost the source of their magic.
Our civilization would have to progress on its own and so for generations we worked the lands, expanded in numbers and territory. We adopted goblin miners, fought dragons and welcomed a demonic warband. Adventures were had, technology progressed as we explored more and more of the world, largely adopting the faith of the New Gods of the Pantheon.
The Second Horde War was a terrible conflict, mirrored by a civil war within our Kingdom - in its process the mighty Kingdom of Paitras fell and our own Kingdom was greatly damaged, with the city of Nayte and its surroundings being anhilated, ending the lives of all our denizen demons.
After the Second Horde War the Norsemen were united into an Empire and we've been fighting them ever since. We've had both victories and losses, with the Ice Dragons being a mighty asset to the norsemen.
At the end of the 3rd century Paitras was reborn under the ruler of Ezgielath, Verigal.

In the early 4th century the Barbarian Crusades were fought between us civilized nations and the vile heathen barbarians in both southern and northern lands - it ended with the expansion of Roggar to the southwest, but the loss of Paitran lands in the northeast. In the Threemine region a massive earthquake devastated the area and led to the awakening of mighty earthen beings led by an ancient one that calls himself a Titan, whom the lesser ones reffer to as "Father-Mountain". We've also learned of shadowy cabals in the lizard lands that worship eldricht horrors hailing from "The Vast". We went to war against the Barbarian King again, but this time Paitras, Roggar and our new allies, the Pantheonic Centaurs, emerged victorious, expanding our lands.

We have narrowly avoided open civil war on several occassions in recent years, we fought demons that emerged from the reopened Nayte Portal. As the peace treaty with the Norse has expired, some Roggarians wearily prepare for a new war, while others look elsewhere...

As it is the start of a new decade, factions may make a faction project with a 1d100 roll. Council Members may also make a council project.

You've restored the infrastructure and defences of the city and cleared away rubble to begin constructing new buildings - the population is not worthy of a true city for now, but it's a good enough start - as you've previously agreed, ownership over Ishlarg is split between you two. You may decide on a new name for it if you want.

>>699920
You've succeeded in building the first dedicated hospitals in Roggar in your settlemenets! They offer primarily non-magical medication to patients, with healing magic being used where necessary. You've also set up a proper Kingsguard - for now it numbers three men, with the emphasis being put on their quality rather than quantity.
>>699921
In a magical experiment you nearly crippled Lok - you managed to avert fatal consequences, but his physical and mental health have deteriorated. In the navy you've had little success teaching water magic so far - most Pantheonic sailors are completely aversive to pagan teachings, your officers report.
>>699926
You've modernized Trusted Defense. The expansion project was halted by an accident - you started building close to the river bed, but the ground was unsuited for such construction and that portion of the wall collapsed.
>>699930
You've built roadside walls between your two main settlements.
>>699935
You've built a medium-sized temple to Ezdar in Rizon, count it as an asset. Thanks to it you are able to raise fine herds in the Fullwater county.
>>699938
You've encountered trouble from nobles, merchants and their law experts, who have not been cooperative with your efforts, looking to defend their own interests.
>>699939
You've discovered an iron mine not far from Green Haven - this is great for you, since the oldest iron mine in Roggar, which lies to the southwest and is currently owned by the Lordship of Nayte, has been seeing reduced productivity over the last two decades -deposits discovered so far are gradually running out.
You've placed a small amount of spies in the North. So far they haven't given any particualrly insightful reports.

After decades of living in Gardengrove and being exposed to turnips, the vegetable many consider to be a joke, lesser known teacher Vallis Tyrrhis has decided to write a book on the true importance and seemingly infinite uses of turnips, whether it be culinary, tactical, or something else. A book like this would take several years to develop, but its publication would be fruitful, as it could potentially bring forward an agricultural (as well as semi-industrial) revolution.

It has been revealed that the culprit is the massive criminal organisation known as "The White Snow" - they are said to be the true power in the Paitran City of Ravlegith and their criminal network spreads in all directions from there - they have been responsible for many attacks on travelers on the road between Ravlegith and Berlin.
The strenght of their organisation lies in the absolute loyalty that its leaders have to each other, their ruthless methods and their advanced crossbow models, superior to anything one may find in Roggar. The one at the top of that organisation is said to be a female High Elf.

You've expanded southward into the swamps - you've had small clashes with ogres, but those who live in the swamp live alone or in very small communities - not an issue for your troops, bolstered by Doman's Warriors.
In these swamps live frogs, crocodiles and other animals. An interesting discovery was a clearing in the swamp, in which there was a hill - in it you found the skeletal remains of a Dragon, long since dead. This was its lair and within that lair you found a large amount of gold, silver, gems, as well as items of bronze, iron and steel. The question you haven't managed to answer is what killed this dragon and why hasn't its lair been pillaged? It's been lying around for decades at least...
You've settled villages into the swamp - if you want, you may also create a new town with a name - in some nicer part of the swamp or in that clearing, if you want.
In the autumn of 383 King Ottfried Erden passed away peacefully in his sleep. His rule lasted for thirty years and he fought successfuly against demons and barbarians and oversaw a period of strengthening in Roggar.

It is now spring of 384 and a new King must be chosen at the Contest to bear the Dragonbone Crown.

If you wish to put forth a candidate from your faction, YOU MUST state their name, age, race, abilities and what they promise to do for Roggar. Roll a 1d100 along with that. If you don't provide me with that description, I won't count your roll or any other roll you make in this Contest.

You've modernized the Blades, giving them the best training and equipment available and bringing their numbers up to 100,elite warriors based in the Grand Temple of Dragonstomb.
As for the origin of goblinkind, you've consulted both lizard and elven sources - they suggest that in the days of their ancient empires, this continent of ours - which the elves call Setyrias - is not the original home of goblins. Goblins are close to orcs and it is said that both races were brought to this continent from far to the south - the lizardmen, who had a mighty empire at the time, used the goblins as laborers and the orcs as slave soldiers. This was five or six centuries ago and after the collapse of the Old Empires and the death of the Old Gods goblins and orcs dispersed across Setyrias.

In 384 Storm Dragonfist has been crowned the sixteenth Dragonking of Roggar. Long may he reign!

Kogal's explorers also sailed westwards and made a number of discoveries.

In the High Sea there are two rivaling Sea Elf Kingdoms - the Pantheon-worshipping Kingdom of Selaven and the Old-Gods worshipping Kingdom of Yuleyas. The two are long-time rivals and the small islands between them are their battlegrounds. Yuleyas' capital lies on the biggest island we've seen, bigger than even Gajaxlan. It seems the Godrics have been working with Yuleyas, as a Roggarian embassy is currently being established there, while they have set their own embassy up in Dragonstomb. The Godrics have also been given an island from Yuleyas, which they have named "Angel Isle".
The Whitevaynes have had colonies to the north of Angel Isle for many years now and they themselves have had dealings and trade with Selaven, who rule some smaller islands and a larger landmass.

It is said that further to the west, in the High Sea, there is an Empire of growing strength.

Seeing as the peace treaty with the Norse Empire has expired we again face great threats. Roggar’s eternal enemy remains the accursed dragons! And as long as they remain rulers of the Norse Empire we will never be safe. Thanks to our diplomats, led by Godric, effort we have gotten a close bond with the other pantheonic nations which might give us an advantage in an upcoming war.

1) Gather our forces and allies
a) Kingdom of Paitras – will serve as our frontline against the norse. Remind them of their former glory and that they can retake the land the norse took from them. Revenge is they key word here. Their pantheonic magic should be of great aid to us. In addition to their vast numbers. (Backup: offer them some land in the north, but not the thin strip, that is ours)
b) Halfling Kingdom – will be requested to help us with food and maintaining our supply lines. We promise them that without the Northern Empire we will enter into a golden age of peace and prosperity where they will be safer than they ever have been before. (Backup: offer to pay full price for the supplies they help us with in addition)
c) High Elves – will hopefully aid us, as they did in the last war against the norse. The high elves might quite possibly be the most magically adept people we know. Their mages might give us better odds against the dragons. (Backup: Seeing as like 90% of elven “females” are traps we can offer them the possibility to dick the norse that we are invading, maybe even attempt to dick the dragons…)
d) Dwarves (Kingdom of Kragnaal, Kingdom of Ellstelg, Republic of Kelregan, Republic of Kaesvoeg) – will be requested to help with military supplies, dwarven craftsmanship is still highly respected. Uncertain of their military might, but support there would of course be appreciated. (Backup: offer to pay full price for the supplies they help us with in addition)
e) Kingdom of the Steppes – may serve as our strongest cavalry. After the successful war against the barbarian king that we fought together our relations with them should be quite strong. This in addition to many of our factions’ relations with the kingdom should give us a better chance to gain their aid. Offer them the possibility to loot and plunder as we raid the norse.
f) Barbarian King – offer the barbarian king a NAP (Non-Aggression Pact) for the next 50 years or so? As the war is raging make certain that we have strong diplomatic connection to them. If it appears that they start preparing for war again offer them a deal that we will not expand against their land?
g) Frost Giants – plz

Just as we are about to attack the norse the trusted adviser sends this letter to the norse

"Greeting's dragon vassel of the north from the kingdom of Roggar, this letter is not meant for a whipped dog like yourself so be a good pet and hand it to your master the ice dragon." Presuming he does this the next part will read: "Hello once again great defiler, this letter comes from a loyal man of Roggar straight to your own pus filled eyes. I have sent this letter to remind you, you fat fly who lives on dung, that Roggar has not forgotten your deeds. You shit eating reptile whom fucks his own daughters. I dare thee to come south to our glorious land, and will allow you to taint our beautiful land with your mucus encrusted claws so that we may saw your head off, mount it in dragonstomb, and turn your bones into a crown. This shall be your fate knave. We dare you to come meet it and drag yourself away from your mother and daughters bossem. Until then I pick my teeth with a filed down piece of your kinsmen bone and sharpen my blade.

Paitran, halfling and Roggarian ships will transport a part of our forces for an attack by sea, while the larger part of the Alliance forces attack by land.

The naval strike force will seek to capture the thin strip of land connecting the norse subcontinent to ours, while the larger force will attack the Archeport region.

The naval attack is, according to all projections, the riskier of two fronts.

Who will volunteer to take a Legion to that front? You will risk the seas and then fight behind enemy lines, but that is a vital part of our strategy.

Everyone else who fights will be part of the main, land-based force.

The naval strike force will be led by Tor Gunnarson. It will employ only our fastest ships. They will approach the northern lands at night at the best place to cut off their supplies, preferably a city or something.

Ranger Grandmasters will provide men to infiltrate the settlement before hand.
Our norse infantry will storm in taking out as much of the resistance as possible.
Cianan O Dalaigh firemages and golems will serve as our specialist infantry in case of any heavy opposition.
Erden, Inky & Obelix all sends a legion to help to properly secure and hold the location.

The declaration of war was sent by messenger and the armies are marching out!

Roggar has sent close to a hundred thousand men in total now, the Paitrans send similar numbers, the halflings send many supplies along with 30 000 men, the centaurs send 35 000 of their own, from the dwarven lands there are 40 000 troops in total, the elves have commited 25 000 of their own so far.

Hundreds of Alliance ships have set sail now while the larger ground force also marches.

Shortly before the land force reaches Archeport, the naval attack should reach its destination - rolling for it now.

As the main army approaches Archeport, word arrives - the naval strike force has successfuly defeated all Norse fleets in the area and secured the land connection to the North!

The word of this boosts our men's morale. We now approach Archeport, the main Norse hold beyond the Landbridge, one of the old jewels of Paitras, soiled by the hands of these pagan barbarians.

There are some wash ashore solders in naval attack. They report they jumped overboard after Duke Fenris of Godric, want crazy and set fire to his own ship, and killing anyone that oppose him.

They say that he was fighting with himself, but lost. He laid on the Ship and let the fire end his life.

His last thoughts drifted to... his family, and his Grandfather who suffer the same fate. Something he called "The Godric Curse."

Duke Fenris of Godric was Killed in Action, may we find who had done this.

As our forward army was gathered in camp, guards sounded the alarm - a dragon flew over us, but only once - it dropped something off and flew away.

It dropped a crate that landed on top of a tent full of soft materials and we managed to retrieve the crate mostly untouched.

Inside were the heads of Udolf Godric, the Roggarian Ambassador to the North, his wife and her brother, the Jarl of Groenkoestaag, along with Duke Bodolf of Godric.

Within the hour a messenger arrives.
The dwarves have most of their forces back as demons have launched an invasion from the ashlands. King Lurser III, the young leader of the Centaurs, died mysteriously while leading his forces, leaving no heir of his own and most of his Kingdom's forces have headed back as well. Reports have come of our northeastern front troops engagings forces coming in from the mountains and the snowlands.
The most disturbing news comes from Roggar, though.

A large army has marched on Roggar from the south, attacking the lands around the Miva River - they had already occupied Gardengrove when this messenger was sent. They hail from an unknown land. Most of their soldiers are humans, some are dark elves and they are led by Wind Dragons.

It is the last month of autumn...

"If that's how we're fighting it - so be it"
Storm was charging in for his finishing move, the Dragon Uppercut, when a cloud of icy dust blowed over him, but that did not stop him, though he couldn't quite see what he was aiming for, he knew what he wanted to do. The final surprise in Dragonfist's life was the realisation that someone had grabbed him by the arm as he was in a vulnerable position, his uppercut hitting only the air. There was no dragon near him, only a man who used his one good arm to grab him and use Dragonfist's own weight and inertia against him, planting him head-first into the ground with such force that he broke the King's spine.
"Close-quarters-combat, huh" the humanoid figure said as he had mopped up the last enemy against him. Ledevlast turned around and walked towards the command tents. This battle had lasted enough time.

As the sun sets and temperatures continue to drop, the Norse Army pulls back.
On the battlefield tens of thousands of men were left dead from both sides. Of the surviving armies, the Norse had the smaller force - they'd also lost their two main political leaders and Ledevlast was wounded heavily. On the Alliance side there were many such casualties as well though...

This was a horrifying battle with no clear winner.
And what's more, winter has now arrived in the North.

After six years of experimenting with turnips, young Vallis has completed his book featuring over one hundred uses of the turnip. While the majority of the uses are food related (stews, pies, ales, etc.), many have non-culinary purposes. Turnips have proven to be a good form of paste when finely mashed with honey, you can a spread mushy coat of turnips over your skin to hide your scent from animals when hunting, hell, turnips make great paperweights!
With so many practical uses outside of the kitchen, agriculture is sure to rise throughout the kingdom.

Just some notes on the defense of Roggar, if there is a new thread could someone repost this.

The Duchies of Gobopolis and Hist have 8000 trained war goat riders accompanied by large war dogs best for functioning as a hybrid skirmish and Calvary unit.

We can conscript every male minotaur and ogre in the kingdom to act as shock troopers.

Also we will offer a tribute to Father Mountain and hope for some of his children to help.

Mill should raise his banners and flank through the halfling kingdom while the man army gathers at Sancre Tor.

It is winter, the first month of 388. The Alliance Army is camped east of the Norse capital of Kraeverag - we outnumber the enemy, but they have three dragons at their disposal and their harbor is well-defended, so it will be extremely hard to use our own ships to support an attack. Our first assault against the walls failed and we've rejected the proposal that the norse gave us for peace.

The latest report we recieved from Roggar is that the foreign army stands before Sancre Tor - this report is three weeks old though.

It is the second month of the year - normally around this point the snows in southern Roggar would be melting, but they will likely last at least another month here in the North. The weather's been harsh and norse ships and Ice Dragons have been making attacks on our naval supply lines. We've had thousands of soldiers die as a result of attrition - what's worse, scouts report that the Norse, who are used to this weather, have used this time to recover from their own losses.

We're gathered in the war tent now. What should we do?
A.Launch the attack on the capital as soon as the weather allows it
B.Fall back and regroup, our current forces(100k) won't suffice in their current state
C.Assault the capital immediately, the more we wait, the more time they have to gather forces!
D.Fall back to the Landbridge and send as many troops as we can spare back to Roggar

The snows continued to fall down. The norsemen, using their knowledge of the terrain and climate, have been performing raids on our camps, which has slowed down our siege preparations. They've gained confidence, it seems.

We managed to capture a few of them and after interrogating them we've found that a new Emperor has taken the throne, Naggar I's uncle, Torgan. He is an experienced general and has been amassing troops, ships and dragons for a counter-attack on our positions.

We've only managed to build one of the planned siege towers so far. As we gather for another strategy meeting, a shady man enters the war tent. He is a warlock who knows of The Vast - he posesses the skills and materials to summon eldricht beings behind the walls of Kraeverag - for that he requests only our permission to use the norsemen we captured as living sacrifice.

By the laws of Roggar and the Pantheon, Vast worship and magic is deemed heretical and is illegal.

A.Desperate times call for desperate measures - let him do it
B.Execute this heretic! We will not stoop so low as to meddle with the Vast!

The Norse Emperor and his top vassals will all be taken captive. Their soldiers will be disarmed and we'll have to leave some troops behind just in case - we'll work over the details on a later date, the Alliance will have representatives in Dragonstomb where we'll bring the norse leaders to sign a peace treaty.

Our priority now must be to deal with the invaders on the home front though.

We've assembled all our availabel ships in the harbor - we'll use the norse ships as well - this way we'll be able to transport a force of 50 000 men back to Dragonstomb faster than if we were to go back by land.

We have both been under many hardships, we have fought one another, human have killed human, frost giant have killed frost giant. And it was all because of the unjust dragons.

You did not fight for yourselves, you fought for the dragons. The dragons have not only sought to oppress the humans and frost giants in this realm, they have set up a religion to give themselves power, yet leaving you behind. This is heresy both against the old, elemental, gods and the pantheons for those that worship them.

My family left the north when the dragons came into power, we have always dreamed of returning to free the north from the clutches of the Dragons.

This may seem hard, but I will help lead us there. I Tor Gunnarson, son of the proud norse Leif and the Frost Giant Ellisif. Will you let me unite the north, will you let me unite you against the dragons!

The invaders captured Sancre Tor, Falkreath, Nomannic and then found Lakefound abondoned. Through guerilla tactics we've had enough time to slow them down on their way through the woodlands so that we could get a sizable force of faction troops and militia Banners at the Citadel - if that fortress were to fall, they would fall back to the capital, which would be the last line of defence, as it is the enemy's goal, no doubt.

We have 40 000 defenders gathered at the Citadel, 50 000 are coming in from the North.

Scouts reported that the invading army numbered around 100 000, perhaps by now they are close to 90 000.

Our ships set sail from Kraeverag - in about 10 days we'll arrive at Dragonstomb.

What should we do then?
A.Regroup with the defenders, assume defensive positions and await further reinforcements

We send forth envoys, bearing a white banner.

We see that the invaders have erected fortifications for their camp outside of Lakefound - their army must be so large that the walls can't properly house all of them.

A dozen horsemen ride out to meet us. They are humans with exotic features and equipment. Neither side can understand the other's language, but through some gesticulations we manage to convey the message that we wish to meet with their leaders.
We are escorted into their outer camp - we see guards on post, tens of thousands of soldiers - infantry, horsemen, archers. We spotted a few armed dark elves, as well as some black orcs - also armed.

We find ourselves speaking to an authorative-looking human. His clothes are richly decorated. With him he has a Roggarian who is translating.

"You speak to the Great General Yazhgo, leader of this expeditionary army."

So far we've met no serious opposition, but no one's tried to negotiate on behalf of your state either. We have observed the customs of war - those regions that have offered no resistane have not been harmed, while those locals sought to hinder our advance have been treated as enemies and been dealt with accordingly."

We've invited the general to attend the peace talks.

The Northern Crusade has ended with a great victory for the Alliance.

The centaurs have chosen a new leader among them, Hustam I. Their faith in the Pantheon and devotion to the Alliance remain steadfast.

The dwarves, with help from Paitras and the High elves, have repelled the demonic incursions as well.

Today representatives of the Norse Empire, the Four Dwarven States, the High Elven State, the Zhongian Empire and the Pantheonic Kingdoms have gathered in the Royal Palace in Dragonstomb.

Here's an administrative map of the North (sorta).

Give some proposals on what to do with it now and I'll call a vote with options later.
>>
>>705410
1.Dissolve Northern Empire into Northern Kingdom
2.Archeport to Paitras
3. Landbridge to Roggar
4. Set up smaller kingdom along southern coast, fill it with Pantheon following Norse who originally fled the north.
5. Dismantle Northern navy
6. Splitting of Islands between Roggar and Paitras.

The new Kingdom will be of the southern coast, the rest of the North (with the exception of the giants) shall remain the Northern Kingdom. The Emperor's crown will be handed to Roggar.
The new kingdom along the southern coast will be named "Angland" and will have a pantheon worshiping King who is a vassel to Roggar.

Aagebeerad, Viigbeeraarg-Sigevary and Kraevarag will make up the Pantheonic Kingdom of Angland.

Groenkostaag, Sudnaragg, Vareragen, Meiregan and Ozlakmar will make up the new Northern Kingdom with Meiregan and Ozlakmar being de-militarized.
They may not settle any further north or seek any reunification.

Oh and one last thing on the topic of the Islands that need to be distributed.
Eigersil to us, the lesser islands of the north should go to paitras, and the ones in the east should be split up between us
>>
While everyone thinks he is done. The Trusted Adviser silently leans towards the Norse delegation and quitely whispers, his vocie dripping with venom
"And finally... The Ice dragons. All of them shall be killed and hunted down, you will forever swear them off and declare them your enemies as they are ours.
If you should manage to kill Ledlevast then you may come to us and we shall restore whatever liberties the king at the time feels like bestowing.
And whomever kills him shall be rewarded with riches untold and fame immortalized..."

Angland and Norsland will be the two Kingdoms, with a west-east divide. Draconic worship will be banned, Pantheonic missionaries will be able to influence them further in the future, perhaps. We won't go too heavy on the tribute, but we will demilitarise the Norse.

The treaty has been signed, but now there is another matter that must be decided on.

Roggar's King fell in battle - a new one must be chosen. It is Spring of 388 and a Contest will be held!

Anyone may be a candidate!

If you wish to put forth a candidate from your faction, YOU MUST state their name, age, race, abilities and what they promise to do for Roggar. Roll a 1d100 along with that. If you don't provide me with that description, I won't count your roll or any other roll you make in this Contest.

If you wish to support another candidate, roll a 1d10.

Let the Contest begin!

As part of a new policy set force by the dragon commander any conflict of leadership over a legion will be settled by the rolling of a six sided die.
If the highest number is rolled by two people they shall roll again until there is one winner.
If the issue is not resolved between those wishing to command a legion those who argue for the position shall become tribunes assistant commanders and a noble will be chosen from those who wish to have a legion but have not called for leadership of one yet.
