You are a Goblin.
Vile, sneaky and stupid creature. Hated, despised by almost all races, you're killed on sight in most places and chased away everywhere else. It's an hard life, full of violence, death and slavery. Orks will uses you as canon fodder for theirs war against humans and elves, dwarfs hunts you since a long time and other goblins will probaly try to scam you or kill you to take what little you possest.
Yeah you are a goblin. But you are a lucky one and in you're little brain, you forsee your fate. A great destiny, you'll be a being respected, feared by all !
The Goblin King !
Or at least you'll find a mage who will morph you into a dragon... Yeah... a dragon !

Frist of all, let's decide what weapon/equipement our little green one has. The highest score on a d20 from the five first Roll will see his choice made reality. Remember the story is set in a medieval era. You can give him a speel if you want – warlock goblin can be pretty cool ! But you can give him only ONE thing.

PS : I know the art is not perfect, it's not meant to be, i'm just having fun.

A Sickle it is.

You're going out of your cave. The night is young but the darkness fit your vision and the land seems clear as day for you. The rusted curve of your weapon craving for violence and blood as much as you do for power and glory.
Where will you go ?
To the north, the mountains, houses of dwarfs and Trolls. To the East, facing th ocean, where the biggest humain cities flourish. South, paying a visit to the Ork's tribes and other green skins as yourself. Or maybe West, to the Elven Forest.
>>
As always, biggest roll on a 20 decide, but as for this one, i'll will only wait a while, not a precise number of roll.
Thanks you all for participating !

The deep red of the blood spill out into the night, on your extatic face and on the colored coth of the now dying human. He opens his eyes, looking at you with incomprehention and terror.
The horse stat to panick, sensing the ironish smeel of blood.

You stand up as the last spakle of light leave the eyes of your spasming victim.
You feel profondly satisfied.

As you turn aroung, you see that the horse has bite the cord to the point of cutting it. In fear, the animal decide to run away from the little monster that just killed his master.

After the feast you are almost entirely covered in sticky blood and the body is largely gone. You belly is full and roung. After a big burp, you feel better. You decide to take the construct of leather and paper, now stained by blood and little pieces of flesh. You're almost sleepy but you continue your way toward west.

The rest of th night is calm. Almost to much. And, after a while, you found a little bush away from sight, you decide to sleep here for some hours.

Yes, females are allies, males are food... well, Goblin logic?
>>
As you approach the woods, you hear a clear lauf in the wind.
You turn aroung and quickly you see a nearby river. Between th trees, a little waterfall is visisble. The stream of water form here a little pool where a female silouhette is swimming. You get close sneakily. The closer you get, the clearerer you percieve the volptuous body of the elf. You feel distinctive hungers growing in you stomach and... lower in your body.
Her hair are golden, her skin is pale as cream and she swim gracfully in the cristal clear water.
But, as you are almost close enough to see her face, she seems to her you, her long, pointy ear perceving your footstep over the watersounds.
She quickly get out of the water, covering her body in a large piece of cloth.

“How is here ?”

Si ask with not a single bit a fear in her voice. It is a this point that you se her eyes. They're white, enterly and a large scar, probably from a claw go sideway on her face. Shi is blind.
Her voice is warm ans soft when she speak again.

“Don't be afraid, I won't be mad a you for peaking a little... I would too if I could.”

her lauf is honey to your hear.

What will you do ? What will you say ?
>>
"Pretty one. It is I, your friend. Come closer." Play the harmless Goblin, the little Goblin, she can't run away.
"Where do you come from?" Are your friends nearby, hopefully not, or maybe elves taste good?

As she hear you voice, her face seems to change, less welcoming, colder.
She cover herself a little bit more.

“You... are not an elf are you ?”

it seems that your “sexiest voice” is sufficient to not be spoted as a goblin, but clearly not enough to pass as a elf. She quickly grab a long staff of white wood, graved of runes and symbols, a large cristal on top of it.

“My name is Neftaelle... and I can handle myself on the road. Thank you. And you, who are you ? Are you a human ?”

The way she prononce the last word means it's not a really good idear to be one.

You decide that the elven slut deserve to die for her attitude. Calling you useless.
You follow here all day, from a more than safe distance, warry of her hearing. It's not easy but goblin are naturals at hiding and sneaking and you manage to stay off the radar until dawn. She walk long after dark – probably not a hindrance for her – then she settle in a grove of tree.

And the magic adventure begins! Overpowered Goblin? Nice!
>>
As you pick the sstaff, a voice start talking. Coming from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. It's the voice of a men, you can't really putting a race or an age on “him”. He seems kinda pissed off.

“A goblin ? Really ? A blind elf and then a goblin... my my what will be next ? An ogre ?”

The voice take a deep breath.

“So... what sould I call you ? Master I guess, your race is fond of that. I'm a Aegar, thet mythical staff, and you're now my new user... damn it.”

As the voice echo in your mind, the staff seems to adapt at you size, becoming just a little bit taller tha you. It's warm in your hand.

“I want to be a DRAGON”

He seems to be... surprised.

“You what ? I mean, this kind off magic... it's really powerfull you know ? Every mage on the continent will know what you are doing !”

You don't seems to care and he understand quickly that you will not give it up.

“Master, i'm afraide that I will be destroyed in the process and...”

You don't let him finish as you scream.

“A DRAGOOOOON”

“As you wih, master.”

A storm gather upon your head.
Twirling, flashing. The staff in your hand seems hotter and hotter. You feell profond change in you. A pain like no other, as all your bones were broken, heated, hammered, then put back together inside your dying flesh.
The world seems to become smaler and smaler around you. The staff is just a stick in your massive sscaly hand.
Your breath is burning, a second pair of arms grow on your back, becoming large wings, your skin become tickier, covered in green scales.
You are now... a Globin Dragon.

As the morphing finnaly end you feel all mighty.
You look at the corpse of the female elf, now she is the size of your forearm. A deep powerfull lauf come from you troat. Elves can do nothing to you now, maybe you'll show them !

You try to tke off, make a lot of dust, a little bit of wind and then, you remember a thing : you don't know shit about flying. You then try for several minutes to take off... in vain. Seems like you'll have to go to the nearest village by food. Thankfully, your new leges are powerfull. You're surprise by your own speed as you run toward the elven wood.
Your wing take the wind of your course and, miracle, you manage to go up several meter before falling again, then going up again.

When you're finaly at the forest, you don't know how to fly, but you managed to get off several times.
But at the entance of the foreste, a group of elves is waiting for you, armend with bows and defiant looks.

“It's... it's the monster the mage told us about ! Kill it !”

What will you do ?

Using your momentum you rush the little group, half a dozen of pointy hears. Theirs arrow flys in your direction but your new body is incredibly nimble and you evade danger without a problem, leaving them in despear as you ar finaly on them.
The first two dies in a instant, crushed by the sheer weigth of you new body. Another try to unlesh his ssword but you spikey tails break his body in tow, percing his leather armor like paper.

The trio of survivor try to back down, sword in hand, fear in eyes.

But it's clearly not as easy as that and you'll need a safe hiding place to do that... you're not quite here. You decide to leave the zone, going deeper in the forest, in the oposite direction of the elves.
What will you try to lean first ?

Moving, flying, your dragon breath ?

Flee, we may have better control, but we still can't get many people at once.

Once again, you are forced to flee in front of the pointy ears.
But this time, it's a large number of them and you're not ashamed to stay alive – can you even feel shame ? - en you quickly go deeper and deeper in the wood. You body moves gracefully as you run aways from the elven army. They can't even keep up with you, as nimble as they are, you're way most.

After an hour of running in the wood, you can't really yell where you are, but you can't hear them anymore.

>>
>>73550
Also a good thought, but we need a way to show the orcs our power. We'll never get respect without our breath.
>>
>>73504
Once again alone, you decide it's time to see if, like most dragon, you have that magical breath that strke fear in any oponent. As you seen earlier, you cannort just spit it, but you don't really understand what you should do.
After a while, you finish to get a strange feeling in your troat.

But ass you are almost here, a group of three elves approche you with great speed.
The first one is in a golden armor, armed with a sword, a large blue cape is flying behind him. His two compagnon are female, one that look like a mage and the other equiped with a large ssilverish bow. They seems clearly strong.

You're alone again and, if the meat seems tasty, you hear in the distance the enemy army approched. After all, this group was probably sent a much in hope to kill you than to gain time. You can take one of them with you or just run away once again... or maybe go into a frontal attack ?

Let's go for deep cave.
>>
Rolled 14 (1d20)

>>74174
I think the caves would be ideal. Caves generally harbor tribes of goblins or orcs.
>>
Rolled 17 (1d20)

You should try and practice flying whilst hiding.
>>
Rolled 11 (1d20)

>>74174
Do our wounds heal? Regeneration?
Or do we leave a blood trail behind?

Hide and regenerate!
>>
Rolled 11 (1d20)

Caves and meditate to use our regenerative abilities to heal our wounds
>>
Rolled 10 (1d20)

Fly, remember, push down trying to catch air, lift up trying to avoid air, this motion maximizes lift.
>>
You finaly find a deep rocky cave.
The inside is fresh and dry. You lefted a trail of blood behind you but they're not much you can do about that, you hope that it'll rain or that the earth will have absorbed your blood when the elves come back. Once in the cave, you sleep for a long time.
Your transphormation, the fight, the pain... you fall in a dreamless sleep.

But the world continue to turn.

1-5 A squad of elves has followed you 6-10 The cave is the hiding place of a group of bandits 10-15 It's the cave of a lone bear 16-17 It's juste an empty cave 18-20 Your wish
>>
Rolled 4 (1d20)

>>74219
Come on orc tribe!
>>
>>74227
oh fuck.
>>
Rolled 12 (1d20)

Bring on the drow, they already occupy the cave
>>
Rolled 15 (1d20)

Lets hope for an empty cave. Or some bandits, I'm sure they would like a taste of the acid spit.
>>
>>74240
What about grey dwarves. they've been known to worship dragons.
>>
You forgot to rollerino friend >>74254
>>
>>74254
True, but drow would rejoice to hear that the elves are weakened
>>
>>74250

As you fall into slumber, heavy footsteps get closer. You try to wake up as much as you can but you can't seems to gather another magical breath. You're too wounded, too tired to use that again. You hope that'll only be a lone human or something.
A massive silouette enter the cave. Not as big as you, but clearly in a better shape. It's a brown bear, and you're visibly in his home. He growl. He sees your wound, smeel your blood and the beast seems not really afraid of you.
>>
>>74266
Oh shit you're right.
>>74274
they would also almost certainly betray us.
>>74278
Talons to the face.
>>
Rolled 3 (1d20)

Realize bear is just big rabbit, eat.
>>
Rolled 7 (1d20)

Give him a tail swipe and some slashes to the face. Try and intimidate him with your size.

>>
>>74328
You use all of you size, occupying as much space as you can, growling way louder than the animal. As you almost full the cave the bear decide the cave is maybe not worth a fight with a creature of your size. He get back slowly, facing you, until he's out of the cave, then, he runs away.
Tired by this supplementary effort, you fall asleep immediately, and sleep for almost a day.

When you wake up, your wound hurt way less, but you still not in a good shape.
What will you do ? Continue to run to the south ? Try to find something to eat and recover more ?
>>
Rolled 5 (1d20)

Flee south, recruit first job old you see.
>>
Rolled 16 (1d20)

>>
Rolled 5 (1d20)

We need to eat to recover, if possible we should also try to mask our trail
>>
>>74384
You decide that the growing hunger that you feel since a while is to be satisfied.
Plus, I you eat, you'll probably recover quickly. You decide to go out to hunt. The sun is low, the day is young. You see no elves in the vincity and you decide to go hunting.
You're not really used to hunt in this new body but you can move freely.
What will you do ? Earching for a village and the cattle ? Some wilds animals ?
>>
Rolled 6 (1d20)

>>74404
This wouldn't be a problem if we learned to fly
>>
Rolled 9 (1d20)

Everything is food.

Rolled 20 (1d20)

>>74447
Combine these two.
>>
>>74451
>>74468
Our wing is damaged. We need to let it rest.
>>
>>74447
You decide that attacking a village might be a little to much after your recent fight and the creature of the wild seems to fear you quite a lot. You go to a southern forest, as far as possible of the elven forest.
You search the wood for some time, and, finaly, you sport a hard of deer in the distance. As soon as they spot you they start to run but... to slow for you. In a burst of speed you catch up to the slowest of them. Your talons almost cut the animal in half, you grab another between your teeth and the other runs away.
Godd hunt.

You devour the delicious flesh. It does not have the particular taste of the elven flesh, unforgetable, but it still good, even more with the hunger you had.
Two deer suffice to almost fill your belly and your feel way better after this.
You're almost good enough to go without worry... will you go or will you go back to your cave to rest again ?
>>
>>74506
That was all membrane, not that big a deal.

Rolled 7 (1d20)

Rolled 14 (1d20)

>>74521

>>
Rolled 16 (1d20)

>>74586
Roll for this.
>>
You decide to go back to your cave, even if the elves might come.
Once here, you decide to get the arrow out of you wound and try to flap them a couple of time. The pain strike all over as the mouvement of your muscles scretch your skin. You decide to put the fliying training on pause for a while. With a full belly and no more arrow in your skin, you decide to sleep again.
You only sleep an hour, the sound of a marching group wake you up. It seems to still be far away but if you get out of the cave, you'll be spotted for sure... what will you do ? Wait here to ambush them, go all out once again ?
>>
Rolled 13 (1d20)

Flee.
>>
Rolled 6 (1d20)

>>74623
If the cave goes deeper hide in the shadows. If the cave doesn't go anywhere get out ASAP.
>>
Rolled 19 (1d20)

You decide to go out in a burst to escape the elves and evade any form of combat.
But, as you run out of the cave, the ennmy is waiting for you, at a safe distance, a large line of shied, ready to deflect, even partialy, your deadly breath. Dehind them, three large group of archers are aiming at you.
The sky is blackened by a upcoming rain of elven arrows.
Of death

(Dice is the attack of the elves, do better to evade it)

Run away!
>>
>>74703
Hero!
>>
>>74703
We bow before the might of your timely 20.
>>
>>74703
You run amongt the rock aroung th cave.
The volley of elven arrow fall all aroung and you manage, by pur luck, to get out off it unscratched. The elves seems as surprised as you are and you can run a long distance before they react, slowed by their formation.
After a long pursuit, you manage to lose them in a deep forest leading south.

You spend the whole day going south, not making the same mistake twice, at least your injuries are healed enough to not let a trail of blood behind.
When the night comes, you are as tired as a dragon can be and you almost fall asleep on the spot but, not far away, you see lights. Firecamps, a big number.

Hold everything, orks vs. orcs is a very important difference. which is it?

As you get clother, you can see the large blue and golden flags, you rappidly get that it is clearly not a Ork army as you wished but a human one. They seems heavily equiped and in larger number than the elves you confronted until now. The fight do not seems to be the better option, but you have the element of surprise.

Will you countourn it, maybe to tell the ork ? Or attack them ?
>>
Rolled 15 (1d20)

Hit and run, making them wary of you, slowing their March on orkish/orcish lands, then go warn orcs/orks.
>>
Rolled 8 (1d20)

>>74841
Move past the army and go warn the orc tribes.

Rolled 9 (1d20)

>>74841
We're hurt, so we better not attack them.
Do we know where the orcs are? Then run to them, warn them - they can protect you while you recover as well.
>>74861
Yes!
>>
>>74855
You decide to attack the human, but, this time, not with a full frontal charge. You have learned it the hard way, stealth can be usefull. Using the greenish color of your sclaes you get close enough of the army to prepare a breath of acide, but, what will you target ?

The men aroud the fires ? The guards ? The tents ? The chariot ? The horses ?
>>
Rolled 16 (1d20)

>>74877
The horses. It'll slow them and may even force them to turn back. Without mounts they'll never be able to catch up to us before we warn the orcs.
>>
Rolled 8 (1d20)

Horses, also, which kind of orc/ork
>>
>>74895
I was thinking D&D style orcs.
>>
Rolled 15 (1d20)

Target the horses and follow the acid breath with a vicious attack on the guards try and kill as many as you can before they start to fight back. Flee once they have gone into formation,
>>
>>74916
Thanks, I panic a little wheneverI see "orks"
>>
with the effect of suprise, you mannage to comme close enought to hit the horses. the ones you didnt change into mud, panics and run every way in the camp running over numbers of officers, stoping them from giving orders, disorganising any acctions the humans. what to do
>>
Rolled 2 (1d20)

>>74968
Let's go get some orc followers.

Rolled 2 (1d20)

Continue raid until you face resistance, then flee.

Rolled 6 (1d20)

>>
>>75133
Please no.
>>
>>75136
Ok. I won't.
>>
Lemme guess. The op is trying to figure out what subjugulate means.
>>
You try to subjugate the human but, for most of them you just scare them.
Unfortunatly, since you hit their horse and not their line of command, they're still organised.
Rapidly, a formation is in place. People run aroung, a wall of shield is putted in front of you, archer arm their bow and the general give his orders.

(sorry for the wait, I was getting tendies)
>>
>>75159
I'm french not retarded xD but a man has to eat you know ?

Rolled 1 (1d20)

Book it. Warn the orcs. They're more experienced with this stuff than us anyway.
>>
Rolled 16 (1d20)

Run away towards the Orc tribe that you know of.
Tell them that a big human army is on its way and you will fight with them. Quickly, before the Goblin Dragon brain changes its mind again!
>>
Rolled 20 (1d20)

>>75171
Not subjugate subjugglate. It's basically killing in a simultaneously hilarious and terrorfying way all whilst honking. It's an extremely effective means of psychological torture and just straight up murder.
>>
>>75205
So, Captain 20... unreal
>>
>>75205
Holy shit. How can someone do this well?
>>
What the actual fuck!
>>
>>75228
Can I have some of that luck?
>>
>>75202
As the army get in formation, you decide to run away, leaving them with fear of another raid and a lots of death even if it's mostly theirs horses. No one seems to pursue you – tey're probably too occupied getting the remaning animals and calming the scared men.
You take a short brake, an hour away from the army, then, you contine your way until the nearest band of orks.
They're not really easy to find, most of them are nomads, but you manage to find a little army of green skined brute.
As you approch, they get ready for a fight.

“A Green Dragon ! The elves sent him !”
>>
>>75205
... I admit i did not know that word, i took it for a typo.
A nice 20 for... nothing ?
>>
Rolled 17 (1d20)

Speak in the goblin language, and tell them of the humans army nearby.
>>
Rolled 6 (1d20)

While technically true, I am no friend of the elves.
>>
>>75261
It's actually strange, the more logic is your statement, the lower your roll is...
>>
>>75251
I was attempting to reiterate my command to subjuggleate the himans, but this is fine too.
>>
>>75273
I did pretty well with my diplomancy roll at the beginning of the thread, but that seems to be the pattern now.
>>
Rolled 11 (1d20)

I guess, go back with the orcs and subjuggleate the humans?
>>
>>75255
You rappidly take your most goblin tone and speaking in you native language.
The ork seems first suspicious but when you tell them about the human army and th havock you caused they start to get more and more excited. At the end of your speech, the ork cheftain is almost ozing of bloodlust and you can feel the hostility in the air – luckly not toward you.

“Goblin Dragon ! Guide us too the flithy Pink Skins ! Let's kill them and eat them !”

They're less numerous than the human, but a least they're clearly willing to fight. Counting th men you killed, it will be a two on three. Will you take the risk ?
>>
>>75255
>>75241
It seems you've received some of that luck.
>>
Rolled 13 (1d20)

Yes, the dark messiahs were by our side twice this day, tho the gods did not understand what that meant. Slaughter is not spelled without laughter after all. Subjuggleate the humans.
>>
>>75317
A good enough chance. Just let the orcs get into melee first, we can do that without being too obvious! And then we enslave the surviving orcs! harharhar! Masterplan.

Accompagned with the small army of a couple hundreds orks you go back to where you seen the human army.
Using the day it took you to make the trip, the army is in way better shape than when you left. But their cavalery is in so little number that it's gonna have no impact whatsoever on the fight. Unlike the green skins with you, they have archer and lancer, but the brutality of “your” troops probably compensate for they lack of discipline.

The orks begin tu scream a battlecry as you get closer and closer of the humans. A firt volley of arrow pierce the rank of the orks but, guided by their berserk like rage and their massives muscles, only a few fall and fewer dies.
In front of you, the spearmen created a wall, ready to impal the frontline of the barbaric army, the swordsmen and cavalery wait on the flanc, probaly to get you circled. But you knew what was gonna happen and you came ready. Your only a handfull of meters away when you unleash on you ennemis the death of your breath. The line crumble. The lance are turned in a pubble of diluted metal and wood and the humans scream and dies.

As their formation is broken, you decide to use you cry, the myghty HONK HONK.
The ork goes in full berserk and the human remember this sound, striking fear in their heart !
The human formation goes to chaos as the ork plunge in it, killing with a smile on their face.

You face the general and his personnal guard, with hallberd, ready to kill you. But your scream has shaken teir resolve and when you charge them, a third flee witout a look back. You claws, teeth and tail kill humans by handfull. The fight is one sided, human blood is covering the earth.
You eath the general under the scared look of his men.

The survivor surrender themselves and become slave of the Ork.
The green Skins decide you should be the chieftain now.

For the years to come, the Warg of the Green dragon pillaged, killed and raped on th south frontiers. More and more Orks came to enlist and it took a full alliance between Dwarfs, Human and Elves to stop your advence.

Legend says that the green dragon survived and is waiting, healing in a cave, to gather once again a greate army of green skins to take over the old world.
>>
Rolled 20 (1d20)

Orc meat is a tough material, would take days to stew properly, tho the broth is decent, as for human, it is very diverse, you shouldn't get bored while you wait for the orc to become tender in your stew.

>>75521
Too late, sorry.

I'm going to sleep guys ! It was fun, tank you all !
I will probably make another of this another day. Sorry it was a little bit sloppy at the end, i had to eat and get away from PC !

Thanks OP that was fun.

>>75556
At first I had my doubts about having only one post matter for the decision instead of a consensus. It sure leads to sometimes absurd and brutal options ...but they're entertaining. A group would probably never conclude to do some of the stuff.

Thanks for running the quest! I had fun with the little Goblin and then the dragon.
