PREVIOUSLY: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Magical+Girl+BomberThe five of you rose above the hedges on a cool pleasant afternoon. Before you now was the Speranza compound, a wide mansion that befitted a man of Don Speranza's girth and pomp. Several armed guards were already patrolling the two meter high stone walls, cut carefully to present a fine architectural picture. It was if the mansion itself were lifted from the idyllic Italian countryside. Figures considering Speranza's background, it wouldn't surprise you if he bribed a union to build this place personally to his specification. Far enough away from policemen to make response times long, and secluded enough from the city to make it quiet and nice.Perfect place for someone who wants to hide.“Alright,” you say. “I go in first. I'll bust open an alternate entrance for you there.” You point to a window by the pool. “But first, I want to try and find Don Speranza. Gatsby will give the signal when the three of you should move in, got it?”“Got it!” says Knives. “And might I say, Liberty, you are looking absolutely dash-”“I told you, I'm not LIBERTY!” you hiss quietly. “Now hide!”Anneliese quickly hugs you, before saying, “Good luck.”Hmph, you don't need luck. You just need God's will. You quickly mosey on up to the front gate, holding a satchel of cookies by your side. You see, you were wearing a wig and a girl's scout uniform (a spare one that Liberty had on hand in case of issues), which marked you as a girl scout selling some cookies to these palookas. The two guards up front stare down at you as you walk up. “Hey, hey, dollface.” One of them holds up a gloved hand. “You know where you are?”“Of course!” you say eagerly. “I'm in New York, selling some cookies from my troop! Would you two fine men like some free samples?” You reach into your satchel and pull out a box of cookies. They glance at each other, then shrug. One of them takes a box, tears it open, then eats up one of the cookies. His eyes light up. “Hey! These ain't half bad.” He offers the box to his friend, who takes one, and has pretty much the same reaction. “How much?”“Ten dollars a box,” you declare. They choke on their cookies for a second. “What? We gotta make money.”“Ah, I see, little Jew we got here,” says one of the mobsters. “Listen, if you think we's gonna pay ten bucks a box for these cookies, you got another thing coming.”[1/2]
>>724667[2/2]“Well...” You swirl your finger through your hair. “I mean, maybe we could negotiate prices inside with your boss?” The two chuckle lightly, incredulous. “Come on, I know Don Speranza's in there.” They stop chuckling. “I won't say anything if maybe we could uh... settle a price and I don't tell the cops?”The two guards look at each other. “One sec, miss.” They quickly step aside to discuss this. “Whaddya think, Lou?”“I think she's scamming us, maybe the cookies are poisoned.”“If they was poisoned, why did you eat one?”“You said it was good!”“It could be poisoned good!”“Look, say the cookies are good. And you know the boss likes his cookies, and he likes nice young girls like her too. I mean, you see the size of her...” The guard makes a grabbing motion with his hands to his chest. “That ain't no kid, that's a woman.”“Ugh. Alright, we introduce the kid. We get cookies, done deal. If the boss don't like it, your fault.” The other guard shrugs. “Alright, kid!” You smile at them. “You get one shot. Any funny business, your parents are gonna be crying over you in your nice pine overcoat.”With that, the guards escort you inside past the lavish garden, the fountain in the driveway, and up the smooth stairsteps into the mansion. They open up the door, looking around. “Right, stay here. No funny business.” The two guards decide to leave you to sit in a chair by the door. “We'll be back.”And you watch them leave, and hear them get out of earshot.> Prepare the alternate entrance.> Wait. > Prepare the alternate entrance.Time to prepare the alternate entrance for your girls. You quickly tiptoe your way over the carefully waxed floors and through the lavish mansion. Man, you can't imagine living in a place this big. There's almost way too much room. What are you going to do with all this space? No matter. You hurry to the back, then quickly find a window by the backyard pool. “Gatsby,” you whisper. He appears out of thin air, plopping himself down on the windowsill. Alright. You carefully undo the lock here, then crack the window open ajar. “Alright, Gatsby, you watch this window. You'll know when to send for the girls, alright?”“Alright,” he says. “But be careful.”“When am I never not careful?” you ask brilliantly. “Now, once this is done we-” You hear some footsteps. OH DAMN IT. Gatsby quickly goes poof and disappears. Well thanks a lot, Gatsby! You look around, uh, uh, paintings, knight in armor, no that's too big, vases, cabinets, CABINETS! You quickly rush for the cabinet and shove yourself inside.…You get a very shaky feeling down your spine. You slowly peek between the crack in the wood. “Hm...” Oh no.It's him.“Something the matter, Doc?” The Witch Doctor, along with a pair of mobsters.“I smell something,” he says.“Oh, sorry, that's me, I had something spicy this morning,” says one of the mobsters. You place your hand over your mouth, trying not to even breath. Please don't find you, please don't find you, please don't find you. Please, please, please...“Right,” he says. You peek out again, and see them round the corner again, out of sight. > Sneak your way to the Don, wherever he is.You poke your head out of he cabinet, sighing deeply. Okay, you're good, you're alright. You quickly head the opposite way. “Hey!” yells one of the guards. “Where'd that girl go!?”“Start searching, she can't have gone far!” shout another. Okay, cover might be blown, but that's fine. You just have to search through the mansion and find your man. You poke your head through a doorway into a random hallway. Please be stairs, or an elevator, anything heading upstairs. You hurry down the corridor, your footsteps masked by the soft carpet beneath.Wait! You stop, skidding to a halt. Stairs! You quickly head the flight of stairs, then into the next hallway. Here the windows light up the place from the backyard. You look around, just this hallway and the corner at the end of it. Man, whoever designed this mansion must have have gotten lazy. With that, you hurry down to the other end, quietly. And there, you find a set of double doors. You gently sidle down towards it, then test the knob. Not locked.Okay, these doors look important. Yet they're not locked. Either it's a trap, or the Don hasn't realized someone has invaded his home just yet.…You're going to assume the latter. You open the door. And there you find a huge office space, backed up by the light of the sun behind the big chair and the big desk. Everything else seems shrouded in shadow. On the wall, above the fireplace, is a very lavish painting of the Italian countryside, and next to it is a wall of guns hanging on it. Yep, this is a Don's office. You pull out your pistol from beneath your skirt, attached to your stockings, then cock it. “Don Speranza.”He turns around in his chair, holding his hands up. “Well, well.” He smirks. “If it isn't our littlest thorn in our side.” You step up to him, squinting at your eyes at this pathetic waste of space. “Should've figured you'd try to sneak in.”“And you think a bunch of wiseguys with guns was going to stop me?” you ask.“I'd have figured you'd try to shoot your way in,” he says. “Guess I was wrong.” You roll your eyes. “You want that Jewel, don't you, girl.” You nod. “Well, I ain't going to tell you where it is, young lady. That's no business of mine.”“You know where it is, and you're going to tell me,” you growl. You reach across the desk and place the barrel against his forehead. But he remains cool as an ice block, glaring at you. “Tell me, or I'll paint the windows with your brains.”“You're not going to shoot me,” he says smugly. “That's not you. That hasn't been you for years, Shadow.”…goddamn it he's right. He wheezes, laughing outrageously. “Soon as my boys come in, you're done for. You nod to him.He disappears. You and Don Speranza watch as Anneliese, Val, and Knives hop over the fence. Several of the guards turn to face them as they make themselves known. Knives loudly directs Anneliese and Val to head into the mansion, while she deals with the guards. The guards, numbering at least ten or fifteen in strength march up to Knives to stop her.And what follows is simply too horrific to describe. Blood gets splattered all across the grass. A man's arm ends up in the pool, staining it with red clouds. One man's scream is so loud you can hear it all the way here through the window. Don Speranza steps back, right into the barrel of your gun. “... Jesus Christ, who the hell is that?”“The person you'll have to answer to if you don't answer to me,” you declare.Knives holds a struggling and writhing man under her arm, locked in. She quickly slashes his throat open, letting him bleed onto the grounds. She wipes the blood on her blade off on her sleeve, then looks up at the window where you and him watch. And to you, Knives blows you a kiss, winking at you. Don Speranza sweats intensely, shaking in his shoes. She starts walking closer.“I-... I ain't telling you a thing,” he says shakily.“You will. Or you'll have to tell her that,” you say quickly.“If you think you can scare me with-” The window suddenly shatters as a knife grazes the Don's ear. “AH!” He screams, leaning forward onto his desk. It's in the basement where I keep everything else. I-... I can show you! Just don't let her get me! Please!”“Please let me get him,” says Knives. “I like my boys like I like my pork, fat, moist, and shaking with fear.”You grab the Don by the collar, turn him towards the door, then march him with your pistol in his back. “Go.” He nods, walking along. Seems you didn't really need the alternate entrance anyway. Oh well. Maybe you'll learn what's necessary and what isn't from Christine. The three of you keep marching, until you find Anneliese and Val. Anneliese holds a shotgun while Val looks out the front door. “Hey!” Anneliese hurries over to you. “What has happened? Where is the Jewel?”“Downstairs,” you explain. “The Don is going to lead us to it.”“I beg to differ.” You all freeze in place, then slowly turn your heads to one of the hallways. There, standing in the doorframe, backed up by two largeset mobsters, is the Witch Doctor. He spins the cylinder of his .357 magnum Smith and Wesson, glaring at all of you. “I knew I smelled you in here. Next time I really should follow my instincts.” He points his revolver squarely at you. “And next time, I should actually make sure you die.”You pull the Don close to you, holding him as a shield. Please work, please work. “Wh... what are you doing!?” he shouts. “Wh- wait! Wait!” He holds out his arms to the Witch Doctor.“You do anything, I'll shoot him,” you say firmly. And to that, his response is to blast the Don in the forehead. You drop him, and his corpse flops onto the ground. Anneliese gasps in shock, while Val and even Knives step back in silent shock. “Did you really think I actually cared about him. His so-called 'manpower' has proven time and time again to be worthless.” He responds by blasting his backup before they can respond, they fall over dead in the hallway. The Witch Doctor simply takes it, the buckshot flying right through him. “Worth a shot.”“The basement door.” Val points to a door at the other end of the kitchen.
