"It's ready."

You stand weakly. The monks had already drawn much of your blood to prepare the necessary ink for your seal. On waking up, you were told some of the council of monks had fainted on seeing your design, while others began to pray right there and then. You'd made what was believed impossible, what did not even exist hours before.

Now, to apply it.
The young monk, finally introduced to you as Chiriku, stands in the shaded stone doorway to your cramped guest bedroom. He and Rin will be assisting the monk Tai mentioned before in applying the tattoo seal.

You stand with a struggle from the cot. Chiriku guides you down the halls, but stops you outside a stone door.

"The frailty of your constitution is a subject of great concern among the monks, Amon. The procedure will be long, a day at least, and it will be painful. Historically, it was suggested the chakra of the one to be sealed should be disrupted for the entirety of the procedure...but nothing quite like this has been done before. If we did that here, you would invariably die from the collective stress and trauma your body has undergone.

Rather, we have decided to position our own monks in the room to stifle any sort of attempt at possession by the spirit within you. Should this fail...we would suggest one of your companions be prepared to restrain you until a seal can be made."

"Who will you choose to stand guard?"

>Tai: he is your most loyal companion. He's been with you from the start and he'll see this through to the end
>Asa: she is by far the strongest of your group. If anything goes wrong, she'll be the one to force it back.
>Yoru: You're not sure, but you think if anyone could think up a plan on their feet it'd be him.

>Your name is Amon Shuu, a humble monk of the Water Temple.
>You have no family to speak of, another one of the many casualties of the 2nd Shinobi World War. Your luck pulled through when a wandering monk, Myatsuu, snatched you from the debris of a border skirmish between Konohagakure and Kirigakure with your village having been reduced to rubble in the midst of battle. You were 4 years old. The monk, Myatsuu, brought you back to the Water Temple in the marshy coastlines of the Land of Water.

>Nearly 14 years later, the Temple- your home- had fallen to attackers from the Village Hidden in the Mist after a young girl, Rin. Leaving to honor your duties, you travel across lands to deliver the merchant, Yoru, safely to his destination. You acquired the Red Beads, demonic artifact of a legendary sage gone mad, and accidentally released them from their seal...and into your own body.
>For the safety of your friends and the world at large, you have spent the past three days creating a seal to contain the curse, the Seal of Babylon.

>This is where your story begins.

Tai is also assisting in the application of the tattoo. Best to have him focus on that. Asa is pretty strong, so she could hold us off for a while.

"Asa can keep things in line."

Chiriku nods and leaves to fetch your companions as you enter the door. What greets you is a massive, enclosed hall of carved bedrock columns with an altar on the far side. Between each column a Fire Temple monk sits on a thatched mat, two candles to either side of each of them providing the majority of light in the room. To the far back is a small, raised stone dais covered in various cloth linens. Surrounding both the altar and dais are various tools and implements: Brushes, three large jars, bandages, a strange needled contraption, and sealing tags.

The monk in charge of the tattoo ritual stands aside the dais, waiting. He is older and has notably long earlobes....

W-Wait...

The monk gives you a knowing glare as you approach, before motioning to the center of the dais.

"Take off all of your clothing."

You begin to protest, you're in a room full of people! Your close friends are going to be here, can't you at least...

The long-earlobed monk has none of it. "One thing that WILL remain intact today is this ritual. If you want to be tattooed, you will take off all your clothing."

Embarrassed, you strip entirely and sit in the center of the stone platform, facing the altar. The monk gives you a blindfold, which you take from him confused.

"Wear this for the entirety of the procedure. It's required but...it'll help."

You tie it around your head and your world goes black...

The one stern-looking guy, Tai, walks in front of you. He's shown a total of two facial expressions so far as you've noticed...serious and contemplative.
You don't think he's quite the type of person for pleasant conversation...

On the other hand, you have the fuming princess next to you. You remember Amon called her Rin, but she hasn't even tried to talk to you yet. A blind man could see the innocent girl has a crush and feels threatened by you. But then again...
You flip your hair.
...who wouldn't in this case?
You'll win her over later, somehow. She's a bit more venemous than you'd like, but you have something more important at the moment. You resist the urge to summon Usagi. The last man, Yoru, shrugged when the monk had come. He's said he wasn't sure he could help much with this, but he'd be by later in the day to watch.

Opting to observe for the time being, you test your bowstring as you trail behind the monk Chiriku. He leads you to a creepy door built into the foundations of the temple.

It seems like it leads down into the earth...normally you'd be turning the other direction by now, but....
you enter and go down the stone steps, which exit into a stone mausoleum of sorts. So, this is what a Temple is like...?

You can't help but feel a little amazed by it all. This is a sight few could ever hope to see.

Chiriku takes you to the far side of the hall, past columns of monks softly chanting, and to the altar. Sitting in the center of a stone dais, Amon...

Your eyebrows raise.
~Oh my~

You already feel the heat radiating from the younger girl next to you. Seems like your call was spot on.

You look at Amon, seemingly naked except for a linen loincloth, sitting on the stone dais...and turn back to the monk in front of you quickly. You close your eyes

You have a job to do now, Asa. Stay focused.
He's counting on you this time. Unlike before at Kikyo, you have this under control.

A deep breath and you open them again and approach Chiriku, currently talking to Tai. He stops as you approach, whispering something to Tai and pointing across the Hall. Tai bows and walks off. Chiriku adresses you fully.

"Asa...Amon spoke highly of you. He truly believes you to be the most talented here, in fact."

You brush your hair behind your ear, a little taken aback.
Stay focused, Asa. You already know you're the more than capable, pay attention.

"I'll be straight with you. We expect things to go south during the ritual. There is no way that the sealed spirit, Bishamon, would not take notice of what we're trying to accomplish here today.

It is not a question of if rather than when it happens. Amon is weak, VERY weak in fact. He will only get more depleted during the course of the ritual. The seal will be applied in three parts, layered one on top of the other. We are relying on you to observe and- if necessary- restrain Amon during the process should Bishamon gain possession of him. We will work to take care of the rest."

You nod. "Understood."

"Amon is relying on you, Asa.. Do not let him down."

Your hand drifts to your throat as you turn to look for a perch of some sort...you remember the last time Amon was taken by that monster. You can't risk being too close like that again, you have to take the initiative here.

But, your eyes fall upon something else instead. Rin is still rooted in place, face as red as a cherry. She stares at the blindfolded Amon's lean, sinewy figure on the dais with a mortified expression on her face. She doesn't even notice you until you crouch down slightly to whisper sweetly in her ear.

"Good Luck. From the looks of him...you'll need it."

She jumps on the spot, horrified, and shoots you an anxious glare. "I-I-I don't know what you're talking about!!"

You chuckle. "Of course, my mistake...I'll take my leave..."

You walk past her and stop, a smug grin crossing your face as you think of something.

"Oh, and Rin...I'll be the only one watching, so if your hands happen to ~slip~..."

You laugh as Rin looks like she's swallowed a frog and tries blustering something that only ends up coming out as sputters. You utilize the shunshin and make your exit, high into the stone arches in the ceiling.

It seems they're beginning, and the young Rin realizes as much as she snaps back to reality and rushes over to take her spot with Chiriku and a monk with long earlobes around Amon.

You tie the unweighted end of the chain to an arrow. There are few targets it could pierce in the stone room...
You may have to shoot Amon with it if things get out of hand, but knowing your skill it'd certainly be nonlethal.

You take out the Fire and Lightning sealing scrolls, setting them down next to you and peeling off the adhesive shutting them.

Is...Is it getting hot in here, or is it just you? No, no it's definitely getting hotter. It has to be. Yup, not you.

O-oh man
You think to yourself, staring at the platform in front of you. On it is...Amon....is...
Were his shoulders always so...broad? You can see the muscles rippled in his tight neck...rolling layers of brawn spread out underneath, bulging along sharply-defined curves before splitting to his two, thick laterals and down...

......

I didn't sign up for this

Is it getting hot in here?

"Good Luck. From the looks of him...you'll need it."

You nearly scream, but can't stop yourself from physically jumping when the voice coos in your ear.
OH GOD, THEY KNOW.

You turn, horrified, only to see the smug face....
Oh, it's HER.

"I-I-I don't know what you're talking about!!" You manage to bravely defend yourself from Asa.
You start to think of some sort of clever comeback, something you can throw back at that blue hussy. You can already imagine the look on her face. She-

She just laughs at you and walks away. "Of course, my mistake...I'll take my leave..."
Yeah that's right, you better run!
God, your heart is pounding. You should probably go check what the others are up to. You...well, one more look wouldn't hurt, if it's for, uh, educational purposes...right?

"Oh, and Rin...I'll be the only one watching, so if your hands happen to ~slip~..."

Your heart stops.
Oh God, SHE DOES KNOW

But you wouldn't...I mean, you and Amon are...it's not like that!
Forget it, w-what was that comeback you just thought of, uh...
uh...

Asa laughs and shunshins up to the ceiling in front of your eyes. You'll get her next time, just watch! Wait, weren't you doing something?

You, turn and sprint towards the platform and that-which-will-not-be-mentioned, taking your spot next to Chiriku just as the older dude with the weird ears starts talking.

"....need to act quickly and precisely. There is no room for error. I have gone through the effort to retrace the designs he provided, split into three layers. Additionally, I will both post a copy on the front of the alter and talk the both of you through the patterns of the design." He hands you and Chiriku three small scrolls and points to the stone face of the alter in front of you, a paper depicting a diagram of a body covered in fragmented symbols stuck to it.

Chiriku speaks up, "How will we know what inks to use?"

Surprisingly, Amon opens his mouth and speaks openly to the air, unable to see directly due to the blindfold. "The Seal of Babylon is triple layered. The first, The Iron Armor Seal fractal, tattoo onto me using normal ink, please. I can add to it later, probably with Rin's help."

You feel butterflies in your stomach. This...is going to be a regular thing?

"Next, you'll need to use the mixture of ink and blood to paint the Admantine Chain Seal. This...will be rather long, I admit. I apologize, but try to stay focused. It will extend off my body and most likely to the corners of the room. Make sure not to step on the ink.

Finally, tattoo the Four Seals fragments across my body using my blood exclusively. It's not the cleanest thing, but I know you all have the courage for it."

You look over one of the jars to see a mid-sized pool of deep blackish-red at the bottom. Your stomach loses the butterflies and starts to shrivel a bit, you look away a bit grossed out.

"Lastly...thank you, for everything. If things don't go right..."

"That will be enough, Amon," the earlobe guy stops. "If there are no other questions..."

You manage to whisper to Chiriku out of the corner of your mouth,"What do he mean by 'if things don't go right...?'"
"It means you need to run. You'll know if things go wrong."

That...totally don't sound ominous.

"So...what part am I tattooing?" you ask earlobe guy.

"I will be tattooing his back and his neck, the largest and the most difficult portions, respectively. For both the sake of modesty and his steadier hand, Chiriku will handle his lower body. You, Rin, are in charge of his torso and arms."

Oh, okay. This doesn't seem too bad then, you guess.
You grab the tattoo needle-thing as Chiriku moves the pot of ink onto the dais with the three of you. Amon stands and spreads his arms wide, a look of tired determination carved like stone into his face.
As you step up, you take your chance and whisper to him, "It will all work out Amon, I promise. Just stay strong."

He flashes a brief look of mild surprise, before giving a genuine smile back to where he heard your voice. "Rin? I was wondering where you were. That's supposed to be my line!"

You can't help but smile at his sincerity as you turn to....to...
Taut biceps greet your eyes, along with an entire rack of abs. Your knees start shaking a little, nearly giving out. You realize you're staring wide-eyed.

...this isn't fair.

~The First Layer~

>>773316
>>773322

The hall grows disturbingly quiet as you and the other two guys start the tattoo. The only sound in the background seems to be the underlying hum of the monks' steady chanting in the hall. It doesn't feel...good. Judging by how the others look, everyone- no matter how focused- easily feels the palpable tension in the air. It's....ominous.

But, at first it seems to be just your nerves. The three of you steadily apply the complicated designs traced about. It isn't too...ah hell, it's hard- REALLY hard. The designs are complicated and fragments are everywhere. It just looks like a collection of random swipes and ink splotches to you. Whats up with this? You find yourself continuously looking back and forth from the scroll in front of you and back to Amon's...

...you don't think you're going to get used to seeing that pack of abs. You nearly mess up and jab the inked needles out of line when the bark of the monk in charge snaps you from the revelry. You find yourself getting a headache as you continue Amon's design though.

To Amon's credit though...he doesn't react to the tattooing almost at all. Even as the needled equipment pierces his skin over-and-over....
Even as pool seeps from the skin slightly and drips onto the linens below...

Not even a twitch.
What a champ...

By the end of it, the first jar of ink, only filled lightly, is empty. An undiscernable pattern of dashes, dots, and lines cross over Amon's upper back, legs, chest, and arms. It took a couple hours, but looks like it's done. You sigh with relief. Okay, maybe that wasn't too ba-

...Oh wait, there's two more.

~The Second Layer~

>>773336
>>773341
>>773346
>>773347

Everything falls apart.

You'd begun the second layer in earnest, trying to just get through this inky ordeal...

Yeah.
Then you saw the design of the second layer.

Amon wasn't kidding. This...this is huge. How it's supposed to all end up on his body is far, far beyond your understanding. This would...no, is going to cover the room.

The tattoo monk hands you the scroll, it has separate diagrams for repeating, individual sections of the chained seal. You skim through the diagrams...they're pretty complex. thankfull, you reach a defined break.
Okay, this is hard...
Okay, this is VERY hard, but at least this is all of the seal. You roll back the scroll a bit more out of curiousity to see a FULL ROOM DIAGRAM detailing MORE formations and placements.

You nearly want to drop the equipment right then and there, when your aggravated puffing catches Amon on his bare neck. He shudders with a soft gasp, surprised by the sudden sensation of something other than the constant, prickling pain. His abs begin to glisten with a small amount of sweat.
...okay, fine.

You continue painting the seals with the blood-ink mixture provided in the pot. It had taken all three of you to heave the full jar onto the platform.

It wasn't until you were delicately swiping the patterns onto Amon's arms that everything went wrong. At first, you heard the light panting, but did your damned best to ignore it. Then, he started shuddering.

Okay, it's only cute for so long. You turn back to tell him off when you see it...
His muscles are clenching, twitching rapidly. Two dots of deep RED seem to pierce their light through the eye cover. A red vapor seems to crawl from the open corners of the blindfold, trailing in the air above. The room begins to get colder.
...A-Amon?

Chiriku notices finally, "S-SHIT! It's happening! He's turning over!"
He and the other monk run back towards the others in the room, but you stumble back and fall on the ground.
The chanting gets louder and more forceful in the room, drowning out the increasingly louder groans of the sealed monk.

You look on in horror as suddenly, he speaks in a voice....that isn't his....
You remember it from your nightmares.
CHILDREN OF LIES, WHAT FOOLISHNESS IS THIS?
DO YOU THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE THE COMING FIRE?
SUBMIT YOURSELVES TO THE WILL OF THE NINSHU.
BECOME ONE IN ME...AND EMBRACE ETERNITY.

He slowly turns to look at you on the ground. You know he...it...can see you as clearly with the blindfold on as without.

SPAWN OF DEMONS, YOUR HOUR HAS COME. YOUR LIFE IS FORFEIT.
TO THE ABYSS ARE YOU NOW BOUND. FROM ITS DEPTHS HAVE I COME FOR YOU.

N-no...Amon...Amon, please..
THINE JUDG-

Amon grabs his head, crying in agony. He falls to his knees, his eyes no longer red.
"N-NO. N-NOT. T-TO...DAY!"

He is shuddering with intense pain.

You still watch, paralyzed with fear, when rough hands grab you from behind and lift you up with an iron grip.

It's Tai. You see Asa in the rafters, her bow drawn fully back and nocked with a chained arrow.
He holds you behind him as another sound fills the air. It's a soft prayer.

Amon repeats the mantras out loud to himself, arms clasped around his torso.

The body of faith shall burn away impurity
The bones will transform into relics of the Buddha
The ordinary mind will rise from coals of wisdom
The heart shall become diamond
Yea, as I walk through the valleys of death
I shall not fear evil
Thy truth is the staff, thy love is the light
In search of treasures, I shall't not succumb to the abyss
The Ninshu shall guide me

Slowly but surely, he stops shaking until he takes a deep breath and rises to his feet.
"I'm sorry I scared all of you. Please, let's finish this."

~The Third Layer~

After several hours the second layer is completed, thank god. Strangely, you start to see how the seal connects now. The first layer seemingly attaches to sections of the second layer's chains. Together, they complete a pattern entirely themselves. Hunh.

Chiriku manages to bring the final pot onto the platform by himself quite easily. You lazily dip your newly-cleaned equipment into the jar...

...and watch as they come out a deep, blackish-red color.
Oh, right. Blood.
...you decide to pretend it's ink anyway.

You tatto the blo-INK seals into Amon, slowly and precisely. You think...you're seeing the final design. The Four Symbols seal seems to encircle the former seals and interlock exclusively in areas left blank before.

Amon...how did he make all of this...?

"Rin," you hear a voice weakly speak to you from above as you're pricking his abs complacently with the not-blood. You look up to see a frowning Amon.

"I-I'd never try to hurt you. A promise...is a promise."

You feel your heart leap into your throat briefly, before you sigh and jab him with the needles again- eliciting a yelp in response. You're too tired for emotions at this point.

"You know better than to talk. You're weak enough as it is, Amon. Stop acting like this is the end, you big softie. It'll be over soon, 'kay?"

He pauses, chuckles a bit, then goes back to his attempt at stoicism.

>>773376
After a little longer, you think you might feel a good fraction of Amon's pain but in the form of a headache. You can't tell time in the cavern, but it's definitely your bedtime. You only have a few more sections left...

When the three of you tattooing the monk leap backwards in surprise as he suddenly bursts out in a monstrous roar, shaking the cavern to its foundation:

IS THIS THE POWER YOU HOLD SUCH FAITH IN? THE FLIMSY WORKINGS OF A CHILD ARE YOUR LAST HOPE?
MY.LAW.IS.DIVINE! MY WILL, AB-SO-LUTE!

This time, the two monks drag you back despite your protests. As they retreat farther, dust and small chuncks of rock crumble down from the ceiling. This...this isn't good. You can stop this, somehow! If this keeps up...

But, to your own horror and disgust, it is stopped...
The saving grace to the entire ritual rushes onto the scene in a flash of blue.

The quaking earth slowly steadies itself...as Asa embraces a dazed Amon in a deep, passionate kiss. She whispers in his ear.
Amon...man of your own heart...I know you are stronger than this.
Come back to me, if you would...
Our journey together is only beginning~

"A-Asa...?" He looks at her, dazed but senses regained.

....Oh, that sneaky bitch.

>You are now playing as Amon Shuu

You feel the sweet sensation of Asa's lips yet again...

It's enough to overpower that intoxicating surge of power you remember too well.
That you were nearly consumed by.

You take off your blindfold to see her, warmly smiling back at you.

"I knew you could do it, Mister Mighty Monk," she flicks the bottom of your chin as she back away, teasing you even more.

You turn around to see the relieved faces of Tai, that one earlobed guy, and...

...why...why did Rin look so mad?

Regardless, you beckon them all back. This needs to be finished, once and for all.

************************************

The seals are finally completed. You do admit...you're incredibly relieved to be free of that prickly hell. Your body hurts in ways and places you couldn't have imagined.

The long-earlobed monk puts down his instruments. "My part is done. I must admit, out of all the projects I've constructed over the years...this...this is the most impressive."

He glares at you immediately. "I swear on the Ninshu, if you and your reckless friends destroy this too, I-"
You gesture apologetically until you placate the monk.

"So, I'm curious...what's next in your grand plan?" Asa cocks her head at you, teasing. "Collapse another cave? A fish tattoo on your big toe?"

Well...this, actually. You give Asa a knowing grin before you slam your palms to the ground.

"SEAL OF BABYLON: ADAMANTINE CHAINS OF HEAVEN! LOCK!"

The chained patterns across the room and on your body glow white hot and feel as much too. You weather the waves of burning pain as they turn red, then bright gold, and finally start to shrink.

Asa, Rin, and the others look at you with sudden concern as your face contorts in pain, your body feeling like it is being compressed in a flaming furnace as the seal creep their way onto your body slowly...

...and finally, it is over. You collapse onto your knees, your head slumped towards the ground.

"THAT. WAS. INCREDIBLE!" Calls a voice from the front of the cavern. An wide-eyed Yoru is practically bouncing with excitement as he watches the last moments of the grueling, excruciatingly painful ritual.

You feel yourself passing out...

"I...couldn't have done any of this without you...thank you." you mutter, before struggling to look up at the stubbornly pouting Rin. "I'd hug you and all, but my body is pain manifested."
She frowns down at you, but eventually her face goes softer. "I...I guess you'll just have to owe me double later then."

You start to laugh back with the girl when SOMEONE WALKS UP AND HUGS YOU FIRMLY.
Yoru laughs heartily to himself and the stunned group, "Haha! CONGRATULATIONS! When I heard your plan, I didn't think it'd look so spectac-"

Amon: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwHWbsvgQUE"

The group sits stunned at the sudden scriek of pain. Yoru looks like he just saw a murder.
You look at him, dead in your eyes. "Well I'm glad you at least had a good time."
And pass out on the spot.

Oh boy Kushina is either gonna be upset at us for knowing secret clan shit, or amazed that we are good enough to do this kind of seal combination. Soon we'll have to study bijuu seals to spiff up Rin's and any other jinchuuriki.

How does Tai feel about the whole ceremony thing? What were his thoughts as events were going down?

Any hints on how Rin's squad is gonna feel about Rin being alive and head-over-heels for some monk that's tattoo'ed to hell and back?

How's Minato gonna take all this? I mean, he's probably gonna hear that we fucked up the Mist Swordsmen, so that's a thing.

Is Orochi gonna be a problem with wanting to know about seals?

You feel warmth shining down on your face. You open your eyes to a sunny sky and green grass around you.

A light humming floats about your ears as you notice the itching, tugging sensation on your chest. Looking up you see Rin kneeled over you, her hands glowing with a faint green light. Her peaceful expression breaks as soon as she spots that you're awake.

"A-Amon! Thank goodness, you've been out for a while. It's been two days...we were worried about you. I was worried...I'd thought the sun and air would be better those empty stone rooms and stale beds in the Temple."

You groan as you feel your skin.
...why are you shirtless?

Anyway, it'd be hard to notice the aching pain still welling throughout your protesting limbs and body. The skin over the wounds is fresh and most scabs and such are healed, though your body is still pink and raw almost all over.

But across your shoulders, chest, arms, around your neck, down your spine, crossing your waist and down to your feet...
The Chains of Heaven lock your body awake entirely in their inky prescence, with the exception on your head and face.

The Gates of Babylon.

The world seems a little warmer now, for some reason.

So the tattoos look like red and black chains on Amons body?
>>
>>777495
Actually blood becomes kinda brown when it dries. At least in my experience with blood stains.
>>
>>777506
Thanks, serial killer anon. Brown tattoos would look sort of weird though
>>
>>777495
The First (ink) and Third (mostly blood with some ink for durability) layers will stick out. They'll look like a sort of tribal design appearing and reappearing, interlocking across his body.

The Second Layer (chains) was painted on. It will fade in time but for now it is still freshly stained on Amon's skin.

When used, the chains of the seal will glow regardless of whether the original painted markings remain
>>
>>777511
It would mostly blur with whatever skin tone we have. Remember that no matter what color tattoo you put on your body it becomes a but faded after like a day.
>>
>>777520
WELP THERE GOES WHATEVER THE FUCK I JUST EXPLAINED. I hope isn't glowing too brightly.
>>
>>777530
Third layer would be more brown, so think of them as black and lighter brown chains.
>>
>>777530
Pretty much only glowing when you materialize the chains

The scene from when you passed out is still freshly painted in your mind. You ask Rin about the events following it.

Tai had carried you from the room by himself, not allowing anyone to see you for nearly a day. He almost caved to a demanding Asa, but everyone was turned back to allow you to rest until stable. He was particularly vehement Yoru be allowed nowhere near you.

Rin managed to convince him, though she won't say how or why Tai let her.
"It's...a secret," she asks when you push the question a bit more. You decide to drop it for now.

Since then, things have been quiet around the Temple. Part of the damage to the outer walls was decided to be "unreparable," much to the chagrin of a certain, long-earlobed monk. However, the efforts to reseed the vegetation around the battle site have gone swimmingly. The backyard is looking to be rebuilt and they decided the cracks in the courtyard added "character". They conglomerated what materials you collected and constructed during your research into the deep corners of their own library.

Whenever you would need it, you can come back for it. You have most of the key information in your journal as is.

As for Asa...she seems to have been getting quite comfortable. Which is to say, Rin's only spotted her out and about on her own pretty often. Asa seems to be making an effort to get on everyone's good sides though, as she's been pretty sweet to Rin lately. She doesn't get along with Tai...but you've seen her and Yoru together a few times as she practices archery. He'd always have one of his papers out, showing her something.

In fact, Rin notes, she hasn't seen Yoru without a pencil and paper as of yet.
It seems like everyone has gone back to their own routines with you out-of-comission...but they're still waiting for you.

"Hey, Rin...where are my clothes?"

She looks at you sleepily for a moment before her eyes widen and she jumps up, head looking right and left.
"I-I-I was just healing your wounds, that's all! This wasn't for anything else, okay?!" She tosses the clothing at you, pulling her Konoha headband a bit lower to cover her eyes as she sighs.

"Just cover up already."

"How are you?" You ask the abashed girl. She looks at you warily for a few moments before she holds her hand to her heart, a bit downcast.

"Do...do you think everything went well at the ceremony? Are you happy? Some...weirder stuff happened, after all."

Rin smiles to herself, apparently feeling a little better about something.

"How does everything look medically?"

Rin shakes her head. "I'm no Tsunade, but I'd say you're through the worst of it. You may want to stick to books for a little while, if you can even stand to after how much you've already read."

You stand...although it is painful, you would hardly put this as anything nearly as debilitating as Kikyo.
You're just...exhausted, really.

You tell Rin you'll be back in a bit as you resolve to find Tai. Rather, as you pass up through the doors leading into the temple, you bump into a surprised Chiriku.

"So, you're awake then? Good to see you in one piece. Your friends have been rather worried...and rather antsy. But, if you have a few minutes the council would like to talk to you before your departure."

You agree, accompanying the monk to the council chamber yet again. They doors are open wide now, allow a fair amount of fresh air and light to permeate the room. Yet, the only people there are the High Priest, the antagonistic priest, and the monk who was in charge of your tattoo ritual.

Ah, Amon, we were just discussing you. Please, join us

The high priest calls you over, jovially. The one who antagonized you not even that long ago even is scowling at you less. Earlobed-Monk still eyes you carefully, prepared for when you inevitably break something important in the room.

You did it. You made the seal. To say we were surprised...well, surprised would be an understatement

But, this is no time to rest! You must be vigilant. Bishamon may yet still be working a means to escape. You cannot allow him to seize even the smallest opportunity.
The grumpy one cuts off the high priest. The earlobed monk takes his chance to scold you as the high priest stares down the man, annoyed.

Remember what I said, now. Keep that intact, or else. The seal is strong, but can be forced open if you let it fully unlock for too long. When unlocking the Seal of Babylon in battle, DC checks will begin as a randomly generated number between 1-4 and double every round. Strength and Speed are boosted by 1, while stamina by 2. Additionally, any nearby allies will suffer full effects of the leeching. The passive effect grows every by +0.25 every three threads, making for a stonger effect against allies and enemies.

The high priest just waves off the men before he reaches into his robes and hands you a small, hinged box.
We await news of your success with bated breath. Consider this a token of our support. It belonged to Nasam of the Five Gates, a masterful sage who excelled in the storage and release of chakra. Use it how it was meant to.

You take the box in awe, putting it away to look at later.

What are your plans going forward?

>You want to take a closer look at the tailed beasts going forward. Collecting their energies would hinder Bishamon bit-by-bit.

Just smash them with his bulk? I mean, if a monster fox is the size of a small mountain, an octopus thing is the size of a large one, and a tortoise is literally an island, how big would a whale be? Especially if he's a blue whale. He'd probably be the size of a continent or something.

You head off towards the first spot you think Yoru would be, the backyard where you had the campfire. You're off a little bit. As you reach the site you see an enthusiastic Yoru coversing with a practicing Asa. As she fires another arrow at a tree, he cups his chin in thought before making several concise gestures in the direction of the shoot. Asa looks back to the man curious. With a nod, she shunshins onto the roof and around to what you'd guess is the site of your old battle with Hoki.

You approach Yoru, interested. "What's up here? Seems like you've got a idea in the works."

Yoru realizes someone is talking to him and joyfully notices you walking across the grounds. "Amon! It's so good to see you up and about, champ! I have to say, while I normally don't like tattoos I may just make an exception...you manage to make it work."

"Ah yes, our dear Blue Lady and I have been conspiring a little. She mentioned the fight with Hoki in detail and I couldn't help but think of a few things that might've come in handy in the situation. She really does have a good eye for potential in these kinds of things, though.
It's refreshing, to be sure. It's not everyday you meet someone so receptive to your talents, eh?"

He laughs heartily. "But enough of the banter. I'll be honest, Amon, I made a mistake back there. I acted without knowing the state you are in. I hope you didn't take it personally."

You wave it off, it was hardly anything- what's a little pain, anyway? You're friends, after all. You ask him about the plans Rin mentioned earlier though. You can't help your own curiosity at the odd man's inventions.

Yoru breaks into a wide grin as he tells you how Asa has been suggesting different approachs to the invention he showed you before, The Handheld Kunai Launcher. Apparently adding a tactile aspect to the normally mechanical process Yoru would use has been paying off.

You wish him luck and head back to see Rin, part of you hoping the Blue Kunoichi would sweep in to flash you that smile of hers before you'd left.

She chatters excitedly with the freshly-shaved monks. She rubs their fuzzy heads as they giggle and pretend to fight her off when she notices you approaching.

She jumps up, much to the disappointment of the kids. "Amon! I thought you'd have been busy with someone else by now..."
She sulks a little bit, looking up to a flash of blue over the Temple.

"Well, I'd heard a rumor there have been a few haircuts around here..." You start nonchalantly, casually walking towards the kids. "...Obviously we have to see whose head is the fuzziest!"

You crouch down in the group of kids, letting them feel the longer stubble on your head as you tell them stories of how you'd all get your hair shaven at the Water Temple too. You slip in how Tai *may* or *may not* tried growing out a beard once...only for you to shave it off in the middle of the night.

You give one of the giggling children a pat on the head. She pulls something out of your robes and jumps at you, trying to get you to look at it. It's a small necklace with a little, single shell looped in its length. She hands it to you, expectantly.

She...wants to give it to you? You don't have any need for it but...
You think of something. "Rin, look at this!"

Rin, who'd been watching the scene with a smile, scoots over. To her honest surprise, you put the small trinket around her neck. "It looks good on you."

The little monk child walks right and plops down between the two of you, holding your hands as she plays with her feet.
Rin's smile grows, then gets softer. She rubs the small child's head and in return the little monk rests her head on Rin's chest, falling asleep within minutes.

You look on the peaceful scene and the contented look on Rin's face. She notices you looking and holds your gaze steadily for a moment...before the blush in her cheeks reaches a deep crimson and she looks away, petting the yawning child's head more frantically.

"Yo!" A relaxed Tai calls from the gates of the Temple. "Are we heading out anytime soon?"
Rin nearly falls over hearing another voice. The child stretches back awake, gets up, and runs off after her friends.

You get up as a chatty Yoru and amused Asa round the corner of the Temple Walls.

Well, looks like we're about ready to go. Tai holds your pack and the Wen Qu up in the air, expectantly.

You continue to wait...but nothing else seems to happen for the next several minutes.

After a while, your companions have just decided to take this as an opportunity to rest. They sit about around the thick forest path as you continue waiting for anything.

You see several small blots appear on the page, it seems like there's something else about to be written.

Thoughts of what you may have just set into motion still linger in your head.
You write a smiley face on the scroll, hoping to ease the tension. As you trace the brushstrokes across the page, the ink underneath seems to melt into the scroll underneath and disappear.

Nothing happens.

You write in the scroll, "The man in the flowery kimono is named Hoki and has the Swift Release Kekkei Genkai. I bought this scroll from him. I'm sorry, I didn't know this was secret."

The ink melts below, but still nothing happens in response.

"I just stumbled into something terrible, we need to keep moving. We may have some company soon." You startle your companions as they scramble up to grab their things in a rush.

"What happened? What's the issue?" Yoru asks, concern in his voice rising.

"I looked at something I shouldn't have, I think."

As you begin to roll up the scroll to store back in your bag, you see the familiar sight of ink slowwly bleeding across its pages.

I know where you are

You shove it into your pack and brandish the Wen Qu as you continue through the woods. Nobody is saying a word, now on tense alert for the first sign of trouble.

In the following segment, you will be traveling through a forested region of fixed size. I have a grid on my end. Every round, I will name a number and you will roll a 1d10, first three rolls count. If you land that number...events will happen.

You think on your feet as you make your way down the narrow path.
"Asa, if you were being hunted, what would you do?"

The kunoichi stops in front of you, giving an inquisitive eye. "So, we're being hunted now?"

Sharp as always, Asa.

She slows down to walk beside you as she thinks. "Well, first I'd make sure I'm standing next to the strongest person in the group..."

"Then, I'd most likely set up a distraction of sorts. A rabbit for them to chase, if you will. Next, I'd probably line my path with traps, leaving obvious clues alongside them as bait. But, I'd make the trapped clues harder to find to throw them off the pattern later. Finally...I'd simply prepare an ambush if I knew their numbers and end it there."

You hold any ideas as you call out for Tai to stand by Yoru, who looks around onfused on hearing his name all of the sudden. Tai nods curtly, leaving Rin's side and standing at attention next to Yoru.

The path around you is knotted with roots and branches. As you keep moving forward you pass by an oddly-shaped tree, its trunk seems to be bent almost parallel to the ground and it's branches droop downward into the mud below.

It reminds you of a hunched old man. A lone raven caws from the highest branch, watching you curiously.

You take a deer trail to your left, following the sounds of running water. As the six of you crunch through the brush underfoot, you ask Yoru if he has the map of the area.

He nods anxiously and pulls out the colored parchment, handing it to you. "I made sure to get the best possible from the monks back at the Temple."

You look at your position on it. It is pretty detailed...but only depicts the main road and any landmarks along it, you note the last part from the small dot on the map labelled "The Weeping Oak". The rest of the surrounding area is simply depicted using the standard "woods" label you see on the legend. You put the map in your bag. At least it's something.

The sound of burbling water gets louder as you approach a thin forest brook among the trees. The bark on some of the trunks around you is deeply scarred with blade marks. Another one nearby has burns up and down its length. Stuck into a tree over the running stream is what looks to be an old and mossy headband tied around a rusted kunai.

This must have been the site of an old battle of some sort.

>>
>>780013>>780019

They're a secret organization of operators. We broke their cypher and read their communications. They're not just going to say "Oh, you! Anyone could make the same mistake, don't worry about it" even if they believe we're just some random monk they won't take chances.

I mean, Sai's final test to enter was kill his best friend. Do you really think people like that care if you're actually a threat or not?

Well then let's just keep running from them until they believe that we're some counter-operator that they didn't know about. For right now we still have the excuse of just being a monk that got a scroll from a travelling companion and had no way of knowing what was behind the cipher

You amble through the dead brush and over to the stream, ignoring the rusted kunai overhead. Crouching down, you drop the scroll into the stream. With a light splash of the murky, greenish waters, it sinks below the surface and into darkness.

You sigh with relief. That's a problem solved, looks like. Something catches your eyes before you can get up though.

Looking up at you from the dark depths of the stream is your own reflection. But...but in the corner of your eye you spot something in the image. In the murky ripples, you see rough shape in the hazy reflection of the tree overhead...and the whites of a single eye glinting in your direction...

In your growing distraction, you don't notice the large, growing shadow below the surface of the water....

That's because there are things involved like fuel and bullets and such. If they're already here, and only need to stab us with a sword, what cost is there?

ROOT is also more akin to a group of fanatics with special forces training than a group of special forces.
>>
>>780155
What, why? I actually kinda like this, it's pretty interesting.
>>
>>780165

Oh well that's just fuckin' great then, I thought ROOT was just deep black ANBU. So if I'm understanding this correctly then we're just supposed to constantly be looking over our shoulder for a group of singleminded assassins who almost certainly outclass us who only want us dead and we don't have any chance of talking our way out of this?
>>
>>780194
Now you're getting it! But you forgot the part where they're all emotionally crippled, they have people everywhere, and basically nobody knows they exist.

As you continue alongside the river path, the ground underfoot turns to soggy peat. It sags underfoot, pulling at you every step you take. You hear passing banter between the companions behind you.

"I never was a fan of wetlands."

"Really? I was under the impression you were an expert in these things."

"Just because I'm good at it doesn't mean I like it. Footprints always leave easier in these places, branches are usually rotting too. Plus, it...it just kind of smells, honestly."

Yoru laughs on hearing Asa's explanation. The rustling you hear is probably Yoru jostling Tai next to him.

"What about you, big guy Tai? I bet you love wet places, being from the Water Temple and all."

"The Water Temple is gone. I wasn't originally from there, anyway."

Yoru quiets down awkwardly at this, not sure what to say, before he starts to pick up again.
>>780135
And is interrupted by a piercing shriek echoing from deep in the woods.

The group of six jumps to attention, just as the scream dies as abruptly as it began. This doesn't feel good.
As you continue, the terrain gets progressively marshier. Before you stands the miniscule beginnings of a wetland. The fetid air does begin to smell a little- its filling with the scent of mold and rotting wood.

You ask Rin and Asa for help using their respective talents. Asa bounds up the nearest tree without a sound...until you hear the cracks of rotting branches. You flinch at the sound of them smashing against the ground- not because it is too loud, but because it made any sound at all.

You hear the sound echo through the forest around you.

For her own part, Rin shimmies up in between the rest of the companions uncomfortably as she tries to sense any chakra signatures in the nearby forest. After a few minutes, she shakes her head apologetically. "I tried, but...there's something weird about these woods. Not only are they teaming with life, but there is a heavy amount of chakra just floating. I could barely sense you in front of me, Amon, let alone tell whether the spark of chakra a hundred feet away was an owl or an enemy!"

The knot in your stomach continues to tighten as Asa drops down in front of the five of you standing together.
"First thing is first...I'm a bit worried. We shouldn't be too far from the main road, but I can't see it through the treetops, the forest is extremely dense. If possible, I'd suggest we head back to the main road before we get lost.

Otherwise, it seems the wetland only thickens into a full marsh ahead. It'd be messier than I'd like...but I doubt anyone would want to follow us in that. Gotta watch out for the poisonous snakes in the area, though."

You digest the information carefully...

You pick a direction to your right and start making a path through the woods. The ground beneath you starts curving to an incline. After a few minutes, it's much less soggy and less of a struggle to hike up the elevation on.

Your group of six struggles up the side of the hill, but eventually managed to find flat ground again after a sudden and steep decline. You step off and onto the road, as Asa follows suit close behind. It seems to be a saddle point between two hills and- sure enough- you see the well-walked dirt cross directly through it, the main road.

The last of your group, Yoru and Tai, manage to finally bustle through the vegetation behind you and join the rest of the group. Wait,
>>780518
why is Yoru helping Tai?

You rush over to help your brother monk, when without warning he begins to scream at the top of his lungs! Tai throws Yoru off of him and begins to flail about as if trying to get something off of him. You grab a hold on the frenzied man, shaking him to the ground. His eyes are rapidly dialating as he stares into the air, still screaming like a madman as he body seizes under you.

My thinking is that it seems more like something poison or genjustu, too bad Amon doesn't know about it would do. And Asa would probably be better at dealing with those.

>>780660
Surely Amon knows about genjutsu anon. He's not retarded.

I don't know if he's ever actually had to deal with it though. He didn't have to against the swordsmen at the Pass because of the Iron Armor Seal, and he's never been formally trained. I guess he may have read about it in a book sometime?

"Yoru, what happened?!" You bellow at the man laying on the ground horrified.

"I-I don't know! One minute he was fine and the next he just..just got all quiet! I thought everything was normal until he just slumped over!?" Asa helps Yoru up as he shaking too hard to do so himself.

You think quick on your feet. This...this has to be a genjutsu of some sort, like Hoki used. You don't want to consider it being an alternative.

"Rin, quick! I think Tai's under a genjutsu, he needs your help!"

....

"Rin, hurry! He's getting worse!"

....

"Rin?"

You feel a punch in your gut as Tai knocks the wind out from under you. As he gets up, still manic, Tai only receives a kick to the face, knocking him out cold. Asa groans as she rubs her shin in pain, "Aghh! He's so much harder than he looks!"

You're preoccupied with something else though as you look around in a panic...
>>780526
...Rin Nohara is nowhere to be seen.

"Yoru, Asa, where is Rin??"

They look around, fear slowly dawning on their faces.
"I...I thought she was with you!" Yoru sputters.
Asa's face hardens like stone, "...I'd thought she was behind us with Tai and Yoru."

She's disappeared into thin air....

Wasn't Rin supposed to be in the middle of our clump sensing chakra? Why would she be behind Tai and Yoru? Why would Yoru not know where she was? And why is there suddenly a steep decline to get back to the main road when no such incline was described for getting to the brook? Am I hitting any of the correct buttons here?

The three of you go quiet as your imaginations are left to determine the whereabouts of your missing companion.
"...Yoru, Asa, please stay together from now on."

They hardly need any convincing, as an anxious Yoru practically attaches himself to Asa's hip.

Something feels off, though. You drag the unconscious Tai over the center of the road as Asa and Yoru join you.
"What's wrong?"

"Something...is off. Was there something we missed? Something important?"

The two companions look at each other perplexed as you look around the clearing....

This is going too far. You need to take action now before this gets out of hand. First, you were under a genjutsu. That much was obvious. You practically snap at Asa when you ask her how, though she doesn't seem to notice as she's a bit unsettled herself.
"Usually some type of physical pain would do the trick, but..."

You don't wait for her to finish as you grab a kunai from her hip and cut your hand with it.
Nothing changes as you grimace in pain from the self-inflicted injury. Asa looks at you concerned. "I...that was more rash than I expected of you, Amon. Did it work?"
You can't tell. Asa grabs a medical kit out of her pack and tenderly grabs your hand. She wraps it in gauze, an upset expression on her face as she does so.

Without rest though, you slam your bloody hand down to the dirt below while saying the familiar words:
"Ninja Art: Summoning Technique!"

The large goldfish that *poofs* into existance flutters apologetically to you, brushing your arm with her scales.
"Amon-kun, she is most sorry for failing to help him last time she was summoned. Please allow her to shine bright for you once more!"

You lightly scratch Goldie's surprisingly dry scales as she swims about the air in front of you. "No worries Goldie, you did your best with what you had. We need your shine now though, nothing too bright just enough to see."

"Then watch her, for it is you that she shines for, Amon-kun!"
She flourishes in the air with a loop...and glows about as brightly as a lamp.
She floats by smugly, "Is she not the most brilliant you've seen?"

You acknowledge the fish, but you're in a bit of a tight spot now. "Goldie, I need you to tell me if you can sense anyone else in the forest, especially Rin."

Goldie doesn't answer, rather closing her eyes in response. As you're about to call her again, you feel slight vibrations in the air around you. Seems like she's doing something...

Lastly, you take out several tags from your pack and stick them to each person present- even the slowly-waking Tai. Using the Wen Qu, you've painted Hear-No-Evil Seals on each.

Immediately in your head, you hear the streams of thoughts from your three companions.

"He was...She...right in front of me..."
"...better than to hurt himself like that. This...this is probably my fault. If Rin were still around, she could have stopped him..."
"The Temple, My Brothers, Amon, Maria. The Temple, My Brothers, Amon, Maria...."

Their sudden thoughts flood your mind, but you see immediately that the others are overwhelmed as well. Asa blushes when she realizes her own thoughts are being projected, while Yoru goes white in the face. Tai rustles in his unconscious state, slowly groaning and fluttering his eyes open.

"Asa, can you set up traps ar-"
You stop, disoriented from hearing your words echoing twofold in both your head and the surrounding area. You opt to simply think the command.

"Asa, please set up traps."

She nods, still straightening out her thoughts. Though she may be confident and collected at first sight... you realize she's quite a mess on the inside. You feel like you're doing something inappropriate by listening to her thoughts, but you'll apologize later for it. Now's not the time.

You kneel next to your dazed brother, "Tai, tell me what happened?"
"A-Amon...? I'm not entirely sure...one minute I was walking, the next...everyone was gone. Moments later, my clothing had somehow caught fire..." He shudders, holding himself before regaining his composure. "I'd rather not talk about being burned alive, sorry."

You'd rather not hear it, to be fair. He tells you that otherwise, he only remembered noticing something odd in the group before it happened. He didn't see any details..besides a red eye, looking directly at him.

You take this information to heart as goldie blinks her eyes open again, looping in the air joyfully. "Amon-kun has asked, and she has found! There are fiv-" She stops on the spot, blinking and confused.

"N-no, four? Yes, she has found four Land-Walkers in the forest! One is to the Northeast from here! One is not too far from that! Another is directly East, and the last is slightly to the Northwest, not far..."

Goldie stops again, now frustrated. "Amon-kun, she apologizes but is having troubles. She detects four signatures for sure...but she swears one keeps coming and going!"

Interesting, you're not sure how to take this...
You...

Okay. Initial reaction is that's either bullshit stealth, dimensional shenanigans or Shisui is still working for Danzo.
None of those are good things.

>>Organize search parties to look in different directions (Who in each?)
Either two two man teams or we stick together. I'm leaning towards two teams of Amon/Tai and Yoru/Asa, because A) leaving Rin in enemy hands becomes more of a problem the longer we leave it, and B) we can keep in constant contact through Hear-No-Evil to limit the risks of seperation.

I'm more thinking Amon-Yoru, Asa-Tai. Amon is the strongest in the group, while Yoru is the weakest. Asa and Tai have opposite and complementary skillsets.

"We need to find Rin. Goldie, where is the nearest chakra signature?"

"The one Northwest of here. But Amon-kun, she must tell you it is moving away very quickly! Already it has covered much distance, he may not catch it!"

"And the one fading in and out, Goldie?"

Try as she might, the abashed summon shakes her fishy head back to you -she's lost it yet again. You feel helplessness welling inside you, but push it aside. You have to find Rin. You made a promise. Just as Asa finishes setting up her own dastardly traps in the area, you call to your companions. They gather up together, listening for your plan intently.

You...
>Pursue one of the chakra signatures together. It's a risky move. If you're wrong, you may be too late.
>Split into search parties to look in different directions, covering more ground. You'll be divided, but you think you may be able to balance out your weaknesses.
>Wait here, make a stand. You're not sure what will happen...and you don't think you'll get Rin back with this. But, you'd prefer to protect what you have.

>>Split into search parties to look in different directions, covering more ground. You'll be divided, but you think you may be able to balance out your weaknesses.
>>
>>782078
to go in more detail, Asa and Tai can probably travel faster than us, so they should probably be the one chasing down the nearest one since it's gaining distance fast. Amon and yoru in the meantime can head toward the next nearest one.
>>
>>782078
This, I suppose. Are we also voting for which target to go after? It sounds like the closest one is whoever was genjutsuing us fucking Danzo you asshole and ran when we realized what was going on. I still think splitting up is a bad idea, but we don't really have another choice.

Actually, can anyone tell us what direction they heard that scream from? That may have been Rin. We can roughly tell which person she might be from that if a chakra source is in that general direction. We'll just have to guess at the general direction since we're not where we heard it anymore, but it could help.
>>
>>782078
>>782081
Which direction will you send each party?
>Northeast, passing through what you'd assume would be the heart of the forest. The signature is not moving.
>The signature close by the Northeast one, just outside the middle of the forest. It is moving closer the other side of the forest.
>Northwest, towards the heart of the swamp and gaining ground rapidly.
>Directly East, into flatter grounds. You believe this is where you'd heard the scream from earlier
>>
>>782141
>Directly East, into flatter grounds. You believe this is where you'd heard the scream from earlier
Well that makes that easy. Send Asa and Tai to this one.
>Northeast, passing through what you'd assume would be the heart of the forest. The signature is not moving.
Amon and Yoru. This way Asa and Tai can get to the moving target close to the Northest one quicker than Yoru would be able to.
>>
>>782153
This
>>
>>782153
supporting. In hindsight, a target can't move that fast while carrying an individual who may or not be unconscious, most likely.
>>
>>782178
My thinking was that if he was carrying someone, Goldie would be able to sense 2 chakra signatures.

Unless the fading one was carrying Rin, but there are a bunch of answers for where the fading one is and what it could be doing, so it wasn't really worth worrying about when other answers are just as likely. Also if it was moving that fast since they nabbed Rin, they would be farther away. I actually just had a thought.

>>782141
Can Goldie memorize specific chakra signatures and tell them apart? It would be quite useful if anything goes pear shaped now or in the future.
>>
>>782195
it wouldn't be a signature if it wasn't unique/recognizable

So yep, she totally can you just have to ask.

I'll start writing in a few minutes
>>
>>782209
Ah, alright. I was just worried it was some sort of natural sixth sense type deal, where they could tell a person's chakra was different from the environment but couldn't tell one person from another.

While I was of course tempted to use that explanation...everyone apparently produces their own signature chakra in narutoverse, so it wouldn't make sense for me to make it unrecognizable

You decide to split the party up. Tai and Asa, the faster of the two parties, will head directly East and regroup with you around the same area Goldie noted the Northeastern signature to be. For your own part, you and Yoru will track the Northeastern signatures with Goldie along the main path, through the Heart of the Forest. Anything trying to follow your groups will most likely pass through this area on your trails...setting off whatever traps Asa has managed to construct.

You'll probably know if that happens, knowing the kunoichi's destructive potential.

You hope this plan works, it is the best you could come up with under this pressure.

Yoru reluctantly parts from Asa's side, apparently starting to feel quite safe next to the blue kunoichi. Tai nods and joins her.

"Be careful you two. Remember, we can keep in contact with the Hear-No-Evil seals, but only as long as they're still intact. Don't lose them."

"Roger that, Mighty Monk" Asa manages to tease. Her thoughts have stablized since you managed to come up with a plan, apparently giving her some sense of comfort.

You can't help but worry you may not see them again.
You part ways, you and Yoru heading down the main path towards the center of the forest. As you continue down through the darkening twilight woods, the last sight you see of the distant two companions is them climbing over the opposite hill on the Eastern side.
Then the crooked trees along your path swallow them and they disappear from your sight.

You continue along the trail, pulling out your map. The landmark you expect to spot next would be something called the "Tree Graves".
...You hope the name is arbitrary.

Yoru jumps at the sound of a raven cawing in the thick branches above. "A-Amon, did we really have to take the dark, lonely, claustrophic forest path?"

You admit, this isn't your first choice. The trees alongside you grow denser and denser...starting to almost look knit together with roots and branches. Goldie floats by your side, shining softly...but the light source causes grotesque shadows and elongated, twisted figures to appear along the road as you pass by the warped vegetation.

Thankfully, there the light chirping of crickets and a smooth, if chilly, breeze whispers in the air about the two of you. The dead leaves crunching underfoot are drowned out as your attention is drawn to what lies on the road ahead...

Small items and accessories litter the ground in front of almost every other gnarled tree. Kunai, Headbands, small articles of clothing, accessories, and the occasional carving spot the forest around you as you pass by. You see the odd, large stone marking a spot here and there along the roots of a tree.

They're...graves. Maybe you were right about there being some sort of battle here long ago.

"Amon-kun, the ambient chakra here is denser here than she has ever felt it before. Even Land-Dwellers could feel it!"

You do.
It feels...like there's life teeming around you that you can't see.
Like you're being watched.

Amon, are you there?
The voice of Tai rings out in your head.

We found a campsite, freshly set too. There was even a lit fire.
It seemed like we had found someone else in the forest, but when we checked...
The beds were empty, food- still hot- was left in the open, clothing was scattered on the ground as if someone had been getting dressed
But there was nobody. Asa even tried to find footprints, but...nothing.
Whoever was here just...disappeared. Not long ago too, by the looks of it
I'll contact you later, Asa thinks she may have found something.

You're not sure how to take the information. Yoru has stopped nearby for the moment, inspecting one of the "graves".

"Goldie, can you sense anything around here besides the dense chakra?"

Goldie shakes her head in the negative, but adds softly enough for Yoru not to hear, "Amon-kun...there is something...bad, about these woods. She does not know for sure, but it is a feeling she has."

You nod sagely. This may be an opportunity to try to sense this yourself. Right now your seal is fully locked, not allowing you to sense much at all. A large group of shinobi trudge through the thick forest, all wearing similar headbands....Sunagakure.
They're far from home, but their minds focused on the vital mission at hand.
End the war, assasinate the Third Hokage, bring peace to The Land of Wind.

The shinobi kneel, bloodied and worn amid the trees that once had seemed so peaceful.
They'd been watching the whole time.
The enemy leader marches calmly among their captured ranks. In exchange for their lives, they would give up all information of their mission.
This would be the end of Suna's Puppet Brigade, one way or another.
They tell the young, bandaged man everything he wants to know. At this point, their families draw them stronger than any impossible mission.

The Konoha shinobi ask their leader what exactly to do with the surviving prisoners, gathered in the center of the forest.
He reacts only slightly, his stoic face unreadable.
"There are no enemy survivors."

You gasp, closing the Seal of Babylon immediately. Your stomach nearly empties its contents onto the ground in front of you as you double over. Yoru jumps up, running over to you concerned. "Amon? Amon what happened?! Not you too!"

You shrug him off, but stare at the marking stones along the path ahead...leading to the Heart of the Forest. The forest around you grows quieter as the night creeps closer.

You sharply command Yoru not to touch anything here. You're not graverobbers...and you don't think everything here is resting at peace. He just looks at you skeptically. "Ghosts, Amon? Really? I know things are getting out of hand and all...but we can't let our fears run our imaginations like that."

You're still not sure what to think...or expect. Still, Yoru keeps his hands to himself...which is all you can really ask for right now. He's not keen on having to walk alone in this place.

You begin to wonder why you haven't heard back from Tai or Asa yet...

The tree-lined path knits itself around you like a thorned cocoon as you continue. It gets harder to see, the walls of dead growth blocking out any outside light or warmth. The wet soil begins to squelch under your feet, as you descend slowly but surely into the dark heart of the woods...

I mean, actions have consequences, even if we don't know they do at first. Ripples in a pond, and all that. I'm just hoping this doesn't somehow become Namek, but that depends on how long it takes to find Rin and how big the forest is.
>>
>>782714
You descend down the gentley sloping path...gradually coming to notice the light fog that has begun to enshroud both you and the path ahead. Goldie still glows in the darkness...but her light only reflects off the moisture slowly collecting in the air, soon rendering your range of vision barely fifteen feet in front of you. With it comes a smell you recognize...the rotting timber and mold of the swamp.

As the fog grows thicker, you feel claustrophobia setting in. You see less and less of the environment around you, even the trees and thistles once lining the path become nearly invisible.
"...I've got a bad feeling about this, Amon." Yoru's outline next to you manages to whisper.

...Amon, please tell me you are there

You hear Tai's telltale voice in your head yet again. But this time, it sounds...desperate, as well as a bit fuzzier than normal.
>>782714
Tai? Tai is something wrong

But surprisingly it is the faint, garbled voice of Asa that responds to your question.
Amon, we found something in the woods
Are you okay?

That bad feeling Yoru had is beginning to spread to you as well. You motion for the other two to stop. Yoru stands by your shoulder as Goldie floats around the two of you, illuminating the thickening walls of fog surrounding the group.
...I'm fine, Asa. What's the matter? What did you find?

We...found the people from the campsite.
They...They were...oh my god...their bodies...

Even through her thoughts, you can practically hear the waves of fear and disgust. When you hear them again, it is Tai again.
>>782722
We found them...mutilated, strewn around the ground a ways off...
But there is something else, Amon. Something else in the forest with us.
We saw trees smashed in half on our way here...vegetation carelessly shredded apart and massive, long trails in the ground...
We're not alone in the forest, Amon. Whatever is here with us...it's very big.

You look around at the walls of trees enveloping you. You'd...hear something like that, right? Surely, nothing that big could be in a place this tightly packed. Yoru looks at you, face white as a sheet on hearing the same news. You tell the two to be careful as you get up, continuing ahead.

The air gets cooler and less stagnant as you move forward, before abruptly thinning.

The trees open up, no longer constricting your path. The mist is thick and you can only see the tall, shadowed shapes of widely spaced trees about the area.

The Heart of the Forest.

"I...saw something, in the woods. I think...it looked like someone I knew from before. I couldn't put a finger on who though..." Yoru looks at you, worried. "So that was a genjutsu?"

You pat the man on the back, before you move away slightly and crack open the Seal of Babylon...
...and are immediately flooded with energy. Goldie wasn't exaggerating, this place is practically dripping with chakra. As you consume the steady stream of chakra, though, you begin to see things. Shadows flash about in the mist, appearing for one minute before vanishing the next. The fog shimmers, you hear noises...of carnage, of war...
You smell smoke.
You see...
A crying child, no older than four, is collapsed in front of two bodies on the ground, unmoving.
His village burns around him as the sounds of clashing metal and battle ring among the flames.
A red-robed man, rippled with muscle and spite, screams to the sky over the body of his dead brother next to the young boy
Both of them turn to you, their eyes begin to glow a deep RED

You lock the Seal of Babylon immediately, finding yourself sweating profusely. This place isn't normal. The fact you're hallucinating like this is evidence enough.
You're ready to find Rin and leave.

Asa, Tai, any news?
You contact the other group.

At first, you don't hear anything...just silence. Then, almost like static, you hear something back...
A....n...help....got...Tai

Is...was that Asa? Help? Confusion rises in your chest. You focus as hard as possible, trying to reach the girl.
Asa! Asa, what help do you need? What about Tai? I can barely hear you!

What you recieve back leaves you staring emptily into the air, blood cold.
Asa responds, despair in her sobbing message.

I...just watched it...sw-swallow him whole...it was so quick...I couldn't...I couldn't...

And everything goes silent.

An empty, cold fear grips your heart. Yoru looks at you, confused, having not recieved the message. He kicks at a small snake slithering about the ground around you.

You...

Mechanics for Seal of Babylon here
>>777810

When unlocking the Seal of Babylon in battle, DC checks will begin as a randomly generated number between 1-4 and double every round. Strength and Speed are boosted by 1, while stamina by 2. Additionally, any nearby allies will suffer full effects of the leeching. The passive effect grows every by +0.25 every three threads, making for a stonger effect against allies and enemies.

Also worth noting, it may be unlocked and locked multiple times in the same fight...but every additional time will add a value of 1d3 to the initial roll

You walk calmly back to the Heart of the Woods, mist curling about the ground around you. An exasperated Yoru is nearly pulling out his hair as he runs up to you. "What are you doing, we need to be running! NOW! VERY FAR AWAY!"

"You will be," you respond calmly as prepare a strip of cloth and multiple sealing tags. "Goldie, take Yoru and go on ahead. I will be the one to stop this."

Goldie sputters as well, "A-Amon-kun?"

You release the paintbrush of the Golden Wen Qu, immediately swiping the all-to-familiar patterns of the Spirit Bind Seals onto a good number of the tags. "Get out of here, find Rin. I'll make sure nothing follows you."

You make the auxillary seals for the See-No-Evil tags, turning to complete the blindfold as well.

"Amon...good luck." Yoru reluctantly turns away, Goldie hesitating before doing the same. You see her shining light and the shadow of Yoru walk far into the mists...and they're gone.

You finish the blind fold and walk around the area, placing the tags on any trees you caqn find. You made quite a few this time, close to twelve...you probably will have very little materials to worth with following this. As you walk through the mists, you hear the giggle of a small child again...

Turning, you are met with the sight of a small boy, no older than four. He looks at you with round, brown eyes you know all too well...

You can do this. For your friends. Myatsuu always did believe in us for a reason.

..and evaporates into the thin cloud of mist enveloping the Forest. You finish applying the tags around the area.

The ground begins to rumble slightly, you don't have much more time. You...

You remove your shirt, exposing your skin to the humid, cold mist in the air. You take the Wen Qu -remembering the last time you'd done this- and paint the Speak-No-Evil Seal onto your bare chest. The air about you seems to hush and die completely.

You step through the forest entirely noiseless, finding several possible perches amongst the trees. Finally, you found one most suitable for your needs. You take your position amongst the gnarled branches, hidden away entirely in the mists of the Heart of the Forest, and wait. As the rumbling grows, you tie the blindfold around your head and close your eyes....

...opening them to the sight of the forest floor, mist coiling in the dark amongst the trees. Even though your collective sight is hindered in some cases, as a whole your vision is nearly absolute around the entrence to the forest center. Even with this vision, you cannot see your own hidden body.

Perfect.

As you wait, a steady hissing begins to join the rumbling, slithering noise...
You watch as a titantic, green scaled serpent comes sliding through the passage, barely fitting, and into the open area. It's tongue, nearly the size of your own body, flicks the air repeatedly as it searches for anything.

You are entirely unnoticed by the beast.

You...

Bind it with chains to close its mouth, then place a seal on its jaw to paralyze the mouth, taking away or at least weakening it's bite. I'd bet this thing has the advantage in speed so we should power up and bind it with chains before we place any seals.

>Legendary Success

The snake senses the air around it, trying to find its prey.

...But rather, it is the one being hunted.

[Boss Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5FeKFKLvwA ]

Like a leaf in the wind, you fall upon the titantic serpent. Your legs, silent in the clinging dark, thrust you forward off the branch with the force of a hurricane. It doesn't notice you gliding through the open air until the first Spirit Bind tag is upon its outstretched neck.

By then, it is too late.

Remembering the training from the Water Temple, you try to adapt the water-walking technique to run across the beast's scaled hide...to great success. You hit its titantic head only briefly before you sprint across it, sticking Spirit Bind tags down the length of it's body. As you do so, mist leaving droplets of water in your hair and face, the colossal serpent hisses in outrage! It tries to swipe you off it with its tail, only to find it already immobilized.

You slap another tag onto the bridge of its nose as it turns its furious eyes back to even see its opponent.

But by that point, you have already leaped into the air. Golden light eminates from your tattoos and forms shining chains of pure chakra. Its sight is limited. Yours is absolute.

And you see only death in its future.

"ADAMANTINE CHAINS OF HEAVEN!" You roar silently, as you control your web of adamantine. The innumerable chains encircle the limp monster, helpless to resist the brutal attack coming.

"BIND!"

The golden chains halt in midair, then constrict their innumerable knots and loops around the helpless creature in a shockwave of force. It roars in agony as they initially burn into its flesh. Chains wrap around its mouth, ceasing the screams of the animal as the material chakra continues to burn and bury deeper into its flesh. Spurts of blood gush forth as the chains cut into it, dying the surrounding trees in the bright red deluge.

With a final burst of strength, you heave the chains together with your fists. You hear its jaw and bones snap as your weapons constrict it even further. In a flash, the etherial binds rip entirely through the beast with an agonizing groan of taut metal and an echoing squelch. Segments of the snake drop to the ground around you, only small chunk left of the one great creature.

In a bloody piece of what once had been its stomach, you see the slimy bodies of your companions, Tai and Asa, droop out. Asa seems unconscious and badly scarred, while Tai is coughing. Both are covered in a thick layer of gastric juice, though otherwise alive and well on the floor of the forest below you.

The man moves quicker than the wind, his body almost slithering across the ground. His yellow-slitted eyes already imagining the taste of his freshly killed prey.

Fear grips your heart. In a moment of sheer instinct and luck, you swing the Wen Qu at the monstrosity of a man.

"YAHH, GET AWAY FROM ME!" You bash his fanged head away and against a tree with your golden staff. The crack of metal on bone reverberates through the trees as you turn heel and run deeper into the mist. You hear his silky, predatory voice call out to you as he merely snaps his jaw back into line. "A snake will never release its prey when caught, boy. There is no escape from me!"

You pant as you sprint with all your might through the woods, heart pounding with ice cold fear. Your second wind passes as the drain on your stamina from using the Adamantine Chains hits you in force. You go lightheaded and dots of light flicker in your vision briefly...

You leap over his outstretched arms in a front flip, barely avoiding his grasp.

You drive the end of the Wen Qu into the ground, twisting off the cover of the paintbrush. The serpetine foe is already upon you, though! You swipe with the brush, hoping to handicap your pursuer if only briefly. Except, as you aim to paint the seal his body contorts unnaturally, almost like rubber, out of the way! He catches himself immediately as he passes by you, spinning heel and planting a kick into your chest!

You go flying backwards before skidding to a halt by the rancid waters of the swamp shoreline. Behind you lies the open waters of the marshes, stretching far into the distance. He laughs gleefully at the sight of your pained expression. "What pride, challenging a Sannin! Did you think you had a chance? Do you still believe you can challenge Orochimaru of the Hidden Leaf?"

His eyes bulge maniacally. "The price of arrogance sin is DEATH. I will be sure to extract your admittedly interesting techniques and put them to far better use."

You can't afford to hold back anymore, this opponent is far too strong. If you let yourself face him this week, all of this, everything you have worked for will have been for nothing.

It's time.

You clasp your hands together, channeling what chakra you have left into your tattooed seal as Orochimaru watches mildly amused.

"Oh? Planning to strike me down with some ultimate technique? No need to be so quiet, boy. Show me what yo-"

Even with the Speak-No-Evil seal applied, all hear your roaring echo reverberting through the forest.
"SEAL OF BABYLON: ADAMANTINE CHAINS OF HEAVEN!"
"R E L E A S E!!"

In a brilliant wave of gold and red, the seal across your body unlocks entirely.
And the powers of the world flood into your very fingertips as you consume the thick chakra in the surrounding environment. Within seconds, you are completely rejuvinated.

With the minute, you begin to emit a visible golden aura. You remove your blindfold, now well outside its useful range. Your eyes, pupiless, trail a white aura as you move towards the stunned man, earth cracking beneath your dense aura of powerful energy.

The chains once again materialize, now blazing a brilliant liquid gold like the surface of the sun.

"B I N D!"

The labrinyth of chains rattle as they stream across the air, blazing deliverences of death. Orochimaru's face becomes crazed, his body entirely snakelike as he bends and contorts to dodge the seemingly endless strikes. He runs up a nearby tree, only for an arm of the long seal to smash the trunk in two with a crashing blow. |

He begins rapidly forming handseals in midair as you throw lengths of knotted chain about him, dodging the inital volley. However, one of your attacks hits home as a burning chain ropes around his leg and throws him to the ground like a ragdoll. Immediately more than a dozen lengths of the gold chain materialized from your very body stab the spot where he lands, skewering the Sannin in multiple places.

"Remarkable...utterly astounding. A technique I have never seen, or even heard of before..."
"Such STRENGTH you wield, boy. I will claim it for myself!"
He begins to rapidly form handseals, his movements a blur even to your eyes!
You haven't even touched the depths of your energy...your chakra growing every minute.
Babylon count is now at 6

>>
>>783950
So it would effectively become a brand? Neat.
>>
>>783950
That's... kinda fucked up, not gonna lie. Would Amon even have the stomach for that?

And wouldn't it be easier to make a brand than napalm ink that went out on its own? Or a sort of spear like thing with a tip that heated itself?
>>
>>783958
Is burning someone's skin worse than impaling them repeatedly with burning chakra chains? Fighting people means hurting people anon, Amon is no pacifist.
>>
>>783965
Well that was you that came up with that. And do you realize how most people who aren't a genetically modified psychopath would react to literally being branded? There would be lots and lots of screaming. And have you ever heard what it's like to brand something? It is not a pleasant noise.
>>
>>783967
Fighting means hurting people, I'm just trying to get creative with the tools we have available since we're fire aligned. I'm not saying we should brand or incinerate everyone we come across.

"Earthen Seal: Spirit Bind!"

The chakra you project in the Wen Qu not glows a deep white rather than the usual black, but projects far beyond the mere tip of the paintbrush as you swipe the seals through the air. Orochimaru, thoroughly surprised from the change in the technique, has little room to dodge as the swipes of chakra slice through the distance between the two of you.

Each swipe of the brush travels like an inky projectile and carries the force of a physical blow. Your opponent is battered about as the strikes connect, forming a seal across his torso. He glares savagely at you as his body slumps, unable to complete the seals he had begun seconds prior. As you watch in disgust, his mouth once again opens inhumanly wide to an accompanying chorus of cracking bone and tearing flesh.

Out steps the Sannin, completely unharmed but a strange look on his face. As he forms a sign with his left hand...the lone raven flies down, perching itself on the serpent's shoulder. Orochimaru regards the squaking bird with a look of annoyance before it flaps its wings and flies off.
"A power like that will undoubtedly have a limit...but it seems I am out of time to play.
"Know this, child...the next time we meet, nothing will stop our little...exchange...from happening."

He rapidly forms hand seals...and slowly peels apart, bit by bit, into a pile of white snakes as you watch. They slither away into the night...leaving you with nothing but confusion at the words he spoke.
(1/2)
>>
>>783970
Yeah, but we don't have to hurt people excessively. Branding people seems pretty unnecessary.
>>
So here's my improved idea. We paint with chakra ink and then it bursts into flame after a small delay so we don't burn up our brush.
>>
>>783975
>unnecessary
excessive. Oops.
>>
>>783975
It'd be a useful tool for certain situations. Feel free to vote against it if it ever comes up as an option in training though, I see why it makes you uncomfortable but we really need some more offensive techniques.
>>
>>783986
Spirit Bind. Bam, guy can't move, can't remove ink.

It's just way out of character. We're playing a 16 year old monk who's been taught basically his entire life hurting people is not a good thing. I would think he wouldn't want to hurt people more than he has to, and literally branding someone would hurt them a whole hell of a lot.
>>
>>783989
With that attitude any fire jutsu we learn is completely useless
>>
>>783989
Well, saying that >>783972 just happened...
>>
>>783991
There's a difference. Fire jutsu fills a roll and can help in many situations. Branding people is specific for when you want to put a seal on someone and don't want them getting it off. But the same thing applies to a Spirit Bind seal with regular ink.
>>
>>783989
>A monk's life is one of peace, Amon. Life is to always be preserved or created. A monk will never attack another; A monk will never kill," Myatsuu recites, his eyes still closed in meditation. A weary smile on his face.
>"But, what would it mean to allow oneself to be killed? A life is allowed to be taken, and are not all lives sacred? These are our questions. It is fitting our answer is one of repentance. A monk trains, prays, and strives a lifetime to cleanse his own soul for the duty he undertakes. He pay honor to the lives he may eventually claim. To kill one other is to kill the self."
This is our mentor saying hurting people and even killing them is bad but sometimes necessary to protect our own life or others.
>>
>>783972
Damn, is there no counter to that shit other than sealing his mouth shut?
>>
>>783994
Fire jutsu still burns people which is apparently unacceptable to you

>>783994
Spirit bind seals don't paralyze the entire body either. They can be removed either by the target or one of their allies easily.

With a deep breath, you lock the seal once more. The limitless power once coursing through your veins abruptly stops like a faucet being closed.

You take a few deep breaths, prepared for horrific side effects....but nothing happens. Your body aches slightly from the exertion and -for some reason- you find yourself feeling very overheated.

You wait a few moments, checking to see if the snake-man is truly gone...before continuing back to the remains of the great serpent you dissected so easily. You find it again easily by following the tracks of the battle previously held.
Yet, on arriving at the scene you find blood and residue...but no body.

Your friends are gone as well.

You continue through the Heart of the Forest, mist shimmering and whispering about you...but you are too tired to care. After trekking for what seems like an age in itself, the mist thins and the trees begin to part. You look to the sky and once again see the familiar sight of sunrise on the way. You hold back the sigh of relief, still worried for the sake of your friends.

Yet...as you continue on the increasingly defined path, you begin to hear voices and....laughing? You run towards the source of the noise, throwing aside bushes and branches...

...and you stumble into a small clearing, a meadow in the woods. She sits there on a log, smiling wide as she chats with the stranger next to her. Yoru is shaking the man's hand as you watch.

Rin.

You call out to her, but the Speak-No-Evil seal is still emblazoned on your chest. It's not Rin or Yoru who notices you...but their companion who spots you first.

The kind faced old man approaches you, his head wrapped in bandages. "Ah, you must be...Amon-kun, yes? Your friends have told me much about you."

Yes, but I'm saying branding someone is excessive, not that we shouldn't hurt anyone ever. How would burning a seal onto someone so they can't get it off be better than just paralyzing them with a seal?

it paralyzed snakeboy completely. It did it to Tai when we first learned the seal too, so I'm guessing no. I suppose I could be wrong though.

Thanks for running Red.

And I totally have read the pastebin like 10 times over now. It's just that everything kept changing when we made the seal and the pastebin didn't mention anything about not restricting our chakra anymore. There were like 3 different versions of the chains over a 2 or 3 hour period and you refuse to just copy paste posts even though they would work perfectly fine with a little formatting like removing excessive space lines.

So, just seal their torso and they can't do anything? Why would you ever put in on their arms then? Because you can't move your arms without your deltoids or pectorals.

Man, we had to release the Seal of Babylon based on how our rolls were going, but it makes me uneasy that snek knows about our hidden power now. At least he has an equal chance of telling people about it as he has keeping it to himself, but now we really are going to have yandere snek following us.

I hope he at least spends enough time around us to become bonded or something, that way we can have shenanigans of trying to make him not a total psycho

This event was fun, Red, thanks for running this little spooky chapter.

any technique would be useful, but amon has the chakra control to really master the basics pretty easily. With his decent stamina, high chakra control, and ability to absorb ambient chakra, he can be quite a powerhouse with higher level techniques. He could probably use pheonix flowers effectively, and the fire prison technique would be very useful for non-lethal takedowns. Fire style is pretty deadly, though, so I'm not sure how much Amon would use it. For opponents who we, without a doubt, must kill it would be a boon, but I don't know how many of those there will be.

I imagine a lot if banditry is a problem like it probably is if the shinobi are at war with each other, then we'll either scare them away or they'll get flambé'd, or they'll just get beaten down.

To get back on track, the basics like shunshin, wall walking, substitution, fire clones, and some other quality of life things would be the most immediately useful. Perhaps Kushina would be willing to talk seals, and someone will let us get access to more upper tier fire jutsus. Again, fire prison is one I want in particular for Amon. Anti-genjutsu stuff isn't really necessary as far as I know, as any that can get past our iron armor seal couldn't be dispelled normally anyway.

my mistake, the "Fire prison" I was talking about is called "Fire style: Heavenly Prison" for the sake of clarity.

Also, now that I think about it, Amon could probably use lower tier jutsus with wither one-handed signs or just no signs.
>>
We should also probably due some strength and stamina training and take a look at Rin's seal
>>
>>784890
oh of course, but how to say it to Rin for the least amount of embarrassment or the most
>>
>>784890
>>784908
"Rin, I need to get inside of you RIGHT NOW."
>>
>>784922
Will we get bonus points if we say it in front of Asa and see her reaction Red?

>"Know this, child...the next time we meet, nothing will stop our little...exchange...from happening."

I'm hoping to run into Orochimaru in the village and make awkward small-talk.
>>
>>784955
We should feign not remembering him if he tries to talk to us in town, then fake trying to remember him, then say, "Oh wait, you're that pervert with an oral fixation that I met in the woods, right?"

Preferably around people he knows. Especially other Sannin or the hokage.

Oh so we're getting another fist wizard, coolio. I still want to do that to snek, tho. If only to see how he'd react to that shit being said about him.
>>
>>785208
Actually sort of almost young Tsunade.

My dick is... a little bit less flaccid than usual.

Why do you have to be old?
>>
>>785711
She'd be in her 30's rn

less of a companion, more a teacher
>>
>>786040
Oh, she was only like 50 in the anime? She looked a lot older than that whenever she messed up her not-old thing. I figured she was around 70 or so. She always looked like a raisin.
>>
>>786074
Remember her regeneration abiility would prematurely age her when released. Orochimaru and Jiraya were around 50 as well in the anime, keep in mind
>>
>>786092
Ooh, that IS why. I completely forgot about that. Was it even mentioned more than once? I'll admit the extent of my knowledge are whatever random episodes I could catch on adult swim and the final chapters of the manga (that kinda went to complete shit with all the power creep, they were pretty bad imo.) The only thing I have remembered is that Sausage is a massive douche, Naruto is a cuck and Chomei is best girl.

I've been trying to cut down on the waifu shitposting so I can surprise you with it. Did it work?
>>
>>786124
Sasugay is a worst, but Naruto smashed Hinata.

Cucked Tsuki before Tsuki was a thing
>>
>>786169
Poor Tsuki. And now she's probably gonna be stuck with Gaara if the anons are anything to go by. I feel kinda bad for her.
>>
>>786202
>Not shipping Tsuki with Amon's illegitimate child

I kid, we all know Tsuki is married to the game
>>
>>786348
Not gonna lie, if Amon has a kid and Wargle put him in TsukiQuest I'd probably cream my pants the seconds I read it.
>>
>>786370
Gotta make the kid first, anons
>>
>>786432
Well that depends on how everything goes before that. Like not being dissected by bad snek man.

And if I actually feel like Amon would want to be in a relationship.
>>
>>786484
"Think with your heart, not yo' dick. And stop ignoring Asa just 'cause she's forward, you'll hurt her feelings even more."
-The Red Lady
>>
>>786518
I want Asa to win though...

It's just that everyone else likes Rin better.

I wonder if this is what people in Princess Guard felt like when the girl they wanted to win didn't?
>>
I like Asa, she is great. I just want to protect Rin's smile.
>>
>>786533
I admit I kinda want too see Asa and Yoru hook up because while unofficial seeing Yoru and Asa happy together makes me happy as we never saw it in Wargle's Quest, only Yoru's sad eyes when thinking about her.

and Tsuki won't be with Gaara so long as I can vote dammit, Tsuki is to be wed to moon boy for his power supply to give to daddy to power our carriar
