This is a soul, currently trapped in limbo.
It once was a great adventurer, that fought many harsh battles and triumphed in life.
Sadly, now his form is reduced to a glowing orb in the void, unable to feel emotion and any kind of sensation.
I intend to change that.

As of now, he can't do anything. He is just a floating ball of light with no memory.
But that is where all of you come in.
You see, I need something to bind his essence to a new body. Something to connect everything together.
This Centerpiece is the whole of you.
Once he is alive, you can communicate with him and, to some extend, control his body. He still has a free will tough. But the more you prompt him with the same thought, the more mastery you will have over his actions. Remember this.

Now, lets not waste any more time and let me come to the gist of what this is all about.

You have to do something for me.
Something important.

A Quest... if you want to call it that.

There is a man that has to die.
He is not wealthy, powerful or wise, but he is a threat to the whole planet, the whole galaxy even.
There is no need for you to know more.
Simply ending his live is more than enough to bring back order.
It does not matter to me how you do it. Stab him, drown him, blast him away, anything goes.
Just. Kill. Him.

If you succeed, this soul here will live on and you...
All of you will get a wish. One single wish for anything you desire.

But till then, there is a long way ahead of you.
I wish you luck.
...
And don't disappoint me...

"Could you tell me, if there is some kind of town in the near vicinity?"

"There is no town on this island."

"Maybe a village?"

"Nope, no village."

"A tiny cluster of shacks?"

The old man thinks for a second.
"There is an old hut down the road. But nothing more."

"Are there even other people here?"

"It is me and the guard at the toll both. In the past there was another guy here, but he left, because he got bored."

"So what do you do?"

The old man looks puzzled for one moment and then glances at the big shield above the door, as if he forgot for a moment what his purpose was.

"I am the Trash Keeper. I look after all the Trash that is coming from the main land. I sort the trash, I pile the trash, I burn the trash and I monitor the trash, so that it doesn't do anything stupid."

"And is there a reason theres a toll booth, if there is no one on this island except you?"

"Well, you can't just let anyone trough to the trash.
Trash is something you have to snuggle around.
Shame on the soul that tries to mingle with its beauty."
>>
>>773832
Ask if we're allowed to take trash out with us, there's still that vase with the weird cube in it back at the crater.

Ask him if anyone snuck by recently. Someon had to have buried us, right?

"Not really. After all it is just trash. The problem I have is with unauthorized pampering."

"I really don't want to take so much of your time, but one last question, did you recently saw someone strolling by?"

"I did not Boy. You should ask the guard at the toll booth. He will know if anyone came to the island. Just follow the path, you litterally can't miss it. It was nice talking to someone that is not made out of garbage for a change."
