You are, as always, Gurie Niamc the cool, mature, and beautiful Queen of Friendland, where everyone is your friend and no one is mean to you!

"Suzie, please give my complements to the chef." You smile, Suzie dabbing a bit of frosting off your face as you finish eating your third cupcake. They are strawberry vanilla flavored. Your favorite. As Suzie, your dutiful Maid Knight knows. Suzie knows everything about you, that's what friends are for after all.

"Those where my cupcakes." Suzie grins as she withdraws her handkerchief to dab a tear from one button eye, "It means so much to hear that you like them."

You pat your loyal knight-maid on the head, the maid blushing through her stitch--work. "You have pleased your queen today Suzie, come have some with me." You push the tray over, the pile of cupcakes glistening with freshly made icing as your lady in waiting melts into a pile of tears and blushes.

"To.. to eat the same food as you Gurie? I was happy enough just breathing the same air." You chuckle as you undo the wrapper and feed it to your doll friend. The woman kneeling before you with buttons glistening with such anticipation.

Honestly what would she do without you.

~~~~~~~
"My lady, if I may ask a question." Your noble retainer begins as she wipes the frosting off her mouth, the cupcakes having since been enjoyed.
"Why must you insist on going on this little quest of yours. It's dangerous! Why not come back to the castle with me?"
>Now Suzie, how can it be dangerous if I have you?
> Suzie I need to learn the plight of the common folk if I expect to lead them. It's important that I do this.
> Well my subjects need my help, I can't turn my back on them in their time of peril.
>Write in.
Mimikyu walks around the floor of the hotel room, as a ghost sleeping wasn't really high in their worries as it watches Gurie snore happily, the floating ball of malice circling over Gurie, bobbing happily.
You have to admit, you are a little curious about it.
> Poke it with your stick.
> Whisper to it.
>Actually... its kinda scary. Maybe you should ask Ralts about it?
>>
You have three pokemon.
Mimikyu is level 10 and has Disguise as it's abbility.
Its moves include Disarming Voice, Phantom Force, Thundershock and Play nice.
Planny is a level 6 Ralts with Trace and knows Confusion, Teleport, Night Slash, and double team.
Apparently that weedle caught it self (Not that you know that). It probbably has shield dust and knows Leech life, poison sting, string shot and rest. Yeah definitely rest. You think bed bug would be a cute name for it.
You've got a social level of 7 and get a +4 bonus on advising your pokemon on battling.
>Now Suzie, how can it be dangerous if I have you?
> Suzie I need to learn the plight of the common folk if I expect to lead them. It's important that I do this.
It's not that I wouldn't trust the counsellors, but they see the things different from how I see it.
There are so many people out there, and I might not be able to help every one of them, but I would NEED to see it for myself, before I can my my decisions.
I can only imagine how hard things are right now, especially with the malevolent forces of the west on the march. I still hope for our diplomats to resolve the issue, but until then...
But anyways, there is no threat in any place of the world, which you couldn't take care of.
Is everything ready? I'm still not sure that I won't jeopardize this whole endeavour, acting so unlike me will be a difficult task.
But I think I will manage.
But only if you stay by my side. At all times.
Oh, just what would I do without you? My most loyal subject? My most honoured maid AND guard?
And... my friend.
>Actually... its kinda scary. Maybe you should ask Ralts about it?
Better safe than sorry.
No
You sigh as you contemplate what your maid asks. Looking out as the Gigglefree Forest from the safety of your carriage, your maid watching your face, the gold lining of your robes glistening in the air.
You feel this question is more important then just referring to your meeting with the Snugglefairies to discuss trade agreements over the Ice Cream mines. You think its about something that was a little more serious and a lot less sugar related. You dimly recall a pillow case and some kind of squire, and a sleeping bug. You also recall a swarm of hostile mice willing to burn you and your... friend? into a crisp.
Why ARE you doing this? You DO make money, you could walk away, your brother would forgive you, you'd still have your friends and you won't almost die or have to talk to weird pimps.
"I, I have to know more about people if I am expected to lead them. I can't just be in my tower forever. I have to act more like a Queen Suzie, not just a princess."
Suzie gasps. "My lady, perish the thought, who has been making these accusations that you are in any way wanting? I will personally-"
"Suzie, " You interrupt her before she got on one of her little tirades. "Its true. I don't just need to be, I want to be. I want to know how to do things, to know I earned this, not inherited this."
Suzie sniffles. "But, but why? Was I not good enough for you? Was my duties wanting? Why do you need to go now, we were so happy for ten years. What, what if you get hurt. You could have died earlier all alone."
You grab her hand, her yarn skin as soft as always. "Suzie Straw, listen to me. I didn't die out there, because I'm not alone anymore. I have Mimikyu and Planny, and maybe even that weedle."
Suzie's face controts to a scowl at their names. "But My queen."
The carriage shakes, causing the table to wobble, then it shakes again. Suzie makes a look you don't think you've seen on her. You don't think you really want to see on her again.
"Excuse me, give me a moment."
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Planny asks as it watches you whack the ball.
"Well you see. You don't know what it is, Mimikyu doesn't know what it is. So Mimikyu thought if we deal with it now while its all sleepy, it will be less of a threat then when its all awakey. We don't know if it's friendly or not so we deal with it just in case. Do you have the dusk ball?"
Planny holds up the green ball. "Yup."
"So if we capture it we can ask it why its all angry and maybe be friends. It's fool proof!"
You wack the ball again before it starts burning, the ball morphing into a shape.
The pokemon you are looking at has ragged holes on skin of black felt, teeth of sharpened zipper and red eyes that are really, really, REALLY not happy.
"I was having a MOMENT." The ghost pokemon seethes. "You have seconds, SECONDS to explain what you can be doing that is, in ANY way more valuable then my precious Gurie time before I use your skin the way you use that pillowcase."
Wow. Rude. And scary, but mostly rude. It's not a pillow case!
You have encountered a wild pokemon.
But that doesn't matter time to enact the plan!
"Well um... we thought you were... evil?" You hide behind your stick just in case you need to prevent yourself from getting mauled. "You see, you kinda, emit waves of hostility and we didn't know if you were trying to hut Gurie so..."
The Bannette calms down immediately. "Oh that's fine, if you were worried about Gurie of course you'd have to step in, how silly of me. My name is Suzie, I'm Gurie's first pokemon. She made me when she was only 7 years old, I keep her safe so I tend to be a little high strung. There are threats everywhere you know. "
The bannette flew outside glaring away a murkrow that made the mistake to roost nearby. "Pokemon like us have all sorts of abbilities that could seriously hurt people if we aren't careful. The last thing Gurie needs is to be bitten by a wild rattata, or attacked by delinquents and rapscallions. But now that you two are here I can enjoy my quality play time with Gurie without worry. Now if you excuse me I still have... 3 hours, 52 minutes and 35 seconds until she wakes up so I'm going back to sleepsies. We'll discuss our Gurie protection strategy later comrades in arms!"
With a giggle the pokemon turned back into its wisp form, hovering over the doll Gurie was snuggling with.
That... was weird.
"I'm going back to bed." Planny yawned before heading toward her pokeball.
~~~~~

You are Gurie and you've been waiting quite awhile before Suzie floats in.

"I'm sorry for the disturbance, it appeared your allies wanted to see how you were doing." Suzie smiles, as if she did not just leave with the full intention of murdering someone.

"Anyway you were saying mistress?"

Oh right, you almost forgot. "Well you see Suzie, even though the adventure will be scary, I still have you right? How can I be in any danger if I not only have my friends but the world's greatest maid knight at my side?"

Suzie... honestly seems a little choked up for a moment, hiding her face behind a handkerchief. "Mistress, forgive me you are right. Of course I'll see you through this adventure of yours. I'll keep you safe through all this and watch you grow even greater then you are.
After all I'm your best friend."

(You've unlocked "Call Suzie!" Whenever you are in Sincere danger (such as facing a violent trainer like a criminal team member, assaulted by a wild pokemon, being hit on by strangers) you have the option of asking Suzie for help.

Suzie loves you and will never hurt you, BUT she is SIGNIFICANTLY higher level then your ability to command. Suzie will do what she thinks is best and it will take social rolls to call her off.

At a later date you may be able to make Suzie a PARTNER POKEMON)

I'm answering this ooc for reasons.

She's been around for 13 years and as far as you know, shes just a doll that you play with and a imaginary friend who helps you in your dreams.

The fact its a Banette is alien to you, because Suzie didn't want you to worry.

That's why she only appears during night in dreams rather then play with you in the day.
>>
>>843690
She didn't reveal that she's a real pokemon just now?

>>
>>843690
Two ooc questions: What's Suzie's move set? Also, How exactly did the pokemon that never leaves Gurie's side reach Lv 58?
>>
>>843767

Suzie more or less manifested from Gurie's lonlieness and fear as a solution to them. Her strength reflects this.

Pokemon also level up as they get older and do pokemon things. Mimikyu and Planny are signigantly younger and thus weaker then her.

Suzie knows nightmare, spite, curse, shadow sneak, Phantom Force, will o wisp, hex, shadow claw, and infestation, each one is increasingly horiffying.

Suzile holds up the fabric as you finish the last stitch. "And done." You say, backing up to admire your newest piece

"Another fantastic work Mistress." Suzie said, admiring the outfit. Given your recent work on dresses you decided to move onto pants, a dark denin jeans double layered so that when it wears and rips it still has a layer to protect from the cold. Because you thought it would be nifty the layers are even different colors so the rips show. People do that right? Rip pants to look tough?

Suzie wiggles her legs to test the flexibility, "As expected of you, perfect."

"Well maybe I'll make some for you when I wake up." You suggest. "I haven't made you a outfit in awhile with all the orders I've been doing. But now I have free time."

Suzies eyes lit up. "Really? Oh thank you mistress."

~~~~~~
It is morning and you are Gurie, a tired hex maniac without a single ghost on her way to become a adult.
You actually... feel a little more confident today. Like maybe you can... actually possibly probbably not but hypothetically maybe do this? You might actually learn to do things like grocery shop, and make your own food. And hey, maybe one day you WILL be cool.
To start the day you:
>Go to the pokemon Gym, lets squash some bugs... but not really because that would hurt them.
>Call Fly G, lets take him on that offer.
>Go train! There are routes to explore.
>Get... trained? You still need to learn to adult
(As a result of your choices in the dream sequence you have unlocked Confidence. You take less emotional damage from Mockery. (So if you fail a social roll you'll cry, but not as long).
Incidentally you were always going to unlock Suzie but now your pokemon can also call her in a literal sense rather then Suzie's Poltergeist sense. Depending on how well Suzie likes you she may be able to help you train.)
Break took to long. Lets see if we can do both.
You decide to head to route 4 to train, also known as Parterre Way.
The place is thick with flowers and the smooth scent of roses, its the idyllic kind of place people that lets people from Luminoise know exactly the kind of valuable peace and quiet you get when you go to Santalune.
Or maybe you are really cynicial.
You withdraw your pokemon, Planny and... weedle? What the heck are you doing here weedle? Well... you guess you are it's trainer now.
You prepare to train before you get interupted.
"Hey, Gurie." Mimikyu tugs on your leg. "As your trainer trainer I've noticed you've been slacking on the social stuff. You can't neglect your training or you'll start to get all flabby. You see that guy?" He points to a bored vendor next to the fountain, a large cart in front of him as he sells Berry dogs. I want you to go over there, and buy four honey dogs. Then look him dead in the eye and say 'Thank you.'"
You look at the guy, you don't know he seems rather... scary. What with his bored expression and hat. You know who have hats? Important people who don't like it when people talk to them. What if he hates you forever and tells all his friends?
No, you can't think like that, you can do this! Hopefully!
You head off to the task.
Mimikyu turns to the others. "Okay now we wait for breakfest."
"Hello would you like to buy a dog?"
Come on you can bolster yourself... OH no, they have MULTIPLE OPTIONS. You don't know what you want...
Wait Mimikyu asked for honeydogs but... you think some of these seem tastier then a honey dog....
(PASS)
"Um can I have 4 Honey dogs, one with Pecha chili? Some Aspear juice and... what will be good for a Calm pokemon?"
The man thinks for a moment before he points towards a item in the menu. "Calm nature tends towards the bitter. We have a Rawst dog?"
You nod. "Okay and um, why not some Tamato chips?"
The man nods. "Certainly." handing you the items, the rich flavor of the honey sauce oozing from the bag.
You happily walk away before you realize... YOU DID IT! YOU HAD A COMPLETELY NORMAL CONVERSATION WITH A COMPLETE STRANGER! ALL BY YOURSELF!
You decide the first thing you should do is train Planny in her sword arm.
You do your best but since you don't have a sword item you just have Planny shadowbox Mimikyu, as a ghost Mimikyu phases harmlessly through the attackes no matter how much pounding you do.
You rush to the pokemon center, clutching weedle in your arms as you burst into the hosptial, trying to explain things to the nurse through your sobs.
The nurse tells you your weedle will be fine, it's just knocked out and please calm down mam.
Mimikyu sits in the waiting room awkwardly like it did something wrong. Especially because you make it sit in the corner of the hospital.
Eventually they give you Bedbug, wrapped up in a little blanket, his eyes still won... oh wait he's asleep again.
You know if you can exploit his skill with Rest you probably could get him to use the move instead of getting knocked out.
(With that I have to go to bed. Quest resumes tomorrow. For once you fucked something up.
In addition Suzie appeared, the last thread indicated most of you guys thought she was a very different type of character originally. Do you prefer this one or the more traditional ghost?
Shes somewhat designed as a GM parachute in case you get over your head, as Gurie already is by trying to learn to be social in the first place. Suzies insane level score allows me to throw heavy hitters at you who are actually leveled like one (So you wont fight a admin who has 2 rattatas) as well as make sure I have a way to get you out of situations and lethal critfails that aren't total bullshit)
We were super worried she was a malevolent spirit who coveted us more than loved us. Now, in part due to my godlike 98, she's friendly.
Both have their place, this one is fine.
GM Parachutes are good, just don't let us get away with super stupid shit, that will ruin the immersion. Maybe don't penalize Gurie, penalize the team.
In the meantime though:
Really? I think you assumed she was using more metaphors then she was.
Suzie was, and still is, obsessed with Gurie, to the point of outright murderous hostillity to anything that will, can, or even might hurt her.
Suzie was sincerely contemplating severely injuring the other pokemon out of jealousy, stopping only cause
1. Gurie would be sad about that. (As you quoted)
2. Someone rolled high enough to convince Suzie that they were comrades in arms in the Gurie Fan Club
As for using Nightmare, its the only move that actually AFFECTS sleep. Several induce it, dream eater would remove dreams, and bad dreams is darkrai's thing. So she had to have used that move by lack of alternatives.
There was a manga I read where a girl had a bond with a tengu spirit and they fought ghost stuff. One of the characters was a dream boy love interest possesed by a insanely protective ex girlfriend ghost who attacked any girl who got close and whose lingering grudge was fierce enough it could turn cars into ribbons.
Suzie's inspired off of her.
From Kid with a stick, to LARPer/Cosplayer, to fully fledged knight.
Which brings me to another question.
What do we want?
Do we want to be a coordinator? Or the very best, like no one ever was?
Or are we doing the splits?
If we really want to help Planchet out, we will probably have to find a steel worker, or a blacksmith of sorts.
Not sure who crafts this kind of stuff nowadays.
I was at a LARP tournament sorry.
You are Gurie and today has not gone well.
Granted you have managed to sucessfully order breakfast from a resturant, but then your training session went from completely useless to hospitilizing one of your party members.
Poor Bedbug was in the center for 3 whole minutes recovering from a stubbed stinger.
This is honestly humiliating, what if you aren't cut out for this? Maybe Planny is just a great fighter that one time and didn't need you.
[Confidence Triggers]
No, you can't think that way, not yet. I mean, you kindof already knew you were terrible, that's why you are here. The idea is you will suck LESS if you keep going. If you quit now you will always be lame.
Weedle burbles softly in his sleep. According to the nurse whatever injuries he got was not very serious, so that's good.
Public library time! Let's do our research on how best to train pokemon for total beginners! As for our ultimate goal... for now, let's set that as 'get kind of strong' and then wander, seeing what jumps out at us. Being a coordinator might be nice, but we really need more confidence before we try that.
You decide the best way to figure out what to do is with studying! That was how you learned how to make dolls after all.
Mimikyu suggests that there is this board he goes to that could help but that's stupid. You BUILD with boards you don't TALK to them.
Even you know that.
The Trainer School library is the greatest... second... roughly fifth greatest repository of pokemon knowledge in the world. And since you don't know any legendaries and the Pokedex Mainframe is in Kanto... HERE you are!
More importantly it's free, though you don't know why they hang a plaque of a koffing up outside the schools that's just weird.
According to your book Weedles are... well to be honest, apperantly they suck.
The trick weedles and their line have adapted appears to be a well coordinated swarm tactic in order to ward competitors out of their territory. A tactic that is of course, useless since league fights are one on one in the first place.
Besides, you look at Bedbug, curled up over a book about counting mareeps, you doubt Bedbug has the sortof discipline and savagery that would be asked for to do that.
However, your "Advanced training for the unadvanced" implies that with a trainer can make a pokemon reach levels well beyond a wild pokemon's capacity. So if you try really hard you can unleash Bedbug's hidden power.
Whatever that means.
No clue what you are talking about dude but the votes are in!
You decide to ask the librarian if there are any teachers who specialize in bug pokemon.
Appernatly you are in luck, a foreigner from came over recently to visit Violia. He agreed to do a seminar and should just be finished.
She directs you to room 103, taking a deep breath you open the door.
"Hey, lady, class is over I already told you everything worth me telling. If kids keep following geezer's examples you'll end up like geezers to." Sitting at the desk, playing a app game on his xtransciever, is a old man, hair a almost vibrant red as he notices you.
"Wait you are a little too cute to be in school. Can I help you missy?" The old man smiles.
You contemplate what your question, then decide it is better to show then just describe it.
You pry weedle away from your neck, which has become its go to resting spot since you found it in the forest all those... hours ago? Huh you thought you went through this longer. The miniscule larva pokemon wiggling in its sleep to find something new to wrap around.
"Well you see Mr Old Man Sir, this is Bedbug, and I don't know how to train him, I tried sparring but he got knocked out in one hit."
The man looks at Bedbug, poking the sleeping weedle, the pokemon burbling softly in it's sleep.
"Well as far as its age and species goes, this is by no means a wanting specimen. However this weedle is a few months from fighting age. " the old man said scratching his head.
"In fact I'll say you are one of only 20 cases I know of someone catching a wild baby pokemon. Usually they hide, in fact wherever you found this pokemon you should stay away from for awhile. Beedrills can take this kindof thing very seriously." The man chuckles.
"Man the last time I stumbled onto a Beedrill nest I was running for three days straight before they gave up."
Wow that, that was not good. At all. "So um... do I not train it?"
The man laughs. "No just the opposite, pokemon raised straight from the egg like this one are fantastic opportunities for a trainer like you. This means you can raise it as a parent rather then just a friend or leader. You have more responsibility and control on how it runs."
The man seems to ponder something.
"You know I don't normally do this, but a girl as cute as you shouldn't be flying as blind as you seem to be. While its no good to lecture the younger generation, I'll give you a few pointers I used to train Volcarona Jr."
Wait cute girl? You look behind you but you don't see anyone. Huh you must have missed her. That's a shame you don't often get to see cute girls at your town.
Wait the man's walking away, you run after him as he guides you to the practice pokemon arena at the back of the school.
"Alright Bedbug might be a little to fragile for a real opponent, but he's perfectly limber for a practice dummy. Like me!"
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" The man laughs. "Don't worry kid, I've faced my fair share of angry pokemon, I know what I'm doing."
Wild Alder Challenges you.
Um... well if he's so confident, you place Bedbug on the floor, nudging him into awakeness.
"Weedle Wee?" The infant pokemon blinks at you with bleary eyes as you point towards the old man.
"You see that guy? Mess him up."
Bedbugs eyes light up, time to prove himself.
"Go Bedbug use stringshot." You point at the old man, the supposed bug expert grinning.
"Weedle Whee!" Bedbug fires a stream of threads.
"Ha too slow." The Old man chortles, dodging the initial shot as Bedbug tilts the shot up, jumping past falling thread after falling thread like a middle aged ballernina.
"You fool you think just cause I'm a geezer I'll be that easy to, ow!" Whatever the old man was supposed to say got interrupted as his next step, failed to step.
Looking down, you notice what the old man only recently did.
Bedbug didn't hit the man, he hit THE ARENA, the entire place coavered in rivits of sticky glue string, anyone who wasn't flying would either be stuck or have to be very careful where they stepped, while Bedbug could simply wiggle his way over whichever thread he wanted with free reign over the area.
In fact you'd even say he turned the place into some kind of Trick Room or something.
"Well that's pretty impressive... but I have only begun to show you my old man powers." The man smiles as he... takes off his shows.
"Ha ha, now I'm no longer trapped in your web! Now for my counterattack. Poffin toss."
The man hurls a pink piece of breed at your weedle it bounces off harmlessly.
Bedbug eats it, apperantly it was Grepa flavor. Bedbug looks at you excitedly as it eats it.
"Good job Bedbug, you go!" You cheer Bedbug on, the Weedle burbling happily as you try another string shot to finally nail the tip toeing man to the ground.
Weedle leaps to the air and tries to shoot the man from a height advantage, it was a solid plan and a beautiful jump, the man forced to throw another poffin to block the volley as Weedle descended... right into a pile of gluestring.
"Weedle!" Your bug cries as he panics, feet wriggling uselessly in the air as he lands headfirst into a pile of glue string.
Weedle feet are immune to the affects of their own stringshot but, your weedle got hit in the face, entangling the panicking pokemon in more and more string.
"whee...." Your weedle sulks under a blanket of its own arrogance, hadly any of your pokemon is visible under a pile of gluey thread.
Suddenly your opponent gasps. "Oh no, I was distracted and accidentally stepped on your thread! Curse you Bedbug you outsmarted me again!" The man wipes away tears of embarrassment.
"Weedle?" Bedbug looks up confused, turning to you for guidance.
"Wow um, you did it Bedbug, now we can finish him off."
"Weedle!" Bedbug brightens up, he doesn't seem entirely sure what's going on but he's vaguely aware he did a good job.
Your foe, with a sock stuck in glue, is unable to take his move, leaving it up to you again.
>Work on that aim a little, String shot!
>Poison sting you already know that string shot works.
>Bedbug, you can get out of this if you don't panic, use rest!
>Something something leech life?
>>853087
If you get in the under ten range without a modifier its a automatic failure. Likewise above ninety is a automatic success that can carry over. A success that breaks one hundred unnaturally however will also count as a crit once you get skilled enough.
Fortunately this is a slice of life comedy rather then a action quest, so its mostly a difference between looking cool or looking silly.
"Alright Weedle, finish him off with a poison sting." Your weedle tilts its head as close at it can toward the man and fires a single poisonous dart.
The man yelps as he pulls out the black rod out of his butt. "Ow, right in the sitting down part."
"Good job Weedle, lets keep at it, whatever you do don't use rest. You understand, don't use rest."
Bedbug turns to you, burbling confidently. It knows exactly what you mean.
It falls asleep, the strands loosening around it as the bug relaxes.
"Well... the poison hasn't developed yet so I can't say this is a very effective attack." The man says examining the needle. "At its age it appears your Weedle doesn't really have the abbility to develop teeth per say, though its string shot certainly isn't lacking."
"Weeedle...." Bedbug rolls in its sleep, drooling contently.
"Do you want to keep going? Rest is a move designed for combat he'll be up soon."
The man tries to draw on your weedle but it wiggles away in its sleep. Frowning the man tries again, but Bedbug slips away once more.
ALLOW ME THE NARRATOR TO EXPLAIN.
WITHIN HIS SIX MONTHS OF LIFE ALMOST 70% OF IT HAS BEEN DEVOTED TO SLEEPING.
THE REST... TO FIND GOOD PLACES FOR SLEEPING. AFTER MANY HARDSHIPS BEDBUG HAS DEVELOPED HIS SLEEPING SKILLS TO A FINELY HONED EDGE.
MUCH LIKE BLACK BELTS CAN ANTICIPATE BLOWS BEFORE THEY COME, BEDBUG HAS ON A SUBCONCIOUSLY LEVEL DEVELOPED THE ABILITY TO PREDICT THE MOST COMFORTABLE PLACE AND POSITION TO SLEEP ON.
SO SKILLED IS HIS NAPPING POWER THAT SHOULD ANYTHING THREATEN THAT NAP HE WILL INSTINCTIVELY MOVE AWAY.
YES YOUR WEEDLE HAS MASTERED THE ART OF SLEEP DODGING.
Bedbug yawns, opening his eyes surronded by a field of bright red.
"Now Bedbug use Leech life." You yell out just as the man finally pulls your weedle out of his hair.
Bedbug bites the man's finger, focing him to let go.
"You know... I should have saw that coming." The man says, catching the falling weedle in the other hand.
"Well I've seen all I need to." The man says rubbing his head.
"You might want to work on boosting its toxicity. Your string shot is fine however, Bedbug is only a child so it makes sense that it will panic easily. Composure comes with experience.
While his defense is certainly wanting, that Rest can make for it if you time it right. If you can find a way to teach him sleep talk that would be pretty handy for you.
Also here." The man hands you a few green and purple cds. "These are called Technical Machines. They basically are instructional videos used to teach pokemon how to use moves. There used to erase themselves after use to gurantee their value but after the PTC decided to regulate them you can use these as many times as you want.
Cute girl...? You look behind you before you finally figure it out. Oh man what a silly mistake.
Well lets see here.
Obviously you need to decide on a long term direction. Are you actually going to hit the league or the contest or does having pokemon seem like enough.
Also do you want me to include more diversity in the wild pokemon you can catch? Would you mind perspective switches?
Basically what are you guys looking for in this adventure, besides snappy dialogue.
Finally I want to point out Mimikyu's Pokedex lines when the disguise abbility is used (Thus causing the mimikyu head to tilt over)
>After going to all the effort of disguising itself, its neck was broken. Whatever is inside is probably unharmed, but it’s still feeling sad.
>>
>>856239
> long term direction
I'd like to imagine that Gurie became ambitious, both over her recent successes in battle, as well as her dream of being popular.
Basically, we hit up the league, dominate the catwalk, crush the performance and just generally be awesome! (And lose spagetti all over)
> more diversity in the wild pokemon
We haven't seen many so
Far, but having rare pokemon left and right would just get borring. It's good as it is right now. (Probably)
> Would you mind perspective switches?
If justified, sure.
But we should always keep our Gurie/Mimikyu as the majority.
> what are you looking for in this adventure
Interessting story, interresting characters, consequences for our deeds, the usuall, you know?
It doesn't have to be a magnum opus, but while pokemon battles were rather rare and took very long, those are quite the best pokebattles I've ever seen.
>Finally I want to point out Mimikyu's Pokedex lines when the disguise abbility is used (Thus causing the mimikyu head to tilt over)
... so, what about it?
>>
>>856327
Oh right, forgot.
Beating a crime syndicat makes you gain fame.
We coild use it lt to manipulate others?
>>
>>856257
>long term
Yes, we def want to hit up the gym and contests.
I think I'm starting to understand why you're questioning our actions though, Most of us here are basing our actions on the Video Games, which would mean we want to train a lot before going to a Gym as we would hugely increase our chances of winning that way. It feels like we're supposed to train before heading to the Gym or sew a couple dresses before we do a contest. It's in our nature to be overprepared.
>diversity
agree with >>856327
>perspective switching
Perspective switches were fucking great in the past, had a lot of fun talking to pokemon.
>what are we looking for
Fun a plenty. I'm hoping to follow the standard quest line from all the Vidya and variate as we see fit. Obviously we have a ton more freedom to do what we want here and I want to use that as much as possible.
>pokedex entry
So sad :(
This reminds me actually, I think it would be a lot cooler if we talked to our pokemon more. So far we've mainly been talking to other people (which is nice and all) but we're missing out on talking to our pokemon about their feelings and their own personal quests (which are running parallel to out own).
We haven't talked to Planny for a while even though they're our service pokemon. Mimikyu is our trainer and yet they haven't really been ordering us around or arguing about what we're doing. I think those more personal stories could really add a ton of flavor to the campaign as a whole.
>>
>>856257
Mostly interested in the story and character development. Growing more confident, meeting new people and pokemon, watching characters grow (Planny growing more knightly, Banette (Suzie?) reacting to new companions), etc.
As for an overarching story, we're supposed to go on a journey to grow stronger and learn, right? So basically explore the world and do stuff and meet people and have stuff happen to us. Maybe with a few longterm goals, like learning how to people.
>>
>>856327
To explain that, all the wild pokemon you encountered (Which was 3) are from a little thing called Bulpabedia's list of pokemon you can find in that route.
Should I continue this process you will be able to get any pokemon you can get in X (Besides special pokemon like Suzie and Planny who you acquired encountered plot developments.). Which means no Cutiefly but less emersion.
Resturant Le Wee was run formerly by the sou chef of Le Yeah up in Luminoise. However when Azure Bay Slowpokes were added to the menu there was a mild disagreement, that turned into a major disagreement, which ended in the sou chef telling her marowak to use Earthquake and the restaurant was temporarily closed when the roof caved in.
You know when you combine this with the Ex Rocket Hotel lady, you know a lot of scary people. Why don't you know like, kindergarten teachers or center nurses?
However issues her temper has, she makes the best Berry Tarts you ever tasted.'
The moon floats overhead stars sparkling as you lead your new found... whatever he is, to the restaurant, a old rustic looking building that you remember having been built exactly 4 years ago.
"So, you go to this place often?" The old man says, listening to the sound of Kalos soft rock echoing from the resturant.
"Um.... a few times." To be honest, you came here as many times as you visited Santalune... which isn't that much considering you never go outside but its the thought that counts.
"Ah Madame Niamc, so nice to see you again. And with pokemon no less." The waiter says, tilting his head down to glance at Mimikyu hiding behind your leg. Apperantly he's still not good around strangers.
"Well then, we can make the normal arrangements, or Madame can enjoy our traditional fight and feast, we do accomodate for... doubles." The man said coughing into his hand as he looks at gramps behind you,
Oh well if its free... wait no hey people will think you and him are, well they might assume, it could be concieved that- but but.
Well you guess a question for a question is fair... but what if its a... um... you don't know. You know there are questions you'd rather not answer but it's not like you've ever been asked them... or asked anything.
So you suppose it'll be fine. "Okay." You tell Alder, confident you will win this question war as the waiter comes back with a tray of drinks, "Madam, Monseuir, please for your apertifs enjoy this Camenbert served with roasted Bullet Seeds and served with a house cocktail of fermented Pecha wine and seltzer.
Oh its orange and bubbly, that's cute. You sip it and feel the cocktail burn your throat. You resist the urge to cough and manage to finish the sip in as dainty a manner as possible.
"Now then, Monseuir the proper way to savor your dish is within 3 turns of battle, please enjoy this complimentary challenge while we wait." Plucking two balls from the tray, held within their own glasses, the man tosses out a Volbeat and a Illumise.
You pull bedbug away from his bed around your neck and wake him up. With a bright light Alder summons a... you can't see it? Oh look a Joltik just crawled by your foot, that must be his.
You have the first turn, you should be done in three.
"First things first Bedbug, leech life that Volbeat." Nodding your weedle leaps into action, clinging to the firefly's face as it nibbles away at its precious life energy, the Volbeat eratically swaying in the air as it tries to pull the bug off.
Eventually Volbeat does manage to pry Bedbug off, grinning triumphantly, right as Joltik's thunderbolt hit it.
The illumise hovers worriedly over the volbeat, using a small white orb manifesting overhead, healing the other pokemon.
The Volbeat looks pissed as the light on its tail brightens up. You don't know what it means, but if there is one thing the cartoons have told you, is that when a pokemon glows its always bad.
"Bedbug, stringshot, paralyze that Volbeat."
And boy does Bedbug deliver, it turns out setting up webs is easier indoors where there is a actual ceiling, the battle stadium covered in thread Volbeat and Illumise wriggling helplessly in their web as Joltik follows through with a Electroweb, the wirelike web covering the helpless pair before crackling with electricity.
The fireflies slump over helplessly as the man bows.
"Very good, enjoy the rest of your Cambert." The man flips a small hourglass to represent the value of the turn you missed, and as the last sand grain hits the bottom you enjoy your cheesey food.
You give a piece to Bedbug, he did help you win.
"So, cutie, the waiter said your name is Gurie, you must come here regularly, how did you find this place."
You first met Julia in training school, you already avoided going on your pokemon adventure and Julia quit early after going to Lumiose and deciding she was going to become a cook. You were always jealous that she knew what she wanted to do, you got your Hex Liscence because your teacher thought you were gloomy enough.
That still hurts your feelings a little.
You avoided Julie like the socially affulent plague however, she had friends and people with friends had that special kind of glow that hurt your eyes, what was it called again.
Oh yeah, happiness... wow you were a fun girl to be around in your teens.
However your first real interaction with her was the day her shop opened after a little... she called it a stnanks? You already explained it, the one that ended with a earthquake?
You were at the time in Santalune on personal business. In fact you can almost see it in wavy flashbacks.
~~~~~~~

You are Gurie Niamc, you are 16 years old hex maniac raising your 4 year old little brother and you are really sorry this quest is about you rather then someone interesting. You could have been a punk raised hard in the streets with a flute, or maybe a necromancer in a dungeon. Oh or even a rich ninja!

But you are just a loser with needles. You are awfully sorry.

You were in Santalune looking to buy some lace for a dress for Suzie, your only friend. You wish this could be a more interesting story, maybe with like giant robots, but no its just about shopping.

"Hey, you look hungry."

Oh no a stranger. Don't make eye contact, she looks like one of those dangerous hoodlems who steal money and use it to buy their pokemon drugs or something. You think the news had a article on that right? You wouldn't know cause you only watch Fairy Type Erina but you are pretty sure this is exactly correct!

The lady leans over you and oh arceus you can smell the hair spray, just take a deep breath and count to 20, 1 2 3 shes still there and she's touching you.

"Fortunately for you... hey it's Gurie! I remenber you from school! How are you doing, still playing with dolls."

You... you've been id! By a UNSAVORY CHARACTER, now she will kidnap you and steal your face and okay calm down calm down CALM DOWN GURIE YOU CAN DO THIS, and why is the ground getting closer?

You are Gurie Niamc, you are still 16 years old and you did not faint in public. You aren't sure what happened but you are pretty sure you got abducted, like with a bag on your head like in the movies. That's the only reasonable explanation.

"Yo Gurie, you still dead over there." A woman pokes you awake, sleek shed seviper leather gracing her form. "Sweet, welcome to Kalos, you fainted in the road, probbably from lack of food. You never were good at buying things for yourself."

You blink, as she pushes a cup of warm cider in your hands. "I'm Julie, remember? The chef girl?" Oh, OH! Wow she was less... gelly before. "Gelly?" Oh shnitzel you forgot you think out loud when scared... and you are still doing it.

"Look, you just looked kinda dead in the middle of the street so I brought you here, besides maybe we can help each other. I haven't gotten any customers because people were scared off by a little argument I had before."

You blink. "What argument."

"Oh you didn't hear? Don't worry it was nothing important, but before you go would you like to buy a tart?"

And it was the best tart you ever tasted.

"So basically, I've become somewhat of a regular since, she doesn't pester me into battles like the other restaurants do."

Alder nods. "Wow, you used to faint from having to talk to people?" Oh right you forgot you mentioned that, now he's going to think your lame. "You've come far."

You blink. "Yeah I am a ... was?"

Alder nodded. "Yeah, you couldn't handle conversations before but you asked me for help, all on your own. That's quite the growth."

Huh...huh.

"Anyway it's my turn to ask a question. You said you were a hasbeen, what did you used to do, and now what?" You ask the man, who laughs.

"Oh it was nothing special, I used to be a professional trainer, living on the reward money gyms and tournaments gave you. Fighting and strength used to be all I cared about, before I realized my priorities needed readjustment. Then I spent it wandering, meeting new pokemon and raising a few, occasionally I'd dig up something to sell to town for new clothes when my rags started getting holes in places you didn't want the ladies to see through.

However the old champion was sick and a new one was needed. Apperantly I was considered the best one to keep the cities rapid expansion in check. So I was appointed champion of the land.

Then a crazy kid with green hair and unresolved issues defeated me and almost destroyed the world, another brat saved the world and defeated me, and I realized my throne wasn't for me anymore, but for the younger generation.

Now some little girl has it. So I'm back to wandering."

Wow that's quite a, wait did he say champion?

"Oh look." The grampion turned to the waiter. "The second dish has arrived."

"Madame, Monseiur, Chef Julie will appear momentarily with her dessert, until then enjoy our main dish, Rattatatoulie, made from sliced quish and served over suuweechini pasta and topped with Tamota sauce and Moomoo cheese.

"This is best served in four turns." The man withdraws a pair of pokeballs and tosses two Ekans. "Please enjoy this complimentary battle until then."

Planchett nods and walks over to your table, borrowing a spoon from your plate as she begains to sidestep, her body a finely honed blur as she leaves afterimages, that promplty leave to do their own afterimages, surronding the snakes with five ralts.

The ekans decide to gang up on you with poison fang but the snakes only manage to bite through the smoke and mirrors, reducing your clones to three.

"Finish him Planny, use Nightslash."

Planny's spoon burns with a black fire as Planny charges the Ekans. In anticipation the Ekans uses Wrap, constricting the pokemon in its purple coils. Planny was trapped, wriggling helplessly until her spoon stabs through the Ekans coils, its dark magic burning Ekans, the snake unwraveling as the snake falls unconcious.

"Well done, please wait the remainder of your turns before finishing the meal." The man bows and walks away, leaving you with your vegtable pasta.

"So, you said you used to be quite antisocial, is there a reason for that, and why aren't you so nervous around me?" Alder says as he picks up his fork, noticiing the knives crossed each other. "Well to be honest, I would say its that society has a problem with me.

I used to be rather shy, and no one wanted to talk to me so I played with dolls, when I was seven I even maid my own. Her name was Suzie and she was my best friend.

But when I showed her to the other kids they called it creepy and would throw it into the woods. Every day I had to go and find her."

You pause remembering the day as if it was going to happen in a wavy flashback.

~~~~~~
The forest is supposed to be dangerous, crawling with bugs and hostile pokemon and all sorts of nightmares. But you've never really had a problem with it.
You scour the night, looking for Suzie under the commotion of the forest, footsteps and the buzzing of bees.
Wait, footsteps?
"Cassie put a leg in it, those pigs are hot on us and we can't get caught with the loot." You can hear voices now, the man's voice grating and laboured.
And getting closer.
"Shut up Butch we aren't going to lose them if you keep, oi what's this."
You see a shadow loom over you, there face obscured by the darkness. "What's a twerp doing out at this night?"
You see another person head toward you, white boots and a eye white from a nasty scar. "Oh so it is, well take her with us, let's see if a hostage will slow the pursuit a little."
"Wakey wakey girly." You come too in a abandoned warehouse, apparently sleep powder was threaded through the bag.
"We lost the cops so we aren't going to be interupted anymore. We are with Team rocket, the toughest gang of crooks in the world. And now, you belong to us."
The man paces back and forth, his partner watching the door. "What to do with you? Ransom could give us away, and there are nasty ways you can be useful but you look smart."
The man smiles, a gold tooth glistening in his grin. "And you know what smart people do, they join the winning team, our team. We got teachers you know, people who teach runts like you to be winners like us. And we will visit one soon."
You're scared, you don't know who these people are or even what those red Rs mean but what about your family? And he doesn't look friendly even with that smile.
You look around, Suzie's gone again, they left her in the forest.
You are all alone, no one will find you.
You start to cry and all of the sudden you are on the floor, your face scratched from the gravel.
"Don't cry, the last thing rocket needs is a whiny bitch who cries when shit goes sour. Give it up kid no one will miss you. You are ours and the sooner you get over your losses the sooner you'll stop crying."
You try and fail, you fail and you see him lift his foot over your head.
"So I had a really bad nightmare and I've been scared of people since. Well until I met Mimikyu." The pokemon under the table clicks happily as its mentioned.
"So that's my story. It's kinda stupid I guess. Sorry." You look down. Classic Gurie, look at him he's frowning you ruined the dinner mood with your stupid existence again. Typical.
He pats your head. "I'm, really sorry to hear that. Sounds like someone really special is looking out for you."
You swear you hear giggling, you don't know why.
"An-anyway! You, Volcarona, what?" Eloquent Gurie. Always the smooth one.
The man brightens. "Oh, little Apollo? Yeah my first pokemon was a Larvesta. I've been raising its family since, this poncho is made of his fabric."
"It's family? What happened to your first?"
He looks away. "Only one question remenber."
Oh.... oh. You need a new topic. Oh hey he mentioned his poncho talk about the poncho!
"Oh its nice, but the weave's a little simple, I guess you didn't have much access to dye in the wild."
He blinks. "Oh yeah, I had some bug pokemon help weave it. I am no good with fine fingerwork myself."
You nod. "I know what you mean, I used to look up psychic tricks to help my threading but I found some of Devon's new machines help just fine, but they aren't very mobile. So I rigged up a micro one I can fit in my backpack."
"Oooh useful. I saw Planny's cape that's your work?"
You nod. "Yeah all I used was"
"Well well look who joined the real world." You hear someone interupt you.
You look up and see Julie staring at you, holding a tray piled high with... Sherbert! You love sherbert.
"Here I hear my cute little Gurie got a boyfriend and it turns out you hooked up with a strange old geezer. Don't you have any self preservation instinct?"
You pout. "Hey Julie be nice Alder helped me train and he's too poor for dinner."
The man in question blinks. "Um actually-"
Julie interupts. "Pipe down Grandpa grime, don't they teach you in the home to speak when spoken to? Gurie I heard you have pokemon now. I've been waiting to see you do something that didn't involve needles for a while. " Julie pulls out a pokeball. One pokeball.
"So how do you say we test that, one on one, no time limit just eat the sorbert now?"
You look at the Sorbert, iced deserts have a turn limit of One before eating for the syrup to to permete. Any more then that and it just starts melting, you don't really have a choice here.
"Okay?"
Julie smiles. "Great one on one with a single pokemon."
You see mimikyu chuckle as it waves to the Slowpoke before... slumping to the floor.
The slowpoke walks over, poking the rags with his tail, the lump not moving.
Oh god, you killed Mimikyu.
Well not killed because Mimikyu was a ghost but... you excorsised Mimikyu? He was your second best friend and you murdered him with bad advice.
The slowpoke looks mortified, as if it was personally responsible somehow, the Slowpoke opening its mouth to prepare a watergun.
Instead of water, several black hands clawed out its mouth, scraping the confused pokemon before dripping from the injured pokemon's may into shadow, racing under the costume before rematerializing under the rags.
Mimikyu looks at you, expectant of some praise like you gave Mimikyu as the slowpoke blinks.
Then Mimikyu got it in the face with water, Soaking his poor costume.
Mimikyu shivers in his soggy rags as Slowpoke faces him down, those scars on Slowpoke looked nasty but like the thundershock, the slowpoke doesn't seem to have noticed quite just yet.
Friend has it now.
Slowpokes tail shoots a large electric blast that Mimikyu just barely dodges. You... didn't think Slowpokes could learn Charge Beam. How long has Julie been training that Slowpoke, with it having used soak earlier if that hit you could have caused serious damage.
Mimikyu makes.... a noise.
You want to use some flowery word to describe it but... you didn't think anything could make that sound, in fact you don't think they are supposed to.
Even Slowpoke makes a face as it endures the sonic onslaught.
"Slooooow." The slowpoke cries as it stumbles, barely standing up.
And....
Nothing is happening.
"You win this wrong." Julie sighs returning the pokemon to its luxury ball.
Wait... WAIT, Slowpoke faints with it's eyes open, what? WHAT?
Alder claps. "Very good that slowpoke didn't stand a chance are you sure you need my help?"
Mimikyu's pikachu head looks... bigger then before. Which makes no sense cause sure you heard about swollen heads but thats both a metaphor and thats not even Mimikyu's real head.
You look back at your smug partner pokemon, who seems to still be celebrating its first victory over your cook friend.
"Ugh now I know how sister feels." Julie complains as she puts away your now empty Sorbert dishes.
"Anyway you successfully completed all our challenges in the alloted time, thank you for blah blah blah, enjoy our complimentary coupon for our take home desert today its a Gateau in the sinnoh region style., get the hell out of my resturant, you already know the drill right?"
You nod, Julie is... Julie, but she isn't as nasty as she looks. I mean, you get free drinks.
Speaking of which you look at your glass and realize you didn't really touch the wine at all. Oh well, maybe a different time you will learn to deal with alcohol, maybe not in front of your pokemon.
Oh speaking of.
"Hey Mr Alder Sir, can I have your number in case I need help training Bedbug?"
Alder points to himself. "You are asking for MY number?"
Julie points to him. "You are asking for HIS number?"
Wow they really do get along. "Well, he knows pokemon better then me and I don't have a teacher."
The man laughs as he writes numbers down. "I've still got a lot of sights to see in Kalos so I'll be in the region for awhile."
> Got 1/??? Popular guys numbers. Gurie puts it in the Key Items Pocket
Its late as you say good bye to Alder, it's getting late and you may have time to squeeze one thing in.
You decide that the best way to end the day is the same way you ended the last one, with stitch work.
You head over to your favorite craft store, the one Mom introduced to you before she and Dad... left. Walking past most of the buildings as Santalune became less rustic and more, old. Not filled with old world charm just old, decaying paints, brick and and concrete instead of wood.
This was the real santalune, where people actually lived, it also held Crafts and Crafts, which sold the cheapest fabric you knew.
The shopkeeper, a aging woman who probably heard you rather then see the hunched girl between her thick bottlecap glasses, nods to you as she looks back at her paper. The place is covered in substitute plushies, and rolls of fabric. The place made most of its foot traffic on thread for patchwork jobs for Santalunes down and unders but it shipped yards of the stuff to Honnen. The granny kept more then enough spider pokemon around to make rent.
As in, the place was crawling with spinarks, and joltiks.
As in, there was a spinarak on your back right now nibbling at your hair.
You ignore it, your kinda used to bug Pokemon crawling on you with Bedbug having spent the whole day doing it.
You got options here, which means you got choices.
You choose some black and white fabric, the cloths woven from spun cottonnee fluff. You brush your fingers alongside it, its so soft and you have the perfect idea in mind already.
Its this little two piece dress, she'll look so adorable. In fact you have half a mind to make one of your own....
Ugh wow, never mind that was awful.
You make your purchases, buying enough to make the item plus a few extra pieces if you have enough time to make a accessory or two.
You head to the hotel room, your piles of garb layed on your bed as you start your work.
Roll 1d100 for crafting.
After a hour of hard work you finish lacing up your doll with her snug new outfit. She looks so cute with it on, though Suzie was always cute so that may not mean much.
You even have enough time left over to make a second item, a small sleeping cap for a certain weedle, it even fits his horn snugly.
Bedbug burbles in his sleep and you yawn as well. Who knew that training was such tiring work. You look at your trainer case, the box opening with a dull click as you look at the empty outlines of the regional badges.
No bug badge, no fairy badge no cliff, trick, plant voltage, voltage, milk, no mourning badge, no anything besides a certificate proving you won besides a coupon for a free layer cake and the phone number of two guys...
Wait, you actually have holonumbers, from guys.
Wow... that's... wow.
You never thought you'd actually have a number thats not your brother. This is quite weird!
Maybe you actually are progressing, in your own weird way.
You go to bed, Suzie snuggled next to you and Mimikyu slumbering in a mound of pillows.
Today was a long day, but it's over.
You are Bee of Team Smogogo. Thats right you're name is actually Grunt B. Hahaha.
If you actually could fight youd kick anyone who made that joke in the nuts. Too bad all you have is a zubat.
You are listening, once again to your boss preach, Admin Zarel, a man of vague kanto descent who helps run your underground gym rings.
"Grunts, we've been in the pokefarming business since Giovanni let his collapse, and it's treated us as well as we have treated it.
We've made a trade where we can get the rarest and most valuable pokemon around without having to threaten a single trainer. The Universal Police doesn't even know we exist.
But Flare's gone, and with it Lysandre Labs and some of the most powerful trainers in Kalos, even Malva of the elite four is gone.
The throne is empty, and the Big C will take it.
The Sons of Az and Team Meanie are already moving. We must as well."
You applaud, your pokemon belt heavy with eggs as you look at your fellow grunts.
Finally, you will be on top, and no one will get in your way.
After all Team Smogogo knows everything.
You are Phil from Team Meanie and you have just finished defacing a pokemon center.
"Globalist fucks." You yell as you toss one last rock for good measure, you and your group dispersing before the cops arrive.
It's bullshit, pure bullshit. Ever since that faggot Lysandre decided to nuke the fuckin world because his bitch was a whore or some fuckin nonsense like that every thing went sour like bad milk.
How many fucks did the PTC give about the fact that the media was controlled by one of there elite four members? Bout as many as when they found out that she was a card carrrying murderous whore, which ding ding, was zero.
I mean fuckin A, if she didn't get shit on by the fuckin Limps with the weezing logo she'd probbbly still be around kicking lillipups or whatever.
The world needed a change, and the first way to that change was to get these fucking universal luminati PTC bullfucks out of Kalos. Not in your region, and specially not in your city.
There's a throne empty and you'd rather deep throat tauros shit then let anyone sit in it.
(For the record Team Smogogo's logo in universe is a weezing, I dont have a good image for it because it doesnt exist)
The church was still, men clutching candles as they looked at their pokemon in worry, fear for a unknown future.
The Speaker, aged and dressed in white, walked to the pulpit.
"Friends long ago there was a war. A horrible war, a war that was so vicious, its death so total, that a man ended it with a violence that has to this day have never been achieved.
In the days hence, the skys have split assunder as space and time waged, the sun as blistered the land with a heat so pittiless the water bubbled, and the sky has been cascaded with clouds that rained so fiercely we almost drowned in the sky's tears.
And finally, just years ago, AZ's burden was repeated, all because one SINNER," the man's fist slams into the pulpit, the listeners jolted in shock by the sudden violence, the preachers fist bleed slowly as the man continued unheeding. "Decided that his way was the one true way. His vision, the sole future. HIS right, the sole right in the world."
"The world has in the span of merely 8 years been under burden time and time again to survive. And it has! We've endured, the world endures. But it could have not. And these are risks that the world should not have to take."
"Look to the pokemon around you." The man continued, coughing into his hand, sickly in rapture. "Do you not love them? Do they not love you? But we bind them in canisters and sent them to places far away in machines we don't own. We regurally fiddle with teleporters and flesh to light conversions and things we don't understand.
Friends, humans are meant to be by a pokemon's side, its been this way since time.
But, and my friends this is important, we were NOT meant to toy with Arceus like we have. The world is meant to be lived in, not at our finger tips?
Would your partner abandon you if your pokeball did not force it to be with you? No! Not if your relationship is truly one of love.
Forsake your mortal pedestals, join the sons of AZ as pokemon's partners, not their rulers."
The man raised his hands, his left palm bleeding onto the floor. "There is a empty throne, the devil has left us as he drowned in his own hubris. Brothers, friends, join the Sons of AZ and let us be in his kingdom no longer."
The audience erupts into applause as the preacher smiles.
Soon, the lord will be pleased, and everything will be as it should.
It's been foreseen.
And thats the end of tis thread.
You have no idea how frustrating the crime teams were, especially to find stuff to use for them ugh.
I still need to find image references, it took forever just to figure out logos.
And team Smogogo's is still technically wrong (No points in figuring out that reference btw)
