>Okay, since there is a lack of responses or anyone creating a character at all, I will try this quest again from the top and this time I hope this goes smoothly for this quest for a GURPS newbie.

Introduction: High School, what’s so special about it? There is none, everything around high school is nothing special around here that’s anything more than normal.

Every day is just the same old normal day here at The Quinburry School of Young Geniuses were everything is just the usual old boring thing; You got the usual teachers that always teaches you things that in most cases can be boring; then you got the usual school bullies that can turn your day into hell. And finally, you got painstaking homework to do after-school that makes it feel like an eternity to finish all those stuff til Wednesday.

Like these four students who are having a hard time living at Quinburry who, as everybody else would not notice, has either had powers or not born as a human and they rather have to imagine a fantasy that they could get away from the hellhole that was high school.
But all those miserable days had come to an end when a mysterious stranger has entered high school out of thin air and the entire lives of four teenagers, including the students and teachers at The Quinburry School of Young Geniuses, were about to change forever as things go Oddside Down from there.

To begin the quest, you will need four character sheets in order to start this session.

(Addition notes: It is optional to write backstory for the four main characters and also portraits, too.)

This session uses the 4th edition rules of GURPS (Which I have the lite edition in a pdf folder.) so it is recommended to use the GURPS Character Sheet software which the link is here: http://gurpscharactersheet.com/

Good luck.

Okay, here is an example of what a character sheet looks like with my character, Tribunal.
>>
>>875750
It is made from another GURPS Character Creation Program you can use on browser: https://vonexplaino.com/code/gurps/
>>
Honestly Chargen goes better if players have structure, too many options just overwhelm people.
Also how cinematic/high power should we go?
>>
>>875789
I Think a mixture of powered fantasy with a little dose of sci-fi that takes place in a high school or something. Why?
>>
>>875890
I didn't see a points limit in the OP so without some guidelines we could end up with a party consisting of a cinematic gadgeteer who sleep builds, a 50 point IQ 14 (in game stats not actual I.Q. Score) young genius, a 200 point psychic and a vampire in a maids uniform with a katana and a fear of bananas.
Is that sort of party what you're looking for? Also how tablet friendly is are these programs?
>>
>>876101
You did not reply to my question the last time!
My question here is: >>871757

Also, where do you find the points limit?
>>
>>876367
I'm new this thread, I have no idea why your choice of image file matters. As GM you set the points limit and any other limitations (things like do you allow access to supernatural powers, it must make sense for them to agree to travel for an extended period of time, no maxing out tech level and taking Snatcher). A 50 point character is just a normal person (if that) good for doing one job whereas a 150 point character could be the lead in an action movie.
>>
>>876507
I think I set the usual character point limit to 50, and I used it all to create a character sheet like this here: >>875750
>>
Gurps is cool.
This approach doesn't work on qst though.

Your intro post lacks an interesting plot hook and backstory to get players to invest their time filling out a charsheet.

>our intro post lacks an interesting plot hook and backstory to get players to invest their time filling out a charsheet.
THIS
>>
>>876606
I think the intro needs to tweaked a little bit to make it a little more interest to the RP.
>>
Okay, now let's make the limits for the creation of the 4 protanginists. I think 80 char points each is fair, right?
>>
After all, I'm just trying to learn how GURPS work.
>>
So come on, people and let's have some fun playing through this quest.
>>
Pre gen some characters, it will get things rolling faster and avoid the vampire maids and "I can destroy the galaxy with my innate attack because range increases get out of had fast" builds.
>>
>>876994
Alright then, hold a moment, please. I have just finished 1 of 4 pre gen characters.

Finally, it's finished! Now I have to rest from all of the hard work that I have done, let me know what did you think about the pre-gen characters that I had made and I will see you tomorrow when we begin this session. Good night everyone!
>>
Ok let's see what we got.
>>877213
Odd to see jumping as a skill rather than something academic but ok.
>>877452
Language Talent isn't worth the points unless you plan on knowing lots of languages, on that note most of these students have a language listed on their sheet that they don't actually know, Crystal here can't speak or write in eleven due to them being at None.
>>877882
This guy has some good social stats but Enhanced Dodge costs the same as Combat Reflexes which is better in every way also Block is for using a shield, you might be thinking of unarmed parry as a block but if he tries to deflect a blow with Karate he rolls parry. Also it looks like he's only playing for one level of Charisma.
>>878209
You haven't said what type of Talent he has and you talk about recharging spells but he doesn't have any.
>>
>>879142
I thoughted I added language in those sheets. Maybe it was some glitch through the gurps lite character creation.

I will try to fix the the problem in a moment.

I have added language talent in the advantages, but oddly enough the latin still has none and I had already added native in it.

Like I had said before,I had already added the language in native but in the sheet it was none.
>>
>>879332 So it was possible that it was caused by a bug in the character creation.
>>
>>879336
The Only way to fix the problem is by using The Character Assistant Program. Which, sadly, I can not afford it at this moment. If anyone wants to send me a copy of that said software, pm me at discord under dewy60 and I will give you my Gmail address

>>
Boy, What a slow monday.
>>
>>879332
Language Talent upgrades your understanding of any non native languages by one level, as each level costs 2 points you brake even at 5 non native languages.
>>879459
I think you intended to give Arin Magery as you reference him being able to cast spells. The default magic system isn't very popular these days as better ideas have been made. Talent gives you a bonus to skills relating to your talent and a reaction bonus from people who would be impressed by your ability so an expert mechanic would get on better with the bikers he did work for.
>>879470
Overall this is pretty good.
I recommend stopping by a GURPS general on tg or the Steve Jacksons Games forum rather than relying on qst, you'll get people used to helping newbies rather than the occasional interested anon.
>>
>>879876
Thanks, so we are good to start the RP?

Also, like I said before, where do you find an archive of gurps books? (Which is possible that the character assistant software is in the said archive.)
>>
>God Tier Chan is waiting.
>>
>>880254
>Sheesh, that Monday is surely going slower in traffic.
>>
>>880574
What are you waiting for exactly? You wanted people to make character sheets and when no one did, you made your own. So what are you waiting for? People? People arn't going to post if they dont know what to post.
>>
>>880729
O.k, now I could start this session since I have made the 4 pre-gen characters in the first place.

Just wait for a few mouments for my first responce, okay?
>>
>We will begin this story in Jezingal's perspective since he has the most strength points in general.

It is another bustling day in the school gym as you lift some dumbbells to put more muscle in your arms, then you went to the exercise bench to crunch up your legs as you sweat like an olympian who ran across the field in a marathon.

After you have enough time on the bench, you walked towards to the bar to make your body more easy to climb up high places when suddenly you encounter a stranger in front of you.

You startle in a moment as you thought that someone is trying to scare him.

"Avatar," the stranger said, "I want to talk to you for a moment."

What did you respond?

1. "Who the hell are you?"
2. "Not right now, I'm trying to exercise. Would you wait for a few minutes, weirdo?"
>>
>>881058
>Ready for responses!

"Who the hell are you?" You asked.

"Good question," The stranger answered, "I would introduce myself to you, the name's Tribunal, demi-god of justice. I have come here to bring you an assignment that you must handle."

"But first," he then asked, "what is your name, please."

"Jezengal." you answered, "my name is Jezengal Wampole, but everyone would call me Wammy."

The Stranger then chuckled, "Wammy?" he said, "That's sounds like a simple name for a teenager who had rad classes on a hippie school filled with lesbian vampires."

"Thanks... Er, yeah," you replied "all these lesbians make getting a girlfriend hard."

"Anyway," you then asked, "what award do I get for completing it?"

Tribunal then smiles grimly and then he said, "Glad you have asked, Mr. Wammy."

He then casts a purple mist surrounding you and Tribunal as they teleport to a different world.

"Now, I have one little favor that you must complete." He said to you ""I wanted to give this gift from someone in an island far, far away from humanity."

He then gave you an egg-shaped basket as he was talking about the assigment.

"Why would you want me to deliver a gift to someone who possibly lives in a deserted island?" you asked, "And also, what's inside the basket?"

"Okay, one, the island has people in this," he replied, "but unlike these islands that were ruled by men, this island is inhabited by a different race of species."

"And two," as he finishes his answer, "I won't tell you what's inside the basket, you have to find out for yourself once you have delivered it."

He then shows you a rainbow afro wig with a hat attached, two cardboard circles for cheeks and a clown nose for a disguise, "You will also need this once you got to the house." Tribunal said.

"Why would you want me to wear this?" you replied, "Are you trying to make me scare someone to death?"

"Possibly," Tribunal answed "but you will see."

He then started to laugh, "Once you have done the simple task, I will give you another assigment after your first management class, Wammy, or would I say Red?"

"Management?" you said confused, "Why did you mentioned management class and who in the world is Red?"

"Don't worry, just do it what I had told you and DON'T BE LATE!" Tribunal told you.

He then started to vaporize as he continues to laugh maniacally and sooner or later the mists has been vanished, leaving you behind in the jungle.

What will you do now?
1. Start running.
2. "Why does he means by that?"
3. Yell someone for help.
