Previous Thread: >>852275Thread archive: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=A+Safe+HavenPastebin of Character combat information: http://pastebin.com/v6wsp2mxSummary of the story (outdated) http://pastebin.com/5vNphiNSTwitter: https://twitter.com/Stark1stLast time you had a quick talk with Mother about your plans for the future after falling unconscious following the battle with Kakuri and Tharja. You woke up to find out that Tharja was a broken individual, abandoned by her master but to find out the truth you sent Kagehana in to find out. At the sight of arguably torture, Yuki ran and you had to talk her through your reasoning. While talking with her you started to further question your own humanity and showcase it by attempting to seduce Yuki. It didn't work and after a bit more talking you returned to learn that Tharja had, in fact, killed Shirabu's parents. You informed your demon little sister of this and she marched down to "Talk" with her parents killer. Now you are talking with the two other Lords of Wa about the future of the island.
>>863999You gave your best speech for your idea to place Raiko on the throne, "The demons and dragons respect power and she has it more than anyone else around here. She is not clever but that's what the council of Lords will be for. And I am sure you two can just spin it the right way to your people. Something like Raiko still serves me with loyalty or I can easily manipulate that bird brain."You try to collect your thoughts before continuing, but also look at the faces of your audience. Shiromitsu and Ryuga are waiting for you to continue, their faces scrunched in a way that communicates, “Andddddd….?”"Ok course Lord Shiromitsu, you should be aware that Raiko doesn't like you much and Lady Ryuga, you do know how stubborn can it be. Plus I will be staying a while until you two either get married or things get calm enough. And I do want to expend some time with Shirabu.” Being reasonable was good, but also you feel the need to complain to really get them thinking. Also about Kakuri... what's that guy even doing as a Lord? He should be leading an assassination squad instead. Doesn't he have a little sister, a cousin or something? Because not only his arrogance is unbearable, he seems to think that just because he has the power to kill anyone that means anything to someone like the Master who just uses people as disposable pawns. Oh and he seemed to think the threat of death was enough to control a fanatic. Fanatics die for their beliefs!” You look around frantically for something to drink, due to your, “I just want this to be over.” Mentality. Alcohol would probably have been preferable, but alas in this meeting there was none. You decide just to settle down, recollect yourself and wait for the lord's’ response. Ryuga looks rather intrigued, “A puppet rulership then, haha, it could be… interesting…” The dragon lord smiles almost by reflex. It was almost as if they ignored your ranting that came moments prior.“It is a decent solution I suppose, the people don’t seem to like anyone of us universally and as a war hero Raiko could look appealable. My only concern lay in Shirabu, who is still seeking vengeance.” Shiromitsu extrapolated.“No problem, I think that is going to work itself out soon enough…” Your mind drifts back to your little sister's eyes lighting up with bloodlust as she walked down to the dungeon to confront her parents killer. You convinced her to calm down but still, knowing her there is going to be a mess.
>>894751Ryuga and Shiromitu exchange a look before Ryuga announced, “We shall test this system then, at least to see how the people react.” She makes a point of adjusting and tidying her hair, it already looked perfect but she is likely just making a gesture to communicate her loftiness in the situation. Shiromitsu respectively seems solemn before sighing, “Well with that settled we should return to management, Kakuri will be tried and executed tomorrow, Tharja is left to you and Shirabu. And we shall start to rebuild. Though I guess we should probably talk to your new proposed Lord of Wa first off.” Ryuga interjects, “She is likely with the young boy,” The dragon looks your way, “You should probably deal with that as you can likely convince him to let her go for at least the moment. Or at least, convince him to convince Raiko.” “Understood,” you affirmed. Ryuga points down a hall, “She will be over there in a room that likely looks as if it has been badly burnt.” Unfortunately for Adrian, you have some idea why. Gulping you head down the hallway. It wasn’t long till you came to a door that looked singed and barely together, it was quite from what you could tell but you didn’t know for sure. You knock, “Hello, Raiko? Adrian?” we need to talk, could you please answer the door if you are in there?” Almost immediately the door was answered by a familiar young man in Wa style civilian cloth clothing, “Hey leader, how is it going?”“Ummmm…. Okay?” you didn’t quite know what to make of this, he was bandaged all over but you didn’t know if that was because of his capture, or his, ahem* “activities.” Still, by his attitude he at least seemed mentally okay. It had been a little while since you last saw each other and you were concerned for his safety but he seems rather okay with all that is happening.>”What happened to you?”>”Raiko is becoming the Lord of Wa and you’re staying here so just let me grab her.”>Write in
>>894767>”Raiko is becoming the Lord of Wa and you’re staying here so just let me grab her.”
>>896626>>896631His aloofness intrigues you, but you came here for a reason. “Listen, Adrian, we are planning to make Raiko the ruler of Wa with the other lords as a council of advisors. That being said…” You rub your neck, “if, you don’t want to leave her, then you would have to stay here. I know that she is attached to you and I don’t want to tear you guys apart so perhaps it would be best for you to stay here, who knows you can even help her rule… with the council's advice of course…” It felt awkward to say at first, but you already said goodbye once in such a way, the second time around felt easier, but the prospect of never seeing him again left you oddly perplexed if not sad. He has been with you since that unfortunate encounter with the Sirens, but you are sure he could be happy here.Adrian’s gaze casts down for a few lingering seconds before he shakes his head as if to resolve himself for his answer, “I see, then I guess I’ll just have to act the part! Though King Adrian has a nice ring to it, I can finally try my chance at leading in your example.” Yeah, you're pretty sure he is giving himself far too much credit in his largely powerless position. Though you’re sure Raiko can let him down easy, so you’ll just let his imagination run wild now.“Haha, good luck then,” You chuckle at Adrian’s over the top interpretations before continuing, “Would it be okay to grab Raiko then? I need to bring her to the council.” “Ohh right, let me grab her then.” Adrian closes the door and after some shuffling around it opens with the ruler to be in the doorway. “Yeah what do you want?” She put as eloquently as you think she could have possibly done. “Ryuga wants to talk with you about something important and she sent me to come grab you.” She looks at you in some sort of mixture of annoyed/confused, before sighing. “Fine then, I can’t say no after your help retrieving my husband. Plus Ryuga does like you and I can sacrifice some time.” She begins to list reason after reason she should go as if she was reciting something that was just told to her before opening the door. Looking closely, in fact, you see a thumps up in the shadows of the doorway. You smirk before continuing, “They are in the audience chamber down the hall, I have to go elsewhere but I am sure you will be fine.” You wave off the Thunderbird before leaving.
>>897414That meeting they’ll have is sure to be a shocking in a sense, and although you are interested you are more interested in the dungeons with Tharja and Shirabu. That being said you head down the hallways and back to the dungeons. Upon arrival, you found that the walls were less red than you were expecting and Shirabu was sitting down outside of Tharja’s cell. Tharja was mumbling something to herself and Shirabu seemed to be watching her silently. You approach her and kneel down to her height, “Hey, did you decide what you are going to do?” “I tried to, but seeing her like this makes me wonder, Why? Why follow someone's orders without question like that?” She ruffles her hair and scratches her head, “It’s just annoying, I want to kill her but at the same time I want to know.” Your answer was simple“Fanaticism, but the only want to know for sure I guess would be talking to the object of her obsession. That, however, would be rather difficult and dangerous… for now though I think it would be best to…”>Kill Tharja>Leave her in jail to rot for now>Leave her alive and have Shirabu keep her>Leave her alive and take her with you, she can be useful to you yet>Write in

In fact, if you want I can make Kagehana and certain pervert bicorn help you to make her yours. Or you could kill her if you ever decide you want to.” It was a practical option realistically. “Okay,” Shirabu sighs. You then brought the young demon lord into your embrace, “I missed you a lot you know.” This wasn’t exactly the optimal time or place but you felt like you just had to let it be known, if not for that sake alone. “I am planning to stay for a while so everything doesn't just fall to pieces so we can catch up that way."“Onee-chan…” She whispered before returning the hug. “Aww now isn’t that just adorable.” came a rather cackly interjection into your sweet moment. “Do I get one too? The ability to live that is? I can do without hugs, cuffs would get in the way you see.” The snake lord taunted. “We have already settled what we had come for, you’re to be determined.” You shot back to the imprisoned lord. You remember he did want you to talk about his place with the council, but you kind of got caught up with Shirabu and Raiko that it slipped your mind. Either way you took care of the most important, at least to you, objectives now you’ll just have to stick around and make sure the whole island falls into Chaos. Still Kakuri will need to be dealt with. I also want to play with my little sisters."
>>897682>>897713Looking over the Snake Lord you think about where to go from here, "I will try to make it so you are just imprisoned for now, even if I really want you to die. At least I will try to keep you alive until we find a replacement because the snakes will most likely only accept another snake as Lord." You say honestly and plainly.Kakuri counters, “And what about my release?” “If the council decides that then they shall proceed. From here on you will have to appeal on your own terms to the current rulers.“Appeal to the ones that will likely kill me? Kekekek, I suppose it will have to do” He resigns before leaning against his cell wall. With that sorted out, you decided to head back out of the dungeon and begin witnessing what your help has brought.
>>898327You decided to stay at Shirabu’s for some much-needed family reconnect between sisters. It was nice getting some more time off relaxing in a castle that although it looked cold, was strangely warm. Today you got a letter from Adrian busy at work in his superficial title as consort. Well, he liked to use the word Emperor, but he too knew he had little power. It seems that they have begun construction on a new castle in the center of the island for the new ruler and likely council. From Adrian's writings, it is projected to be the largest castle with a soon sprawling town, fit for a new national capital. He seems to be rather happy and upbeat for his situation and the country as a whole. He insists you visit him once more before you leave, and checking up on him and the council would probably be best anyways. You say to yourself quietly, “That’s good, he seems to be making the most out of it.” You at least hoped as much after they made Raiko the named ruler. After all, when she found out she blasted another hole in Kakuri’s castle and ranted and raved about how she “didn’t want to do anything like that!” She grew calmer after the council explained that they made the decisions and Raiko was just there as a figure. Since then she has been cooped up with Adrian and keeping up appearances to the populace. Adrian writes about how often Raiko complains about the uncomfortable traditional clothing Ryuga forces her to wear. But at least things are working out. You roll over on your bed for a better position to read, and accidentally bump into your sleeping sisters. Who decided to take a nap next to since you happened to use the bed as a place to read. Shirabu has been thankfully incredibly housewarming and your time has been pleasant if not uneventful. Part of you still feels restless with that man out there, but you have come to appreciate these little times off. You carefully scoot your way out of bed to not disrupt the young ones. You would have personally liked to enjoy a nap yourself, but you had plans for the day. Tonight you were going on a date and you had best start preparing. After the things you did, and the fights you have been getting into lately you knew you had to do something to reconnect with Yuki and Aki, and you decided that a dinner date may just be the right way to start. You heard the place you were going to was formal, but considering you were in the demon lands you had no idea what their version of formalwear may entail. You decided to look at some of the more detailed and fancy black dresses shirabu had and with Anna’s yelp you created a duplicate in your size. Truthfully you dreaded putting on the dress as it will never compare in comfort to your loose fitting clothes, but since this was a special occasion you decided to put up with it. After all, you are going to want to look your best for your date.>Dinner with Aki>Dinner with Yuki>Dinner with both
>>898337>Dinner with Yuki
>>898337>Dinner with Yuki"Yuki... when did you fall in love with me? And... is there any changes about yourself that you want to talk about?"For some reason you keep imaging her as a Yuki Onna. Even if she has no ice powers or is cruel with men.
Sorry everyone but finals are consuming me. I'll be back when I can but I am off for now.I imagine, though, that everyone will wish to have a corresponding date with Aki. So in the meantime come up with date ideas. Lord knows Aki won't be able t come up with one.
>>898524Candlelight dinner outside, watching the stars and the moon. Soft music playing and delicious food.
>>898373>>898392“Are you finished yet? We’ll be late!” Yuki’s concerned voice penetrated through the door as she knocked. “I know!” you yelled back trying to get this infernal dress on properly. Yuki’s knocks grew louder and you found yourself hopping to the door while fidgeting. You just about had it by the time you reached the door, but you accidently tripped over the pair of dress shoes you had prepared and slammed against the door, just as you got the dress on properly. “Everything okay?” came Yuki again. You steel your resolve to not show the obvious sweat you managed to work up just getting the clothing for tonight on while opening the door. “Perfect…” you said with a half-hearted smile. Either you sounded convincing enough or Yuki was to distracted by the fact you put on a dress to notice. “Good then, we best be off. They say it is fashionable to be late, but you are already trying fairly hard in that aspect.” She smiles, “You look cute.” “T-Thanks,” you said nervously while gathering your bearings. Your next mistake came with your selection of dress shoes, which felt like jagged wood planks stabbing into your feet. You honestly don’t think you’ll ever understand how people can wear this stuff but for tonight, you guess you are.The venue looked rather surprisingly well kept and neat from the demon land standards, the guests, however, seemed to have a much more “liberal” definition of formal wear. Shredded clothing, some lacked pants, and others wearing outfits that leave rather little to the imagination. Some of them didn’t look half bad at first glance, but you shake your head and kept moving forward while focusing on Yuki.
>>901968Once seated you began to chat, “This place is rather fancy, they even have a fountain of…. Something?” You semi-awkwardly said, pointing out the fountain of green liquid that read, “Absinthe” You didn’t know what that meant and at least for the moment you didn’t want to. “Yeah,” She responded, “I was surprised they had such a venue here, I would figure these to be in Ryuga’s land if anything. But I am pleasantly surprised. Is there anything good on the menu….” You two small talk for some time until the food eventually arrived. Once you began eating you decided to take the conversation into a more serious turn, “Yuki… when did you exactly fall in love with me?” Yuki was mid-bite and the surprise of your question caused her to panic eat incorrectly and begin coughing. After a few small fits of coughing, with her hand still covering her mouth, she asks, “Where did this come from?” “Just curious, we have been friends forever, so I just wanted to know when these feelings started to come about.” Embarrassed Yuki’s face turns red, “Well…” She nervously plays with the rim of her glass of water, “I would probably say over the last summer break. I may have had the feelings for longer but I didn’t quite understand them in the way I do now until then…” She pauses and sighs, “Ahh, those were the times, nothing to do but have fun everyday and everynight… we practically were inseparable then.” Her eyes gaze down to her finger still running the rim of her glass, “I guess I never wanted to stops spending time with you. Every time we touched my heart began to race, and I never wanted the fun moments of the summer to ever end.” She pauses, her finger falling off the glass and her expression growing gloom, “But it seems they have, at least with all this.” She uses her head to motion to the restaurant and its patrons. You take Yuki’s hand into yours, “True, but at least we are still together.” She smiles at your reassurance, “Yeah…” For some reason, you keep imagining her as some sort of Yuki Onna woman from myth. She doesn’t have ice powers, nore is cruel to men but what are you thinking these things? You shake your head slightly and ask a new question emphatically, “Is there any changes about yourself that you might want to talk about?” She smiles and jokes, “Besides the part where my hands glow and people get better, no nothing much.” she giggles for a moment before answering again, “I don’t think I have changed all too much, at least in comparison to you…. I’m sorry…” Her eyes seem panicked, “....I didn’t mean to say it like that I just….” Again her sight is cast down for she could not bring herself to look at you after saying those things.“That’s okay Yuki…” You squeeze her hand, “The reason I asked was because I knew I was changing, and I just wanted to know if you were noticing anything or I was just imagining things.” you said in a reassuring voice.
>>901984Yuki slowly raises her head to look into your eyes, “I’m sorry… and thanks.” after taking a couple more bites out of your meal she begins to talk again, “This conversation so far been rather one-sided, so it's my turn to ask you, How far are you changing?” You were surprised, you had already told Yuki several times about this so why is she asking again? She begins to explain herself, “The reason I ask is because I feel that sooner or later we will run into That Man that hounds you and us. From what we have learned is that he is a monster, in the metaphorical sense, though he likely is one physically too. He has so far been someone with no disregard for anyone and that more than likely we’ll have to fight him.” Yuki pauses, but you also notice her hands beginning to tremble as she attempts to cut apart more of her food. “If or when we fight him and try to stop that world ending vision Yaga talked about, what are you going to be willing to do?” You were confused as you didn’t quite understand the question. She sees your bewildered face and rephrases, “To stop him what will you be willing to do? He is a monster, and monsters aren’t stopped easily.”>I’ll do anything it takes because he threatens everything. If I need to be a monster of a person to beat him, then I’ll become a monster>I’ll never do that Yuki, we’ll take him down the way we are no matter what>Write inThis will be the only post today as I just wanted to do something before slamming my face into a book for the rest of the day. Finals are in full swing, but I will be back and begin posting this weekend, likely Sunday like usual.
Finals are officially done and now I will have more free time to dedicate to posting. At least for a few weeks. I haven't quite thought of a schedule for winter break but for now I will be start up again on Sunday at 2pm like usual. From there we will see.
And of course, shit came up tomorrow at that time. To make up for It I will start posting around 12pm until I have to leave and then when I come back I will post for the rest of the day.
