Welcome to the country of Aliasia. Here we humans live and work together with mystical creatures known as pokemon. Pokemon like humans come in many shapes and sizes and interact with humans in different ways. From aiding us in the fields to helping us defend our homes pokemon are a daily part of life here in Aliasia. You head through the halls of the castle looking for the kitchens in the hopes of finding some breakfast. Luckily for you manage to find the kitchen without any trouble, thanks to the sounds and smells of cooking, and you knock on the door. It is opened be a lady with red hair.

“How are you”, she asks staring at me while holding the door closed.

“Oh hello my name is Donn and I just joined the Prince’s service”, you say noticing that her eyes widen at this, “I was just wondering if there was anything that I could eat”.

“Sure I can whip something up for you just wait right here”, with that she sits you down and starts running around the already busy kitchen and grabs you a piece of meat with some bread around it.

“So if you don’t mind me asking how did you join the Prince”, she asks as you eat

“Well”, you say swallowing you last bite, “I helped him out with a bandit issue and he let me join”.

“Really”, she says looking surprised, “That easy. I guess I could become one myself. Well any way I need to finish my work so I should get moving. The name is Lily by the way swing by if you need anything”, with that she walks away leaving you to finish your meal.

Once you are done you see that it is still a bit early so you feel that you could have some time for something before your duties begin officially.

You look around for the training fields, but can’t seem to find your way around the castle. As you are wandering you see a blonde girl dusting and straightening up with a small pink pokemon spraying mist around

“Um excuse me can you tell me where the training fields are”, you ask as you approach her. She quickly turns with a start at the sound of your voice and once she sees you she calms down.

“Yes sir just follow me”, with that she leads you around the castle, while you do your best to rember the route. You soon hear the sounds of fighting and are lead into the court yard. She leads you to the door and before you can thank her she is running of to complete some other task

Immediately you notice Mary striking at a dummy with a wooden axe. She looks over at you and waves before going over to the dummy. You take a good look around the training field and notice that in addition to other dummies set up around the place there are also targets, and a large crystal fixture.

You head over to the crystal and send Fe over to practice striking at a dummy. You analyze the crystal and see that there are hand imprints on its surface. So you place your hands on to the indents immediately you feel a violent ripping sensation rush into you. You try to remove your hands but your body doesn’t respond to your will. Thinking quickly you pour energy into your hands and the energy alieves itself for a couple of seconds before quickly returning. You spend a couple of minutes doing this in short burst before it becomes too much to handle and with one large burst you quickly remove your hands.

You look over at Fe who has been pummeling
the target and notice that she looks stronger.
You call her back over to you so she doesn’t get too tired. As you look over at Mary you see that she is watching you leaning on her practice axe. Noticing that you are done she walks over to you after placing the practice axe up.

“I see you were training your aura, I reward you for such diligence and effort. Aura training is something that everyone who serves the crown must have as it is a vital skill for any to have. This crystal is a basic tool designed to force ones aura out in a defensive manner. It does this by using an element that is weak to you and forcing you to use your energy to resist it. As you are now a part of the Prince’s guard I shall give you your own smaller one”, with this she hands you a ring with a clear crystal on it, “If you every want to train that way again just place your hand on it and it shall begin. Once you have completed that training and are able to use your aura as a defensive measure tell me and I shall help you with the next step. Now we must head to the main hall the Prince should be ready to go by now”.

With that the two of you walk into the castle and head to the main hall where the Prince and everybody else is waiting. Once the two of you arrive the Prince begins to speak

“Okay we will have two missions while we are here. Recruit any exceptional people, visit the villages for a status update or head over to the Vermillion River now. As you are more familiar with the area what do you suggest”.

Jonathan immediately responds saying, “I feel that we should take care of those bandits as every second that we don’t lives are in danger”.

“Well I reckon that we should head over to the villages. You know to check up on things”, says Lisa looking embarrassed.

“Well that’s a tie, what about you Donn?”

“Sir I feel that we should go recruiting”, you say looking at the Prince, “We may not have the enemy outnumbered as we are right now, and the enemy will most certainly have the advantage of position. We need to have an advantage and numbers is one of the easy for us to get”.

Evan thinks for a bit resting his hand on his sword. “Okay we shall quickly go recruiting before we go to the river. Donn is right we numbers would be a great advantage to have. However, do not just pick up any random person off the streets. Also, keep an eye out for pokemon from now on, as they too are welcome assets to the unit. Also, try to help anybody in need, for as you serve me I serve the people. Now go we will meet at the gate around noon”.

With that you all walk out of the castle and once you have left you head your separate ways. You consider your options and decide to head to…

You decide to head over to the market plaza. You examine the shops the and decide to look into Fate and Love. As you walk over to the door a scream comes from inside and the door. It immediately opens up and two men rush out of the room each holding a bag. Following them is a Purrloin and a Murkrow who seem amused by the whole ordeal.

You look into the store and see that the whole place is a mess, as if a storm blew through the whole place. In the center of it all is a lady with black disheveled hair and an equally disheveled black dress. She is sitting in the center of the room clutching a black doll.

“I should have known better”, she cries tears streaming down her face, “I should have known that no one would want to buy anything from me. I’m so sorry mom I have failed you again. Now the store will be sold and then we won’t have anything”.

The lady just sits there and continues to cry not noticing you. What should you do with this predicament?

You leave the store and try to follow the two men. For a while you are able to follow them based on the disturbance in the crowd that they create. However, after a while you are no longer able to find them, and you decide to head back to the shop.

When you get back you see that the girl has begun to clean up the store tears still falling from her face. Her doll is on the counter and seems darker than it was before. The store doesn’t look as utterly destroyed as it was when you initially looked in allowing you to examine it in more detail. There are not many actual goods in the store other than dolls similar to the one she had, but smaller. There is also a round table still on the ground and shards of a crystal ball that she is trying to sweep up. As you get closer to her she hears you enter and flinches looking up at you warily.

“Hello welcome to Fate and Love a store that shall guide you to your destiny. How may I help
you find the truth”, she mumbles with her head
downcast.

“Wait you really want to know what happened to me. You mean you care about me”, she gives you an intense look allowing you to notice that her eyes are strange purple.

“I guess I do. I mean I want to help you out”, you say rubbing the back of your head.

“Thank you so much”, she says as tears stream from her eyes, “You see I inherited this shop from my mother who was the fortuneteller and all of her fortunes would come true. This same happens to me, but all of my fortunes are bad ones. So everyone in the town hates me, and sometimes those guys come in and destroy the place and now I can’t afford to live here anymore. Then I will be out on the street and I’ll die and it will be horrid”, she says all if this only just slow enough for you to understand.

“Okay then can you tell me where they have their hideout”, you ask wishing you had something to dry her face with.

“No they don’t have a base it’s just that every once and a while they have a “witch hunt” and destroy my shop”, she says somehow still crying.

“Ok I can take this up to someone, but I will need your name”, you say offering your hand to pick her up.

“You really do care about me”, she says as she pounces onto you, “My fortune was right a knight would come to take me away. Please take me with you”.

You try to move her from your waist, but her grip is like iron. You decide instead to try to take her off to…

You decide to go find Evan to see if he could go help you with her.

“Ok I will take you to the Prince”, you say beginning to walk out the store with her still clinging to you, “He should be able to help you with this”.

At your mentioning of the Prince she quickly jumps back and panics, “What I can’t let someone like the Prince see me. What if he does and then he has a horrible accident happen, because of me. No I’ll just sit here bothering nobody”. With that she grabs her doll from the counter and sits in the mess.

“Just trust me nothing bad will happen. I so let’s go the Prince is surprisingly nice”, you say once again offering your hand.

She looks at your hand and then back at you, “Tell me your full name and then I will go with you”, she mumbles looking downwards into the dolls button eyes.

“Okay, my name is Donn Yen. What is your name”, you say as she looks up in Surprise.

“It’s Elizabeth Nix and you must really be my knight if you care so much”, with those words she jumps on you again. You walk around town and find the Prince standing outside of the weapon shop.

“Hello sir this is Elizabeth and she needs our help. She is running a store here and it keeps being destroyed by some thugs”.
“Ok first of all you can call me Evan, it’s easier for both of us. Second of all I can talk with Maximillian and see if she can get some protection. However”, he says looking over at Elizabeth who seems in awe of him, “we could also look around for them. What do you think we should do Donn”?

“Wait you can’t do that. It would just be a bother for you”, she says stumbling to the ground.

“Nonsense as the Prince it is my duty to help the people of Aliasia”, he says begin to walk around.

You quickly follow him and the two of you begin to search while Elizabeth follows you.

After a couple minutes of searching around the area you spot them coming out of a tavern looking rather tipsy despite the current time. You and Evan head over to the two men with Elizabeth timidly following behind you. The two men spot the three of you and stop staring at you and Evan.

“Hello sirs I hear that you have damaged this lady’s store”, says Evan looking at the first of the two a man with dark messy hair with a scruffy beard, and a Murkrow on his shoulder , “I would like the two of you to repay her for the damages that you have caused”.

The man laughs and his Murkrow seems to laugh with him, “You want us to pay back that witch. Sure we’ll do that when see pays for all the damage that she’s done with her curses. My friend’s girl got attacked by her pokemon thanks to her and my friend here was cursed by her to break his arm”.

“I don’t curse people. I can’t curse anyone. I don’t know why the fortunes come true, or why they are always bad, but it has nothing to do with me”, Elizabeth cries out once again bursting into tears.

“Shut up you dumb witch nobodies buying it”, says the second man, “Now if you’ll excuse us we have places to be”. He begins to walk off, but Evan grabs his arms stopping him

“You will be going nowhere if you don’t go and repay he for the damage that you have caused”, Evans says voice lowered.

“The hells with that hand of yours”, says the second man pulling it away in pain, “Ah I see no wonder you wanna help her your witches to. Baro time to do our duty for the kingdom”.

The two of them raise their fists at you and get their pokemon ready.

You quickly order Fe to mud-slap the second while you pull out your new string shot tag and place energy into it. Fe’s target takes the mud-slap to the face and falls on his back.

“You’ll pay for that”, shouts your target running at you with his knife. However he can only take a couple of steps before he is wrapped in the thread causing him to trip. After seeing how easily their masters fell the pokemon back up a little moving over to their masters.

Evan and his charmander walk over to the two pokemon and the men. Evan pulls some rope out of his bag and ties the two up.

“I can’t believe, it drunk in the middle of the day what kind of idiots are they? I’ll go ask the tavern owner to watch them for us you stay here”, says Evan as he runs inside.

You turn to Elizabeth and notice that her doll is radiating a dark aura and she is passed out. From the doll a dark shadow comes out and gets ready to attack you.

You raise up your fists and shout at the creature, “I mean her no harm I just want to make sure that she is okay”.

However the creature pays no attention to your words and leaps at you. However, before it can hit you Fe jumps in front of you, taking the hit. Before you cry out you notice that the attack seemed to do almost nothing and she is shinier than she was before.

The creature backs up and prepares to strike again, and it is immediately grabbed by Elizabeth.

“Maria did you cause all this trouble”, she asks the little creature. The creature looks downward and gives a sad cry. “What did I tell you about causing trouble for others? Oh I am so sorry please forgive me Maria sometimes acts out when I don’t pay enough attention to her”, she says as the creature returns to the doll.

Evan returns from the tavern with the tavern owner in tow. “Elizabeth her are your stuff back”, He says as he hands her the two bags that the men were holding earlier, “They used it to buy beer and the tavern keeper was going to turn it into the guard later”.

“Oh thank you they took the crystal necklace that my mother gave me”, she says smiling as she takes a , “They amplify my abilities and let me communicate with spirits easier”

“Wait you can talk to spirits”, shouts Evan giving her an incredulous look.

“Yes, I inherited that ability from my mother. It is what lets me get along with Maria so well”, she says smiling shyly.

At this Evan pulls you over, quickly motioning for her to stay where she is. “I think we should recruit her. Speaking to spirits would be a useful ability, especially for what may come to pass soon. What is your opinion of her? After all you spent more time with her”.

“I would say that she would make a great addition. Though she may be a bit clumsy she seems to have a lot of potential. Also, as you mentioned her being able to see spirits would make it much easier for us to do what we have to do”, you say.

He nods and the two of you walk back to her. When you get there she doesn’t even notice you as she seems to be caught up in the middle of a panic attack.

“Elizabeth I, Prince Evan Anim, would like to formally ask you to join my guard”, Evan says to her causing her to look up in amazement.

“What”, she asks looking at him in amazement, “What do you want me for? I can’t really do anything that well. Besides I have no experience”.

“First thing, you have a useful talent that no one else in the guard has”, he says giving her a smile, “and secondly, Donn here just joined my guard yesterday so you will be joining him in his training. So will you join us”?

“Yes I would love to”, she says jumping onto you and hugging tightly. All of a sudden she leaps off and her face shows worry, “What will I do about the store”.

“Couldn’t you find someone to run the shop for you”, asks Evan

“No, I can’t the only one who would possible do such a thing for me would be Mia and I don’t want to impose that on her”.

“Don’t worry I can compensate her for her trouble”, says Evan as he begins to walk towards the marketplace. The two of you quickly follow behind. You walk into Arcane Secrets and see Mia at the counter.

“Excuse me is your name Mia”, Evan asks walking to the counter, “If so could you please take over her shop for her as she will be joining my Prince guard. I will compensate you if you so desire”.

“It will be no problem you’re Highness”, says giving a short curtsy to the prince and turning to hug Mia, “I can have my brother run this place and I shall take care of it for you Mia. Have a nice time while you are away and don’t forget to write”.

With that business the three of you take her over to her store telling her to meet you at the castle. After waiting a couple of minutes you head over there yourselves and see everyone there with Mary standing next to a short boy carrying a Budew and Johnathan looking at Isis playing with a strange pokemon.

You all gather and you learn that the Boy’s name is Earl and his Budew’s name is Flo. Jonathan’s new pokemon is a Gothita and her name is Juno. After you all introduce yourselves the three of you head out on your way to the river.

You head down the path making good time along the way. You all make it to the forest and turn to go down the path that leads to the river. When you are about half way there you all notice that there is a cart across the path and three men in armor blocking the path.

The first man is holding a spear and has a Pansage on his shoulders. The man on the left is resting and axe on his right shoulder and has Pansear on his left. The man on the first’s right has a sword sheathed at his side and on his left shoulder has a Panpour.

“Halt, by the orders of Lord Maximillian no person may pass this way”, says the first man.

“That can’t be right”, says Evan as he walks to the front of the group, “I just talked to Lord Maximilian and he did not know of anything happening down the river. So what is your purpose here”.

“Well that would be to stop you", he says with a smirk, "men kill them now”, at his command four arrows fly from the forest towards Evan. However before they can hit the Prince they stop in the air and fly back into the forest. From the forest comes four shouts of pain that tell you that he succeeded in hitting them.

With that the three men in front of the cart and their pokemon begin to advance towards you.

The hidden archers are able to release another volley of arrows at the Prince, but once again the halt. You look over and see Jonathan’s eyes glowing red along with Isis and Juno. You immediately get into the assault pulling out one of your new tags and filling it with energy. Beside you Fe braces herself and strengthens her natural armor. You release the energy forming a toxic dart that flies at the Pansage striking it in the chest. As you go about this Lisa fires an arrow arrow at the Pansage causing it to fall off its master. It manages to land on its feet though it is very unsteady and it is immediately struck down by flames from Evan’s Charmander.

“Good work Char”, shouts Evan as he coats his blade in flames. He Rushes at the warrior with the spear, but is intercepted by the blade warrior, who’s blade is coated in a blue aura. As soon as the blades meet the Prince’s is extinguished causing the Evan to waver in surprise. Using that moment the warrior manages to give him a light slash across the side. The blade warrior’s Panpour jumps at Char and gives him a lick across the face unnerving him, but not paralyzing him.

The axe wielder goes to attack Evan also, however before he gets the chance to Mary cuts him down with her axe coated in lightening. Unfortunately for her, the spear warrior manages to stab Storm wounding him.

The axe warrior's Pansear who looks utterly confused is blasted by a thunder from Alexander and a direct follow up gust from his Noibat putting him down for the count.

Elizabeth looks towards the forest, and after putting her ear to Maria pulls out a tag. She gathers energy, but right away you can tell something is off about it. She sends it out towards the forest and you hear a quick shouts and then nothing.

Immediately from the brush rushes a Shinx alongside a Bidoof who both move to strike Elizabeth, but Maria conjures a ghostly hand that smack the away. The shinx tackles Elizabeth knocking her over onto her and begins to move toward her.

“Ow please stop I’m not a plant”, you turn to see Earl on the ground aside Digger being pecked by two Taillows. You notice that Flo seems to wander off into the bushes before you hear a yelp come from the bushes and it runs back satisfied.

Spear Warrior, Blade warrior, Panpour, Shinx, and taillows are fine.

You grab a net from your bag and try to throw it over the Panpour. However it managers to step out of the way and get Char caught in the trap. Drake tries to help out Char by flying at the Panpour, but it manages to dodge out of the way. The Panpour takes advantage of the situation and once again licks Char leaving him weakened, but still moving.

“Evan dodge now”, shouts Alexander as he raises his spell book. Evan quickly leaps out of the way barely missing the bolt of lightning that makes its way down towards the swordsman frying him. Before he has a chance to cheer three arrows head towards Evan. Three stop and change directions while the third keeps going. Three cries fill the air two from the archers in the forest and one from Evan as he falls to his knee struggling to stand.

“My Prince”, shouts Mary as she charges the spearman cutting into him with an axe strike that drops him to the ground. Lisa tries to fire at the archer who shot the Prince but the shot misses. Heading into the brush.

Noticing what has happened Elizabeth, who was trying to get up, looks over to the Prince. This allows the Shinx to tackle her bring her more pain. Seeing her master in trouble Maria conjures the hand again and smacks the Bidoof again finishing it.

“I can help sir”, Earl as he runs over to Evan. He is immediately struck by the Taillow pecking him again causing him to fall to the floor. Digger on the other hand manages to tackle the Taillow knocking it away from him. Meanwhile, Flo tries to get the archer, but you guess that the archer was ready as it quickly runs away.

With Evan on the ground the archer loses his arrow at Jonathan who manages to slow it down a bit before it hits him. Upon seeing her master get hit Isis’s eyes begin to glow a darker shade of red sending waves of malice outwards. As if summoned by her rage Alexander sends forth a thunder at the archer frying him.

The Panpour tries to take advantage of Char’s situation again, but he is struck by electricity from Mary and Storm. The Panpour falls down and Evan manages to get up and free Char. Earl quickly runs over to the Prince, fleeing from the Taillow. It tries to follow him, but Flo manages to distract it with an absorb. Before the Taillow can do anything it is struck by Storm’s discharge which also hits the Shinx. It stumbles around before it is hit by Fe’s headbutt finishing it.

The final Taillow tries to peck at Digger, and instead of dodging it charges at the creature with a tackle. The two attacks cancel each other out causing both of them to be knocked back. The Taillow is then struck by an arrow from Lisa ending the fight.

“Well that could have gone better”, says Evan clutching his side as Earl hands him a potion, “Well at least we know we’re on the right path. We could even use the cart they have over there”.

You head over to the woods on the right side of the path to see what is over there. You find the two archer bodies fallen onto the ground. One of the archers’ had fallen upon his bow creaking the bow, but the other is fine if a bit low quality. You also, find 34 arrows on the two of them, with 17 in each. When you walk back into the clearing the you see that Lisa is adding two quivers of arrows, one with 17 arrows and the other holding 16 arrows.
Adding onto the growing loot pile Evan places the weapons of the three warriors to the pile.

“Well that could have gone better”, says Evan as he gets up with Jonathan’s help. You see that he now has a bandage wrapped around him. Jonathan himself has a bandage over where he was hit. Earl comes over to the two of them and offers them a potion. Evan takes two drinking one and handing the other to char who sips it gratefully. Earl tries to hand one over to Jonathan, but he refuses taking out one from the store and drinking it.

“I think we should take that cart”, says Lisa, “It would let us transport prisoners, loot, and if we get tired we can use it to rest while still traveling”.

“That is a rather good Idea Lisa”, begins Evan, “but what about the Ponyta’s that is pulling the cart”.

“Oh don’t worry about them”, says Lisa begin to walk towards the creature the probably just took him from a farmer, and either way I have away with such critters”. Lisa walks over to the front of the cart over to the Ponyta’s that were hitched to the cart. She begins to pet them and reaches into her bag offering them some oran berries, which they eat from her palm.

“See piece of cake”, she says while walking back over to the group, “I’m gonna name them Flash and Flame. Flash being the male and Flame being the female”, pointing the first and second one respectively.

“Okay then less get going”, says Evan as he grabs some stuff and puts it in the cart and jumps in. Lisa and Digger heads to the front of the cart and grabs the reigns and Jonathan joins her with Isis and Juno. Alexander and Drake hop into the cart alongside Evan, and Earl and Flo hop into the cart besides them. You get into the cart on the opposite side with Fe jumping in beside you and immediately Elizabeth jumps in and begins to lean on you. Mary hops onto Storm and trots over to the side of the cart.

Seeing that you all are ready Lisa snaps the reigns causing Flash and Flame to begin to move.

“These people are too well-armed”, says Alexander addressing the group, “We need to find out who their supplier is. If it is one of the great noble houses it could cause a large amount of trouble”.

At that Earl pipes up, “Why would any of the nobles help the rebels?”

“Well earl”, begins Alexander, “It depends on which house is doing it, but most likely it would be to gain the throne. The most likely candidate would be House Silva as the rebels have mainly been active in this region, which they control. However, now I am beginning to believe that it may be House Hydros as the rebels are very well armed and Hydros' has good access to trade goods due to their control of the sea.”

Just as he finishes up you begin year the sound of rushing water. Lisa stops the cart and you all head out towards to the edge of the forest. As you all look over to the river you see a surprising sight. By the river is a camp of 15 men with a number of tents sprung up. Most of the men are around a central fire though some are over by some carts or tending to a group of Ponyta’s that are all in a corral. Evan falls back to the cart and all of you fallow him quietly.

“Ok here is the plan”, He begins, “First off we will…..

Roll 2d100. Also who gets what? There are 4 axes, 3 bows, 67 arrows, and 1 aura sword, axe, and Spear.
