Welcome to the country of Aliasia. Here we humans live and work together with mystical creatures known as pokemon. Pokemon like humans come in many shapes and sizes and interact with humans in different ways. From aiding us in the fields to helping us defend our homes pokemon are a daily part of life here in Aliasia. I am scholar Spruce and I have made it my life’s mission to study these incredible creatures. As such I roam the country to see as many kinds of pokemon as I can. Your journey is just beginning how it shall be shaped is up to you.

You head over to the woods on the right side of the path to see what is over there. You find the two archer bodies fallen onto the ground. One of the archers’ had fallen upon his bow creaking the bow, but the other is fine if a bit low quality. You also, find 34 arrows on the two of them, with 17 in each. When you walk back into the clearing the you see that Lisa is adding two quivers of arrows, one with 17 arrows and the other holding 16 arrows. Adding onto the growing loot pile Evan places the weapons of the three warriors to the pile.

“Well that could have gone better”, says Evan as he gets up with Jonathan’s help. You see that he now has a bandage wrapped around him. Jonathan himself has a bandage over where he was hit. Earl comes over to the two of them and offers them a potion. Evan takes two drinking one and handing the other to char who sips it gratefully. Earl tries to hand one over to Jonathan, but he refuses taking out one from the store and drinking it.

“I think we should take that cart”, says Lisa, “It would let us transport prisoners, loot, and if we get tired we can use it to rest while still traveling”.

“That is a rather good Idea Lisa”, begins Evan, “but what about the Ponyta’s that is pulling the cart”.

“Oh don’t worry about them”, says Lisa begin to walk towards the creature the probably just took him from a farmer, and either way I have away with such critters”. Lisa walks over to the front of the cart over to the Ponyta’s that were hitched to the cart. She begins to pet them and reaches into her bag offering them some oran berries, which they eat from her palm.

“See piece of cake”, she says while walking back over to the group, “I’m gonna name them Flash and Flame. Flash being the male and Flame being the female”, pointing the first and second ones respectively.

“Okay then less get going”, says Evan as he grabs some stuff and puts it in the cart and jumps in. Lisa and Digger heads to the front of the cart and grabs the reigns and Jonathan joins her with Isis and Juno. Alexander and Drake hop into the cart alongside Evan, and Earl and Flo hop into the cart besides them. You get into the cart on the opposite side with Fe jumping in beside you and immediately Elizabeth jumps in and begins to lean on you. Mary hops onto Storm and trots over to the side of the cart.

Seeing that you all are ready Lisa snaps the reigns causing Flash and Flame to begin to move.

“These people are too well-armed”, says Alexander addressing the group, “We need to find out who their supplier is. If it is one of the great noble houses it could cause a large amount of trouble”.

At that Earl pipes up, “Why would any of the nobles help the rebels?”

“Well Earl”, begins Alexander, “It depends on which house is doing it, but most likely it would be to gain the throne. The most likely candidate would be House Silva as the rebels have mainly been active in this region, which they control. However, now I am beginning to believe that it may be House Hydros as the rebels are very well armed and they have good access to trade goods due to their control of numerous port towns. In addition most of the attacks have also, been close to their territory.”

Just as he finishes up you begin year the sound of rushing water. Lisa stops the cart and you all head out towards to the edge of the forest. As you all look over to the river you see a surprising sight. By the river is a camp of 15 men with a number of tents sprung up. Most of the men are around a central fire though some are over by some carts or tending to a group of Ponyta’s that are all in a corral. Evan falls back to the cart and all of you follow him quietly.

“Ok here is the plan”, He begins, “First off we will…..

“First off we are going to try to surround the camp. Are goal is to surround the camp and attack from both sides. Now we the two groups will be me leading Alexander, Mary, and Earl on the close side and Donn will lead Lisa, Jonathan and Mary on the far side. Now let’s head out”.

With that you head into the bushes along with the rest of your group. The four of you manage to walk through the brush quietly, though you do step on a couple of branches. The camp is too far away to hear you. You manage to get close to the Ponyta corral before you hear an alarm.

“Intruders at the camp everyone on duty”, comes a shout from the camp. The bandits stationed at the corral turn and begin to run towards the other side of the camp. You raise your hand and quietly signal to the rest of the group to move a bit closer to the camp. The four of you move quickly and quietly towards the camp. Your progress is interrupted by some of the rebels quickly running past you. However, they don’t seem to notice you and instead head towards a large tent in the center of the camp. The bandits head into the camp and intrigued you move a bit closer to the tent.

“Sir, it seems that we are under attack. What should we do?” asks a rather nervous voice.

“Cain what are their numbers?” asks a significantly calmer voice.

“Well it is only four people, but they are so well armed that thy must be with the Silva’s. Which means that they are probably an advanced guard which means that an army is coming soon and we need to get out of here now”, answers the nervous voice.

“Cain what have I told you about needless worrying,” says the calm man, “We can easily handle four people no matter how well armed they are. Besides if we just move into our base of our hunter allies they will be hard pressed to find us. Now quit worrying and tell me what our benefactors have said”.

“Well in the latest shipment they have sent us some mixtures that can be used to catch more pokemon. They also sent us some more of those fire starters. Also, this shipment sent a rare pokemon for you but it is still over in its cage by the river”, says the nervous voice with a small tremble in his voice.

You signal again to the group to head over to Evan. You quickly move away from the tent and begin to head towards the sounds of the fighting.

All of a sudden a number of bolts of electricity burst from over where Evan and the others are. The electricity is followed by a blast of thunder which you feel pushing you back a bit. In addition to the electricity some flames erupt over there catching some of the tents on fire.

“What was that”, shouts the nervous man as he rushes outside of the tent. Almost immediately he catches sight of the four of you and calls into the tent, “Boss they’re in front of the tent what should I do”.

“Kill them obviously”, says their leader as he walks out with a Houndour at his feet and sword in hand. He is followed by two other people who grab the swords at their side and have their Starlys begin to fly beside them.

“Ok boss”, says the nervous man, “Come on Pat its fightin time”. At this a Patrat that was behind him steps out looking equally nervous and grabs a sword. Looks like you’ll have to stand and fight.

Immediately the nervous man falls to the ground in pain and his Patrat passes out. You look over and see Jonathan and his pokemon eyes a glow staring at the two.

“What the hell, they have psychic”, shouts the leader looking at Jonathan with a hint of worry.

Taking advantage of his distraction you reach into your bag and grab a poison sting tag and charge it. He sees your motion and goes to touch a ring on his right hand, but it is too late for him he gets hit by the needle. The man stumbles, but recovers himself send his Houndour forth. The creature launches a blast of fire at Fe, who tries to counter with a mud-slap. Unfortunately, she fails and is glanced by the blast. However, despite it being a glancing blow you see it did serious damage.

The second of the two sword wielders charges at Elizabeth with his Starly. As Elizabeth begins to dig in her pouch for a tag the Starly flies at her, and is immediately intercepted by Maria who once again conjures a dark palm and smacks it to the ground. Elizabeth grabs a tag and releases the spell which nicks the man doing a bit of damage.

The first of the sword wielders has a bit more luck than the others. He rushes at Lisa and manages to slash her across the side. She tries to retaliate, but the wound throws her off and she misses. Seeing how the battle is currently going you decide to grab some more firepower and reach into your pack. As you do two screams rip it the air. Ahead of you the nervous man lies dead slumped over the body of his Patrat, with blood coming from his nose. You turn to the source of the other scream and see that the 1st swordsman over a kneeling Lisa clutching his head. He falls to his knees and you see Jonathan walking towards him with Isis and Juno, all of the eyes aglow. His Starly tries to help him, but he is quickly assaulted by Digger with a quick attack getting sent back.

You quickly turn back and grab the crossbow that you got from the hooded man in the cave. As you load a bolt into the crossbow and begin to pull it into place the leader raises his hand. At that signal the Houndour readies another ember, but is interrupted by Fe sending a Mudslap into his mouth. The creature flies back and begins to cough up mud. The leader seeing that his Houndour got hit that badly raises his ring hand once more, but this time is meet by your bolt piercing through his neck. The leader falls down immediately dead.

Seeing that the leader and the other two had fallen the ground he runs towards Elizabeth. Before she is able to get a tag he rushes past her, pushing her down, and moves around the tent. Fe tries to hit the Houndour with another muslap to finish it off. However, it manages to roll out of the way in time. Luckily for you it allows you to rush in and slash it across the throat finishing it off. You turn over to try to help Lisa, but you see that it is already taken care of it. The swordsman is lying dead with Juno and Isis poking him, and for a couple seconds you see a strange look in her eyes. Jonathan is sitting by her and is bandaging her wounded side. Lisa on her part is drinking a potion and occasionally wince’s in pain.

While Lisa is getting healed up the Starly comes in for a wing attack on Digger. The Starly manages to land the attack on Digger sending him tumbling back. Seeing this Lisa stumbles over and manages to slash the Starly finishing it off. However, this does cause her to double over in pain from her wound and Jonathan and his two pokemon catch her gently and lay her down.

Elizabeth quickly gets up from her position on the ground and rushes to follow the fleeing swordsman. Maria quickly floats behind her and within seconds they are out of sight.

With your portion of the fight taken care of you are able to pay more attention to the sounds of the battle that Evan and his group are locked in. “Okay then, take good care of her”, you respond after petting Fe and directing her to Jonathan.

As you walk over to the river you hear that the sounds of battle have gotten even quieter. All of a sudden there is a huge blast of fire erupts forth. It is accompanied by two bolts of electricity striking the center. You pick up the pace and begin to jog to the river so you can go see what had happened quicker.

You make it to the river and see that bandits had left a lot of stuff around the river. Ranging from rags to bones to random bags. Inside of the cage you see a small blue and white creature with a shell on its stomach. Hearing your approach it backs away in fear stumbling over itself in its panic. As the creature trips over itself you notice that it has a large scar across its back. The creature also seems to be malnourished as all of its movements seem to lack any strength.

You take your eyes away from the sorry state of the creature and examine the cage it is in. The cage is a small one made with iron bars with a wooden top and bottom. You search around the battlefield for some loot, but are greatly disappointed. Due to the nature of the attacks that Evan and his group used there is very little that is usable over there. You head back into the camp where you fought your enemies and luckily it gives you a better yield. The two swordsmen where wielding normal blades. However, the leader and the nervous man have two strangely shaped blades which Mary calls a katana. They both were made of aura metal like the weapons of the guards earlier. Finally you pick up his ring.

“Ok what is with these rebels”, says Alexander, “That is an assault ring. They are some of the most expansive things to obtain and he has one. This is suspicious”.

As he says this Mary looks down at your hands and glares at you.

Do we have a lead where to go next? If so, we should head there as soon as possible. If not, we might want to rest and gather clues first.
Also, we should keep the prisoner as exactly that. If we manage to show him the good side of nobility, he might change his mind.

“That will be enough Donn we shall see if he will be more responsive in the morning”, says Evan, “for now let’s just tie him up and put him in a tent under guard. You will be on guard duty first Donn so just find a tent and tie him up in it.”

“Okay then sir”, you reply and you begin to drag the man. Suddenly the man becomes lighter, and you turn around and see that Elizabeth is helping you carry him. Noticing that you are looking at her she begins to blush and smile at you. The two of you find a tent by the river and tie him in the center of it. Then you both sit by the river with the creature playing in the river and occasionally looking back at you.

“Thank you for helping me and letting me join you guys”, says Elizabeth as she looks over to you.

“It was no problem”, I reply turning to her, “I just wanted to help you out, and besides you were great today”.

“No you really need to know that it means a lot to me. If you ever need anything from me just ask and I will do it no matter what it is. So anyway what pokemon is that”, she asks looking at the pokemon.

“I don’t know what kind of pokemon he is I just found him in the cage”, I reply looking at the pokemon as he floats on the river.

“Well what are you going to name him”, she asks, “I mean you can’t not name a pokemon that follows you”.

What will I name the creature

It's actually following us? After the rolls I made?
I think a name like 'Lucky' would be fitting.
>>978251
Nice to see you're back.
>>
“With how much of a pain it was to free him, and how embarrassing it was I find it lucky he is following. So I will call him Lucky”, I reply.

At these words the creature pops up over by me and smiles having heard his new name. You stand up and head back over to the tent with Elizabeth. The two of you stand guard for a good while, but nothing happens. After standing guard for a while with lucky sleeping atop tired Fe Jonathan and Lisa appear and relieve the two of you. You wave to Elizabeth and wish her a goodnights rest, though it looks like she has something more to say, and head into a tent.

When you get in the tent you see that there is a bed roll laid out in the center of the tent and not much else. Fe lays down as she normally does and Lucky lays his head down on her side.
Seeing the your Pokemon fall asleep you do so yourself.

You wake up well rested and fully restored. You wake up your two Pokemon by nudging them with your hands, which you notice are no longer numb and only have a faint blue on them. You decide to head over to the river with your Pokemon. When you pass by the tent you see that Mary is on guard duty at the moment.

“Oh good morning Donn”, she says turning towards you, “Do you know what happened to me last night. The idiot tried to break free so I had to knock him out. Luckily it was nothing I couldn’t handle. Are you feeling better from your idiocy yesterday?”

“Yes my hands have healed right up”, you reply.

“Good seeing how you tried to do that I can teach you the path to begin doing that properly If you would like”, she says grabbing the axe besides her, “You could also learn how to channel aura from your blade or defensively. You also could just train yourself or your Pokemon. So what will it be?”

>A. Aura attack
Our aura is a mighty weapon, as it can't be stopped by armor. We should use it to its fullest.
>>
>>979458
Guess who is losing their hands from improper use of aura.
>>
“I would like to try training my aura”, you say looking at her.

“Fine then follow me”, as she says this she walks back into the camp and stops at a tent. “Jonathan head over to the tent and watch the prisoner”.

Jonathan walks out followed by his Pokemon and heads to the tent. Mary continues on her way and leads you to the field. Once you get there she lays her axe down beside her.

“Using aura requires focus and will power”, she says as she holds her palm out. All of a sudden a small ball of electricity appears in her hands, “You must let your energy flow through your body and out into the world”.

You try to follow her instructions, but you can only call up some cold in your palm. You begin to feel the sensation from yesterday, but Mary quickly grabs your hands stopping it.

“You can’t force it out you have to let it go out naturally”, she says looking at you, “But don’t worry this is a hard technique to learn so just keep trying”. With that she begins to do some push-ups on the ground.

What shall you do now?

Sounds like a good way to bond with Lucky. If Fe is feeling well enough, she may join as well.

“Ok Lucky let’s see what you can do”, you say to the small creature.

He gives you a smile and leaps into action. First he performs a standard tackle charging forwards. He then stands still as he gathers some energy and afterwards seems surer of himself. He then sprays some water around him which doesn’t seems to do anything, though you guess the wet earth would make things harder for fire types. He ends it off with a small blast of water from his mouth.

“Ok Fe it’s your turn now”, you say to her.

She waddles over and smiles at you. First she shows off the ever popular mud-slap. She then moves on to head-butt a large rock in front of you. Suddenly she the rock and some others fly up and slam down together. She ends it all by charging the rock as if she was tackling and then raises a foreleg and slashes it with her shining claws marking the boulder. She turns toward you smiling with pride at her accomplishment.

So how will you train them?

2d100
A. Teamwork
B. Move power (which moves)
C. Move versatility(which moves
D. Speed
E. Stamina
F. Tactics (suggestions?)
