/qst/ - Quests

In a time of global crisis, an elite international task force known as Overwatch was formed. Soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities: together, they ended the Omnic Crisis and restored peace to a war-torn world. The heroes of Overwatch kept peace for a generation, inspiring an era of exploration, innovation, and discovery.

After many years, Overwatch became troubled, and finally disbanded. World conflict began to rise again. Overwatch was goneā€¦but the world still needed heroes.

You are a young man who's been many things: adventurer, treasure hunter, freedom fighter, and international criminal. Recently you encountered the re-formed Overwatch: a grand title for two ex-agents, Winston and Tracer, operating as outlaws out of an abandoned Watchpoint. Despite their down-and-out-status, or perhaps because of it, you were inspired to join them. You left your old life behind to become the first recruit of the new Overwatch.

Now you and Tracer are travelling the globe, defending the people of the world from harm and searching for potential agents to rebuild Overwatch. The world needs heroes. Maybe you can be one of them.

Previously on Overwatch Quest:

Athena alerted you to a Titan-class Omnic rampaging through a city -- and that the engineer Torbjorn was already on his way, alone. When your strike team landed, the local omnics and drones were overcome by a corruption hack. While Reinhardt and Mercy defended the civilians, Tracer helped you get inside the gigantic mech. There you helped Torbjorn get to the cockpit and put a stop to the rampage, and rescued him from a poison gas trap. Mission accomplished, you returned to the Watchpoint.

Another morning at Watchpoint Gibraltar. You watch the sunrise with a mug of steaming coffee in your hands, enjoying the feeling of the caffiene working its way into your nerves, and the morning sun on your face.

Four times you've gone out with Tracer in the Aurora, and four times you've come back with objectives cleared and an agent for the new Overwatch. Maybe you're starting to get the hang of this.

Of course, three out of those four times there's been a battle, and the agent came away wounded. Well, maybe there's room for improvement too.

No immediate crisis to deal with. You think about what to do with your morning.

You head back down the stairs to Mercy's improvised medbay. It's still mostly whatever medical supplies she brought from her hospital in Zurich, and some old cots to lie on.

Torbjorn is sleeping on a cot while hooked up to a biotic respirator. Mercy is already here, dressed in dark slacks and a white sweater, typing on a datapad. She looks up as you enter. "Hello, Seeker. Come to check on my patient?"

>Yeah. How is he?

"Yeah. That and myself. I got zapped by some defence drones inside that mech. It's not serious, but I was wondering if you could take a look."

"Certainly." She puts down the chart, takes out her portable scanner. "Where does it hurt?"

"Here," you say, tapping your chest where you got laser beamed by two of those drones.

"Show me, will you?"

You just now realize you're going to have to take off your shirt for this. Okay. No problem. Act cool. Just another visit to the doctor. You pull your shirt over your head, set to the side, and casually glance down, hoping all that nutrient paste didn't go to your gut. You've still got abs. You breath a private sigh of relief.

Mercy takes out her scanner and begins to examine your wounds.

"How's Torbjorn?" you ask her.

"He's stable, for now. Vitals and GCS are within standard limits. The biotic respirator will heal his lungs, given time. It would be faster and safer to grow him a replacement pair, but I haven't the technology here." She meets your eyes. "Perhaps if I had an actual medbay, with decent equipment."

"Yeah, that would be nice."

She arches an eyebrow.

"Wait ... me? What do you expect me to do about it? I don't control finances--"

"You're right. Winston is the only one with the access codes to our remaining funds. But he lets Athena take care of finances for him. And ..." She glances around, then looks back to you. "Rumor around here has it you've got her ear."

"That seems to be true," you say. "I legitimately have no idea why anyone is taking orders from me. I'm just rolling with it."

"You're decisive without being reckless. According to Tracer and Reinhardt, you make sound tactical decisions in combat. And you have a way with people." She shrugs. "That's already more than I can say for anyone else on this base. Winston is too kind to make hard decisions. Lena and Reinhardt are brave but emotional, and that makes them predictable. Jesse is a fine soldier, but not a commander. Who's left? Myself?" She laughs. "Can you imagine?"

"Damn. And you're normally so compassionate."

She smiles. "A doctor must know when to be compassionate and when to be practical."

You think of the two beams on her staff, the healing beam and the damage boost. "I take your meaning."

Mercy engages some kind of biotic device near your wound. A small yellow field extends from the device to your flesh, and you feel the pain being soothed. After a few moments of this, she steps back. "Finished. It should be healed shortly, without a scar."

"Thanks," you say, pulling your shirt back over your head. "About the medical equipment, I don't want to make any promises. No idea how much we have in the bank right now. I'll see what I can do without stealing any equipment, or going behind the team's back."

"Of course. I ask only that you check into it. It's for the good of the team, after all. You wouldn't want to return from combat with holes in your vital organs, only to find we still haven't got regrow tanks, would you?"

"No, that would be bad," you admit.

"So doc," you say. "What sort of things do you get up to when you're not healing wounded Overwatch agents? Got any hobbies? Interests? Things you do in your spare time?"

"Er ..." Mercy blushes slightly. "W-well, I ... clean my apartment? I water the plants--"

"Oh, man! Are you serious? You don't have any, do you?"

Her brows furrows. "I've been slightly busy as a world pioneer in biotic research and battlefield medicine. My developments are still at the forefront of life-saving technology. The rest of the time, I've either been out in the field being shot at, or more recently, teaching at the university. Where should I find time in there for a "hobby" as you put it?"

"Sorry, doc," you say, laughing. "But that's no good. How can you save humanity and then not appreciate its culture? What about when you were a kid? Did you do anything then?"

"The standard sorts of things, I suppose," she says. "Piano lessons. Ballet. If nothing else, I learned to appreciate the value of elegant precision. I lost interest in all that when I discoved medicine."

"Yeah, it'll be great," you say. "I'm gonna go check in on the Bastion. See you tonight!"

"See you then." Mercy smiles and waves to you as you leave the medbay. You feel like you grew a little closer to her.

You head down the winding path through the hangar, under the Aurora, and hear a couple of gunshots. You freeze for a moment before you recognize the sound as the Peacekeeper revolver. You enter the garage and find McCree practicing his quick-draw on the training bots.

"Howdy," he says, tipping his hat to you. "Seeker, was it? Thought I'd work the rust off my aim here."

"Good stuff," you say. For some reason you feel really anxious to see Bastion, so you leave that conversation for later.

In the Server Room you find Bastion. He stands in his usual spot, tilting his head at the little yellow bird who's perched on his finger. At your arrival, the bird tweets and lifts into the air, circling around the room near the ceiling.

Bastion gives you his "Hello" beep, his central eye flickering.

"Hey, Bastion. How you doing?" You wait a moment, to no response. "Right, still on yes or no questions only. Do you feel good? Still happy to be here?"

Bastion beeps once for yes.

You check the nearby terminal. "These scan results are just about finished ... I can't make any sense of this stuff, though."

You'll ask Winston and Athena about the scan results later. For now, you pull up the other chair beside Bastion and sit down. "Hope you've settled in okay, pal." you say to him.

Beep.

"Did McCree take you for a walk yesterday?"

Beep.

"Good, good. Me and the others have to go out on missions sometimes. But we'll try to always leave someone here with you." Partly because you might still have a Talon sleeper program embedded in you somewhere, you think but don't say.

"Going to have a movie night tonight, bring the whole team. I don't know if you can come, but I'll try to make it happen." You think about Torbjorn in the medbay. "We've got a guy on the team now who might not be thrilled at the idea of hanging out with an Omnic. Or working with one. But I'm going to do what I can to keep you on the team. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I'll figure something out. Guess I can add managing the anti-Omnic prejudices of agents to my list of shit to worry about.

"Not exactly sure why I'm the one dealing with all this. When I joined Overwatch, I figured I'd be the new guy, you know? The rookie. I'd just go where they told me to, and shoot Omnics -- not you, buddy, I mean bad guy Omnics -- and I'd work my way up. Get responsibilities gradually. Maybe someday make strike commander, feel like I earned being a big shot. Instead, somehow I'm in charge from the first day I join. It's not official, but they're all listening to me. I don't get it. I'm not a leader."

Bastion beeps twice.

"Huh? Are you saying I'm, er ... not-not a leader? That I am one?"

Beep.

"Geez. I don't know what to say that. Heh. I think a robot's going to make me blush." You reach out and pat the Bastion on the shoulder. "You're all right, Bastion. I think you're the only one around here I can count on to listen. Oh, right. I got you something ..."

You take out a blocky, colorful datapad. "It's a kidpad. Remember I told you about this? Human kids use this to learn basic stuff. They learn how to read, how to count, what sound animals make ..." You press the cartoon pig on the nose and it oinks happily. "It doesn't really make sense, a robot learning like a human kid. But if you can understand me, clearly you can already process human language, so you should be able to synth a voice with Athena's help. So none of this makes sense. Might as well try something basic and see what happens."

You hand over the kidpad. Bastion accepts it with his single hand, looks down at it.

"I'll let you try it out," you say, standing up. "See you later."

As you head out of the server room, you glance back to see Bastion lay the pad down on a nearby table and carefully touch it with his finger. A cow moos.

Binary is nice, too, but I think our best bet would be something involving hexadecimals. We could rig up something like that one part in The Martian when Matt Damon used the Pathfinder lander to communicate in complex sentences with Laurence Fishburn back on earth.

You walk out of the Server Room into the Garage. McCree is still there, practicing his headshots and fan-the-hammers against the training bots. He tips his hat to you again, then quickly turns and fires. You see one of the bots get its head blown to pieces. Whoever invented self-reassembling training bots was a smart man, you think.

You watch McCree reload his gun, thinking about what to talk to him about.

"Looks like you're in fighting shape again," you observe.

"Yessir," says McCree. "All patched up." He aims at another training bot and blasts it. "Feels a mite weird, being back here at the Watchpoint, getting back into it and all. Long time since I did a proper "mission." But at least I should be healthy as a horse."

You take a seat in the chair of a nearby forklift. "What do you hope you end up doing? Right now we've been concentrating on recruiting the other agents. But once we've got enough people that we feel like, okay, the team is ready. What do you want to come after that?"

He shrugs. "Bust the heads o' some bad guys. That's about as far as I thought ahead." He aims again, shoots another robot. All of them are currently in repair state, so he holsters the gun.

He turns towards you, lights a cigar, and sticks his thumbs in his belt. "When I went after the Deadlocks, it reminded me what kinda scumbags are in this world. People who don't want nothin' but chaos and disaster. Back in the day, when I lived that life, there was a certain code. Now they got no code, no honor, no nothin'. They don't even want money. They just want to burn. So who's gonna do something about it?"

"Me and you," you say.

"Damn right, kid." He nods, satisfied, and puffs on his cigar.

"Hey, I've got an idea," you tell him, standing up. "When those bots fix themselves, why don't we have a little shooting contest? See who's the better gun."

McCree says, "Huh. You think that's a good idea, do you, kid?" He shakes his head. "Dunno if you're cocky or stupid, but either way, I gotta admire your brass." He draws the Peacekeeper, twirls it once. "Well I ain't one to back down from a challenge. Yer on."

While waiting for the training bots to repair themselves, you find some old glass bottles in a crate behind the forklift. When the bots are back online, you set two against the back wall, and hand each of them two bottles.

"Okay," you say, walking back to a good distance. "They're each going to throw the bottles into the air. Shoot your bot's bottles, then headshot the bot." You pull out your weapon and spin it into gun form. "Sound good?"

"Works for me," says McCree. "Ready when you are."

The two of you line up.

You wonder if he's going to say that thing he says. Probably doesn't for a practice shoot-off against the recruit.

You say, "Go!"

The robots throw their bottles into the air. You blast the first bottle and headshot the robot with good speed and accuracy, but the shot you meant to hit the second bottle goes wide. You try to catch it before it lands with a couple more shots, but miss those too, and it shatters on the ground.

McCree fires three times and nails three targets in no time at all, like it was the most natural thing in the world, easy as breathing or sleeping.

"Goddamit," you mutter.

McCree guffaws. "I think ya forgot one, there, kid." He reloads his gun and holsters it. "Weren't so bad, though. You were fast. Just gotta work on that aim. Give it practice, you'll be fine."

From someone of his caliber, that's probably a compliment. "Thanks, I think. Maybe I'll have my revenge some other time. For now, I gotta go talk to Winston. Oh, hey, right. One last thing. What do you think about a movie night tonight?"

"Huh." McCree scratches at his head under his hat. "Why not? Can't hurt to raise morale and all. Let me know what you figure out."

"What results on the Bastion scan?" you ask her.

"Inconclusive," she says.

"What the hell? Aren't you almost finished?"

"Ninety-eight point nine percent. The data remains inconclusive. I am no closer to determining the cause of the Bastion's supposed sentience. A great deal of his programming was overwritten seemingly at random, and I have not determined anything useful from it. I am experiencing a state humans might refer to as "frustration.""

"You and me both, lady," you say. "How does this make any sense? Any Omnic should be able to do advanced math or synthesize speech, but I'm teaching it to speak with one beep for yes, two beeps for no. Just ... keep trying, okay? Try to find out anything. For now, let's tackle something easier." You stop and look around. "Is there someplace around here I can set up a movie theater? Like a projector and some seats. I want to have a movie night. Get some team bonding going."

"There are two functioning rooms available in the Watchpoint," Athena says, showing you a blue map of the facility. Two rooms out by the launch pad flash in brighter blue. "Either of these would be suitable. One of the holo-projectors can be adapted for two-dimensional entertainment display."

"Okay, either of those should be fine. I'll set that up later." You notice the other room out by the launchpad, formerly empty, now marked "Medbay". "Still not much of a hospital. Athena, do we have it in the budget to upgrade that room, get Mercy some proper equipment?"

"It is possible. Our currency reserves are limited, but that expense lies within the budget. However, you'd have to secure additional funds somehow to make any other significant upgrades to the base."

"Okay, I think I'm going to order the upgrade," you say. "But just in case, what else could I use it for?"

Athena shows you a schematic of a medium-size transport aircraft and some kind of engineering equipment. "Priorities are MV-261 Orca aircraft for increased transport capability, and equipment upgrades for engineers."

"Where does this money come from, anyway?" you ask her.

"Before Overwatch disbanded, I took the liberty of hiding some of our reserve U.N. funding in accounts which only I can access."

"That's ... devious of you. What have you been spending it on?"

"Peanut butter and bananas, mostly."

"Right ..." Something occurs to you. "So you and Winston. Have you been living here at the Watchpoint the whole time? Ever since Overwatch disbanded?"

"Correct."

"But that's ..." You count the years in disbelief. "That's a long time for anyone to spend alone. Even with company as charming as yours, Athena," you add.

"You flatter me," she says. "Winston has ignored my warnings about psychological vulnerability in isolation. Despite my predictions, he has proved surprisingly resilient."

"You tried to get him to go outside and make friends, eh?"

"Emphasis on tried."

You arrive at the door to Winston's laboratory. "I guess it's good he has Overwatch again."

Fareeha Amari received a commendation for preventing the Anubis outbreak in Egypt."

You enter the laboratory. "Yo, Winston!" you call out. "You in here?"

You see the sparks from an arc welder near the back, and head that way. Winston is wearing a welding mask and working on his satellite, a machine the size of a small car. When he sees you, he stops the welder and flips up his mask. "Hello, Seeker. Settling into things okay?"

"Yeah, I think I'm starting to get the hang of all this. Still room for improvement, but you know. One thing at a time. And hey, we've done four missions, and recruited four agents. More than four, if you count Bastion. And I helped Torbjorn stop a giant robot from killing a city. So yeah, I'm feeling good about this." You look at his machine. "How's the satellite coming along?"

"Almost ready," he says. "By my calculations, I should achieve the launch window coming up in three days."

"Three days, okay. And you said once this is in the sky, we'll have proper global communications?"

"That's right! Not perfect, of course. You need a minimum of three functioning satellites for that, to form a triangle around the Earth. One will give us a great deal of coverage, though. Much more than we have now."

"Okay, great. Keep up the hard work, big guy."

Now might be a good time to ask Winston about ...

What is with this obsessive need to date every woman in this game?

Can't it just be as simple as we were in Egypt on a job, ran into Pharah before everything went down, befriended her not knowing who she was, and then realizing she was on the other side during the actual mission.

Something slipped, she realized who WE were, felt betrayed and then kicked our ass. (Badly)

It meshes with what we said to Athena "We could have been friends."
>>
>>1034790
Because I want to waifu the giant brown woman.
>>
>>1034771
I think it ties our past down a little too much. I mean, it even claims the reason why we started becoming a criminal. Let's leave our history a little more vague.
>>
>>1034790
Because everything is about waifus, anon. EVERYTHING.

You decide not to pry into his past, and the old Overwatch, for now. Stay focused on the future, and the new Overwatch. And movies.

"Where do you think we're going to go from here?" you ask Winston. "I mean, once we get the satellite launched, and we recruit as many agents as we can. What then?"

"We carry out our original mission," says Winston. "Protect the people. Fight for freedom, justice, and peace throughout the world. Serve as a symbol of hope for everyone."

But it's more complicated than that, you want to say. Does peace just mean protecting the status quo, where mega-corps exploit the people? How can you find justice in a world where the law is corrupt? How do you give people freedom without it turning into chaos?

In the end, you say, "Whatever happens, we can do our best to protect people, and give them hope." That much you agree with. "Giant Omnics, megacorps, AI, Talon, , whatever -- bring 'em on!"

"That's the spirit, recruit," says Winston. Right. With Athena and the strike teams taking orders from you, you're starting to forget you're still technically a recruit.

"Anyway," you say. "I had this idea for a movie night tonight. Get everybody together in one of the unused rooms, watch a movie together. We've been working hard, we could use an evening to relax and do a team bonding thing."

"Hmm. I'd say that sounds ... excellent!"

"Good to hear," you say. "I recently got a download of the latest from Hollywood. Let's take a look and pick one of these."

I like waifus too, but not at the expense of consistency or good storytelling.

We befriended her before knowing who she was, we butted heads since we were on opposite sides of the law, we both felt betrayed at the loss of a friend.

It makes a lot more sense, and it explains out almost petulant and bitter attitude towards her.

We wouldn't have said "We could have been friends" to Athena if we were fucking dating for two years.

"This one looks perfect," you say. ""They Came From Beyond the Moon." Latest movie by Hal-fred Glitchbot. Some old-school science fiction. Look at these aliens," you say, showing Winston the cover on your screen.

The gorilla adjusts his glasses. "I believe the physics of that craft are -- right. Not the point. Yes."

"In a way, that IS the point," you say. "It's supposed to be stupid. At least, I think it is. You can never tell with Glitchbot. His movies are brilliant, but it feels like he didn't make them that way on purpose, like it was all a big accident. Anyway, I think we'll get a good laugh out of this one. I'm going to set up the movie theater in one of those unused storage rooms out by the launch pad. Might as well get started on that now."

"Okay," says Winston. "Thanks for putting this together. I think it's a really good idea for everyone to, you know. Hang out." He coughs. You can tell this is important to him, but he's trying not to show it too much. "Okay, looking forward to it. See you later."

"See ya, big guy."

Later that day ...

As the sun sets, everyone finishes their business for the day, and gathers in the storage room between the Aurora's hangar and the cliff by the launchpad. Torbjorn is still disabled, but the others are all here: Winston, Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt, Brigitte, and McCree.

"Orright everyone," says Tracer. She seems nervous, talking to everyone. "This is the first time we've had so many of us in one place since ... well, you know. The bad days. But that's all in the past. We're here now, together. And I think we all agree, before we get too much into beatin' up baddies, we should take some time to have fun. Our first recruit in ages, my new pal Seeker, has the latest hot release from Hollywood for us to watch, so let's relax and enjoy ourselves!"

There's a murmur of agreement from everybody. "Engaging entertainment mode," says Athena, dimming the light and activating the projector. The screen appears on the wall, and everyone starts to take a seat.

P: I'd rather follow a Seeker that can't talk

For someone used to exploiting a split-second window to dodge between automated force fields that could slice your arm off, sliding into the perfect seat between Mercy and Tracer is no problem. "Hey guys," you say casually. "Looking forward to the movie?"

"Sure am," says Tracer. "When I sawr the aliens on the cover I said, that has to be Glitchbot, and no mistake. He's the best, am I right?"

"He totally is," you say.

"I don't know much about this whole science fiction thing," says Mercy, a woman who frequently wears a flying angel suit and shoots a healing beam of light into her friends. "But you say it's a comedy?"

"Right," you say. "Sort of. It's going to be funny, whether or not it was intended to be funny. Does that make sense?"

"Er ... not entirely, but I'll try to pick it up as I go."

"Just relax and have fun," you say, as the opening credits begin to roll. "The movie's not really important. We're just here to hang out and enjoy each other's company."

Mercy smiles at you. "Thanks. I'm sure I will."

Tracer holds out a bag of popcorn. "Wan' some?" she asks, her mouth full.

"Yes," you say. "Yes I do. Thank you."

Yes. This is the life. Enjoying a hard-earned day off from fighting for justice and taking it to the man. Sitting between two beautiful women, eating popcorn, about to enjoy a good movie. Everything is perfect.

The lights in the room go out, and the movie projector. And, you realize as you look outside, maybe all the lights on the base.

"Athena?" you say. "Talk to me, girl--"

Emergency lighting kicks in as a backup generator somewhere comes to life. An alarm begins to ring out. Everyone's data pads and comm links begin to flash red.

"Red alert," says Athena. "Enemy incursion. Level two."

"Son of a bitch," you say. "Why can't we just have nice things?" You stand up and reach for your weapon. "Why can't we just--"

The twilight sky is lit up by an explosion.

Mercy and Reinhardt aren't, but the medical bay with Mercy's gear is close by.

Tracer, Winston, and McCree are ready to go because they just wear their clothes into battle. You're ready to go too, because you haven't got around to buying or fabricating any civilian clothes for yourself. Also, a certain robot.

So Mercy can gear up but will be delayed, Reinhardt should either hide or be escorted to his armor or just punch things.

>Tracer [is] ready to go because they just wear their clothes into battle.
A fighter pilot jumpsuit, harness and all, counts as civvies?
>>
>>1035032
Well, she has to wear her chrono-thingy all the time or she starts jumping in and out of time and that's the important piece of her gear.
>>
>>1035079
Chrono-harness aside, I mean.
>>
>>1035079
no she does not. Winston uses some kind of device to anchor her in places where wearing the harness day and night would be uncomfortable. Her apartment and his laboratory are the two places equipped for that. The two we know of, at least.
>>
>>1035089
Correct. Tracer has a specially built home that Winston set up for her that basically has the chrono-anchor technology set up all throughout, so she doesn't need to wear her harness 24/7 and can live comfortably and hygenically. And when she's out and about, word of God from Blizzard says that as long as she's vaguely within proximity of her anchor harness, she's fine.

The only viable waifu rn is Tracer, and then maybe Mercy. We didn't need to date Pharah and all that shit, it's just extra

Also why is Mercy getting all the love i dont understand
>>
>>1035863
I in favor of having had a run in where Pharah kicked our ass in the past. Maybe where we were even friends with her before realizing we were both on opposite sides of the law.

It would explain the falling out and it fleshes in the characters a bit.
>>
>>1035885
Exactly, maybe we were working together on the same side of the law but for different motivations, then one of us betrays the other and BOOM! A good story.
>>
>>1035863

>>
>>1035900
idk, I just feel her personality is flat af

and i agree with your agreeance
>>
>>1035863
People wanna vicariously fuck the female cast, man. Whenever there's a moderately attractive female introduced in a quest, players wanna talk about about romance routes. It's pretty common for heroes to have a romantic interest involved in their stories, isn't it? I can't blame them for wanting to hear a story about a badass mercenary who also gets with [INSERT POPULAR WAIFU], but the constant discussion of it does have a chance to distract from the main idea of the quest; being an MC who does the thing.

As for Mercy, what she has going for her is:
>pretty attractive
>extraordinarily kind and caring
>has an accent
>has extensive opportunities for private personal contact with the MC
>very concerned for the safety and well being of the MC
>"I have some "swelling" I need checked out..."
That's about what I feel makes Mercy the go-to choice for some anons.
>>
>>1035920
Well she did have that whole conflict with the Original OW team about the advancement of her medical tech, she's also openly against the type of fighting she's known for being a part of.
As is the case with a lot of characters, she just needs to be fleshed out a bit more.
>>
>>1035924
Well my annoyance is not that there's discussion of romance, that's fine, but that we have to get with every single fuckin woman on the face of the Earth.

I just wish people picked shit that would make sense and would make for interesting stories, not just because the character is sexy.

But maybe im just cynical twat so idk
>>
Take it to the Discord sever
>>
>>1035944
No, I think you're justified in being frustrated at something like that. The players should try and make choices that fit with the character. It's just good role-playing and it makes for good stories.
Sadly it seems that a lot of anons seem to focus solely on getting with their waifu in text format, not whether or not it actually adds anything to the story.
>>
I just want to take things in stride as they come.
Not make up relationships well in advance of meeting people like the people that want to bully and tease d.va or have a past with pharah.
Just seems artificial and forced if people do it that way.
>>
>>1035999
I agree with this, however a person can still have some hopes
>>
>>1035999
We did have a past with Pharah though
>>
>>1036065
What exactly it is, is a rather heated topic for debate
>>
>>1036068
We could just make the choice when that info comes up. Like say one of our team-mates asks how know her and then we explain from there.
>>
>>1035944
And I just wish you wouldn't try to call it this early. Your "only viable waifu" bullshit really needs to stop. I would gladly take a developed relationship over a forced one, but people like you keep pushing to shut down any attempts to get to know the other options. Also, don't pretend that a majority of the anons wouldn't have bent their respective waifus over the second we met them if given the chance. So, do you mind letting us talk to other waifus, and try to get to know them? Or does that not "make sense" for Seeker?
>>
Just put it down as "It's Complicated," you twats.
