Ogres of the Swamp, the strongest and proudest family on the plains

The Evil Host is marching back with the ogres to Ogrestown. They'll be taking their supply of troops, their "evil" mountain ogres and then fuck off until next year. At least that's what everyone expects.

Satisfied with his additions to average life, Dong-Key continues his research into healing. He prays and offers his lust often and tries healing various wounds with different styles of juice. Unwittingly, he helps cause infections! JUICE INFECTIONS DISCOVERED.

With the growing population, Dong-Key has a number of apprentices whom can be set to working continuously on research items, leaving Dong-Key open to pursue other research.

Taking an interest in the shiny and colorful rocks slowly making their way south, Dong-Key claims whatever he can find and begins a stash buried near Zonir’s altar.

NORTHERN EXCURSION:

Population continues to grow from migration

Several ogres have deemed themselves dignitaries and have begun spending much high-class time with the honking, elder walrus

Shells, colorful and shiny rocks, bones etc. continue being gifted to the ogre town. Fishing is going well, especially with the new supply of functional juice nets.

Some ogres try to imitate the human boats with rock bowls. Much to their chagrin, the bowls do not float very well. Others notice that the humans used wood AND IT FLOATS! Some begin travelling north to collect more wood.

It will take 1 more turns of marching to arrive back.

Marching is long and hard work, causing many of the creatures to let their guard down. Some, at the request of Zreck and others via some kind of weird ogre hivemind, have begun going out of their way to show the evil host Plains’ ogre hospitality!

They break meat with the trolls, orgy and chitty chat with the mountain trolls and perform mischief with the goblins!

The two camps begin to mingle whilst marching together, making it harder for an outsider to notice the difference between the two armies. In fact, any human or gnoll scouts would assume they are one and the same. The mountain ogres spend very little time with their original group.

FIGHTING BONUS: Your army ogres are actually trained better than normal ogres now. Tactics and such have been introduced to Zreck and the “leaders” of the ogres. They will now be more open to suggestions of advanced tactics. They may not choose to use them in the heat of the moment as they are kind of green. Discipline is being introduced at well, but isn’t sticking well.

All the wagons had more or less been moved out of town, but a few small ones had been salvaged. The ogres notice it’s easier to move shit on them. Some begin dragging tables laden with shit via juice rope tethers to several ogres. WHEEL DISCOVERED

Some of the injured die, some of them heal. The bodies are carried.

CULTURE: Due to everyones’ newest and most favoritest game, juice lassoes have begun being made in higher numbers. Many have begun simply carrying them everywhere

FARMING:The farm continues to spread, the ogres have begun to construct their own farm outside of the town. This one will be free from human help as it would be too easy to escape.

BREAKTHROUGH: A human mentions that oxen can be used to help with farming. Ox-pulled human plow gained. Ogres are strong enough to use plows. - ogre plow construction set to ongoing

DIVISION OF LABOR: Due to the splitting of the labor fields, the societal structure is switching to fewer experienced workers as opposed to many jack-of-all trades. Boost to various jobs.

TEMPLE AND MANOR CONSTRUCTION: Due to the breakthrough of square rocks and division of labor, tall walls have begun forming. There is still trouble getting the rocks to stick together at great heights. -research - ongoing (2 turns til breakthrough)

Patrols are set up around the camp, DIVISION OF LABOR: Although you don’t have enough warhammers to arm everyone, if the ogres share the weapons, they can arm an entire patrol or two. Unfortunately, these aren’t “army” ogres as all the “army” ogres left.

CULTURE: Ogres with fancier hats have taken it upon themselves to collect shiny rocks. Some colors of rocks are more sought after than others. MONETARY GREED DISCOVERED

With the discovery of Infections, Dong-Key starts to wonder what he did wrong. He realizes something whilst meditating. Water is a juice too! He rubs the pure juice on wounds to see the result. INFECTION CONTROL DISCOVERED. He wonders what may happen with juice application now after.

ZONIR’S BLESSING: Ogre fun juice is now a drug and slightly addictive. The drug effect still works on ogres, but they don’t get addicted. Happiness increases, slaves begin to enjoy their role more.

Diplomacy seems to be going well, the elder walrus is honkier than ever. A wave of walrusi arrive, bolstering their numbers

Using what wood they have and their supply of fish glue, tests on boats have become. Apparently, boat shaped works the best.

Wood extraction: The lumberjacks have arrived and have begun collecting wood to bring back. More ogres are sent north
