New players are always welcome!

In this quest you assume the role of an aspiring student who is about to enter the Mageknight Academy of Madrid. You must hone your skills, make some friends (and perhaps also some enemies) and fight battles in order to prove yourself worthy of graduating as a fully fledged Mageknight! Each year (every 100th turn) your character will be tested by the academy to see if your character is progressing well and meeting the Academy's high standards. After the 3rd year your character will head off into a their first mission for a final test.

How to Join:
New players must fill out their character sheets. The sheet must include the following information:
>Anyone can join at any time. Latecomers and laggers are given bonus action points to catch up with the other players.
1) Your character's full name
2) Your character's backstory, appearance and any other useful information.
3) You are given 3 Skill Points. Choose 1 starting spell and 2 other skills or spells.

How to Play:
1) Each turn you will be given 2 [Action Points]. Post your character sheet and your chosen actions along with a 2d100 roll.
>Normally your roll must pass the [Difficulty Challenge] of 25 in order to succeed.
>Getting a 10 and below is a [Critical Failure] while 91 and above is a [Critical Success]
2) All players must wait for the "TURN GO" post before submitting any actions posts. After which you must post your actions only to that post.
3) After all actions are processed and a new turn begins, update your character sheet.
>>
>>1277016
Acquiring and Improving Spells & Skills:
1) Study, research, explore, train or take classes to discover and learn new spells.
2) Training an already learned spell or skill will raise it further to the next tier once enough [Progress Points] are accumulated.
4) The progress threshold is based on the Fibonacci sequence (1,2,3,5,8,...)
>Usually Spell and Skill tiers are named as Basic => Intermediate => Advanced => Expert => Master
>Alternatively you can label the tiers as T1, T2, T3 and so on.

Spellcrafting:
Spellcrafting involves fusing spells with various skills, knowledge and even other spells that your character has learned together creating a new spell or skill.
>The name of the resulting new spell will be determined by the QM. By default it will be "Cast A B C..."
>Your dice roll will affect the result of the spellcrafting. Lower rolls will result in weaker or negative version of the intended spell and vice versa.

Social Interactions:
1) Role playing with other players is a free action. Role playing with NPCs, however, will cost an action point to do so.
2) Collaborative Player-to-Player actions like trading, tutoring and PvP, will cost an action point to do so.

Combat:
1) Post 2 actions like you normally would. Your opponent will roll their own 2 actions.
2) To defeat your opponent, you must overcome their defensive or evasion roll and vice versa
>If you have not rolled an evasion or defensive roll then your opponent must pass normal DC to hit you and vice versa.
>If both combatants attacked successfully then it's a Double KO.
>If both combatants defended successfully then it's a Stalemate.

You go to class and you learn the techniques used. The professor goes on how “Spatial theory has mainly been used for portals and strategy in the past but what people have forgotten are the other ways and applications of spatial magic. It all comes to the basic foundation that ‘You’re only limit is your own mind’ wherein magic’s limit is your imagination, but now’ I’m getting too far from the topic. Let me discuss about…”

You gather some books in the library. You put books around you that are related to your addiction. There aren’t much books on your specific problem but there are books on addiction and ways to deal with it. There was all this info on looking in the spiritual side. There was talk about looking within to rid yourself of ‘bad ki’. There was this one book that seemed to peak your interest though. It is a book by some famous psychologist. ‘Flights From Burden Of Selfhood’, it was called and it was filled with info on direct detail on what could be the causes and effects of these problems. There was also a dedicated chapter to masochism and sadism, it comes to detail on how this is not a mental illness or a chemical imbalance but a psychological trauma. You continue to read and learn that it still follows the idea of the earlier books. The best way to deal with these strange thoughts was to take a seat and talk to people. This was the best way to deal with the in removing the bad aura around you.
>Blessed with [Letting It Out], When talking with people about how you feel, you will have a +10 to rolls. This can help you in talking and healing your past trauma.
>[Letting it Out] can be used 3 times, It’s easy to let it out at first but as you talk about deeper things, it gets more difficult to talk..

One class isn’t enough so you attend mana theory class. Overall it was a very informative class the female teacher was tells the class how mana is the basis and it creates most things in this world. Not everyone knows have many mana and know how to control it. You stand on the school’s roofs and cross reference the place using several maps. Eventually, you find what you think is a lot of magical energy. Only one way to find out. You enter the school tunnels and walk through the dark halls. In the distance, you can hear moans and groans of some sort. Continuing on the path, you eventually come across a large pipe. You can feel a lot of mana flowing through this pipe, but it feels… strange. When you put your hand on it, you feel hot and flushed. What is this stuff? It’s definitely mana, but why does it make you feel this way? You decide to retreat for now, and come back later.

You took the Fancy Prosthetic Arm and started working on it. You realize that this arm you and William made is all looks but has poor functionality. It’s pretty stiff and rickety. Today that changes. You rewire the cables and replaced the joints with more fitting ones. You then replaced the internal mechanisms with a more efficient configuration. After you did all of those you screwed the panels back on again and… there. All done. You tested it out by detaching one of your prosthetics and replacing it with this one. Yes, this will do nicely. You wriggle the fingers around and pivoted the wrists. The mana now flows efficiently. It’s now almost as dexterous as a regular hand. Though it’s relatively less durable than your primary prosthetics though. Perhaps you’ll be wearing this on special occasions like parties for instance.
>[Fancy Prosthetic Arm] now provides +2 on social rolls when equipped.

You search for the pages. You found the book in the library, so that would be the logical place to begin. You file through reams and stacks of ancient tomes. Suddenly, you feel a surge of magic swell in your chest. There’s a snap, and you’re mortified to find that your bra has snapped under the weight of your enormous breasts. Oh god. You go for the regular morning jog. Slowly, you put the jogging time and with a new day rising, you feel more energized. You can feel your heart pumping and though filled with sweat, you know that you start to last longer. The usual people even start to greet you. You see the students and teachers arriving into campus as they all wave and nod. This continues for the next few days and you start to learn about the arrival times of everyone. You go to the library, intending to work on your summoning theory. However, when you ask Athena for books related to the subject, you find out that most of them were borrowed. Seems like there’s a lot of eager summoners in this academy. The golem still manages to find some books that could interest you. You read more about the specifics of summoning rituals. It seems like entities become easier to summon with a catalyst working as bait. Elementals are attracted to places connected with their element, angels enjoy virtue, demons are attracted to sin, spirits are drawn to mementos of their past lives, and so on, and so forth.

Using the spoons of sweetness and saltiness, you prepare your famous apple pie with cheddar crust. Once it’s ready, you wrap it up, and go meet up with the captain at the place you agreed upon earlier. On the way, you notice a lot of passerbys seem entranced by the heavenly smell of the dessert you carry.

You find captain Dema waiting for you inside a little cafe near the Academy. She gives you a nod of acknowledgement once she notices you. She smiles as you sit down in front of her. “If it isn’t Devin Hines. Were the presents well received ?” Instead of the armor she was wearing at the beach, today, she’s wearing casual clothes, a sweater, and jeans. You tell her about the reactions of your girlfriends, and Nina to the gifts, and the captain laughs. “I’m glad.” You show her the pie you baked, causing her to quirk her eyebrows. “Cheese ? On an apple pie ? Are you sure about that ?” You convince her that you know what you’re doing, and ask a waitress for two plates, and two pastry forks. Dema also asks for a black coffee. You give her a slice, and, with a wary look, she takes a bite out of it. You can see her expression change as the taste fills her mouth. “This is actually great ! You should open a restaurant !” She realizes her outburst, and blushes a little, covering her mouth. “A-anyway, any reason you wanted to see me ?” You take the dagger out of your pocket, and ask about it. “Oh, yeah, I heard you liked artifacts, and this looked like it would fit the bill. It’s a pretty old weapon, even if it might not look like it. It’s enchanted to stay sharp, never rust, self-clean. I think it belonged to a noble, but I don’t really know that much, sadly. Ho man you’ve been really out of it with the dreams and visions you’ve been having lately. You guess you should go see Kevin again. On your way to see him you think about how useless he’s been so far, not to mention how he just hands you drugs out of nowhere. Your not gonna take some pills just like that, you’re fine and you know it. You step into his office and sit down in the nice comfy chair. A moment later Kevin walks in and sits down across from you. He seems off today… well maybe he’s been working long hours. “Well miss Stoneworth how have you been doing these past few days?” You tell him about the recent visions and nightmares you’ve been having. “Well it seems you have gotten even worse, have you been taking those pills I gave you on our last visit?” You tell him that you haven’t and that maybe drugs would make things even worse. When Kevin hears that you haven’t been taking the pills you notice his left eye starts twitching. “Oh nonsense, I’m a doctor I know what’s good for you, so why don't you take some of those pills right now, you’ll immediately feel better.” He says with a forced grin. Ok something’s up. You refuse to take the pills and ask if he’s ok. “I am fine, actually I am more worried about you so take the damn pills already.” Ok fuck this. You stand up and tell Kevin he’s freaking you out and turn to leave. Suddenly your body is paralyzed. You can’t move. “You brat, do you know how long I have been preparing you? Ever since the hot springs i’ve had to act ‘NICE’ to you. After weeks of weakening your mind you decide not to listen to me any more. Hehehehehe you’re not going anywhere. The great being Nyarlathotep has contacted me to prepare your body as a vessel for his glorious use. I am promised peace with unity for completing his task. Now offer yourself to the great one!” He then forces open your mouth and dumps a bunch of pills down your throat. You stand there helpless because he has cast some sort of paralysis spell on you. Soon the room becomes blurry and your eyes slowly close. You are now standing in a dark cold room. In front of you is a strange form of flesh. You walk to it slowly to get a better look. “Approach my child” said the scream of 100 different whispering voices. Coming closer you see a horrid amalgamation of flesh and tentacles. This is Nyarlathotep. He looks a bit different this time. “My child your body shall be used as the key to unlock my true form. After much thought we shall grant you mercy for the betrayal you have committed against us. You we’re foolish enough to think we would be defeated so easily. We transcend beyond the bonds of matter. You can never truly defeat us. Child we offer you the chance to join in Unity and experience the pleasure of being one with the flesh. Refuse and your soul shall be destroyed. So what shall it be? You ask Valerie for a drink at the bar again. Valerie asked you if you are sure about this and what happened last time. You reassured her that you will be fine and that you were practicing self defense martial arts since. Valerie conceded and went on your way to the bar. This time Valerie seemed more alert than before as the two of you walked together. Finally you and her arrived at the bar. You sat at the bar stool and ordered a drink. This time you ordered a lighter drink to prevent yourself from getting too drunk. You talked to her and the Frederico about a lot of topics. Mostly about your recent adventures and school life. Valeria tells her stories about her life as a band member of a rock band. She told you about her band mates. There were four of them; Travis the drummer, Penny the bassist and finally the Xander the vocalist. She tells you that she occasionally do backup vocals. She then paused and remembered their fifth bandmate; Trinity. She was the band’s DJ and special effects specialist. She uses her magic along with conventional special effects to enhance their performances. Despite all this she admits that they’re still just a locally known band. Frederico tells his story as a young lad. He was once a student of the academy but he eventually dropped out. He says that he realizes during his stay there that being a magical soldier was not his true calling. You asked him why he dropped out but he was evasive on the topic so you dropped the subject. You then told your story. You tell them of the peaceful mountain village from where you were born. The lovely cobblestone filled roads were complimented by totems and wood carvings of draconic deities and ancient local heroes of the past placed along the roads and forks of the village. You tell them that your grandparents used to tell fantastical tales of ancient heroes and their mystical dragon companions.

You wonder if there is some truth behind those tales or were they simply embellished stories made to inspire future generations. You then showed them your bracelet. It’s a silver bracelet with traditional patterns and markings of your people and your clan. You said your father gave these to you as a birthday gift during your 13th birthday. Valerie, curious, held one of her wrist shackles and compared it to yours. The markings were written in a different font and style but they still closely resemble one another. Her faces fills with expressions of bewilderment upon the revelation. You asked her what the problem is. She shook her head and said it was nothing. Merely a coincidence. She tells you that her father, the nobleman who lives by the residential district, also gave her her shackles during her 13th birthday. She says that you and her shouldn’t be talking about this for now as you all came her to relax and have fun. Valerie stood up and invited you in a game of billiards. You obliged and the two of you played. She was pretty good at it. Valerie then said that you were not too bad yourself for a newbie. Afterwards you and her exited the bar and head back to the dorm. Valerie led you to an alternative route home. Finally you and Valerie arrived back at the dorm without a hitch this time. As both of you went to bed Varelie groggily told you to not take off your family bracelet. You asked her what that is but it seems that Valerie has fallen asleep.

You asked Valerie to go exploring with her. She agrees, stating that this should be fun and that she does not have anything scheduled today. You led her to the pond and saw that the plant women are up and about, doing their usual routine. Valerie commented that they look like trouble. As both of you snuck in to take a closer look, you accidentally stepped on a twig, alerting the plant women of your location. A few of them went to investigate. As they scour the trees for the source of the disturbance, you saw Valerie transforming one of her hands into dragon talons. Distracted by this you didn’t notice that one of them came up from behind found you. “Ah, there you are.” You looked to your right and saw the plant womans face in mid-transformation. It’s visage formed into that of your mother’s “I knew you would come back to us, my dear sweet daughter.” then another one emerged from the other side and took the form of Valerie. “C’mon, Draggy… Let’s have some fun.” Plant Valerie then sprouted giant leaves shaped like Valerie’s wings. The two plant women then grabbed both of your arms and started dragging you towards the pond. You struggle from their grasp but you can’t break free. Their hands and fingers grow and stretch out into sturdy vines, wrapping around your arms even more. “Oh, hush now, deary. We won’t hurt you. I’m your mother remember? I love you. We love you. Right, Valerie?” says the plant woman who looks like your mother. “Yeah. Just relax, Draggy. You’ll like it. Trust me.” said the floral imitation of Valerie with a friendly smile. The plant child who looked like a younger version of you appeared and jumped on top of you, wrapping your legs with vines. “Yeah! It will be so much fun. We’ll play together... forever and ever and ever!” she then hugged you tightly and licked your cheeks with an innocent looking smile on her face. Suddenly you hear a furious roar from the distance. It’s hands and feet are filled with intimidating flaming talons. The entirety of it’s arms and legs are covered in hard crimson scales. The closer it got, the more you realize who this is. It’s Valerie! “GET YER FILTHY MOTHERFUCKING VINES OFF OF ABBY YA FUCKING POSERS!” She then released a large ball of fire from her mouth and set the false Valerie aflame, reducing her to a charred remain. Then Valerie’s back exploded in flames revealing large crimson wings sprouting from her back. She then flew upwards into the air and dive kicked the false mother with her talons, smashing her head and upper torso into mush. The small plant child hissed and lunged at Valerie, only to be back handed by her so hard that she flew a few yards away. She then crawled back into the wilderness. Valerie then transformed one of her claws back into hands and reach out to you “C’mon kid let’s get outta here before-” A horde of plant women emerges from deep within the wilderness surrounding the both of you. “-more of them show up...” Some of them then noticed Valerie and they began to morph. One of them formed into a freckled girl with twin braided pigtails. “Penny?” Valerie said in confusion. “H-Hey there, Vally. You look exhausted. Why don’t you rest for a while on my lap? I-I won’t mind.” She then fidgets about and looks at Valerie shyly like a schoolgirl with a crush. Then another stepped forwards and turned into a short haired girl. Small vines then formed in front of her eyes forming an imitation of a pair of glasses. Then a number of wide leaves sprouted from her head forming into a leaf hat. “Trinity!?” Valerie said in a surprised voice. “The one and only, baby!” the false Trinity then adjusts her vine eyeglasses with pride. Then another showed up and attempted to morph but then it began to convulse violently expanding in size and proportion and growing enormous leaf wings, branch horns, sharp teeth and a large leafy tail. When the transformation finally completes the plant woman has transformed into a large misshapen humanoid monster. You can see that it is overstretching itself to its very limits. It seems to be trying to imitate someone Valerie knows but it can’t. “Mom...” Valerie said in a sorrowful tone.

And I really think before you try to improve your skill against multiple opponents, you should learn to take care of one. Your technique iz sloppy.”

You lose your cool, and tell him that you’ll show him. He raises his eyebrows, then starts to clap his hands, laughing. “Honhonhon, very good, let our blades do ze talking ! I like zat ! Let us have an honorable duel !” He takes a small book out of his pocket, and looks through the pages. “I am a pretty busy man. How about we have zis duel in two weeks ? At dawn ? I’ll see you zere zen !” He then leaves, surrounded by his fanclub. You can hear his annoying laugh echoing for a long time after he leaves. You’re going to make him eat his words.

You visit the Chemistry class. Like all the other more traditional courses, there’s only a few students attending at any time. The teacher, a man in a lab coat, looks like he has a few screws loose. He welcomes you warmly, and shows you a seat. “Very well, students ! Today, we’re going to learn about napalm !” The teacher then explains how to make napalm easily, why it’s better than pure gasoline, and how to forge yourself an alibi once you decide to use your napalm on something. Or someone. Just don’t forget to buy your supplies with cash, not a credit card.

You attempt to improve your Illusory Battlefield, adding antipersonal mines to the mix. You spend your time working on the explosion. Your mines won’t deal any damage, as they’re just illusion, but the explosion looks and sounds real enough to make anyone flinch.

You return to the Chemistry class. The teacher waves at you, looking ecstatic. “You returned ! My students usually don’t !” Today, you learn about the history of combat gas. Chlorine gas, mustard gas, sarin, and more. You learn their effects, and even how to make them. The teacher hands you gas masks, then fumigates the whole classroom with a deadly nerve agent. Thankfully, everyone was alert enough to put on the gas masks before. You like this class, you feel like you’re learning a lot here.

You keep working on your Illusory Battlefield. You feel like you’ll be making a breakthrough soon. But you feel pretty tired. A little nap couldn’t hurt, right ? Before you know it, your eyelids close. You’re awakened by someone lightly slapping you. You can hear a voice speaking with a familiar language. You open your eyes, and find yourself face to face with a mustachioed man wearing a pickelhaube. “Arh, mein freund, you are awake ! You can’t sleep here, mein kleine freunde, the enemy could find you !” Wait. The enemy? You look around. The wall in front of you is made of muddy earth, as is the ground. Oh no. You finally realize the horror of the situation. You are trapped in your own battlefield. You try to pinch yourself, but you aren’t waking up. The friendly soldier laughs. “Ja, it zeems like a nightmare at first. You’ll get used to it. Mein name is Hans Gruber, by the way. Pleased to meet a friendly face here.” You ask him about the other soldiers. He sighs. “It’s like they’re just… Gone. You’re the first german I met in several days. I was starting to believe I had finally gone mad. But I’m starting to regain hope. Would you like to join me, mein freund. Together, we might be able to get out of this hell.”

You are really, really frustrated. Just remembering this disgusting neckbeard going through your pockets is enough to make your blood boil. After a while, you reach a conclusion : To feel better about it, you need to beat the shit out of someone. And you know just the ideal victim. You swing by the sports club to pick up an aluminium baseball bat. You swing it a few times. Yes, that will do. Once you’re equipped, you go look for your victim, Dietrich Neunhause, nerd supreme. Just looking at his stupid face makes you want to thwomp him. He’s just so… Bulliable ! You even heard some guys did the ol’ soul splice prank on him. However, you’re just so angry, you end up finding nothing. That was a waste of time.

You aren’t going to give up that easily ! That dumb nerd is going to get the thwomp, and you might even give him a swirlie once you’re done. Then you’ll probably kick his models. Yeah, that’ll teach him what happens to fucking nerds. You end up spending the afternoon imagining all the horrible things you’ll do to him once you get your hands on him, instead of actually looking for him. You end the day even angrier than before, and go to bed, seething with anger. Your dreams are populated with nerds mocking you, and you just can’t catch them. Your knowledge of psychology tells you that it probably has some kind of deep, symbolic meaning.

I would like to join.

>Dania Nanato Garza

I was born in Tijuana, Mexico. Currently I am traveling with my mother. I consider myself an average girl, but skillful in dancing.

My father is a Mexican Inn owner and expert in hand to hand combat and my mother is a Japanese acrobatic dancer and gymnast. I trained with both of my parents and I always try to help them in the Inn. My father used to say that I moved silently like a cat at the Inn corridors.

Three years ago, after an hostile takeover of the country, my family was notified that we should abandon the country. They decided to ignore the warning but after the mysterious dissapearence of my father, my mother decided to flee to Europe.

On the way to Portugal, my mother revealed to me the reason they warned my family. The new government is part of an antiMagic group trying to eradicate the magic in Mexico. And that my Father was the last living member of a rare line of water healers magicians. But she doesn't know if I inherited it.

From her part, she only knows that the Nanato family was blessed by an ancient Japanese dragon that inhabited Mount Haruna; but the rest of the legend was lost.

My mother tried to sign me up at the Mageknight Academy of Madrid; but she suspects that we are being followed so we are now hiding in Amsterdam.

I don't think I'm pretty. Almond eyes, sun kissed skin, and dark short hair. I am fairly skinny and I wish I was taller like my Father. I know I have a birth mark that is shaped like a dragon on my left leg.

>Spells

You attend Spatial Theory Class. Today, you have a general review of the applications of space. As it turns out, despite the lack of… anything in a vacuum or void, there’s still a lot of applications about it. Through the use of magic, parts of space can be folded, allowing for easier access to other places via portals. The dematerialization of an object to appear at another point can be described with the Point A - Void - Point B example. Fascinating stuff.

After requisitioning a set of books from the library, you go and try to create several formulas. The books seem far too complex than what you’re used to, though. It seems that while it shares a similarity with conventional writing, runes and sigils are a whole other beast to contend with. You put the books away for now.

>Class
You attend Mechanical Theory Class. It’s a mostly uninspired lesson of reading through your textbooks and working on a side project as your teacher explains its inner mechanisms. By the end of it, you have all made individual parts of a coffee machine. After fitting them together, you all enjoy a nice Cup of Joe.
>+1 Mechanical Theory

Using your knowledge on circuitry and wiring, as well as several references from the library, you try and create Mana Circuitry. The result? Much better than you had anticipated. By imitating the natural shape of the Ley Lines in the earth, and by removing the impurities and obstacles that natural Ley Lines would have, you’ve created a fairly efficient Mana Circuit. You take notes, and soon, you think you have a spell that might reproduce the effect on more conventional machines.
>+3 Mana Circuitry
>Learned [Mana Overclock]. This spell can be cast on a machine or device with wires or circuits(either conventional or mana). By injecting mana into it, you can boost the device’s efficiency and power directly proportionate to how much mana you pump into the device. This does however, damage the machines. Weaker, older, or lower-quality machines and circuits may break underneath the stress.

You return to the tomb, determined to find the pages. Your back is starting to hurt a lot, and you worry about your spine. You look around for awhile, and finally find what you were looking for. The second missing page. You quickly snatch it, and add it to the book. Soon, you will be free from this madness. You just hope it won’t be too late.
>93
You search for the last page you need to solve your problem. But no matter how hard you look, you just cannot find it. You start to panic, you don’t have much time left, and you know trying to remove this curse is a crapshoot at best. Your panicked thoughts are interrupted by a woman’s voice. “Excuse me, you seem to be looking for something. Wouldn’t that be it ?” You look at her to find a tall, blonde woman, holding a piece of paper. A quick glance at said piece of paper reveals that it’s the missing page you were looking for. With a gasp, you catch it, and thank the woman profusely. She smiles, and waves at you. “I’ll be going then. Good luck with your project.” And with that, she’s gone. Weird, it’s pretty rare to find women as tall as you are. And you even forgot to ask her name. And what was she even doing here in the first place ? No matter, you have a spell to cast. You get to work quickly. You find that the last page is covered with various notes and scrawlings, but they contain surprisingly useful information. With it, you complete the spell, and immediately cast it. Your breasts start deflating, back to their usual size. You sigh, relieved. It feels like someone lifted a weight from your chest, both figuratively and literally.
>You removed the curse
>You also learned the [Total Boob Control] spell. It can be used to alter the size of both your chest and the breasts of other females. It may be used as a normal combat spell, but can also be used as an action to alter your bust size to a specific person’s liking, granting you social bonuses with said person. You must know your target preferred bust size before attempting to change them, and some people simply don’t have a preferred size.

The little furball gives a look, then waddles away. “What can I do for you, Devin ?” You ask her to teach you summoning theory. She seems eager to help you, and starts the lesson immediately. You see why she was the summoning teacher at some point, her explanations are way clearer than any books you find, and since you’re the only student, she’s always ready to explain concepts you don’t understand in more detail. Once she finishes the lesson, she is beaming with joy. You ask her what makes her so happy. “Well, I haven’t taught anyone in months and… I just missed that. Feeling useful, you know. “Yes my Child. Why do you resist? Do you not trust the feelings of the flesh. Our biology yearns to join with yours. We welcome you to our mass. But you puzzle us. Why do you give into your own petty desires? How can you choose selfishness over the splendor of unity. We hear your thoughts, you humans are all biased are you not? You all care about your individually, and not others. You humans haven’t changed. You will never change. Not unless we are of one mind. One. One. One. One being. One. One. One. You ask Hans about himself. He starts talking in his heavily accented voice. “Vell, I vas a customs officer before the war, and I got drafted. Then I got drafted, and one day, as the enemy was shelling our position, I-” He interrupts himself, gives you a worried look. “Shh. Listen. Someone is near. A group.” You peek out of the trench, and see five armed men walking around the wasteland. You recognize the uniform instantly. They’re brits. You dive back down into the trench, and report what you saw to Hans he nods, looking worried, and tells you to stay put. Finally, after an agonizingly long wait, the british soldiers go away. Hans sighs, relieved. “That was close. Let’s be careful from now on, they could be more of them.
>You’re now aware of the [Enemy Patrols]. It seems you aren’t alone on the battlefield. Every turn, a detection dice will be rolled to see if you stumbled upon a patrol. The one patrol you saw looked well-equipped. Better be careful.

>57
You look around the battlefield. It looks like a muddy wasteland, with barbed wire dotting the otherwise barren landscape. You can see trenches similar to the ones you’re in a little farther. It looks like a WW1 battlefield, yet some things are off. You can see some vehicles wrecks at irregulars intervals. You could be wrong, but some of those look like they belong to vehicles that just shouldn’t exist during this time period. The closest one seems to belong to a Tiger tank. Since the brits were here earlier, you deduce that you probably are somewhere on the Western front. You then look at Hans’ equipment. He carries a bolt-action rifle, his entrenching tool, and a gasmask is attached to his belt. He tells you that he doesn’t have much except those. However, he remembers seeing a supply cache somewhere near your position. Maybe here, you’ll be able to find additional equipment. When you ask him about issues, he tells you about the minefields that appeared here recently. He saw an enemy walking on one, and he ended blown to smithereens. Hans encourages you to watch your step.

Kiru gives you a stoic look once you’re done talking. You could swear there’s the faintest blush on her cheeks. I don’t know what drives you, but you’ve got the right stuff to become a real mageknight, one day.” She sighs a little. “Still, we really should stop meeting like this. Symbols. Runes. Sigils. Even though they are man-made, those things hold great power. They are the embodiment of concepts. Some theories say that it is the collective consciousness of humanity that symbols their power. After all, languages work like that, people give a meaning to sounds. You study the different ways symbols are used around the world. The runes used by the celts and the nordic, the kabbalistic sigils used in the creation of magic circles, the paper talismans used in onmyodo, the ancient cuneiform script used during the antiquity, the egyptian hieroglyphs. Some theories even say that at the root of all this, there is something else. The so-called “language of the Gods” used by the magicians of old. However, all of this seems to be wild speculation by linguists with too much time on their hands.

You go and investigate the Fey Gardens. The Fey gardeners nearby bow to you as you pass, and it’s as if the plant life around you seems to bend towards you. You ask a nearby gardener for directions. The Fey gardener tells you to be careful around the “Plant Women” and leaves you to it. You followed the path and eventually it lead you to a still smoking burnt clearing. The trees around this place are so burnt that all of their leaves are burnt away leaving behind a blackened tree husked. They look like large hands reaching out to the sky for help. The forest floor is filled with ash, embers and charcoal along with what seems like charred remains of people scattered all across the area. Based on their facial expressions and body posture, they have all died in pain and agony. Probably from a recent forest fire. Some of them have large claw marks on their bodies. You left the gruesome scene for now to investigate this area further.

As you walked further in you eventually came across another clearing with a pond in the middle. You saw more charred remains floating in the body of water. Moments later several figures emerged from the charred underbrush as you step into the clearing. They begin shifting into several figures that you recognize. One of them changes to appear like Platina, and other changes into Belle. You even spot a few changing into your mother, and into your other female friends such as Agata. While they might look like these people, the leafy-flower motif and burnt body parts gave them away.

“Mmmm… Hello Angelica. Do you want a massage?” The False Platina asks. They seem to be trying to use some sort of Fey magic on your mind, but your experience with both magics of the mind, and magics of the Fey allows you to counteract that fairly easily. When it becomes evident that you aren’t convinced, False Platina sighs. “The Mistress has come.” says the one that looked like your mother with a missing eye. The other plant women understood what she just said and spoked as well “Please forgive our appearances.” says the False Belle with a claw scar on her chest “We aren’t as powerful as we used to be.” says the False Agata with a half burnt face. A group of plant children emerges from the pond and approaches the crowd. One of them stepped forward and took the form of you as a child. “Who is she, mother?” said the False Angelica. “She is... our mistress, child.” says the one armed plant woman. “Is she the mistress, from the stories?” asked the plant girl. “Yes, I’m sure of it. I remember her face... and her voice… It’s somehow seems familiar. I’m not sure when or where but… I feel like we’ve met before, in the past. Yes, she is definitely the mistress.”

When you ask why they are not as powerful as they used to be. They explain that while they were hunting, their prey had fought back and escaped, incinerated several of them and parts of their home in the process with their flaming mouths. You ask who their prey was, and they tell you it was a pair of female students. The other one was described as a large and imposing raging winged crimson demoness of fire and talon and the other one was described as a angelic golden haired lithe girl. You’re a little concerned as to why they’re hunting students as prey, but they assured you that the experience is actually quite... pleasurable for both sides. As she says so she sensually run her hands across her womanly figure and licked her lips. They say that if they had some more energy, they can recover. Judging by that description, you surmise that they feed off lust energies not unlike a succubus. Curious. And the older plant women called you “The Mistress”? Perhaps they somehow already knew who’s in charge here. Though it’s also peculiar that the young ones don’t know of you at all.

You go look for a source of mana that you can use to power up your Impling. You’re unable to find anything exceptional, so you go and purchase some generic mana batteries. They’re standard-issue, provided by the school workshop. Of course, they’re expected to be returned in perfect condition. Easy enough. You borrow one, and head back to your dorm. You try feeding some of the magical energy to your Impling, but it refuses to accept it. You wondered why, but figured that it must be hungry. You start preparing some meat for it, but accidentally cut your finger. Maybe you should’ve taken Devin’s offer on Cooking lessons. You wash the cut under a running tap, and flecks of blood fly everywhere. Hm. It looks like it’s deeper than you thought. Suddenly, you hear the sounds of some sort of mechanism activating, and a piercing pain as rods of stone are driven into the back of your head. You scream in pain, and collapse to the ground as your vision goes dark.

When you come to, it’s nighttime, and you feel… hungry. You tug on your mask and find that it isn’t stuck to your faceless visage anymore. You rub your smooth head with your hands, and find that not much has changed. You feel the hunger within you deepen, and you’re desperate. You ravenously consume the raw, bloody meat you were preparing, and feel… sated. You briefly wonder if it was the meat that filled you up, but for some reason, you know that it was actually from the blood. You look down at your finger and find that there’s no trace of a cut. This is all too strange. You decide to investigate the Stone Mask some more, to find that the webpage you purchased it from is gone. Having been unable to find the source of the Stone Mask, you decide to instead study the mask itself in detail. You see fangs jut from the lips, and briefly speculate that you’ve become a vampire of some sort. You decide to test your theory. By running outside, you find that you are stronger, move quicker, and jump higher. You can see in the dark as if it were lit, and seem to have a natural charisma about you. You return to your dorm by sunrise. If your theory is correct, you do not want to be caught outside when the sun comes up.

Feeding directly off of living animals and humans will sate you for 3 and 6 turns respectively. Take heed that hunting is dangerous and might attract the eyes of the Holy Order or other vampire hunting organizations and groups. [Sated] is stackable.
>[Vampiric Blood Lust] sucking the blood from your human prey until they die grants you an additional +1 to your strength, speed and stamina for 1 turn.
>[The Beast] Losing your [Sated] state will cause you to become increasingly berserk, granting you +5 to offensive physical attacks and -5 to defensive rolls while it is in effect. Roll and pass 30 DC or else your actions will be used to hunting nearby blood prey indiscriminately. DC increases 5 each turn the more you ignore your hunger.
>[Torpor] fall into a comatose state once your [The Beast] DC reaches 100. You may only escape this state once someone else drops a pint of blood on you.
>[Irresistable Charisma] +10 on all Social Rolls. Standing near reflective surfaces (like a mirror, shiny metal or a clear body of water) reverses this effect (-10). (Note that only your body doesn’t have a reflection. You clothes still has one.)

>[Blood Mana] Casting spells now costs blood instead of mana. Each spell you cast in the main turn will reduce your [Sated] state by 1 turn. In combat casting spells cost 1 times the tier of the spell. Casting while under the effects of [The Beast] will increase the DC by 5

[Arthur Belrose]
>99 = Crit
You visit the Library, and grab a large stack of History books. Exams are around the corner, and you want to be better prepared. You sit in silence as you burn through each book. There sure is a lot of conflict in these books. One would think that human history is measured by which wars and battles events occurred during and between. But not all is bad, certainly there were good moments. Times of great progress and restoration. New meetings between cultures, some which ended well, others… not so well. You fail to notice how much time passes until the Librarian taps you on the shoulder letting you know how late it is. Broken from your reading, you suddenly realize how dark it is, and how tired you are. Thanking her, you place the books in the return bin, and head to sleep.
>+4 History

>79
You return the next day, intent to further your knowledge of History. You check out some of the books you didn’t get to yesterday, and resume your reading. The Library is nice and quiet, as the librarian runs a tight ship, so it makes focusing easy. Time passes as you learn more about the various important points in History which affected the world, or was at least notable enough to garner global attention. This time you manage to keep track of time enough to realize you’re getting tired, return your books, and go to bed.

You get acquainted a little better with your longsword. You already know it well, after all, it’s been your faithful weapon for a while now. But wielding the Ultracrusader greatsword really made you realize how different two swords can be. You really appreciate the balance of your superb longsword now that you have something to compare it with. You end up training with your dear sword all afternoon.

Tactics. Your old nemesis. You remember your burnout from before the exams. But this time, you feel ready ! You’ll force yourself, you’ll live tactics, breathe tactics, drink tactics, and shit tactics ! You end up reading through the Art of War, and discover that it’s pretty good. Filled with good advice, even though a lot of it is common sense. You still feel like you learned something.

You concentrate on your fear of demons. To vanquish it, you try to remember its roots. You remember, the event that caused was the sight of this roof, of the Devil King. The corpses impaled on spikes of demonic energy, the wicked appearance of the king. That terrified you. But you really shouldn’t be afraid. People die all the time. Your father died. His squadmates died. You can’t be afraid of a demon because it killed people. If you want to protect people like your parents, you need to be brave. When you open your eyes, you feel better. The dread that filled your heart is gone, and you feel renewed determination.
>Daemonophobia removed

>68
You study Summoning. The early chapters are filled with all the risks involved, such as summoning monsters that will kill you on sight, and that you should never try summoning anything you aren’t prepared to defend yourself against.
>+1 Summoning Theory

>58
You continue your Summoning studies. After getting through all the chapters telling you all the mistakes you can make to get yourself killed, these chapters tell you all the ways you can get your magic sealed or even thrown in jail. Mostly about how you’re responsible for everything you summon. If it gets loose and hurts someone, or worse, it’s your fault. It reiterates if you can’t control what you summon, don’t summon it.
>+1 Summoning Theory

>56
You barely put the book down before you pick it up again. With the doom and gloom bits done, the book finally gets into actual summoning… in that you should try and have protection in place before summoning, such as binding wards. These don’t guarantee you safety, but they’re better than nothing. Like a condom.
>+1 Summoning Theory

>61
You train your Fireball. Cause nothing says “fuck you” like a ball of fire flying at you.
>+1 Fireball

>7
You continue reading your books. Finally, it gets to something interesting. It goes over basic beginner symbols for summoning harmless spirits, which you practice drawing and putting mana into. Which was a mistake. It seems you misdrew on of the symbols as it glows darkly, and what you got wasn’t a harmless spirit. What you see is a strange ring on your finger. Odd. You try pulling it off, but it doesn’t budge. You try everything you can, mundane and magical, but the ring won’t come off. The ring itself looks like simple obsidian ring, devoid of any markings, but also flawlessly smooth. Yet somehow it fills you with a sense of worry.
>Equipped [Ring of the Lonely]
>For 3 Turns, you cannot take social actions or gain Relations
>The rings vanishes when the effect has passed.

You study Fire Theory. Fire magic is one of the most basic schools of magic, but also one of the most inherently destructive. Fire consumes everything in it’s path, and doesn’t differentiate friend from foe, combatant from non combatant. In a sense, fire is fair. It doesn’t judge or treat anyone or anything different, it just devours. The way the flames shift as the fires burn, creating a dance of light and shadows on the surrounding area. It’s beautiful. The warmth is comforting. But perhaps best of all is the smell. It smells like… Victory.
>+3 Fire Theory

>33
You study Summoning Theory. The six cardinal summon types are Spirits, Elementals, Fey, Demons, Celestials, and Eldritch Beings. Of the six, the last three are considered taboo, and the last two are explicitly forbidden to summon under normal conditions. Partially because they are simply too powerful or dangerous to control, but also because it is extremely difficult to contain them through normal binding methods.
>+1 Summoning Theory

>86
You meet with Alexis Jones, the demonology teacher, after a lesson. He became a lot more busy after being promoted as the head of the summoning department, but you still managed to catch him during a break. “Ah, you must be… Onesworth, correct ? The Dawson’s younger son. My brother told me about you.” He smiles. Looking at him, you can almost see an older, saner Faust. “I’d like to thank you. He’s been feeling a little better recently. I think he’s feeling less guilty now that he helped you. He was very close to your parents, you know ? He was even the best man at their wedding.” He sighs, looking saddened. “But look at me, I’m rambling already. It was a pleasure to meet you, young man. You’re welcome in my class anytime.”
>You met [Alexis Jones]
>Acquaintances (1/2) with Alexis Jones achieved

>71
You continue furthering your studies. Summoning is a wonderful and interesting subject, but also very tricky, and considered one of the most dangerous. It’s why Summoners usually require moore preparation for their rituals that others, since the slightest mistake could call forth something utterly terrifying and dangerous. But these are pretty rare, as most mistakes regarding summoning circles usually result in a dry cast, and nothing comes out of it. Not that you should be lax at any time during your studies.
>+1 Summoning

Also, forgot to add the word "Vitality" on the [Blood Mana] section. The sentence was suppose to say "In combat casting spells cost 1 Vitality times the tier of the spell."

“Your words intrigue us child. We can become one being, but can you humans really be trusted? We shall consider your words. For now we have done what is needed with this body, and we shall grant you mercy by letting you control yourself. This shall not be the last we meet.”
With one last push you expel the horror from your mind.
>You now have control of your body again.
You slowly wake up in the school clinic, bound to the bed. Principle Hernandez is sitting next to you. “Miss Stoneworth I am very sorry for all that has happened to you. The therapist you have been seeing turned out to be a dangerous criminal. He disguised himself by killing the previous therapist in this academy and stealing his identity. His real name is Frederick Poole. He is a powerful psychology mage and is considered very dangerous, and he is the follower of a dangerous cultist group. It seems he has been acting as your therapist to prepare you for some sort of ritual to re summon the eldritch horror Nyarlathotep. You were found working with him breaking into a secure facility to steal padlock. Mage Knights intercepted you in time but it seems that Poole escaped with padlock. There is an ongoing search for him and we hope to find him before he unseals the bindings in place on padlock and releases the horror again. We understand that you were not in control of yourself when you were doing those actions, so you shall not be prosecuted. Actually, this is asking a lot but, we would like your help tracking down Poole and stopping him from releasing the binds. You seem to have a deep connection to Nyarlathotep and maybe we can use that to our advantage in finding him. Of course you do not need to assist, if you do not wish to be apart this. You may resume your school life as you were. But if you do want to help then come talk to me again.”
>You are now [Marked by the great one] Your body feels… different. While Nyarly was roaming around as you he made some ‘adjustments’ to make you more eldritch. You now have a symbol on your hand in the shape of a claw. +10 to rolls involving eldritch horrors in any way, since you are part eldritch now. Also Nyarly must’ve done something else to you, because you feel more mana flowing through your body now. +3 to mana reserves.
>You can talk to Principle Hernandez again to go on a mini quest to find Poole and stop him from releasing Nyarlathotep. If Nyarly does break free, maybe you could convince him to be good, who knows maybe he’s just misunderstood.

>RP: Caiden responses to Agata's question, "I was up on the roof trying to survey for undiscovered mana sources. I did find something, a literal pipeline within the school's underground tunnels. But I've been cautious about drawing from it since I felt some weird sensations, hot and bothered." Giving a shrug, "Since then I've tried developing integrated mana systems and mocking up a refinement and delivery system." Agata's craftsmanship on display, Caiden flips through the pages of his binder with his prosthetic fingers. Within are circuit diagrams marked up with occult sigils and runes.

By compiling your research notes and cross referencing them to the tome and the engravings on the Boobylonian halls, you begin to create a proper cipher. It seems to be less of an alphabet, and more of a runic language of itself. There are many runes that are synonymous to each other, yet they have different sigils, such as breasts, boobs, and tits. Other ones include fertility and libido, as well as big, large, and huge. Interesting.

The plant women are fascinating beings. Since they were born in the garden, you know they have some sort of Fey ancestry in them. You run tests on them, and the children are happy to assist you. While it’s a little disconcerting working on something that looks like you, it works. You begin by using your knowledge of Nature Magic to make their wounds(or in this case, gashes and burn marks) regenerate. You’ve seen Ean perform this spell a few times in the Gardening Club, so taking what you know and applying it here isn’t too difficult. You ask them various questions, and they answer to the best of their ability, but whenever you ask a question as to how they knew you, they tell you that they’re honestly not sure themselves. If one thing is for certain, you are definitely sure they feed off some sort of lust energy. This must mean there is a source of it nearby, but you can’t quite pinpoint where. Perhaps if you could find it…

The gym. Home to dudebros, cardio bunnies, and fat guys who buy a year long memberships to motivate them to workout more, but still only come the one time they actually get their card. Everybody wants to be a bodybuilder, but nobody wants to lift no heavy-ass weights. You go about the various equipment they have, straining your muscles to their limits. No pain no gain. Your muscles burn from the effort, as you lift the weights. Ain’t nothing but a peanut. You finish your last set for the day as your muscles ache from the workout. Wew, time to get the stink of sweat off of you.

Going back to the gym, it’s time for more lifting. You take a moment to stretch out before getting started. Safety first, right? You’ll start by doing some bench presses. You lay down on the bench, grab the bar, and pull the weights over the bar. And their heavy. Too heavy. You try getting them back up and over, but the bar is coming down and you don’t have the strength to get it back up. You’re not too worries, as there is another rack lower down to set it on, but it’d be better if you weren’t in this situation to begin with. “Is that all you got?” you hear someone ask, and you’re fairly sure they’re talking to you. “Come on, you can do better than that. Give it everything you’ve got!” You don’t recognize the voice, nor do you know why they seem to care so much, but being watched makes you want to lift it even more, if only so you don’t look like a scrub. The weights are heavy, but you put everything you got into it to push them up. And for a moment you succeed, as the bar goes up an inch. But that’s as far as it goes. Your arms completely spent, it’s all you can do to keep the bar from falling straight down on you. “Woah there.” Two hands grip the bar before it falls any further, and easily lifts it back on the rack like it didn’t weigh anything. Are you that weak, or is she just that strong? “You did well. You gave it your all instead of giving up, and that’s something to be proud of, but you have a long way to go.” You can only look up at the woman, trying not to look DIRECTLY up at her because of reasons. “Though you probably should’ve checked the weights first and had a spotter. No amount of confidence is worth shirking safety.” You’re too exhausted to tell her you just forgot. “So from today on, I’m gonna coach you. I expect to see you here once a week for training until you can lift these weights,” she pats the bar, showing she means this particular weight set you failed to overcome, “and if you try to duck out, I’ll find you and drag you back myself. And trust me, I am just as fast as I am strong, so don’t try running away.” She cracks her knuckles, and you can practically hear your bones shattering. A fast and powerful woman doesn’t sound like someone you wanna piss off, so it’s probably best you don’t forget.

You bonk yourself on the head with your bat. When it collides with your skull, it makes a satisfying THUNK. It’s like music to your ears. After weeks of hitting yourself with a bat, you finally unlock new heights of pain. You probably have permanent brain damage now, but this pain feels so good. You can almost feel the internal bleeding. Turns out hitting yourself with a bat for almost three weeks was a good idea. You think you appreciate pain better now. “The fire maiden returns.” A plant girl with vine dreadlocks said.
“She comes to finish us once and for all!” says the pointing plant woman with a missing arm.
“Run! Hide the children!” Says the plant woman carrying a crying infant plant girl in her arms.
You saw the plant women frantically ran away from the sight of you. You spoke and reassured them that you came back to apologize.
“Mere words are not enough.” said the plant woman who looked like Valerie.
“We demand compensation.” said the plant girl as she adjusts her fake reading glasses.
“We want you... Abby...” says the sharp toothed plant woman as she licks her lips with her long tongue.
Suddenly vines shoot out from their arms, holding you in place.
“We will forgive you!” A plant woman with a large rose for hair says so as she embraces you.
“On one condition.” A plant woman with her other eye hidden behind her leafy bangs does a “number one” hand gesture.
“Feed us with your passion.” A well endowed plant woman caresses your cheek.
“We will to let you go afterwards. Promise!” The child plant girl who looked like a younger you says with an innocent looking smile.

You asked Valerie. “Starting to like the taste of Freddy’s drinks, eh? Alright, let’s go.” You hanged out with her at the bar some more. You had fun talking to her and playing some games there as well. She tells you of her band mates some more. She reveals to you of their origin. Once they were members of the music club but then they were kicked out due to their style of music being way too “loud” and “aggressive”. Instead of appealing to rejoin, they instead formed a rock band of their own. Trinity the DJ joined them afterwards and thus the band was complete. They decided to call their band the “Fire Dragons” for their penchant of using excessive amounts of pyrotechnic during their performances. Before Trinity, Valerie used to do all of the special effects for the band. Particularly with her fire breath. Valerie seems reluctant at first but she eventually gives in and tells you the reason. “Your bracelet. It has the same markings as mine. I recognize those markings. Those are not just pretty patterns and symbols. Those are limiter runes.” You ask what the purpose of those limiters are. You saw a grim look on Valerie’s face “It’s to prevent you from turning into a monster.” A monster? Certainly she must be joking. “I’m not. I… I saw what happens if you… I know because… It happened to me.” Even more confused, you ask her what happened. “As a kid. My dad gave me these.” she raised her wrists and showed you her pair of hefty looking shackles. “Thought it was some kind of joke. So I didn’t wear it. Why would anyone walk around wearing these on? But then it happened.” she paused for quite a while. “My body started to feel hot. Like I was inside a really hot sauna. Strange thing is. It was winter at the time. But then it started to get worse. I started to feel… angry. Not particularly at anyone or anything. I just found myself extremely irritable. I think I punched one of the guest that time. All because he tapped me on the shoulders. Then there came the fire. It was coming out of me like I was some sort of fucking fireworks display. I was burning all over yet it didn’t burned my skin. But holy hell did it hurt a fucking lot. I ran out of the house into the snow. I hoped the cold and snow would put me out but it didn't. I just kept blowing fire everywhere. The pain was too much and I blacked out.” You can see her face going red and tears flow from her eyes. “When I woke up I saw my father. His tuxedo was all shredded up. Then I saw his face. I never saw my father that sad before. He was holding me up. He’s holding a bloody sword in his hand. I looked at my hands and saw that the shackles were on me now. It was glowing bright red. Then… I saw our house. It was gone. All the remained were black pillars and debris. I looked down. There were large footprints and blood everywhere. I followed where the blood led. There was a large crater nearby. I heard someone moan in pain over there. It sounded like my mother. When I got there I saw… I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a real life dragon. It was covered in black fur and had huge fucking wings. It had sharp teeth and four clawed legs. It was covered in wounds. Like it was attacked by a wild animal as large as itself. Then, It began to shrink. What I saw… I couldn’t fucking believe it… This must be all just a fucking dream. But it wasn’t. It was my mother down there. I skid down the crater. She’s still alive. I just know it. I looked down and saw her, all bloody and wounded. She touched my face and smiled and… and...” She wiped her eyes with her arms and looked away from you.

“Dammit… Sorry for the waterworks.” You tell her that it’s fine and that you understand that this must be hard for her. “I guess it is. You can’t just forget something like that. Especially if it’s your mom. After that we moved here in Madrid. We’ve been here ever since. Dad told my everything. He said that this happens to anyone with dragon blood. Starting your 13th birthday, the dragon part of you starts to wake up. In a really big way. So our kind invented these limiters to prevent us from going berserk. Remember what the grown ups used to tell you about teenagers and their mood swings? Yeah. Think that but with dragons. Not a good idea to let it loose at that age. Especially in a city like this full of people. That and dragon slayers. Could you believe it? Fucking dragon slayers in the 21th century. How goddamn ridiculous is that? But then again. Seeing what happened to me, that makes sense.” You looked at your bracelet and contemplated on it based on the new information that you just heard from her. “I’m not 100% sure if that bracelet of yours is legit but based on what I saw you do, I’d guess those are the real deal. If that’s that case… I’m not sure what kind of dragon you are but you seem to be the peaceful sort. Unlike me...” Valerie put her hands in the air to show her wrist shackles to you. “My dad. He knew that I would be needing something with… extra strength.” she put her arms down. “He told me that I can take these off permanently when I get passed my teen years. Which is like, a couple of years from now if I remember right.”

The incident in the forest made something clear : You fire breath, while powerful, isn’t the best when it comes to collateral damage. You start working on a handier source of fiery destruction. At first, you just can’t find a way. A stream of burning flames will always cause damage in a wide area. You finally come up with an interesting idea. Instead of a constant stream of fire, you attempt to create a glob of fire mana, and spit it at your target. The experience is a success, you gather your mana in your mouth, and spit it out as a ball of burning fluid. Though it won’t hit several targets like your fire breath, it’s accurate, and douses the enemy in burning liquid. You practice it a few more times in the firing range, then leave, satisfied with your work. Working with your mana made you understand fire magic a little better.

You went to the direction where you saw where the Magitech Club is at. A small golem the size of a child wearing formal attire approaches you. “Welcome. Miss. To Magitech Club.” it briefly bowed to you. “Name, Glem. Do for you?” It’s speech pattern is simple but understandable enough. It even knows how to show respect and greet people. You ask what the Magitech Club does. “Make magic things. Glowy. Shiney. Patterns. Machine and magic. One.” You deduce that they create magical artefacts here. You asked it if it could take you for a tour. “Okay. This way.” You saw the club busy tinkering away with peculiar looking contraptions of different shapes and sizes. Most of what they work on are either enchanted weapons, body armor, golems, prosthetics, clothes and accessories and even more stranger looking artifacts such as a series of magical machines that fire off bolts of arcane energy like a gun or a cannon. Outside a mechanical golem is going about doing heavy duty work like lifting crates and other materials in and out of the workshop.

You saw some club members who have prosthetic limbs tinkering away at complicated looking devices on workbenches. The sides littered with spare parts for who knows what purpose. People shaping materials into components and parts in a machining table. Some are hammering away at a forge. Others are sewing fabric and enchanting them with magic. You then saw a walking crash test dummy wearing a battered suit of armor talking to the club members. “You should really work on this part.” He points towards a specific part of the suit. “Seems a bit flimsy. I felt the shock from the blast. Woo! That was quite a wallop.” The students nod and started taking down notes on their clipboards. Glem then led you to a room. It has a magic circle at the center. “Ritual room. Do magic here. Circle glows. Things glow back.” This must be the place where they do the magical portion of their craft. “Tour over. Thank you for visiting. Join?” the small golem gave you a club invitation card. You replied that you’ll think about it. You then asked if you can commission a magic artifact from the club. “Yes. Hans and you run through the trenches like men possessed. If you’re caught, you know that you’ll probably be killed. You concentrate on every step to avoid slipping in the mud. Finally, Hans shows you a foxhole, probably dug to protect the soldiers during artillery barrages. “Inside ! Grab any supplies you might need, then let’s get out !” You quickly enter, your heart still racing inside your chest. Looks like the foxhole was made into a depot, there’s several opened crates filled to the brim with equipment in there. You first grab a gas mask in one of them, remembering the horrible damage combat gas can do to your lungs. You also find more ammo for your pistol, and three frag grenades. You focus, trying to ignore the smell of burnt gunpowder, the screams of soldiers, the bullets whizzing around, the cold and the mud, and you search your mind for an exit. And… you find it. A door, very similar to your room’s door, back at the dorm, appears in the wall. You open it, and blinding light shines through. Hans gives you a look. “Schnell ! Let’s go !” Without further ado, you go through the door, followed closely by Hans. You’re blinded for a second. When your eyes start to work properly again, you look around. You’re in your room. It feels like this was all a dream. The mud on your shoes and pants legs is gone, and you can’t find your weapon or gas mask. You look around, but find no trace of Hans. You feel like you need to lie down a minute, your legs are still trembling.

Assembly goes by quickly, and the retractable and detachable functions are easy enough to create. You even manage to make it so that the lenses match the grade of your glasses. With the help of your other members, you begin carving smaller runes into the sides of the goggles. After the painstaking task of runecrafting, you infuse the goggles with Divination magic. After seeing the results of your work, you decide it would do you a lot of good if you could reproduce those results effectively. You realize that your projects make up the bulk of the work in the Magitech Club. Your members are passionate about the subject, so they’re always glad to help, but you can’t help but feel like it would be nice to help your members out with their own projects. They’re all glad to have your expert assistance with their own products. You assist your members on a joint side project they’ve been working on. It was lead by the club’s explosives and ballistics expert, Liam Hudson. He’s known as the club’s coffee junkie, and has been integral in the development of your Mana Blaster. Apparently, Liam and the others had been working together with the Alchemy Club and Gardening/Cooking Club to create a particularly useful machine: a mana-powered coffee machine. He explains that it doesn’t just use any regular ingredients, but rather, it uses specially-grown mana beans from the Fey Gardens, along with an exotic blend of magical spices like Tarma Root and Desert Bloom. The jittery man dubs the drink: “Mage’s Coffee”. You’re the first to try the drink, and it’s goddamn amazing. The aroma is rich and dark. It’s refreshingly zingy, and has a pleasant burn not unlike mint. The blend of ingredients should help improve spellcasting and mana regeneration, as well as having all the effects of regular coffee. Delicious.

Finding the big statue in the library, you ask her some questions about what happened with the investigations that took place a while back during the eldritch incident. Athena tells you that a mister Andres Romero and a few other men in suits came to ask how the book ended up in the library. She told them that she found it alone left on a table and put it back on one of the shelf's, explaining that books should never be left out when not in use. Apparently a few days later professor Lucia came back to the library worried, and asked about the book. Athena helped to look for it but it could not be found. You guess that’s when you got a hold of it. You thank her for her time and leave. It’s not much but it’s something.

>Throw a party with Bob, Cristopher, and Leilana, celebrating becoming second years.
>Send a letter on over to Amsterdam, addressed to Gram and Zoot.

Dear Gram and Zoot,

How are things? I'd assume Zoot is still smoking it up, and Gram is still slaughtering enemies. I hope all is going well over there, and that nothing horrible is going on, like a Devil King slaughtering everyone and shit. I noticed some smoke coming from the forests by the school, so I may have to check it out sometime...

So, we're second years now, huh? I mean, if you guys passed your exams, which I hope you did. Pretty exciting shit. Now we could even get ourselves some apprentices or kouhai or whatever. I heard another exchange program was going on- are you guys thinking about transferring back? Shit, that probably sounds pushy, don't want you guys to transfer over if you don't want to. I know I've contemplated transferring over, but my family is over here, and I have to support them any way I can, and protect our farm from any threats, and I can't really do that from all the way in Amsterdam. In fact, they haven't really responded to a letter I sent some time ago, so I may have to go check them out. I miss you guys, though I've managed to make a few other friends. We should go on another adventure some time.

So, on to the main purpose of the letter- it's a new year, and a new time. I was wondering what your goals for this year were going to be? Me, I'd like to master swordfighting, become the best I can be in it. Maybe then, I can even equal my classmates... It feels kind of bad, sometimes, knowing that with their magic, all of my classmates would probably be able to beat me, but I can't do anything about it except get even better, huh? I'm probably going to start deeply training right away, after visiting my parents.

Well, that's about it for now. I hope you guys do well this year, and have good luck wherever you may go.

The plant women are swayed by your words. All of them looked bewildered and dumbfounded. How could someone be this convincing? Your viny bonds loosen and retracted back to their respective owners.
"Oh, Fine." said the plant girl with a disappointed look on her face.
"We will let you pass." says the plant woman who looked like your mother.
"But only you... and the mistress." says the plant girl with a rose flower for hair.
"The others however... are still fair game." Said the sharped toothed plant woman as she licks her lips with her long tongue.
"We still have to feed you know?" Says the dreadlocks plant woman as she rubs her belly.
Relieved, you were about to say thank you to them until suddenly.
"Now for your end of the bargain." Says the bespectacled plant woman
"I want someone juicy! Someone soft and full of love and passion!" says the little plant girl as she jumps about excitedly.
You ask them if you can give them items instead of sacrificing someone to them.
"Hmmm..." says the plant woman with a sun hat shaped head foliage as she ponders.
"Bring us something that we can enjoy ourselves with." Says the plant girl with a bang hidden eyes
"Yeah! Yeah! Something fun and pleasurable." Says the tomboyish looking plant girl as she makes vulgar gestures with her hands.

“Oh? Interested in my fighting style huh? Sure I can teach you a thing or two.” She reveals to you that when she’s not going full on brutal savage on someone with her claws she uses her battleaxe which also happens to be her electric guitar. “What? You think this baby’s just for show? Nah, this is the real deal.” She flips a hidden switch somewhere on the of the guitar. The sides sprung open revealing a pair axe blades on each side of the guitar. She then demonstrated her prowess with the axe by performing a series of flourishes and powerful strikes. “I do have a regular battleaxe tucked away somewhere just in case if I’m getting into a serious fight. This one’s more of a concealed weapon and stage prop type deal.” she flipped the guitar’s switch again, becoming a regular guitar again. She put away her axe guitar and looked under her bed. She pulled out a hefty looking battle axe with sigils and runes carved into the sides with a particular looking insignia at the center. She reveals to you that the symbol in the middle is their family crest. “Dad gave this to me. It’s pretty old but it still pack quite a punch. Plus it can do this.” She went outside and concentrated for a few seconds. Then one of its many sigils light up and the axehead is suddenly engulfed in flames. Then a different sigil lights up and the flaming axe extinguishes itself. Moments later the axe head gradually accumulates frost. “This old girl can switch between different elements as the wielder desire. Pretty sweet. Though it only works on me and my dad. Must be a bloodline thing.” She deactivates her axe and put it back under her bed. “You’re martial artist now right? I like that. Though a little help from the other part of you wouldn’t hurt. Come on, Draggy. Let’s go to the forest. Don’t wanna attract any unwanted attention around here.”
(.cont)
>>
Later at the forest. “Alright. I’ll start with the one you saw me do before.” She raised her hands and they spontaneously combusts which soon explodes, revealing a pair of crimson taloned claws in place of her hands. “Remember what I told you about the limiters? Yeah. That also means they don’t outright block your draconic powers entirely. You can still tap into a portion of your power if you wanted to. You just have to know how to access it. It’s different for everyone. For me I just focus on a thought like ripping the other guy’s face off. That always works for me.” Valerie then proceeded to maul a tree with her savage claws. Chunks of wood fly off as she rips the wood to shreds. “‘Tap into your primal self.’ Dad often tells me that when we train together. Not sure my way will work for you as well but hey. Give it a shot anyway. If that doesn’t work then you can alway try something else.” You trained on conjuring claws from your hands. You struggled for a while until eventually you had a breakthrough. What that breakthrough is is open for interpretation. Your hands glows and is slowly engulfed by light. It shined brighter and brighter until it finally dissipates. When you opened your eyes you saw a pair of claws covered in silvery feather-like scales with golden vorpal talons protruding from each finger. “Wohohow! Those are some fancy looking shredders you got there.” You moved your fingers and hand about to take a better look at it. It’s more slender in build compared to Valerie’s muscular claws. The talons are thinner, longer and more elegant looking compared to Valerie’s. “Alright, let’s see what those fancy claws of your can do. Let’s start with those logs over there.” She lifted up some of the loose pieces of log and carried them back into the clearing, impaling them to the ground. “Okay, that should do it.” she says as she dusted off her claws. “Try attacking it with your claws. Get used to the feeling and motion.” And so you did what she instructed and attacked the log with your claw. As you swipe away at the wooden log totems, you realize that what your clow lacks in brute force your talons make up for it with shear cutting power. With each swipe you make deep gashes on the logs. “Damn, girl! You can definitely make some serious fucking damage with those things.” You continue to train with Valerie until you felt one of your talons snapped off from your finger. “Don’t worry. It happens sometimes. It will grow back eventually. And besides...” Valerie pulled the firmly lodged in golden talon off of the wooden log and gave it to you. “Now you have a shiny souvenir to take back with you.”

You went to the library to know more of these dragon blooded people. You read history books. Records of Accounts about these people and legends and folktales of them. Eventually you learn that these people are called by many names. “Dragonborn”, “Dragonbloods”, “Half-Dragons”, “Dragonfolk”, “Weredrakes”, “Weredragons” and many others. In the past some people of ancient times have mated with true dragons who took the form of mortal human beings. These true dragons were sometimes worshipped as deities in some tribes and religion. The union between these two raced caused their offspring to take on the traits of both human and dragon. In some obscure texts it is revealed that they were at times mistaken as nephilim. Whether they are truly the nephilim of biblical legend themselves or they are a separate race from the true nephilim is unclear. The result of the union spawned many kinds of half-dragons. Beastmen who are more dragon than man. Others are born almost entirely human if it wasn’t for some of their draconic traits. Some can switch between their human and dragon forms either voluntarily or involuntarily.

As time passes, draconic lineages gradually became more diluted with human blood with each generation until many of them were almost entirely human with no trace of draconic ancestry in them. With the advent of dragonslaying in the middle ages, more and more dragon clans disappear and went extinct. Legends foretold that some of these clans have escaped persecution and have built their own communities is isolated location around the world. Some of them are even one of the mythical “lost cities” of legend. Some of the cunning ones have firmly established themselves within noble society and even within royalty taking up the moniker of “Dragonborn” to show off their higher status among other clans. Most of these draconic nobles’ ancestry can be traced back to the old European tales of treasure hoarding dragons. Rumor has it that some of them have bought and manipulated their way out of persecution during the dragonslaying era. The others, however, were not so fortunate. Some clans have experienced the reverse and these unlucky ones, through the generations, have slowly devolved into feral dragons that live and roam to this day deep within caves and forests and other habitats that dragons usually reside as nothing more than animals driven by instinct. As for the true dragons; There are no accounts of them passed the early middle ages. They, with their godly powers, move on to another realm. Or perhaps they’ve returned to the realm where they originally came from and have left their half blooded descendants to fend for themselves. Others say that all of them have been slain by mighty dragonslayers. You’ve also come to read of a prophetic text that predicts the return of the true dragons to the mortal realm. That they will offer salvation to dragonkind left on Earth and eternal damnation to those humans and their descendants who have hunted them down for generation.

Thinking about what you’ve just found, you try and remember your mountain village home and their culture. You distinctly remember that there were numerous shrines in your village dedicated to a number of deities and guardian spirits. You remember one of them was dedicated to the Goddess Luz the Lightbringer. The one who guides the lost and the fallen back into the light of hope, salvation and redemption. The one who pierces the darkness and clears the path for mortals to traverse safely amongst the sea of darkness and void. The one who guards her mankind from the evils of this world and beyond. Vanquisher of evil and darkness. Revealer of truths and slayer of deceit. The shining shepard. Your villagers often pray to her for guidance and protection before they leave the village. You know this because you and your family prayed to one of her shrines before you left the village for the academy. You remembered the prayers well. You remember that she is often portrayed as a feathery dragon with many wings. Thick golden scales cover her underbelly. Sometimes she is depicted as a wise and motherly woman clad in golden armor and a white flowing dress underneath. She’s often seen in all depictions wielding a gold and silver holy staff with her ever shining sigil as the staff’s head.

“Did you bring Professor Vlad Dumitru’s permission papers with you?” you nervously asked who he is. “Vlad Dumitru. The Academy’s Blood Magic professor. I’m sure you know of him seeing that you’re about to practice blood magic.” you reasoned with her that you are doing self studies. “I see. Well, I can’t give away blood just like that to students. Patient health takes precedence over studies. You’ll still need permission papers.” beginning to feel irritated, you started doing whatever you can to convince her to give you blood. As you do that one of her eyebrows started to rise up, as if she’s starting to realize something. “You look paler compared to the last time I saw you. Are you alright?” you frustratedly reassured her that you are just fine and you need that blood right now. Stating that your project is due tomorrow. As you talk in a desperate attempt to convince her. She opened her desk drawer and took out a hand mirror at used it at you. You looked at it and saw yourself. Well, just your mask and your clothes. You looked at her and noticed that her facial expression is changing to that of realization. “You’re a vampire aren’t you?”. You panickedly made excuses as to why her accusation is wrong. “Yeah, I’ve heard those before. Look, kid. I’m not going to report you to the Holy Order. Not yet anyway. I’m pretty sure you got this by accident. Have you killed anyone yet?” You replied to her that you’ve been feeding off of animals so far. “I see. That’s good. Go talk to Vlad about this. He’ll help you out. No excuses. In the meantime...” She suddenly produced a dart and threw it at you. You felt a sharp pain spreading all across your body. Gradually you felt the hunger slowly fading away. “That should hold off your vampirism for the time being. It’s not a permanent solution but this should keep you from your “urges” for a while. Now go. And I don’t want to hear of an attack either. Stay safe.” As you walk out, you looked back and saw that she’s typing something on her phone. As you stroll through the academy grounds, you notice shadowy figures from the corner of your field of vision. They seem to be following you. Every time you turn to look at the them directly they suddenly disappear. Eventually you managed to briefly see one of them. You can’t make up who or what it is from the darkness (You also ponder why a creature of the night such as yourself didn’t came with night vision.). All that you can see is a humanoid figure with red glowing eyes hidden in the darkness of night. As you stare at it in dumbfoundedly the figure suddenly smiled the widest grin that you have ever saw. Freaked out by this you hurriedly ran inside your dorm and locked the door and closed the blinds. You took a peek and there they are.

Today’s your birthday! That means it’s time for a kickass party. You might be a bloodsucking abomination, but you’re a bloodsucking abomination who likes to have fun. You let all your friends and acquaintances know you’re throwing a party this evening. It’s kind of last minute, but you hope they don’t have plans. Before then, though, you need to prepare. It’s not much of a party if there’s no food or drink, especially cake. Just as you set up the last of the preparations, someone knocks on your door. You look at the window, and see the sun dipping below the horizon. Looks like you lost track of time. Opening the door, you see some of the people you invited, but not all of them. They probably had other plans, you did spring it up at the last minute. But that doesn’t matter, you greet the guests who did come as they enter. First in are Bjorn and Clara, members of the HEMA club. After them is Pyrope and Jade, who apologize on behalf of their sister, as she had other arrangements for the evening. Well, that’s still not a terribly low turnout. You welcome them all in, and get the party started. Everyone starts by wishing you a happy birthday, before grabbing something to eat and drink. The evening is a fairly simple gathering. It’s not a rocking, happenin party, but the assembled people enjoy themselves enough with each other’s company, and yours. It’s nice to see most of your friends and acquaintances getting along. After a few hours, it starts getting dark, and the party starts winding down. Everyone still has things they need to do, either tonight or early morning, so they begin excusing themselves one by one. When the last one to leave closes the door behind them, you feel happy. It’s always nice to have people who care enough to come to your birthday party. Then you turn around, and the happy feeling goes away. FUCK! They left you to clean up by yourself. Some friends…

To rid the woods of the spreading corruption, you’ll need ways to actually combat said corruption. You look around the city, looking for shops liable to have something useful in stock. As you’re walking, you notice a girl about your age, wearing a strange getup. She seems to be dressed like one of those japanese shrine maidens, and looks japanese. When she notices you staring at her, she approaches. “You ! You look like someone who needs something ! You should visit our stand on the marketplace !” She grabs you by the arm, and starts dragging you there. You can’t help but notice how surprisingly strong she is, despite looking pretty frail herself. “So, tell me what you’re looking for ?” You explain the corruption problem in the woods, and how it seems to be spreading. She nods, looking like she understands you. “You’re in luck, we have a variety of charms and seals able to combat evil and yoka-evil spirits. And by buying them, you help support our shrine back in Japan. Two birds with one stone !” You finally reach the small shop on the marketplace. An elderly monk seems to be manning the stall, his eyes hidden under his bushy brows. The enthusiastic shrine maiden calls him out. “I brought a customer !” The old man flinches, and looks around, before settling his eyes on you. “Yes, yes, I see.” He starts preparing a small basket of items. Looking around, you notice paper seals covered with mysterious symbols, as well as strange arrows adorned with rope and bells. You ask the girl about them. “Ah yes, those are purifying arrows. We use them on strong yokai that need to be exorcised the hard way. Us mik-shrine maidens are trained in the use of bows. I may not look like it, but I’m a first dan in kyudo.” The old man hands you a small basket containing some paper tags. He nods at you, and speaks, with a deep voice. “May you succeed in your quest, young man.” The shrine maiden adds : “And return whenever you want ! We’ll give you a discount !” What a strange pair.

Ahhh man it sucks that you didn’t pass the exams. Hey let's go get some drinks to make you feel better! You wander into town and come across a bar. Walking inside, the place is lively. There’s a bunch of people talking, playing pool, shooting darts, and having fun. You saunter up to the bar and sit on a stool. An old man comes up and starts talking to you. “Hmm you look down friend, why not tell a bartender your troubles, the names Frederico.” You tell him that you’re a student at MKA and you just found out you failed the exams. “Ah, the exam blues. Here, I know just the thing to pick you up!” He mixes up a bunch of liquids all fancy like and puts it into a glass. “One Foaming Fairy for you my friend.” You take a drink of the strange liquid. Mmm tasty. You spend the next few hours talking to frederico, and he gives you some good bartender wisdom. “We've all had a rough day, a bad day, a bad night. We've all fucked up. You meet with Jean on the day you agreed upon, clad in your armor and wielding your greatsword. You find the Frenchman practicing. He greets you, ask you if you’re ready, and without further ado, you begin the fight. He gets the first hit in… And fumbles, his weapon falling to the ground. While he’s trying to recover it, you land two solids hits. He manages to recover his rapier, but before he can muster a counterattack, you catch him with your Sweeping Sword Lunge, sending him flying. He hits the wall, and passes out. That was somewhat unexpected. You then walk up to him, and heal the worst of his injuries. He opens his eyes, and coughs, looking pained, but he forces a smile. “H-heh. Zat wasn’t ze best show. I guess zat’s what I get for taunting someone way out of my league. You’re strong.” He laughs, and spits a little blood. “Zat’s good, though. Zis is a great incentive for me to train. So thank you. You asked them what they feed on to sustain themselves. They told you that they feed of off the "passion" of others. They capture their prey and they "play" with them. They don't seem to care who or what it is. As long as it produces "pleasure". The more intense and lustful their prey is feeling the more they get from them. They don't necessarily feed of off their fluids but it certainly helps. Like watering a plant. What they really feed of off is the lust energy that their prey releases when they are sexually stimulated enough. They also get more from prey that has a “strong spirit” alongside having a strong libido. You deduced that they meant that “strong spirit” means someone has ample amounts of potent mana within them. You ask them if they have other sources that they feed off of besides prey. They tell you that the pond that they reside near in emanates the same lust energy but compared to prey it is "diluted and cold" though compared to their prey's "fresh and hot" taste plus they can get to do something fun and existing while they're at it. To them that particular feeling is so intoxicating and addicting that they do not wish to stop. They also reveal to you one of their techniques of dipping and bathing their prey in the pond water so that they will become easier to stimulate. Though eventually their prey eventually stops reacting to their stimulations which makes them sad and wished that they would last longer. You ask them about the pond. They tell you that that is the place where they plant their seedlings. It is also the place where their ancestors emerged from.

Curious you went to the pond and took a long look at it. It's pretty crystal clear. Looks pretty drinkable too though you refrain from doing so. Remembering what the plant women told you about it. You can even see the bottom of the pond. It's full of half buried seedlings just like they said. You circled around the pond to take a better look of it some more from all angles. Eventually you spotted something shimmering from the bottom middle of the pond. It's pretty faint but you're sure there's something there. You asked one of the plant women what that thing at the bottom of the pond is. They don't seem to know themselves but they do know that the lust energies are more potent closer to its vicinity. Sometimes they would even "pleasure themselves" with it. They also tell you that it's firmly stuck to the pond floor. Like it's a part of something much larger beneath the earth.

After the ordeal that was your fluctuating breasts, you decide to go and look for Platina. You find her hammering away at some metal in her forge. She’s so absorbed in her activity that she does not even notice you enter. It looks like she’s making a rapier of some sort. You call her attention, and she freezes in the middle of her swing. “Angelica! What’re you doing here? You’ll ruin the surprise!” Surprise? That sounds interesting. You point out that she’s forging a sword of some sort, and she frowns. “Mmm. I guess the secret’s out. I was making something for you. For Valentine’s Day.” Without another word, she pulls you in for a kiss, and then guides you towards the forge. Not so close that you’d get showered in sparks, but close enough to get a nice look. The metal is a deep green, and in the hilt is a shining purple gemstone. The rapier is elegant, and even though it isn’t finished, you can feel that it carries some amazing power. “It’s forged from Orichalcum. One of the rarest magical alloys in the world. The creation process is lost to time… but I managed to reproduce it.” Wow. Platina truly is one of the greatest smiths of her generation. “I wanted to make it a surprise, but since you’re already here… I want you to know that I love you.” With that, she hammers the last rune into place before dousing the blade in magical waters. Once it’s removed, you stare at the blade, and marvel at its excellence. You attend Demonology class. The room is mostly vacant, you figure the lack of interest to truck with these creatures the cause. When Mr Alexis Jones does enter the room, his stride is deliberate and measured as if this routine has bore itself into his very muscles. He starts at the blackboard marking down the different texts required for the class. Turning around to begin the lecture his gaze locks onto yours and his face brightens up considerably. From that point he doesn't give the lecture to a mostly empty room, but to you directly. Alexis seems particularly intrigued by the hierarchy of Demons, their various ranks and associated sins. For example, the demon Mammon has the rank of king, and is aligned with the deadly sin of greed. "Trucking with these creatures," He warns, "Should not be done without extensive preparation and research." After the formality of the lecture is done and the assigned reading given, Alexis waves you over to catch up.

Asking around for where Andres Romero could be located, a student comes up to you saying Principle hernandez summons you to his office. Stepping in the office you see Hernandez sitting behind his desk along with Andreas sitting in a chair. “Have a seat miss Stoneworth. I hear you have been searching for Mister Romero, I suppose you want to know more about the eldritch incident correct? Well from our investigations we learned a shocking truth about one of our staff members, a summoning teacher named Lucia. She was once a member of the Apothicon cult, the same one that Francis Poole is apart of. Apparently one day she couldn’t stand being apart of the cult anymore and stole an important artifact from them. That artifact is a book called the Kronorium, and did so to slow their wicked progress. She then changed her appearance and became a teacher at our school. We did not know of her past when we accepted her as a professor, because of her exceptional knowledge and skill in summoning. She must have thought to become a teacher at this school thinking no crazy cultists would risk breaking into this campus. She still carried the book with her at all times to make sure no one did try to break in and take it. Apparently she was in the library studying it late into the night, when she suddenly had to leave for the clinic hearing a favorite student of hers named Devin had his foot broken. We assume that’s when the golem librarian put the book on a shelf, and a couple of days later you came across it. After the whole incident Mister Romero got a team together and investigated on how such a dangerous book got into a student's hands. That's when we learned about the backstory of Miss Lucia, and we had to fire her due to her connections to the occult. The reason i’m telling you this is because you have the right to know. It was my fault letting such dangerous people into my school to begin with. If you are going to continue on with your investigations, I advise you to be cautious. The eldritch are wicked beings. I shall give you something to help you if do continue.” He pulls out an ancient book that looks familiar to you. Taking it you recognize that it is the book you summoned Nyarlathotep from. “This is the Kronorium. I am giving you this book because it may help you if you ever come across Nyarlathotep again. Some parts have been sealed by spells with the help of mister Romero so they can not be read, but be very careful, it is still a very powerful book of summoning. I am trusting you to not abuse the power of this book. Now if you have anything else to talk about come and talk to me, I must leave to attend to ‘Principal’ business.” You then walk out of the office thanking Mister Hernandez and Romero for their time.

You tried out the workshop’s latest invention and poured yourself a cup of mage coffee. Damn this tastes pretty good. You then noticed glowing particles emerging from all over you and popping out like you are some sort of fizzy drink. What the? You heard that this coffee enhances one’s magical potency so you went outside to try it out for yourself. You attempt to cast a spell that you know. As mana courses through you to your hands, you felt like your body is being burned and electrocuted at the same time. Then when you finally release the spell your prosthetic hand flew off from the massive recoil. Holy shit. You don’t remember that spell being that powerful. You picked up your prosthetic hand and reattached back. Seems like the coffee is working too well. Curious, you opened the machine and discovered that there is a shitload of mana beans jammed inside the coffee filter. A club member then walked by and noticed you. “Oh, sorry about that. I usually drink mine extra strength. Forgot to replace the contents. Don’t worry though. It’ll wear off after a few days. As long as you don’t cast spells much for a while, you’ll be just fine. Else...” he raised his hand and makes a hand gesture expressing an explosion of some sort. “Names Liam Hudson by the way. Pleasure to meet you. We’ve actually met a few times before but I’ve never had a chance to properly introduce myself.” He then went to the coffee machine and poured a cup for himself. The club worked on the needed parts and components needed for the device. People are hammering away at the forge while others are machining slabs of raw material into shape and engraving some with sigils and runes. Others are tinkering away at the workbench, putting together the electronic components of the machine. All the while you sketch out the blueprint necessary for the construction and for archival purposes.

Once all of the necessary parts are completed, the project can truly begin. You supervised the assembly and directed the team as you look and check on your blueprint to make sure that everything is going into place as it should. After hours of work the filtration device is now complete. It’s almost as tall as a man and as wide as three barrels.

Mag the golem carried it for the club and put it in the middle of the magic circle inside the ritual room. Once there you and the team gathered around the circle and proceeded to do the activation ritual. Rhythmic chanting fill the room as the magic circle glows. Soon machine begins to glow. There. That should do it.

Mag carries the activated filtration machine into a room. With your guidance half of the team connects the machine to the underground pipeline via a series of manaconductive rod pipes. The other half installs a network of mana pipes all over the workshop, connecting any magitech devices into the grid.

With everything in place it’s only a matter of pulling the lever. Here it comes. The moment of truth. The club looks on as you personally pull the lever. The machine begins to glow and hum. You and some of the club members monitor the gauges for any anomalies. All seems to be working according to plan. As the mana passes through the network and into the magitech devices, they all started to run. Yes, it’s powering the workshop now.

Moments later a female club member barges inside the room in a hurry, panting. “Hah… Hah… C-Caiden. You need see this. T-there’s something coming out of the external exhaust. Hah...” She’s heaving heavily and sweating like she just recently went jogging. You notice that she is blushing and her face is bright red. You then looked down and saw something dripping between her shaky legs. Oh no. You, her and the rest of the magitech club went outside. You saw that the machine’s external exhaust is producing semi-translucent fog of pink arcane smoke. As you and the rest of the club stare confused and dumbfounded, you noticed that your body is starting to feel warmer and tighter between your legs. Shit. You ordered everyone to cover their noses and don’t breath in the air. You immediately ran back into the chamber and deactivated the machine.

The details and arrangements of the party are actually set by the newest addition to the group. Leilana, the tanned cutie, practically drags the lot of you to the recreation center where there's a Hawaiian style BarBecue just starting up. Shish kabob of juicy meat chunks are passed around excitedly as well as cans of fruity soda which boasts of actual juice content. Tasting the drinks proves the claim on the label, a delightful taste.

While Leilana busies herself gathering sticks of meat and soda, Bob and Cristopher reminisce about past struggles and victories. Bob holds the shish kabob much like he did with every wooden sword he's held, ready to strike out at terrible beasts. Well, in between biting off huge chunks of meat he does, seriously. Otherwise Bob just seems to blend into the background due to some universal law. Cristopher when not talking about the latest modifications to his own rifle, has basically started challenging people to small contests of strength.

The letter is sent without any troubles and expressing your desires plainly enough. You are assured that it'll reach its destination overnight. As you’re leaving the post office, a disheveled postman stops you. He looks like he’s been through hell and back. “Excuse me, are you Arthur Belrose ?” You tell him that you are indeed Arthur Belrose, and he sighs, looking relieved. “Thank god. The envelope is in the same state as the postman delivering it, but inside, you find the letter itself relatively intact. The man seems to remember something, and also hands you a small package. You go back to your dorm before you start reading. The writing on the paper is your father’s.
“Son,
First of all, merry christmas, I hope you spent it having fun with your friends. Studying is important, but you shouldn’t forget to relax from time to time. Here, things are going a little better. We sold our cabbages at the winter market, and we were able to afford turkey for Christmas. I know your exams will happen soon, and your mother and I will be praying for your success. Remember that your mother and I will always be proud of you.

Your father.

PS : Check the package”

Curious, you open the small box. Inside, you first find a few photos. A family photo in front of the snow-covered barn, a few pictures of your family members inside, gathered around the chimney, and a photo of Socks walking around in the snow, bleating at the camera. Those make you feel both happy and nostalgic. You rummage some more inside the box, and find a small, gift wrapped present. You find a small pendant, a rose carved in wood. So you started talking to like everybody you know describing the Mysterious Manchild, from the cheeto stained fingers and to the Mountain Dew tainted breath.Turns out this guys is rather famous around the the Tabletop Game Shops. He tends to come in and spend hours just staring at the giant display models. Some say he's the reason they keep those things behind glass. And like a sign from the heavens themselves, you find a window displaying the 5000 series Giant Gundam model covered with orange powdered fingerprints.

Walking into the shop, you feel like you've entered the wrong neighborhood. Shelves line the walls displaying books and models of a thousand different fictional universes. The other patrons keep their eyes on your hulking form that barely passes the stores threshold. The only sound in the room is the bells behind your head, which just incidentally ping the back of your head. That and the familiar slurred speech shouting, "YOU got THWOMPED." At the back of the shop next to the back alley exit is the Manchild slamming your Flame Resistant Cards on a thin mat covered with Gundam robots flying around in space.

Without missing a beat, you stride towards the Manchild. With one hand you grab his greasy mat of hair and with the other you grab the pendant sealing you affliction. The Curse is strong in you, and you willingly accept this. Out the backdoor away from prying eyes, you slam the Mysterious Manchild against the brickwork. The pendant in your hand is ripped off and thrown to the ground. In that very instant, you transform. The muscles wreck themselves causing agony, and a roaring howl tears itself out of your throat.

The professor goes on to discuss about Andrew Szydlo, a great teacher in chemistry as he brings out somg flasks and a large circular container. The substance inside is what many magicians call it “Rainbow Water”, Just because with proper control of its acidity, the color can change from red to violet. “Now chemistry is mostly observed with color and smell changes. With proper use of alkaline, which is sodium hydroxide here, which is the basis for making soaps.”

You learn about fire. Candles are used and it releases a nice flame but there are other ways and sometimes more efficient but dangerous ways for light. “A key to a good chemist is control”. A magic volcano powder is even used by magicians in the past but it is soon known as chemistry. It is ammonium dichromate. This chemicals are used which are used for today’s ‘magic’ and with proper use, this can be used for fun or even as an explosive, if done correctly.. Adding fire to the ammonium dichromate is called thermal decomposition which breaks the chemical down to simpler substances. Some chemicals turn into gas and some can be dangerous. Do note that there are some proper safety procedures.

A new discussion goes on how chemistry has always been here. “In the old days, it was ‘natural magic’ which was just ideas. Scientific thinking was established and experiments are needed.. What we did last time with rainbow water is a good example of chemistry as a whole. Its a chemical added to one another to create a new substance but remember, you can’t just mix two chemicals together, that would be absurd and might even kill you! Chemical change will always be involved energy change and you know that there are different energy from chemical to electrical or kinetic energy.”

According to your professor, runes were one of the first ways for humans to truly harness the mana within them, and in the environment around them- and, in fact, until King Solomon, were the only way for humans to even harness magic at all, asides from a few particularly gifted people. The simplest of runes back in the Age of the Gods were able to harness and perform magic on the level of masters of the craft today, but, your professor says with a tear, after King Solomon, runes had decreased in potency, and since the Dark Ages, magic potential itself in humans had begun to decrease, even though there were small surges in the innate potential during periods such as the Renaissance.

>As I return to the workshop the club members reported to me what happened last time. Apparently there was a machine that Caiden and the team have built recently. It was suppose to power the workshop with mana from a mana source but unfortunately it began to produce pink smoke that causes arousal to anyone who inhales it. This is most concerning. I called upon Caiden and the rest of the club for an official club meeting to discuss and brainstorm of a way to resolving this issue.

As the summoned stone pillar rises from the depths of the pond, you started to hear the creaking of metal from beneath your feet. Slowly something rises from the surface of the pond. Atop the stone pillar is a cluster of tangled and twisted web of pipes. All covered in esoteric arcane sigils and runes. All of it coming out of the ground. The scene reminded you of a large fish caught in a fisherman’s net. As the pillar slowly rises some of the pipes began to violently snap in half, releasing a shower of what looks like a pink glowing substance throughout the vicinity. The plant women look on. They raise their hands into the air to catch as many droplets of the substance as they can. All of them laughing, giggling and celebrating. “Oh, thank you thank you thank you mistress for this wonderful gift!” As you look on you noticed that you noticed that their foliage is slowly growing becoming more and more. Flowers sprout from all across their bodies. Gradually the celebration slowly escalated into a massive orgy. The native plant life also began to soak in the vapors. They slowly take on a pink hue. Some of them slowly developed glowing pink spots, patterns and stripes. The pond is growing in size. What once was clear waters is now taking on a pink hue and glow. You looked at the plant women again. Their eyes glow with magic. One of them excited jumping in joy then suddenly pink arcane energies shoot out from her hands. “Ooh, pretty!” she proceeded to fire pink energy blasts into the air, causing something not dissimilar to a fireworks display.

You looked at yourself. Your robe is soaked with the substance. And so are you. You became increasingly aware of yourself. You noticed that your body is a lot warmer than usual. Your legs are quivering for some reason. You hanged back and lean yourself on a tree for support. When you touched the tree you felt a jolt of pleasure by merely touching it. The excitement caused you to collapse, kneeling on your knees. The sensation that you are feeling right now is too much and you slowly slip into unconsciousness. As your vision begins to blur a group of multicolored plant women approached you. You heard one of them speaking with a familiar voice. “Don’t worry, our dear mistress...” she catches you before you fall to the ground. “We’ll take care of you...” you felt her water soaked hands stroke your cheeks. You eventually succumbed and lost consciousness.

Some indeterminate amount of time later you woke up and noticed that it’s now night time. You look around and you saw a group of bio-luminescent plant women all sleeping and snuggled beside you. You picked up your clothes and gear fixed yourself up and looked at the scenery before you. You struggled to look on and saw that the entire scenery has changed. Everything near the pond is now purple, violet, lavender and pink in hue in one way or another. The bio-luminescent trees and plants around the pond have taken a more softer and more sensual forms. Some of the trees’ even have their trunks shaped like torsos in provocative looking poses. The grass feels like soft fur, like the entire field is one large carpet. Most of the plant women have turned into large flower pods. You can hear soft feminine snores coming from inside. Some of them are still at it and some are splashing and swimming away at the now pink pond. The stone pillar that you’ve just created now stands in the middle of the pond like an obelisk covered in a tangled and twisted piece of abstract art. The broken pipes are still leaking smaller amounts of the pink substance into the pool. The whole thing looks like a deranged fountain amids a lewd scenery.
>[Plant Women Pond] has now turned into a [Pink Oasis]. The place looks drastically different from the rest of the fey gardens. Anyone near it will now feel the effects of the substance.

>[Arousing Aroma]’s effects will gradually decrease in intensity by 1 each turn until the smell completely dissipates.
>You can opt to wash it (thoroughly) to get rid of the aroma.

You feel a surge of arcane energy within you. It feels warm yet comfortable. Like you’re within the embrace of a lover. You focus mana on your hand and it produced a pink hue within your palm. It seems like the substance has altered your magic in some way.
>You now have [Pink Mana] within your system. This has a myriad of effects:
>Your charm type spells has now been amplified by 1 tier.

Liam chugs down his cup of coffee, before grabbing another cup, from the machine, and turning to answer Agata. "What you two have said so far sounds pretty alright. I could probably contact the Alchemy Club again, and see what they could do, but it all depends on what this pink shit really is. Caiden, you said it was mana-related, right?"

Liam sips at his coffee, while leaning back against the counter. "If it's some product of a magical reaction, then it would depend a whole ton on the source of this pink shit. If it's pure mana, then one, I've never in my whole life seen pink mana before, holy shit, two, we should probably study it, three, where the hell is it coming from, and four, it'd probably be easy to set up some weak null-magic filters along the sides of the machine, and prevent any mana from escaping. That's just my two cents on the whole situation, anyway. I'll see if I can get the Alchemy Club to help us out, and identify what the pink stuff really is."
