Last time on EDQ, we were mostly fucking around and didn't do much in the way of national actions, but we did do a heavy economic boom in Hansodr...

In fact, as Claw, you can direct the way the industry in Hansodr will grow.

>Let Hansodr stay mostly heavily industrial. That's good.
>...You need BIGGER factories. Look into making it ultra-industrial. (Hurts the environment and living conditions, not to mention you'll need a lot of interested parties willing to invest, but can double your income and heavily reduce the upkeep of your army and in theory allow you to mass produce equipment much faster.)
>Try to go with something... More healthy. Try to make it more residential. (Hansodr's heavy industry gets stripped a bit to a mix of industry and residential, hurting income, but helping the environment and happiness.)
>Try to introduce more... Clean business. Like pharmaceutical companies... (Will turn Hansodr from a heavily industrial city to more "clean" industry. However, this requires a lot of college-educated, preferably human, and vehicular transport... Meaning most werewolves will be put out of business.)
>...You know what's a great idea? There's the underground, just waiting for you! Maybe try to expand there. (You can try to establish a bit of an "undercity", which can be used for industry, tourism, storing weapons of mass destruction, residential (especially underground-preferring civilians, like Dwarves, Drow, or Kobolds. May be very expensive.)
>Try to rurally expand. Farms are great! And large! Besides, the empire always needs more food! (Small income, and slightly hurts the enviroment.)
>...You know what's an amazing idea? Try to establish a tourist district! A really fancy, high class place! (Depending on the attractions and appeal of the area, may or may not flounder.)
>...How about introducing business? Like commerical centers... Malls... People love those! Though it could be very expensive, and hurt local business... (Get more income, and employ more high-school graduates!)
>You know, maybe you should make a huge college... Something impressive! That'll leave a great impression! (Can help in education, but will be very expensive.)
>Write-In for other district ideas.

Also...

55% of Hansodr has a rudimentary education and crude reading and writing skills, being mostly home-schooled crudely. (15% of this are unable to read and write!)
26% of Hansodr has a basic high school education or are drop outs.
15% of Hansodr has an advanced high school degree or are attending college.
3% of Hansodr is college graduates.
1% of Hansodr have doctorates.
>>
>>1282830
>Write-In
Combine the College idea withe the Tourism idea.

Simply put we'll use our government owned colleges and use college sports to draw people in to watch.

You know that does raise the idea of what if we encourage a sport culture among the werewolves.

You decide that college sports could be very useful... Of course, now you turn your gaze to Iceland.

Iceland is very, very staunchly Nordic, and from what some government agents report, has quite an amount of old nazi propoganda floating around. Whether the populace believes in it or not is unknown.

Iceland has a rudimentary electric system, and seems primarily a isolationism based country. It's population is quite low and lacks sophisticated education... Though the Icelanders sport ancestral proficiency in amphibious assaults, melee, and have a surprising presence of a very honor based society, akin to Japan and Medieval Europe. This brand of honor however, revolves around personal glory and bravery, sacrifice, and truth at all times.

The military of Iceland is quite unique as well, their weapons and arms focusing on shotguns with... Halberd bayonets. A little... Genius, actually. Not to mention wearing light armor camouflaged to fit with cold terrain, and plenty of fur to stay warm...Their berserkers's weapons are quite... Intimidating, having a variety of shotguns, axes, bayonets... And of course, for the very famous ones, chainsaw bayonets. Most of Iceland is split into three parts ruled by an individual Jarl elected by the army, and is typically the son of the last Jarl, and each one is expected to die in battle against the otherJarls.

So far, Iceland seems to be a popular recruitment ground for the army, due to a lack of sufficient lumber to build more homes for the growing population... Though the populace is small enough there's some concerns on the amount of recruitment going on there...

The Legate of the kobold embassy has finally gotten back into his office, and apparently has gotten a moderate pay increase... And from what you hear, the emperor's child has gone unpunished aside from paying a increase in the legate's salary.

Meanwhile, the japanese animators prepare the first episode...

>>
Good Success

You bring the kids to the living room and an extra couch... Frankizka seems uncomfortable and annoyed from the amount of kids you have, while you watch it, curled up with your cute wives...

The first episode seems above average in quality, and seems to have scrapped that script you gave them in exchange for introducing everyone... And apparently, they erh... Something about a deadly disease and giant robots which have destroyed China and Africa and are attacking Europe or something... Giant robots with giant swords which somehow shoot lasers from the pummel... Causing mini nuclear explosions. Or how that deadly disease turns people into highly creative cyborgs which have a penchant for making giant cars, homemade tanks, and in one case, making a bomb to try and assassinate you. Which was made out of duct tape, glue, an old milk bottle, some lemons, and a toothpick. Oh, and some alcohol.

That's not even mentioning the kobolds with weird fucking power suits and holding heavy machine guns and firing sniper rifles in the middle those square legion shields... Oh, and of course the Japanese seem to have a large presence since the secondary protagonist is in Japan, fighting giant robots the size of skyscrapers, Americans, and Chinese communist sympathizers.

All in the first thirty minutes... There's thirty more minutes left.

It's interesting..

Hey OP ever watched generator rex?
I think that's a good direction to take the cyborg plague.

Basically.
>Cyborg plague evolves allowing the infected to absorb technology to increase their size and power. Depending on the 'class' of the cyborg they can absorb more tech and grow bigger and more powerful. Ren works with the kobold empire to combat this threat and even makes some friends among them (Legate-san and Clevita) during a recent fight against a high class cyborg and ren gets infected with the disease by the cyborgs. He doesn't die but escapes and exits the scene for a while. At this point it switches to our wives at it sort of becomes dealing with his absence. Ren of course returns later with some sweet tech based abilities (though he remains mostly organic and can look so if he wants) and gains the ability to cure the plague in some individuals.

This allows us to get epic three headed robot dragon fights.
Our resurgence and curing and helping people makes us look good.
The switch to focus on Liz, Frankizka, and Chrysoula will make them look good.

We can add depth to the kobolds by portraying our friend kobolds as good and making the (((prince))) look like a ass.
And during our disappearance Claw and Pragius could take up our role of fighting monsters then switch to helping us when we return.

Also clevita can be our tech support for our robot powers giving us plot relevant upgrades.

Have the kobolds take advantage of the disease to make powered armor that can fuse and gattai like in Gurren Lagann.

Add in a dedicated BBEG. Someone bathed in a high concentration of the cyborg virus giving birth to a Super cyborg. This guy will be much stronger and better than a normal one while maintaining their human appearance. We can use them for tension.

Also later on in the anime during a fight against the BBEG we can add in one of those battle manga upgrades you get in the middle of a fight.

Which is to say using our magic blood with the cyborg virus for some cool looking magitech mode (This can't be used in dragon form bcuz reasons) also gives me an idea for the final fight being a epic knock down drag out between us in magitech mode and him. Just tearing shit up in the city.

Since frankizka is sitting on our lap let's pull her in close to fondle her while we think of how awesome this shit will be.
>>

You think it's a great idea, which you decide to save for later... And present to the animators as soon as possible.

A week goes by...

You hear that the animation has gotten quite a bit of people interested, and that it seems somewhat popular.

Huh.

Meanwhile... Chrysoula's stressing over her dad coming over any day now, and you need to set up for him...

Hey, Renexizious?

Yeah Flames?

You know... I don't want to come off as the raging plotter... But I mean, in theory if her dad died she'd be Archon... And if the High Archon or whatever of Greece died, we could try to get her in...

You speak as if this quest is grounded in anywhere near actual science.
>>
>>1289229
There is still a scientific or rational aspect about Chrysoula and her genetic relationship to cancer. While it could just be blamed on a bad roll, there is the possibility that minotaurs have a tendency to get cancer the same way that certain types of dogs get arthritis earlier. At the very least her father shouldn't be any more likely to get cancer, ecspecially considering he's older and if he was prone to cancer like his daughter then he probably would've gotten it already.

Allow the company to move in under the condition that they are placed under a special tax. The profits of which will be given to the local companies to allow them to expand, modernise and improve.

The tax shall cease in five years time, if in five years those companies haven't found a way to compete then they never would and they deserve to fail. However the sudden introduction of a large, advanced and foreign company into the market would be hard for any business to deal with, thus the tax shall help them adapt.

Also, launch our own investigation into the health claims about the bread...if it is healthier then knowing why would be useful, if not then we can discourage their business without actively attacking them...

Great Success!

You of course, have a nice and fun time with Chrysoula, and complimenting her strength... She seems to enjoy it quite a bit.

"So, Ren?"

"Yeah?"

"So... I was kind of thinking about maybe uh... You know. Stopping by a movie theater or something..."

"Really?"

"W-well, yeah... I-I uh, I got tickets... To that new movie. War of the Worlds. Frankizka kinda wanted to go, but uh... Well, she's busy going through papers and stuff."

"Really?"

"D-do you not want to go?" She seems a bit worried, like she's afraid she accidentally offended you.

"I mean, we just haven't seen a movie for a while..."

"Well... I mean, we could uh..."

She kind of blushes a bit.

"There's erh... Hang on..."

She reaches for a rather sweaty pocket, and pulls out some newspaper clippings...

"There's uh... Oh. Uh, dancing lessons half off... Erh... A barber's shop coupon... Erh... There's also skating half off..."

"...I find it hard to believe you can either skate or dance."

"W-what? I-I mean, I can just watch you... I mean, I'm not stupid... I know it'd be... Really, really hard for me to skate or dance..."

"Yeah, that would be hard..."

"O-oh, there's also uh... I think a football game. I erh, never really seen that before..."

"Really? I didn't know we had a stadium."

"It's for uh... It's for your kid's school... I saw it pinned to the fridge. I think it's a team for it."

"Oh... So we're watching... Grade schoolers play football? Is it American or European?"

"W-well... I mean, it could be fun? I think it's American... I mean, I think the Americans have their "super bowl" or something today... I've uh, never seen it before, actually..." She seems a bit curious...

You eventually begin to finish up work, and begin to head home...

Along the way, you and Chrysoula walk next to what seems to be a pet shop. Chrysoula can't help put stop and look in.

"Hey, Ren? Have you ever went inside a pet shop before?"

"A pet shop?"

"Well, yeah... I mean, have you thought about having a pet?"

"Do you want one?"

"W-well, I don't think I'd be good with it... I just think they're cute, you know?"

"Pets?"

"Well, yeah... Hey uh, this might sound stupid... But did you have childhood pets?"

"...A childhood pet. Me?"

"Yeah. I'm uh... Well, I kind of did, I guess.'

You try to think back, and you lean up against a wall.

"You know, I did kind of had one. Whenever I was done hunting in the wilds I kind of talked about world conquest to a... Squirrel. You know, that sort of thing."

"A squirrel?" She seems quite confused...

"Well... A erh... I think the tree had a squirrel in it. I wasn't too sure... I think I named him Evanilik or something."

"Oh... Erh... Well, I never had one. I was kind of curious. Most people do, I think."

"Eh... Come on, you probably had something you talked to like it was a pet or something."

"Well... I-I mean, I kind of... Well... Until I was nine I kind of... Well... I kind of talked to my dolls like they were pets... I had one of a cat, a dog... You know. Animals... Also, a giraffe."

"You had dolls as pets?"

She blushes profusely.

"W-what? Of course not! I-I don't know what your talking about..."

"Oh, yes this is... You love it, don't you?"

"R-ren! Come on... I-I just like having things near me while I sleep."

"Really?"

"Y-yeah..."

"Really? I find that hard to believe."

"I-I just really liked their songs, alright?"

"Sure you did..."

"...L-Let's just go in, ok?"

"Only the Asians, I think."

Fine then I guess.
Move on so we can deal with that mutagen
>>
Elizabeth has begun to think deeper more often

You wake up in the morning after having a dream of Elizabeth breaking into Aulus's teacher's house... You feel around for Elizabeth, and feel her next to you in her cute little human form... Chrysoula seems a bit bruised and her eye is a bit swollen. She hugs you so tightly that you find it nearly impossible to get out... After nearly an hour, you slip out of her hands, and hear her whine a bit in her sleep, and look visibly sad... She seems to want something to cuddle with.

Actions

>Leave, you have things to do! A lot of things!
>...Try to get Elizabeth to cuddle with Chrysoula. Maybe that might work?
>...Fine. You'll cuddle with her a bit more.
>Send in Blondi?
>Have her cuddle up to a slave or something...

>>
>>1297368
Hold on.
Can't we cast necrotic healing?
We should do that.
>>1297411
Also as a note we should add our skeleton scientists to work with renexizia and lorriana.
>>
>>1297419
You can, but it won't exactly heal her bruises completely. It'll still leave a visual mark for a while before fading.
>>
>>1297431
We should anyways.
Using the magic makes it stronger.
And I'll switch to cuddling afterwards but after that we need to get right to work.

Why not just give Svana a dragon mutagen and have our family/the royal family of Europe be all immortal dragons.

Partially because dragon mutagens are expensive af.
Partially because dragons are prone to eccentric personalities and mental disorders.
and partially because some of our family probably don't care for being dragons
>>
I just sit down and my eyes closed while I was still on my laptop, causing me to pass out.
Sorry anons.

You cuddle with her a bit, and make sure to use necrotic healing. She seems happier and much more comfortable.

She slightly nuzzles you with her head and you think she's quite happy..

Eventually she loosens up, and you slip out, her being more comfortable...

You head to the labs to do SCIENCE!

And test to see what happens on a human half dragon aver overdosing on the mutagen.

Of course, your lacking willing subjects, save for the neckbeard... Though you have gotten mail from his mother, who's worried sick about him and how she's worried that "he hasn't come home for two months or even called me" and that the police are unwilling to help her...

It seems his mom's trying to investigate his disappearance, even though you've made sure that most of the public documents around him are disappeared or destroyed to hide any evidence of his existence...

What do?

>Do something about the mother's mail! You don't want to deal with this possibly getting out!
>...Maybe you can try to deal with the neckbeard... Sending him home or something.
>...Preform SCIENCE! on the neckbeard!

If not we can just send him home and claim we were detaining him for trespassing on crown property. If he did we need to look into memory wiping agents.

You send the subject home, since he's seen nothing really...

You have a list of felons convicted brought out to you... There's about four convicted felons you can have right now...

>Gunnar Henningson (Human, convicted of bank robbery, second degree murder, resisting arrest, and killing police officers. Was a member of the heist crew you arrested.)
>Steffan Wulff (Werewolf, convicted of mass murder as a crime of passion, but willingly surrendered to police officers and is highly remorseful. Was the werewolf who preformed a massacre at hearing his daughter was kidnapped.)
>Erika Vinther (Human, charged with conspiracy to kill and conspiracy against he state, and assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon.)

You begin to apply the overdose...

You decide to give him triple the dosage...

The effects seem to be interesting... He begins to have his mouth foam red, and he twitches a bit as his skin moves, and his skin's scales become thicker and bulkier, and he seems to be a bit more tough and stronger...

His face at this point however, seems very deformed and looks sunken, and he seems to be vomiting... His brain also seems to be hemorrhaging..

You observe these results, which wildly fluctuate, and after a bit seems to calm down... The brain hemorrhaging somehow comes to an end, though you detect that... Well... He has the mental intelligence of a seven year old, and you diagnose him with having... Autism, it seems. He seems very obsessive about shiny things, and seems to enjoy playing with them.

At this point, the subject has been reduced to a child like status, and that he has trouble standing and breathing. There's some serious medical problems... You also note that the brain hemorrhaging has caused complete memory loss as well, and his motor skills and functions are primitive, along with his language skills.

She gives you a plate of food and a kiss.

Everything that could go wrong, goes wrong in nearly a second.

As Chrysoula goes up the stairs from the library where a over-hyper Elslif accidently rushes into her, knocking Chrysoula back down into the basement, bursting her dress and hoodie open, and causing her to lamenate over the loss of it and possibly embarrassing her father, and tries her best not to get upset. Elslif seems a bit heartbroken and goes to help, but Odah, in the midst of playing tag with Elslif, tags her a little too hard, pushing her also down the stairs, causing an upset Elslif who's crying, a upset minotaur, and Odah trying to put the blame on "The Jews". When you ask him why, it seems Charlemagne "explained it in a really really long conversation why it's their fault."

Of course, hearing this Elizabeth goes off to talk to Charlemagne about this, and you order a slave to bring some band-aids for Elslif and a towel for the upset minotaur trying to hide her tears at being embarrassed so much.

Meanwhile, your dad accidentally gets your mom a bit angry at trying to tell her to stop "reading the kids stories and actually get them ready", and your mom locks your dad in their room after a lengthy argument. Your dad however, sneaks out through a window, only enraging your mother further, and your mom kidnaps Jorund and instead of yelling, forcibly cuddles with him in their room, the door locked. Leaving the rest of your slaves and kids mostly messing around, with Michael deciding to just sneak off to the cinema and with Charlemagne realizing his mom wants to have a "talk" to him, vanishes off the grid. Which ends up with Elizabeth ends up talking to Svana, and breaks down half way through and ends up coddling her in public, and treating her like a daughter. And she goes off to try and "make things right" at a nearby ice cream store.

Your guards at this point, realizing the hilariousness of the situation, make some jokes about your family and decide to pass the time by playing cards while the family tries to get back together, the cooks can't help but peek out, risking burning the food, and Chrysoula is still upset.
Oh, and the kobolds can't help but watch, slightly concerned.

Critical Failure

You try to get Clevita to try and help you... You offer surface languages. She refuses. So you decide to offer her the location of one of her race's holy cities or whatever. She eagarly agrees, giving you a hug. It takes a minute for you to realize, but by that time you rush to try and help Elslif back at the lair, and try to apply a band-aid over her arm... But she jumps up into your arms, knocking you down the stairs...
You hit a part of the stairs with your head and your nose, breaking your nose and giving you a nasty concussion... No wonder everything's dizzy...
You stumble into the library and drink as much whiskey as you can just so you won't feel the blood out of your nose. It's not painful, but you'd rather not feel it...

You apply a band-aid over her eye or whatever and stumble up the stairs as Elslif continues to cry, and by the time you get to Odah you realize you just put the band-aid over a bruise or something. You tell Odah to "fucking stop it" and stumble off to the cooks, having gotten nothing done. You of course, mumble something to cooks and walk past to Chrysoula, trying to get her hoodie in working order...

You know, she'd be comfy to sleep on...

You pass out on Chrysoula with your concussion, but not before barbarically letting a burp out in her face and threatening the nearby slaves to "get fucking lost"

Of course, your concussion shenanigns come to an end.

So of course, it's Elizabeth's turn to try and get everything done.

Your currently at an ice cream store with Svana, who's just confused and trying to come up with excuses to go... That just won't do... Though she sweetly offers to pay for your ice cream.

Roll me a 1d20+6 to see if she can finish being maternal to Svana in time to actually get things done.

+3 if Elizabeth can try to rush the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law bonding, all while trying to push the narrative that she should really just be "your daughter". (+2 if you can find a way to force her to stay or find a way to tempt her to stay.)
+2 if you can talk embarrassingly about Charlemagne, and completely forget what you were mad about.
+1 if you can mention how sweet Svana is. (+2 if you can promptly be maternal to her, overwhelmingly.)

You of course, towards the end of the bonding, begin to get worried... What's going on at home? Hopefully Ren has it under control...

You decide to excuse yourself from talking to Svana and take her home just to check up. A payphone just isn't going to work...

As you get home, Ren seems to be sleeping ontop of Chrysoula, and seems agitated whenever someone comes close. Chrysoula also has... A notable lack of clothes, and seems quite upset, slight tears.

"L-Liz? You need to help... I-I don't want to get up."

You walk over. Chrysoula seems comfortable, and could probably push Ren off, in theory.

"Really? What's the problem?"

"...He's cute like this... A-and he'd be angry at me for pushing him off..." She says, worried.

"Well, I'm sure he'd understand."

Critical Success!

You gently shake Ren.

"Sweetie? Can you please get up?""

You give him a sweet kiss on the face, and he opens his eyes, relaxed.

"Oh, yeah, yeah... I can do that."

He gets up, still a bit disoriented...

Chrysoula gets up, and thanks you profusely, and gets a toga on as fast as she can... Meanwhile, you notice your children messing around, that sort of thing...

So of course, you try to get them under control.

Thanks to Ren helping you, it doesn't take too long... Eventually, you hear Chrysoula's father has arrived at the docks...

Roll me a 1d20+7 for how well this goes.

You know, except for everything we have done in south america and such. That shit is never seeing the light of day...
>>
>>1305450
Sure we can tell him.
I still want to talk to our treasurer.
There's no way he's as much of a meme as his name is.
>>
>>1305452
Our QM is a /pol/ fan. So he is about as stereotypical as a joke about a priest and a small choir boy.

Though I do want to perform some major reforms in education and such. For example, ensuring all of our citizens are literate and numerically capable. Seeing as 15% of Hansodr can't read and write which is a serious problem.

Preferably we can get them all a good education but we must not do what america did, if we devalue a college education then we will run into other problems.

We should also see about getting the concept of Latin as the nation's "Civic" language. Used for administration, official governance and other such purposes. Then we enforce it onto our vassals, resulting in a unified language across our entire empire, lowering the cultural exchange barrier.
>>
>>1305452
He is a big meme, as what >>1305491
said.

Also, if anons want a higher success, just have Chrysoula try to do more last minute prepareness and Ren come up wih more excuses, which he doesn't have to use.
>>
>>1305491
I had some ideas involving great works(Every empire needs one and it can net us some fame)
Getting our slaves to hate us less.
Military reformations (We need more training for our NCOs and Grunts considering how they are basically redshirts)
Also more ideas to make money.

Also I can enjoy the thought of government funded colleges.

Do you think we should ya know.
Lessen the bias in our schools?

Plus even if our treasurer is a meme we should get to know him along with our other cabinet members. It's objectively good
>>
>>1305500
How big are we talking?
Will we be able to actually have any sort of actual conversation?

Also I'll just take the current success
>>
>>1305521
Well, I mostly meant him as a joke. If anons want to seriously talk to him I'll just reduce the meme levels.
>>
>>1305540
Sure.
But we can do that later.
I want to take maria to the D&D universe for a quick resurrection
>>
>>1305506
I agree with the armed forces reforms, personally I would argue we need to model ourselves after the British armed forces but larger.

As their armed forces focus around using small groups of highly trained troops, SAS or Guhrkas, in support of a larger but very well trained and equipped general force. It is a model which works for power projection while not costing significant manpower to maintain.

Also, we should take lessons from real world Russia. Like for example, the use of troop transportation + ground attack helicopters to augment the mobility and firepower of our troops.

I still think that nukes are a shit idea, seeing as becoming a nuclear power puts a strain on our relationship with our son.

As to our schools, what do you mean Bias?
>>
>>1305555
Our school has some bias. Mostly conservative stuff and Christianity I think?
Though we've put subtle latin and roman influences in it now.
>>
>>1305574
Those are good influences, conservatism and christian influences not only give support to our rule from the people but help maintain the current status quo and cultural fabric of our empire.

I see no reason or need to alter the current balance, unless someone in brings it up in game.
>>
>>1305583
Actually if we want to give better support to our rule it'd be better to use totalitarianism instead of conservatism.

That was actually one of the mentioned benefits to if our schools were taught by werewolves.

More encouraging loyalty to big brother
>>
>>1305589
Eh, personally I want to try and move away from that part of our characters rule.

I personally want to try and make our nation into a paradise.

I want us to automate every industry, to lower unemployment to <1%, to grant universal healthcare, to see all be literate and free under us.

I know realistically we won't achieve it but I will be dammed if I don't admit I hate our current style of rulership. I don't want to lose the whole "not apposed" part but still...

However, my plan is to only do that once we have dealt with Ragnarok. Then we use it, once it happens and people know about it to not only show our rule as wise but also to explain our actions.
>>
>>1305611
What?
We can be a totalitarian and still do that.
We just have to be reasonable and not autistic with our power.

Also I wanted to visit our kobold civ and update their hierarchy.

Make the slaves not slaves and institute a caste system.

I think a caste system would be much better for their collectivist nature.
>>
>>1305620
True but the problem is there is a direct relation between their level education and democratic tendencies of people. So the more educated we make them, the more problems we eliminate from their life, the more they will have free time to pursue ideas involving revolution, assassination and coup.
>>
>>1305650
Wait what kind of government do you intend to make our empire into?
>>
I'll be back in a bit anons.
>>
>>1305611
Universal healthcare, was already a dumb idea, but automating every industry and still keeping unemployment down below 1% and now your retarded. Focus on eliminating crime and removing any corruption in your own government first, then prevent foreign interest from getting inside. That is if your goal is any kind of democracy.
>>
I'm against creating of a democracy.
I prefer a monarchy honestly

You of course, wait for her dad to arrive. Chrysoula tries to do some last minute stuff, and you come up with a few ideas... And a few excuses.

Eventually, you hear Chrysoula's father pull up out front...

Is there anything you want to do last minute?

You go out to meet her father, who's getting out of the car you sent down... Chrysoula walks beside you, clearly quite nervous...
Her father steps out of the car, and the two of you make eye contact... He seems a bit confused, and seems to not really recognize you.

Borderline Failure!

You go up to him, giving him a nice, firm handshake. And of course, a strong pat on the back.

"Hey, it's nice to meet you again! My sincerest apologies if I've confused you for a second, but it's me, Renexizious. I'm just doing some minor shapeshifting... It's nice of you to visit! Your daughter has been having a wonderful time here, and it's nice to see you again!"

"Ah, I hope so... The trip was... Hard on me."

"Hard on you?"

He seems a bit sea-sick.

"...Now... I'll see about talking to you and my daughter later... I have...A foul stomach trying to launch a coup, if you know what I'm saying."

"Right... Use the restroom please."

"Right, thank you..."

Your slaves show him the way to the nearest restroom while Chrysoula awkwardly stands.

"W-well uh... I'll talk to him, alright?"

"Yeah, see you."

You give a kiss to Chrysoula and she goes off to help her father, and you head back to your lair, your head banging quite a bit... You need a nap.

You close your eyes on the couch while you put a ice pack over your head to feel more comfortable. And stop that damned banging in your head... It's annoying enough that it's preventing you from getting a nap.

So of course, your chief servant walks in, with what seems to be a list.

"Sir?"

"What is it?"

"Erh... The Archon of Sparta is erh... He seems to be sick, and bedridden for today. I don't think he'll be able to talk to you."

"Ah."

"Oh... Also uh... There's a... Lot of protesters, sir."

"Protesters?"

"Well... The anti-multiculturalists... The anti-war, the socialists and communists... A few corporation-sponsored protests... Oh, and also the bioconservatives and the anti-slavery crowd... Oh, and the gays sir... Along with the pro-slavery crowd."

"What? Why?"

"It's uh... Apparently a "Day of Grievances". It's being broadcasted nationally too, sir."

Well... I find it highly unlikely they all decided to do this at once... Especially when the representative of a foreign power is here. I think someone's coordinating them.

Hm...

Actions

>...Try to find out who's behind this city-wide protest?
>...Ignore it. It's not getting in your way. (National Unrest increases severely across your country!)
>...Maybe you should have your chief servant bring you a list of their grievances.
>...That's it, no more Mr. Nice Dragon. Go out and intimidate or attack the protesters. (May severely decrease your PR, but reduce National Unrest.)
>...Send a death squad down to "clean up". (Decrease's PR, and decreases National Unrest, along with making your Death Squad being more efficient.)

You decide to find out who's behind the city wide protest...

So of course, you look to who might be effective at this...

Treasury: 21$ Million

>Call Frankzika back home to look into this!
>Well... Elizabeth's great at talking! Though she can be too sweet at times, if that makes sense. Why not send her to try and find out who's doing the protests?
>...Hire some spies to infiltrates. (Cost: 6$ Million, though you won't have a direct hand in the matter and it could fail or succeed.)
>...Maybe Claw? He's good at sneaking around, though his social ability is... Questionable.
>...Maybe you shouldn't do this...

Critical Success!

You of course, blend through the crowd and find what seems to be a... Rather high amount of... Robed men. Middle-eastern men.
You of course, having your interest piked, follow them a bit... They seem to be meeting in a alleyway... Plenty of them seem to be carrying book-bags or backpacks.

They also seem to speak Turkish, and you can barely understand them due to your limited lingustical ability in it.

"Is it ready, Taydemeir?"

They take off their fez's, and reveal a set of... Black pointed ears.

Fucking drow elves.

"Good, good... Now, do you have the money ready for the surfacer's information?"

One of the drow nods his head.

"Good. Deliver it before we begin, and thank him personally... Now of course, everyone has gone over the plan, yes?"

Everyone nods their head, but a female drow wearing a hijab takes it off.

"...I do not believe I was told of this plan, and as Lolth demands, I want to know what this plan includes... I still am shocked by the insolence of these surfacers to attack the Drow Empire."

"Ah, of course, Princess Ilkuna. The bomb is straight from our Gnome allies, in fact, that's where the information came from. Now of course, this is a very famous firebomb, and once this goes off, we'll have our surfacer pawns attack and take the blame..."

"Ah, the muslims?"

"Yes, indeed. So easily convinced of restoring the Ottoman Empire too! All we had to do was pay for their tickets here..."

"...I must salute your planning skills. For a male. Though what about the kobolds-devils?"

"Ah, easily solved... We're having the Elven Dominion to take the blame... And to deliver it. Hopefully the agent will leave enough evidence to put the blame on our surface cousins... And on the Swedes."

"Good... Good. These surfacers will pay. Now, let us reconvene elsewhere..."

Before you can act, they all teleport away... You however, have a gut feeling they haven't gone too far.

Meanwhile, you go to check on the embassy...

When you arrive... You notice the front gate seems to have first responders alongside it, and you go inside to see a lorry, with a foul smell coming out of it... You see that a sliver of the it's open, and blood is literally pouring out of it... The lorry itself is immensely damaged, missing both wheels, having massive holes, and having blood, body-parts, and from what you count... At least 1000 rounds of high-caliber machine gun ammunition poured into it... And judging from the scorch marks, they seem to have fire ammunition... Which blew up the gas tank. And judging from some large holes, armor-piercing ammunition which are about .70 caliber... And when you examine the engine of the truck... It's so destroyed you doubt that it's ever been an engine.

You look around to see quite a bit of highly paranoid kobolds looking around... There seems to be a armored car in front of the lorry, which seems to have been the one to ram through the gate...

From what you can see, no kobolds were actually hurt...

Good Success!

You manage to get access to the machine turrets, and take a quick look at them...

It seems there's a large variety of ammo, and plenty of it, along with a machine gun that seems appropriately sized, and could likely fire .30 caliber and above at most at first examination... The gun however, mostly seems focused on rate of fire, and ease of control, being a sort of bullet hose rather then being accurate...

You also notice the kobold machine-gun nests seem built to prevent grenades being tossed in, having bullet-proof glass surrounding the nest... You have a feeling it's very durable...

Firstly there wouldn't be as much political backstabbing. Not to mention we would put their resources to way better use. Just look at the other kobolds (Who we should really go check up on) Though her being maternal to our potential subjects is kind of off. It's probably because kobolds are small, short, and helpless, with a blatant weakness for headpats.

Honestly the kobolds paranoia is obviously more social than genetic.

Their society when you look at it hard enough is kinda shit
>>
You look at the gun carefully...

You note that the gun seems to have a battery slot for some reason, and after some poking around you notice that the ammo itself is quite small...

On examination, the ammo types seem to be color-coded...

Blue seems to be... "Taser Rounds", and have an effective distance of 50 meters, and are considered to be "non-lethal".
The second box is called "Airburst Rounds", and are considered "Maximum Force", designed to explode mid-air and shoot 20 smaller bullets to hit nearby enemies, with the explosive distance being 75 meters, and the smaller bullets going up to 40 meters past that.
There's also AP-IC Flak rounds, which have a similar effect but are meant for anti-vehicle and anti-air.
There's also incendiary rounds, which upon hitting a target causes a small stream of napalm to explode out of it, being very lethal to infantry and very useful for smoking out enemies and cover.
Next of all, seems to be "Heavy Armor Piercing" and seem to be meant to penetrate the flanks of tanks...
The final ammunition seems to be "Explosive Rounds".

When you look around the gun further, there seems to be a claim that the gun can fire up to "5000 meters with no bullet drop or wind effect".

Truly remarkable.

You of course, being curious, can't help but look around the gun further, when presumably the owner of the gun walks up to you, wondering what the hell your doing.

"Sir, why are you poking around military hardware?"

"Hm? This?"

"Right... Where's your armor? And where the hell did you come from? Your a civilian!"

"I'm just a... Journalist. I saw that your guns did a massive amount of damage..."

"Your damned right they did!"

"Yeah... I was wondering if it was alright with you if I could ask you a few questions about the gun itself..."

"Well, shoot. Then get out of here, alright?"

"Right, right... So what exactly is the standard ammo you use around here?"

"That'd be AP-IC Flak Rounds for us. Easy and cheap to make."

"Really? So how does the ammo work?"

"Well, it's a bit like a shotgun, but it doesn't spread until the 3000 meter mark..."

"Amazing... Your guns can shoot up to that far?"

"Well, let me show you..."

The kobold shows you that the gun itself has a detachable scope, similar to that of a sniper rifle, though with what he calls a "infrared laser sight" that goes up to a "2000 meter" mark... And he claims that "scientifically no one but us kobolds can see it."

It seems kobolds can see in the infrared spectrum... However, when you look through it... You find it extremely difficult to actually see the laser. For some reason you lack the capability to see it.

"Well, that's interesting... But it has no bullet drop?"

"Nope! I got at least one-hundred and seventeen kills to my name with this baby against the Drow. Now, it's rather new tech... It uses magnets for the gun..."

Continued.
>>
The way he describes the gun to you, it seems to be a fast-firing gauss rifle, which requires stabilizers, plenty of experience to fire, and is experimental, and is supposed to roll out next year... It's few downsides is that the gun can overheat and jam up, and that the gun's recoil is extreme. But however, each bullet is extremely lethal, capable of by-passing armor and cover with easy... And from what you can hear, makes mince-meat out of Drow armor. Though the gun itself requires batteries to run, meaning it has to remain close to supply lines... You also hear him mention that "New Magnesium" is apparently a required armor for the machinegunners.

Actions

"Yeah, now get going... And stay safe, I guess."

"Yeah, you too."

You get ready to leave, though that foul smelling air comes back as you leave...

"Can you eat? I made some hot chocolate and cheesy bread."

"C-cheesy bread?"

"Well, it's bread with melted cheese on it... Come on, try some, ok? It'll warm your sore throat up."

Elizabeth seems to be trying to take care of you, most sweetly... She even baked you some gingerbread happy faces, and seems to be trying to help you cheer up and feel better.

So lads, time to spin this to our advantage!

"Hey, Elizabeth? Why don't you just look into this disease? C..." You take as large of a breath as you can...

"Ren... Do you mean Chrysoula?"

"Yes."

Elizabeth thinks, and looks like she would want to argue with you over this... But she sighs.

"Well... I suppose it would help you, love..."

"It would."

She reluctantly decides to help you, and goes to get Chrysoula.

Chrysoula comes to help you while Elizabeth tries to figure out what's going on...

"So uh... You look sort of sick."

"I am."

"...O-oh. Erh... Is it contagious?"

"...Maybe?"

She seems a bit worried.

"W-well, ok... I mean... W-well... Why don't we watch a movie while I try to think on how to make you feel better?"

"S... Sure."

"...Uh... Is it safe to grab you though?"

You shrug, as you try to breath... She carefully picks you up and rotates you to face the television.

"I-I uh... I think that show you like is on... H-hey, would you b-be ok if I touched you a bit?"

"...W... What do you mean..."

"J-just so I don't worry..."

She slightly rubs your head, and clearly seems to be worried about you, and she sits next to you on the couch, easily adding plenty of weight to it, slightly tipping it. Slightly.

So of course, in order to get comfortable, you have to lay on her lap while she kinda squeezes into the middle... It's comfortable, and Chrysoula seems to try her best to make you comfortable and happy.

"S-so... I-I uh.... I don't think my dad has noticed yet... He's still sick though."

"I... I can barely talk..."

"O-oh! Yeah, s-s-sorry Ren..."

She rubs you a bit.

"I-I just want to say that your cute in your human form too, alright?"

You feel a bit uncomfortable on the pillows, and Chrysoula of course, puts her arm behind your head so you have a bit of a cushion... Her arm is really soft, honestly.

"S-so... I-I guess we... Oh right. Well... I-I mean, if you want, I can just be quiet or talk to you... I-I don't want to annoy you or anything while Elizabeth does her thing..."

They thank you for the offer though, and you can't help but feel a bit disappointed. They're positively adorable, especially with them pretending to be Romans... Aww.

Of course, it takes a moment for Legate Auraxius to come out and talk to you, while you pat the kobolds on their head.

"What are you doing?" He says to you, quite confused... Until you pat him sweetly on the head.

"Oh, nothing, nothing. I was just hoping if you have any information about this disease my dear husband seems to have come down with."

"O-Oh, right... What were we talking about again?" He says, as you continue headpatting him...

After a bit of explanation, he tells you that this is apparently the "Red Throat" which is a biological weapon by the Gnomes... Apparently it's meant to slowly suffocate whoever has contracted the disease, and that eventually it clears up, and is extremely contagious, being spread via indirect touch and is airborne... It usually clears up after a month, but only one in four kobolds actually survive, and usually have a breathing problem if they do.

He also mentions this is one of the "less terrifying" biological weapons the Gnomes tend to use, and that a few rare ingredients can in fact counter-act the disease... Carbonated beverages, available only to the Imperial Family due to it's scarcity, citrus which is extremely expensive, and warm cocoa... And finally, warm cow milk and plenty of it, though he does mention that it's scarce due to famine below ground and that dirt and grass is hard to extract at times.

He mentions that the surface does in fact have plenty of this, much to his surprise.

Actions

>Thank the Legate for his time.
>Why, all of those are quite common on the surface... Maybe you should give the Legate a gift to his afflicted men to help them? (The kobolds will learn the surface holds some rare materials they lack underground, but will greatly like this.)
>...You know, maybe you should work some of your "magic" so to speak and offer to help take care of his men. These ingredients are quite common, though he shouldn't really need to know that... (Try to convince the kobolds to let you help take care of their sick. If successful, their opinion of you will greatly increase and think of you as a great healer.)

Work our magic and try to get a trade deal for fruits and carbonated beverages(We have soda mead right?) to the kobolds.

Gwynevere has healing magic right?
>>

Her breath is healing.

Roll me a 1d20+6 to see if you can capitalize on the moment.

+3 if your maternal nature can only get even more severe and do something extremely maternal towards the legate.
+3 if you can maybe use your assets a bit.
+2 if you can offer them a great deal, and mention how well their Empire will prosper with having fresh fruits and carbonated beverages.
+1 if you can come up with excuses for your maternal behavior for the legate.
+1 if you can think about how to sweetly help Ren with his terrible disease!

If everything's done, it's an autosuccess.

Give the legate a belly rub and coo at him
>Aww it's such a shame you all are suffering like this.
Put our hand on our chest right on our heart.
>It absolutely breaks my heart. I think I can help you there. I'd say for a nice 40 million a month we can assure you fruits and carbonated beverages so your people never have to suffer from this illness nor a lack of nutrition. It'll make your people healthier, happier, and brighter.

>I'm sorry if my behavior is disconcerting but I absolutely cannot bear watching people in such a state like this.

All we have to do is cook him. Keep him in bed and cook him food with fruits ,dairies and some soda mead and he'll be in top shape in no time
>>
>>1311292
Try being even more maternal and using your assets more. And maybe try to make the deal a bit more fair, because 40$ million is very, very unlikely
>>
>>1311308
25 million then.

Hold him close rock him slowly and sing him a lullaby while we slowly pat him on the head and boop his nose.

Gotta remember they lack all the necessities us surface worlders have.

We also need to work with other nations regarding the kobolds plans to expand.
Ren should really get around to telling liz that.

Can't let their empire stabilize because if it does we can't take over
>>
>>1311339
I think something like 10 million or possibly even less would be more likely. The new offer isn't even half of the old one and that itself would have very unlikely chance to succeed.
>>
You of course, give the legate a sweet belly-rub and can't help but hold him close and sing him a sweet lullaby, and finish off by booping his nose.

His men can't help but laugh at this a bit, and he seems quite embarrased.

"It's such a shame you all suffer from a lack of healthy foods... It breaks my heart, but I think I can help you out... For a nice twenty-five million a month, I can assure you fruits, and plenty of carbonated beverages, so your people will never have to suffer from illness or a lack of nutrition... Your people will be healthier, happier, and brighter..."

"W-well... I-I'm not sure about 25 million... Does 12 million work? And can you let me go? Please?"

You think the Legate wants his men to respect him, and he sadly thinks his men won't if he's treated like a child...

Poor thing.

The legate seems a bit vulnerable to being embarrassed or ashamed in front of his men.

They don't have any sort of fruits?

To be 100% honest it seems alot of the main characters we play have autism.
>>
>>1311710
Its because main players here consistently make choices that follow a certain pattern until they do stuff that's abnormal like treating a military commander like a baby or fondling a minotaur with people issues.
>>
To be fair, anons made Liz Very Maternal, then their bonuses are this.

And I'd like to remind anons that just because it's a bonus doesn't mean it's a trap, and tend to reinforce the character's attitude.

tl;dr: I put the blame on anons

Anyways, if anons want to try and be less autistic and still get the bonus, then find things to do that are maternal but not fucking autistic.
>>
>>1312260
>I put the blame on anons.
Everything you say just tells me we should grind stats and magic otherwise shit'll be a pain.

Anyways we could just talk to the legate about children.
>>
>>1312317
Grinding isn't necessarily the way to go.

As in, I'll force you to do other things once in a while.

If you want bonuses naturally without grinding forever, try to get competent and important people to like you, serve you, or try to have someone else do it.

And if you want Elizabeth to stop being autistically parental, then talk to her about it.

You of course, talk to the legate some more about your darling children, and give everyone a big crushing hug.

"You'd all be so adorable as little servants... Now, what about that deal, little kobolds?"

"Si-sixteen million, alright? And can you stop?"

You think... It might be worth it.

Come on Liz, you have assets. You can get a better deal!

Can you stop with this?

Well, can you stop with the maternal attitude? Choose one, being sexy or being a bore.

...Hey, come on. Everyone likes me far more when I'm being caring, sweet, and a good parental figure.

Ah. Was that the part where you tried to get Svana to become your daughter?

...I'd rather have her think she has bonds to this family. I know how she and Ren can argue.

So your pretending to be retarded...

Oh shush it you. You just want to show off and make fun of other women.

Well, because it's fun, because we can, and because why not? Most women envy us anyways.

So why don't we try to get along with them? You know this whole maternal attitude was suggested by you!

As a joke! Now your acting like a soccer mom to practically everyone! It was fine when it was just the kids, but I think treating others like children is a bit far.

God, I hate having another head.

Wow, thanks. You know Ren probably thinks this is weird, you know. The whole "let's act like a parent to everyone so they'll love us" shmick. Besides, he didn't marry you so you can become a soccer mom!

Well... He married me because I was pregnant, to be specific...

Right, you get so worried he'll leave us for another woman that your practically becoming more lustful then him. Plenty of common sense.

Since I feel nice today, and anons think Liz is being autistic, I'll allow anons to do something I rarely do.

Actions

>You know what? This entire idea of being a mother is exhausting, embarrassing, and overwhelmingly foolish. You might as well just act normally. (Elizabeth will no longer be maternal save towards her children, and even then less then usual. Her Very Maternal and Maternal mutations will be refunded.)
>...You should really calm down... Gwynevere's right. You have been acting too odd towards people... (Elizabeth's Very Maternal Mutation will be refunded, and anons can choose a different one.)

Elizabeth's shapeshifting has upgraded!

She can now be in a kobold form, a minotaur form, and a centaur form if she finds one, and a werewolf form. She can transform into most humanoid things so long as she can look at them, basically.

You feel a bit less motherly... And just feel a bit... Different, so to speak.

Huh. Weird.

Of course, the legate seems extremely embarrassed as his men can't help but laugh at him...

Actions

>Try to push further in the deal.

+3 if you can be sweet to the kobolds and try to find ways to heal the Red Throat.
+2 if you can mention who's helping them... And why maybe they should like you a bit...

Great Success!

Your healing breath kicks in, and they feel quite lively and rejuvenated... Their swollen necks seem to relax, and they overwhelmingly seem to be recovering much faster, especially with the warm beverages you provide them.

The Legate's opinion of you has improved, and Rome likes you a bit more.

Of course, you say your goodbyes, and head back to care for Renexizious, knowing how to solve this...

Renexizious seems miserable, and even Chrysoula's throat seems a bit sore. Chrysoula doesn't seem to suffer anything besides that.

Roll me a 1d20+6 to see if you can heal Renexizious as well!

+3 if you can be sweet towards Chrysoula and Renexizious, and try to find a way to make them comfortable while you help them.
+2 if you can show off your new forms to Renexizious, and be quite curious.
+1 if you can also use your assets for your husband.

Borderline Failure!

You of course, come in, and can't help but show off your new forms... They're quite exotic... You have a small kobold form, which... Well, your quite large still for a kobold, being about 4'9'. Huh.

You shift to your minotaur form... And are erh... Well, rather surprised. You seem to be almost as tall as Chrysoula, only two feet smaller then her... And you in fact, do have bigger breasts then her in this form, making Gwynevere quite happy.

Your next form is of course, your yuan-ti form... And you are rather large, even then... Being a nice 10'5'. And quite long as well... Huh.

It's a... Very interesting form honestly.

You of course, try to heal Ren, and he seems recovered a bit... Chrysoula seems much better however... But it doesn't seem like Ren's recovered much.

Of course, that's where excessive amounts of hot chocolate, citrus, and carbonation come in to clear this right up...

And that's where I'm ending tonight anon. I'll post the new thread up and then head to sleep.
