My name is Mary.

I own and operate a dungeon.

This wasn’t a deliberate choice, mind you. I was forced into this when the previous owner placed a curse on me after I tried to get him to pony up the money he owed my boss. Now I'm the ruler of this place and my boss fired me for having two jobs. So I’m stuck here for the foreseeable future.

At least there’s a spa...

Right now I’ve turned in after a long day of dealing with adventurers, and sponsorships for the dungeon.

The Archiver confirms most of what you guys said. Though she adds that they're basically normal adventurers who never stop adventuring, so they tend to be super strong and have a lot of skills and special equipment.

Also they have a tendency to just take anything that's laying around or ignore the damage they do in fights.

We and they should be ready for it. In the meantime, business as usual, but ratchet up the HP and difficulty. We still need more detail on how they fight before we can really get things tailored well.

So apparently since SPs are so strong most adventurers have a bit of a grudge against them. Or they just want to fight them. Either way when Raid SP Mode is engaged we can temporarily hire available adventurers to add to the dungeon as mobs. They lose nothing if they die, but if they win and the dungeon wins they get paid.

We're out of gold though. We'll have to convince people who'd want to fight SPs for a cut of the loot from the SPs or who just want to fight, period.

Also, it's still 4AM. There's only one hero on the radar... I can try calling others but it'll take time for them to arrive and I might need to wait for them to wake up.

Should I change anything in the labyrinth before they go in. Right now it's just got wandering explodeys in it and oil everywhere.

I always thought people were exaggerating about people who fall for phone scams, but here we are. We didn't even have to haggle.

The Warrior is summoned. After this dungeon run her memories will be altered by the SP Mode to reflect the proper world view.

I'm having Demo try and call Golem and Psion but they haven't answered so far.

"Yeah, most adventurers won't get up until at least dawn. I was just up to max my gains!" the warrior tells you.

Should I dispatch her to the labyrinth now? She has friendly fire disabled so nothing in our dungeon will hurt her too badly.

Not that that's slowing the SPs down. Larromage appears to be casting some kind of channeled spell that grants them fire immunity. If we can disrupt it they should get burned!

Alright, the Psion says she'll come down just as soon as she gets done telling her hat polisher where to send the hat when it's done being polished. She's not going to charge us for the "color commentary." She's never actually fought an SP before though.

Try and get a Royal Slime Jelly(the slime transformation potion Bulk Mage used against Curi) to Bulk mage, or to Warrior when she respawns.
If you can get one to Bulk Mage, try and convince him to fuse with Monk Slime and let him pilot the resulting fusion.

If Psion thinks she can counter her need for a helmet by fusing with multiple psionic slimes since they don't need one, give her a Royal Jelly and have her fuse with multiple psionic slimes.

Apparently Lambknight still wanted to do "So you think you can slime" but Larromage felt they should come back after levelling. Larromage won the argument, they left a diamond worth 50kG in the tip jar and they teleported back to wherever they came from," Archiver explains.

"Okay. What happened to the diamond?"

"Well after most of the supporting walls were destroyed the dungeon was dangerously close to just collapsing in on itself, so we-"

"We?"

"Dungeoneer made the executive decision to hawk the diamond and make emergency repairs."

"Which cost?"

"The entire value of the diamond minus enough to buy a cup of coffee and a hot cocoa."

Mary nods.

"I'm going back to bed. Get into the records from today and delete them. If anyone ever speaks of this day or mentions the words Silent Protagonist to me again they are fired."

"Um, what about the people we hired."

"Pay them, mindwipe them, and send them home. Standard contract termination. Is the wizard still fused with the slime?"

"No, he respawned normally."

"Good. Good night, Archiver."
