New players are always welcome!

In this quest you assume the role of an aspiring student who is about to enter the Mageknight Academy. You must hone your skills, make some friends (and perhaps also some enemies) and fight battles in order to prove yourself worthy of graduating as a fully fledged Mageknight! Each year (every 100th turn) your character will be tested by the academy to see if your character is progressing well and meeting the Academy's high standards. After the 3rd year your character will head off into a their first mission for a final test.

How to Join:
New players must fill out their character sheets. The sheet must include the following information:
>Anyone can join at any time. Latecomers and laggers are given bonus action points to catch up with the other players.
1) Your character's full name
2) Your character's backstory, appearance and any other useful information.
3) You are given 3 Skill Points. Choose 1 starting spell and 2 other skills or spells.

How to Play:
1) Each turn you will be given 2 [Action Points]. Post your character sheet and your chosen actions along with a 2d100 roll.
>Normally your roll must pass the [Difficulty Challenge] of 25 in order to succeed.
>Getting a 10 and below is a [Critical Failure] while 91 and above is a [Critical Success]
2) All players must wait for the "TURN GO" post before submitting any actions posts. After which you must post your actions only to that post.
3) After all actions are processed and a new turn begins, update your character sheet.

Acquiring and Improving Spells & Skills:
1) Study, research, explore, train or take classes to discover and learn new spells.
2) Training an already learned spell or skill will raise it further to the next tier once enough [Progress Points] are accumulated.
4) The progress threshold is based on the Fibonacci sequence (1,2,3,5,8,...)
>Usually Spell and Skill tiers are named as Basic => Intermediate => Advanced => Expert => Master
>Alternatively you can label the tiers as T1, T2, T3 and so on.

Spellcrafting:
Spellcrafting involves fusing spells with various skills, knowledge and even other spells that your character has learned together creating a new spell or skill.
>The name of the resulting new spell will be determined by the QM. By default it will be "Cast A B C..."
>Your dice roll will affect the result of the spellcrafting. Lower rolls will result in weaker or negative version of the intended spell and vice versa.

Social Interactions:
1) Role playing with other players is a free action. Role playing with NPCs, however, will cost an action point to do so.
2) Collaborative Player-to-Player actions like trading, tutoring and PvP, will cost an action point to do so.

Combat:
1) Post 2 actions like you normally would. Your opponent will roll their own 2 actions.
2) To defeat your opponent, you must overcome their defensive or evasion roll and vice versa
>If you have not rolled an evasion or defensive roll then your opponent must pass normal DC to hit you and vice versa.
>If both combatants attacked successfully then it's a Double KO.
>If both combatants defended successfully then it's a Stalemate.

Currently there is yet another Ice Horse running around causing mayhem. So far it’s merely caused some minor property damage. Eye witness statements report the creature has already begun suffering from the heat and will most likely perish on it’s own soon, and as such do not feel the need to get involved. They are however curious as to where these creatures keep coming from.

Getting so tired so quickly in your last round of training with Jeneven has shown you a glaring weakness. One you aim to shore up. Finding the girl of not so many words isn’t hard, at least not compared to getting her to so more than a handful of words in an entire conversation. When you do find her, you see her stretching out those long, strong legs. Dem legs. When you ask what she’s up to, she says she’s going for a run to build work on Stamina. What luck. When asked if you could tag along, she merely shrugs, “I can’t stop you.” Taking that as the closest thing to a yes you’re gonna get, you stretch out, trying to emulate the girl as much as you can. Being as tough as she is, she must know what she’s doing, so copying her might be a good idea. Both of you limbered up, she takes off with little warning. She clearly isn’t meaning to run fast, but with legs as long as hers, she doesn’t have to. Doing your best to keep up, you’re already running yourself out trying to match her pace. She seems to notice you gasping for air, and slows her stride, falling back to you. “Pace yourself. Don’t try to match my pace. I’ve been doing this longer than you.” That is true. If you tried matching her in, well, anything, she’d run circles around you. “A common mistake for beginners is trying to be like someone else. Then when they don’t immediately make those goals, they lose motivation and quit. Don’t be me, be you.” That’s all she says before picking her pace up again. Huh, she’s probably said more in these few minutes then since you first met her. But she is right. Slowing your pace, you just continue your jog with occasionally Jeneven lapping you. It must be nice having such long legs.

After you’ve ran as far as you can, you plop your butt down on a bench, and just try to breath. Wew, that was a workout. You jogged half the day away, and you can barely move. Meanwhile, Jenven just keeps going, looking like she just started. No gasping for air, no sweating. You might be a little jealous. After passing you on the bench a few more times, she slows down on her next approach, “You done?” she asks. Yeah, you tell her. “Not bad for a beginner. Keep it up.” She starts to take off again, but you intercept her, asking her how long she’s been doing this. “Whole life. Father is a trained kickboxer, and he started training me as soon as I could walk. Mother was a marathon runner. She taught me to run about the same time she taught me to walk. She likes to joke that I learned to walk before I learned to crawl.” Wow, no wonder she’s so good. Again, starting to move, you get up. Maybe you could talk more if you ran a little with her? Before you fully stand, she pushes you back down. “You’re still tired. Go rest. Pushing yourself too much is more detrimental to your training than helpful.” You don’t have the strength to argue. Hell, just getting up that first time was hard enough. Accepting the situation, you just get comfortable. Seeing you deciding to stay put, and nothing else to say, she takes off again.

Where to start. Sketchy people know sketchy things, so you decide to go look for some low lifes to talk to. Wandering around campus, you see a depressed looking dude sitting by himself against a wall. He doesn’t seem to notice/care as you approach him, and you ask him what's his deal. “Oh, you're talkin to me? Nothin much. I do not feel very accomplished in this sad pathetic life of mine.”
Ok, weirdo found. You ask him if he has heard anything about a group called the hole in the wall gang. “Oh I know them, their leader is a dude named Jason, every now and then he comes to me to buy some psycho. He’s not like the other soulless bottom feeders that torment me. Hey, ya wanna buy some skull cap?”

Together with Katherine and Aria, you use the key to go to your own training dimension. While in there, you play tag with them. it was fun until it was Aria’s turn to be it. She came at you with a bit too much force in her tag. Due to the increased gravity you fall hard, straight on your face. “Tag, you're it” she says with glee .Katherine rushes over to help you up, and gasps when she looks at you. Your face is bloody from your nose being broken, and you can feel a tooth missing. Katherine rushes you to the clinic right then and there.

The teach now goes over different firing stances:Standing, Crouched, and Prone. Standing is somewhat less accurate and gives enemies a larger target, but it has the benefit of being able to move more quickly. Prone is the exact opposite. There’s less of you to shoot at and you’re typically able to hold your weapon more steady, but it’ll take you a few moments longer to get up and move in the event that you need to move for whatever reason. And sometimes every second can be the difference between living and dying. Last is Crouched. It would fall somewhere in between the two. The stance allows for decent additional stability, shows less of a profile than standing, and can move quicker than being Prone.

Heading out to the gun range, perhaps it would be a good time to join a shooting club? Get some extra advice from more skilled shooters when the instructor isn’t around. Asking a few of the familiar faces on the range, you learn there is a group who gathers occasionally, but they aren’t part of an official club. While they themselves don’t call themselves anything, most just refer to them as the Shooting Club. If you want to join, you can ask just about anyone who frequents the shooting range when the next meet up is and show up, since there isn’t any admission needed.

After your last mishap with trying to create a new spell, you give it another go. Experimenting with your Inner Darkness, Planar, and Spatial Theory, you try coming up with something new. You close your eyes and focus. Focus. Focus. You’re not sure if you’re making progress, so you open your eyes and see… nothing. Absolute blackness is all that greets you. But that’s not all. You can’t see it, but you can feel it. Something’s here. Watching you. Waiting for an opportunity to strike. You try casting any kind of Light spell you can, but nothing you have can penetrate the blackness. You feel the presence drawing closer as your panic begins to rise. It senses weakness, an opportunity to strike. You want out. You NEED out. Using your knowledge of Planar and Spatial magic, you cast a spell, and leave this horrible place. A split second later, you’re back. No impenetrable darkness. No hostile presence. Just your room back at the school. What a horrifying experience. That was a scary, and dangerous place, but perhaps it could serve some use? The only downside is if you send someone there, it means going yourself as well.

Getting your mom’s and sister’s approval was never going to be the hard part, it was always going to be your dad. He’s a good guy, but he’s very strict about tradition in the family. Getting the three ladies together, you try coming up with someway for him to approve of Helia. And there’s only one thing you and your family can think of: She has to prove herself in combat. That’s the only way for your father to accept her. Deciding it’d be best to have your sister fight her, you arrange for your mother to ref the match. “Very well. But remember your sister can’t hold back. If she gives any less than her all your father won’t accept the outcome, and he won’t accept the result of any future duel he didn’t personally oversee.” Nodding, you tell her you understand. You tell Helia of what you’ve planned, and she can only accept it as well. “It’s not as though I really have any other choice, right? Your father is set in his ways, and he has a strong conviction towards his family’s customs and traditions. It’s either prove myself. Or that’s it, I suppose. All I have to do is beat your little sister, right? “ Your sister can’t hold her laughter back from that last statement. “I’m sorry, Helia, I like you and all, but I’m not going to take it easy on you. If you’ve ever fought my brother and thought he was an even match, I’ve got bad news for you: I’m much better.” You mother interrupts before your sister starts puffing herself up even more, “That’s enough. We’ll have the fight within the week. Both of you rest up, you’ll want to be at your best. And Aine, I trust you won’t try tilting the scales.” Your mother is being uncharacteristically serious. Just goes to show what a serious matter this is, but then again anything that remotely involves father usually is.

Adal lets out a deep sigh looking at the courtyard ahead of him. Not knowing where the girl lived or even what her name was doesn't help the feeling of doom that prevails through the young lad. Nonetheless Adal hovers at the edge of the entryway wary of being ambushed. Not that it matters much considering how vicious the senior felt to him, still Adal had to keep moving forward else he might as well have just stayed at home reading about adventures instead of actually trying to live one!
So with a heavy heart Adal takes one step, then another, and another before he soon strides into the center of the courtyard where a small fountain bubbles away happily at odds ends with Adal's mood. Adjusting his longsword Adal sits down on the edge of the fountain forgoing the use of the nearby benches and simply sits there. Waiting. To try to settle his nerves Adal closes his eyes and tries to think of nothing remembering reading about some mysticism thing of the East that mentioned try to find your center through mindless thought.


From the other end of the courtyard, the woman whose name the young man still didn't know entered. "Huh, so the little cocksock got the nerve to fight me after all? Thought you'd run off to suck your mother's tit like a little bitch. Guess you must be a masochist huh? That what turns you on, a girl beating the shit out of you? Pathetic! Don't worry though, I'll try to make it quick so you don't enjoy it as much. Just try not to jizz all over yourself." The woman draws her sword, not even taking a proper stance. She must think nothing of her opponent. "Just to show what a nice girl I can be, I'll even let you attack first. At least then you can say you at least got a swing in. Now, COME!"

BATTLE START

At hearing the girl's voice and opening his eyes to take in the rather liberal dress uniform Adal stands up from his seat brushing his pants off. "Well...there is one thing I'd like to say before we even start." With that Adal unbuckles the belt around his waist and casts of his sword letting it clatter to the ground with a clang. Bowing down to one knee Adal lets his head bow down as he says, "I am sorry for the wrong I did you. If you must have retribution on me then do so quickly. I had thought I could get strong to at least give you some challenge, but I know I can't. So do with me as you will Miss, I most likely deserve it in your eyes." Adal waits then bracing himself for the pain that was to come.

The woman lowers her sword, caught off guard by Adal's words, before laughing it up. "Huh? You really are a pathetic little masochist, aren't you? You want me to beat the shit out you? THAT'S FINE WITH ME!" Sheathing her sword the woman takes her time walking over towards the boy, enjoying what's to come more than a person should. When she stands over him, a sadistic grin covering her face, she speaks up, "If you wanna scream and cry, go right ahead. It just makes it all the more enjoyable for me." Not wasting another moment, she plants her knee directly into his face and forcing him to the ground. Kneeling down atop of him, she begins to just pummel away at him with her armored fists. Each blow is devastating. It only takes a few blows before Adal shows sign of blacking out. "Awww, out of juice already? You'll never please a lady if you run out of steam that quick, you two pump chump! Or maybe you just prefer being a little bitch for others to have their way with?" Laughing, she pulls Adal's head up off the ground, and pulls her arm back for the final blow. "Next time, try to last a little longer, I barely even got started." And with that, she brings her fist down with tremendous force, driving Adal's head into the ground, and ending the fight.

Adal wakes up later in the infirmary, with his wounds healed, aside from his aching head. The nurse notices him wake, "Not many people would just let Aila wail on them like that, young man. She isn't known for being nice or gentle. What exactly were you thinking?"

Throughout the entire beat down Adal merely lets out a grunt from the initial kick and then has to use every bit of his will to not cry out lest he give her satisfaction. Though a few whimpers manage to break past despite his best attempts the young man stares up at the girl and merely gives her a punch drunk grin in response which might have been the final straw as her words to him are slurred and fuzzy before blessed darkness takes over for him.

Upon awakening Adal grimaces at the pain still lingering despite the rather advanced healing of the infirmary ward. Holding a hand to his head Adal simply replies, "And how exactly would I have stopped her? I've just arrived here and already some senior wants to beat me who's had more training, more experience and just damn near everything else stacked against me. At least this way, this way I can say I choose how I conducted myself." Slowly Adal starts to sit up letting his legs swing free and over the bed itself before looking around, "I don't suppose anyone grabbed my sword afterwards?"

"Yes, we have all your belongings in storage. They'll be returned when you're discharged. You've mostly recovered, but we'd like to keep you here overnight, just in case. Aila didn't exactly treat your head gently, so we want to make sure there's no lasting damage, though from all the tests you'll most likely be fine. As for what you could have done? You could have told a teacher. There are rules against upperclassmen forcing younger students into fights. And since you accepted and showed up on your own accord, there isn't much we can do to her except tell her not to do it again."

"Oh great, so either choice is a pitfall tell the teachers and be considered a snitch and nark by my peers and upperclassmen or get my butt handed to me by an upper classman, decisions decisions." Adal remarks sarcastically before stretching out with a satisfying back pop and laying back down instead. "I don't mind staying over night I suppose, do you have anything i can do in the meantime to pass the time? I'd been working on some passive spells, but only been able to get the one to work, you don't mind if I do that here do you?"

"I doubt anyone would blame a new freshmen for trying to get out of fighting a 2nd year, even moreso if that 2nd year is Aila. There aren't even that many 2nd years who'd willingly choose to fight her if they could at all help it. And no, sorry. You're her to rest, and that means no working or studying. Just sit back and take a breather. After what happened today, I think you earned it."

Adal sighs before covering his face with his arms as he lays back at the nurse's insistence, "Well, alright then thank you Miss...?"

"Olivia. I'm the nurse here. And don't worry about anything other than getting better."


"Nice to meet you Olivia, I'm Adal though I suppose my records kind of already introduced me and thanks I'll try to at least." With that Adal leans back and tries to sooth the pounding headache as he tries to recover faster.

-Zav continued with schedule from the past few days, the same self taught training of his spirit reserves. After some time of time training, he begins to wonder what will happen when he reaches a certain point in his training, this type of training is not about blasting walls or dominating the enemy, for what he start to notice this is about the "cultivation" of the spirit of the being, in both literal sense and in the poetic sense.
-The spirit is like a plant, if this plant grows in a corrupt soil full of evil and corruption this same plant can grow to be a monstrosity to all the forest. The same thing can happen the other way around, germinating in a pure soil this plant may one day turn a glorious oak. This applies to the spirit too and for what the young knight may noticed, corruption maybe something pretty common in the heart of mage and in the soul of the knight. And with this analogy he continues to train his pla-... spirit reserves.

With Aria by your side, you head out to find this horse. The both of you search the campus for signs of it, and you find a trail of ice. Following it leads into the woods right next to school. With dense trees and bushes it’s hard to track the frozen steps while staying on guard. Out of nowhere the giant horse charges at you ramming you with all of its strength. It begins to stomp violently on you and Aria flies into the air to not get caught in the attack. She summons a spear and dives at the horse, managing to to slash its hide. The beast runs away wounded, as Aria comes to check on you. Picking you up, she takes you to the clinic. Once there nurse Olivia get’s to working on your broken body. You have a shattered spine, five broken ribs, and a dislocated left shoulder, but thankfully your head didn’t get trampled so you don’t have a concussion. The doctors and nurses did the best they could by putting you in a brace and resetting the bones, but you are going to need to stay in their care for a while before you are fully recovered.

Hoping that your magic theory teacher isn’t too mad at you, you go to apologize to him. You apologizing to him, and it really isn’t a big deal. “As long as you learn on your own, you don’t need to always come to class.” he explains. You then ask him what your magical affinity might be. He goes on a long boring rant talking about the complexities of everyone and how they have to find out their own skills, then he talks about some technical jargon about every student's magical potential. Listening to him ramble on must be causing more harm than good, because by the time he’s done talking you have a massive headache. Too many big words, too little time.

After some time you come across the ice horse standing in a clearing. You slowly approach and notice it has a gash down it’s side that looks recent. After all the crazy shenagins that had gone on through out the whole week Adal is quite ready to just sleep the day away. Though there is just too much to do for now at least, after all Mercy more likely than not probably already forgot about Adal already.

After the visit to the horse It might be a good idea to try to work on that passive spell a bit more, maybe now that the pressure isn't on him now he'll be able to explore what other neat things he can come up with his passive. Channeling the [Wrath of the Wendigo] into [Frigid Defense] Adal focuses on working through how the spell interweaves with his body, maybe he might be able to handle the cold, but what if there was a way to make others slowed by the sheer cold?

There are no breaks on the campaign trail. Gathering up your crew from the Drama Club, you all head out and gather support for the future elections. It’s quite early, but Eliza isn’t an easy opponent, and you’ll need all the advantage you can get. You first stop is the Courtyard, where most everyone passes at some point in the day. Someone had a fun idea of putting on a skit, an overly exaggerated ‘battle’ between you and Eliza. Straws were drawn on who had to play Eliza, since no one wanted to volunteer. Wistan ‘won’. The group couldn’t help having a little light laughter at his expense. Compared to Eliza’s small stature, he was a big guy. Even without comparing the two he was pretty big. He was also her polar opposite in pretty much every other way as well. Biting the bullet and playing the villain’s role, as he had sworn to accept the results of the draw and he was a man of his word, he practiced getting into character. It was odd, really. He seemed to get into character really easily. Maybe because he had the same though, that since the two were completely different, all he had to do was act in the exact opposite manner he normally did? Or was it a “know thy enemy” thing? He hated her so much that he learned as much as he could about her? Oh well, doesn’t really matter you suppose. On with the play! Since everyone was drawing lots for Eliza, it was decided for fairness everyone would draw for roles. Somehow you lost the draw to play yourself. Leia won that. You ended up as Lawrence, with Alia playing various minor characters. Setting up, with permission from the staff, a crowd starts gathering at your impromptu theatre. The play opens with ‘Eliza’ conspiring with some random mook, Alia. Wistan gave an eerily good smug grin, though it paled to the original. “See, I’m a reasonable person. You do me a favor, and I’ll forget all about these photos you had of the girls’ changing room. It would be bad if the girls found out you had these before the staff did, wouldn’t it? Especially this one of Aila, whatever would she think? More importantly, what could you do to stop her?” The ‘mook’ shudders. Either because Alia is really into character, or maybe she knows her sister too well. Maybe a mix of both. Either way, the ‘mook’ accepts, and heads off stage. You follow the instructions they gave you, and enter after the mook. For your part, you probably oversell it. You grovel and ‘Eliza’s’ feet.

“Yes, my pet. Love me, fear me, do as I say and be my slave.” ‘She’ says. Professing your everything to ‘her’, she beams that smug, sinister grin she’s (in)famous for. “Good, my pet. Now, I need you to dig your nose into other people’s business because I have absolutely nothing better to do!” Once more grovelling and professing yourself to ‘her’, you exit the stage as well. Following that comes Leia acting as you. ‘Zoot’ approaches ‘Eliza’, a big dopey grin on ‘his’ face. Looking Eliza dead in the face, Leia gives her first and probably best line. “Dude, Weed. Let’s chill and be friends.” and blows some fake smoke right in Eliza’s… chest. That part couldn’t really be helped. Wistan is just too big for Leia, to be fair even you wouldn’t have been tall enough, to reach his face. Going with the show, he at least pretends she blew it in his face. *cough cough* “Yes, that is some nice weed you have there. It’d be a shame if something happened to it.” On cue, Alia comes in, dressed as Helia from the Disciplinary Committee. “STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM! NO ONE BREAKS THE LAW ON MY WATCH!” ‘Helia then takes all your weed away, which is played by grass freshly pulled of the lawn. ‘Zoot’ doesn’t take it well, “KHAAAAAAAAN!, I mean, *clears throat and takes a deep breath* ELIIIIIIIIIZZAAAAAAAA!” ‘Eliza’ then cackles sinisterly. It really is eerie how well Wistan plays Eliza. Being carted off stage by the fuzz, Eliza then picks up a box labeled ‘Elections’ and opens the contents onto herself, as if it were raining. Grabbing a few she rubs them on her face, “Yes, and now no one can stop me from fulfilling my dream of knowing what everyone else is doing cause I have no life of my own!” And with that, the curtain drops, and the audience roars in applause as the actors take their bow. Seems they liked it, and you had a bit of fun yourself. The group holds the play several times over the next two weeks, much to the amusement of the crowds. You hear people in the halls and courtyard talking about you and your group’s performance. There’s no business like show business.

You go to class over at the gun range for lessons. The instructor teaches you the pros and cons of dual wielding. The obvious pro is have two weapons means having more ammo, and the ability to fire at multiple enemies at once, even if they come from opposite directions. The downside, however, is accuracy. A dual wielder on average will never be as accurate as a person handling a single firearm, due to being able to hold it with both hands for better stability. The combined recoil from two weapons will always cause some some fluctuation in aim. Reloading can also be a pain, as trying to insert a new magazine with both hands full can be a bit tricky. Another problem is ambidexterity. Most people are only skilled with one hand, so learning to handle with their other requires becoming accustomed to using it as well as their dominant. Me, I'd like to master swordfighting, become the best I can be in it. Maybe then, I can even equal my classmates... It feels kind of bad, sometimes, knowing that with their magic, all of my classmates would probably be able to beat me, but I can't do anything about it except get even better, huh? I'm probably going to start deeply training right away, after visiting my parents.

Learning that principle Katherine was away on a meeting when you walk to her office, you decide to go to the park and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Sitting down on a bench, the cool spring breeze flows across your face. You fall asleep on the bench because you’re so comfy. The pitter patter of raindrops on you wakes you up. Ah shucks it’s starting to rain, damn unpredictable spring weather. You start heading back to your dorm without an umbrella. As the rain comes down harder and bigger, you rush faster to get home. Right outside your door, fumbling to get your keys out and drop them on the ground. “Damn keys” you mumble. Picking them up, you stick them in the lock and ‘CRAAAAAAAAAAACK’. Waking up in the infirmary, you scream from the pain throughout your whole body. Nurse Olivia comes over to you to trying and calm you down. After things settle down, she explains that you got struck by lightning, and you have 3rd degree burns all across your torso and arms. When you were opening your front door with your keys, lightning struck you and surged through your arm and the door into the ground. A passing student witnessed the event and brought you to the clinic. Thankfully you did not go into cardiac arrest, but the burns all over your body were bad and your hair was singed from the strike. She says that you’re free to go but you shouldn’t do any intensive activities while your body heals.

Taking a spot at the base of the massive tree facing away from the school, you lie down and close eyes, and just drift off to sleep. A good nap can do wonders.

You ask him if the ‘bus’ that hit you has been caught yet. “Oh just the other day a student brought in the ice horse that’s been roaming around. Sadly I still haven’t figured out where they have been coming from.” he explains. The two of you then spend time talking about random things. That’s when you ask him about task force Zeta. “Katherine must have told you about that.” he said a bit surprised. “Yea back then, I was naive. Task force Zeta was a team of six people lead by Katherine, and I was the team's scout. Being the one who could get in and get information from people was the riskiest job, but someone had to do it.” he explains. “Katherine was of course the tactician, and the strongest person in the group, so she told us what to do. The others… they were great people, i’ll leave it at that.” he then moved the subject to security work he’s been doing. After a while you both run out of things to say, and Cornelius leaves to do some security work.

Studying would be great… but that cool new game “Mage of Duty” came out today and you spend the next few days playing it instead of studying. It was pretty great getting to round 100 on the ghosts and ghouls mode, and on multiplayer you got a tactical EXPLOSION!!!!!! after wrecking a bunch of noobs with your target finding spells.

Probably would be best to meet up near the school entrance and make the hike up to the cave from there. And of course I know how the blessing bit works you just dip the blade in the holy water and bam antighost weapon besides it can't be anyworse than a thermonuclear device strapped to my back or something crazy like that! Let's meet at around 2 in teh afternoon gives us plenty of time to get there and back not in the dark so we don't get in trouble is all.
