And just like that, you are given a precious gift. In the blink on an eye you instantly comprehend the concept of yourself, A larger picture is drawn in your head and you finally are able to see the world in a new light. You are able to think past simple Eat, Sleep, Repeat.

Though only a small dose of this mindscape has been given to you you are able to instantly see you are not alone. A team, no... More of a pack of your kind is waddling around you...

They are doing as you once did... Nothing. Lumbering around waiting for life to run its course. Life has been well for you as you recall. A strong Myconid, an alpha amongst your kind.

The jungle around you is dark, damp and quiet. Though not for long. As you survey your environment with fresh eyes, your brothers glow with the light of wisdom as you had. Something clicks in them all and they stand to do as you had and take a good look at this vast new world.
...
...
...
Three months later
...
Your small band of brothers has worked tirelessly in constructing a makeshift town. The basics of what you call society and the building blocks of civilization are at your hands.

Hut building
Basic tools.
Map making
Wood working
Until now your people have been to busy creating a safe sphere of control to really think about what else is out there for your people. You are singled out as the Alpha of your newborn tribe and given the task of making this new world the best it can be for your kind. Good luck.

-------------------------------
This is your chance to build the world in the way you want. You may do as you wish to evolve your species. Your followers have drawn a crude map of what they recall from the days before.

You may build explore and think as you please to make the best empire possible. But be warned, you are not alone.

Since your endowment you have noticed that the forest around you is turning dense and shroomlike. Just the way you like it, the soil nutritious and wet. The jungles around your forest provide a wonderful source of wood for your small population.

Buildings are small wooden huts. They are all your peepole have had time to make in your short time as intelligent life.

The days before the event seem like a far off memory. You never recalled how your people came to be. When a shroom died it just, appeared again soon after. Perhaps something about the soil? Seems like a fitting thing to look into.

The units of shrooms you sent to the south-east have learned of a... non-forest? Surely nothing would be stupid enough to live out in the sun. However there is a peculiar item found toward the base of the mountains. A stick with an oddly shaped rock on the end of it. They wonder what this weird thing is and how it got there. Better for them to bring it back to the village.

[green] Pickaxe Discovered [green/]

The shrooms charged with improving the tools of your people are not having the same progress sadly. Without much to add to the tools the creation of more durable tools is slow going.

The vast fields of the south are a confusing sight for these creatures whom have never stepped foot from their forest home. Rather than continue on the unit turns around and heads home.

Your leader has had occasional questions regarding your people. Where did we come from, "How was I made?"

He has witnessed the sexual rituals of the wildlife and scoured the bodies of his kin and himself. Nothing that was even similar to those biological pieces were seen anywhere on the body of any of your kind. Though as he was looking through the forest near the village he observed the rotting body of a wild animal. Laying in the open cavity of its body was a young shroomian baby.

"From death are we born?"

Your chief thought this the case until coming back into your village. Another one of your people struggles for your attention and leads you to a far away tree. Beneath it another child is growing from the dirt. No body or anything. Odd you think. Though the ground here is rich in nutrients. Perhaps the nutrients are tied in with this?
---

The scouts sent to explore the south have found a nice trail along the coast of this great water. It from the beaches they look far down the coast. A wonderful jungle is just waiting to be seen.

The way back to the village is a quick one though something was off. As your men were walking through the jungle of the west on the way back home they stumbled upon tracks. No native creature you know of has feet like this.

---

The item brought back to the village is being tested by what you call a scientist. Though all it is really doing is swinging the item around. Wait, did he just chip that rock with the pickaxe? Our wood can't do that!

>Research better tools.

The young ones are brought into your society. But when you went back out and looked closely you found several other children growing. Mostly in the decaying bodies of the local wildlife. Without a place to house them you were left with only one choice. A nursery.

Several mud pens have been created in a nice dark damp wooden shack. You aren't sure how long it takes for your kind to develop but with that much nutritious soil, it cannot be long.

>10 Shroom men - 10 shroom infants.

---

This jungle is wonderful! Lush and full of life, and more nutrients than you could ever hope to absorb. Though one thing is present that your kind avoids like the plague. The eastern grassland is an awful bright hellhole. Upon surveying this new section of grassland you see an odd sight. Dirt. Different from the grass, this dirt is dry and had many tracks in it. Though nothing else is in sight. Your men venture out to investigate this dirt. Nothing highly unusual about it. But your men report that after being in the sun for an extended period they began to feel weird. But shortly after returning to the forest this cleared up.

---

EUREKA WE DID IT! After months of research your 'scientist' has figured out a way to fuse the wood of the jungle with the... Scarce number of rocks in this forest. Simple enough, use vines and sap and allow them to merge the two together and this masterpiece is ready!

You begin looking into how the voices in your head are coming about. You have a shroom stand at 100 yards and try to send your thoughts to him. He shrugs in consusion. You move closer 50 yards. A whisper but hardly any sound. Finally at 40 yards you can hear him talk. Though its not through telepathy, you deduce it is in fact your Spores!

Your spores are able to convey the ideas to other shroommen. You try this on other forms of life as well. The results are... mixed. Some simply look at you, some retreat, and some charge. Luckly nobody is harmed.

The watchtower is completed in the center of town. Around 3 stories high and constructed to hold around two shroom people. If all goes well this will be the building block for a nice defensive line around your village. The shroom villagers set a man to watch over the town. No word yet on anything suspicious.

Back in the days of ignorance you remember you did kill. Though you didn't eat. What primal instinct was it that had you kill for no reason? Perhaps observation of these primal shroom children will give you answers.

A small hunt is put together and the bodies of several animals are recovered. You set a log down in the nursery hut, throw the bodies to the children and observe. They don't eat. Just kinda snuggle up against the bodies.

The shrooms of your village look to you as their leader. When you asked for a nice hut to plan the affairs of the village, nobody could be happier than them to oblige. The shroom men took your newly created Stone tools and head out to gather a surplus of stone and wood for the hut of the village leader. When it's finished it will be a gigantic four room hut with stone walls, Double layered wooden roof, the most nutritious soil around with a large attached room for town meetings and the like.

Not to mention a great place to defend from anything that may get into the village.

>Chiefs Hut.

You continue to watch over the children. Day after day you check in on them. Every day they get bigger and stronger, after nearly a month of 'feeding' the small shroom children no bigger than the common 'Swamp Rat' have grown into nearly fully evolved shroom people.

During your observation one of this new generation approaches you. You receive a message via his Spores. "Hello...?"

You teach and listen to the children, whom have learned words through spores floating into the hut. "Chief... We, ready." the strongest of the children tells you.

The new generation is introduced into shroom society. Quickly adapting to the grand scheme of things and finding their place in your society.

The foragers have returned. Bringing with them the bounty of stone from the western mountains and the sturdiest of wood from the strongest trees their little stone axes can cut. Groundwork for the hut has been completed and soon you will have a fortified town hall. Strongest in the village.

---

Sure your tools are good for gathering resources and defending from the small threats, but what if a bigger animal were to appear? The word has begun to spread about the things in the western wood as well. This only fuels the flames of fear. Your scientist comes up with a genius revolution in defense. He takes a long branch and files the end to a point. Strong enough to fend away anything that may attack... Hopefully

Tech Discovered: Basic Spears

The western wood problem is beginning to frighten your villagers. It's time to investigate! A ragtag band of your bravest shrooms volunteer to explore this new region of the forest.

Heading west from the village the three venture into the new sector. They search high and low for what this mystery may have been to no avail. Your men are just about to give up looking when they see a light amongst the night. Through the dense jungle they see... Dancing red light? Surrounding this light are several large leaf tents similar to your wooden huts but weaker. Something is here but your men see nobody

Your shroom Scouts creep closer to the light. Careful not to arouse any suspicion. After another hour of observation the situation remains the same. Empty huts remain empty as the light begins to die. Looking past the clearing emerging from the water are several figures. These figures look to be frogs, but no frog your kind has ever seen have been this big, or able to walk upright. The creatures numbering in the dozen area make some croaking sounds toward each other and all retire to their own shack. Your men return with word of these beings to the chief.

Civ Discovered: Bullywugs

---

The construction proceeds smoothly. Dirt is used to hold the rocks together and seems to work pretty well. The walls hold strong from anything short of a fullspeed tackle. The roof has also been reinforced to keep the little creatures from nibbling on your head while you sleep.

From now on there is a place to quickly organize any immediate action and to hear the concerns of the villagers.
---

Your men have taken notice of their surroundings. This section of forest is different from the rest in that it is actually mushroom foliage. Could this have something to do with your residence here? Maybe? You send a few of your men to walk around in the jungle outside your town.

No word yet as to what if anything is happening.

"Hey chief. Come here for a minute." you hear in your head. It's the scientist.

You go to his hut and look around at all the weird wooden constructions around the hut.

"Check this out" You hear.

Scientist grabs a vine and pulls. Behind it is a large sheet of wood resting on the ground. Atop the wood is more stone than even three shroomies could carry. He informs you he went to the mountains to test the invention. It's a success!

One thing though. It tends to get stuck in mud pretty easily and will break if their is to much weight on it. Otherwise its ready for use starting immediately.

The work on the walls continues as the first pieces of spiked wood are being planted around the village. A member of your collection team comes to you one day with important news. The area in which you have been cutting down the jungle for your wood needs around the village seems to be running low on jungle trees and in the place where jungle once stood, shrooms are growing. They are small now but soon they will blossom into a perfect home for your future generations.

Your villagers have seemingly mastered basic communication betwixt themselves. Work is getting done at a much better pace. Though you can't help but think that there must be a way to furthur your communication goals. You focus in on sending strong signals through your spores but seemingly nothing happens. A good deal of time later a villager comes bursting into the town hall

"Trouble? What... wrong?"

He informs you he was on a walk around the village and felt you struggling to reach someone and came running.

It seems the harder you focus the farther away your thoughts travel. He tells you he was around 3 hexes away when he heard your call.

---

Your people are getting grogier by the day and tend to be much more prone to staying in their huts than actually working. They tell you they just can't feel motivated to do anything besides what you ask of them as chief. They tell you everything started becoming like this around the time the heat left.

For now the only thing you can think of to do is add extra protection to local housing against the elements and hope this plague of cold ends soon.

The scientist is at it again. He comes to you one day with a crazy idea. "Chief, it's cold up here. What about down here, do you think?" Scientist says stomping his foot on the ground.

Scientist has never led you astray before, you decide to hear him out. What's the worst that could happen?

"I'll only need a few things..." You hear him tell.

"Rocks... Wood... Time..."

Whatever project he has in mind must surely be a large one and one that may benefit the whole city as he is constructing an additional wing to the town hall to house his project.

Level B1
>(1/4)

---

Scientist is busy for the time being... You are struggling to come up with ideas on how to stay warm in your every day life. You call a town meeting with anyone with ideas on how to be warm.

Three villagers come to you and offer you ideas. The first is a shroom from the scouting party many moons ago. He tells you of the frog men and the leaves they wore over their bodies. "Look warm... Yes."

Second is yet another of the scouting party shrooms. "Frog people... Dancing heat." He tells you of a warm light the frog men were in possession of. "We... Get?"

Dealing with others may be... Difficult. Your numbers are to small to take. Or are they? You could ask nicely? But could they hear? You get a headache and move on to the third. A weird shroom.

"Ask... Yes..."

"Ask who? Ask what?"

"Ask forest for warm... Give. Yes. Look, look."

The weird shroom produces an odd flower from within his cap.

"Feel, feel... Forest give. Yes."

You put your hands around the flower and your cupped hands are relieved of the bitter cold. Only slightly but your hands are free of cold and free of weakness. The shroom returns the flower to his cap.

These are some very interesting options to take into account.

---

The wall is finally finished. A two shroom high wall is constructed around the entire village. A single opening is left for the entrance and exit and the watchtower looks over the entire surrounding forest. The fit is snug to say the least, but a little close quarters is a cheap price to pay for safety.

"Come... Come... Forest tell me go."

You and a team of villagers follow the odd shroom deep into the forest. To a section you have never been before. Everything cold and dark, much like your village. But the shroom continues on almost unaware of the cold.

"Almost... Almost, Chief."

Your little squad mocking the shroom while you walk. But soon they are dumbstruck by a stupefying sight. Between two trees the forest is bright. Your men look around from the other sides of the two trees and the exact same location is dark and cold still. Only between these two trees is it possible to see this sight. Between these two trees is an open field, the very same flower of warmth is blooming in abundance across the opening.

Your men have a hard time doing their jobs as they simply start to forget the reason they came there. But, your willpower is strong. You power through and smack some sense into the others and continue collecting as many as your party can fit in your caps.

Your team wanders around the area a good bit. Seeing the sights and wondering how this is possible. The shroom deepest in the area calls for you.

You soon arrive to what looks to be a broken building. But not as you know them. This building is supported by the whitest stone, floored by a shimmering red stone. A hole in the ceiling allowing in a ray of sunlight to shine upon a small pillar in the center of the room.

Atop the small pillar is an odd item. It seems to be made of a golden rock and spiderweb strings woven through it. As you approach the item the odd shroom bows his head and forces his cap to the floor.

"The forest... Gift... Yes... Chief..."

>Free action: What will you do.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scientists work continues. The project is nearing completion. Now several shrooms choose to put off the nutritious nighttime soil instead working around the clock to finish this project as fast as possible for the village as a whole.

---

Your Villagers are... Hesitant. Staying at the mountain for more than the bare minimal time is almost a death wish for them. With your Chief not around the villagers decide to not listen to the current second in command. The Scientist. Rather they just bring the needed amount of stone and refuse to stay and collect surplus.

With the Scientist and Chief still incapable of working on this effort the normal shroom people begin trying to see if their is a less messy way of doing this. A shroom villager has a great idea. He bravely heads into the freezing forest and retrives a common large leaf from a far off tree and brings several back, along with some vines. The shroom folds in his cap and rips a small hole in the leaf. Inserts his head into the hole and lets loose his cap. He then ties the wildly swinging leaf to his body with the vines he collected.

"Better. Yes. Warmer. But still cold."

Here and ready to go
>>
You step forward to take the item. The odd shroom stops you.

"Chief... Thank forest... Yes?"

That seems reasonable. You do get this cool thing and the items to save your villagers form the cold. So you follow the Odd shrooms lead and take a knee. Lowering your cap. Though not as low as the odd one. The hole in the roof breaks!

There is seemingly no reason for the break, however this allows the rays of the Sun to shine upon you. Normally direct sunlight is a bad thing for shroom men. But not this. Whatever this sun is shining upon you makes you feel. Perfect. Not since your initial day of intelligence have you felt this powerful.

Taking this as a sign the odd shroom talks. "Yes... Good... Get..."

You step up and take the item. With your cap full of glow flowers your mission is complete and you leave. Leaving the odd place behind.

---

The walk back home is pleasant. The warm of the several glowflowers keeping your entire body warm. This is exactly what you needed. On the way back to the village you think of a way to show off the flowers in a grand way.

You take some vines and some surplus glowflowers and try to merge them. Soon enough, Eureka! You are able to make a little bracelet to show the glowflower on your arm. You create 20 of these for your villagers and upon arrival they immediately wear them.

All the extra glow flowers have been distributed to the huts

---
After passing out the bracelets to all but one, the last one in need comes to you. Scientist!

"Chief... Done! Come. Come see!"

And so you do. To the town hall, the new room is a large one with a big slab of wood in the center.

"Keep warm in... Yes."

Scientist lifts the wood and a rush of warm air hits you. A large hole in the ground is before you. Scientist urges you inside first. "Whoa!"

Beneath the town hall about twenty feet is a cave. Easily the size of half the size of the town. Shrooms cuddled up against the mounds of fresh dirt transplanted from the land above. The only empty place in the room is around a large wood and stone pillar in the center of the room.

"Chief... This stay... Or else."

Scientist tells you if that beam is removed the entire room will implode.

Warm Sanctuary created
During times of cold any shroom in desperate need may rest and recover from the cold here.
A moral booster in the cold times.
>>
Without skipping a beat the scientist is at you with another proposal!

"Chief... Sled no fold extra. Need to hold. Look"

Scientist points to a pile of extra wooden beams that have begin to rot. "Rot good... Wood not." He says taking a piece of wood and snapping it in half. "I make good?"

You check off scientists request and he heads to his hut to work on whatever thing he is thinking he can make to hold the extra resources.

Pot Time
>(1/2)

---

Event!

You feel a slight shaking from beneath while relaxing in your section of the chief/town hall hut. "No no no! No hole!"

you rush to the hole and go down to your sanctuary. "Fall?!" You feel it again. A shaking. But this time it's from a wall. "What... This?"

You watch the shaking wall for a minute and soon something pops out.

"Ayy, Lmao! Where is this? We are still underground right?"

"Dunno, can't see? Who that?"

The creatures hop down from the hole and feel around your feet. "Mushroom? No, it moves?"

"You need to stop eating the salts. Shrooms no move."

"What are these creatures! What are they doing?"

"Oi, brother. You ear that?"

"No?"

"budda, there is nobody ere!" mole2

"I said shut it!"mole1

It looks like only one of them can hear your 'voice'. "Mole man you say? Yes? Why here? What do?"

The moleman describes to your people the concept of trade. His brother soon comes to believe in you when he feels you move himself, but cannot hear your spores. As the moles continue to talk about what they are and what the do, you also partake. Telling them about yourself. Soon they say the golden words.

"Would you like to trade?"

After listing and showing some of your items they make you a list of what they can do.

Your Items: 3stone, 40 Glowflowers, 5stone axe, 5 stone pick.

Offers.
>30 Glowflower- Bow/Arrow tech
>5 Glowflowers- A 'book' from the south

>Golden item- 3 molemen slaves.

>Extra action: First contact, Trade
---

While you are talking to the molemen in your quarters a shroomie reminds you of the giant hole in the wall where the moleman came through. Scientist says another situation like that and the support may not hold. That can't happen.

You order the mushroom men to reinforce the cave. They are... Reluctant. The weather has changed for the worst and now going outside for to long is painful. But the Chief knows best... The shroom men venture out into the Freezing jungle in search of stone and wood.

Reinforce the warm cave
>(1/5)
Weather conditions are slowing down progress of gathering resources.

---

Scientist completes his project. This new thing dubbed a 'pot' is pretty much just dry mud in a box shape. It hold much or look good but it can cold extra resources and easily transport resources over distances. That is, if it doesn't break...

>Basic containers created

---

You talk with the Molemen, in your talk you mention the Golden item you found a little while ago and present it to them. They are interested and make additional offers.

When the day comes to an end the molemen hop back in their hole and promise to be back tomorrow.

If other races want it it must be interesting. But the only thing is seems capable of is creating a pleasant sounding melody when you pluck the strings. You don't know if their is any other effect but as of now. That is it.

Scientist sits next to you as you flip through the pages of the book. Many small symbols that you guys can't make heads or tails of. Even scientist is baffled by the symbols. But it is a good learning experience for the scientific aids.

It is not for nothing however. The book is full of images that covey the idea of the book and what may be going on. But you can't really figure out what those small things with pickaxes are. Besides that it has a picture list of special rocks of all different colors and depiction of the dancing light from the scouts as well.

But without knowing the meaning of the symbols the book is rather useless.

With everyone in the town hall you decide this is a good time to get the opinions on the state of things from them. You go around to the villagers and hear their wishes, complements and arguments. Here are your findings
>Praises
#1- Evolution of the village. Things involving building projects makes your people feel safe.
#2- Quick solutions. When faced with problems you quickly solve them. "Thank you for the glowflowers"

>Issues
#1- Asking to gather resources in the cold has made a few of the shrooms slighlt angry with you. All is forgiven soon.
#2- The odd shroom is a bit upset you aren't doing more to give thanks to the forest.

Overall your people are very happy with your rule.
---

You think back to your earlier life before the endowment with intellect. You recall your birth long ago, you recall the hiding and waiting you did during the cold season. You take this information and the information gathered from other villagers to develop a makeshift Calender. Your having a hard time remembering the exacts but the times of warm and cold are coming back to you.

How much longer
>(1/2)Seasonal calender
---

In your spare time between talking to villagers and your calender you have let the Scientist take and learn more about the gift of the forest.

"Chief... Chief... watch."

The scientist takes the item and begins to run his hand across the strings. He seems to have learned how to make lovely noise with it. But not only that. As he plays the fallen white around him begins to fade. The ground beneth him begins to grow grass and flowers in the spot. Not only that, as if by an act of nature a beam of sunlight begins shining upon him. You look up and the Mushroom trees themselves have allowed the passage of light.

The Odd shroom appears and asks for the item. He tries this process as well. Though this time the effects are much stronger. The light brighter and the land beneth him goes so far as to grow a single glowflower.

You decide to try as well. The sound is horrid as you have no idea how to make the sound. Nothing happens.

It seems skill is required to bring forth the effects of the item.

The oddshroom has voiced a slight anger with you regarding the forest and the sun. He tells you that the forces of nature are fickle beings. They would not hesitate to bring on a even stronger coldfront if they become unhappy. As of now the forces seem pretty happy with you in general but who knows how quickly that could change.

You are a little skeptical. But now that the coldest part is over, gathering resources as tribute will probably be within reason. Should you choose to. Odd shroom tells you that the better the tribute the more favorably you will be treated. But 'cheaping out' or lack of tribute may result in a loss of favor.

Odd shroom walks off into the forest to do god knows, leaving you with that bit of information. If you choose to believe it or not that is.

---

Now that the worst of nature is over you are fairly confident that your man can go out and gather in minimal risk. Just to be sure you give each of them an additional glowflower for added warmth.

The shroom gatherers take a few sleds and head out for a large collection from the mountain.

With the cold all but gone your villagers are happy to leave the town hall. They can finally stretch their caps and explore the newly bornagain jungle. You as well enjoy a walk through the jungle. The forest is bustling with other creatures such as yourself that are sick of waiting. Many of the creatures out and eating fresh food. One of the most abundant food sources seems to be the less fortunate...

Animals that couldn't survive the cold have been preserved by the cold and are now being fed on by the carnivores of the forest.

You hear a ripping sound and sneak in to investigate. On the ground is a large stag, dead. Over the stag is one of the apex predators of your forest. Normally indifferent to your non-meat being he seems to not care as you watch.

You would be more than happy to leave. If it were not for one thing. Nustled up against the dead body of the stag is a lively baby shroom. He would normally be safe against the creature. But its eating is ravenous. Their is a chance the child may be hurt while creature eats.

As far as the baby shroom is concerned we should approach and attempt to communicate via spores, we're not food for them and they know that so try to send a simple message, of us collecting the baby and leaving

No beast in this jungle is interested in harming a shroomman. Or so you hope as you approach the beast. Disturbing one of the strongest beasts in the woods during a feeding is by no means the smartest thing you can do. But lucky the beast is to interested in eating to even take a vegetable into consideration. You creep up to the baby shroom. The creature eyes you as you slowly retrieve the child. As long as you don't eat any it should be fine... Right?

You pick the child up and back away slowly from the location and flee back to the village.

"Chief! Chief! Look"

A villager leads you to the nursery. It's full to the brim with babyshrooms! About 14 of them in total. Yours making it 15. They seem very uncomfortable in this small area. Not enough nutrients to be given to each (15/10 Nursery space!)

The extra shrooms are moved to the cave, They won't get enough nutrients to grow but at least some will.

---

The construction of the alter is complete. Next to the watchtower in the center of town is now a small shrine of stone and wood. Flowers and glowflowers decorating it in a beautiful way.

The odd shroom tells you this will be a sufficient way to give thanks to the Forest and Sun.

>Alter completed
---

The work goes ahead of schedule on the warming cave! With the extra stone nearby and extra vigor of the shrooms the workload is completed early. The cave should now be able to take a bit of a beating should anything go wrong or any more molemen pop up.

Reinforce the warm cave!

Warming cave upgraded!

The sharp stick is nice and all but with the extra stone around the scientist shroom underlings think it a good idea to create a better version. Using the same methods that created the other stone tools the Shroom scientists fisee a jagged rock and a stick.

They create enough to outfit every shroom that doesn't have a tool already.

These little brats are getting a little annoying. The warming cave isn't much used these days as it is getting warmer but still. The shroom men have noted that they have almost stepped on the five infants multiple times.

This shouldn't be a problem. Therefore you order the nursery to be expanded in order to accommodate more children. When it is done it should be able to hold between 20 and thirty shroom children.

Again, your shrooms grab the sleds and head out to get more stone as they have already run out.

Shroom Boom!

You tell the Oddshroom he should seek assistants like the Scientist. He's not to thrilled on the idea. He knows nobody in the village would willingly study under a weirdo like him.

BUT! He has a suggestion. With the surplus of baby shrooms he suggests taking and raising one to be well intuned with the Forest and Sun. A child would also be a wonderful way of gaining favor from these forces the Shroom tells you.

You agree and give the Odd shroom one of the babies from the basement. Odd shroom bows to you and places his homes extra glowflower on the Sun alter.

Priest in training.
>(1/?) Passive-no need to work on this.

---

Only one of the molemen could hear you. Maybe other things can can hear you? You and a team head into the jungle once more to search for small creatures in which to communicate with. A few small animals scurry away before your spores can reach. By a few I mean a lot. The Giant Jungle rat, Lesser Snek, and Spotted Zap Toad all evade you.

You are forced to settle with one of the worst creatures in the forest. The Lesser Acid slug... a creature that survives on vegetation. Non-sentient vegetation hopefully. It's smell is repulsive even to you a creature with no sense of smell. Around the size of the common stump and slower than the rocks your men mine this nasty little bugger is the only thing you can find.

Upon approach the Slug fires a form of acid and hits one of your men, melting one of his arms and his stone spear. Before any more incidents happen you manage to subdue the creature and send your spores to it.

It doesn't seem to react other than the obvious struggling to get free.

You keep trying on more of them. Nothing. The last slug however is slightly different. Rather than struggle after the spores hit it seems to look confused. But only one of the dozen or so slugs you attacked acted differently.

Upon returning to the village your injured shroom sits in the warming chamber. He hasn't been seen in a few days.

I'm doing to direct that to my suggestions box. Or to the assistant QM. I forget passwords to easily to make a twatter.

But seriously though, if he makes the thing and keeps it running thatll be good. I'll ask later.

We got a discord channel. Just direct yourself to #Drachtma_Quests and we also give information on update times and shitposting there.
