Sorry its a bit late, after noone responded for an hour, got quite tired, and slept. Nevermind, I'll post these throughout the next couple of days, that seems to work better
>>
>>1392834
I say we chop the monster up and bring the pieces back to camp.

As for research, I think we should take a look at the local plants, see if there is either some plants we can domesticate or maybe some mind-altering plants to start the beginnings of religion.
>>
>>1392834 #
we really need to create furnaces otherwise we're wasting an awful lot of copper. that and they are really useful
>>1392869 #
I 'd rather we skin the beast before we chop it up.

Also gm are you absolutely certain about that pop growth? of course I don't know the time of each turn.
>>
>>1393021
I suppose we could. I wasn't sure if we could skin a giant bug, but I imagine it's doable.
>>
>>1392869
Im not sure why we are all so obsessed with the monster. It is a threat eliminated, now we can go about exploiting our victory. No need to drag it along with us. I doubt we would know what to do with the thing anyway.

I suggest we scout out the rest of the cave this thing was in (maybe it has a nest, best kill before hatching).
For research we should improve our building tech somehow, make our presence here even more permanent.
>>
>>1392869
>>1393021
So stip it of his exoskeleton and just take the Chitin

As good as finding fantasy hemp and starting religion sounds, I think we build should a furnace first.

>>1393174
One reason why I at least want it is that it's Chitin can be used for something like shields, ecspecially if it's harder then common wood around us. Just imagine if we could find more of these and domesticate them. We'd have a constant source of meat and armor.
>>
>>1393179

>>
>>1393179
I agree with the furnace idea, but stand by exploring the cave. The potential danger, treasure, resources and the fact that this could function as a new home makes it to valuable to be left unexplored.

Also, what do we need to change to get our pop up? Civ status?
>>

Questions, however, I can answer

>Pop
Increasing pop growth can require actions from new food sources and research into upgrading existing sources, to cultural changes

Reaching milestones in the whole of the Civ's expanse upgrades the Civ status. Think of the growth of a possible real life village, and go from there.

Fleshing out this idea for the gods, also supporting the female priestess.

God of war (battle, destruction, courage, justice, perseverance, achievement, rage, propaganda)
Color- Red with dark strip down back, and yellow eyes.
Gender- Male
What pisses him off- running from battle, idleness, selfishness
What dose not piss him off- battle with courage (defeat or victory), blood oaths, weapons
Rivalry with god of nature

God of nature: (peace, growth, fertility, safety, mercy, aceptance, death, cheesy inspirational posters)
Coloring- green and blue, with yellow eyes
Gender- female
What pisses her off- not much she is fairly chill. Still gets mad at pointless (in her mind) death, things not taking their natural course.
What she likes- baby's, jungles, peace, growth
Rivaled with the god of war

God of order: much more enigmatic than the other two. has three eyes but they are all closed. it (genderless) mediates between the other two and has great patience with their eternal bickering. It dose however like buildings and monuments to be erected, so that the mortals may not forget their heavenly overseers.
Keep in mind that the lizards need not know all this, they may uncover the true nature of the gods over time.
