The Raiders – Part 14While telepathy and psychic power are a fact of life among your species, the githyanki have forsaken those techniques that control, dominate, or otherwise master another's mind. It is both abhorrent and illicit, though technically not truly forbidden. The illusionists are the closest thing that the githyanki have to mind-benders and dominators, and it is accepted that the strong willed can break the hold such a one has over the mind. As a result, psychic chirurgery is a rarity, and those who can perform it are watched most carefully by other githyanki. Accidents are common among those who delve too deeply into such techniques. With the deadly murderer Tzanzi looming over you after you, with the help of the illusionist Yashi and the ifrit slave Rana Najla you have just finished rebuilding you delicate and interesting slave's mind from scratch, after nearly wiping out any trace of personality, intellect, or ego. It will take time for her to recover, but the effect should be to restore her broken, nearly insane mind to a semblance of normality. That you had to use the power of the Elder githyanki, immense and forbidden power that you possess in secret, is something the others might not be aware of, though Yashi seems to suspect something more was at work.Especially given that the serpent-folk wearing human flesh that is your slave Cyrillian should have been utterly immune to most of what you and Yashi and Rana did to her mind. A quality she shares with the enigmatic and famous Tzanzi, whose expression is largely unreadable at the moment. Rana is looking up at the tall woman in fascination, the half mask that covers the left side of Tzanzi's face a creation of your own and glistening in the strange were-lights of your cell. Yashi is watching with intense interest – no, closer to desperate interest as Tzanzi looks down at you. She is dressed in simple leathers, a chamois tunic, loose in the sleeves and at the throat, and tight breeches that give her muscular legs perfect and alluring definition. Her good eye is narrowed, the muscles for her missing left eye not capable of such fine manipulation of the glass eye that replaces it (also your work, and some of your finest). She is bare footed, and unarmed, but then again, Tzanzi is never truly unarmed. She is githyanki, so dangerous is a given. Dismiss Rana and Yashi, have them take Cyrillian away while you speak with Tzanzi. Ask Siobhan for a little help in guessing what Tzanzi might be thinking. Stand up and take Tzanzi aside and let Yashi and Rana finish tending your slave. Wait and see what – if anything – Tzanzi does or says. Write in?

>>1396870> Ask Siobhan for a little help in guessing what Tzanzi might be thinking.> Wait and see what – if anything – Tzanzi does or says.I'm in favor of standing up, but not going beyond that.I feel like assuming we'd need to have this conversation in private without her making the first move could kind of start things off on a bad note maybe? Also, hi XS!
>>1396870> Ask Siobhan for a little help in guessing what Tzanzi might be thinking.> Stand up and take Tzanzi aside and let Yashi and Rana finish tending your slave.
Hi XS! How are you?>>1396870>Take an alluring, erotic pose, yet devoid of any submission>Wait and see
[X] Ask Siobhan for a little help in guessing what Tzanzi might be thinking.[x] Wait and see what – if anything – Tzanzi does or says.[X] Write in? You are her Leader, and need not explain yourself....but this is your friend. The afterglow of powerful magics done is not too dissimilar to that of energetic lovemaking, and you're feeling rather languid at the moment, despite any trepidation you may have at Tzanzi's reaction to what could easily be misconstrued as playing with Cyrillian's mind. Given that Tzanzi's time in the hands of the enemy has left deeper and more intractable scars than on most others of your race they have had in their clutches (and survived) her feelings on the matter of manipulating the minds of others, regardless of reasoning, might be equally intractable.Being wrong here could cost you quite dearly. So as you rise, you ask the one person, or thing, that could give you insight into Tzanzi's walled off mind for help. Siobhan, will I need to defend myself here? You know the mind of our lover better than aught. The plea for assistance is met with the mental purr of a content and pleased creature, the suggestion being that regardless of what Tzanzi may do, it will only arouse Siobhan. If I am incapacitated or dead, she will not have much use for you either, you must know.... Your mild rebuke is met with giggles and mental admonishment.Tzanzi studies your slave, sees her peacefully sleeping, though bound. Naked as well, of course, but that doesn't seem to interest her as much as the faint smile Cyrillian sports. “If I did not know you, Akko, I would say you have been indulging in a sort of game that many would presume the worst of,” she comments mildly, stepping close and slowly wrapping her hands about your elbows, her thumbs stroking the soft skin at the inside of each one. Her mild, calm voice doesn't necessarily give the lie to her statement, but it also hasn't faded much. Let her keep hold and play suggestively. Embrace her and distract her with your warmth. Move very close and ask her if she is threatening you, though politely. Pull her close to you and remind her who is in charge – unless she would rather take it? Write in?
>>1396976> Let her keep hold and play suggestively.Kind of feel like conveying a sentiment of>But you DO know me, better than all but two could presume to. In fact, I'm sure you can guess just what I've been up to this time.Like I don't know as close to gentle chiding as a Githyanki can come to without outright insult?
>>1396996Maybe not mention specifically the "better than all but two" part? Even if I'd definitely argue Siobhan takes precedence, and Yzia probably, it's not worth really bringing up?
>>1396976>Pull her close to you and remind her who is in charge – unless she would rather take it?
>>1396870>Especially given that the serpent-folk wearing human flesh that is your slave Cyrillian should have been utterly immune to most of what you and Yashi and Rana did to her mind....Shit, this counts as another Mythic Deed right?
>>1397037It is likely.
>>1396976> Move very close and ask her if she is threatening you, though politely
>>1396976>Pull her close to you>"I've only undone the damages life in the material plane and existence in the Astral have inflicted to Cyrillan, Tzanzi. Do you consider it an offense?"
>>1397125I think it's important to provide an explanation now, still
>>1397129I don't know, I feel like Tzanzi should have a solid enough grip on Akko's eccentricities to at least vaguely grasp why Akko would appear to do such a thing, so even though Tzanzi definitely is worth an explanation, it'd be a bit sad if she needed one? Also I'm not sure if that's what she's looking for.
[x] Move very close and ask her if she is threatening you, though politely.[X] Pull her close to you and remind her who is in charge – unless she would rather take it?[X] Let her keep hold and play suggestively.[X] Write in? It is nothing so wicked as others might suspect....do you suspect? With an arch smile at her suggestive and gentle threat that is less threat and more statement of fact, you lean into her gentle grasp, shivering at the sensation of her thumbs stroking your delicate flesh. Leaning into her a little more, you let your bare breasts brush her covered ones, the soft, warm leather she wears the hide of something large and animalistic. Not that she would be adverse to wearing sapient skins necessarily, it occurs to you. More likely something she hunted.“There are few who could claim to know me better, and they are all within this cell, Tzanzi,” you tease lightly, as Rana slowly and silently slips away. Well, glides backwards, towards Yzia at least; she's treating Tzanzi like she might treat a respected and very dangerous lord or master, which she is perfectly correct in doing. “My slaves, though mere slaves, deserve my best attentions, and nothing less than what they deserve of those, do you not know? I prefer my toys to be fine and unbroken....unless I am the one breaking them.”Tzanzi's eyes narrow a little, and she frowns, her mouth fully exposed by the cunning mask you gave her. Yashi continues to watch, her greedy, pale eyes drinking your interaction with your beloved friend a spectacle she is loathe to leave. Lifting your hands, you take hold of Tzanzi's hips and press yours to hers, crushing your breasts against hers, as her eyes widen ever so slightly. “And what of it? Would your punishment be direct, swift, and brutal? Would you leave to another what you yourself might prefer to have done upon my body?” Her breathing quickens, useless as it may be here.
When your hands slide along her soft yet firm backside, you make your fingers into claws and grip tightly, pressing her body into yours. “Should I resist?” You ask her softly, watching as you ignite the fires of her desire in that dark, beautiful gaze. The tightening of her grip makes you shiver, and you can't help but tremble at the power in those slender, long fingers and the sharpness of those nails which might be more like claws if she were physically a decade younger. She tilts her head and breathes across your ear. “Are you trying to incite my wrath, sweet Akko? You certainly excited my lusts with your hapless little victim before....” Her soft, heated whisper is anything but wrathful; her nipples are hard enough that you can feel them through the soft leather of her tunic, and her leather-encased thigh presses between your legs, spreading the heat of you along the supple skins, much to your delight. And if I am, darling? Yes, I am doing that very thing, except not with your fearsome wrath! Now, why in the Fundament would I do something that foolish.... Of course not. I want your body, not your wrath, Tzanzi. Write in?
>>1397147> And if I am, darling?
>QM side note: Among the original meanings of "darling" is "most favored minion".
>>1397148>And if I am, darling?
>>1397148> And if I am, darling?
>>1397148> Yes, I am doing that very thing, except not with your fearsome wrath!Could you please clarify this one a bit, because I'm having a little trouble parsing it. Does "that very thing" refer to "trying to incite my (Tzanzi's) wrath", or instead "excited my (Tzanzi's) lusts"?
>>1397184>Akko is saying she's definitely inciting something, and it isn't Tzanzi's wrath.
>>1397189Thank you, then I'm going with that one.
[X] And if I am, darling?Your heart, unneeded as it is, speeds up as Tzanzi presses her thigh harder into the softness between your legs, the clean, bare skin there rubbing almost painfully against the tight leather as she works your nether lips open. Pressing harder to assist her in that, you clutch at her derrière and look into her dark, warm eye, the other glittering strangely in the light as the glass bend and plays with the light as her living eye does not. You lift your face up a little, breathing heat along the other githyanki's cheek, her ear, well aware you have now attracted a much larger, much more attentive audience as you indulge in more serious play than you have yet with the others. Oh, certainly you've played, but with Tzanzi there is always....something more, some edge that the loving of others lacks. “And what of it if I am, darling Tzanzi, my darling, mine?” The singsong of your voice makes her shudder and her grip tightens a little more. One hand leave your arm and presses against your back, her nails digging into bare, clean skin, hard, very hard. She trembles, ever so slightly, her self control slowly waning as you tease her. Her other hand clenches painfully around your elbow, and she rolls her hips, dragging your soft flower along the slowly growing slickness leather that covers her thigh. You can't help but whimper a little. Her arm draws yours back, behind her and your knees go weak as she uses that leverage to grind her thigh into your sex harder.“You owe me,” she hisses, her voice a menacing whisper, a dark, heated threat. “I want what is mine, Akko,” The rasp of desire makes you shudder, and then she draws her nails down your back, hard, leaving dark lines of bruised indigo along your back, hurting you. The take it, if you dare, beloved! Bite her first, make her pay for the privilege in her own pain first. Please do, my darling, for our pleasure. You may take what you are owed, but know I will only call it a debt for myself later.... Write in?
>>1397220> The take it, if you dare, beloved!> Bite her first, make her pay for the privilege in her own pain first.
>>1397220> The take it, if you dare, beloved!...Part of me wonders if, really REALLY deep down, Akko considers it perhaps a bit of a silver lining that it is literally impossible to form a mating bond with Tzanzi? Not that Akko would ever be foolish enough to fall succomb to something as dangerous as "love" of course!
>>1397236Also wait, considering the special connotations of "love" for Githyanki, is "beloved' actually kind of an insult or not just simply a term of endearment?
>>1397220>"Do you want to do it as opening act, or as finale...?" Show her how eager for more you are. See if she has enough self-control for delayed, explosive satisfaction, or if she'll go at it intensely and constantly. Only the best pleasure and dilemma for your darling.>>1397236Akko is a huge romantic in denial.
>>1397220> Bite her first, make her pay for the privilege in her own pain first. How fun!
Awww man, I'm late for raiding.Things seem to be going well enough though.
[X] The take it, if you dare, beloved![x] Bite her first, make her pay for the privilege in her own pain first.Rather than do the same to her, you relax the hand clutching her derrière, and slowly slide relaxed fingers up her back. It confuses her – confuses almost everyone watching, you suspect – and the slowly rising fury in her voice and expression vanishes. You look up at her with a soft smile, your own eyes warm and gentle. She stares into your crimson eyes as you murmur softly, “If you truly desire it so, then you may take it, Tzanzi. First among many.”Her hand relaxes, her nails resting on your back, near your neck. She knows what she is supposed to be feeling, and she can't, she doesn't have the understanding to cope with what you have said, how you have acted. Schechei sees it instantly. Her “twin” does not, not yet. Falna stares at you like you've gone absolutely mad. Yzia's eyes are wide and shocked, while Rana is entranced, it's the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. Auena is asking, aloud, if you just declared your love for Tzanzi. Siobhan is growling in you mind, a hot, sweet song filled with promises and hope, freedom, if you are true to her, true to yourself. Akko? Yzia asks softly inside your mind, her voice terribly confused, almost afraid. Akko? Are you all right?WATCH.Your telepathic command rips through their brains, their bodies stiffening in shock and pain, the Ego Whip multiplied by five, Siobhan's link to your mind amplifying what should have been a power to affect only Yzia, a single person, into....a whirlwind of psychic energy, a force that invades [I]all their minds and lashes their sense of self apart and forces them as one to obey your single command. Tzanzi only looks confused, not hearing your command, not feeling the vicious lashes of telepathic energy driving her to obey, to watch, to follow you with their minds, hearts, their very lives. To be yous and to follow your Lead.YES AKKO.You bite her. You sink your spurs into Tzanzi's neck and bite her, tearing into her soft flesh. Magic erupts through your body, your aura exploding into a shattered rainbow that paints the Astral Plane for ten million minds around, a shockwave of power that brings everything and everyone in the entire Stronghold to their knees. Magic tears through you and into Tzanzi, her body stiffening in shock as you bite her, draw her blood. HURT her. And It feels like you gave her the first taste of real pleasure she's ever had in her entire life. Ruby and sapphire flames erupt from between you and engulfs everyone in the room.YOU ARE MINE. YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MINE. YOU ARE MINE TO COMMAND, TO OBEY. TO LIVE AND DIE FOR. TO LOVE AND DEFEND, TO CHERISH AND GUARD, TO BE MINE, ABOVE ALL OTHERS, AND TO OBEY ME AS I SEE FIT.”
>>1397352Well, that's quite the spectacle.
>>1397352Nope, looks like Beloved means exactly what I thought it meant. Ride Or Die protocols engaged, and Akko remains the Best At Melodrama.
>>1397375Also shit, did we just burn our bridges with Yzia? I... kind of really would have liked a clarification on what we were doing here, which is why I asked >>1397247 what exactly we were doing? I mean... that's really not fair to Yzia at all so I'm worried.
Tzanzi is crying, her eyes closed, her body trembling in your arms. Your spurs deep in her neck, your magic in her body, burning and trembling and desperate to escape your vicious hold on her neck. You feel her blood pumping slowly through her body, your body. She is yours, and she cannot sop you from taking her in any way you want. Your hand lightly caress her back, her derrière. You haven't removed her clothing and yet she's having an orgasm even as you nearly kill her.WE ATTEND. Malnae, Siobhan, and the Silver Sword you hid in your vault inform every githyanki in the Stronghold that you are now in command and that any who disobey will die. ....by the dead gods, akko....Her voice is a tiny thing in your mind. ....what have you done?....b][redI AM NOW THE SUPREME LEADER. I AM IN COMMAND.Everyone in your Cell, your Cadre, your warriors say as one, as if praying. “We hear and obey, Supreme Leader. We are yours to command. We live and die by your will alone. What will you have us do?” Even Kteine understands now. She is githyanki too. A Follower of Gith. Rana Njala is no longer a slave to anyone but you. She is yours to command. Your slave. Yustuoc has always been your slave. She loves you and hates you. Cyrillian's eyes open. She has always been your slave. She will obey no one but you. Mayune understood a long time ago. She will obey or die, and she will always love you. Write in?
>>1397388...I am confused and upset and kind of worried that we just triggered a bad end through improper use of pet names....On the OTHER hand, if we can properly capitalize on this, maybe things just got a lot easier?
>>1397385I think we may have made ourselves some sort of psionic supreme master. I have no fucking clue it's 4 am
well I'm going to bed, hopefully we didn't just trigger a bad end or mate with Falna. because honestly I liked Yzia much more
>>1397388Uh, well it seems our plans may have been somewhat hastened and derailed at this point. I'm not sure how exactly we're supposed to hide things from the rest of Gith society at this point. So maybe let's gather up the big shots and make sure nobody has any...problems with this new development?
>You may also chose from the following list. Finish Tzanzi lovingly. Not killing her, just making her pass out from exhaustion. >Yes, that means what you think it means. Give Tzanzi to your dragon to play with. Yzia would love a pretty new toy. Have Falna come here and kiss Tzanzi hand. Make sure she knows who is most important here.>She will love you and hate you forever. Ask Siobhan if she wants to play with Tzanzi now, like she has done before. Possess your lover and play with you.>Yes, that mans exactly what you think it means. Write in?
>>1397419I suppose we have the opportunity for more immediate action then.>[x] Give Tzanzi to your dragon to play with. Yzia would love a pretty new toy.
>>1397388>Can we broadcast a mental command to the Stronghold to tell everyone to get back to work, we've still got a Raid scheduled in... X amount of time units? Also if there's anything we can do to stop HER from learning of the stunt we pulled and, you know, destroying us, do that. Also if Yzia is feeling betrayed,>Approach Yzia, convey sentiment of, upon reflection, going on the run having a considerable amount of downsides, but ask her if she really thinks we could ever forget that she freely promised to leave this all behind and run with us even though she would have, if anything, gained status and power by not doing so? Princesses are only the beginning.
>>1397419> Finish Tzanzi lovingly. Not killing her, just making her pass out from exhaustion. What a big claim Akko asserted. Very draconic in spirit, hope Yzia approves. Also I'm amused at us anons only voting once the options appear. Truly out of our depth.
>>1397419...With those prompts, I'm kind of feeling greedy, I'd say > Finish Tzanzi lovingly. Not killing her, just making her pass out from exhaustion. > Give Tzanzi to your dragon to play with. Yzia would love a pretty new toy.and to a slightly lesser extent> Ask Siobhan if she wants to play with Tzanzi now, like she has done before. Possess your lover and play with you.all have merits (though the last one I'm worried about the Mythic Remnant thing appearing again)I guess I'm generally feeling>Bring the three women (gith, dragon, and sword) most precious to you together in as much pleasure as you can grant to both ensure smooth sailing early on and to bask/revel in how, at this moment, regardless of whatever else happens, how absoltely great it is to be you right now.
>>1397436>>1397419Also, considering the Yzia prompt, it... doens't seem likely that Akko has become monogamous, so.... that's nice.Side note: We're now Mythic 4, aren't we?
>>1397441If anything was gonna do it, this seems fairly likely.
>>1397436Like I don't know, I'm not currently upset right now, and instead a bit excited but I'm not sure if that's just because I've switched from one erronous reading of the scene to another? DOES it feel great to be Akko right now, or is her internal monologue an endless loop of "oh fuck"? Considering her character, I'm like... at least 80% sure it's the former but not 100%.
>>1397388>Go to Yzia. You want to know if this change anything for her, for the bond the two of you have. Yzia is not someone you want to lose.
>>1397450As the wise girl says, why don't we have both?
>>1397425Like... from what Akko described is typical for Githyanki mated pairs, they tend to kind of lose interest in anyone who isn't also mated to them, and I don't think it works cross-species, so if Akko and Tzanzi were mates in the traditional Githyanki sense, it wouldn't follow for her to give Tzanzi to Yzia to be thoroughly ravaged, and I'm... pretty sure that Akko at least reasonably believes that Yzia can play hard with Tzanzi in a way that won't get too ugly/heated so... at least Akko right now doesn't believe she's ruined things with Yzia and considering how high her brain-stats are, I'm inclined to trust her judgment.Though what Akko DID do with Tzanzi, I'm not sure.
>>1397419Adding to this>>1397454>Finish Tzanzi lovinglySo, does being a supreme leader means we cannot go on the raid anymore?
>>1397461Unclear. It could mean that we've gotta move the whole Stronghold away from prying eyes, it could mean that we've gotta kill Dunzamn as soon as possible, it could mean that for the purposes of the upcoming raid Dunzamn is still in charge due to prior promises we made taking precedent, or it could just mean that now we're the one who gets the biggest cut of the loot.
>>1397463Also... it COULD mean that any an all Silver Smiths on the Stronghold technically work for us, so that could really help in terms of magical destiny shit.
I hope Yzia makes love to Akko while calling her her treasure
>>1397468That is a nice thing to wish for, and I think it's possible, if not now, then eventually but it's hard for me to read >....by the dead gods, akko....>Her voice is a tiny thing in your mind.>....what have you done?....As solely about the super-flashy and impossible bullshit we just pulled and not Yzia feeling like Akko just snuffed the star that serves as her heart....I don't know, I'm enjoying myself but I'm also feeling tired and very out of my depth and I hope I'm not making it hard for everyone else to have fun with my worrying.
[X] Write in. Well, you seem to have caused a bit of a ruckus across the entirety of the astral plane. You've just mated with Tzanzi, healed her entirely – both eyes are flesh and blood, and she's utterly in love with you, you've just reconnected her mind to the githyanki. As if that wasn't bad enough, you've just declared yourself Supreme Leader, and all the Special Silver Swords in your entire stronghold said so. Which now includes Falna's, the one you took from the Leader you killed, and Siobhan. Every Knight and Leader associated with them is now under your command except those who worship HER as a Goddess and not you as their Supreme Leader – not a god, not a goddess, just the most powerful githyanki in existence. Gyr whispers in your mind, through Siobhan and through Tzanzi. I told you so. She's yours to command too, one of the other mythic githyanki, a shadow from the past.. One of the ones who escaped The Enemy. I warned you, but you thought I was just a ghost. No. I am yours to command, Supreme leader. I always have been.. Great, she's acknowledging you too. You really are in control of the githyanki. You Kiss Tzanzi deeply and slowly, and help her to her feet. You wave your hand and your slaves help your warriors get dressed and prepared for battle. Siobhan appears in your hands, and dresses you in crystalline silks as Yzia stares are you in awe.“There's an inquisition headed our way now and we need to leave.” Yzia is ready to follow you anywhere, and Tzanzi nods, ready to do as you say. Your dragon smiles, your power and hers mingled deeply. “May I take Tzanzi and kill them all?”…..uhhhh.....Siobhan giggles softly in your mind. That little upstart didn't know who she was messing with when she betrayed and turned into a Silver Sword. …..Your head hurts. You are Gith. You are the one who rebelled against the illithidae. The enemy. Your lover was injured. The illithidae ate a part of her brain. She was maimed, permanently injured. Her psychic powers removed.Tzanzi.“Yes my love?” You just healed her.The part of her brain was the part that loved you. Siobhan.“Yes my love?”Sioban and Tzanzi were one person. When Siobhan possessed Tzanzi she was possessed by herself. You're going to be sick.
Falna.“Yes, Supreme leader?” Her lovers, her Silver Sword and Schechei and Kteine, all look to you. Ready to follow your every command. Auena nods as well, and Yashi is staring at you like you're the love of her life. The silver swords are the minds of the githyanki. The Illithidae tear them out and put them in silver swords. Every silver sword, every special silver sword is the mind of a lover of a githyanki that the Illithid tear out and put in a silver sword. SHE, Her, Her Majesty is an illithid and she's coming for you. The Knights who worship her and the Inquisitors are illithid controlled slaves. You freed everyone in your cell from her control. You can make silver swords without using githyanki minds because of the Elder Power.Tzanzi smiles at you and Yzia grins, ready to slaughter anyone in your path. >You are Mythic Rank 10>You are Magus 20.>You are Gith, the Supreme Leader of the githyanki against the illithids. Go Hunt some illithids. Go Raiding for Human and Elven Slaves Wait here, and prove you really are the Supreme Leader Gith. Give Siobhan to Tzanzi and let she and Yzia kill every Knight and Inquisitor coming your way. Which proves you are Gith as well. Find the person who wiped your mind out last time. Her Majesty. Write in?
>>1397480Uh, it seems like we just skipped from the start of our journey and quite far along towards the climax! That's a lotta twists.>[x] Wait here, and prove you really are the Supreme Leader Gith.>[x] Give Siobhan to Tzanzi and let she and Yzia kill every Knight and Inquisitor coming your way. Which proves you are Gith as well.
Well, that's a twist.Not sure I like it.
>>1397480> Give Siobhan to Tzanzi and let she and Yzia kill every Knight and Inquisitor coming your way. Which proves you are Gith as well. > Find the person who wiped your mind out last time. Her Majesty.I mean, these seem rather urgent...
>>1397480...Now I'm feeling really sad and upset again because I feel like we accidentally sequence broke directly to the ending and I don't feel like I earned any of it and now everything feels overwhelming because we missed the whole journey. Are you okay/happy with this development? Did something happen to make you decide this quest wasn't fun anymore and if so was it our fault?...Don't get me wrong, the revelation behind the true nature of Silver Swords was foreshadowed properly and yet is still worldshattering, the Illithids secretly running the GIthyanki the whole time is a bit harder to swallow but still makes sense, and in hindsight, Akko being Gish herself seems almost obvious. It's just... it feels like either we cheated or a deadline for this quest suddenly manifested....Sorry for filling up the thread with crying, in general I feel like>[X] Give Siobhan to Tzanzi and let she and Yzia kill every Knight and Inquisitor coming your way. Which proves you are Gith as well. Do that just for the first wave or so, but move on to>[X] Go Raiding for Human and Elven Slaves >[X] Go Hunt some illithids. >Generally amass support and resources, make Real Silver Swords whenever possible, stack the deck in our favor as much as possible just so you can show that squid-faced liar the true meaning of defeat
>>1397480>Also, kiss your dragon beloved with all the love and intensity you're capable of and that still leave her in a combat-able state. She better be ready for all the time you're going to spend together
>>1397491I'm unhappy because Akko turns out to not be Akko. It's pretty meh. I thought Akko was just a smart, powerful, and very excentric Githyanki who made the most of the cards she was given Instead she was just the bench-warmer until le epic legendary founder was revealed.
>>1397491>>[X] Give Siobhan to Tzanzi and let she and Yzia kill every Knight and Inquisitor coming your way. Which proves you are Gith as well....Like right now, I'm PRETTY SURE this isn't us commanding our beloved ones to die in a blaze of glory but instead something we are almost positive they're capable of, but I lack that confidence right now because even if I can figure out how our choices led to >>1397352, I'm kind of confused as to how any of our write-ins triggered >>1397477 so I'm really losing heart here.
>>1397500Your guess is as good as mine. Also, yeah, losing heart is a good way to describe it
[X] Give Siobhan to Tzanzi and let she and Yzia kill every Knight and Inquisitor coming your way. Which proves you are Gith as well.[X] Go find the person who wiped your mind out last time. Her Majesty.[X] Write in? Falna and her Girls can get things ready. You prepare for the worst by kissing Tzanzi deeply, and transferring some of your Arcane Force into her, giving her some of your Mythic Power. Yzia has her own, and takes Tzanzi's hand as Tzanzi summons and unsheathes Siobhan, the weapon whispering loving, sweet things into your mind, reminding you that they all belong to you, and they will protect them for you.“Falna. Take your Twins and secure two dragons and supplies. We are going on that Raid I you promised to me.” You take the bag of jewels and gems you keep stashed in the sleeping places you have and hand the trio badges for their regalia. “The Silver Swords will support you.” You debate whether or not to give the extra silver sword to Schechei, but will have to wait for a proper ceremony. Annoying a Silver Sword would be trouble for someone, if not for you personally. Order Auena and Yashi with them. Send Auena and Yashi for other supplies and resources. Take Auena and Yashi with you to hunt Her Majesty. Send Auena and Yashi to collect your personal treasures to fund your Raid. Write in?

>>1397507I'm now past upset and I'm starting to get genuinely scared. I'm sorry I worry and complain so much and if it bothers you I promise I'll do my best to stop. Could you please slow down a bit?

I'm finding it hard not to fixate on irrational beliefs like my constant posting making this quest so unfun for XS she decided to just end the thing right now, or she got some bad news that means she won't be able to run for a long time and just wants to have this finished? Or maybe it has something to do with the Drunken Omake thread scheduled later this morning? I don't know, and the way she stopped responding to any in-between post questions just makes my fear grow.
>>1397529Like if I remember correctly, aren't Yashi and Aeuna just like... Level 12? I feel as if that wouldn't help right now.

>>1397507> Send Auena and Yashi for other supplies and resources.I don't even know if the prompts I choose matter anymore, but I feel like this could be where they'd be most useful? Since I remember high level DnD/Pathfinder being referred to as Rocket Tag, and I don't know enough about the system to determine whether or not we can buff them enough that they'll be able to turn the tide, or we'll have to constantly worry about protecting them from HER mind control?Like I can only justify taking them with us if we won't just be throwing their lives away because we made promises to both of them damnit! We promised Aeuna that we'd make her as fine a Gish as we are, and we promised Yashi that we'd make her a weapon that would rival Silver Swords. Are we really gonna break those promises?I don't know, is anyone having fun right now?
Am I having fun? I'm fucking crying.Or was, until a minute ago.
>>1397507>No. You are not Supreme Leader Gith. You are Akko. And no one, not even a Supreme Leader, will get your body and mind with a fight.>Say goodbye to those you loved, while you still can.Akko would not get down without fighting. Even if it's hopeless.

>>1397540So I guess vote this for one last Akko update, maybe.Poor Akko. I've thought it several time, but none are more true and literal than right now: hadn't she be born a Githyanki, she could have been a great person.
>>1397536>I don't know, is anyone having fun right now? It's not where I thought we were going today but I try to go with the flow!
>>1397540I don't really think that's what's going on here? Like I don't think Gish has a different personality or values than Akko does? I mean it's also possible that we accidentally triggered a game over sequence when we lovebit Tzanzi, and this is all just a hallucination but I don't think so? But it's well established that I don't know dick about what's happening now, so who knows, maybe that's what XS was looking for.

>>1397570We're still Mythic, let's use it.
>>1397572I've been worried about how much the entity that crafted the psychic assault knew, it seems likely now that images were drawn from Akko subconscious to trap her in a wish fulfillment pit.

It is none of them.

>>1397582...Shit, you're right. Also, being Tzanzi's mate sounds suspiciously like it could be Akko's heart's desire.
>>1397552In light of >>1397582>focus your attention on Rana firstThere aren't enough spankings in the world to make up for this if it is her.

>>1397585I'm having trouble imagining Akko desiring a mate right now, though I suppose it's possible. Well, the Rana point is a good one though, we should still watch out for her. Would be a funny angle for the assault too, in terms of motive.
>>1397577>>1397582It could be anyone, including the people Akko mentionedThough honestly it sounds like what we did with Cyrillan. Or maybe like an Elder trying to take over our body.
>>1397585If it was based on her desire, Akko would *not* be someone else. And she would be able to kiss Yzia.
>>1397596Yeah that kind of make Yashi a more likely attack since she might be trying to make us gain power faster
>>1397572it's honestly a masterstroke, Akko's meteoric ascent up the Mythic Ranks inured us to the idea of rapid growth in abilities, her ability to do things that should be impossible obfuscated our ability to judge what was truly impossible and not just presumed impossible and the bit about the Silver Swords SOUNDED true enough due to it neatly explaining Gyr coming into being when Tzanzi and Siobhan were united as well as her wanting us to do something with the Silver Swords that it made it easy for us to believe everything else. AND the fact that XS has never done something like this before certainly kept me well off-balance.So kudos XS, both on this and excellent taste in Illithid images.
>>1397596True, Akko kind of seems resentful of the idea that she has to take additional responsibility with all this Mythic stuff.
>>1397600Ow but XS has done stuff like this before and bloody well too. In Ryukuza there has been a couple of times that Ryu was under the effect of mind control and its not always easy to find the source. Another time there was fate twisting magic going on.
[X] Invoke a Quickened True Sight. You don't need to fight back hard yet. Be Sure.[X] Erect an Intellect Fortress. You might catch nearby cadre in it. Roll 3d20[X] Write in? Resist. Resist! You focus the carefully collected Arcane Force you harvest, and cautiously squeeze it through itself, forming the spell without invoking the components normally necessary. It hurts, and you're probably going to pay a price for it, but you manage to activate it through your own strength. Your own normal, augmented, ridiculously fantastic levels of power you believed you had.Gith? Really? You might be egotistical, but really? Gyr you might have seen, but Gith? You open your eyes, your body straining against the potent influence of the Mind Scan. Adrenaline coursing through your vies, your veins tinged green from the potency of it. Making you sick to your stomach in a place where your body doesn't actually work.Your companions and slaves are caught in a power psychic lock of some sort. The are all staring into space, blissfully ignorant of what's going on. The githyanki male in front of you is old, but not ancient....but he's wearing a single honor on his regalia.HER honor. He's scanning your mind for thoughts of treason and sedition, like a good inquisitor should be doing. He's got nowhere near the sweet finesse of Yashi, and his pretending to be Tzanzi was a brilliant move on his part. Your thoughts might be under his control, at least somewhat, but your eyes are now unable to see anything but the reality of your situation. He sifts your desires and wants, those being your incessant search for knowledge, and even more important, understanding. Even sex sometimes takes a back seat to that. Not often, but still.Unfortunately whatever power he's doing this with is alien to you. It's nothing your familiar with and that makes it difficult to know how much he's implanting and how much is just possibility, or if it is just the logical conclusion to your situation. You can't tell, and that worries you.But now you can fight back.I am Akko. I am a Magus. I serve Her Majesty. I am Companion to Yzia. Tzanzi is my friend. I am me. I am real. I am Akko.
>>1397611What a rude dude
You build it brick by brick, every particle of your identity, your understanding of yourself. You know yourself inside and out, and that becomes the basis of your defense.Though your Intellect Fortress has some range, but you're not close enough to anyone save Yashi to include them. She remains very still. Her eyes slowly moving to meet yours; the inquisitor's are closed; you can feel the draw of the mental landscape he's crafted. But the Fortress keeps you on track even wile part of your mind is currently taking the battle to Her Majesty the Illithid Queen.Yeah, that was kind of weird too. An illithid in control of a githyanki stronghold? The idea is ridiculous.Without command and domination powers of your own, you can't reverse the effects. You can clearly use magic; he might have your mind enthralled, but you're not a simple githyanki. Siobhan is at your side, bolstering your will further and keeping him from realizing you are partly conscious. >Roll 1d20 A Pool Strike will destroy his concentration, and hurt him badly. An Arcane Blast Will hurt a lot worse and wreck is concentration, but it might reveal your secret. A Dazing Molten Orb will take him out long enough for you to do whatever you like to him. You'll get hurt, but it will be worth it. Use your arcane force to craft a Touch of Idiocy to use on him. That isn't a simple or weak power. Have Yashi use her spells on him. Write in?

Rolled 12 (1d20)>>1397614>[X] Use your arcane force to craft a Touch of Idiocy to use on him. That isn't a simple or weak power.
Rolled 16 (1d20)>>1397614This is interesting. I'm wondering if we risk damaging ourselves here with an improper approach, especially I do hope Touch of Idiocy wouldn't cause some rather unpleasant degradation of the currently enthralled parts of our mind - while it can stop spells from being cast (assuming we can even reduce his stats enough) I dunno how it affects spells you're already maintaining. That said, I do NOT have the confidence that a single d6 worth of stat reduction will stop him from being able to cast this spell, so I don't think I'll risk it anyhow. I dunno what spell Dazing Molten Orb is and the Arcane Blast drawback sounds rough, so:>[x] A Pool Strike will destroy his concentration, and hurt him badly.Should do a fair amount of damage!
>>1397614> Have Yashi use her spells on him. This to force him to expend some part of the defenses he probably has in place right now. Then, Use your arcane force to craft a Touch of Idiocy to use on him. That isn't a simple or weak power.I'm not sure whether we want to kill him straight out, or if we should attempt something else to allay suspicion.

Like if that's the case, shouldn't we let this inquisitor complete his duties and turn ourselves in, instead of, you know, visiting terrible violence upon his person and totally planning on running away when our secret is revealed?
Rolled 20 (1d20)>>1397614> Use your arcane force to craft a Touch of Idiocy to use on him. That isn't a simple or weak power.> Have Yashi use her spells on him. Please work

>>1397632That's some pretty bad rolls. Are those Akko's?
>>1397636There's no guarantee any lf the options will disrupt his concentration though, even if Touch is a bit riskier than the others they're all still 'maybe' approaches.
>>1397632Wait is that his dice or ours that we haven't rolled yet?>>1397636I'm pretty sure him accidentally fucking up our mind is unlikely, since he'll ideally be rendered too stupid to use those techniques at all, not suddenly use them badly? Though it's possible he won't be able to explain himself until the spell wears off? I don't know, it's times like this I wish I actually played Pathfinder.
>>1397638Sure, but Touch is a maybe in the sense "we don't know what it'll do", not "we don't know if it will work."
>>1397643Well, I do imagine XS wouldn't fuck us over like that. I was more wondering in general how it would work since I haven't seen the interaction before. Besides that, it should be -1d6 and I assume this guy has fairly high Int so it shouldn't strike him dumb to the point of actual idiocy.
>>1397647>If he is using a high level power as Akko theorizes, and suddenly loses two or three points of his manifesting stat, that power is no longer his to use. Even if that doesn't work, you will damage all his mental defenses and awareness, as well as the self centered ego that makes his aware of himself.
>>1397652So if it did reduce it far enough to stop him from using it, the spell would just fizzle and stop as if it was purposely ended/purged?
Rolled 4, 2, 2, 1, 5, 1, 4, 6, 4, 1, 3, 5 = 38 (12d6)[X] Have Yashi use her spells on him. (Akko Bluffs, Yashi Senses motive, his Saving Throw.)[X] A Pool Strike will destroy his concentration, and hurt him badly. (Your Roll with natural critical taken, his concentration check.)Since using telepathy would be insane at this moment, you gesture to Yashi. She watches your hands, and knows they mean something, but it obvious you aren't getting your message across. Either that or you aren't conveying it properly, which is entirely possible given your age differences and the fact that this is pretty much your first time trying to work together. You're on your own then, though she will probably do something given the opportunity. You can definitely do something about that. The use of arcane force for the sake of pure energy is not one of the abilities you have to use with your mind. It is a natural – supernatural, you suppose – power that stems directly from your use of the magical energies. As a result he never realizes it's coming until it's too late. The yellowish energy erupts from your fingertips where you tap him on the solar plexus. He gasps, his spell unraveling under the acidic destruction of his flesh and bone and armor. With your full faculties, your ready to do whatever it takes to win this fight. Then Yashi casts Greater Dispel. The spells protecting him go down and he howls loudly, as the acidic energies erupt anew. More importantly, your companions and allies are all freed. Confused and startled, and not a little angry, but no longer trapped in his mental control. It may not have been ordinary magic, it was sill susceptible and Yashi. Even now she starts the gestures to blind him, though she doesn't speak the spell aloud. You hold out your hand and Siobhan is there, her giggling shrieks of joy melodiously echoing in your mind.“I think you are about to have the worst moment in your entire existence, Inquisitor,” you growl softly, your spurs bared and Siobhan bursting into life, coruscating black and red energies surrounding your lover-blade.>To Be Continued....

>>1397671 even more so because one of those stats is likely to be a dump stat which, when reduced to zero, leaves your enemy a drooling moron incapable of actions. I flat out love that spell.
>>1397671I'm sorry for not believing in you more, it was really well-crafted and it gave me a much needed wake-up call on just how scary mind-affecting attacks are when you're on the receiving end, which is definitely something we need to be aware of considering the choices we make. Two things though, did you roll Akko's will save off-screen to make sure we didn't catch on or are there psychic abilities subtle enough where the PC doesn't get an initial resistance roll and it's conditional on them noticing the trap? Also, does Akko think it likely that the Inquisitor gave everyone in the room a simpler dream just to placate them or did they all share in Akko's involuntary power fantasy? Because if the latter, that seems super-embarassing.

The 'pain' and 'sickness' were secondary effects of his power effecting Akko and that's where she failed her saving throws, feeling the power fighting back. She made her save only once, but it was enough.(Dazing and Sickening Mind Probe to leave her without actions and lowered capability). That was a fellow githyanki. Are you sure you want to meet The Enemy? That's not a vote, you're welcome.Yes, Akko is very likely going to be really, really, really embarrassed. And probably has freaked out Schechei and Falna. But you've just given Rana and Yashi the show of their lives. Yzia, of course, knows how wonderfully entertaining you are. Yeah, totally embarrassed.>>1397695This is your cadre, sworn to do your bidding, and you have the power of life and death over them. But they get to choose if they obey or not. they will follow your lead. The inquisitor is going to try and defend his activity, and Akko is going to have to make some hard, hard choices. Probably not any that make her a goddess though.

It was also very hard to leave clues and suggest that this was not all really happening to our heroine. I really have no plans to do something this terrifying ever again. But anon has done strange things before.
I guess if there's one thing Akko's cadre can take away from this, it's that one of the first things she would do upon becoming a god is to kiss Tzanzi multiple times.>>1397711The Dancer is indeed a girl. And as far as I know, most Souls girls don't come with additional equipment.

Because... if he really knows about Gyr, that feels like we should be mildly concerned with where the real Tzanzi is? I mean even if we were careless with concealing our powers, someone just being able to reason out Gyr's involvement seems like it'd require being almost as smart as Akko herself Or Gyr's been trying this schtick for significant amounts of arbitrary time units, and Akko is just the latest sucker>Yes, Akko is very likely going to be really, really, really embarrassed. And so the emotional rollercoaster ends with giggles, always a good place to stop.
>>1397719That must wait for next session, sorry.
>>1397715Only the puffiest are good enough for Akko and her raiders.
>>1397713Thank you so much for being able to follow through, and I'm sorry I contributed to you feeling really stressed tonight. The sequence inadvertantly hit me in pretty much all the insecurities, and it seems like sleep deprivation leaves me a lot rawer to that sort of thing than I originally thought, but those aren't really excuses.
>>1397722Yeah that's fine, I was just thinking out loud for that part.
>>1397727We'll have to do it again sometime.Later. Much later.
>>1397713In hindsight I thought it was pretty obvious really, at least by the end. Anons were probably just not thinking straight due to worry or being distracted (questing at work is tough!). I'm glad you stuck through it.
>>1397730So like, how much of the last few sessions has been a dream? That's what I'm drawing a blank on, I can't tell when this started. If we didn't screw Yzia in dragon form imma be miffed.
>>1397713Anons being way invested in a silly smutquest should just encourage you! It's threads like these that really make you appreciate a quest in the end.
>>1397739When Tzanzi arrived. Akko's hindsight is as good as yours, and the fact that Akko knows not even a wish would heal that damage is what gave him away and where she started fighting back harder. She often suspects Tzanzi's magic resistance (in metagame terms) is permanently in overdrive and possibly unbreakable due to the damage. She lo - LIKES. LIKES Tzanzi just as she is.
>>1397713Take heart I was enjoying the chaos. Bloody awesome writing XS
>>1397752....When did she arrive
>>1397752On one hand Tzanzis "disability" makes her safe, on the other hand you always want what you can't have just a bit more than you would otherwise. As much shit as the inquisitor is in with Akko, I can only imagine how Tzanzi would feel.Wish we had better sense motive, a lot depends on why the inquisitor is loyal to HER. And how far his interpretation of that loyalty can be stretched.Either way our time here is perilously close to its end. Sad, but also exciting.
>>1397752Here's what me off a little bit. In Session 5 Part 1, I (I'm pretty sure it was me?) asked you>Wait, was the damage done to Tzanzi so great that even a Wish couldn't heal it, or did Tzanzi turn it down/Akko knows Tzanzi well enough that she knew Tzanzi would react poorly and thus didn't offer?and you replied>...Merely healing a wound like that, one which Tzanzi has lived with for literal centuries, with the most powerful magic available would have been a waste and neither Akko nor Tzanzi would have tolerated it. Unless you meant just the superficial damage done to Tzanzi's face and not to her brain?
>>1397760>>1397767Did she arrive this thread, or am I missing something.
>>1397770No, "Tzanzi" arrived at the very end of Part 13, in the closing post.>You turn...and discover you have a far more interested and intensely attentive audience than you had been expecting. Yzia smiles faintly. I will enjoy seeing you explain this to her.... the wicked dragon teases.>You'd love to know how to do just that, as Tzanzi towers over you all, looking at you with a strange expression.
>>1397767Doesn't really matter, in hindsight everything else should have raised far more red flags.
>>1397760I'd imagine we'd have a very hard time making the Inquisitor doubt His Majesty in any sense, hopefully we don't need to.
>>1397758She didn't. That's the point.>>1397767Simple regeneration won't fix what's wrong with Tzanzi. The psychic and magic parts of her mind and her body alike were removed and devoured. It would take miracles and wishes, multiple ones, to restore the damage inflicted. The cosmetic damage is a reflection of the psychic damage It would be awesome if she figured out how to achieve it, of course, but currently it's beyond their means, and their time.Auena might be able to tell Akko more.
>>1397785Illithids continue to just be the worst.>Auena might be able to tell Akko moreThat's interesting, shows what I know for doubting she has much to teach the likes of us....Speaking of Aeuna, do Githyanki typically feel secondhand embarassment?
>>1397788Not typically, unless someone happens to be broadcasting it telepathically. They're a self centered bunch at the best of times. Now the spectacle of someone suffering through it, especially their Leader? That's another matter. What was done to Tzanzi was psychic in nature - Akko is more interested in magic. Magic clearly isn't enough to fix it without wasting resources that will be better spent elsewhere, which Akko and Tzanzi neither regret nor concern themselves over; Akko thinks in terms of magic and less psychic solutions, especially invasive ones.
Sad to have missed the thread. Would've loved to go on XS' Wild Ride with you all.
I very much liked the ride. Well done OP for sticking through your plan.
Question, XS: did we found that it was fake as fast as you were expecting it? Or slower?>>1397711The Dancer is a girlAlso, it's not a bulge, just regular girl groin
>>1398302It was touch and go really, and i wasn't sure when you would pick it up, but the lack of a kiss with your dragon was the clincher that gave it away for certain.Writing mind flayers as enemies would be even more traumatic, I suspect, because they're much better at this sort of thing, but everyone's mental defenses would also be up - Akko (and everyone else) getting caught by surprise is the only reason it worked so well.
>>1400982I like to think part of the reason it was so effective was that the players didn't really have their guards up either, which we'll be better at for the future but that could be baseless. Also thanks for making our first exposure to this level of mental combat be someone who... doesn't seem like he's making hurting anyone a primary goal of his right now? Like if he was a mind flayer or even a more aggressive githyanki, then I'd say your suspicions on the thread being traumatic would be on the money.
>>1401232Also just a quick refresher but were Akko and Tzanzi fairly close before Tzanzi was partially de-brained, or did that happen before Akko's time?Like Akko made Tzanzi's glass eye, but I'm not sure if that was right after Tzanzi's injury or if she previously wore an eyepatch or whatever?
>>1401232He may not be benevolent, but he's deifntiely not out to kill or maim - he could have done that very easily while he had everyone enthralled as he did.>>1401248They met after Tzanzi lost her eye - Tzanzi is older than Akko is, but Akko transferred to this stronghold, rather than being born in it. Before the glass eye, she wore an eyepatch; most glasswork tends to be utilitarian. Akko is an exception.
>>1401404That makes sense with what you said about Tzanzi's strength and rep theoretically making her eligible for being a Supreme Leader (which, in hindsight I could guess a couple ways we could have used that, though much would depend on Tzanzi and maybe political stuff I'm unaware of). Did Akko transfer here with Falna (since I think you referenced Falna being Akko's first serious relationship?), or was Falna born here and Akko just transferred when she was pretty young, or did Akko come to this stronghold first only for Falna to seem to follow her here later?
A poll in general.http://www.strawpoll.me/12825669>>1401531Akko was a younger transfer, and they met in this Stronghold. Tzanzi and Akko started becoming friends while Akko was Falna's lieutenant on a raid (nothing more, because Akko was a fan-girl at the time - their deeper relationship happened a long time after Falna dumped Akko). Under Falna, also met Hadal and a number of her contacts and allies. Their relationship lasted a couple of (Astral Time) decades+ a number of physical time years.
>>1401911Oh man, that's a tough question. In part because it's kinda hard to visualize what each would look like. Probably either limited third or first person.
>>1401911Yzia is the standout character for me, so you can tell which way I voted.
>>1401911That is a really tough question, I feel like the most significant difference between first-person and third-person limited, is that Akko doesn't really think the same way humans do (for one thing, she's much MUCH better at it, if that INT score is any indication) and while I don't doubt your ability to capture that, I'm also unsure how digestible that would be, and feel like a narrator could kind of act as a sort of buffer maybe? But then again, if that were the case, would that be the same as kind of dulling Akko's pointier bits, and would that be to the detriment of the story?
>>1401911Voted for 1st person Akko due to your 2nd person still needing work, XS. I'd prefer Y'zia, but it probably wouldn't be as entertaining.
>>1401911>>1403430I base this on your 2nd person smut story, no you might have gotten better. If so, feel free to move my vote.
>>1403629though you might have gotten better*
>>1401911IMO I would prefer it to be a second person narration through Akko's eyes
>>1403757Second person from the point of view of the MC is always a little weird. >>1403629Kind of surprised it's been read. 2nd person writing for smut is somewhat different than for story. I can't move the votes, it's mostly a curiosity of what POV the people in quests like to read outside of quests.Sadly, because of IP infringement, I'd have to work very hard and carefully to wrest this mess into something publishable.
>>1403798Making a story that so far at least seems to be about Githyanki and what it means to be a Githyanki in a way that won't get you in trouble with Wizards of the Coast? That is indeed a challenge. If you don't mind me asking, why transform this quest into a book (first, at least) and not Ryukusa? Too much potential editing/something would be lost in translation, as it were?
>>1404041I don't intend to novelize this. Or Ryukusa, for that matter. I'm terrible at book-writing, and stick to short stories. I wanted to know what POV people who enjoy quests prefer to read outside of quests.Ryukusa would be much easier to write as a novel due to the more 'generic' reality and systems involved, admittedly.
>>1404178Ryukusa is also way longer though!
