Shit you have done so far
>https://pastebin.com/uSUaFeBe

Your encounter with the Acid Slug and the Carnatourus in the forest have thought you one thing. Your men need to know how to protect themselves. Right now they are lackluster to put it mildly. The mushroom men have never had the concept of weaponry before a few days ago thusly they are a little confused on what to do with these pointy sticks. So you show them.

You take the stick and start swinging it around. Then it comes to your attention that you yourself don't know what to do with them.

None the less your troops try to figure out what they are doing and by the time they are finished have actually learned how to thrust the spear!

>10 Spearmen Upgraded
>(P)>>>(Ut)

---

Your men take the hint that stone is truly a valuable resource for your village and go to collect more. Seeing as the last shipment has already been used to its fullest. They pack up the sleds and head out to the miniature quarry that has seemingly been created. Though it's actually just a cave where they have been mining all the rock from.

Rocking it!

The nursery is nearing completion and the extra baby shrooms are able to be placed inside. It's still a tight fit but when the building is complete there will be plenty of room for your future generations to grow.

Those bullywugs are on your mind a lot these days. You wonder if they are peaceful. Perhaps they would be good friends and allies. Hopefully not enemies...

But the ability to hear by spore is a rare trait in other life it seems. Seemingly only around one in ten can hear it. There must be a way to widen your abilities. This is not something the scientist can study for you as this is a matter of biology. "Ugh this is going to be a pain to figure out without some kind of miracle!

Days later a light shines down upon you. A rare event in this dark jungle you call home. But you do feel the strangest pull toward the west. Perhaps a sign? You bring one of the scouts already familiar with the west as a guide and head out.

You and the scout are led to a large tree, the base of which is slightly carved out. It's unnatural so you investigate. Looking in the little gap your scout gasps.

"Sir... frogman! Dead though..."

You enter the tiny cave and examine the body. "What's this?"

The dead bullywug is seemingly holding onto... a shroom infant? Did he kidnap it? Or was it simply born here? Either way something is 'Off' about it. It is different looking than the rest of your shroom men. It's eyes weird, it's body also has webbing between its small fingers and body parts.

"This is a child of shrooms and as such must be taken care of."

You take the child back to the village and put him in the nursery with the others. They seem to get along fine.

>+1 ???Shroom infant
---

The nursery is finally complete! You can now hold 20 shroom children and 25 for short periods of time. But there are onlt 15 inside at the current moment. Since the Odd shroom took one under his wing.

Stone is stone. It's the strongest material you have to work with. Thusly you cannot really improve your current tools. That being said the shroom workers CAN refine their abilities.

Over the past few months the workers have developed a special way of mining that maximizes productivity. Only a few of the shrooms seem to be able to teach this method to the others but once it is in use around the village you will surely gain a higher yield from any collection efforts. Not to mention the extra resources you will gain from training them!

As a plant your men have never had a problem going unseen in this jungle. But NOW it has a purpose. In order to observe the bullywugs in their village you gave taken a group of the villagers and taken them out to the forest.

They must be able to sneak within twenty yards of you and be unnoticed before they are allowed to return home. For someone knowing what to look for this makes it a much more difficult training exercise than anticipated. But when you are done they will probably never be seen if they don't want to be. That is, as long as they are in a jungle or woods.

Nothing to see here folks!

A beaten path has been forged between your village and the mountains you collect your stone from. With this newly forged "road" your Scientists headed by THE scientist begin plans of making a better cart that capitalizes on the use of round objects to move the carts along smoother.

Seeing as you have three of your top shrooms working on it. Inventing and putting into effect a whole new tech wont last much longer than say... The rest of the warm season?

The shrooms you have been training are now able to sneak up behind you and tap you on the shoulder. These tricky little fungi are more or less masters of evasion and stealth for all you are concerned. It's doubtful anything will find them unless they are looking for them and have like hundreds of eyes.

>Stealth has been learned. While in the jungle and forest the likelihood of being seen while spying is greatly reduced. Also more likely to lose any pursuers when running away in the jungle. Unless they have some kind of tracking abilities.

Rollie, rollie roll. The scientists are having a fun time testing the the wheels on a small hill. Now they are attaching the sleds to the wheels to? What will those wacky shrooms think of next!

When the scientists finally got done 'testing' the carts by riding them down a hill they were dubbed complete and upgraded all the sleds into wagons. They will probably cut down on the time it takes to move resources and possibly other things like shrooms if you can find a way to move them.

But anyway the scientists return to the science shack to do Nature knows what.

>Carts are done.
---

Before you set out on the exploration mission you decide to give some small tributes to see if it is something these so-called forces of nature and the Sun would like. But sadly you don't have many things...

One of your shrooms sits down with a small stone hammer he seems to have made of extra stone and begins carving a little statue.

When the little statue is done it is a cute little stone figure of a stone shroom man and a small sun shaped stone. Not the best offerings but any higher being must know you don't have much to offer.

There is seemingly no effect?

--

The time has come to finally see what those frogmen are up to over there. You personally lead a 5 shroom squad on a recon mission of the bullywug town in the west. But you have seemingly come at a bad time...

When you approach the village the dancing light is engulfing a small hut of the bullywugs. That's not the worst of it. A dead bullywug is laying on the ground being eaten by a reptilian being. The rest of the bullywugs are there as well. They are all kneeling down as several other reptilians walk around the village.

These reptilians are bigger than the bullywugs by at least a foot. Around the size of the common shroomman. One is wearing a shiny outfit as the others seemingly wear some kind of brown pads. All seem equipped with what looks like axes. But they are much shinier.

You and your scouts look on in horror and curiosity as the reptilians go from shack to shack taking as they please.

At one point a bullywug tries to attack one of the reptilians taking from his home. His head rolled on the ground and his body is immediately torn apart by the jaws of at least four of the reptiles.

When it is all over the reptiles board a large floating... Something and begin sailing west across the western water.

The bullywugs just stay where they are. Not moving until the thing is out of sight. Then they stand and slump to repair their village. You soon get sporetalk from one of your scouts. He informs you he has acquired a portion of the dancing fire and is heading back to the village.

You don't think now is the right time to talk to them. So you and the rest of the squad head back as well.

Not everything in this world is kind. Not everything in this world is safe. You learned that harsh lesson by observing your neighbors. The brutal sacking of a seemingly peaceful village is your wake up call. What is needed above all else is protection. The time has come to bolster the defenses and prepare for any such events that may come in the future.

The first line of defense. The walls. They are the first thing that must be upgraded. You have to make sure they can hold up against whatever weaponry the enemy may throw against you.

Upon hearing of these events The scientist seems troubled. He begins devising a way to shape the stones into large bricks and also ways of stacking them higher. This spur of the moment large scale building is also based on undiscovered tech. It may be a while before the walls reach their potential.

"The great walled village of _____"
>(1/6)
---

Another Idea you have is the ability to attack at a distance. The weaponry of the reptilians seemed much more advanced than yours so you will need to get the first attacks off should a battle ever come.

Basic ideas are thrown out. From rock throwing to spear throwing. There is a divergence among the two scientific assistants. One suggests making a surplus of sharp wooden sticks to use as a throwing tool. They will do a decent amount of damage but not be as fast on the attack. (1/2 turns)

The other scientist counters with an idea of an item called a sling. These will be used to throw small stones very quickly at an enemy. But from the blueprints it seems it will take a longer time training a slinger to be more efficient but on the up side they are more deadly and faster attacking. But also cost 1 stone to train. (1/3)

>pick which idea to side with. Throwing spears or slings

---

The hot substance dubbed 'fire' by the shrooms is a dangerous substance. The shroom whom carried it back ended up burning off his arm. He almost lost the fire but managed to dig a hole to place it in.

Upon further research it seems the fire will die if not constantly fed the fruits of nature. Wood leaves and the like. It also does not like water. The fire hissed at you and shot a black cloud in your face when you added water. But the sun has since constantly shined upon the location the fire was placed.

>Basic fire understanding. Basic ideas of how to create it.

---

Events: The forces of nature weep. The sky brings a great onrush of water to your village. The fire is just barely saved and moved into the chiefs hut. But the shrooms rejoice. This rain is wonderful and gives the soil a huge amount of nutrients.
>>
>>1398815
These nutrients have advanced the growth of the younglings. 16 Shrooms have reached maturity. 1 Of which is a devoted member of the (what villagers are calling) Cult of the Sun. Where as his father is being hailed as the First member of the Cult of Nature. The weird shroom has evolved. He looks different than all the others. He is shorter, his cap smaller, his body has webbing between all his limbs but neatest of all... The mouth. With which this creature croaks on a pretty frequent basis. He can still speakspore though so that's good.

Now that works of defense are being worked on it's time to assist your neighbors to the west. You decide not to go on this first visit in case the wugs are hostile towards your kind. Rather, the volunteer unit consists of the Interesting Shroom-Wug, New shroom priest of the Sun, a scientist, and an envoy of two shrooms. Along with four spearmen who are to follow behind in case things happen to go wrong.

You load up a wagon of your raw materials.
>-5 stone ,-X wood

You approach the village and immediately a croaking is heard from the village. Splashes of water and a huge hubbub are made. As you approach the open village you are met with only three bullywugs armed with Poorly made shell armor and wooden sticks.

>Aggressive croaking

Your people have a basic understanding of what they are saying but nothing indepth. Something along the lines of "we don't want trouble. Go away"

Your Croak shroom steps in with what you told him to say before he left. One word. "Peace"

The bullywugs lower their weapons and begin talking with the croakshroom. None of these three seem to hear spore.

Masonry is hard. Accurately breaking stone with stone is what in shroomish popular culture is being called 'a bitch'

The dynamics of the sling is a little iffy but the scientist whom thought up the idea is eager to prove himself as a scientist and happily works his hardest to get the creation perfected for military use. When it is done it will take around 2 turns to train the common shroom to even use this item. But when mastered will be a deadly tool capable of killing at a decent range.

The sling is perfected. You can now construct slings for your men. However it will take 2 turns of training to teach them how to use the slings even as a fundamental level.

Slings will cost 1 stone per weapon.

>Slings invented.
---

The scientist is getting pretty upset with this. He is used to instant results and this slow progress is really harshing his mello. He gives command of overseeing the wall construction to his aid. He claims he's going to take a nap and grumbles back to his hut.

The aid is pretty hype to inherit his masters work and throws himself into it. The problem he is facing is getting the stones higher in the air. He is working on something he calls a 'pully system'

"The great walled village of _____"
>(3/6)

---

Noticing that the soil is its richest in the few coming months the shrooms struggle to identify the method of their birth. The only thing they have to go on is that shroom children are often found in the bodies of dead animals and things.

But in this season of plenty not as many things are dying. You can only hope to go out and find more dead bodies in the jungle. As your mushroom forest is rather free of life besides your village. Wait... What's that?

A short lowhanging mushroom tree stands out to you its cap is HUGE, nearly twice as big as yours but only about 1/4 you height. The spores of this tree are different from the rest of the shroom trees. Curious, you take a peek under the tree. Laying in the shade of the cap is a bushel of children. These cute little truffles are seemingly born here in larger amounts than in the dead bodies.

You collect the children and note the location of this tree.

>+10 Shroom Babies.

The bullywugs are highly cautious of your kind. All eyes are locked on you. Your special Croak-shroom gives them one last word before the leader of the mission decides to leave. He says "Friends" in bullywug speak

You follow the Western Water northward. Your goal, something new. Something better to add to your civilization. Something to make your kind unique. It may have been a mistake.

You keep following the forest until a massive structure stops you from exploring farther. It was worth noting however before you could leave you find yourself and your four man squad surrounded. A dozen men of grey similar to the Reptilian from the bullywug village have you surrounded. However they are not reptilian. They are... Soft looking under this grey suit they wear.

"Halt creature... Be ye sentient? Doth thou understand?" A man atop a pitch black four legged creature asks.

You nod vigorously trying desperately to send your spores to them

"Seems this creature is no smarter than the reptiles. Shall we dispatch it sir?" one of the men asks

"Are you deaf man! Did you not hear it speak?" another asks

"Speak?! Surely you jest~"

The troops begin fighting amongst themselves if they heard a sound or not. Around three heard you while nine did not

"Quiet!" the leader says. "I have heard them speak. They can communicate. Tell me creature? Are you allied with the reptiles? Choose your answer carefully."

You answer in honest with no.

"Then you are not as dumb as dumb as first thought... Tell me. Have you met the people known as frogmen? They hail from the south as well."

He may mean bullywugs... "Yes?"

"Ah... So they do still live. That is comforting to hear." The General says in a soft tone. "Well creature. Begone. We have no issue with you.I Caution you . This land is not for your kind. Should you venture past my fortress you will be viewed as an invader and I will not show mercy."

You head back home. But you also gathered some information from the talks of the 'human' troops.

>The fortress is the southeastern defensive post against the reptilians.

>They are officially neutral however a small spark will cause a full blown war.

>They at one point funded the bullywugs and several smaller factions to fight the reptilians.

The walls are up. The wooden walls have been taken out and replaced with stone. A ten foot tall wall is now surrounding your village. Not only that but the size of the town has also gotten bigger. Along with this a secondary wall has been constructed by the two entrances. Two smaller wooden bases have been set up outside the gates and can house 10 guards each in the event of an invasion.

These walls cannot be taken down by any means you know of short of a falling tree. No dumb lizards will get in here without a fight.
---

The slingers have also gained the ability to actually use their weapons.

Now almost half the time they can hit the target as long as its still and almost half that time they are able to actually hurt the target. But alas the rest of the time the rocks harmlessly bounce off of the target.

>+5 (Ut) Slingers.

---

A joyous day in shroom culture. The first city of the shrooms has been named at last. Capstone! The name that conveys the highest power in the great swamp.

---

Event: Your shroom watchman signals you to go to the western gate. He tells you there is a welcome surprise. So you go to the gate and see. Before you are 15 shrooms. You don't know any of them... Where did they come from?

"...Home?"

They seem to be wanting to enter your town. Wanting to join you in building the shroom empire. This raises your villager count to 50 shrooms and 10 truffles.

The book has no images of lizards. Only short people with hairy chins.

With the influx of new shrooms you jump right on the housing issue. With fifty... oh wait... sixty!

>Seems the truffles have grown up. +10 shroom men

With the sixty shroom men all living within these same walls the villagers are working hard to make their homes. Friendly shroom villagers are even pulling together their personal resources to help build the new homes.

>+10 stone
>-25 stone
No stone left.

With these resources and the constant work of all the villagers the new homes have been built have been built. Now you have room for 75 villagers. Room for another 15 shroom men is possible.

>Housing built
---

The slingers should be able to hit more often than not right? You really put their noses to the grindstone. They begin slinging day and night until they hit the target with enough force to at least seem painful.

The training is still slowgoing but the villagers enjoy watching the training. Many villagers are wanting to be able to defend the village should something happen.

Next level slingers
>(1/2)
>Side Objective: Create more spearmen, slingers, or Axemen
---

With all these new shrooms and the cool season right around the corner you look to expand the warming cave. The villagers break ground in the warming cave for a new level.

It's pretty hard to get all the dirt out. Not to mention the caveins that keep setting you back...

After about five days of trying and only making it about five feet down you settle for just expanding the current cave.

"Sir, Sir!" A shroom says busting into the town hall. "Look at this sir" He tells you pointing outside to a wagon.

"What is it man?! Calm down!" You stay standing from your stump of a chair. You leave the town hall into the village center where a lot of shrooms have gathered looking at the wagon. In the back of the wagon are rocks. Not just any rocks however. These rocks are green. "Sir, what is this?"

The miners tell you they found it in the deepest part of the cave. There is apparently quite a bit m ore but they elected to bring it to you and see if it's worth the time or to focus on stone.

Along with 15 Stone you also gathered 5 units of the strange green rock.

The cave is completed! Room has been dug out for a great number of your shroom people. With this Winter quite possibly being worse than last year it is a very timely improvement. With the reinforced additions to the cave there is room enough for 50 of your 62 shroom people.

They are already calling what spaces will be given to who. But the final say on who is 'in' will not be told until the time has come.

>More shrooms More caves.

The weird green rock seems harder than normal rocks. Your Scientist is baffled by the odd rocks. He has tried hammering, picking, and even cutting. Nothing comes of it. Scientist has some theories but cannot attempt them without new resources and techs. He tells you he would need some of that bullywug substance called fire or a miracle from the Sun to give some kind of heat.

Alas the priests still tell you of the Suns anger toward your people for denying him tribute. In retrospect your kind can't really offer anything since your not advanced enough to have any items of value but you guess the Sun doesn't care.

>Objective: Acquire a source of heat.
---

The Sun and Nature priests stay at the shrine all day, meditating and looking for signs of what the forces of Nature and the Sun could want. The original priest tells you he received a vision from Nature.

She asks for tribute. Not a tribute of resources, but a tribute of time. Nature asks you give a fraction of your time during the next season to give rightful praise to nature. The priest of the Sun tells you the force of the Sun asks for a tribute of life.

The Sun will think of gifting you his warmth if you tribute a being to it's greatness.

A detachment has been sent to the bullywugs. The Croakshroom and you the Chief along with some spearmen and a slinger. You venture west to the bullywug town of New Bog. You arrive and your second encounter is much like the first. The majority of the villagers retreat to their huts while a few stay out to meet with you. It is a much warmer meeting with no spears pointed at you.

"Welcome back... Neighbor. To what do we owe the visit?" a wug asks

You are lucky to have your Wugshroom, as he is not capable of speaking spore. "Fire" he croaks.

The wug seems conflicted about the giving the secret, however he stares at the the homes of the village. Strong stone dwellings built of your gift to them. The wug nods and leads you to the center of the small town.

He takes a pile of dried grass and leaves and retrieves two rocks from his hut. He strikes them together and what he calls 'Sparks' fly. The brown pile catches fire.

"Take these..." He says handing you the two rocks "Special rocks"

Your men practice under the wug for a while. Soon they can create fire with ease. By the time you notice a small crowd of bullywugs has gathered, looking on at you and your men in wonder.

Your men leave the village. Waving to the bullywugs who see you off.

The sun is a being who you must appease in order to keep your villagers alive, from what your priest told you you will need to bring a gift of flesh to the alter. The first ever hunting party is formed.

Two slingers and three spearmen venture into the Darkest depths of the jungle.
...
...
...
Hours later four of your shrooms return carrying a beast behind them. But they don't seem happy. The third spearmen is nowhere to be seen. They inform you the beast slammed him with its massive tail. He was unresponsive...

You decide the time of mourning is over and finally give the beast to the God of Sunlight. You light a large fire next to the shrine and axe the body into pieces. Your first encounter with organic blood in person is interesting. The nutrients in the blood rejuvenate the shrooms it splashes on.

But there was none left for the villagers as every last bit of the beast was burnt to char in the large fire. The cold continues intensifying around the village though. So you have a talk with your priest.

"Why cold... We give?"

"Winter stay same... Not get worse..."

Apparently this tribute was just enough to keep the sun from ignoring your jungle for the winter. However the tribute was not grand enough for a shortened winter. "We should be grateful." the priest tells you.

Apparently you dodged a bullet. But things won't be any better than last year either.
---

The Goddess of nature seems much more forgiving. The shroom men in the warming cave begin reciting the prayers the priests taught them. Nothing is happening yet but the priest tells you that the nature goddess has heard your prayers...

He doesn't know if anything is in store for you yet. But asks you continue the prayers.

---

No shroom will be left behind you declare as you greenlight the expansion of the cave even further. With this new expansion a hundred of your kind will be able to comfortably wait out the cold in the cave. However, with the shortage of stone a trip must be made to the mine.

We wouldn't want one part of the cave being stronger than the others right.

The messenger produces from his cap a strange brown bar. "Scientist has asked me show you something. Come"

He brings you outside to a rock he laced on a stump. "Watch". The shroom slams the bar into the stone, shattering the stone into pieces and leaving the bar in perfect shape.

"Scientist has 5 of this substance he has dubbed, Copper. He tells you this resource may be incredibly useful in the future "but the scientist is returning soon due to the cooling temperature.

Again your Hunters return. Their mood the same as before... They return with one less man. The four Spearmen however do carry behind them another beast. They also bring with them a story of heroism...

The party was walking through a jungle on the bank of a murky river. Having fun and laughing without a care in the world. The shroom telling the story on the verge of tears. From behind he was thrown forward into a pile of mud. At first he was angry at the shroom for pushing him. When he looked back he was terrified.

His friend was being dragged into the murky water and being shaken by the beast they were carrying back. They stabbed the beast to death but it was to late. The shroom was unresponsive.

But in respect he brought the Cap of his fallen friend back. He unties a vine from his back and produces a Cap. He hands you the Cap and walks off into the Jungle... There is no feasting on the body of the beast tonight... Instead a prayer is given in honor of the second fallen shroom hunter.

Your Shrooms throw themselves into work to aid the grieving process. A regiment of Miners go out. By that I mean the two miners with stone picks, as the rest have broken.

They return a bit later with a small haul of stone and a green stone.

A prayer is given in this most troubling of times. The cap of the fallen shroom is buried alongside the Shrine of nature. Prayers are given daily to the grave. Most shrooms try to stay out of the warming cave when not praying these days.

One day a shroom wandered down to pay respects F and reported to you the oddest news. The grave where the cap was buried has begun growing a small patch of the rare Glowflower. They aren't fully developed yet but when they are it will produce at least 10 glowflowers.

Getting this new material Copper into use is one of the top priorities as of now. Who knows how many uses it could have? A hardened rock that is stronger and can be shaped? Sun damn, that would be a huge boost.

You send for Scientist.

"Scientist, do you think it possible to make a pick of Copper?"

You can almost see a smile on his face... If it had a mouth that is. "Is that a question, Chief? Of course I could! Alas I cannot right now. The cold is getting worse... I doubt I could get a fire going hot enough to melt the bars. "

"Ahhh, I see"

"I will however work on something to speed the process along when the season comes."

The Eight remaining spearshrooms are lined up and practice. They stab and swing their caps of until the cold stops them from going any longer. They continue the next several days.

Well, well... This year has been jam packed with neat events. As such you feel it would be best to get your peoples opinion of the way things are going. You call the shrooms to the town hall. Some must even wait in a line to have their spores heard but they endure.

First is a large committee of the best miners the town has to offer. "Chief... Make mine. We stay, get rock all day... Who know what find besides green rock?"
The miners ask you make a proper mine and a place for them to stay.

Next a small group of 'Den Shrooms'. "The time we spend caring... The time raising truffles... Is good. Please... Find way to get more... With them may be the future... The future of our kind"
The 'Den Shrooms' ask you find a way to create a larger number of shroom infants.

Lastly the Priests. "Pray! Give tribute! Give thanks!" that's all they say. Then they leave.
Guess those two want those things.

The slingers are at it again. The death of the second spearman has them in a constant state of worry that it may be them next. They said they are having none of it. They get their stones together and begin training to be the best they can be.

You wonder if the the glowflower has any special properties to it. Thusly the best plan is to grind them up with some nutritious soil and a bit of blood from the creatures laying outside by the alter.

The result is an odd paste that glows yellow and radiates an even warmer heat than normal. With the 10 glowflowers you mashed up you got 5 small jars worth of the substance. You aren't sure what it does but the Scientist and Odd shroom take an interest in it.

Scientist wishes to take three of them and do experiments with it.

Priest shroom would have you give one to him to offer at the shrine of the sun and nature.

Or you could go with neither and keep it all.

You have been sneaking down to the Alter of the Goddess Shram on a frequent basis to observe these prayers and rituals that the priests have been creating. Seems pretty interesting.

The prayers continue.

One day the Priest of the Goddess Shrom passes out... He comes to several hours later with a vision. In a not so far away corner of the forest their grows a small shroom tree with a great cap. She tells him this tree must be protected or moved somewhere safe. If you do so before next winter she promises it will be a welcome gift. If not, the tree will die. It will shrivel up and die.

All the training goes well. The spearmen recruits have caught up with the mentors and the sparring matches are intense. The wooden armor is also tested to its limits. Its surprisingly strong for simple wood.

Let's hope it does not but should the time ever arise you have 3Armored(S)Shroom Spearmen, 5(S)Spearmen, 5(S) Slingers, and 12(T) Spearmen. All standing between you and any threat that may arise.

>Upgrades complete.

Armor creating is proving a harder effort than first thought. The cold outside is slowing down the efforts of collecting wood for additional armor study and creation. The scientists creating the armor are pretty sure of their abilities to recreate the armor but cannot collect wood in these conditions and not many shrooms would dare venture out long enough to collect more.

The god of sunlight may very well be laughing in your general direction. The sun is few and far between these days. The priests tell you the god of sunlight requires a shrine as well.

The shrine you pray to in the cave is a simple shrine of nature with no connection to the sun. The goddess of Nature has worked her hardest to convince him to shine himself upon the Jungle, but he doesn't respond to her any more.

The prayers are heard but the goddess of nature has her hands full with other matters. Perhaps if you complete her assignment the priests spoke of she will give you greater blessings?

Nature has cycles, so does the sun, it just time the suns need to hibernate. No shrine to the sun, it might make him sleep unrestfully.
>Pray.
>No sun shrine.
> Work on mine homes/outpost
Homes need to be insulated.

Don't forget. It's cold as shit outside still. Winter a bitch
>>

That's why the insulation, to keep what's inside warm and toasty,

Nvm then. More training, make elite slingers.

>Build a Shrine to the Sun
Place a fire in it and make sure it stays lit
>Host Festival with Music for the christening of the Shrine
And for the moral of the shrooms
>Wooden Armor
I know it's difficult for us to pull off but we need more suits for our spearmen

Wait where did our axeshrooms go?
Did they throw their weapons away in shame, as they never got to use them?

>train spearmen to reach the (S) level
>Research wooden armor
>resaarch better containers, for blood, food ect.

How about we do that festival and sun shrine, just before the spring, when our shrooms can actually stay outside longer. As we kinda have to build shrine outside, as it is Sun shrine.

[Without training the Axeshrooms aren't really militaristic. Like technically your Miners could be War Miners, but they aren't. They just cut the wood right now.]
>>

Ah that clears things up. Just confused as earlier they were mentioned together with spearshrooms and slingers.

Lets remember to give those gives some basic training for selfdefense, both miners and cutters are away from village a lot.

We should have room in the Warming Room for it and the Preist is saying that we're not properly praying to the Sun without one
>>
However. At some point a pick or actual axe may come in handy against particular enemies. Such as how a pick would be used against armor.

But that is an improvement you have no need for at the moment. Unless you fuck shit up royal or something.

Ofc, but it would be much more effective if the shrine where shrooms worship Sun, would be somewhere where sun could actually shine.
And we need to capture some creatures for blood rituals anyway.

I quess what sun god really wants is Aztec tier sacrifices...or we could just start ignoring him and praise Nature, surviving winters with her help only.

We need to murder our enemies but keep the blood. Open blood bars and use the bodies to grow our children.
