“Keep your head up, Saki.”

The rare times your grandfather would visit were a treat. A break from hiding in your room, shying away from the manor staff... there was never escaping piano recitals... but when the great Wei Kobashi would arrive, you would be granted a rare opportunity to do what you truly wanted... fight.

“Your strikes are weak,” Wei grumbles, blocking each punch as you spar in the garden. You're thankful he never disparaged the white gi you had picked out for the special occasion, though he doesn't have anything nice to say either.

You bite your lip. “Yes, grandfather. I'm sorry, I'm small.”

“I never said your strikes were small,” Wei replies. “I said they were weak. Do you consider yourself weak?”

“Well...”

Wei glares at you, and you feel the heat of a thousand suns radiating on your face as he does. “If you consider yourself weak, you are doomed to be weak. Stop holding yourself back.”

“B-but I'm not-”

“You are,” Wei interrupts. “Saki, I can sense an anger and aggression deep within you... but you're scared to unleash it. You're afraid to lash out and hurt someone... but you need to focus that anger, that energy.”

You pause. “I... but what if I can't?”

Wei stares at you, before sweeping his leg. You trip up and fall flat on your back onto the grass. “Then you will always be useless.”

Useless... worthless... an embarrassment. To the Kobashi name... you are all these things and more. Despite all your best efforts... you could never live up to the name.

“Saki, tell me. Do you know the Kobashi family sigil?”

You pick yourself up off the ground and begin to dust yourself off as you speak. “Of course, it's on your shield,” you answer. For so long you've looked at that shield and admired it. You dreamed of holding in your hands someday... an amusing sight, seeing as the shield is bigger than you are.

“And what exactly is emblazoned upon my shield?” Wei asks.

“A dragon.”

Wei nods. “Exactly. Do you know what the dragon represents, Saki? It represents power. Fortitude. Strength. The dragon is the most powerful beast, but it is not slave to it's animalistic instincts. It is intelligent, it is cunning... and above all else, it upholds honour. It focuses it's power, it's primal rage. It channels it into greatness.”

“Just like you did?” you ask.

“Precisely.”

You smile proudly. These moments with your grandfather... as rare as they are, it's always good to meet your hero. “Umm... grandfather? Do you... do you think I could do that? Do you think that I could be strong and powerful and...”

“Stop hesitating when you speak,” Wei grumbles. “If you wish to ask a question, ask it. Don't ever begin something without full intent to finish.”

“Right... Grandpa, do you think I could be like you someday?”

Wei stares at you, looking you up and down with an intense glare on his face. “Saki... you will never be like me.”

“Yo, Sak!” Ryoji snaps his fingers in front of your face, bringing you back to the present. Ryoji... the man who saved you. From your parents, from your rotten life... from yourself. And you've saved him plenty of times in return. That perfectly troublesome delinquent...

“Sorry jellybean,” you shake your head. “I suppose I kinda... zoned out.”

“A little star-struck from seeing your hero in that armour?” Ryoji smirks.

You pout. “He's not my hero. Not anymore.”

“I know, I know...” Ryoji replies. “I'm just teasing... so, he's gonna fight Tsuki with us, huh?”

“More like fight him for us,” Kosuke adds with a smirk. “No wonder so many of us are being told to fall back. In terms of power, guys like me are nothing more than meat sacks for Tsuki to target. Burdens. Wei... he's the only one that has a shot.”

Ryoji crosses his arms. “I don't like the sound of Wei swooping in and doing our work for us... but at a time like this I can't really complain about receiving a nuke as back-up. What about you, Sak?”

"And it gives me more of a reason to take a step back and relax," Kosuke adds.

You shake your head. "Kosuke, how can you be so lazy?"

Kosuke shrugs. "Not laziness this time. Just some self-preservation. I've got a wife to think about now... and maybe a kid on the way..."

"I'm sorry, what?" Ryoji asks.

"I'll explain later when the world's not ending."

Maro pulls out a walkie talkie from his back pocket, receiving some kind of message from the agents. "This is Agent Wh-*BUZZ*-your status, Maro?" the crackling voice calls out.

"Raiden Yoi is comatose, Hikaru Shirai is-"

"-I mean with the demons. Have they been beaten?"

Maro stares at the walkie talkie. "Our people are alive. Some of the kids need medical assistance so we're drawing them back-"

"-On who's orders? *BUZZ*-Need every last person available for-"

With that, Maro crushes the walkie talkie in his hand. "Bad signal."

"You're gonna get in trouble for that," you comment with a smile.

Maro nods. "Don't care."

"Akio, are you joining us?" you ask, noticing one of your class' heavy hitters holding onto an unconscious Hikaru.

"Sorry, boss..." Akio admits. "As much as I want the fight... I can't go abandoning Hikaru like this. I need to escort her back to where she can be safe."

You give an understanding nod. "No problem. I hope she makes it out of this okay."

"Me too..." Akio gives a small smile. "Good luck, boss. Catch you later."

"Goodbye, Akio."

As Akio wanders off, you're approached by another figure, none other than Kazuma Asai himself. "I want to help," he mutters, clutching his sword.

"Not a chance," you reply bluntly. "I'm sorry, but no freshman should be involved in-"

"This is my mess to clean up," Kazuma replies. "They were my classmates. It was my stone and my stubborness that caused this whole mess... I know I'm not a strong as you, Saki-senpai. I know I won't be the most help here... but I need to do this."

"Sticking through to the very end, huh kouhai?" Ryoji jokes, before reaching down and ruffling the hair of your underclassman.

"Don't do that, you ass!" Kazuma protests.

You turn your head to Wei, who has already begun advancing upon the building that Tsuki is holed up in with Taiyo. The eclipse in the sky is almost complete, and when it is... Tsuki would be too powerful for you to handle.If that happens...

"We don't have time to waste," Wei mutters. "If you're ready to fight, join me. If you're too weak, then leave. Make your decisions, quick."

"Are you ready for this, Kobashi?" Rei asks, as she approaches you.

You nod. "As ready as I'll ever be, Rei."

"Just you wait!" Rei laughs. "I bet I'll do a million times more damage to that demon creep than you will!"

"I hope you do," you smile warmly.

Rei grumbles. "Dammit Kobashi, you're supposed to try one-upping me..."

Rei lets out a sigh, before speaking again. "Hey... you're a good rival, Kobashi. Just thought I should throw that out there."

"Sorry..." you laugh, before receiving a small pat on the shoulder and smile from Rei before she moves on.

As you begin to move as well, Ryoji joins you. "You know, Sak... I have a pretty good feeling about this."

"Really?" she asks.

"Between the old geezer and the power stone, we still have quite a few things to use against him..."

Ryoji blanks out for a moment, likely being subject to a conversation between Stranger and Nina in his head. You can always tell by the exacerbated look on his face when those two are arguing. "What are they saying this time?" you ask.

"The usual," he sighs.

"No, my darling!" you hear a panicked Chihiro cry out. "You can't go with them! It's unsafe!"

You turn your head to see a distraught Chihiro clinging onto Sayeka. "I'm sorry, Chihiro..."

"Please, you absolutely must allow me to accompany-"

"It's too dangerous," Sayeka interrupts. "Chihiro, you're too hurt... you'll be killed if you join me."

Chihiro sniffles, wiping a tear away. "But... who will keep you safe?"

"Alice," Sayeka replies. "And Saki, and the others... I'm sorry, Chihiro. I must be there... for him."

Chihiro cups Sayeka's face in her hands. "I... I understand, darling... be careful. I love you, Sayeka. You are my most wonderful and dearest friend."

"And I love you," Sayeka replies. A quick kiss on the cheek from Chihiro, and the two part ways, Sayeka catching up to you.

"I certainly hope that I am not being a burden with my decision," Sayeka mentions, as graceful as ever.

You shake your head. "Of course not, your connection to Taiyo may prove very useful."

"I hope so..." Sayeka replies, and the hedgehog on her shoulder squeaks in agreement... or just squeaks. It is just a hedgehog, after all.

With that, Alice hops onto your back. You suppose the no freshman rule didn't extend to someone as powerful as her either.

"We're gonna punch that evil man in the face!" Alice smiles. "Off with his head!"

"Good to see you're so excited," Kaz remarks. "Despite the low numbers, I think we have a pretty good team here."

Ryoji nods. "Agreed. Sak, what's the plan?"

"You don't have one?" you ask. Ryoji's often the more tactical of the two of you. He plans, you lead. That's how it usually is.

"Tsuki's on the top floor of that building," Ryoji explains, "And the place is probably littered with Moon Beasts..."

"I'm worried for the people in there," Sayeka adds. "I doubt Tsuki allowed them to evacuate before taking control."

"So we have a bunch of Moon Beasts to fight through, potential civilian casualties, and we have a time limit?" Rei smirks. "Easy peesy, right Kobashi? So, what's the plan?"

"I've got you covered!" Rei smirk, as she hunkers down, getting into position to begin a sprint. "Just sit back... it's Rei Arisato's time to shine!"

As Rei hunkers down, she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. He eyes jolt open, and in a flash... she's gone.

Twenty seconds later, she returns with a salaryman thrown over one shoulder and a secretary thrown over another.

"Hey, what's going on?!" the secretary yells. "Put me down! Oh, that boy's looking up my skirt!"

"No I wasn't!" Kaz protests.

"Then how do you know she was talking about you, kouhai?" Ryoji teases. "She didn't point."

"I... shut up."

You approach Rei as she sets to two civilians down and dusts off her hands. "Is that everyone that's left."

"Afraid so..." Rei admits. "We were here far too late to help anyone else... if I had taken a second longer, I wouldn't have anyone to carry out..."

"Dammit, he'll pay for this..." Ken mutters, clenching his fist.

"It just had to be a skyscraper too," Kazuma points out. "He couldn't carry his ritual out in some hidden apartment somewhere. No, he had to show off to the entire world."

"Just measuring his dick for all to see," Ryoji mutters. "Come on, we need to move."

You and the group begin to move, as Rei pokes you in the arm. "Hey Kobashi, did you ever see your grandfather fight?"

"Not properly," you reply. "He gently sparred with me as a kid sometimes, but I've never seen him take on a demon."

"Well, you're gonna love this..." Rei smirks.

... You're gonna love this? What does that mean? You can't find yourself loving anything about the man who was once your hero anymore... not after the way he and the rest of your family have treated you.

You walk in through the main entrance of the building, to see Wei marching down the foyer with purpose. The foyer, likely the entire building is crawling with those powerful moonbeasts, but Wei... he just keeps marching on, ignoring them. One leaps towards him, but Wei catches it by the throat before casually slamming it head first into a wall, squashing it like a bug.

For a moment, you remember why you admired him in the first place. That big tough old dragon... you wish you had his strength.

"Gotta admit, that was pretty cool," Ryoji shrugs, as Wei makes his way towards the stairs and starts moving up them.

"Doesn't trust the elevator, huh?" Rei remarks.

Ken laughs. "Don't blame him. I have the jitters with them too. Nanami made a deal that if I take an elevator in a high-rise building, she'd put more effort into learning to swi-sorry, not important right now."

"Are we following Wei's path?" Sayeka asks.

"Right," Ryoji nods. "We gotta take down these beasts and clear a way for Class 3, help them stay fresh for Tsuki."

"Agreed, let's go!" you exclaim, as you ready your lance and launch yourself at one of the beasts. Seeing Wei destroy one so handily inspired you to give your all as well, piercing through one of the beasts with ease, tearing it apart.

"Nice one, Kobashi!" Rei yells. "Now, watch this!

Rei disappears in a flash, buzzing around the room while picking away at the beasts.

"Sayeka, look out!" Ken yells as he tackles the blind member of the group to the floor as a Moon Beast charges. "Can't you see them with your visions?"

"I can't see anything created by Tsuki..." Sayeka explains. "Whatever spell he uses to hide himself is still in effect for me."

Ryoji distracts one of the beasts with his firework gauntlet allowing you to drive your lance down into it's back.

Another beast leaps at you from the side, but is soon taken down with a bullet. You turn your head to see Maro with a smoking rifle.

"Let's keep moving," Maro replies. "The Moon Beasts are merely a distraction. The real threat lies ahead."

Rei zips back to the main foyer. "We're gonna take on Tsuki now, huh? Oh yeah, I'm ready to roll!"

The moment is coming... Tsuki, an all-powerful demon. You have no idea if you're prepared for this... but you see Rei's cocky smirk and Ryoji's confident face... you can bring yourself to bring up the reality of the situation.

You turn to make a move, but Maro places a hand on your shoulder. "Kobashi, wait a moment."

"What is it Maro-senpai?" you ask.

Maro shakes his head. "Saki... I need you to make me a promise. If things get too dangerous... you and your class will retreat, and leave this to the rest of us."

You raise an eyebrow. "Do... you not trust our abilities."

"I want to minimise casualties," Maro explains. "You're not a senior, Saki... you're not ready for this fight yet. Promise me, you'll run the first chance you get. We will stay and fight on your behalf."

"Hmm..." Maro mutters. "I guess you're right. Okay, Saki... do me proud."

Maro nods as he heads directly for the stairs, his class following in his wake.

"Come on, guys!" you announce. "It's time to go!"

You rush ahead... but someone grabs you by the hand. You turn around, to face... Ryoji? What the heck?

"Ryoji, is there something wrong?" you ask.

"Besides the end of the world?" Ryoji teases and smirks. "You should really try to be more on the ball, Sak."

Geez... every time he does this, your face heats up so pleasantly... "Then what is it?"

"Stranger and Nina were talking," Ryoji explains, "And they made a suggestion. You see, I've never used this stone while Nina was conscious in my mind, and we're a little hesitant to find out what would happen if I did..."

You pause. "Right... but there's still a chance that you might have to use it..."

"Yeah, but Nina doesn't necessarily have to be in my mind when I use it."

"Huh?" you raise an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"Nina is a consciousness within my mind," Ryoji explains. "But Stranger is able to temporarily place her within someone else's mind... as long as she isn't disconnected from Stranger for too long, she'll be fine."

"So..." you mutter. "Ryoji, are you suggesting that you transfer Nina over to me?"

"Just for the length of the battle," Ryoji explains. "I get if that's weird... but I don't like the risk this stone holds for Nina."

"I'm trying to sound amped up, like Rei!" you explain with a smile on your face. Gotta stay hyped up for the coming fight, gotta stay positive. "Come on, let's roll with it! Bring it on! Let's go all out-"

Ryoji stares at you blankly. "Sak, gonna need you to stop... whatever that was. Okay... get ready for this..."

Ryoji slowly places his hand to you face. He smiles as he gently strokes your cheek, and you look up at him... at a time like this, before a dangerous battle, you just want to kiss that face... but you have to remain composed. What kind of leader would you be if you didn't? Ryoji places his fingers to your temple and closes his eyes. You follow suit... and soon your ears begin ringing, you start to feel dizzy...

"Sak, look out!"

You collapse from the dizziness, but Ryoji is there to grab you. Your eyes adjust to see him standing over you, brushing some hair out of your eyes as you begin to speak. "Did... did it work?"

"Well, why don't you ask her?" Ryoji replies.

"Hello? Hello?" A voice in your head calls out.

You close your eyes, and... there she is. Plain as day standing before you. She even gives a little bow.

"Saki... it feels so good to be able to speak to you where you can hear me... though I wish it was under some less... stressful circumstances."

"Agreed," you smile. "So... this is the voice inside my boyfriend's head."

"One of them, yes..." Nina blushes. "Sorry for cluttering up his mind."

"Oh, I'm sure it's full of fireworks and dirty magazines," you joke. "It's good to see you, Nina."

"The same goes for you, Saki... but may I ask a question?"

"Sure."

"Why are you terrified?"

You pause. "T-terrified? I'm not terrified?"

"Saki, I live within you mind. I know how you feel... you're scared, you're hesitant for this upcoming battle...

"Imagined what?"

"The pressure you're living under."

"Hey, what are you two waiting around for?!" Rei yells from the top of the stairs. "Get up here!"

You look to Ryoji, who gives a simple shrug. "It's showtime, Sak. Let's go."

You rush up the stairs, clutching to your lance, your palms sweating as you make your way up to the top.

As you reach the top, you see the others approaching a large pair of double doors on the top floor.

"Are you ready?" Wei asks.

"Yep!" Alice yells, pumping her fist.

Wei stares at Alice, glaring at her for a moment. "Alice... very well. We don't have time to waste."

Without hesitation, Wei kicks down the twin doors, revealing Tsuki standing in the middle of a room painted with a series of patterns... formed in salt.

"Salt..." Kazuma mutters to himself, as Tsuki turns around.

"Ah!" Tsuki smirks, patting the head of the still stone Taiyo, who's body is propped up in the centre of a salt circle at the end of the room. "The ants have risen to the top of the hill! I take it that you-"

Tsuki can't even begin to monologue... Wei doesn't let him do that before hitting him with a fist in the face. Tsuki stumbles back, before drawing his sword, but Wei blocks it with his own greatsword.

"They're fighting already..." Ken remarks. "And Wei's got him by surprise..."

You hear a loud squeaking behind you, as Sayeka's hedgehog notices Taiyo in the middle of the room.

"He's here..." Sayeka mutters, as she begins to rush towards him at the hedgehog's behest.

You reach out and grab Sayeka by the hand. "Sayeka, no!"

You pull her back to the group as the hedgehog whines and cries. "Saki?"

"They're fighting," you explain. "You're smarter than to rush into danger... you'll be killed if you try to get anywhere close to him."

Sayeka pauses, and hangs her head low. "Yes... I'm sorry, Saki. I don't know why I was so reckless."

"I feel bad for her..."

"Same here," you reply. "But there's no use in her getting herself hurt by running in without a plan."

Wei throws another punch at Tsuki, beating him down to the ground.

"Oh, the old man has some fight in him, huh?"

Wei answers with another fist, before grabbing his sword and swinging it down upon Tsuki... who moves out of the way. Wei's sword smashes through the floor of the room, and you begin to realise the dangerous situation you're in. This much power in close quarters combat... if either of them keep fighting for even a few more seconds, this whole building is going to come crumbling down.

"What do we do?" Ken asks. "We don't exactly have the room to bust out an all-out attack on the guy..."

"The salt," Ryoji explains. "The salt is arranged in some sort of pattern. All we have to do is disrupt it and ritual broken, right?"

You nod. "Right! Now, let's not waste time!"

You move forward and begin to kick at the salt with your feet.

"Just what do you think you're doing?" Tsuki asks.

"Disrupting this ritual!" You reply, pointing your finger dramatically at him. "And ending your evil ways!"

Tsuki looks at you... and burst into laughter. "Oh, you children really are fools! The ritual was completed before you even got here! All that awaits... is The Eclipse!"

What?! So... there's no stopping it...

"Saki, don't lose hope!"

"So, as soon as that Eclipse in the sky is complete, you'll take your true form?" Wei asks.

"Indeed!" Tsuki laughs as he still clashes blades with Wei. "All I have to do is place my hands on Taiyo during the Eclipse and-GAH!"

With that, Wei slices Tsuki's hands clean from his body.

"If that's the case..." Wei mutters as he holds onto his greatsword with both hands. "I'll just have to bury you both in the rubble."

With that, Wei drives his blade into the ground... and it all begins to fall apart. The floor cracks open beneath you and you begin to slide down the wreckage of the skyscraper, the entire building collapsing from the ground up. You slip through the floor, quickly grabbing your shield and placing it beneath you so that you can at least slide on it.

"Sak!" Ryoji yells as he grabs you hand, only for the ground to give way and for him to be dragged along with you. He joins you on the shield as you fall down below, sliding on an incline of wreckage and rubble before being launched out of a 30th floor window, falling to the floor below. That crazy old man... he didn't even hesitate to destroy everything around him to kill a single demon.

Ryoji still has a hold of your hand, but you can't see him. The force of the wind on your face as you descend is too strong for you to focus on anything. The cold hard earth is approaching closer... you doubt that you could survive this drop. "Ryojiiiiiiiiiiiii!" you cry out in fear as you descend... right into a portal that forms beneath you. You fall through... and are hit by a series of black vines in rapid succession. They hurt... a lot... but you notice that they are slowing your fall. As you fall through the end of the vines, you fall through yet another portal, leading you... face first into concrete. But hey, at least the vines slowed your fall!

You groan as you lie on the hard floor, your butt in the air... as your shield falls from above, whacking you in the head and bouncing before planting itself in front of you. The first thing you see when you come to is the dragon emblazoned upon the shield... the Kobashi family sigil.

"Wei... you crazy old bastard..." Ryoji groans, as you look around to see that Alice's portals saved the rest of the students as well... but Wei is nowhere to be seen.

You pick yourself to your feet and you look around at the others. Most of them seem to have been hurt in the wreckage... but Tsuki can't be found.

"Is... Is this it?" Nina asks. "Is it over?"

"No..." you mutter. "It's never that easy."

As if his ears were ringing, the rubble shakes and explodes, as Tsuki makes his way through it.

"You bastards..." Tsuki cries, his hands still missing from his body. "Where did... he's here. He must be here somewhere... I'll find him. You won't stop me!"

Tsuki begins to kick away the wreckage, clearing vast swathes of the rubble at a time in an attempt to uncover the statuesque Taiyo. "I WILL BECOME... COMPLETE!"

"Aaaaand, he's losing it," Rei sighs, as she stands by your side.

"Are you still fit to fight?" you ask.

"I think I'm one of the few who are," she replies.

You nod. "Good... something tells me that even without his hands, Tsuki's still dangerous."

"He's an archdemon. As long as he's still breathing... he's a threat."

You turn to Rei as she readies her sword, and she gives a small laugh. "What?" you ask her.

"I've always wanted something like this," Rei remarks. "Fighting side by side with my greatest rival... and friend."

You smile and nod. "Okay, Rei... let's do this."

As Tsuki continues to tear away at the rubble, you and Rei formulate a plan of attack.

You and Rei ready your weapons and begin to move. Rei is faster than you, she can get more hits in with the blade. All you need to do is come in with the shield in time to keep her safe. Together, the two of you are able to cover the others deficiencies... work as a team.

Rei speeds towards Tsuki with her blade, but he's fast enough to duck even from her attack. She swings again and Tsuki leaps back, and readies an attack of his own. He kicks forward... but that's where you come in. You leap to Rei's aid, tanking the hit with your shield. The sheer force of his shot is enough to send you flying back, but in doing so you allow Rei the opening to attack again, this time slicing along Tsuki's neck. While he's distracted, you toss your shield at him. He leaps up and stomps on the shield as it hurdles through the air, pining it down... only for Rei to stab him through the chest from behind. He kicks Rei back, and you tackle him to the ground.

Tsuki tosses you off, but you grab your shield as he does and hold it back up, as Tsuki comes running for you.

Tsuki charges at you and kicks hard, hard enough that your shield does little good in holding him back. You are sent flying into a heap on the ground... though if you didn't raise your shield in time, that foot may just have kicked your head clean off.

You try to pick yourself off the ground, but begin to crumple. Tsuki laughs as he hunkers down, placing the hilt of his sword in his teeth. He leaps up and charges at you... but Rei zips in just in time to clash blades with him. "Pick yourself up, Kobashi!" Rei yells. "You gotta be stronger than that if you want to-GAH!"

Tsuki slashes Rei across the chest, causing her to fall to a knee. Tsuki knocks her aside before placing his foot directly over hers. "You're a runner, aren't you?" he smirks... before stomping on Rei's ankle. A sickening crunch is heard, and Rei screams in pain as Tsuki lets out a laugh.

"He shattered her ankle... Saki, this is bad. Is there anything you can do?"

"I... I..."

"Sak... Saki..." Rei grunts as she remains pinned under Tsuki. "At... at the tournament, you were about to hit a move... now might be a good time to..."

"It... It's too risky..."

"And now's not the time for risks?!" Rei yells. "Dammit Kobashi, stop playing by the book! We need this!"

The move she's talking about... if it goes wrong, it could prove disastrous. But it may be your only shot at keeping Tsuki down... the eclipse is almost complete...

"Ha, you're all frozen up!" Tsuki gloats. "What's the matter? Realising just how hopeless this is? I'm not judging... you're already smarter than the rest of these pathetic peons. None of them understand just how perfect I am."

"You're going to die," you remark casually.

Tsuki pauses. "Am I now? Well-"

Before he can finish, Tsuki is blasted in the face with a round from Ryoji's fireworks gauntlet. "NOW, SAK!" he yells. "DO IT NOW!"

You nod, and ready your lance. "Here it goes..."

You concentrate on the technique... the technique you've never had to pull out until now... a technique you're not sure you can even do... requiring incredible strength, fortitude... and just a hint of magic...

You close your eyes, and your lance begins to increase in size as you hold it in the air. Not only that, it begins to glow with a burning hot bright light... an enchantment given to the weapon by Hoshi, one that makes it nigh impossible to wield to all but the most powerful of humans... let's hope you really are one of those.

"W-what is this?!" Tsuki yells, his eyes blinded by the light. "PUT IT AWAY!"

"That's not all..." you smile. "Now it's time to face my ultimate attack!"

You bring your lance that is now three times your size down and thrust forward at Tsuki with full intent to kill.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!"

With a passionate scream, you shove the lance into Tsuki, impaling him... but you're not finished yet. The light energy from the lance unloads into Tsuki, a pillar of light bursting from him and surrounding him as he screams in pain.

When the light is gone, so it Tsuki... reduced to ash. Exhausted, you collapse into a heap.

The first thing you see when you wake up is a paid of lips that you rush to kiss.

"Whoa, and here I thought you were out of energy?" Ryoji chuckles after the quick exchange. "Apparently not too exhausted to get frisky."

"Ryojiiiiiiiiii!" you exclaim, as you feel your face getting warmer. You take a look around. "My grandfather... where is he?"

"We haven't found him in the rubble yet," Ryoji admits. "That little hedgehog helped Sayeka find Taiyo, but... we're still looking for the old bastard."

"Hey, over here!" you hear Ken yell by a piece of rubble. That rubble proceeds to explode, sending Ken flying onto his butt, as Wei frees himself, wild-eyed and pissed-off. He spots you, and begins to approach as you pick yourself off the ground.

"Saki..."

After the battle you just fought... in this moment, you don't see Principal Wei before you. You don't see the great authoritarian, the great warrior... you don't even see your hero... no, you simply see your Grandfather. You run into him and wrap your arms around his bulking frame and hug him tight.

"S-Saki...?"

"Shhh," you shush him. "Just... let me have this."

To your shock, Wei returns the hug. You can't see his face, but you like to think that he's smiling.

Oh no... he's right. This wasn't a natural eclipse. It was supposed to go away when Tsuki died, but... there it is, plain as day.

"But..." Ryoji mutters. "Then how can-"

"LET GO OF ME, YOU JABBERWOCKY!"

Alice's voice. No, anyone but Alice.

You spin around to see him... Tsuki, holding onto Alice with his blade pointed at her throat.

"Surprised?" Tsuki smirks. "You shouldn't be. The false moon I set up there? As long as I'm bathed in it's glow, I can heal."

"Dammit..." Ryoji mutters. "I thought it was over..."

"Alice, throw him into your dimension!" Kaz yells.

"She can't do that while he's holding onto her," Maro explains. "Besides, she won't be able to contain an Archdemon... he's too powerful."

"Let her go, boy..." Wei warns. "Or I swear you will wish you were dead."

Tsuki laughs. "I'll let her go... as soon as I get what I want..."

Tsuki stares at the statuesque Taiyo, who is currently being sheltered by Sayeka.

"Master!" Concordia yells, leaping towards Tsuki... only to be slashed by a wave of energy, collapsing before Tsuki.

"So, what's your answer?" Tsuki smirks, pressing his blade to a scared Alice's throat. "Better answer quick, we're working on a time limit."

No... this can't be happening...

"Give him what he wants," Wei mutters. "If he wants to become complete... we'll just beat him while he's complete."

"We... we can't..."

"Do we have a choice?" Wei growls.

Okay I'm going to make one more post as clear and non-bombastic as possible.
We have multiple laser based attacks and we know that this moon is a magical construct, so it should be possible to blow it up.

I will admit this choice has just as much risk as the other two, but I would also argue it has the highest possible gain.

Tsuki obviously doesnt expect it which would give alice time to escape, it would mean he wouldnt be able to ascend because he has to do that under an eclipse, and also it works from a symbolism point of view as it would be destroying the moon to kill the moon.

You can't let Tsuki reach his true form... you have to stop him. He can hold Alice hostage... but you can save her. You have to.

You ready your lance, as Tsuki holds his sword closer to Alice's neck as she shivers in fear. "Come now, do you honestly think you can make it to me before I slice her throat? Don't be ridiculous. How about you just turn around, grab that statue and-GAH!"

As Tsuki speaks, a dagger flies through the air, impaling itself into his sword hand. He loses his grip in the shock as Alice breaks free, rushing to a safe distance, and you can't help but smile. Typical of him not to expect the blind girl could tell where he was by listening out for his voice. Turns out the constant running of his mouth came back to bite him after all.

"That is Chihiro's niece..." Sayeka mutters, rising to her feet. "Alice is family! I will not let you take my family away!"

"Damn you all!" Tsuki yells. "Fine, I'll just fight through you all! You can't keep him from me! He is a part of me! I... I just want to be complete!"

Tsuki readies his blade and moves to charge through the rest of you, but is quickly barrelled back by a charging Wei who rams into him. Wei stomps on his chest and drives the Greatsword into him. It seems Wei's intention was to pin him to the ground, but the breath of the blade is enough to slice the thin Tsuki in half by the waist.

Surprisingly, this is a mistake on Wei's part. Tsuki's torso dissolves, as his lower half rises to it's feet and begins running... as the rest of his body reforms with it.

"Damn, he keeps healing!" Ryoji yells. "Stop him!"

Tsuki pushes past all of you, scrambling towards Taiyo. He's desperate, the eclipse isn't going to last much longer... if you can just hold him back...

He pushes past you and leaps through the air, hoping to land on the statue, but he is caught at the leg by Taka and falls just short of his target.

"Nice try, pal!" Taka grunts, straining to hold him back. "You ain't getting anywhere!"

"D-damn you all..." Tsuki mutters as his hand reaches out, his hand just an inch away from Taiyo. "You... can't stop me!"

With one last burst of strength, Tsuki reaches out... and with a single fingertip, makes contact with Taiyo.

"YES... YEEEEEEEEEEEES!" Tsuki screams, as he and the statue begin to glow. The moon and sun in the sky begin to brighten, as the two demons float up into the sky. "I AM COMPLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETE! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"No... No!" Sayeka yells.

"BEHOLD..." a ghostly voice cries out from the ball of energy formed by the two men. "THE ECLIPSE."

The ground begins to crack beneath your feet. This power... it's unbelievable...

The ball of energy floats above the skyscraper's rubble, and it begins to rebuild itself. Not into it's original form... no, in the shape of a pyramid. A bright gold pyramid, as testament to a great ego. And atop it... the ball of energy takes shape. It bends and stretched, reaching out to colossal size.

As the light finally unveils itself, before you lies the largest demon you've ever seen... a massive winged serpent, displayed in it's full glory. This is Tsuki and Taiyo in their true form.

"NOOOOOOOOW..." The Eclipse announces. "I SHALL TAKE THIS WORLD... AND SHAPE IT IN MY IMAGE..."

"I... I can see it..." Sayeka mutters. "It's... it's terrifying..."

"We have to defeat it... most of you, fall back. You won't stand a chance against it... at this rate, you're a burden on the rest of us. You know who you are."

"What?!" Rei exclaims. "Saki, Ryoji... we can't just abandon you!"

Geez... you can't believe Ryoji would lash out at him at a time like... wait, that wasn't Ryoji's voice.

No... that was yours.

"Whoa, Sak..." Ryoji mutters. "Did you just say that?"

"What did you just say to me?" Wei growls.

"You heard me," you reply again, on complete instinct. "I said shut the hell up, you old geezer."

"Umm... Saki? Is this really the time to-"

"My whole life you've done nothing but put me down!" you yell. "I wasn't good enough for this, I wasn't good enough for that, I wasn't good enough for anything! Well, you know what? You're not good enough for me... and I don't have to play by your rules anymore."

"Saki..." Wei mutters.

"You were my hero growing up..." you add, gripping your lance and spear tightly, "But some special people made me realise... my only hero is myself. I need to be able to believe in myself! In my own principles! And you can either become a believer in Saki Kobashi... or you can be left in the dust, old man."

Wei stares at you, his cold icy glare out in full force... but it doesn't freeze you up like all those times it did before. You're not afraid anymore.

Finally... Wei cracks a smile. The tiniest smile you could ever see... but a smile all the same. "Come then... let's defeat this monster."

"Right," you nod. "Together."

"You're a horrible influence on her," he remarks to Ryoji.

Ryoji chuckles. "Don't blame me... that was all Sak."

Now... it's time to finish this. Take down The Eclipse once and for all, with your grandfather at your side.

"So... what's your plan of attack?" Wei asks.

You raise an eyebrow. "Huh?"

"You were going to prove yourself to me, weren't you?" he replies. "I'll take your suggestion."

"On it's back?" Ryoji asks. "I mean... that's a big back."

"All the better," you reply. "He won't notice us that way. Look at him... he's too busy slithering around that pyramid, basking in his own greatness to care about us anymore. He doesn't think we can hurt him."

"But I can," Wei nods. "Come on."

The three of you make your way to the back of the pyramid, climbing up the back of it as you scout out the end of The Eclipse's tail. It doesn't take long to find... considering it comes swinging by, it's massive weight shifting around the pyramid. Ryoji pulls you down in order to stop the thing from taking your head off.

"How are we supposed to get on that thing?" Ryoji asks. "He's completely restless. He's slithering around like he's humping the damn thing, there's no way we can get the-"

Wait, that sound... it sounds like... singing? You recognise that voice.

"And what is it with his-"

You poke Ryoji in the arm. "Quiet down a second! Listen!"

"Is..." Ryoji begins. "Is that Sayeka? Why is she singing?"

"That's not important," Wei replies. "What's important is that the serpent has calmed."

"She calmed it down... kept it focused on her voice..."

"Maybe there's a piece of Taiyo that's still calling the shots in there," you remark. "Come on, let's get on that tail."

"Damn, I can't jump that high..." Ryoji remarks, looking up at the height of even the tip of the tail. "How am I-"

Ryoji doesn't have to finish his question before Wei grabs him by the scruff of the neck and tosses him skyward, landing him atop the snake.

"Grandpa!" you protest.

"He'll be fine," Wei replies. "You next."

Before you know it, you're being grabbed and thrown up onto the back of the Archdemon, being caught by Ryoji as you do. "Easy there, Sak..." he smiles, holding you in his arms... awfully close... wait, now is the absolute worst time for that!

Wei joins you up on the creatures back with an impressive leap, and together, the three of you scale the massive back of the Eclipse, soon reaching it's head.

"How has he not noticed us by now?" you ask.

"Sayeka's still singing... that's still working."

"Perfect," Wei remarks. "Time to defeat this demon in a single blow."

"A single what?" you ask.

"Saki, stand back..." Wei remarks. "I'm going to put all of my energy into this attack."

Wei holds his Greatsword high above him, positioning it directly above the head of the Eclipse. "NOW... FEEL THE WRATH OF THE DRAGON!" Wei exclaims, before driving his blade deep into the top of the head of Eclipse. The demon leads out a vicious roar as Wei's blade heats up, expelling a massive blast of energy as it does.

The Eclipse tosses the three of you from it's head... with the unconscious Wei falling off out of your reach.

"No, grandpa!" you yell.

No, his descent... the collision will kill him.

Thankfully, a portal opens up, with Alice catching Wei and savign him, while you're able to grab Ryoji and slow your descent with your shield and his gauntlet operating as makeshift parachute and jetpack respectively. Looking up, you can see that the Eclipse wasn't killed, but Wei's strike did considerable damage to it.

You land on your feet, Sayeka standing before you. "I must apologise, Saki..." she adds. "I know you told me to fall back, but... I couldn't."

Sayeka bows, her hedgehog giving a little squeak as she does. "Yes, Saki... Ryoji... I hope you can defeat him. Farewell."

"Don't farewell us Sayeka," Ryoji smirks. "This is just a see you later."

"Of course," Sayeka smiles, before running to safety.

"How are we going to do this?" you ask.

Ryoji shrugs. "Don't sound so tense, Sak. We still have one last weapon against this big guy."

"That's right, the power stone."

"Are you ready to use it?" you ask.

Ryoji looks to you and nods. "Ready as I'll ever be... just the two of us now. Let's do this, Sa-"

Before your eyes even have time to adjust, the massive tail of The Eclipse launches forward, hitting Ryoji directly... sending him flying across the entire city.

"RYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"

"STRANGER!"

As the dust settles from the attack, Ryoji is nowhere to be seen... and the power stone remains in the rubble.

"No... Ryoji..." you gasp.

"Saki, the stone! If Eclipse gets his hands on it, he could get even stronger!"

You want to move, but your legs are frozen. Eclipse sees the stone, and he knows to move towards it, hoping to grab it in his mouth... but he's beaten to the punch. Beating by a black-haired kid from Class 1. Kazuma clutches the stone in his grip, as he looks over to you.

"Oh no..." you mutter. Kazuma is the worst person who could have grabbed that thing. "Kazuma-kun... give me the stone."

Kazuma stares at the stone with wide-eyes, the looks back at you, then back to the stone... transfixed.

"Kazuma... please..." you plead, breathing heavily and fighting back tears in your fear.

Kazuma looks back to you and smiles, before flicking the stone through the air. You catch it, as he gives a knowing nod. "Finish it."

"But... how?" you mutter. "It... It's just me left. Wei... Alice... even Ryoji... they can't fight anymore. What can I do? I... I'm useless."

"That's not true, Saki. You can do this."

"But... how?"

"Use the stone."

"Only Ryoji can use the stone!" you protest. "It doesn't work on humans!"

"That's true... but Stranger admitted something earlier. That stone... it doesn't just increase the strength of Archdemons... it powers up Archangels, as well."

Archangels? What is she talking about?
