Summary: In this quest, we're basically playing as a slowly mutating soviet who secretly supports the monarchy and hates the communists. We've managed to escape the Russians, and now we're in 1939 Nazi-occupied Warsaw.

Character Sheet will be up soon.

Announcement: EDQ is going to be on delay for a while, I just find it a bit boring currently and I find this new and exciting...

You drowsily blink your eyes slowly... You have the worst headache imaginable, along with making things worse, no vodka or steak... Or vodka-steaks.

You turn over on the couch, and find yourself needing to use the restroom, and as you get up... You really do notice that it's much easier to see and see in the dark as well.

Huh.

You head to the restroom, and begin to use it... After your done, you go to check out your face...

Your... Well, your eyes seem a bit different... There's a slight, slight glow to them, and they seem to have turned the iris from blue to... Well, dark blue.

You also note that your eye pupils have become slightly larger in the dim light, and go back to normal with more light... Same with the slight glow of them too. The glow itself is a bit off-putting, and has the slight shade of blue to it as well...

Certainly strange.

You of course, desire little more then to crawl into a bed, eat something greasy, and possibly either die or sleep. Or both.

You of course leave, and notice Big Ivan's sleeping in his small bedroom, while you have the couch...
Nicely enough, he gave you a blanket and pillow... Or did you steal them? You can't remember... All you want however, is to lay down and let this hangover fall off...

Actions

>...Today is your day off. Rest until the hangover goes away...
>...You can do things today. You just... You need some extra encouragement, that's all you need... (Lose 1 Sanity, -1 to all rolls today, but you'll do stuff rather then rest.)
>...Grease... Grease is how true Russians get rid of hangovers... Along with water. Lots of water.

Let's find some guns.
>>
Going to wait for one more vote anons.
>>
Gonna be a long wait.
>>
Well, since this isn't a major decision, I'll continue along. Usually I wait until 3 anons are alive to do sanity losing actions.

Stojan's sanity is reduced to two.

You decide to tough out your hangover.

You lay on the couch and decide what to do...

Actions

> Try to get Big Ivan to join your resistance movement?
> Maybe the Germans may be interested in assisting you against the Soviets?
> Look into securing firearms?
> Try to recruit some people against the Soviets!
> You should search or rejoin your battalion.

There is either a black market, or a pitiful resistance movement we can steal from.

So do anons want to try and find weapons or try and get the Germans to help or supply you with guns?

Fuck it let's see if they would be willing to supply a militia. But if we are going to get the Germans help, we should get the people first.
>>
And I'm too slow.
>>
Oh, well, looks like anons want to get German help...

You decide to try and get German assistance... Though it's quite likely you'll need more supporters... Or they may be willing to even give you some assistance in manpower.

What do anons?

>Try to get German help... (May make you indebted to Germany and you'll be expected to be loyal to Germany. If anyone finds out your connected, it may have consequences.)

>>
You decide to get up, and try to find a Nazi requisitions officer.

The nearest requisition's officer you hear about is apparently in Warsaw's Wehrmacht Command, and judging from what the Polish resistance has been doing, is under heavy guard and likely is unapproachable by normal civilians.

You decide to try and find a commanding officer, which could be rather hard...

You decide to go to the time-honored tactic of asking bartender questions...

Roll me a 1d20 for finding opportunities.

+1 if you can think what this proposition will entail...

Surely the logistics department is having a problem with the resistance stealing shit and cutting supply lines. There could even be something as simple as a message that needs to be delivered. Stuff that we could probably give a hand in if he's willing to let go of a crate of rifles or sub machine guns, with ammo.

You hear that the local driver of the SS regiment commander was fired, and they're looking for "Category 1" citizens to drive him around for 15 Reichmarks per hour... Which is roughly 30 zloty.

The only other things that can give you advantage is to look for less important jobs or opportunities.

Ignore my roll.
>>
There's a few ads...

One's for a proof-reader in the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda... Which is an amazingly lucrative position if you can indeed get the job... 20 Reichmarks per hour, and a chance to rise up in the ranks of the German propaganda ministry... Though you'll be in charge of flagging "illicit" materials and making sure no mistakes get through to the printing press... And maybe in the future influence citizens...
Not to mention it's slightly fufilling a dream of yours... Being a writer and all that...

Only Category 1 citizens can apply to this job, which luckily your a part of.

You continue to search...

Ignore my roll.
>>
You find in the papers something interesting...

There's an advertisement in the papers to join the Nazi Party, with quite a few benefits... Such as relaxed conditions to own firearms... The right to join the SS... Reduced taxes... Less scrutiny from the government...

Only Category 1 and 2 civilians can join the Nazi Party, it seems... As of right now.

>>
>>1429950
makes since, we are a former soldier with gurella combat experience
>>
Alright. Maybe find a sympathetic party member with some wealth?
>>
You of course, decide to go through the process of signing up for the party...
You send a copy of your ID and passport in to your local office... In a few days time they'll call you down to ask you questions to determine if your eligible enough...

After this is done, you'll have greatly improved relations with Nazis, decreased regulations on what you can own, and a bit more trust with local authorities... And the ability to run for public office.

After that's done with, you of course continue to look into gaining access to firearms...

Big Ivan seems willing to help you when you get back to his place, and he talks about a few things he's heard...

>...Apparently, the Hitler Youth has a small cottage where some hunting rifles and guns are held for training the kids. There's a watchman though, to make sure no one steals them. (Very Low Reward, Almost no risk.)
>The Waffen SS apparently raided a small town and executed dissidents and has been rumored to have summarily executed Jewish civilians. Anyways, I'm going to roll for where anons want to go... Though if anons don't exactly decide in 10 more minutes, something may happen.

You decide to go to the Hitler Youth...

As you leave the city, you hear... Air raid sirens.

You look up to the sky to notice a wing of bombers en course to Inner Warsaw... Heavy bombers, too.

Actions

>...Take cover from the bomber raid?
>...Just get out of here as fast you can. You shouldn't be in the target zone, your in the German-controlled area...

The bombing raid occurs in Inner Warsaw, and you take shelter in a nearby house...

You hear a crash hit upstairs, but there seems to be no explosion... You look out to the city, and they are in fact, dropping bombs... The window in front of you breaks from a small explosive hitting the street, but luckily does no harm to you.

That's when you feel the air heat up immensely, and you start to smell smoke...

As you look outside, you notice fireballs have begun to emerge across the city.. It seems like the Germans are firebombing Warsaw! And one of those bombs just hit this house!

You begin to cough from the smoke,

You decide to upgrade your stomach...

You can't help but vomit in the forest from the amount of alcohol and pain your feeling...

You eventually get up, and feel a very strong craving for meat, vodka, and something to eat.

Stojan can eat food without consequence if it's barely cooked, and can eat meat over vegetables and fruits. Stojan can still eat those foods.

Your body feels quite bloated, if your organs grow any more you might have a problem.

You continue on to the cabin, and it comes into range.

The cabin itself seems to have some smoke coming from inside of it, from a chimney. Someone is living in it.

There's also a small sign saying in German "Gun Range", and there's a locked metal cabinet full of Karabiner rifles.

I´m not into making it an ethnicity thing, but making external (such as temperature, humidity of the air or such, explained by the serum making the human adapt to the inmediate environment in a suitable species) or maybe we could involve the psychollogy of the one taking the "vaccine" the major factor behind the change.

That depends if you want to create a kind of "intelligent" serum or keep a bit more scientific and make each variation of the serum have a different werebeast associated. Additionally, you could meet halfway and make the animal a thing determined by the serum and the concrete species a thing determined by external factors. Example: Weresnake, made by an Indian laboratory, which is inyected into a very petty but coward person. He turn into a small but very poisonous snake, like a reef snake.

There's also a eight-year-old boy child, called Syzmon. He's quite curious, and asks you plenty of questions, such as where your from, what's your name... That sort of thing.

There's also a 7 year old girl called Violetta, who is a bit scared of you... And finally, a 12 year old girl Krystyna, who seems quite friendly.

"Who are you?" says Syzmon. Who of course, curiously looks up at you.

"...I'm Stojan, it's nice to meet you."

"Yeah, hey, do you collect baseball cards?" says Wiece.

"...Why do you ask?"

"I don't know, you seem like you've seen some places... I erh, I only have one of those American cards, they're worth a fortune!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! One kid offered me 60 zloty for one!"

"...Nice. I erh, don't really collect much. Though I do have a penchant for cars and collecting books."

"Why do all guys like cars? No offense..." Krystyna asks you, curiously.

"...Why are you asking me all these questions anyways?"

"...Well, your Russian! We've never met one before! I heard you all drink a lot though." Syzmon says.

"Who said that?"

"The neighbors."

What we need to do is do guerrilla warfare, convince more people to come along and help with this effort. Doctors, farmers, if they hate Commies then they can come with us.

And make sure to win the hearts and minds of others by having refugees tell their stories of how the Commies made them come to us.

Also, don't show our teeth as much and put on a hat to cover our ears.

"the soviets have indeed shot themselves in the foot in one grand respect. many of their forces are conscripts, people who were pressed into the army unwillingly. that makes up the majority of their fighting force. the second largest part of the soviet war machine, are labor camps and penal battalions. all of these things are easy to exploit. by taking out the commissionars who hold the gun to the backs of the penal battalion, you free them of their duty to fight, and considering these convicts are mostly former white army and land property owning citizens, you can rest assured they harbor no good will to the Soviet Union. they are an army that stands ready, to be taken from their communist hands.

"...My what?"

He seems uncertain if this is a "sensitive" issue or not.

"...Anyways... Were you always as tall as me?"

Great. He's starting to sort of... Well, notice things about you.

"...Hey, come on. Back on topic, alright?"

"...You just seem different from the last time I saw you."

"Yeah, yeah. Hey... I was wondering, do you know anyone in the Union still?"

"A few, yes."

You grab the Thompson... That's erh...

You start to realize your beginning to go sober, judging from how your vision is becoming less impaired... Some stuff is starting to come back to you. Mostly how once you were imprisoned, the Soviets injected your neck with something.

You can't help but feel the back of it, and it's becoming even more swollen. Great.

You also remember that there's a woman in charge of the armory... The secretary or something in charge of keeping track of the armory supplies or whatever. You'd rather not trip an alarm, so maybe staying silent is the best idea...

You do poke your head slightly out via small window, to see the secretary writing some things down, and on a call. It's unlikely she'll hear you do much... So long as you don't fire anything.

Hm. You also notice a key on her desk... To what? And a keycard.

Arms it is.

You feel your muscles intensely grow, and feel quite muscular. You do notice some slightly more hairs, but you can't help but flex, showing this off a bit.

You feel incredibly strong...

Anyways, with the presentation being done... What do you do?

Thread for EDQ: >>1438800

Still going to continue on this thread too anons. Doing both at the same time tommorow.

A bit overly pleased at this, you lean back in the chair further.

"Someone get me a tailor because I AM RIPPED!"

You unleash a mighty flex, noting your greatly increased muscle size.

"...And tell me, what's up before I rip your spine out! No bullshit terms!" You say, in a bit of sudden, unexpected anger.

The presenter seems a bit intimidated.

"I erhm... I'm not sure?"

"How aren't you sure?"

"...Well... It's completely undocumented! We don't even know what it does to human subjects besides make them more aggressive and stronger."

"Why the fuck is that?"

"Well, the neural degradation..."

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

She thinks for a moment.

"Your erh... Your losing your sense of calm, essentially? Your... Flight method of fighting. You do remember the flight or fight theory in school, correct?"

"So, why am I getting bigger?"

"Well, it causes rapid cell mutation, as I stated previously..."

She keeps saying a bunch of fucking big words you don't have time to care or understand about, basically.

Actions

>...Try to calm yourself. No need to fall to anger easier then you might actually already be able to.

You feel a bit torn between yelling at her that she'll be ripped to shreds if she doesn't use smaller words, or just scare her into using smaller words.

"...So basically, I'm becoming a big, lean, mean angry machine?"

"Well, I suppose you could phrase it like that, though we have no idea what this is, it's practically never been done before..."

"...So for fuck's sake, I'm a human guinea pig."

"...Well, when you put it like that, there's less adventure behind it... Though this mutated form of mad cow's disease has yet to be really tested on anyone else..."

She seems a bit fascinated in this...

Hm.

And get your hand to make contact with her behind.

"You know, I have to admit, I rarely meet anyone who's pretty AND has brains... You should really help me out more..."

She seems a little flattered, but it's clear some people have thought this to be a bit comedically absurd, and at this point have a hard time trying to not laugh...

The scientist who's ass you've just slapped is a nice brown-haired woman, who for a Russian, is quite attractive.

"Now, what were you saying about mad cow's disease and rabies vaccine?"

She seems a bit shocked, and seems oddly slightly attracted and scared of you. And respectful.

"I-I erh, well... I was the project manager for finding the vaccination for Mad Cow's Disease, the British sabotaged our rabies vaccine and Mad Cow vaccine, and it sort of ended up affecting the genetics of humans in interesting ways, after discovering this to a few conscripts in Poland..."

Before she can say anything, you grab her, and put her over your shoulder With a bit of a slap to the rear, gently though and "accidently" stomping on the punched nerd's face. Which breaks his nose quite a bit.

You found a normal car.

Where will you drive anons?

Also busy at work, expect delay.
>>
>>1439826
Towards our exit route. Probably Germany or a Slavic nation.
>>
>>1439826
Go find our America contacts and report what we've found amd that we have seduced a scientist onto our side.

>>1439840
If you do that, you might get called back to the States. And possibly expertimented on.

So we decided against contacting the usa and doing our job. So what the hell is out goal. We're in the middle of russia and just decided to abandon our job our sole purpose as a character for being here. So now what. Look for a cure? Go insane and turn into a minatour?

You decide to ask questions to Dominika.

"So... Know where the hell they've made this rabies vaccine?"

"Well, it was made in Penza."

"...Really?"

"That's what I heard... We're not allowed to know about other projects."

"...I see, so you have no idea where it is?"

"Well... Sorry, but no... Hey erh... I was wondering something."

"What?"

"...You don't exactly seem Russian. Who are you?"

Back anons, and that's just bad.

You of course, quickly flex while driving bland give her a hard smack on the ass, a little more harder then you intended, and of course, scoot her towards you with a firm hard squeeze.

She seems a bit shocked, is plushing profusely, and clearly has never had this happen to her.

"Well... I erh... Maybe it won't be too bad. Just keep your eyes on the road, alright?"

"Yeah, yeah..."

She handles it well enough, you suppose.

"I'm just wondering something... Are you educated at all?"

"Nope!"

"...That would explain a bit. Do you have Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, by any chance? "

You seem... A bit stunned she managed to say that withot error.

What do?

>No, I don't. I think they're not needed though.

"I guess. It just really pisses me off."

"Oh... You aren't very educated are you?"

"Something wrong with that?"

"What? No, no... I erh, I just don't talk to people like you a lot. I'm a virologist
Not a lot of time out of the lab... Also studying for genetics."

"...What the fuck is a virologist?"

"We erh... We basically experiment with diseases."

"Isn't that dangerous?"

"...Only a little."

Actions

>Ignore her and just drive.
>So why are you a doctor or whatever?
>So basically a nerd, yeah I can tell.

"So, care if I ask why you're a doctor or whatever?"

"...Well, cells are interesting, you know?"

"Jail cells?"

"...No... I'm talking about the little things in your body."

"...Those?"

"...Yes? I don't want to be rude... But are Americans typically this... Smart?"

"What? Come on, of course we're smart... I just have no fucking idea what you're talking about. "

You continue to drive a bit, and notice there's a checkpoint up ahead. It seems heavily manned, and Dominika seems a bit afraid.

"I erh, I think they're already looking for you."

"...Great."

"...Why don't we turn around? I think we can go a longer way." She seems to be advising for caution...

Actions

>Drive through the checkpoint!

You manage to turn around without suspicion and try to find another way...

Anyways, choose one final upgrade for Douglass before we resume as Stojan.

>Your back. (1 point. Moderate Strength Increase.)
>Your chest.
>Your hands.
> Your eyes.
> Your head.
> Your ears.
> Your lungs.
>Your heart
>Your stomach
>Your skin
> Your legs. (1 point invested. Minor strength gain.)
> Your arms. (1 point invested. Moderate strength increase.)
> Your feet.
>>

>Your skin
>>
>>1441342
Your heart
>>
>>1441367
Too early.
>>
>>1441373
How so?
>>
>>1441342
Chest
>>
>>1441377
We needed both chest and back upgraded on Stojan twice for his heart to be upgraded once without being crushed in his chest. And that's not even taking into account how we had to upgrade the rest of his body to provide somewhere for the excess blood to flow.
>>
>>1441342
>Your chest.
>>
Your chest shivers a bit, and you feel an intense amount of pain while driving...You even hit your head on the roof of the car, hurting your head a bit, and after forcing yourself to pull over, you feel even more aggressive, and masuline...

And your shirt sort of... Explodes off you.

Just a little.

You notice that you have an awful amount of body hair, but when you feel your chest you are extremely muscular, to the point of having a eight-pack and you feel extremely strong... You've also now hit 8'4' in height, and have a problem fitting into cars...

You feel quite aggressive...

Anyways, before we leave Douglass... How do you want the relationship with Dominika to go?

Choices

>Remain professional.
>...Try to befriend her?
>...Look into maybe getting into a slightly romantic thing.
>...She's a keeper. Look into a romantic relationship with her.

They've begun to look into a somewhat romantic thing.

Meanwhile, what has Stojan upgraded in?

>Your back. (2 point invested. Slight strength bonus.) (Light Injury.)
>Your chest. (2 Point invested. You have minor resistance to cold.)
>Your hands.
> Your eyes. (1 point invested. Better vision day and night)
> Your head. (1 point invested. Better smelling and sharp teeth.)
> Your ears. (1 point. Better hearing.)
> Your lungs. (1 point invested!)
>Your heart (1 point invested.)
>Your stomach (1 point invested. Can eat more raw food.)
>Your skin (1 point invested in! Tougher resistance!)
> Your legs. ( 1 Pointed invested in, faster and can jump higher.)
> Your arms. (2 points invested! Moderate strength.)
> Your feet.
>>
>>1441521
> Your feet.
>>
>>1441521
> Your feet.
>>
Stojan's feet have become hairy, and a bit oddly shaped. He's better at climbing and jumping now, and gets a bonus to stealth.

Anyways...

Stojan's been a bit busy, and has earned up to 50 Reichmarks.

He's also now a registered member of the Nazi Party, and allowed to attend their meetings.

Now, what do anons want to do?

>Train the guerilla fighters!
>Change what your sleeping agents are doing.
>...Look into visting Big Ivan again? Maybe he has some information for you?
>Get German support.
>Continue to recruit guerillas
