That's my suggestion, combine the damaged and disabled ships (as many as we can get away with) into the station and see if we can't link/salvage as much of the human technology as possible. See if we can't use their simplistic but powerful sensory systems to take stock of where exactly we are in the universe.

Once we know where we are, we can try to find somewhere else to go for more food and more hosts.

I thoroughly agree with this, given the specification by Anon that we very carefully glide the other ships into place. Additionally, it's always wise to dispatch a few lifepods full of eggs, just in case. We cannot afford to risk the hive entirely being eradicated if we get glassed or suchlike. Its not likely, but it always pays to be careful before you need to be.

Your Xenomorphs pull themselves from the walls where they had nearly been embedded in from the collision with The Weathers. The entire ship had jolted, flinging crewmembers, shuttles, equipment and cargo around like toys. The groans and cries of the dozens of wounded echo out as klaxons blare

The Atmosphere is already growing quite thin in some areas of the ship, the bulkheads refusing to close correctly due to the warping of the ships superstructure from the impact.

Scurrying through the vents towards the rear of the ship your drones link their minds with those of the builders back on Echo Station. They'll need some tech support on this one.

The engine bay of the Taurus is a cluttered ruin now that the interior was thoroughly dislodged by a extremely jarring impact. Several technicians lay at the base of the far wall, blood smears and trails showing where they had impacted at speeds humans simply weren't made to handle.

Your drones and warriors carefully split open the terminals controlling the engines, tinkering and testing with telepathic advice from the builders. The engines sputter in several different directions at varying strengths. The squeal of tortured metal echoes as the Weathers is dragged along for the ride as they finally get the hang of driving a multi-thousand ton spaceship with only the most rudimentary understanding of direction.

The maneuvering thrusters fire in long bursts, spinning both ships along to bring them closer and closer to main deck on Echo Station. The speed builds, juddering as the surviving crew of the Weathers attempt to tear their way free as they grow ever closer to their final destination.

Your drones retreat from the stations, cocooning themselves into the walls nervously as the impact grows inevitable.

With a world rending crash the pair of Conjoined Frigates smash into the side of Echo station, burying themselves up to midship in the armored hull. Your hive had retreated into the depths on the other side of the station but still they squeal in shock as they are thrown to and fro, injuring several drones and shaking eggs from the floor. Dutch and Newt sniff the air excitedly, their world just got a lot more interesting.

Your Builders spring to the task at hand as the Hive nodes scattered throughout the Station report loss of atmosphere as the living resin attempts to seal the gaps around the ships. Inky black fluid flows with a mind of its own, bubbling as it hardens in the rushing air.

Your Builders recruit the drones as they make their way across the Station. There will be armed humans within the hive proper within minutes and they will need a proper welcome

In the shattered and warped hallways near the bent and twisted frames of the ships noses the Builders get to work, vomiting out hive nodes and shaping the globs of tissue and nutrient rich jelly spreading across the walls and ceiling. They shape the masses into waiting mines of razor sharp chitin and bulbs of acidic jelly that will trigger at any non-hivemates proximity.

By the time they finish the area around the ships is a minefield of epic proportions, a deathtrap for any that are not a member of the hive.

While they toil your Boarding squad onboard the Taurus crawl into the chaos aboard the Weathers. They crawl over battered and broken humans, some twitching fitfully and a great many laying still. Some humans may have survived the impact but they will be few and far between. Following the basic outline of the Frigate from their adventures aboard the Taurus they make their way to the Life support chamber. They chatter in delight as they find the machine ripped from its mooring, a pair of flattened technicians beneath it on the opposite side of the room.

The humans will be forced to leave the Weathers eventually or smother there.

Guys, if we sneak all these facehuggers onto the Weathers we have a flanking force breeding even while they're being forced out to meet us.

Hammer and anvil. Pincer attack and reinforcements? Sounds ideal.

Maybe a carrier or two and a warrior to make sure the facehuggers avoid crowds.

But really stealthfully. Focus on the use of prominent terror tactics to frighten the crew into bailing on the ship and escaping onto echo station.

Actually I read on a wiki somewhere that predaliens were capable of implanting hosts directly with their secondary mouths, could we possibly get dutch or newt to sneak aboard the Weathers with a couple of carriers and start implanting hosts, but leaving them free to tell the others what happened to them? If you want to really dial up the horror we could have them massacre everyone in a given room, but leave one person alive and implanted to further spread terror and fear amongst the other survivors. If we get lucky the chest popper will be able to emerge just as they're escaping to echo station.

The Weary, injured survivors of the Weathers and Taurus collision with Echo station are stumbling through the halls, blood dripping along the corridors as they make their way through, technicians cutting away the hull in places and attempting to venture out into Echo station in search of help.

They never find it.

A tide of bony white legs, whipping tails and furious DESIRE overwhelms them. Facehuggers actually fight over the hosts, squabbling and pushing before the victor latches on. The tide of desperate facehuggers sweeps on, driving the terrified survivors before them. The humans attempt to seal half functional bulkheads behind them but are dragged down by the horde.

The survivors of the assault flee into Echo Station, driven from the ship directly into your waiting minefield. Men and women are shredded by exploding Flechette Nodes, rendered into dripping chunks. They dive into the guts of the weapons, inspecting and dismantling every possible aspect, creeping along the barrels, crawling into the actions and loading chambers of the massive weapons.

After several hours your builders emerge from dismantled weapons placements, chattering in excitement at their new discoveries.

The last few sections of Alpha deck have been turned into a fortress by the remnants of the security forces and android Guards. At every corridor multiple layers of barricades and firing lines are watched vigilantly, floodlights behind the defended lighting up the hallways and corridors ahead of their position.

In isolated rooms and locked bathrooms bodies sit or sway from the ceiling. Pools of blood leak from under doors as those who have lost hope of escape or rescue take their own lives.

In the dark and damp of the Hives territory, a swarm approaches, a tide of teeth and claws seeking only to rip flesh and consume all that opposes them.

A pounding rumble approaches, easily felt through the deckplates. The vibration grows in intensity quickly, rattling the barricades and the teeth of the defenders.

The approach of dozens of chitinous feet at a fast rate of speed.

At the head of the charge is the Goliath, armored head and shoulders braced against the oncoming storm of lead. Its broad back scrapes the ceiling at times, raining sparks and flakes of metal as the spines tear shallow grooves in the metal. The Guardians and Heavy Warriors charge behind, Dutch leading them with a roar of fury.

The defenders open fire as soon as they sight their foe. Bullets fly like horizontal rain, sparking flakes of chitin from armor and shields as your horde returns fire. Men and machine alike are shredded by shards of Chitin, impaled by spikes the size of daggers and collapsing with their faces and chests melting from acidic globs.

With a bone-pulping crash the Guardian smashes into the barricade, throwing men and machine alike aside like feathers. Twisted metal clatters to the ground as men scream in agony and androids fire until their weapons run dry.

Behind the vanguard come the swarm, a mass of claws and hate that falls upon those still standing, shredding them limb from limb in explosions of blood and viscera. Men turn and run but are borne to the ground and shredded, bone cracking and flesh ripping under claws.

The Defenders may as well be sheep before an onrushing army of wolves. They fall to a man, those that survive long enough to hide again turn their weapons upon themselves, spattering brains upon the ceiling.

As your Heavy warriors smash at the concealed door to a safe room that they sense movement behind, a single gunshot rings out. Your warriors lose interest and begin searching for any survivors, ripping into the flesh of the wounded.
