Three years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza's armies. Since that day, the Saiyans have acted as the emperor's loyal servents, sent first onto dozens of worlds, exterminating all who oppose Lord Freeza's rule. As mighty conquerors, destroying all who have stood against them, the Saiyans quickly made a name for themselves as some of Freeza's most powerful and loyal subjects.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 734 of the "main" timeline. You the players will be able to influence events throughout the Dragonball/Z timeline and possibly change the course of history, depending on your choices and the will of the dice.

You are Karn, a Saiyan Brawler with a powerlevel of 6195, and leader of your own attack squadron. Your team is made of yourself and:
Leyas, Brawler, 5012
Meloka, Blaster, 4738
Tatsu, Warrior, 5882

Character Sheet: https://pastebin.com/iPAJeGJn

Quest rules:
>10 minute vote times or first vote to 3 wins, any ties decided by my roll
>first 3 rolls, best of the 3
>I hold final say on any decisions; write-ins are allowed if not too meta or game-breaking.

Previously, on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
Karn, Leyas, Meloka, and Tatsu were sent to Krunn to investigate an abandoned Grey facility and kill everything that moves. On the way there you find out more of Meloka's past and motivations. Early in the battle for Krunn, Tatsu is severely injured and Karn sends him into orbit to recover. At the end of the facility they encounter the original beast, matriarch of the creatures. With Tatsu returning to provide a Power Ball, the other three Saiyans defeat the beast and the battle is won. But upon leaving the world you recieve a distress call from Nappa and have changed course to aid your childhood friend.

"So you're telling me Nappa couldn't handle this assignment." Commander Cui's voice asks you through your pod's comms.
"All I know is his squad is down and he asked for backup, so we're en route." you tell your commander. "Can you give us the information on the world he's on?"
"Yeah yeah hold on. Ah, there we go. You're headed to planet Kvir. Well, more accurately to its' moon. Kvir itself is just a gas giant. But the fortification on Kvir's moon is one of the Grey's forward military outposts, and a hard target. They've prepared the world for an assault from our forces, and have been building and stockpiling disposable soldiers for years now. When you land, be ready for a fight."
"Thank you Commander." you reply. "I'll find Nappa and destroy this outpost. Karn out."
Checking your pod's display, you see that you still have a little more than two weeks before you touch down on Kvir's moon. What will you do?

With time to kill until you arrive on Kvir's moon, you decide to talk with Meloka. Opening a comm line to her pod, you ask, "Hey Meloka you up?"
"Yeah I'm up, what do you need Karn?" Meloka replies.
"What do you think we're gonna be up against when we get there?" you ask her.
"Whatever it is, it was enough to beat Nappa." is her reply. "So they've probably made some new weapon or something. The Greys aren't strong enough on their own to hurt me, much less Nappa."
"Yeah that's what I was thinking as well." you tell her.
"Is that all you wanted, or is there something else you wanted to talk about?" Meloka asks you.

"No I wanted to ask you something else." you tell her. "How are you so great?"
"W-what?" she asks, startled. "What do you mean?"
"I've always had to struggle to even fire off a blast, yet you make even creating a sword from your energy look so effortless. How do you do it?"
"Oh that. Well, uhhh." she says, not sure how to reply. "I, well, umm. I-I'm not sure how best to explain it. You just feel your energy coursing all through and over your body, and then shape it into a blade as it leaves your hand."
"So if I come over there and feel your energy all over your body, I'll be able to do it too?"
"No!" she blurts out. "Umm, I mean..." she says, unsure of what to say.

"Can you try and teach me how to make your Energy Sword?" you ask her.
"Yeah of course!" Meloka replies. "I can finally teach you something! Alright let's get started then. First you focus your energy into your hand, like for your Energy Punch."
Doing as she says, you charge up your Energy Punch, hand buzzing with the stored power.
"Got it." you tell her. "Now what?"
"Okay now here's where it gets tricky." she tells you. "Take that energy and push it out from your hand like a blast, but don't let go of it. If you lose it your pod will be toast."
"Well if I do I'll just come share your pod." you tell her. "We've still two weeks of travel left."
"Umm, well, I mean," she stammers out.
"I'm kidding, Meloka." you tell her. "I'll get this right."
"Oh okay." Meloka says, sounding half relieved half disappointed. "Yeah I'm sure you'll do it right! Now focus on your energy in your hand. As you open your fist into a knife hand, extend the energy out as you uncurl your fingers."
"Ok I'm going to try." you tell her. Focusing on your gathered energy, you slowly unclench your fist, feeling your energy flow out from your hand. With a whoop the blade comes to life in your hand, audibly humming.
"Ha I did it!" you shout excitedly. "Sorry Meloka, but we'll have to share a pod another time." you tease her.
"I knew you could do it!" she shouts back as excited as you are.

You thank Meloka for her help and tell her you'll help her train after you all finish your mission with Nappa, to which she thanks you. After that, you check in with your other teammates. Tatsu said he's mosty recovered and will be ready to fight when you land. Leyas was asleep when you checked on him, snoring quite audibly. After you're done checking on your team, you decide to work on your own techniques again. Retreating within yourself, you focus on your energy and how it moves throughout your body. You decide to make a true finishing move. With Nappa in trouble, you need to be able to handle whatever comes at you. You decide to improve the Piercing Fist. With what you learned from Meloka's Energy Blade, you are able to manipulate the energy into a much finer point, a solid cone of energy extending a few inches in front of your fist. With this, the trailing energy surrounding you will form a much stronger barrier, protecting you from attacks from the side when you charge. Working on this took the entirety of the two weeks of the trip, and as you leave your meditations you hear Leyas' voice over comms.

"Hey Karn you up?"
"Yeah I'm here." you reply. "What's up?"
"Kvir's moon should be in sight," Tatsu says.
"Hey guys check your scouters." Meloka says. "We made it in time. Nappa's power level is still there."
"That's a relief." Leyas replies.
"Ok so there's what appears to be some sort of fortress on the moon's pole, and Nappa's powerlevel is coming from the ruins of a city on the opposite pole." Tatsu tells you all.
"Where should we land?" Meloka asks you.

"We're touching down between Nappa and the Fortress." you tell your team. "Don't want to draw attention to his location, but we need to be close. Everyone follow me in."
"Right behind you." Meloka replies.
"Let's get down there! I'm ready to kill something!" Leyas says, cracking his knuckles in the comm.
As your pods break the atmosphere, a swarm of missiles fire up from the fortress, and you know right where they're headed. Your pods fly groundward, missiles in hot pursuit. Realizing that you won't have time, you open your comm, "Everyone bail out of your pods now, those missiles are coming in too fast!" With that, you pull the emergency release on your pod's door, breaking the seal and you fly out. Turning back after getting some distance, you see that everyone is with you except Meloka. Looking back, you see the missile swarm finally catch the pods as they hit the ground, a massive explosion rocking the area. Dashing towards the crater, you see Meloka standing in the middle dusting herself off.
"Damn anti-air missiles!" she shouts out, more pissed off than hurt. "Those fuckers sting!"
"Good, you're okay." you sigh out, relieved.
"Well of course I am." she retorts indignantly. "Few scrapes here and there, but they're gonna need a bigger gun than that!"

"Ok so flying isn't a good idea right now." you tell your team.
"Really? Are you sure?" Meloka asks teasingly.
"Yes. I am. So we're running from here over towards Nappa's location. Unless anyone has a better idea?"
Nobody does, so you all take off at a sprint, scouters locked on Nappa's signature. After several minutes of running through the blasted cityscape, you see something that makes you all stop short. A giant bipedal machine blasting a large wave right towards Nappa's signature. With a massive detonation the blast explodes, Nappa flying up just over the blast.
"Nappa! We made it!" Leyas shouts out, relief obvious in his voice.
"Leyas, Tatsu, you made it! About time, too. Did you take the scenic route?" the large man asks, flying down towards your group.

"Let's scrap this thing!" you yell out to your team plus Nappa, dashing full speed at the machine.
"Wait Karn!" Nappa tries to yell at you, but is drown out by your team's shouts as they follow you towards the colossal robot. Shaking his head, he dashes after you all. With a shout, you drive your fist at the machine's head, only for your punch to hit it harmlessly. Tatsu's kick to the side of its' head is equally ineffective, as are everyone else's attempts.
Hostiles within proximity, defensive measures activated.
With that, the machine grabs something from its' back, raises it to its arm's full extension, and throws it towards the ground.
"Get clear!" Nappa shouts, flying from the machine as fast as he can.

Recognizing the threat, you dash back away as fast as you can. Tatsu sees what is about to happen, but instead of running prepares to block. Meloka and Leyas spend a confused moment looking around, and are caught in the blast along with a tired Nappa. With an earsplitting boom the object detonates, washing the area for miles in fire and death and knocking you from the air. Sitting up off the ground, you take off back into the air, scouter scanning for your friends. Thankfully they're all alive, but as the smoke clears you can see Nappa's in bad shape. The blast destroyed his armor and badly burnt most of his body. Meloka and Leyas aren't in much better shape, bodies torched and armor cracked. Tatsu is still in the air, but also scorched and panting heavily. Whatever that was, it was a powerful weapon and almost killed all of you. This thing almost killed all of you.

"You...You bastard!" you shout, fists clenched. "I'm gonna tear you apart!"
Witb your aura visibly flaring around you, you dash straight at the machine, yelling out your rage. With all of your might, you punch the machine in the center of its' chest, the force of the blow knocking the machine off balance and sending it backpedaling to regain its' footing. Tatsu simply watches on, stunned at the display. You rush the now off-balance machine, and strike it again; this time sending your full power into the robot's head and sending it toppling over backwards.
Primary offensive weapon charged. Firing in 5, 4, 3,...

You quickly charge your Piercing Fist, then push it to your newly-developed Mk II, the cone of energy radiating pure power out from your fist.
2, 1, Firing
And with that the machine's explosive beam fires out from its' eyeslot straight towards you. But you are ready. With a "HAAAAAA!!" your ultimate attack is unleashed for the first time; deflecting the robot's beams, and then piercing straight through its' metal dome and into the ground. Turning back up, you see straight through the machine's head to the sky.
Error! Error! Cranial damage detected. Optical sensors offline. Primary offensive weapon offline. Motor controlls offline. Self-destruct sequence initiated. 30, 29, 28, 27,....

"Tatsu, you carry Nappa." you tell the older Saiyan. "I'll take Leyas and Meloka."
23, 22, 21,...
"Alright sure." he replies, hoisting the larger Saiyan on his shoulders and taking off.
15, 14, 13, 12,...
You put Leyas over your shoulders, then pick up and carry Meloka in your arms and fly off after Tatsu and Nappa.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, detonate
With a massive explosion, the giant robot is engulfed in a fireball. The shockwave hits the five of you midair, but doesn't unsettle your flight for more than a few seconds. Landing clear of the area next to Tatsu, you lay your injured teammates upon the ground. Staring down at your injured friends, you wish your pods and their medical supplies hadn't been destroyed.
"Karn." Tatsu says, breaking you out of your thoughts. "What was that back there?"

Bardock seemed to be one of the few Saiyans that ever got sentimental actually.
Went out trying to avenge the death of a few specific comrades and even had a lifemate.
Dude was cool, but certainly a little out of place for a Saiyan.

"Well you certainly got it." he tells you. "But one question remains, what will we do now? Neither of us can assault the fortress by ourselves, and leaving these three here is a death sentence."

"Tatsu, watch our friends. I'm going to look for a more secure place to hide out while they recover."
"Of course." is the veteran's response. "If you find nowhere good enough within ten minutes, come back. I have a feeling we're being watched."
"I do too, we need to get somewhere safe." you reply, setting a timer on your scouter and taking to the air.
Spending several minutes searching the blasted landscape, you look for anything still standing that could offer your team protection from prying eyes. But you see nothing. Every building is blasted, every shelter ruined, every possible hiding space leveled. With only two minutes to spare, you start heading back towards Tatsu when you hear,
Hostile spotted.
Turning you see a mechanical man, pointing some kind of rifle at you.

Before the machine can react further, you dash toward it and kick the robot's head clean off its' shoulders. Without a head, the body simply falls over lifeless. Turning the timer off on your scouter, you dash quickly along the ruined streets back to where you left Tatsu and the others.
Arriving back where you left them, the sight you're greeted with is cause for alarm. A swarm of the machines are attacking. Tatsu, and surprisingly Leyas, are fighting off the machines, keeping their attention off those still unable to fight. Nobody/nothing has noticed your arrival yet, what will you do?

First things first; get your teammates out. Dashing down, you pick up Meloka's tiny frame in your arms and carry her to a nearby rooftop. Setting her down away from the fighting, you dash back down and grab Nappa, hoisting the large man onto your back and carry him to the roof as well.
With both of them still out of the fight, you turn your attention back to Leyas and Tatsu. The pair seem to be holding their own, but Leyas is looking rough. He's barely standing, but still holding the machines off. Several have noticed you, and started firing at you. You deflect the attacks easily, taking off away from the roof to draw their fire.

Gathering your energy, you blitz down toward the attacking machines. Hitting the ground with enough force to leave a crater and crush several of the robots, you begin tearing into them with a vengeance. Leyas takes a blast to the chest and sinks to the ground, Tatsu standing over your fallen friend and fending off their weaker blasts. You attack the swarm of the machines, parts flying. Between the two of you, you make quick work of the attackers, destroying them to a unit. After a quick scan of the area for additional threats, you both grab an armover your shoulders and carry Leyas up to the roof you'd carried Meloka and Nappa to. Upon landing, you both put Leyas down next to the other two, and sit down to catch your breath.
"Did you find a good spot?" Tatsu asks you.
"No, nothing." You reply. "Everything around is blasted out."
"What should we do now?" he asks you. They've effectively flushed us out, and will certainly be sending stronger opponents to take us out."

"What are you thinking Karn?" he asks you.
"We go back to that colossal machine, and hide out inside it. They won't think to look where we already left right?"
"Well it's probably our best bet, let's go." he says, lifting Nappa's giant form onto his shoulders. You hoist Leyas onto yours, then pick up Meloka's tiny frame and carry her in your arms as you both lift off and travel towards the sight of your first battle here on Kvir's moon.
After several minutes of flight, Meloka stirs in your arms and then wakes up.

You said anything about being locked into a relationship? We're saiyans, relationships aren't even a real thing for us except for the royalty and weirdos like Bardock. And the king only really cares about his heir, not his baby momma. With Bardock, most people are pretty sure He just sweet talks Gine to get extra food. Sex with no strings attached are pretty much the norm for the Saiyans, and most of the time it's just for the sake of making babies.

Her face going red, Meloka looks away embarassed for a few seconds. When she looks back at you, she has a little smirk on her face and a glimmer in her eyes. Without another word, she tightens her arms around you, pulling her head up onto your shoulder then swings her legs up and wraps them around your middle as well.

"Its about time." you whisper back in her ear, wrapping one of your arms around her middle and pulling her closer to you. Before you can say more, the ruined colossus comes into sight. Flying down, Tatsu lays Nappa down and you set Leyas down as Meloka hops off of you. Getting to work, the three of you blast out area into the interior, making seperate rooms for everyone. With the work done, you and Tatsu carry Nappa and Leyas into the rooms you'd all carved out for them. With that done, you all seal up the entrance you'd made into your makeshift shelter. Tatsu then tells the two of you that he's going to sleep, and, after giving you both a look, tells you to keep it down and not wake Nappa or Leyas. With that, he closes his room behind himself.
You look to Meloka, who's blushing at Tatsu's closed door. She then notices you looking at her, and gives you a small smile. Floating up, she sits in your lap and wraps her arms around your neck, gazing into your eyes. Wrapping your arms around her, you lift her and carry your Meloka towards your makeshift room. You don't know what troubles tomorrow will bring, but for tonight you and Meloka enjoy each others plesant company.

End updates for tonight.

What do you guys think so far? Enjoying the thread?

Would a higher power level help with fucking better? Sorry to sidetrack, but it's a serious question. Higher powerlevel generally means faster/stronger, and we're already built for CC..

Perhaps, if the power levels are comparable. But the stamina training you did would certainly help.
>>
>>1586345
Let's be honest, we gotta be past 10,000 after the robot and our rage boost, as soon as we get back and heal anyway. Zenkais are weird as fuck and really only exist for plot convenience, which is why we got points like gohan going from 1,000 to maybe 2 or 3,000, vegeta going up from 18,000 to simply 21 to 23,000 and then there's goku going from 80 or 90,000 to at least 3 million after a single zenkai, and vegeta going from less than 40,000 to 500,000 in one swoop plus going from there to nearly 2 million after a single zenkai. Pretty much up to QM how strong we get after this. Also yes, my little lecture you didn't ask for aside, power level if how strong you are as an individual and for the sake of the quest it's a legitimate way of showing how strong we are. That includes all aspects of strength, that means increased stamina and muscle endurance, plus stronger will and mental discipline, all of which would make us a better lover in bed. So yeah, higher pl would probably mean better sex.
>>
>>1586327
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed.
>>
>>1586384
The Zenkai boost thing.. Isn't it just based around HOW close to death you were? Because Goku after Ginyu was literally at death's door, so he got a huge boost. Plus, the Vegeta thing from 40K to 500K, that was the incident with the Ginyus as well, wasn't it? He got the shit kicked out of him. Also, Vegeta on Earth was more like 13K, not 18K, correct?
>>
>>1586396
On earth he was 18k. Goku was 8k in base, at Kaio-ken was 16k, and at Kaio-ken x3 was 24k.
>>
>>1586397
Ah, okay. Never analyzed DBZ too closely, so I figured I'd ask and make sure, because it could've just been me being wrong.
>>
>>1586400
All good. Also, as far as Zenkai, it is indeed scaled somehow proportional to how close to death you get and recover from. Nappa will be up to his canon 7k when he recovers from this near-death beating.
>>
So how long is Meloka gonna be out of commission after we get back to Planet Vegeta?

Not long. For Saiyan warriors currently, an unborn child will be cut out of the mother after a month or two and placed in a pic related pod until about 3, while the mother goes into a healing pod for a few hours to heal the cut then ready to go back into action.
>>
>>1586426
Oh. So it's a system that bypasses all the bullshit about humanoid mammal child birth.
Neat.
>>
>>1586396
>>1586400
>>1586416
>>1586397
Yes, it is somewhat proportional to how close to death you are, In fact you actually get a massive zenkai boost from being resurrected. Even with that in mind though, zenkai also is mostly plot based. Think of how vegeta was beaten and exhausted to the point of only being able to crawl with one mostly broken arm, going from 18,000 to around 23,000. Now compare that to goku who is beaten to a similar point, only having enough strength with one arm and only to toss a frog. yet he goes from around 80,000 base to over 3 million after healing. Zenkais are more or less plot based and can go from minor gains to insane amounts.
>>
>>1586430
Just to give you more perspective, 3 million divided by 80,000 is 37.5, meaning goku from one zenkai, at a similar level of damage to vegeta back on earth, grew nearly 38 times stronger than what he was initially, compare that to vegeta only get roughly a third stronger than his initial power level.

They're space mercenary spartans with the PTO behind them. Efficiency is key, and having many fighters sidelined for months at a time to birth a child is very inefficient when alternatives exist.
>>1586430
>>1586437
Yes they did become insane, and were simply a plot device. But for this I'm keeping them (relatively) stable. No insane Zenkai buffs. Speaking of buffs, Karn broke through the first rage barrier. He has the seed of true rage burning now, and will be able to attempt the next level with proper motivation and a high enough power level.
>>
>>1586448
Since we're not in the middle of plot, I'm gonna ask. What is a rage barrier? Never heard it really called that before. Is this charting a course towards False SSJ?

Ok so psa for the quest, for those interested in the possibility of Super Saiyan

True rage is when the character first goes apeshit over what happened to someone else. Like Goku when Krillin died to Tambourine. That rage was the first step to becoming the Super Saiyan. False Super Saiyan is if the Saiyan isn't strong enough for the full version, or if their rage is incomplete. The way I'll be running it is there's a mental block in place preventing every Saiyan from accessing that power as it would kill them as a weakling. Only through becoming truly angry can that mental block be taken down and a Super Saiyan be born. Except Broly, who was born without that mental block because kid was a potato.
>>
>>1586468
So in other words.. You're saying Karn is already at the first level out of 3 or 4 before he can start unlocking Super Saiyan.. Christ, quick progression. I just hope we don't get False Super Saiyan too quick, though that might happen seeing as how a comrade can die at any time and like Bardock, we seem to care about our friendos.
>>
>>1586454
I would assume so, I think the point of them is for GD to indicate that we're making progress on ascending to the super Saiyan state, instead of just giving it us or having it come out of nowhere.
>>
>>1586470
>>1586471
I won't say on how much further you have to go to become the legend, but with step one complete you won't full rage tardbeast if you transform and murder your friends.
>>
>>1586482
I'm guessing the minimum power to transform is somewhere in the low millions, right?
>>
>>1586482
Well, Goku needed about 3 Million, and Vegeta, Gohan, and the others likely needed more. But depending on what Bardock had, and if QM considers Bardock's movies canon, we may be able to skate by with as low as 1.5 or 2 Million. Either way, we'd have to be strong enough Frieza would be trying to kill us.
>>
>>1586493
>>1586490
I won't say on required powerlevel to transform. I WILL say that the greater the rage the lower the powerlevel requirement. Which is why Gohan/Vegeta took for fucking ever to do it.
>>
>>1586482
Wait I'm not sure I understand, are you saying we have better ozaru control now?

To be fair, that's played-up quite a bit among fans. Even Goku, the borderline-retarded fight junkie who literally thought "marriage" was a thing you ate until he was well into his teens, is fond of his family: the story just rarely shows it because it's a shonen fightan series, and he spends most of his time dealing with plot or being dead. Vegeta, a man somehow MORE obsessed with FIGHTAN than Goku and who pretty much killed entire planets for amusement, settled down eventually.
>>
>>1586639
Yes, but you have to remember that neither of them were constantly on assignment, like their forefathers. The whole point of not having a family was because any of them, male or female, could die at any point. With Vegeta and Goku, that was mostly eliminated.. Despite Goku still dying a lot.
>>
>>1586639
Actually toriyama has stated that goku views chichi as a close friend that lives in his house. I'm paraphrasing obviously, but the point I'm trying to make is that goku is confirmed to not feel nor has ever felt romantic feelings in any way, not because he doesn't care about chichi, but because the emotion itself is completely alien to him. Same with his kids, he views them both in as sense more like really close friends rather than in a traditional father son view. You can even argue, and quite justifiably too, that he's fond of all the people around him, it could even be prudent to say that most of his old friends and family are considered his very close friends and he cares about all of them, just in his own way. Plus didn't we just talk about how Vegeta, as a member of the royal family, would actually care about family?
>>
>>1586639
>>1586643
This too is also something you have to consider, saiyans are a warrior race, they live on the high of battle, fuck they destroyed their whole planet from in fighting and moved to a new planet, only to decimate the native race there and take the planet for themselves. With this militaristic society in mind, it would make sense for families to not be the social norm. everyone is a soldier from birth, why choose to make a family and develop strong feelings for a person if they could die at any point on a backwater planet anyway? I'm not saying Karn couldn't develop much stronger feelings for melokia or another female saiyan, but why would he? You have to remember that Karn was born in a society with vastly different social norms from our own, he just straight up thinks differently from you and me. Could he develop feelings, probably with how I know the anons are going to be, but it is a mostly rare concept, even alien to a good portion of saiyans.

With the dawn, you wake up and stretch, getting out of your shared makeshift bed. Leaving Meloka there sleeping, you make your way as quietly as possible out of your makeshift room. Upon walking out, a welcome sight greets you: Nappa is finally back up and moving.
"Well well, look who's finally up." Nappa greets you, you both clasping arms. "How long was I out?"
"You were down all of yesterday from that blast." you tell the large man as you both make your way out into the morning sunlight. "I wasn't sure you'd start moving again without a healing pod."
"Oh come on Karn, you know me better than that." Nappa replies. "You know a few little burns aren't enough to keep me away from a fight!"
"Nappa, good to see you moving." Tatsu calls down, having been sitting on top of your shelter. "Are you ready to assault the fortress?"
"Heh, you bet. I'm ready to dish out some payback to those little freaks!" Nappa replies.
"You're gonna get your chance." you tell Nappa. "But first, we need a plan. Did you and your team recon the fortress?"
"Yeah but our information is real limited. The Greys, at least when we checked, number only around two to three hundred total. The fortress is a high-walled ring around the moon's pole, and I'm sure you noticed already, absolutely loaded down with anti-air missiles.
"Seems like fun." Leyas says from behind you all, walking up looking ready for a fight.
"Hey buddy, how're ya doing?" Nappa asks him, the two men clasping arms.
"Feeling much better now, I'm ready to kill these fuckers."
"Hell yeah let's do it!" Meloka says, walking out of the shelter as well. "What's the plan?"

"It's too risky." you tell Nappa. "Using that as soon as we land paints giant targets on ourselves, and the ball only lasts for 90 minutes. After it runs out we change back, leaving us unconcious and vulnerable. Plus the ball itself can be destroyed, which would change us back as well. We have to know what we're up against before we break out this technique. But with how much damage these new Grey weapons can dish out, it is our best option for taking this base down."
"Hmm, makes sense I suppose." the general replies. "So how will we take care of the anti-air so the Power Ball technique is safe?"
"I think I have a plan." Meloka says, drawing everyone's eyes. "Karn and me can cut our way through the walls then take out those guns. All we need is you three to attack from the other side to cause a distraction."
"Or," Tatsu starts. "We could save the technique for when we need it, sneak up on the walls from every side, then all rush overtop and surprise them."
"Fuck that, all of us should stick together, and rush the base from the same side."

With everyone in position, you all spring up from your waiting places and rush over the walls. Once over the walls, you take a second to observe the layout.
In the center of the base is a tower, probably where the command is. To your immediate left and right, just over the wall are the missile silos. between the silo and tower are two buildings, both unmarked. Deciding on the right silo first, you quickly rush to the armored building. Using your Piercing Fist, you smash through the side of the building, right into what appears to be a control room. Several seated Greys react with panic, reaching for their sidearms. They never reach them. Deciding to test out your Energy Sword, you create the blade and quickly carve a path through the Greys and their terminals, warning lights flashing. Splashing blood upon the walls and viscera and limbs upon the floor, you leave a bloody mess in the control room as you cut down the last of the Greys. Dashing down through the halls, you soon find the missile stockpile. Using your Energy Wave, you blast a hole straight up from that room through every floor until you see sunlight. Dashing up through the new sunroof, you charge a Full Power Energy Wave, and fire it back down into the missile storage, detonating the supply and destroying the entire structure. Looking around, you see that your team has destroyed or disabled each of the other silos. With those disabled, you check the buildings in the courtyard again. It seems the two unmarked buildings were barracks for the metal men, them pouring out of the sides and blasting through the roofs by the hundreds.

"Everyone to me!" you shout out, blasting your Energy Wave into the approaching swarm and taking several dozen machines out.
"Karn!" Meloka shouts out to you, drawing her Energy Blade and carving a path to you. Leyas takes a more direct approach, dashing straight through the swarm to you. Tatsu and Nappa simply dash towards you, the silos they destroyed besides you. The five of you rally together inthe air and face off against the swarm of machines. Five against thousands, hardly seems fair for them.

With your team and Nappa with you, you are ready to face down the machine men horde. With a shout you lead the charge into the mass of metal, Meloka by your right and Nappa by your left. Fighting in sync, your and Meloka's Energy Swords carve a swathe through the machines. Leyas' and Nappa's brutal strikes smashing through the robots as if they were paper. Tatsu hangs back, firing blast after blast into the horde, destroying dozens at a time.
After several minutes of carnage, the horde lies still, broken and defeated. Everyone lands on top of the left building to recover. As everyone catches their breath, you examine the layout of the fortress more closely.
There are the two now presumably empty buildings the horde came from, you all on the roof of the left one. Further in is the tower, standing tall with lights still on inside. Behind it is a large building, several Grey saucers taking flight and preparing to either attack your group or flee.
"This could be a problem." Tatsu tells you. "We need to take down those already in the air, and kill those inside the hanger still preparing."
"Like hell you're getting away!" Nappa shouts, taking to the air towards the fleeing ships.
"So who's going where?" Meloka asks you.

"Tatsu, you're with me, we're taking those in the hanger apart. Leyas, Meloka, go support Nappa. We can't let these things escape. Now move!" you tell your team, dashing down towards the hanger, Tatsu in close pursuit. Flying down, several of the Greys' saucers fly up from the hangar to meet your charge. As you fly closer and closer towards the saucers, you begin charging a Dual Energy Wave to fire on the leading craft. With a shout you fire your attack, only for the saucers to dodge your blasts and return with their own lasers. The blasts hit you and explode, knocking you and Tatsu from the air. With a crash you both impact the ground hard, causing a small crater. Dazed, you look up and observe the others' battle. Leyas is dominating the fight, using short bursts to dash from ship to ship and dodge their blasts. As you watch you see Nappa gunned down similarly to how you were, and Meloka gets shot down by a flanking saucer. This wasn't part of the plan.
Now what?

"Tatsu, you ok?"
"Yeah, still here." he replies, as you both stand. "Those weapons hurt."
"Agreed, fuck these guys." you reply. "Ready to throw up a Power Ball?"
"My pleasure." the vet replies. "Run interference for me?"
"You got it." you reply, taking to the sky again and rushing back at the craft that shot you down. Flying between their lasers, you make it to the lead ship and Piercing Fist straight through the cockpit, splattering the Grey pilot all over the ship's insides.
With the rest of the formation's attention focused on you, Tatsu gathers his energy and throws a Power Ball up high into the sky. With a shout of "Burst open and mix!" the ball begins radiating light and energy. Staring at the ball, you feel the change begin to overtake you. Despite taking several hits to your now-immobilized form, you transformation continues unabated until the Grey saucers are no longer facing 5 Saiyan Warriors. They are facing 5 unbelievably pissed off Oozaru. The ships continue firing upon you, but the blasts now feel no worse than beestings. Looking around, you see the rest of your team and Nappa have transformed as well.

With a roar, you leap high into the air and crash down on top of the hanger. With several more leaps, tanking scores of blasts from the Greys' ships, you reduce most of the building to rubble. Turning your attention to the attacking ships, you effortlessly swat a dozen of them from the air with one giant hand. After several more swings, you have taken out he ones that tried attacking you and Tatsu. Looking toward the others' battle, you see that they've finished off the fleet of spacecraft. Looking towards the tower, preparing to either climb it or smash it, you see a lone metallic figure standing atop it.

Another of those puny metal men thinks it can challenge you. With a roar, you quickly charge up your Mouth Blast and fire it at the robot. But instead of obliterating it, the robot leaps over your beam and dashes straight towards your head. Before you can react, it flying kicks you between the eyes. The force this machine packs is intense, enough to lift your enormous feet off the ground before crashing into the wall, the weak structure crumbling under your weight. Seeing what happend, the rest of your team prepares to attack the metal man.

Ow. That actually hurt. Looking up you see your friends engaged in combat with the metal man. With him distracted, you get back up and run over to the tower and ram it with your shoulder. With an audible crack, Before it can fall to the ground, you grab the tower and take to the air. Watching the battle and waiting for your moment to strike, this metal man's power amazes you. Standing toe to toe with four mighty Oozaru, it is holding its own. Dodging Leyas' punch, it flies up and punches him in the face, only to get knocked to the ground by Tatsu's axe-handle strike. Not staying down, it dodges both Meloka and Nappa's stomps and takes back to the air, hitting Nappa with an uppercut savage enough to send him toppling over. Seeing your chance, you dive at the machine and swing the tower down with all of your might. Turning, the robot takes a building to the face and is smashed down to the ground. With a triumphant roar, you throw the tower down on top of him, crumbling the structure. After a few seconds the metal man bursts up through the tower, attention focused on you.

With this thing's speed and power, you have a great idea. When it rushes at you again, you begin defending, blocking its strikes, waiting for your moment. And there it is! With a roar you grab the little metal man in both hands, squeezing with all your crushing power.
Analyzing. Beginning escape protocols.
The machine tries to escape, but your crushing grip is unrelenting and soon you hear groaning, straining metal.
Error. Rshoulder damaged. Unresponsive. Primary weapon charged, firing
With that a pair of red beams fire from its' eyes into your hand. With a howl of pain you release the robot, and blast it point blank with another Mouth Blast. Taking the attack head-on, the robot is blasted through the fortress wall, only to again fly up above it. But this time you can tell you did some damage. The robot's right shoulder joint is completly crushed, the arm now useless. You've finally damaged this thing.

With that machine barely hurt from the beating you gave it, you decide to up the ante. Focusing on your power, you manage to create your Energy Fist as an Oozaru, the others able to feel the power radiating from your hand.
Error. Anomaly detected. Hostile power level exceeding shielding. Beginning evasive protocols.
With a roar you bellow your challenge to the metal man, who makes no move towards you. No matter, you'll bring the fight to it! You take off towards the machine and attempt to use your Energy Fist, only for the robot to leap over your fist and kick you in the side of your head, sending you spinning. Which was its' mistake. Using the momentum of the spin, you backhand the robot with your other hand, sending it crashing to the ground. Continuing the spin, you crash your Energy Fist down upon the metal man before it can escape. With a massive boom your attack detonates, a truly terrifying amount of power released into the helpless machine. When the smoke clears, all that is left of the metal man is its' head, red eyelights going out. With a triumphant roar, you revel in your victory, until Tatsu extinguishes the Power Ball and you all revert, losing conciousness.

Upon waking, you notice the others still sleeping. Looking around the area, you find the remains of the hanger. Realizing you have no way off-world, you hope that there is still a spaceworthy ship left. "Yes I am the captain" you tell the android.
Very well. Scanning... Scan complete. Captain's facial structure recognized. Are you ready to depart captain?
"Not yet." you tell your newest subordinate. "I have to gather the rest of my team. But first, what can you do? Can you fly the ship?"
Yes, I am designed to pilot this specific craft. I am a pilot model, non-combat unit.
"Very well. Let me gather my team and clear the debris, then we will be ready to take off."
Yes sir.
Making your way back outside, you see your team has finally begun waking up. Walking over to the group, you ask how everyone is.
"I feel great!" Nappa yells out, throwing a few punches and kicks. "I've never felt so strong!"
"I'd say so." Tatsu says, watching his scouter. "Your powerlevel has jumped up to 7000.
"What?! 7000?" Nappa asks, incredulous. "That thing's gotta be broken."
"No, it still works." Leyas tells him. "We've simply become stronger. I'm now at 6545. Meloka, you've bumped up to 6237, Leyas is up to 6301, and Karn is..." he trails off.

"I'm just that good." you brag to your friend, gettina a laugh out of the mountain of a man.
"Haha Karn, I knew you'd catch me one day."
"Hey uhh Karn?" Meloka asks you. "With our pods blown to hell, how are we getting off this rock?"
"Don't worry, I found us a ship." you tell everyone. Just have to clear some rubble then we can head back to base."
"A ship? Awesome!" Meloka numps and fist-pumps the air.
"Alright everyone, with me. We're leaving this dump."
Leading your team to the ruined hanger, you all make quick work of clearing it out. Exposed to the air, your new ship gleaming in the sunlight, you take a minute to warn your team of your newest "member" then board the ship.
Greetings Captain. Ready to depart?
"Yes. Our destination is Freeza Planet 79, chart us the fastest course." you tell your pilot.
Yes captain
With that settled, you are about to turn and look to see where everyone went when Meloka leaps up onto your back. Arms wrapped around your neck and legs around your middle, she whispers in your ear, "Hey come look what I found," while dragging you towards a room. The door sliding open, you see a small bedroom. With an actual bed. Turning to look at Meloka, she asks you with a smirk, "Much more comfortable than a tiny pod, huh?" You realize this will be the most enjoyable space traveling you've ever done.

Saiyan Conqueror Quest 3 End

Well thanks a lot guys. Y'all motivating me to start prewriting and planning for the next few installments. The Grey Empire Arc will be around 3-7 more installments, depending on a few things. In the next year in-quest, a call from your King for all Saiyans to come to Planet Vegeta will be issued. THIS WILL NOT BE THE BARDOCK EPISODE. This will be something else entirely, and 2 years before THAT call goes out. I will let everyone know the difference when it happens.

He certainly is strong, though it's never stated WHEN babidi recruited him, and that control spell babidi used did power him up,
like it does with the rest of his minions. So a pre-majin Yakon might end up being manageable.
Also he did barely anything, he got stomped in his fight pretty fuckin hard.

>>
>>1591458
It's almost like there's a reason we never actually got consistent numbers after Frieza.
Except for the guidebooks but who reads those, amirite?
I don't know if the powerlevels in the guidebooks are canon or not and I'm scared to ask anybody.
>>
>>1591458
that's because powerlevels were created for the sole purpose of being completely useless. There were never meant to be used as an actual representation of power and the only reason we use them is because we need something to gauge progression in quest. When it comes to canon you have to think of it less like power levels and mmos and more you get stronger when you need to and everyone has the potential to get stronger and fight harder, like how master roshi has kept up with his training and is still arguably the strongest human on the planet, even all the way up to super.
>>1591465
they're not, power levels are bullshit and not supposed to be used seriously. That's just shitty toei trying to cash in on people who try to gauge power levels anyway.
>>
>>1591482
I assume at some point in the quest we're just gonna faze out powerlevels as numbers and go to the standard "How does my energy stack up to what I'm sensing?" method.

>>1591502

>>1591482
Powerevels are bullshit, but for this I'mma use them as hard numbers. Nobody can just manipulate their numbers (yet).
>>1591447
>>1591445
Using Vegeta as the example, it raised him, a Super Saiyan, equal to a Super Saiyan 2. So a 2x boost minimum.
>>
>>1591440
"An entity who is taken under Babidi's mind control will have all of their evil feelings amplified, causing them to unleash all of the target's hidden power and focus it beyond their natural limits."
"Besides tremendously increased raw might, the target also gains other benefits, such as the ability to completely control their ki, enabling normal people to fly and produce energy blasts. They gain a seemingly limitless stamina. They also become nearly unkillable and zombie-like, feeling little to no pain from injuries and are relatively unfazed by what would normally be fatal injuries."
Some quotes from the wiki. If it indeed works this way, then: A naturally powerful species (as yakon's clearly is) would benefit greatly from the majinization, since it works similar to unlocking potential. In addition, creatures with little to no ki control also benefit (perhaps the most) from it, since they go from zero ki control to complete ki control.
So even if he was a relatively untrained, near-bestial savage on his home planet, he'd get a very good boost from the spell. I guess the exact strength of the boost would depend on how close the individual was to their natural limits before they got hit with the spell.

You have to understand that Frieza and Cooler love being spoiled.
Cold probably pulled out all the stops for his kids in terms of what they got.

In a sense, if you want to paint it that way, but come on, that's not their actual intention they're just evil fuckheads. Besides, you could also argue that they lower the overall power level of the universe when they kill powerful races like the saiyans. And even if they were needed, if the cold clan were gone then the saiyans would just take up the reins. It seems pretty clear that Karn isn't necessarily a nice or merciful person and a good portion of the anons would like to keep him that way, rather than go the way of saiyan Frank.

Well technically there is the android pilot, plus we could always get a fifth guy to join, that'd be cool.
>I never had a father the post.
But I...I love my dad
>>
>>1592456
You included us in the 'new' subordinates.
>>
So since we're tied with Nappa for strongest non-royal Saiyan, are we gonna get promoted?
>>
>>1592460
>But I...I love my dad
Did you get anything for Father's Day?
Did you hang out with him?
>>
>>1592443
I'm totally okay with that whole wolf pack mentality. The four horsesaiyans.

I was saying other quests kinda go right when Goku is with Bulma after Balls or before Raditz. There's a lot of unused fluff man.
>>
>>1592443
>past year's worth
Fuck those pods are stealing our time
>>1592456
Literally who?
>>
>>1592460
Odd, Mine was like King Cold and Freeza's. Dad beat me and made me into a man the hard way. Love him for it.

>>1592464
maybe his dad is dead like mine Anon.
>>
>>1592472
Let's not go into fathers anon. Inevitably there will be too much salt. Besides, the sons continue the line.
>>
>>1592460
I say dead before it began in the sense of it veered waaay off the wanted course rather quick. May just be only my opinion, but I'm sticking with it.
Merciless warrior is a fun way to play.
>>1592461
Maybe someone(s) in your group being split up to balance between high levels and low level warriors. Plus Nappa does want to learn the Power Ball, and that is NOT a good idea to try in the ship.
>>1592462
When you return to Planet Vegeta, maybe. Right now you're equivalent to a Sgt. in Freeza's army, in charge of a small group of lower-ranks.
>>1592469
>unused fluff
Kame House cutaway intensifies
>>1592470
Yes, the ship is somewhat faster. Will make the 3 1/2 month pod trip take only 2 months. Meloka wishes the ship was a little slower.
>>1592472
>>1592479
>dead fathers
Guys stop. Please. Bringing up bad memories here.
>>
>>1592486
Sorry. Not all of us have possible retireed supervillains as dads.
>>
>>1592486
Is.. is nappa gonna talent snatch us? The cheeky little cunt.

Ya can't stop me and my depression. Not until we save planet monkie.

is Meloka going to need a baby tube?
>>
>>1592486
I know we did some stamina training, but I doubt that we could last for 3 1/2 months. Do saiyans train for this?
>>
>>1592499
>>1586426
>>
>>1592502
>Do saiyans train for this?
Do you not?
>>
>>1592503
I meant, is she pregnant already?
>>
>>1592502
Meloka is prime material, Strong, driven, imaginative. I dunno about you but at least once a day with a primo candidate is a must.
>>
>>1592507
Only one way to find out. Gotta keep that line strong.
>>
>Gotta keep that line strong.
I hope it's twins.
>>
>>1592493
No its about some irl shit. Don't ride motorcycles if you have a family, they'll miss you when you're gone.
>>1592499
Maybe. Someone else may want their own squad, now that they're powerful
>baby tube
She's getting a tube full of babies if you know what I mean.
>>1592502
What is round 2, 3, 4,...45, 46, 47,...
>>1592507
>>1592512
>>1592515
You'll have to wait and see. Who knows?
>>1592508
>once a day
Do you think y'all left that room YET in the hours since you left the planet? Karn and Meloka are in that "brand new couple" phase.
>>
>>1592518
I KNOW WHO I WANT TO SEE, VEGETA'S MOM.

is our Old man Vet finally getting a promotion?

How is Nappa handling the death of his team mate's and are we gonna have to fight him for title of general?
>>
>>1592518
Okay but is Meloka super possessive?
Because Karn is still a Saiyan ya know...
>>
>>1592530
So is Meloka, once that baby's out she might stay with Karn, she might be interested in someone else. Logically, they should both have that chance.
>>
>>1592518
Irl dad was a greaser, did the whole motorcycle deal. Luck and skill on the bike. The other scary stuff? all him.

>>1592518
Hence why I said at least. You get a mate that works? Plow.
>>
>>1592532
I feel since she's know about Karn and she's grown to get near him..she's the best kind of low key yandere.
>>
>>1592551
True. Importantly though, she'll probably(?) get it if Karn goes and plows another chick, though he'd probably get an earful if he tried to be sweet on any others besides that. Gotta remember what I was responding to.
>>
>>1592560
Why be sweet on anyone below 6000 powerlevel, that spent their life growing just for us?
>>
>>1592470
He hates gifts, has this thing against celebrating stuff. Refuses to have his birthday celebrated and only barely tolerates birthday celebrations in general, in fact, on my birthday, he said I was getting too old for birthdays and went on this speell about how he never celebrated stuff cause the old country was hard and bla bla bla. So on that note, I did visit him for father's day and we worked on his garden together, after that I took him out for dinner. That's about the most I can do for him without him getting all preachy and annoyed with me. Still, my dad is pretty easy to read and it seems like he had a good time, so I'm happy for that. He's incredibably hard to get along with, and living with him as teenager was insanely frustrating for the both of us, but once I got older and left the house to do my own shit, we got along way better. So yeah, I do love the guy, even if he's kind of an asshole, he's an asshole with a good heart when it counts.
>>
>>1592574
I think you responded to the wrong post.
But anyways, my father is the same way, save for the prejudice against birthdays and shit.
He always enjoys it when I stop buy and help out around the house.
Sometime I even stop by the warehouse he works at and pay for lunch. Guy loves his food.

Maybe, maybe, this is the second team he's lost just like Tatsu, which is what they're talking about.
Nappa's already general. And you aren't willing to kill him for the job.

She's wanted this for years. A few days straight probably aren't enough.
