Last time on undead quest we began our establishment as more than a low level vampire. We gained four powerful thralls total and began our shadowy assault on the Black Cats holdings in the town of Sverelfan.

Thrane the Vampire-Greater undead.

Spells-
Deathbolt lv2: inflict more damage or attack multiple targets
Soul harvest lv2: grab an enemy and pull their soul from their body. Increased effectiveness.
Soul drain lv1- drain the soul from one enemy at range. Difficult against powerful opponents.
Thrall control lv3: control up to 10 thralls without strain.
Leech- grab an enemy and drain their lifeforce to bolster your own
Dark master lv1-with the application of a bit of blood and your magical power, control a living thrall with absolute loyalty.
Shapeshift lv1-take on a human appearance. Will dissipate if damage is taken or encountering silver, sunlight or holy idols.

Notable mutations-
Vampiric might-much stronger than a normal human.
Lords stature. Your body is massive, conferring bonuses to strength and durability
Bonescale hide-your skin is pebbled with knobs of bone greatly increasing your resistance to slashing weapons.

Minions-
1 Risen- intelligencex2
1 Revenant- speedx4
1 ghoul- Damagex2
1 Bonewarden- Durabilityx1

>Summarizing here.

The Mage clenches his fist as arcs of crackling white energy grow between them. His teeth are visible in the shadows of his hood, clenched in effort as he gathers his power for a spell.

The gangmember facing your Revenant charge, expecting to bowl over the thin undead. His face twitches into a cruel smile as his form blurs, steel forming a Grey shine in the air as he whips the edge through them a dozen times over. They fall to the ground, less in pieces and more in chunks, blood spattering wetly across the floor.

You step forward, hoping to subdue the mage before his spell is ready but a bolt of errant energy from his hands drives you back, scorching the flesh of your arm as you hiss in pain. He mouths arcane words silently, his eyes glowing faintly as his spell reaches its crescendo.

*THUNK*

The spell dissipates, energy fading into the air with the stink of ozone as the mans eyes roll up into his head, his hood falling back to reveal a bald head with swirling, erratic tattoos and a large bleeding gash on the back. Your Revenant hefts his large, jagged table leg over his shoulder, smiling viciously

"Want me to hit'im again boss?"

>Hit him again

>subdue him and drain enough blood to keep him weak

Subdued him and drain his blood leaving him weak. Bind him so he won't be able to move or cast spooky spells from his wizard hands.

It was....a time of legend...lost, forever in the shrouded mists of antiquity. Still, our adventurers quested for decades, searching...searching for the word of power that would bring down all the evils of this world. A single phrase. It was at the near end of their lives, bodies worn and tired, they stood on the cliffs of eternity, at the shores of the seas of time. Only there, only there, could the whispers of the everlore be heard across the ocean breeze, over the empyrean unsand somehow ever flowing upward into the sky in great columns. Before the adventurers could speak, a voice sounded, clear, absolute, knowing and beautiful. Somehow each heard it in their own native tongue and without hearing it all at once. "The words you seek.... namefag...his name is namefag. "

And with that, the warrior, his sword little more than a cane, tip blunt from endlessly propping him up, did look to the sky, and he shouted the words of power for all to hear...and like that, he died where he stood. However on this eternal and yet entropic shore, his death scream, those words, were frozen, ringing forever more.

to have a living agent in this world, let alone one who could claim he had slain us, to be our eyes and ears. That would be very beneficial. We also do not know the limits of a living creature. His body may be be twisted to serve our needs.

>13. Your will is mine.

You gesture to Wick, the slender Revenant propping up the groaning mage and putting him into a headlock. The man struggles weakly, eyes dazed and glassy as he slaps at Wicks arms.

Your eyes glow a deep scarlet as you crouch in front of him, fangs bared in a vicious grin as his face is forced upward, mouth held open.

You bite a finger, the cool flesh parting under your fangs like silk before a razor. Thick droplets, tinged with a scarlet miasma drip into his mouth, staining his tongue black before he is forced to swallow.

The effect is impressive.

With a burst of strength he rips free of Wicks hold, channeling lightning through his hand to stun the slim undead. Whirling, he faces you, eyes wide and teeth bared, every muscle in his body clenching as your will takes hold.

Little by little you shatter his will and ability to resist, peeling away the layers of his defenses until the bright nimbus of his soul is infested with your dark essence.

He collapses to his knees, pale and sweating, eyes wide and hands shaking. He attempts to rise again but a thought from you overrides his control of his body, forcing him to kneel.

You stare into his sweat slicked face, tongue tripping over the human words
"You... Arrrreee... Miiiiinnnneeee.... Youuurrrr wwwiiillll.... Issss.... Miiiiinnneee."

You place your icy palm on the top of his head as he bows it in helpless acceptance
"Yes.... M-m-master...."

>Raise 6 bodies. Have those 6 bodies eat 1 each for 12 bodies. 2 for Thrane and 2 for Wick. Save those healthy bones for BoneWarden.

With a wisp of thought Wick begins dragging up six of the more whole, intact bodies, lining them up in front of you.

Sinking your fangs into your cool wrist you drizzle dark blood onto the corpses lips, your eyes glowing with necromantic power. The bodies twitch, groaning on the blood soaked floor as their wounds seal shut. Their skin takes on a Grey pallor and they stand, shakily moving to your will. Each of them selects a body and tears into it, stuffing the flesh into their maws, chewing mechanically but with more vigor by the moment.

You drag off a pair as Wick does the same, carefully ripping away the flesh and chewing it down, saving the bones for a special purpose. Eventually you stand from your meal, your thralls already gathering the bones into sacks made of torn clothes and drapes.

Suggestion. Wick gets speed.

All the corpse warriors get durability, because we can use them as meat shields...and eat them back at the lair.
>>
>>1644013
Hmm. Perhps some fun for op there are six minions. We all have different replica she will getting faster. One minion per reply. Bakers assortment so to speak.
>>
We should give Wick a bigger stomach instead so he can eat more than one corpse at a time. Otherwise, his development will probably slow and stagnate.

On our way back, I propose we really look for some trouble. We have a squad of durable zombies, our main guy, Wick, and Skerath - our group is more powerful right now than ever before.

Find some people to kill, drag their bodies home for Thrane, Wick, and the other named NPC's to eat. We can hold off upgrading a massive army til we have a core group of leaders in our pack.
>>
>>1644087
What's our plan for handling clerics, vampire hunters, and paladins? We need to be careful about biting off more than we can chew.
>>
>>1644098
I'm considering all of the thralls with us as expendable. If we run into a very powerful group, we should just not fight them. I think it is worth the risk.
>>
>>1644098
Vampire hunters, Clerics and Paladins wouldn't really be around your area unless you REALLY fucked up.
>>
>>1644087
I'd recommend making the short term sacrifice to return Skerath back to his normal duties for the black cat. He could be useful in diverting resources to us. People who he would normally kill, failed subordinates, "go patrol/ explore here." he lets us know. we ambush them. Steady supply of bodies and fodder.

Plus we might eventually learn who the black cat is, and that is beneficial all on its own.

Before we leave, It would be of benefit like to try and find a female to exploit the cities underclass. Nothing like murderous cannibal posing as a nightwalker.

Cursed: Can we use necromancy for a non combat upgrade? One that gives the guise of life? Warmth, or at least color, maybe a pulse? I.E. "Be more human"
>>
>>1644161
Hmmm ill tell you what, if you describe the spell/undead mutation you have in mind ill write it in as a canon option.
>>
>>1644168
What I am looking for is similar to the Vampire's "Be more human" mutation, but maybe a bit less benign.

"Visage of life"
1-Skin and eyes appear normal, but the minion must feed nightly. It does not need to be a whole corpse, a quarter of one will do.

2-Social instinct- The ghoul exhibits social cues such as waving, humming, smiling, hand holding, giggling, or other expressions that can aid in luring a victim away from a crowd. The cold body and lack of pulse tends to give it away though. The reanimated creature cannot speak, or understand words, but will incessantly try to lure opportunistic targets.

3-False life- The body gains warmth, a pulse, and false breathing. This is a facade though, what pulses in it's body is ichor. Again, feeding requirements increase to a whole body nightly to maintain this charade now needing a fresh body each evening.

4-Allure- The creature begins to become more attractive, more so than is natural. This is the final, and arguably most horrific transformation, each level here makes it more and more impossibly beautiful, turning it into something that can stalk the streets at night, luring people to their death with unfulfilled promises of honeyed lust. Effectively an "enchant", eventually coming to the point where victims will blissfully not fight back as they are eaten alive, bone and all.
>>
>>1644225
I suspect you will, but feel free to tweak that or outright redo the idea as you see fit. I am just throwing it into a general direction that the idea is "Look more and more beautiful, while actually being more and more of a mockery of life"

I imagine if we had an intelligent undead, like a revenant, then it would probably skip the early phases, and just move towards false life, etc.

I have no idea how this would apply to a sexy, sexy, skeleton.
>>
>>1644225
I love it. Completely surpassed what I expected.

"Visage of life" is now a upgrade applicable to minions similar to Thranes "become more human". Intelligent minions will be preferable as they are able to actually think on their own. They will receive small bonuses towards strength, durability, speed and intelligence similar to Thrane while becoming slightly more vulnerable to holy idols and magic.
>>
>>1644254

For a mutation, I suggest this:

Adaptive diet: Certain things that are consumed give at first boosts, then temporary qualities, the final evolution of this mutation allows Thrane to consume something and gain up to two mutations in relation to his meal. Two spells if the meal is magically able
>>
>>1644353
Sure. Ill allow this.

The "other" section of mutations is there for a reason ;)

>Durability for minions.
>6 Zombies created.

Your six new thralls stand ready as you inspect them. They are slightly larger and bulkier, their bones thickening as you watch. Their skin becomes a dark grey, black veins standing out. Their arms and shoulders bulge with slabs of Grey muscle under the leathery skin. They groan to one another as they begin picking up the sacks of bones. One knocks over a lantern as it turns, the glass bulb of oil falling to the floor

>Wick Speed currently maxed at Lv6.

A blur and a gust of wind sees the bulb of oil back where it sat before, Wick leaning against the wall shaking his head in disappointment at the zombie. His body has become even more slim, his limbs lengthened and fingertips extending into long, spiderlike digits. His eyes glow similarly to you as he grins, a mouthful of bloodstained teeth showing in the light
"Wouldn't want that to cause a fire now would we boss"

Skerath pauses behind you as you begin filing into the tunnel, blood splashing around your feet as Wick leads the shambling Zombies out of the basement.

"Ssssskeraaath.... Reeemaaainnn heeere.... Connntinuuuee Yourrrr taaaassskkksss.... Sennndd those doooomed to dieeeee.... To meeee...."
You rasp, gesturing away the bald headed mage. He nods, replacing his hood and sweeping out through the door above you.

Your zombies follow behind as you and Wick race back to the lair, the suns coming glow on the horizon bringing you worry. You squeeze into your lair with minutes to spare, the sun already boiling away the skin of your broad back.

You blink in shock at the new addition to your lair. It seems your minions had been quite busy while you were gone.

The cave itself had been expanded into the hill, a broad shelf in the coolest and darkest part cushioned with leaves and scraps of clothes and kept isolated with a curtain-like sheet of torn canvas from a wagon.

A secondary hollow in the wall near the entrance had been dug, restraints made from leather strips and pegs of stout wood and bone pounded into cracks in the wall. Your cave can now hold several live prisoners and nearly two dozen dead ones. Your Ghoul, Risen and Bonewarden kneel before you, their makeshift tools piled against the far wall.

You congratulate them, waving them away as you recline into your resting place. Your Zombies will arrive shortly with the racks of bone for the Bonewarden

While you slept the day away, your Zombies arrived with their burden. The BoneWarden clatters happily, pulling open the bags of bones, handing them to the Ghoul to gnaw and scrape clean before handing them back.

The Bonewarden begins adding the bones to its mass in a nonsensical pattern, the bones adhering to its body like they were glued. With the last bone added, the Bonewarden shifts, its form twisting and warping as its body changes.

Many of the bones are absorbed, melded into its own, thickening and lengthening them. Its shoulders broaden, arms lengthening until the long, daggerlike claws nearly scrape the ground next to its thick legs.

Ribs and vertebrate shift and morph, molded into a interlocking set of armor over its torso and back. Extending over its shoulders and upper arms like jagged pauldrons. The helm of jagged bone is enlarged, fragments of the stolen skulls used to form a thick shell protecting the fragile skull within.

Its eyes glow with a deep, violet flame within the empty sockets as it rises, scraping four jagged furrows in the stone of the wall.

Das is good, hey Cursed I got a few mutation ideas for you.

Not sure on how to give a description, but a second pair of jaws like a moray eel.

Serrated claws- Unlike a smooth blade of a sword or talon, these are more like a broken bottle. Causing extra bleeding when slicing into enemies.

Proboscis- Exactly what it says, only instead of replacing the mouth it's actually a vein that extends out into a rapier-like form that's able to suck out blood. Or inject blood in.

Maws upon maws- Why have one or two rows of normal human teeth? When you can have three rows of shark-like teeth, with saber canines? Biting is far more effective, because Jesus whoever survives that bite is a fucking abomination or a machine of some sort.

Web making- Bats drink blood, so do mosquitos, but spiders drink up their prey as well. Able to form webs of various degrees of strength and size.

Sanguine love- We're able to pump out pheromones that can set off a different array of feelings. For example: lust

What you're drinking isn't...wine- Our blood is the best drink you could have! It's like drinking Aphrodite's tit milk! (Un)fortunately it's addictive, and people are always going to look for their fix of our blood

>>1644895
I'd like to build on that idea.

"Devouring Maw"
This path allows a soulless thrall to fully embrace its unending hunger, and support our liege in the process.

1. Rending teeth- the jaws of this creature horrifically snap and stretch, with rows upon rows of teeth filling the gaping void, allowing for extra damage and 1 extra body to be consumed in a bloated belly. The creature must eat 1 body per day, or it will begin to degrade as its unnatural hunger consumes itself. After 3 days, both weakened and berserk, it will attack the nearest source of meat, dead, undead or living.

2. Blood drinker- The voracious feast is now stored in the beast's belly, to be absorbed by master or thrall, for either healing, or once full counting as a full body consumed. 3 human sized corpses= 1 full pool of gore.

3. Berserk instinct- Regardless of the original body, the undead will begin to semblance of its former self, walking on 4 limbs while it's head begins to extend into a long eyeless snout that simply rips out of it's former face. Constantly sniffing and chuffing the air around it for prey, even small rodents.

4. Corpse hauler- The body of the risen gains reinforced joints and powerful musculature for hauling bodies, while not a significant increase to speed, or strength, it is of overall benefit.

5. Gullet. The undead will not only bite, but attempt to outright swallow it's prey. While the struggle endures the prey can take no action. If swallowed after a d20 challenge, body and soul are either consumed or stored.

Each upgrade past this point simply makes the undead a more anamalistic, efficient soul consuming machine, gradually growing in stature.
>>
I have some too

Efficient necromancy: allows you to raise more cratures from a single body

Lvl1: can raise a blood monster. Has similar properties to a water elemental and if you choose to improve this specific creature then it gains the ability to turn into different forms, like vapor, or ice.

Lvl2: skin beast. These creatures act as living cloaks that wrap around, and strangle prey. If you choose to focus on this specific monstrosity then it may gain spines,a minor gliding ability, or color changing abilities.

Lvl3: marrow monster. A brown sludge like creature which is similar to a blood beast but this creature will try to get Into the enemies lungs and drown them. If you choose to focus on this specific creature it may gain the ability to throw globs of itself and control them remotely at a certain range

im thinking up more
>>
>>1646658

Danke for expansing on that anon, you're good in my book

>>1646873

Das is good anon, das is good
>>
Lvl4: a creature made out of entrails of a corpse which ises intestines to move around and manipulate objects while spewing noxious gas from its lungs. It leaves a thin trail of black bloodbehind it and at higher levels this blood can surround the entire monstrosity, enabling it to squeeze into tigher areas and burn the living as it touches them. If you choose to improve the lungs the gas they spew out will become more and more toxic, and acidic

Lvl5: nervous system stealer. Just some nerves and a brain, this deformed monstrosity cannot move on its own, though, if another minion places it into the cranial cavity on another livivng being then it can bore into, and take control of the host. Slowly assimilating its memories and skills to the point where, if left alone to its actions could become indistinguishable from the original. One downside is the host bleeds black miasma if wounded

Someone else think of some more please

sorry it took awhile captcha was being dumb
>>
Would undead genetalia be able to make babies? Im uh...asking for a friend
>>
If an undead eats enough bodies, instead of evolving for combat it can instead form a clear sack on its back where the flesh and soul of the creature are dissolved and turned into a dark green glowing liquid, this liwuid is basically an energy drink for the undead and boosts their capabilitie temporarilys but they crash afterwards. Drinking too much in a short amount of time willcause the undead to go into a battle frenzy and attempt to kill everything around them, friend or foe. After this frenzy the undead have to hibernate for days to recover. (Or keel over dead, depending on how weak they are)

I like your idea a fair amount, but I offer a refinement by combining some of the options.

"Gore Host"
This is a series of upgrades for only a soulless thrall, more twisted than the usual. Granting a soul to such a creature could have unintended consequences... Each component thrall is fairly weak on its own, and should one fall, the gore host can simply harvest more. The Gore host has an option of packing more organs and flesh into it's body to enhance its own minions.

1. "Gore beast" The zombie disembowels itself, all of its organs and entrails spilling out of the ragged wound. Bodily fluids, filth and liquifid marrow seep from its eyes, nose, mouth, and very bones add to this foul, sticky mass. In close combat it can tangle, grab, suffocate. It's repugnance cannot be understated.

2. "Flayer"
The host's fingernails turn into short cruel hooks it uses to mutilate it and other's bodies, like fine tools. The Flayed carefully removes its own skin, then wears it once more. The dark magic allows the skin and muscles to shamble along and engage a target. What remains of the host is a bloody skeleton

4. "Neural horror"
The Host can disgorge its spine, brain and eyes out it's mouth. The resulting creature looks and moves like a sort of centipede made from the aforementioned items. The only tell that it has taken over a victim is that their eyes are replaced with the eyes of the host. The host can seek out new material from a fresh corpse to replace its lost parts.

5. "The Sacrifice"

The host can temporarily or permanently disband itself into component creatures to augment fellow minions.
Flesh becomes a living suit that encases and augments strength and speed. The gorebeast can stuff itself into a zombie to provide projectile poison/ acid vomit. Adding a brain to an undead increases intelligence, though looks horrific. Finally, The ragged core, the skeleton can opt to preform a final sacrifice, which undoes it's existence. Bonding with another bone construct imbues the recipient with the power to animate skeletons for a time, from available corpses. The undead are under the direction of the thrall, and cannot be directly controlled by the vampire lord, as is the case of all of the Gore Host's creations.
>>
>>1646978
Rolling this: Into...as an idea, because its cool
>>1646658

6. Entropic Seal
The undead can process the bodies and souls it captures into a spiritually infused slurry. When vomited onto a creature, living or dead, they will move with great speed and strength for a short time, their minds consumed with madness, as their bodies rapidly degrade towards skeletal husks, all energy reserves both spiritual and physical are consumed by this potent curse. Can be harvested and bottled. A measure of last resort, or perhaps a powerful weapon.
>>
I think we're getting too out there and adding too many things for the time being. Maybe propose these things as specific mutations for when the time comes it may be advantageous to our goals?
>>
>>1647915
I agree. Not that these are bad ideas, but I don't want Cursed to get overwhelmed with the shitload on his plate.
>>

Agreed. A huge, huge part of this quest is seeing what cursed comes up with from our upgrade requests. Not knowing is part of the fun.

>1. For the Risen, Ghoul and 6 Zombies to hunt along the road

>>
>>1651502
Holy fuck, man.
>>

The Risen, Ghoul and zombies. They're going to need all the help they can get.
>>
>>1651547
I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU FOR LONG ANONS. MY LOVE FOR MY CHOSEN PEOPLE IS TOO STRONG.
>>
>>1651545
Lets start with the clusterfuck that is the Risen. Though I want to peek at Wick. Skelly is just a digging fool.
>>
>You are the Risen.

You heft your spear, stepping out into the bright daylight, edging through the slightly widened entrance to the masters lair. Behind you lopes the Ghoul, long claws scraping furrows in the trees and ground as it crawls on all fours like a beast. Behind it comes the troupe of Zombies, their graying hands clutching the hatchets and cudgels they had used in life.

You regard them with the haughty eye of a superior servant upon a lesser one. They are bumbling creatures, without the gift of the master that raised you to the level you reside at.

"Comee.... The master bids us to hunt.. Come.."
Your voice is rough, but not too harsh to be hard to make out.

Walking through the woods you spy several small animals and deer running away from the noise produced by your Zombie companions. The ghoul looks at them hungrily, long grey tongue sliding across its torn lips. It does not chase them however, obedient as a hound it remains at your side.

Eventually the road stretches before you as you crouch in the bushes, a well trodden path through the woods wide enough for a pair of wagons.

You are about to order your zombies to set up a ambush when a snapping voice is heard. You hear voices, several voices, approaching with the clatter of carts and the tramp of feet.

A group of men, some ten strong is moving down the road, hauling carts behind them laden with bits of junk and odds and ends. They are swarthy and bearded, heads wrapped in elaborate hoods. Swords and long daggers are seen at their hips and they move with a sense of readiness for any situation

>10 Majadin Merchants found

>Ambush from one side of the road

>Hit them from the front and back

>Full attack

>Gtfo
>>
>>1651890
Prepare for an ambush but send risen deep in the woods to play as deathly injured person calling for help, trying to lure anyone away from the convoy.
If we separate anyone from the Convoy and kill them in the woods others will soon follow.
>>
>>1651890
Oh shit, I thought we were going to go with them, not take control of the Risen. Wasn't aware it was daylight.

>Hit them from the front and back
Surround them.
>>
>>1651952
I guess it's just us, wanna make a compromise? Let's spring a ambush half in the front half in the back.
>>
Well shit, we're dealing with muslims?

>>1652116

I'll go with this plan
>>
>>1652116
for the sake of moving the quest along, let us spring the front and rear attack as this anon has said. I have the feeling, this may be our first TPK
>>
>>1652290

Not if we play it as smart as we can
>>
>>1652321
And if the dice god wills us to live to fight another day.
>>
>>1652321
>>1652353
the best option would be to harry them, however we are contending with the result of a natural 1, so whatever our actions are, even GTFO, we get hit with that 1. So here is to hoping that getting stuck in by creating a clusterfuck is the best route. The other ones weren't so great either way.

We have 6 zombies, 1 risen, and a ghoul vs 10 dudes. We are at a numerical disadvantage, and they seem tougher than the average goobers we have been fucking up. On the upside, we are tougher than the average undead. Here is to hoping that toughness on the zombies lets us soak up some of the incoming asspain.

>19. Attacks to the front.

With some quick, whispered commands you send the ghoul to the rear of their formation, a trio of Zombies shambling behind it. They take cover in the thick bushes along the road while the ghoul perches in the treetop like a demonic bird.

With the trio of zombies left to you you file into the road, standing with weapons held in ready grasp as the merchants pull up short, speaking to each other in low voices. Eventually one steps ahead, his beard graying and face lined like old leather

"Greetings my Grey faced friend. I am Sulamise Qorvoss and these are my companions. We are simply merchants and desire no quarrel with you. May we pass? We can pay a tribute to you if you wish"
He says, one hand resting on his large coinpurse and the other gripping the pommel of a large, curved dagger.

"Our... Tribute will be your livess" you rasp, stepping forward with your spear held ready.

The Majadin merchant leader steps forward, drawing his blade, the edge rippling silver in the sunlight.
"That is a tribute we shall not pay this day."

With roars of rage your zombies charge forth behind you as you lunge, the razored spearhead deflected easily by the mans dagger.

Your zombies enter combat, swinging their hatchets and maces with deadly effect, the men unable to get close without being crushed. Already one lays gurgling on the ground, chest pulped by a vicious backhand. The zombies thick skin seems to deter the worst of the mans attacks that reach them, only shallow, bloodless cuts opening.

You twirl the spear in your hand, swinging the butt around to club at the Merchants head. He ducks, the oak shaft whistling over his head as you turn, planting your foot and launching your other out, kicking his squarely in the chest.

He tumbles back and bounces up neatly, tossing his dagger from hand to hand as his men surround your zombies, blades flashing as they attempt to avoid the powerful blows

"Fortune favors the bold, undead filth, yet not this much"
He spits, dagger flashing out and scraping sparks from your spearhead as you lunge again, knocking his forearm as you withdraw.

>cont

>>1654612
>1. Communication troubles.

The ghoul drops from above, landing on one of the rearmost men, claws sinking through his garments and flesh like butter. With a wrench, the mans torso is split into three pieces and the ghoul screeches in triumph.

Just before its own Zombies rush out of the forest and bowl it over clumsily, a tangle of claws and teeth and thrashing limbs as the ghoul makes known its displeasure.

The merchants to the rear take initiative and begin stabbing downward into the pile, the points finding more purchase in the zombies skin than the edges did.

>9. The Refs are counting!

Your Zombies begin swinging their weapons with gusto, heavy blows impacting several of the Majadin and knocking them back with deep thuds and the wet crack of bone.

The pinned Zombies push and tug at each other, eager to get back into the fight as they are to escape the furious Ghoul. The gangly creature claws and bites in fury as your Zombies push away the Majadin attacking them and begin the process of untangling the pile of thrashing limbs. Its a lengthy process and they have to fend off the slashes and stabs from the furious merchants and guards. They suffer several wounds but manage to avoid any serious blows

>Ghoul and 3 Zombies unpinned
>2 Zombies mildly wounded

>20. CUP CHECK.

Sulamise twirls his long dagger and darts forward, his age hiding his ability. You thrust and spin, spearhead and dagger blade sparking as they impact in a blur of razored metal.

His teeth grit in the thicket of his beard as he sidesteps, twirling away from the butt of your spear as it whips by his head.
"Ah-Ha! Is this all you have? Filthy mockery of life! I will be end of yoOOOUUU-AAAHHHH!!!"

his face opens up into a rictus of unimaginable agony as you finish your reversal and slam the long spearhead into his groin. Silk, skin and delicate organs part under the metal until the edge impacts bone. He collapses, blood sheeting between his fingers as he clutches himself, white faced and spitting curses.

You flick blood from your spearhead and step over him contemptuously, eying the furious merchant guards
"Who will be next?"
