Character info pastebin in progress: http://pastebin.com/iB0tb7rz
Dice odds for best of 3: http://pastebin.com/994WTT3g

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as circumstances warrant.

Combat mechanics involve three rolls of 1d100, taking the best, and using the base accuracy and crit ranges of the the PTU system, roughly, but the 'turn order' will be more like the anime, where sometimes you can do a few moves in a row or be hit by a combo of moves yourself, all depending on circumstances. Stronger moves tend to take more time and have more cooldown than weaker moves and also may leave you open to an interrupt, so beware of that timing. Speed is more important for closing ground, intercepting, and other things and doesn't necessarily mean going first.

Pokemon and trainers are unique, and may have certain specializations, skills, or other things that the video-game mechanics might not allow. Some examples: That kung fu Bellsprout in the anime, that crystal Onix, or a Roggenrolla that can fly. Herb's perception skills, pokemon knowledge, context clues in general, and other things will hopefully come into play to avoid completely unfair, unforeseeable bullshit, but expect more bullshit from more advanced trainers.

Call me out on a mistake and receive a suggestive picture, mostly likely a butt.

Pokemon:
Gobble (Munchlax)
Mace (Roggenrola)
Belladonna (Roselia)
Dice (Croconaw)

Badges: 3

“I’d like to explore Eelilee some more, then check out Tabo, if that’s okay with everyone.”

They all look at each other, except for Hana, who has lowered herself into the water to halfway up her face. Nobody raises any objections.

“Sounds great.” Laki gets up and stretches in front of you and Hana casually, causing a small cloud of steam to form. The water drips off of her toned body. “Come on Hana. Let’s go get ready for bed.”

“Ready for...I...huh?” Hana looks way too overwhelmed and confused.

Laki rolls her eyes and hands her a towel. “Everyone look away.”

“Sorry everyone.” You hear Hana leave the water and mumbling. “What do you mean get ready for bed?”

Laki whispers into her ear as they head off. Bella runs off with them.

“Dice!” Keira laughs as she lifts a foot up with the Croconaw attached. He doesn’t seem to be hurting her, but he’s hanging off of her pretty well. “You’re silly!” They play for a bit.

You finish up and are just about to leave when Keira tugs your hand.

“Herb, Can I ask you something?” She looks down at the water. Or your butt. You’re pretty sure it’s the water, though.

“Yeah, of course.” You try to keep yourself facing away while trying not to be rude. That feels less important than just listening to her concerns, though.

“I’m not very helpful, am I?”

“What do you mean?”

“I didn’t do anything about Dragonair, I don’t cook. I don’t help with money. I’m so used to the temple and how things worked there. We always just got donations and our duties aren’t so...worldly. I don’t know where to start to be helpful here.”

You feel for her. It’s never fun to feel like a burden. You don’t really feel like she is, of course, but you can understand where she’s coming from. You’re not sure if your new relationship might be making her feel a bit like a hanger-on as well.

Should you console her? Try to give her something she can do to feel better?

“You’re crazy! Y-”

“No I’m not!” She stands up, offended.

“No. Sorry.” you look away. “It’s an expression. I just mean, you do a lot of stuff, like speaking with pokemon and helping me understand auras and that sort of thing better. And you’re always bringing new plants to try out.”

“I guess. But it’s not much compared to the stuff that you guys buy. And Laki could get them too.”

You’re not so sure about that. “Laki probably knows a lot of them, but I’ve seen other islanders who can’t keep up with you when it comes to all the plants.”

She smiles a little at at that. “I spent a lot of time with them instead of my Ghost Temple studies. It got me in trouble sometimes.” She sounds nostalgic.

“This is a journey about finding yourself Kiera. If you wanna try something, try it. I can teach you what I know about cooking, or if you want I’d love to get your opinions and help on some of the clothes for my pokemon. But just do what you want to do.”

She pauses at that, and thinks. She actually lowers herself into the water and sits cross legged. “You’re right. But I have to figure out what I want to try.”

“Well, whatever you decide, just remember that you’re my friend. And I like having you around no matter what. You don’t have to do anything other than just being you.” Without knowing what else to do or say, you tell her you’re heading back, and for her not to stay here too long. She nods, distracted by her own thoughts.

You walk to the campsite, feeling clean, but a little tired. It’s been a physically and emotionally exhausting day that you barely survived on both fronts.

Gobble hurriedly runs alongside you. It takes you a moment to realize what’s on his mind. He’s been spending the night making sure everyone has some fish to eat. You think he deserves a little more than some extra praise. Not too much, since you don’t want to spoil him, but something that lets him know how appreciated he is.

“Thanks for making sure everyone got something to eat.” You pat him on the head.

He smiles widely and leaps. On the second one, you catch him and give him a huge hug.

“I mean it, Gobble. I’m proud of you. And tomorrow, I’m going to make you whatever you want to eat.”

He smiles even wider now. He’s lit up like he’s using Flash.

“Is there anything else you’d like?”

He thinks. He isn’t sure. But after a moment, he nods. He starts making a bunch of gestures.

“You want to cook?”

He nods enthusiastically. You set him down and put a hand on his shoulder.

“Alright then, Gobble. From here on, I’m going to depend on you to be my right hand when it comes to preparing food. Watch me closely, Sous Chef.”

He dances, and makes lots of gestures to show he won’t let you down. You laugh and continue on back.

As you see a single tent being set up. It only now occurs to you that you have no idea what the girls expect from you. You’re suddenly filled with a sense of worry. Will they expect you to know everything? Do you know what you want to do? Oh jeez.

You cautiously open the tent. “Hello?”

Hana and Laki are there in conservative sleepwear, getting ready to sleep. “Hey Herb.” Hana waves.

Laki moves in front. “Hey there. Before you say anything, we need to lay a few things down for this relationship. I hope you’re not expecting us to just submit to your every” she trails a finger down your chest, “whim. We’re your girls, not your slaves, and if you want something, you’re going to have to work for it. You can’t just take us however you want whenever you want. Isn’t that right, Hana?”

“Umm, yeah. I definitely won’t submit to being a slave to your urges.” That line comes out sounding incredibly weird and rehearsed. Her face is contorting.

>Oh good. You wanted to take things really slow
>This is some sort of test from Laki. Give her a passionate kiss

You put a hand on Laki’s shoulder and give it a nice squeeze, like you do when massaging her. “Why don’t we all just relax and see where things go naturally?”

She closes her eyes and relaxes for just a moment. Her shoulders slump and the strap of her tank talk falls on one side. She inhales sharpy and then takes your hand off. “Nice try, Soft Hands.”

By the time she turns to you, you have a hand on Hana’s chin. “Is that okay?”

She makes a noise that keeps going up in pitch. She looks to Laki. “I can’t...”

Oh no. “I didn’t mean to pressure you.” You back off. “I was just trying to be, I don’t know, casual.” You retract your hand.

Now Hana looks worried about your reaction. “That’s not what I meant. I meant that I can’t res-”

Laki covers her mouth. “It’s fine. We understand, Soft Hands.” She leans in to whisper to Hana, but you can make out a few words. Something about caving and power. Hana nods, putting on an oddly brave face.

“Let’s just go to bed.” Laki says.

After a massage for Laki, -Hana turned down the offer-, the three of you get under the blankets. But in the night, both Hana and Laki find their way to sharing the blankets with you. Hana looks like she’s having an awfully hard time falling asleep, and Laki keeps pushing her butt against you like she’s trying to scratch an itch. But you’re just so tired. Once your pokemon start settling in and cuddle by your feet and head, you fall asleep.

You wake up the next morning feeling very rested. Laki seems a bit cranky and so you decide not to bug her. Hana looks terrible, like she didn’t get any sleep at all. You put a hand on her shoulder and she makes that noise again. You guess you all have some adjusting to do.

Keira bursts in, excited to start a new day! This helps ease some of the tension in the tent.

“What do you want for your special meal, Gobble?”

He’s still thinking on it. You’ll have to get back to him. He’s putting a scary amount of thought into this. Until he gives you an answer, you’ll just continue on as normal.

"The fisherman’s place isn’t far.” Keira announces. “Should we go straight there?”

You decide to cut across the beach, trying to get there as soon as possible. Gobble volunteers to carry all the fish in a huge sack, but Mace and Dice and even Tropius end up helping. Nincada patches it with webbing. Cutiefly and Tirtouga try to help, but are too weak or slow.

“So, Keira. It must be strange to be here as a trainer instead of a priestess.” Hana comments. It looks like she’s trying to distract herself. She’s scratching her arm and looking around like that one movie you saw with the drug addict. You felt guilty staying up late to watch it. You hope it had a happy ending.

“Yeah. The celibate, dicking-free life must be really hard.” Laki comments with a clear edge on her voice.

Keira just smiles awkwardly and runs around in her bare feet on the sand.

“That looks like fun.” Hana comments, still in a bit of a daze.

“Why don’t kick off your shoes and join her?” Laki comments.

You cringe, but neither of them seems to realize, or at least acknowledge, the gaffe. They’re both mentally distracted.

When you arrive, the fisherman looks at the massive pile of fish and laughs. “What’d I tell you? Amazing rod. The best! Those other guys? Pure crap!”

You, Hana, Laki, and Keira bring all the stuff he wanted. The bamboo, the gem, everything.

“Well alright. You know, I honestly was starting to think I’d been swindled by you, mainlander. But this is a great haul. More than I expected or needed, actually. Now-”

You all turn to see Gobble scarfing up an entire bucket of bait. He burps, the picks up the next one.

“Woah! Gobble! Not the bait. Now we have to replace the bait for the nice man. That means less cooked fish for you.”

Gobble looks down, but he still licks his chops, savoring the taste.

“I’m disappointed.” You tell him. You can understand how he got extra hungry thinking about a special meal, but still. He should know better.

The old fisherman doesn’t comment. He strikes you as the type of person that would find fault with almost everything someone does, so you take that as a complement. He still looks grumpy, though.

You spend some time fixing up more bait. Hana volunteers to help and then Laki joins in after that. Keira spends her time chatting with the old man about different things on the island. He ends up actually laughing a few times.

“Excited for the cultural festival?” He asks.

Keira gasps! “I lost track of time! Without a structure it just.. Oh wow is it on right now?”

He looks a little concerned. It’s not often a priestess acts like Keira, let alone forgets something like this, apparently. “Not for awhile yet.”

She calms down. “Okay. Phew.”

Gobble looks like he’s been really trying to make up for it. He puts a lot of effort into mixing more bait. You pat him on the back. “So, decided what meal you want?”

He looks at the bait longingly.

“Really?”

He shrugs, looking almost apologetic. His preference for bait wounds you on a deep level, but you hide it and smile. You'll make it for him if it makes him happy.

“So where are you kids heading off to now?” The fisherman asks.

Keira thinks. “Herb, you still have that note, right? I bet you could get another shard. I can vouch for you.” She looks excited at the prospect of helping out. “We can talk to either the Fire or Ghost temple here. High Priest Makai might get a little jealous if we go to the fire temple instead.” She giggles and whispers. “That would be pretty funny.”

“There’s no rush, right?” Laki asks, washing the bait of her hands. “We could sunbathe or something.”

“Do you think they’d teach me a recipe?” You ask Keira.

“Well, maybe. They’ll probably want to test you first.”

“Fire Temple!” You say excitedly, almost interrupting her.. “We can have a beach barbeque tonight afterwards, if everyone is okay with that?” Oh jeez you want that new recipe.

Keira nods. “As long as there are meatless options.”

“I could really go for some hot meat.” Laki winks at you. Well of course. That’s what a barbeque is!

Hana fiddles with her fingers at that comment and agrees.

“Let’s go!”

It’s a long trip from here to there, but you don’t mind. You slept great! You keep running ahead to check things out and try to help guide everyone on the better path. Keira corrects you a few times, but other times actually enjoys your reports on there being mud or other obstacles sometimes. Apparently the melting ice can make a lot of paths occasionally unviable.

On one little scouting trip, you find a fun little scene. Two pokemon! One you recognize, a Glaceon! It’s so pretty! It’s casually grooming itself. The other, a sort of little ice chunk you can’t quite see clearly from here, is trying to nudge it. It looks like it wants a playful fight.

Wait! That's a Bergmite, right?

You watch for a little longer. They don't seem to know each other, but for wild pokemon, they don't seem on edge at all. You guess they're not natural enemies or anything.

Yeah, sorry mate. I know it sucks. I think everyone knows that there's realistically only two or MAYBE three pokemon left for us to catch, and nobody wants to crowd out their own favourites. Coverage anons won't want a fourth one-type pokemon and story anons won't want to do anything to catch a pokemon that we haven't already gotten to know pretty well.

There was a big push for Eelectross early on too.

I myself was interested in at least getting one bug, or possibly making a mono-normal team. But now I think the best result we could get would be Rotom and Medicham or something.
>>
>>1652509
I was the guy pushing Electross and knew it wouldn't get in unless we befriended it through a story bit first.

Really the best thing to happen is roll like shit when we first run into the Pokemon or right before it so we are at our lowest.

That’s really cute. But you should get going. You head back to tell the girls what you saw.

“A glaceon!” Keira exclaims. “That’s good luck! They’re rare!”

“Are they still there?” Laki asks, looking a lot less cranky. Even Hana looks like she’s snapped out of being lost in thought.

“They were when I left.”

“Let’s go!” Hana says, finally jolting everyone into going to check it out.

The group’s arrival is not exactly subtle, and Glaceon and Bergmite leap into a defensive stance. There’s only a moment’s hesitation before Laki throws her pokemon.

“Go Meowth!”

“Hey!” Hana protests. “I wanted to catch it!”

“Then you’d better be faster than me.” Laki shoots back. “I’m drawing the line at sharing Soft Hands.”

Hana hesitates for a moment, but throws out her Togepi. “You’re such a ...pushy bitch!” Hana lets out, shocking everyone.

“Come on, guys. Keep it civil.” You try to stop this from getting out of control. They barely register your objection, save for some looks your way.

Laki looks like she’s about to say something to diffuse the situation, but Togepi is already attacking. “Shit!”

The Bergmite and Glaceon end up double battling Meowth and Togepi. It’s a hard battle, because neither Hana nor Laki seem to want to knock Glaceon down too far and create an opening for the other to throw a pokeball. And because of this, they end up taking a beating.

“You guys! This is going too far!” You raise your voice.

“This is stupid.” Laki says. “Togepi is going to get hurt.”

“I wouldn’t let that happen!” Hana says, more to herself than to Laki.

Surprisingly, they sort of end up working together, while working against each other. Meowth is ordered to cover Togepi, and Togepi uses Follow me to save Meowth when it’s threatened to be knocked out.

Suddenly things turn, and Laki has the chance to throw her pokeball. She looks at Hana briefly, then you and your disapproving look. You don’t want her to be upset with you and you soften a little.

She sighs, then throws her pokeball out. It hits Bergmite. There’s one ding, then two, then three and the ball settles.

“You wanted Bergmite?” Hana asks and laughs. “Oh! I feel embarrassed.”

“You’re wasting time.” Laki tells her and points her head. Glaceon has decided to try running.

“Ah!” Hana throws her pokeball. It flies at an incredible speed, easily clearing the large distance.

Ding, ding, ding. Click!

Hana can’t believe it for a moment. Laki slaps her on the back and Keira runs up and hugs her.

“You two battle pretty well together.” You say.

Laki looks to Hana. “Yeah. I guess so.” Laki reflects.

“You had a great move back there that really saved the day.” Hana compliments.

“Maybe you should try taking on the gym together.”

They share a look.

“I haven’t been hunting for badges.” Laki says.

“And I already double battled with you, Herb. Remember? I don’t want to be someone that coasts on others.”

“No, I mean it. You’re both good, and you make a good team.”

Togepi laughs as Meowth cleans some dirt off of it.

They exchange another look. “Well. We’ll see I guess.”

Good enough for now.

You continue on. When you have a second with Laki, you tell her she was nice to be the bigger person.

“That a joke about me being manly?” She glares sideways.

“I-! N-no! I didn’t-”

She laughs. “Still too easy, Soft Hands. I wasn’t the bigger person. I was greedy. Bergmite showed a great fighting spirit. Glaceon was too prissy for me. Bergmite wouldn’t have ran like that.”

You try to tell if she’s just being modest again, making a convicing argument, or being honest. It’s hard to tell. But your gut isn’t giving you a necessarily bad feeling, so you let it go for now.

“There it is!” Keira points to the grand fire temple. It’s a huge metal and brick structure, and much more modern looking than you’d expect. And not just on the outside. The inside looks the same way. Modern lighting and other accommodations are everywhere, and there’s a sleek, almost futuristic look.

“Kiera!” The gym leader comes to greet you, but her especially. They exchange bows and formalities. You do the same. It’s almost second nature now. “What brings you here?”

She bows again. “I’d like to petition for Herb and Laki to recieve shards.”

Laki looks surprised.

“You did just as much, and you made a large sacrifice with letting Kecleon go.”

Laki cringes. “Yeah. I guess.”

“I take it you haven’t seeked forgiveness for releasing your pokemon?”

She bows. “No.”

He laughs and slaps her on the back. “Well, you’ve come to the right place.” He claps his hands, and a few of his acolytes appear. They all wear similar clothes, so it’s easy to tell. “Help the dear girl out with that, will you?”

Laki goes with them with a sense of dread.

“Young man, is something on your mind?”

Laki's island traditions are weird and I know that Herb has some serious shonen protag density but at the same time I feel like all this would add up really quickly and he'll confront them soon.

“What does Laki have to do?”

“A ceremony to repent about going against her ways.”

“But...what does it involve?”

“In our case, steam!”

You gulp. He laughs and slaps you on the back.

“She just needs some time in the steam room with some tea to clear her head and conscious. You worry too much. It’s not like we’re going to give her a small brand like in the old days.” He looks off into the past with an oddly nostalgic look. “You see, we believe that someone has to earn their pride, their self worth. If they’re just easily forgiven without a struggle, then it means nothing. We’re not cruel. But redemption without suffering is just a lie. Even if you feel relieved not to get into trouble, deep down you’ll always feel cheapened by such an easy forgiveness.”

“So...it’s just a steam room?”

“It’s an intense steam room, and she’ll be expected to compose a poem. Something passionate, from the heart! Summoning passion when you’re at the peak of your exhaustion brings a unique creativity and flame.”

Well, you guess that’s not so bad. It sounds like the room is pretty intense, but Laki’s handled it before. Still, you make a mental note to really spoil her tonight. “Oh. Okay. I hope she comes out of it okay. I’m trying to convince her and Hana to take on your gym.”

He looks to Hana. “Oh? Too good to battle our gym, are you?”

“No sir!” She squeeks. “I just don’t-”

“Don’t what? Out with it. Don’t think Laki will contribute? Don’t trust your pokemon to keep up? Hmmm?”

“I don’t think I’m a good battler!” She blurts out.

He shakes his head. “Then you’ve already lost.” He waves a hand. “Begone.”

“I...but...”

“Oh? Don’t want to leave? Having a change of heart. Then stand up straight and challenge me. Or challenge something else. But for your own sake, take on some sort of challenge. Find a fuel and use it to grow yourself!”

She considers his words. She looks pumped up. “Okay! We’ll do it! Me and my pokemon.” The determination on her face cedes to embarrassment. “I mean, take on the gym, that is! With Laki if she wants, or without her.”

He nods., then adjusts his belt and turns back to you. “There’s something else, isn’t there?”
(continued)
>>
>>1653228

“Umm, yes sir. I was also wondering if you could teach me a recipe.”

“A recipe?” He cocks an eyebrow. His natural voice is so loud it’s almost as if he’s shouting.

“I love to cook, and I’ve been learning as many recipes around the islands as I can.”

He stops you. “Say no more. It’s your passion isn’t it?”

You’re nod, trying to give an answer but also saying no more like he said.

“Then we’ll teach you!” He proclaims. “Well, we hate to be too stereotypical,” he announces to the laughter of some of the others, “but we like our food spicy here. Think you can handle that?”

“I’ve made a lot of spicy dishes.” You say without thinking. You rattle off a few sauces you’ve used and what you prefer to give a nice, zinging kick.

“Not like this, my friend. We can teach you a few things, but for our ultimate dish, you’ll need to pass the test of spice. Is that something you’re interested in?”

Keira shakes her head, trying to warn you off.

I guess... I don't have an issue with Laki and Hana pushing Herb to be more assertive, but Laki is intentionally keeping enough away from John for some reason that I can't quite understand.
If it's a cultural thing I imagine most people would already know it on her island. The girls KNOW what Herb is like. He won't go for something without their express knowledge on whether it's okay or not.

Also something tells me Kiera's tried this challenge before or had a priest prepare it at the ghost temple for some lesson.

She doesn't want Herb to be overwhelmed and feel he has to just automatically be some superstud right away in his first relationship.

Badges: 3

“Sure, let’s try it! I’ll learn anything you have. Spice, baby food. I want to try it all!”

He chuckles again. “There’s that competitive nature we saw before. Let’s get it prepared, then.” He cups his hands over his mouth ”Get a widowmaker pepper, the healers, the milk bath, and a-” he glances down at Keira, “oh right. That’s convenient.”

Keira offers you the most terrifying smile. It’s a kind, nice, and very pretty smile, but it’s the kind you see in movies when a soldier is asking if he’s going to make it and someone else lies to them and says the wound isn’t that bad.

“I’m going to lose Herb and Laki in one day.” Hana jokes quietly to herself. She offers you an apologetic smile when she sees you heard that.

They take you down to the kitchen area. When you come in, you see Jacob among the people there.

“Now this is a pleasant surprise.” He stops inspecting the room. “High Priest, I expect everything is up to your standards?”

The Priest leans back. “Beyond them. I admit, I was skeptical, but I can’t argue with results. More planning than passion during the building of it, though.”
Jacob smiles. “Oh believe me, the investors are always very passionate.”

There’s another sudden smack on your back. No matter how many times that happens you never get used to it. “He’s going to try the spice challenge.”

Jacob gives you a look. “It’s good to be brave, Herb, but at some point it crosses the line into recklessness.”

“I’ll do anything to improve my cooking.” You say with more determination than you expected your voice to carry. “And it can’t hurt to try, right?”

There’s a round of laughter. Apparently that last part sounded like a joke.

“Well, Herb. You’re braver than me.” There’s a strange look in his eye as he says that, but it fades quickly.

The fire priest gives you another pat. You notice he’s being less careful to avoid direct skin contact. “Keira is saying he deserves another shard.”

“His third one!” Keira announces for you.

“Oh? You’re at quite the quick pace for that. Most islanders never complete the full thing, and those that do take a long time.”

“I guess I’ve been in the right places at the right times.”

“Hmm, is that so?” He gives you another strange look.

Before anything else can be said, Gobble plops himself right beside you and makes an announcement. Keira fills everyone in, but you already know what it is. “He wants to try it too.”

Mace, hearing this, rushes over to your side as well. “And Mace.”

Dice falls over next to you and lazily nibbles on your shoe. From the look on his face, he seems like he doesn’t understand exactly what’s going on. “And Dice.”

Everyone turns to Belladonna. She throws up her arms, then comes over and tries to drag Mace and Dice away from their decision. “She thinks they’re all crazy.”

“Whoever wants to join me can, but there’s no shame in dropping out.” You tell them.

Gobble proudly slaps his chest. He’s not going to back out. Mace looks more like he has a duty to join, but personally thinks this is a bad idea. Dice looks mildly hungry. Bella looks exasperated at everyone.

“Here you go!” Keira appears in front of you, slipping something into your mouth. You’re taken completely by surprise. You brace yourself, waiting for the horrible pain to set it.

“Keira!” Hana shouts, checking to see if you’re okay.

Huh. Maybe you need to chew first. You wish you had gotten to see the shape and colour You take a light bite into it.. A wet, gooey burst fills your mouth.

And it’s sour. Very, very sour.

Keira rolls onto the floor, laughing. “I’m sorry. I had too.” She can barely get the words out. “It’s a candy.”

You look to the others. The fire priest can’t contain himself either and breaks. His boisterous laugh echoes in your chest. Even Jacob is having a bit of a chuckle. Gobble looks unamused. Mace too.

“Alright. Enough messing around.” He whistles, and a container and metal tongs appear. Someone places peppers onto small plates. Then they fill glasses with milk, then bring out a bucket and a whole mess of milk bottles.

“Donations from the Miltank ranchers.” The priest explains to Jacob.

“Oh yes. I’m aware. Who do you think has been subsidizing them?” Jacob casually mentions.

“You don’t have to stick around for this.” The priest offers. “I know you’re busy.”

Jacob gives you another look over. “No. That’s alright. My morning meeting cancelled.” He makes a subtle flick of his fingers, and his assistant takes the hint and starts calling someone, apologizing that Jacob can’t make it. Nobody else seemed to notice that. They’re busy looking at the peppers.

You start looking them over, too. They look like tiny red bananas. You haven’t used these before, but the air around them seems on fire. Or maybe that’s just your imagination.

“It’s simple, Herb. Eat the whole thing, use only the one glass of milk however you want, and consume nothing else for ten minutes.”

“I’d swallow it whole.” Hana says, then blushes a little.

“Some try that. Few can handle the entire thing at once, though. It eases a bit when chewed. Or at least, the pain is stretched. Longer, but lesser. Now, if you need to back out, just dunk your head in that bucket. The vomiting area is over there.”

Dice, Mace, and Gobble all line up in front of their plates. You step forward.

“Ready?”

You chew it slowly, keeping your milk to the side to ration. Okay. You can do this.

And then it sets in. You cough and choke, but keep it in your mouth. The hot lava that was saliva burns. It burns so bad. You almost fall over.

Your hands shake as they reach for some milk. You use a bit to try to sooth things. You don’t even have control. You end up using a little more than intended, and panic. You can’t last. Not at this pace. Your eyes are watering, your skin is hot, and already a thick layer of sweat drips down your face. Everything is fire.

You can see Gobble chewing his and holding out okay. Dice starts to fire jets of energy. You’re about to panic when Hana steps in and dunks him in the milk bucket. You’d be amazed at what you just saw with her lifting him so easily if your eyes weren’t melting.

Dice panics and runs around wildly. The Fire Priest has to jump out of the way. Dice drops the half-chewed pepper on the floor and exhales sharply, trying to sooth his mouth with the flow of air.

You wipe a small glob of snot off your face. You’re too preoccupied to be embarrassed.

What are you going to do? You won’t last. You can feel your willpower melting away like butter on a frying pan.

If you’re going to break, you won’t let it be easy. Scrambling around, you grab a roll of tape and fiddle with it.

“Spice madness.” The priest explains. “It’ll pass. But we best get his head in the bucket. You hold him.”

“Wait.” Jacob places a hand on the fire priest.

You wrap it around your mouth with tape. It’s a terrible job and it gets in your hair and snot and sweat get messed all over your face, but you do it.

Gobble breaks down, unable to cope. He chugs his milk and dunks his head into the bucket. After a moment, Dice tries to eat his again, seemingly having forgotten it was the source of the heat. He panics and spits it out, running in circles. He knocks your glass of milk over, causing it all to spill.

Just your luck.

You regain some control of yourself. Reaching deep, deep down, you summon reserves of willpower you never knew you had. You put yourself into a horse stance and yell into the tape as you chew. Time goes by unfairly slowly, but you break it down. It’s not about surviving minutes, it’s surviving ten seconds at a time. You chew and swallow the remaining bits of pepper and just have to live through it. You go through one cycle, then the next, then the next. Your mouth seems to have fused together. Of course that isn’t actually true, but it feels that way.

At the nine minute mark, you're constant wiping of sweat and snot off your face causes the tape to get loose. There’s still a few drops left in your milk. Now that the option to give up is there again, it becomes tempting once more.

Come on Herb. You just need to hold out a little longer.

Gobble and Dice and chugging delicious, soothing looking milk. They look so relieved. It looks like heaven.

You’re going to tough it out. You have to. Come on Herb. Be a man!

You stare at the glass and watch a drop of milk fall out. You’d trade in your entire wardrobe for that one drop. You pick up the glass and try to shake or lick anything else out of it. But it’s just not enough. You turn to the bucket of milk and dunk your head in, hoping desperately that enough time has passed. It’s such a relief. It’s like putting out a fire. You feel like a temporary insanity has left you. Part of you worries the precious liquid will run out, but as you drink, your head clears up and you of course know you’d never be able to drink it all.

When you bring your head up, you see the pained look on Hana and Keira’s faces. You don’t have to ask. You didn’t make it.

You feel terrible. Gobble pats you on the back.

“My boy, I lasted less than a minute my first try. You’ve got nothing to be ashamed of. You were very close. No ten seconds away. I’ve seen men break their glasses and try to drink from it anyway.”

“What do you say? Close enough?” Jacob offers. “He did lose his milk through no fault of his own.”

The priest considers it. “He did show a lot of passion and fire. Well, I suppose...”

“Yes. I suppose we can make an exception. Congratulations, young man.”

Jacob, despite bringing up the idea, looks disappointed.

“No.” You pant, then sniff up some snot or milk or both. “Thank you, but I agreed to ten minutes. I can’t go back on that.”

They exchange another look.

“Herb. I’m going to teach you that recipe.”

“No really.” You grab another drink and feel the stink in your eyes. It’s hard to concentrate still. “I don’t want pity.”

“It’s not pity!” His voice booms. “You just showed me that you’re exactly the kind of person I want to continue the tradition of this recipe.”

“I can’t break my word.” You try to keep your tone as respectful as you can. “I can’t break my word.” You repeat and fill your glass with more milk. “But can I try again another time? Or get some of those peppers?

They both exchange another look, then the priest bursts into laughter. “I’ve never seen someone seriously ask for more. Alright Herb. I will teach you, but not today. You can take the test another time and I’ll teach you after you pass that.” He says it like it’s a fact. “In the meantime, we have a few others you might like.”

Jacob looks very impressed with you. He takes you aside. You’re sure to top up your glass first, and make sure Gobble and Dice are doing alright. They look burnt out, but fine. You let Mace out to have some milk as well.

“You’re a man of principles.” He begins. “That’s a rare quality. You can’t buy it or be given it.” You’re not sure how to respond to that. You continue drinking while trying not to look disrespectful. He seems to understand and continues. “Can I ask you something? I know you’ll be honest with me?”

You nod, still drinking.

Jacob leans down to face you eye to eye and hear you answer.

“I like the islands. I won’t want them to change too much” You begin. His eyes shoot open. Not in disapproval, but in a sort of look of surprise and maybe even happiness. “But it’s brought a lot of stuff people seem to like. At the same time though, it’s causing a lot of problems. Invasive pokemon, and upsetting a lot of people. Some of them say that island traditions get forgotten.”

He nods. Waiting to see if there’s anything else you want to add.

“It’s both good and bad. I guess that’s just how life is. Everything changes. No one person can really do anything about it.”

He puts a hand on your shoulder. “Maybe. But don’t underestimate the power of one.” He gets up to leave. You’re left with a bit of a coughing fit from an unexpected extra spicy bit in your throat. By the time you get over it, he’s already leaving and asking his assistant to update him on Valerie and to send her some flowers.

Hana checks in to make sure you’re okay. She’s a sweetheart. She gives you a kiss on the cheek when nobody is looking, despite how sweaty and milky and gross it must be.

“How was it?” Keira asks. You look up to see Laki being led in.

Laki is exhausted, like she ran a million hours in the blazing heat. She weakly waves at you, then leans on you for support. You almost collapse until Hana keeps the both of you upright. “Mrrrng.”

“I’m told you composed a very beautiful poem.” The priest compliments.

“Thanks you, High Prius.” Laki mumbles.

“Now, how about that double battle?” He grins, holding a pokeball.

“Alright!” Laki says, heat-drunk. “Lead the way!”

Hana gives her a sideways look, but doesn’t say anything. You want to take Laki aside and tell her to wait, but you remember before how she said something along the lines of not worrying about being at your best when you take on challenges, and that if things are a bit unfair, that’s just life.

Still. Look at her. And she and Hana haven’t had a chance to heal their pokemon.

>Do your best to heal their pokemon, then wish them luck

“Wait.” You take the girls aside. “I’ll heal your pokemon first.”

They agree. Hana looks relieved. Laki just goes with whatever is being said. First you get Meowth, then Tirtouga. Feeling like you’ve still got a lot in you, you heal up their new Ice pokemon too. Both of them seem worried and confused at first, but healing really helps their moods out. You even feel like he pokemon got a little something extra there.

“Thanks, Herb.” Hana smiles. “Sorry for exhausting you.”

“It’s no problem.” You say, casually placing a hand on Laki’s back. You close your eyes and she gasps. After feeling a pulse of energy leave your body, you open your eyes to see her big smug smile.

“Thanks, Soft Hands.” Laki stretches. “Ah. I feel a million times better. If I win, I’m going to celebrate your brains out.”

“Heh. Umm, what about if you lose?”

“Then I’ll need you to console my brains out.” She smiles. “But we’re not going to lose, right Robocop?”

“Hmmm? Oh, right. Yeah! No way, I mean. That we’re not going to lose.” Hana takes a moment. “We won’t lose.” She clarifies. “Heh. Guess I won’t be a motivational speaker any time soon.” She mumbles quietly to herself with a shy smile.

“Let’s go!” Laki yanks her away. “I’ve got a clean karma and I’m full of energy. We’ll be fine.”

Satisfied, you look around for where to watch. Keira helps you out with that by grabbing your arm and leading you there. A nice little bench of the side.

The gym is a big open metal platform suspended by chains over a pool of water.

“Why water?” The priest yells from his battling area, as if answering the question in your head. “It’s electrified! Your Water and Ground pokemon will need to be careful not to fall in!”

Flaming logs come swinging down from the sides. You’re expecting a massive, epic battle!

“Wow!” Kiera gasps. “They put a lot of effort into it.”

You yawn. “Yeah”

“I don’t understand battles that much.” She admits. “I want to get better. Herb, how would you handle this gym?”

Hoo boy. All that healing took a lot out of you. You try to think. It’s easy to be a backseat trainer when you’re way over here. But you know how different it is when you’re actually commanding. But what would be the best way to handle this?

I'd really like H/H/L to have an open and honest conversation about what their expectations and desires are about their physical relationship. “Double battles are tricky. I’d do it so one pokemon attacks and the other defends, and I’d try to use light or flying pokemon since it looks wobbly. The two you choose should complement each other. It’s all about teamwork.”

Keira nods, absorbing what you’re saying.

“But it’s always hard to know for sure. Whatever the strategy,” you yawn again, “you’ve got to change it up when the other side figures it out.”

“I see, I see.” Keira excitedly watches. You feel like she’s really taking this in. Maybe you’ll see her put it to use in a battle some time. “I like the way you always follow up on these questions, Herb. It makes me feel better knowing you really think about it.”

This chair is so comfy. “Thanks.” You feel your eyelids drop, and sleep takes you.

You wake up, outside, confused and alert. Gobble, who was acting as your pillow, shoots awake as well.

“Hey sleepyhead.” Hana smiles and offers you a plate. There’s barbequed food on it. It smells amazing, but maybe you’re just really hungry. You look around and see that everyone prepared the barbeque and tent without you.

“I...what happened?”

“You fell asleep.” She says, kindly. “It’s okay. We’re not mad. We won!”

“Oh.” You’re still getting your bearings. “Congratulations!”

“Thanks!” She proudly thrusts out her chest with her badge pinned to it.

Laki stands over you. “They said to come back when you’re rested and they’ll teach you a few things and give you as many ‘peppers as you dare take.’” The strong, shapely trainer keeps her hands on her wide hips. “We decided to forgive you, if you do a good job with massages tonight.”

“You don’t have to if you’re tired.” Hana offers.

Oh. She might still be conscious about her body. You sort of worked around that before, but you guess this sort of thing takes time. “Oh. I don’t want pressure you if you’re uncomfortable.”

She fidgets and mumbles quietly. “I don’t mind however you want to touch me...”

“You should go wash up after you eat.” Laki tosses you a towel.

You look up at the sky. There’s still a decent amount of time before sundown.

The food is pretty bland. Actually, not that good at all. But it is filling.

You quickly rush off to wash up so you can get back soon. You feel guilty about missing the battle, but to be fair you did do a lot of what you assume was helpful healing. You spend as little time cleaning as you can get away with without sacrificing doing a good job, then hurry back to the tent.

Laki is wearing nothing but a bottom, and resting on her front. A bottle of lotion is right beside her. Hana is dressed in fluffy pajamas.

You start oiling up your hands.

“Remember Soft Hands, I told you you’re going to have to earn it if you want- Hnnnnnng.” She melts under your massage. You’ve really gotten to know where her knots form and what works best for you. “Ahh haw haw. Awww yeah. That’s the spot.” She moans deeply.

“Oh wow...” Hana watches, breathing hard. “And I’m next?”

After Laki is too relaxed to move, you work on Hana. It’s trickeir because you only really have direct access to a few spots. She seems self-conscious again. You’re guessing it’s because Laki’s here. But Hana summons a little bravery and does end up taking off her shirt under the blanket, then maneuvering so her robotic arm is under a blanket while the rest of her back is exposed for you.

“That’s the stuff.” Laki mumbles. You and Hana look over to see Bella is now walking on her back. She’s trying to help.

“Laki, that’s not me.”

“Hmm?” She turns around with her own sheet over her chest. She has a small laugh and holds Bella. “Maybe you should go back to your pokeball. Things are going to get a little adult in here.”

“What’s that mean?” Keira asks. Everyone jumps.

“CRIPES!” Hana jerks back and knocks you on your butt.

“Keira! You scared the knot right back into me!” Laki complains.

“Sorry...”

“Is Keira going to watch?” Hana asks nobody in particularly. She has a habit of saying things in such a low whisper that it’s almost like she doesn’t want anyone to hear.

“At this point I’m starting not to care.” Laki grumbles.

Well, they seem to be taking this well. You go back to massaging them. They seem to relax again after short order. The tension from Keira’s scare fades, and even the worry Keira was carrying when she saw the look Laki gave her begins to fade.

“That makes everything better.” Laki mumbles happily.

“Yeah.” Hana sighs.

You stretch. Your arms are a little tired.

Laki shakes her bum a little bit. “No rest for you, Soft Hands. You’ve got something else you need to take care of, don’t you?” She’s got that smug smile she gets sometimes, but it’s fighting against her relaxed face. “Come on. Don’t get lazy now. Give it your all.”

“You’re right.” You sit up straight. “I’ve got to train.”

“What.”

“Thanks for reminding me, Laki.” You say as you get up. You gather your pokemon, their balls, and everything else you’ll need.

“Yeah. Laki. Thanks.” Hana says flatly.

You’re a little distracted trying to find the last pokeball. Laki says something about anybody helping her out at this point. You’re sure it’s no big deal, whatever she’s talking about.

Hana slowly moves towards Laki

“I was kidding!” Laki holds her back. “Jeez, Hana!”

Bella imitates her, holding out her petal hand.

Hana shrinks. “Sorry.”

Laki relaxes and sighs. “Nah. I’m sorry. Just...tense.”

Hana pulls the hair behind her ear. “Heh. Yeah. I get it.”

You feel the cool night air on your body as you stretch outside the tent. Truthfully, things were getting a little too intense in there. You’re a little scared. And you’re worried what you’ll do or how honest you’re really being with yourself and the others. But you are actually serious about training too.

And so you focus entirely on that for now.

You’re not sure how long you’ll go tonight. You did sleep during the day, so maybe you go can long. Then again, it’s never a good idea to push too hard.

Bella follows you and the other pokemon outside and looks up at you, confused.

“Do you want to go first?” You ask Bella.

She smiles. She doesn’t know what you’re talking about, but she’s happy to spend any time with you.

“Come on.” You pick her up, find somewhere comfy, and set her on your lap. “We’re going to unlock your hidden potential.”

She hugs you. It’s hard to picture her as a little troublemaker when she’s like this. Right now, she’s your sweet little Bella, innocent and with a smile you’ll always protect. And really, that’s mostly how you see her anyway.

You hold her hand petals and close your eyes. You can sort of sense it when she closes hers, because you feel a little more connected. You concentrate and look deep inside for her potential. And you see...

You look into her aura. Her soul. You see her potential there. She can make the most of of any energy coming her way. She’s like some sort eternal student of life, in that she absorbs everything she comes in contact with. She’s sensitive to her environment, and every little stray bit of it becomes a part of her. And she makes the most out of it.

You open your eyes and see her staring off into space. She looks like she’s come to realize a bit about herself here too. You pat her on the head and she gives a smile before going back to her internal journey.

“How about you, Mace?” You put a hand on him. “You’re always doing a lot of reflecting. Want to see your hidden potential?”

He ponders the question. What is potential? Is there ever such thing as fully fulfilling it? Do our flaws make us weak, or are there even such things as flaws when everything is truly circumstantial?

His pondering actually helps you focus. He seems made for this sort of thing. You inhale deeply and take a look. Mace’s hidden potential is...

Inside Mace, you find wisdom. He’s much, much older than you ever suspected. He’s seen and experienced so much, but with a patience that you can’t imagine. You can almost see whole seasons or more where he simply was, sitting and pondering. But most of that time was simply watching what happens around him. What others do, and the same repeated patterns. He has a deep understanding of how pokemon tend to act on an instinctual level. The subtle tells, the common reactions of the young under the same circumstances, all of it. When you’ve seen something a dozen times, you understand how it tends to go. When you see it ten thousand times, you know every way it can go.

Mace nods as you set him down. You both have a new, wordless understanding of each other

Dice settles himself onto your lap. You’re not sure if he knows it’s his turn or if he’s just doing what he feels like without regard to the situation. He’s a funny one, that Dice. You place one had on his head, but he grabs the other and playfully pulls it around like a chew time. He settles in with it, but doesn’t let you move it away. You guess he still wants to keep you close and in his grasp even if you know he trusts you not to abandon him. That sort of thing doesn’t go away easily. And you don’t mind being needed.

He’s got this great, unusual movement. But that’s not his full hidden potential. You do your best to understand what you feel as you explore his aura. What you find is...

>A mind too alien to be confused
>A sense of smell that makes little able to hide from him

You expect to find a gentle simpleton. A pokemon with few worries or worldly concerns. But that’s not what you get. Underneath that sense of loneliness and happiness with his new family, there’s a protective monster. Now that he has a family that won’t abandon him, he’ll keep them safe. He summon a terrible and righteous fury on anything that threatens them. You’re eyes shoot open as a roar echoes in your head.

But all you see in your lap is a simple little gator. He lazily rolls off and flops onto the ground, then keeps his chin down as his read legs push him away.

“Wait.” You stop him, and give up a big hug from behind. He gently bites one of the arms you have wrapped around him, and you both keep each other tight for a good long while before you let him go.

Last is Gobble. He approaches you with determination. You remember when you first met him. You bribed him with food to help fight off Mankeys. What an unlikely situation. Now you feel like he’s more than a pokemon you’re training, but a best friend. Someone you can share almost anything with. You guess all trainers probably feel that way, but that doesn’t make it any less special to you.

You put a hand on his head, and look deep inside. You find...
>The willpower to keep standing even when his legs should give out, or resist any temptation

Gobble has willpower. You’ve seen it again and again from him, every time he keeps from eating all the food. Beyond that even, when he makes sure everyone is fed before eating for himself. Gobble has control over himself. It’s more than just food, though. He always does his best. He keeps fighting no matter how tired he is. He keeps trying to learn new things even when it’s confusing, and he keeps trying to stay by your side for whatever he can do to be helpful, even when you can tell he’d rather be doing something else. The only thing that will keep Gobble down is hard, physical force. And even then you sometimes suspect his willpower can overcome that even when it’s impossible.

You open your eyes and give Gobble a big hug. Then bring everyone else in too. You really care about them all. You needed this. You think they did too.

Is that...the sunrise? Holy smoked Gouda! How long were you at this?

You crawl back to the tent with your pokemon. Laki and Hana are fast asleep. Keira is meditating.

You crawl between your two girlfriends, and find a blanket of pokemon come to cover you up and keep you warm. For whatever’s left of the morning, you’re going to be safe and comfy.

[That’s it for tonight, everyone. Thanks for coming. Not sure exactly when the next thread is, but hoping to run at least once during the week and get that bin finally done. Hey anons, what's your plan on the lewding front? I say that the next time tent time rolls around, we ask our girlfriends what their expectations and desires for sex are. Then we fulfill those and cash in our 99. Sound good? Or did you want to make Hana edge more?
>>
>>1656040
How would you feel if I, or anyone really, compiled this and/or your last quest into a more, I don't know, "story-like" format and posted it up on a fanfic site?
>>
>>1656053
I had an idea for a great way for everyone to learn more about eachother. It's kinda like truth or dare, but without the dares. Everyone takes turns asking the other two a question about themselves.

Thanks for running Gobble.

Another quality thread and kind of curious: Do you take into account pokemon people discuss in between posts for future reference?
>>
>>1656069
More like whoever picks right the most gets massages at the end.
>>
>>1656073
That's much better, I'll back it
>>
>>1656065
Where can one check that out?

>>1656069
pick wrong and lose a piece of clothing. When you're out of clothes you have to make a pose determined by the person who told the truths and a lie, or, for never-have-I-ever, the person who posed the "never have I".
>>
>>1656076
I've always thought never have I ever was more of a straightforward drinking game.

I've always wanted to play strip-yugioh, and I absolutely understand what that says about me.

Also, your link.

maybe herb needs to tell them this, like say he isn't quite comfortable initiating lewds and would rather have the girl do it or just have them tell him when they want to start,
>>
>>1657050
Or at least get them to tell him whether they're expecting to initiate.

If I were Herb, I would be wondering whether they were expecting to do this in turns or all together.

I think that in a few ways we're due some grade-A premium TALKING.

We're going to need more condoms.

I've had fleeting thoughts about writing the first quest from Robin's perspective. I always felt like she was just as much the protagonist of that quest as Kat, maybe even more so.

(Un)fortunately I finally got a job so I doubt I'd have the time for it.
>>
>>1657763
Heh, I remember a brief mention of that. Something like:

Meanwhile, on Robin Quest...
"Why are we still with this girl?"
"Because she's CUTE and TROUBLED, anon!"
>>
>>1657410

No man is to big for a modern condom. There are also female condoms, if that's what floats your boat.
>>
>>1657289
I'm okay with Herb talking to them, laying it all out. First and foremost, a date is in order. The girls need some attention, they also need to know it's about us being nervous. Not about them.
>>
>>1658175
They say to never go bowling on a date, since one of you will always be up and the other sitting, and there won't be much talking. But in this case it might not be so bad. Other date ideas: go to a museum, go on a picnic, play pool, cuddles and movies, forage for mushrooms, anything else?
>>
>>1658208
Bowling is meh. Canoeing, art classes, dancing, breaking and entering, spelunking. The skies the limit really. You can even just be goofy, go to a different place where nobody knows you and play a role while getting dinner. Ham it up.
>>
>>1658217
I'm not so sure about the dancing. It takes two to tango. Two exactly, not minimum. The islands are a little small fir the last one: most people will recognize Laki, if not Hana. Art classes sounds really good.
>>
>>1658230
I forget, we too young to drink in the pokemon world? My town does painting classes paired with wine and very fun and comical artists.
>>
>>1658230
I feel like a buffet would be a good one. Lots of food to find the best stuff, casual atmosphere, not awkward with 3 people.

A picnic would be Herb working his butt off to supply food for everyone and their Pokemon.
>>
>>1658230
>>1658242
Ooh! I forgot urban hacking! Or escape rooms.
>>
>>1658274
>implying Hana wouldn't stay in the room while awaiting whatever her "captors" have in store for her
>>
>>1658277
Hah, not a bad idea Anon. Save that one for later.
>>
>>1658239
We drank on the boat, and presumably Herb would have had a "I'm too young to drink" prompt if he was, in fact, too young to drink.

>>1658242
A buffet would be Herb criticizing everything in his head the whole time, a picnic let's everyone cook together, which can be fun.

What's urban hacking?

>>1658277
Knowing Hana, she's probably been actually kidnapped at some point in her life.
>>
>>1658288
Urban hacking is exploring old, or current, man made structures. Sometimes legal, sometimes not. Other hackers often leave maps, messages and other neat bits of art and stuff around.
>>
>>1658292
I thought that was urban exploring? I wonder if there are any old castles/forts left behind by old colonists that got driven off... sounds like a good place to find a honedge. And I doubt there'd be much else in the way of old buildings in Loanah. Not a long enough history of modern buildings, or enough space.
>>
>>1658297
It has a lot of different names. Urbex, ue, building hacking, etc. Honedge would be dope.

Wait. Imagine: Snorlax! Gobble wielding an Aegislash.
>>
>>1657543
They're gonna need to sit down and talk with herb..
>>
Gobble, do you have how certain characters are portrayed mapped out in your head from the beginning or do you kind of just roll with the punches?

Ex: was Bella always meant to see Laki as a mother figure and ship her and Herb together?
>>
So, I went back to some of the earlier threads for lulz. Herb was supposed to be good at academic stuff as well. I guess it just hasn't had a chance to come up, but...
>>
>>1659432
We were a good study. Just not too many applications of that kind of book learning so far.
>>
>>1659432
I'd say that a good example of his academic prowess is simply how he's able to remember so much. He doesn't need to ask again and presumably he still knows how to make Baco Bread even though he hasn't had the chance to do so for a few weeks. Takes a strong mind to keep presumably hundreds of recipes and fashion trends in order. speaking of which I want Hana and Laki to eventually find his fashion magazines or hopefully he has more chances to show that side off when we get to some of the bigger towns.
>>
>>1659054
[Like 90% of things are rolling with it, including that]

>>
How goes the Spicebin, Gobble?
>>
>>1656062
UGH.
ff.net doesn't allow things to be posted in the "you" or "second person" formats. I'll have to edit all mention of "you" referring to be "Kat". I'm not sure what to do before she was named, though.

Any ideas?
>>
>>1665862
It doesn't? last i checked it did... of course i last checked 3 years ago so...
>>
>>1665864
Yeah, it made me read the guidelines before it would let me post anything. I'm editing the first 'chapter' now. I'm just changing all "You" to "She/her" until Kat gets a name.

I'm considering just posting it as it was written, but I don't really feel like getting suspended for breaking the guidelines.
>>
>>1665872
The rules there are so lax, do you know how many fics and chapters are uploaded a minute?

The chances of you getting banned are 1/10000, being honest
>>
>>1665879
So I should go for it?

I've already finished editing the first chapter of "you"s. I can just save those changes in case the unedited version gets taken down.
>>
>>1665886
Yeah, even if you by some misfortune get banned, nothing is stopping you from making a new account
>>

On my cell. It's coming kinda. I didn't get much time this week and feel bad about the delays, but it's not forgotten. I guess this will make more sense when you see it.
