The school's rooftop looks amazing today.

You can hear the birds chirping, students going about their daily lives below you, the whistle of the gym teacher as class starts.

It's so peaceful.

,,,Or at least it would be, if it weren't for the four jackasses currently trying to surround you.

"Just walk away, kid. No one has to get today," the leader of the group says, fist hitting the palm of his other hand. You don't believe him for a second.

You sigh audibly. How did you get into this situation again?

>These assholes were bullying a fellow student. You're the only one allowed to do that.

>These assholes were trying to extort you. You're not standing for that shit!

>These assholes owed you money. You're here to collect.
>>
This is both my first Quest and post on this board/4chan in general!

Hopefully this turns out OK!

I'm going to leave this vote up for a minute then we're moving on.

Quick tips.
-Don't ask anon's to vote for a gender.
-Don't ask anon's to vote for a name
-it's your first thread? Only accept write-in if it has a good amount of votes.
-Determine a vote time, but not something too small, something in between twenty to thirty minutes
>>
>>1663479
Another thing:
-Don't take this tips as rules. They are just advices if you thing one of those things will help you use it, if you think it's shit don't use it;

>These assholes were bullying a fellow student. You're the only one allowed to do that.

The whining sound coming from behind you reminds you of the reason you're here.

You look at all four of the dumbasses with impassiveness, "This school is my turf, assholes. No one else's. If you try stepping up on my turf, the only ones that are going to get hurt will be you."

The four of them laugh in unison. The leader speaks again, "Don't make me laugh. It's four against one! You've got no chance!"

You smile raising up your

Now onto some things about this Quest.

1. As you can tell, this will be a Quest where you play as one of those Delinquents normally seen in anime.

2. It will mostly be sandbox style, where the votes will determine how the story goes.

3. I'm planning to wait at least ten to twenty minutes between votes.

4. Thinking of doing this every Thursday, but time may change depending on circumstances.

"You wanna bet, dumbass," you say "bring it on" with your fist.

The leader snarls, then charges at you, "You cocky bastard!" His raised fist is easy to duck under, and you easily punch him straight in the gut. He grunts and falls to the ground.

Two more rush in from the sides, so you duck them both. Then you come up, uppercutting them both high into the air. Blood falls out of their noses.

The last one tries to hit you from behind, so you spin around and backhand him to the floor.

Just like that the fight is over. The four douchebags grovel on the ground holding their respective body parts. You step on the leader's back and say

>Leave this school, and never come back.

>The next time you come here, you'd better bring proper tribute. Or else.

You put more pressure onto the leader's back, hearing him whine in fear when his face starts getting lower to the ground. "Well?" you say putting on a little more pressure.

"OK! We understand! We won't do it again, promise!"

You take your foot off his back, and watch as the four of them scurry off down the stairs. You stand watching the door as it slowly closes.

Certain that they won't be coming back, you turn to look at the kid sitting down behind you. He's staring up at you, fear and relief warring with each other in his eyes.

He gulps, reaches into his pocket and takes out a couple of yen. He holds it out to you, "T-t-this is a-a-all I have. P-please don't hurt me."

With a groan you turn around and walk towards the way the four numb nuts did. Your guessing the kid sat there in shock, as you don't hear any footsteps behind you.

You sigh deeply, hands in your pockets as your feet hit the metal of the stairs. That kid had probably heard the stories about you. The "Legendary Delinquent: >Name". That title has followed you ever since you got kicked out of your previous school.

You think on what some of those rumors say and about how

>They're all true. Exaggerated a few times, maybe. But you won't lie and say that you haven't earned your title.

You take your right hand out of your pocket. In it sits a pack of cigars that you "bought" from a store across the street. There are only three left, causing you to grunt in frustration.

Gonna need to restock soon.

You take one out, pop it in your mouth, then take out your lighter with your other hand. You put the pack away and light up the cigar. You breathe in the pine tasting smoke and let it out.

You have to admit, the rumors aren't that bad. They do let people know exactly what you have done and why they shouldn't mess with you.

However, you've always been a delinquent. You've haven't had a single respect for authority since the day you were born.

But the thing that made you "Legendary" was when you:

>All of the above

Really? It was one very strange chain of events.

One night while you were shadow boxing in your room, you overheard your mother complaining about something. Curious, you decided to ask her what the trouble was. You found out immediately when you heard a some extremely loud voices coming from the empty lot across the street.

Now if there's one person in this world that you love more than anyone else, it's your mother. And you won't allow anyone to disturb her when she's trying to sleep.

So you walked over to the lot, and found a good thirty to thirty five people standing around and hitting broken cars with pipes. You told them to quiet down as your mother was trying to sleep.

They insulted your mother.

You beat them so bad you heard they all had to go to the hospital for a month.

A few days later though, a man in a black pressed suit. He didn't say a word, but pushed two primary schoolers, a boy and a girl, into your hands. He said they would be picked up around three, then left.

Not really knowing what was going on, you decided to just roll with it. You ended up having a lot of fun with the tykes, especially the boy. Said he wanted to be like you when he grew up.

Good luck kid.

At three, a long, black limousine pulled up in front of the empty lot across the street. Figuring that was the kid's pick up, you took them over there. It wasn't only after you met the man that you realized he was a well known Yakuza Boss. He took his kids, thanked you for a job well done, said all was forgiven, and said that he will help you out four times whenever you call.

Then the limo pulled away, and you were left standing in the street. You shrugged and started walking back home, when a semi truck came at you from your blind spot.

Somehow, you survived and were able to hear the driver of the truck cursing at you for putting a dent in his radiator. He started saying he would sue you, so you picked him up and threw him through the wall of a nearby connivence store.

And that was how you became known as the Legendary Delinquent. Looking back, you've been a bit of badass haven't you?

You hear the bell ring and curse. First period's starting, meaning you should be heading to class.

Or should you?

>Yeah, let's head to class. You may not like the teachers or school system, but you still want to pass. Don't want to be a Junior forever.

>Nah, fuck that. Let's skip school and go somewhere else.

>Yeah, let's head to class. You may not like the teachers or school system, but you still want to pass. Don't want to be a Junior forever.

Time to bite the bullet as they say.

You get to the second floor, and walk down the hallway towards your class. With this moment's peace, you decide to think about the school that you're in.

Maeda Academy. Appropriate name for this place. After all, it is the family name of the legendary wild samurai of the Sengoku Jidai period.

Why is it appropriate? Because it's full of kids like you.

Delinquents, outcast, violent kids. Those type of people litter this school. It's not everyone obviously, otherwise this place would be less of a school and more of a prison.

That doesn't change the fact that there are quite a few gangs around school. They've even tried to recruit you a couple of times.

However, tough students breed tough teachers. Every educator has enough power or skill to put down even the best fighters in the school. Such as your First Period teacher: Shimura Kazunori.

"You're late

You grumble to yourself and walk past the teacher to your seat. Many of the students lean away from you as you pass. The ones who don't stare at you all the way to your seat. You sit down, making a mental note to watch your back when you leave.

Kazunori stares at you for a few minutes, before he adjust his glasses. "Alright class, today we shall be discussing a more esoteric type of history: Shinto and the Magical powers that were sometimes associated with it."

You hear part of the class groan at the mention of studying Magic. Do you groan along with them?

You groan along with the students. Your head falls down onto the desk in front of you. You might as well rest your head. You can just get the notes from one of your friends after school anyway.

Class ends much too quickly. You're on your way to Second period when you hear a voice that makes your spine tingle.

"Nakai Youma."

That voice.

You know it. It's them. The only person in this school who can actually keep up with you. The only one who can challenge the Legendary Delinquent and possibly win.

You turn around and see:

You grit your teeth, hands clenching as she approaches. The students in the hallway make way as she gets closer to you.

She stops when you both are standing eye to eye, her's filled to the brim with a controlled rage. The tension in the hallway rises as the two of you stand there.

She breaks the silence, "I heard that you got into a scuffle with four students from Class 2C."

She doesn't show it, but you can tell from the slight twitching in her eyes that you've hit a soft spot. She stays up in your face however, "And what makes you so sure—"

"Because that's what's happening everyday," you counter before she can continue, "Contrary to popular belief, I am not the only one who breaks the rules around here. There are plenty of people besides me who do. But instead of going after them, you're always coming to me as if I did something wrong."

You turn around, not waiting for a response, "How's about you leave me alone and do your fucking job instead?"

You walk brusquely until you turn the corner of the hall.

>>Head to the gym and punch some training dummies. Hard.

Twenty minutes later, you're standing in what can be considered a wooden dummy graveyard. All around you lay splintered and broken dummies, destroyed by your powerful fist.

You're breathing hard, but the rage that once clouded you is gone. Slowly, but surely you calm down hands going back into your pockets.

Haaaahhh. That felt good.

You're not worried about the destroyed dummies, cause the school has entire storage units of them. They have to, to make sure all the clubs are supplied with ready training equipment. The Kendo Club, Boxing Club, and Martial Arts Club just to name a few.

You try to take a drag on your cigar, but notice that it's turned into a tiny nub of embers. You grunt, taking it out and tossing it on the floor. Your foot crushes it beneath your heel.

You're just about to turn and head to Second period, when you hear...something. You glance around the gym when you hear it a second time. You're able to track back to one of the storage rooms on the edge of the gym.

Your eyebrow raises. It can't be another student, can it? The noise sounds out a third time. Curiosity gets the better of you, and you walk over to the room.

You slide the door open, and have to cover your eyes as a bright light shines in your face. It dies down later and what you see is

You look around room, but don't see anyone. You just see that soda, sitting there.

Suddenly, you start to feel very parched. You haven't drunk anything yet, and lunch is a ways away.

You do a quick check of the gym, then call out to see if anyone's there. When no one answers you shrug and grab the drink.

The cap is easy to twist off, and you down it it one swig. It taste...strange. Not the bad kind, just weird. And afterwards it makes you feel like you just went through an entire training session with a bear.

...No idea where that came from.

You shrug again, toss the glass, and turn to go back to class.

>Was that your soda?

You ask, hand going to your the back of your neck. "If so, sorry. I kind of drank it."

The guy just stands there still staring at you. Then he starts to laugh. Well, chuckle is more like it.

Is this guy laughing at you? You grit your teeth and ask, "What's so funny?"

He stops and looks at you with a shit eating grin on his face, "You. Specifically the fact that I thought you would be a threat."

He turns around and starts to walk towards the door, "Thankfully, you won't be. I'll just let this guy kill you and be done with it."

You call after the guy, starting to walk after him, when he snaps his fingers.

The ground shakes. You stumble a bit at the sound and look around the gym. The first thing that you see are the wooden dummies you destroyed standing up. They start to all walk towards the middle of the room, jumping into a big pile.

The pile soon starts to take shape. It grows two legs, two massive arms, and a face that just screams anger. It stands up, head reaching to just below the roof.

It stares down at you and roars. You plant your feet and put your hands in front of your face to keep from being pushed back. Then you stare the golem down, as its right hand winds up for a punch.

Looks like this thing wants a fight.

Well then....

You grit your teeth, crack your neck, and tell the golem to, "Come on!"

What will you do?

You plant your feet. You hold out your right hand, grunting in pain as the golem's fist hits your palm. You're pushed back a bit, but stop it before you're launched too far.

Taking advantage of this, you grab the fist with both of your hands. It's about as wide as you are tall, but that doesn't stop you.

You yell out loud as you lift the monster. You spin on your heel and toss it straight towards where that guy went.

Unfortunately, he disappeared, but the force of the landing is enough to harm the golem as it lands. It starts to stand, getting ready for another attack.

>Rush it now!

No way.

You are not letting this thing get back up.

You dash forward, jumping up when you get close. You raise a fist to punch it's head into the ground, but you telegraph it too much.

The Golem sees you coming, and tries to slap you out of the air. Thankfully, it misses, but messes up your aim.

You end up punching into the wood right where it's left shoulder is. When you pull your fist out, you notice that it went all the way to the other side.

You stare at your hand in awe, until the Golem tries to swatt you again.

NO MAGIC ONLY OVERWHELMING FORCE!!!!
>>
>>1664498
Well, after some time you can't just put more weight into your punches.
You've got to increase their kinetic energy upon impact, thus a faster approach would work better.

>>1664510
So hydrogen fist is literally compressing and igniting air into an explosion?
Then the vacuum fist is a punch which displaces air at such pressure that disintegrates most objects?
And the rapid fist is just an increase in kinetic energy and speed?

These explanations seem to fit.
But the muscle pain will be a bitch, not to talk about the bones and connective tissue.
The skin will be shredded easily.
Will our power enable the toughening of those things I mentioned, with training?
>>
>>1664498

Believe me none of this is magic. The first is your fist hitting the air soo hard it ignites the hydrogen particles creating mini explosions.

The second is the same as above, but turning the air into a weapon.

The third is you just moving fast enough to literally whittle away at the enemy's body until nothing is left.
>>
>>1664527

You explained a lot better than I did.

And yes, you're body will get torn up from this.

But, like with Guts, power through the pain and get stronger.

No PAIN no GAIN after all.

Your musing is interrupted when the Golem suddenly lurches upward. You're standing on the bastards chest, so you get launched into the air when he does. You twist around so you can see the monster.

Might as well give this new move of yours a try.

You put your dukes up, waiting for the Golem to release the energy.

The light gathered within it's palm flies outward, taking the shape of a giant wooden dragon. It flies towards you, teeth bared and ready to swallow you whole.

You pull back your fist, and start punching. It works, for a while. But this wood must be made of thicker stuff or something. You're only able to get half way through the dragon before you run out of energy.

You tire, and slam through the tail end of the beast. This time falling right into the path of the Golem's remaining fist.

>Jump onto the fist and run up to punch it in the face!

You're getting sick of this guy.

You've got a class to get to, and he's in your fucking way!

Does he not know who you are?!

You grunt, grabbing onto the knuckle of the oncoming fist. You use your momentum to flip over, land on the wooden limb, and book it towards the face.

The Golem tries to swing it's stump at you, but that doesn't do more than throw some fucking dust in your face.

You scream bloody murder, running straight up to the Golem's face.

You start to punch.

And punch.

And punch.

And you don't stop until the Golem's body has fallen to the floor and there is nothing left of it's
head but splinters.

Then you punch some more, just to be safe, and because you've always hated the gym floor!

You stand up, breathing heavily.

You did.

You won!

You fucking wo—oh god the pain!

You fall to the ground, wracked by a burning pain in your arms. You groan, but not scream. Men like you never scream in pain. You feel your body start to give out on you, your eyes losing focus.

You feel like going to sleep.

Yeah, sleep seems good right about now.

>Fuck that! Get up! You've still got a class to go to!

Your eyes shoot open, focusing immediately on the exit door. You drag your hands across the ground, then turn them into fist. You use them as leverage to help you stand.

You push yourself back up onto two feet. Then, hands in your pockets, acting as if everything is normal, you start to walk out.

You maybe a delinquent, but you can't afford to repeat a grade or get held back!

Your mother would be so ashamed. That's the one thing you never want.

Let them say what they will about you, you will be remembered as a punctual student damn it!

You feel around in your right pocket for a new cigar, then pull it out when you feel nothing but ash.

...Shit.
>>
>>1665144
Damn that's badass, any status on injuries?
Lacerations, tears in the muscle, broken or torn skin.
That sort of thing.
Also, did we get hit?

We are going to be so sore tomorrow.
>>
You walk into the classroom, just as the teacher is about to begin her lesson.

Your teacher, Eriko Masuda is just about to start yelling at you, when she sees what shape you're in, "Holy Shit, Youma! What happened to you?!"

You look down at your body. Your chest is covered in bleeding scares, your jacked is torn in a lot of places, and your arms have quite literally burned your sleeves off.

You look at Masuda

>Nothing.

>I got in fight. Won. That's about it.

>You shrug.

>>You shrug.

Lacerations in your chest, not that deep though.

The real damage is in your arms. The muscles inside of them have quite literally exploded from the amount of force you just used with the Rapid Fist (will give an option to rename later).

You'll still be able to fight, but any further use of the Rapid Fist will result in more damage. You should be healed up after two days.
>>
>>1665179
Two days?
Do we have an increased healing speed?
'Cause damage from that amount of exertion will make some big inflammation in the body.
In summary, it will hurt like a bitchin' hell.
>>
>>1665162
>You shrug.
>>
>>1665176

The school very lax on the uniform when it comes to Second Years, Third Years, and the teachers. Seconds and Thirds because, do you really think they would follow the dress code? You don't follow the dress code!

As for the teachers, like I said, most know how to fight. Some fight better with less clothes, some fight better with more clothes. As long as you can fight, and keep the students in line, it's OK.

Chie is trying to change this, but it's like being an upstanding person in a sea of assholes. You can bully them and tell them what to do, but once you turn your back they're go right back to doing what they were doing.

Yep.

It will hurt like Hell for those two days. but your body no longer has limits.

In other words, faster healing.
>>
>>1665206
Wow.
I feel like this one is clearly the more powerful choice, compared to others.
>>
>>1665162
>>You shrug.
>Shit happened, I'll be alright.
>>
>You shrug.
Wins. Writing.
>>
>You shrug.

You walk by Masuda, heading over to your desk in her class.

Her mouth turns into a frown as you pass by, "Fine! Be that way! Last time I worry about your health asshole!"

You flip her off before taking your seat. She returns the gesture before resuming class, "As I was saying, all you little bastards better listen up! The annual competition with our Rival School is coming up, so you'd all better be ready for it!"

At the announcement, everyone starts to mutter amongst themselves. You can't blame them. Say what you will about Maeda, but you're a prideful bunch. You'll defend the name of your school until the end.

Masuda punches the chalk board to quiet the room down, "Alright that's enough! Now get out your fucking pencils. We're learning more English today!"

You attempt to comply, but unfortunately the burning pain in your arms causes you to drop the pencil. It doesn't fall off your desk, so you try again. Same result.

Eventually you just give up, and settle for listening to the teacher. You can get notes off of someone later.

Your gaze goes down to your right arm, steam rising from it in waves.

You sigh.

Your life just got a lot more interesting.

END PROLOGUE!

Thanks for playing everybody! Here's where I call it a night!

I'll try to run this thing every Thursday, but things may change as time goes on.

I'll be up until 1:00 AM CST to answer questions.

I hope you all enjoyed this!

And here's the Raw Data:

Anime Delinquent MC:
Name: Nakai Youma
Speciality: Fist (Strength and Speed)
Power: Limitless (No Physical Limits)
Current Special Moves: Rapid Fist (To be Renamed): LVL 1/5

>>1665299
Missed the run, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Be sure to diligently post updates on your Twitter when you run. More than once I've missed quests that were currently running because the OP forgot to post it on Twitter.

Besides that, I think you did really well. Excellent use of pictures and breaking text down into readable chunks(new QMs tend to forget this). Hope you keep continuing.
>>
>>1665299
Nice job man, cool idea for a quest. Its nice to see a quest about manly dudes doing manly things.

Hopefully I can actually participate next time.

Any question? The future of the Quest? Powers? Possible enemies/allies?

Also, I'm gonna need more Guts images.

...Alot more.

Good thing I've got Google.

I wonder if we can overclock our senses and slow down our perception of time.
>>
>>1665349
Are you thinking of including waifus or is this going to be more about punching things with your fist?

I don't personally care but waifus tend to draw more people, but they also draw more people.
>>
>>1665349
Will we be the only non magic user in this quest? It would be funny if we are.
>>
>>1665364
Possibly, though it will be more like the Flash than Dio.

>>1665365
Gonna be completely honest, I suck at writing romance. Like guy who made the Slayers Manga/Anime level terrible.

There will be female characters, that's a given. However, it will never be an imperative to "waifu" one of them.

Basically, if the votes swing towards fist, we focus on fist. If they swing towards waifu, we focus on waifu. If they swing towards hanging out with bros, we focus on fucking bros!

A few tips for a blossoming young GM like yourself.
> Make an endgame.
This is useful because it keeps everything focused, stops you losing interest to soon, and keeps the quest accessable.
> Write a summary at the end of each thread
To catch new players up.
>Watch/Read Beelzebub.
You didn't mention that during your companion analogues.

Remember that the best villains have the perfect counter to our abilities, the more we hate the bad guys the better it feels to punch them in the face, and that a comedic sidekick is a must for any delinquent based story.
>>
>>1665349

Did you read Sakigake!! Otokojuku? I not then I recommed reading it because of manliness, bizarre martial arts and weird weapons.
>>
>>1669209
mix of both, with a hint of Kamina in the mix
