You are General Nathan Oman, awakened from thirty years of cyrosleep. You are the last surviving member of the Timmerman Administration, the greatest, strongest government the United States has ever voted into office. You and the rest of the military leadership, under the guidance of President Timmerman, led the country through trying times. Times it would not have survived without you.
And how did the people pay you back? After the dust settled and the crisis passed? By handing President Timmerman and the military command over to an international court. They were all sentenced for crimes against humanity. They were all hanged.
Except, that is, for you and several other generals. You went into hiding. You all swore that in thirty years times you would return and exact vengeance on the world for the death of your nation.

>Last Time, on My Father's Country >>1661977
You awoke and found yourself to be the only US general to survive the cyro process.
You discovered the Lazurus Project inside your secret base, and have cloned your friend from the CIA, Jake Malone, twice.
You've made contact with patriot militias in Virginia and Carolina , giving you around eighty soldiers.
You've raided two ex-pentagon bases, seizing a drone fleet and a cybernetic warefare program
You raided a nearby town in Appalachia, getting more synthetic organics for your 3D printer.
You've drawn the attention of the Virginia, Carolina, Interpol and Chinese authorities. They know something's up, but have they truly grasped what your ambitions are?

You walk around the officer's quarters, rubbing your chin. The Liberty Legion captains; Bobbi, Greg and Kieth, watch you. The Jakes do as well, but they are well-used to your pacing.
"Jake," You say, turning to Jake1. "That scientist, Dr. Manning. The one they're going to extradite to the Hague. Do we know him? From the glory days?"
Jake squints hard at the newscast being displayed by the holographic projector. "Don't think so Nathan. He's old though. Would have been in his prime around the same time we were,"
You nod. If Manning is being executed, he was likely a part of the Timmermen Administration. And if he's as smart as they say he is, you want him.
"Jake," You say, turning to Jake 2. "I want you to print off a team for other Jake here. Something special forces. I want Dr. Manning sprung. Also, print off anyone else you might think is helpful. How much organics would you say we have?"
"Enough for," Jake2 does some quick mental math. "I dunno, 25 people? So if we're doing strictly special forces, we could do five teams of five,"
"Good enough, but make it four teams of special forces, I want five of them to be CIA. Infiltrators."
"Eh," Jake2 says, giving a shrug. "You don't want "infilitrators". The term means they'll be arab-looking, and speak Arabic. But we're not operating in the Middle East right now."
"Fine," You say, dismissing him with a wave of your hand. "Get me five CIA operative who can operate in the US border, oh and make one of them you," Jake2 nods and leaves the room. "Wait," You call after him. You toss him the cybernetics core. "See what you can do with that. Use those technicians from the Liberity Militia."
You turn to Jake1. You need to think about how to run this prison break. How many special forces teams will you send with him? Liberty Militia? Will you strike while he's in prison, or in transit?

Your thoughts are interrupted by two men dragging in Terry, the deserter. Upon seeing you and the others, his face scrunches up in terror.
"P-please," He says. You whip out your Beretta and cock it.
"I'll make this quick," You say. "Are you in, or are you out?"
"P-please," Terry says, "I have a family,"
"And if you ever want them to live in the glorious nation that is these United Sates," You point the pistol at him. "You'll make sure you do your part for the cause. As either a martyr, or an example."
"I'll serve the militia! I'll serve!"
You nod, holstering the beretta. "Get him cleaning toilets," You say.

A few hours later, and after one very, very hearty meal in the mess hall, you find yourself standing at the corridor entrance to the base with Jake1 and ten other men. They're all hardened soldiers, you can tell from their demeanor. Freshly printed too, going from the smell of cooling skin. They're all armed to the teeth with assualt rifles, armor and optics tech.
"Men," You say, finishing up your evaluation of them. "I'm sure Jake has made your current predicament, as well as your mission, clear. Am I correct?"
The men nod. "We're dead men walking," One says. "Rescuing another dead man walking,"
"Cept," Another says. "Sounds like this doctor deserves it,"
"And children in africa should all have shoes," You bark. "Listen closely. In our quest to bring back these United States and exact vengeance on our enemies, we will all do things we are not proud of. People who should not die will die, and people who should not live will live. As Delta force, I would have assumed you understood this,"
"We understand it sir," One of them says. "We're just adjusting to not being dead. Kind of a, oh I don't know, unusual happenstance."
You ignore the soldier's sarcasm. You always hated operators attitudes. Something about facing death and horrifying situations on a frequent basis made them unreasonably cocky.
"You are to be quick," You say. "Mr. Malone here is team leader," You motion at Jake. He waves back with his heckler and koch automatic shotgun. "You are to drive to Massachusetts, assault the prison, and get to the LZ point for extraction. You will not be caught, or fail. Am I understood?"
"Sir yes sir!"
You wave them off, and they stream out of the base. You walk back down the corridor and retreat to the officer's command room. You take a seat, pouring yourself a whiskey and raising it up to the massive American Flag hanging on the wall.
"They'll all pay," You murmur, then knock back your drink.
"Sir!" You turn, spotting Bobbi.
"Yes?" You say.
"The motion sensors picked up a small team headed up the mountain towards the base. We don't know where they came from, but our cameras can make out gear!"

>Send out soldiers to investigate

"Bobbi," You say. "This next order may be confusing, but it's very important you do as I say."
"Sir?"
"I need four of your men, men you think could....act a part out for me."
"What do you mean sir," Bobbi says, scratching his neck.
"Your men are from Creedshaw, just down the mountain. So it's conceivable any number of you could be out hunting. I need four of your men to go undercover as hunters. They must. Be. Believable."
"Ha ha," Bobbi says, grinning. "We ain't gotta go undercover for that, we'll just act like ourselves,"
"Yes, okay," You say. "Confront the people approaching, gauge them. Do not reveal our location or intents. Do you have men who could handle this?"
"Krouger Brothers," Bobbi says.
"Get these brothers ready and send them down the mountain. Also, have them wear one of these," You hold out moose lodge pin. "There's a camera inside, I'll be watching from the command room."
"Got it sir," Bobbi says, throwing a salute.

A few moments later you're sitting in the command room with Bobbi and Greg. The three of you are watching the holographic display, which is streaming the Krouger's Brothers progress down the mountain in first person view. You can also pick up their audio.
"Shit it's nice out," One of the brothers says.
"Hmm," Says another. "Woulda been a real good day to go hunting for real,"
"Shh," Says the third. "Act the part, we are hunting you lumber-ass fucks,"
"Quiet," Says the fourth, his voice low. "I sees em. Follow my lead." The fourth brother waves his hand. "Well howdy there folks! Heyy! Up here!"
Through the camera pin, you finally get a good look at the approaching people. You zoom in, and smile. Though they're dressed in nondiscript hiking gear, you can tell; they're operatives. Four men, two women. They're staring intently at the Krouger Brothers.
"Engage them in friendly small talk," You say through the mic. "Get them talking,"
"So!" The fourth brother says. "What brings you folks up this way? We don't get many hikers round these parts,"
The lead interloper, a tall dark-skinned man with an intense gaze and a voice that shook the ground with it's low baritone.
"Hello gentlemen," He says, giving a small, neutral smile. "Out hunting?"
"S'right," The fourth brother says. "Perfect day for it if you ask me,"
"Locals then?" the man says.
"Yessir,"
"Perhaps you can help me then," The man says. "Me and my friends here were just in Creedshaw looking to buy camping supplies. Small town, I'm sure you're familiar?"
"Yessir," The second brother says. "That's our town, you probably spotted one or two of our kin while you was there,"
"Excellent," The man says, his smile growing. "Then you can help me. I've noticed that a good portion of your town's men have disappeared. Any idea where they might be off too?"
The brothers are silent for a moment. The fourth brother shifts. "Recken they're out hunting too, mister deep voice,"
>>
>>1673819

"Ha, deep voice," The man says. "Yes, that's funny. So then, all of Creedshaws men are out hunting today?"
"Reckon so," The fourth brother says.
"Well then," the lead interloper says. "I suppose me and my friends will have to be extra careful then. Wouldn't want to be mistaken for a deer now would we?"
"Then I guess you should thank your lucky fucking stars it's turkey season mister," The third brother says. "Aint none in Creedshaw an amateur. You're safe as can be on this mountain."
"Excellent," The man says, continuing to smile. "Good to hear. Well then, gentlemen, if you don't mind, me and my friends have gods natural wonders to explore,"
The team continues hiking up the mountain, past the Krouger brothers. The brothers watch them go, you watching along with them in the command room. You lean back in your chair.

>Recall the Krouger brothers, hide in the base
>Send out soldiers, kill or capture the team
>Have the Krouger brothers attempt to subdue the team
>>

>Let the brothers move on out Hunting and slowly rotate out the personal before they close towards the entrance and get a spec op's team out there as well on the off chance we need to go loud.
>Run there voices through a Voice analyzer and there faces to see which 'agency' is currently operating here.

I'd love to kill them, but it'll bring more heat down sadly. If we capture them, No way we know if they remain loyal so let's see if we can't just have them scope out, see nothing is wrong and then fuck off. Capture/kill is a last resort.
>>
>>1673851

"Jake," You say, radioing Jake2.
"This is actually the new Jake," His voice replies, "the other one is busy with the data core."
"Get a spec ops team out into the surrounding woods immediately." You say. "I want them to have a line of sight to the entrance of the base, but I want them hidden. Understood?"
"Got it Nathan, sending them out,"
"One more thing," You say. "I'm sending you face profiles and audio logs, put them through the system and find me matches."
"Sounds good," Jake3 says.
You turn back towards the holographic display. "Krouger brothers," You say.
"Sir?" the fourth brother murmurs into his pin.
"Keep up the hunting, keep the interlopers in sight."
"Got it sir,"
You open up every camera built into your mountain base and train them on the team approaching. You notice a feature for listening equipment and turn it on. The voices of the team, low but clear, pump out of the speakers.

"So," one of the team members says. "That was definitely a Liberty militiaman right?"
"Had to be," Another teammember says. "Which means our intel is right. There are terrorists striking out from somewhere in these mountains,"
"The base is coming up," The lead team member says, his deep voice rattling your speakers. "If it's not abandoned there could be as many as thirty targets inside. Stay sharp. Jess and Taran, fan left and take up position. Sam and Elory, fan right. Meg, you're with me. We don't want to announce our presence, just confirm the base is occupied or unoccupied.

"Nathan," It's Jake's voice.
"Go ahead," You say.
"Facial scans and voice scans are negative, but this is a thirty year old pentagon system and these people likely wouldn't be in it. But may I make a professional guess?"
"Go ahead," You says.
"The big black guy with the deep voice? German. I'm guessing this is an interpool team, and that Asian girl is probably on loan from the Chinese."
"Thank you Jake, is the Spec Op team outside?"
"Ready and waiting sir,"

The Krouger brothers start taking potshots at trees. The team freezes upon hearing the hunting rifles. After a nod from the german man, they continue onward. They pause again after only a few steps.
The Krouger brothers are still firing...
The team looks around at each other. You lean in on your seat, straining to make out the audio over the Krouger's hunting rifles.
"Freeze!" Yells a voice.
"Freeze!" Yells another.
Your spec ops team bursts out from the trees, quickly surrounding the team.
"Move and die!" The Spec Op captain yells.

"Nelson," The woman says, her voice barely audible. "These don't look like militiamen to me,"
"No," The german man says. "No they do not, Jess"

The Spec Ops throws the team on their stomachs, quickly binding their wrists with plastic cuffs. The Krouger brothers approach, and the second brother give the bound teammembers a wave.
"Sorry bout that folks! These fine gentlmen here aren't from Creedshaw," He says, motioning at the Spec Ops team. "So they musta thought you was a deer!"
The Krouger brotheres laugh.
"Enough," The Spec Ops leader says. "Help us bring them."

Ten minutes later the team is bound in chairs, each in a separate room. As you watch them through the security feeds, you ponder several options.

You could interrogate them, Jake was always good at that. But which one? The german man was obviously the leader, but he may be a hard nut to crack.
Or you could simply off them and do your best to hide the bodies.

Anon I have a plan what do you think of it?

We implant with the things, to scan their brains to make clones, off the real ones.

Then one of our tech guys changes the memories a bit, so nothing on this mountain/ or make them loyal to us. Then send them on their way, the clones will report nothing on the mountain, or they can be used for our grain.

Don't know if we have the skills for it tho.
>>
>>1674500
Uh, Do we even have that ability right now?

>>1674382
>>1674470

You open the door to the room, coming inside and shutting it behind you. A single lamp illuminates the room. Underneath sits the german man, tied to a chair. You pull up a chair yourself, sitting across from him.
"Hello," You say, getting comfortable. "I believe your teamates called you, Nelsen?"
"So you were listening," The german man says. He gives a deep chuckle.
"Hm, yes," You say. "You'll have to forgive the restraints, one of my men pegged you as Interpol, and we can't be taking any chances,"
"Who's "we"?" Nelsen says. "Wait, let me guess. Timmerman sympathizers, you guys are Unionists."
"Sympathizers?" You say. "Unionists?" You laugh. "Are these groups so common in your line of work?"
"Oh sure," Nelsen says, smiling. "I don't mean to generalize, but if there's trouble in north america, is generally a unionist militia. Though," Nelsen looks around the room. "You're not just a militia, are you?"
"No, no," You say shaking your head and standing. "I'm afraid not. I don't know about "sympathizers" and "unionists", but I served under Timmerman back in the 20's. I was there for all the so called "atrocities", the abhorrent acts you Europeans found so distasteful. You are of course, fools who understood nothing. So no, I am no mountain militia man. I am General Nathan Oman," You bring your face close to Nelsen's. "And I am the real deal," You straighten back up, and walk around the room in a slow, thoughtful way.
"General Oman," Nelsen says slowly. "I know you,"
"Do you?" You say, raising an eyebrow. "I was not so prominent in the pentagon. Merely a general."
Nelsen spits. "My mother was caught up in your so-called "Angola Intervention". While you were busy securing oilfields, she died in the capital under a rain of white phosphorous."
"That is a blatant lie," You say. "But that was a troubling conflict." You sigh, and head to the door. "I think I've learned enough. I am sorry your mother was a causality of war in an already-tragic conflict. I am not proud of those years, but they were necessary. America first. Always."
"Your country no longer exists," Nelsen says, smiling. "Everything you worked for, all the crimes you committed. You still lost the war against your own people. America is over. The dream is over. You're a relic from a bygone age "General" Oman,"
You open the door, pausing at the entryway. "Hm yes, we will see about that, won't we?"
You leave and shut the door behind you. Jake 2 and 3 are waiting in the hall.
"What did you find out," You say, walking down the hall. They fall into step behind you.
"Eh," Jake 2 says, shrugging. "We caught the attention of foreign powers, plain and simple,"
"We were bold," Jake3 says. "And we have some good weapons now, but this location will eventually be compromised."
"We need to move locations then," You say. "Regroup and plan our next move."
You stop at the door to the officer's room. "Find me bases in the pentagon system. Report back soon."

You rub your chin. This is a good base. And moving would set you back. You were always an advocate of the Pentagon black projects. Science was indeed an asset to any military. What if....you used these interpol agents to infiltrate their own organizations? Dr. Manning would be able to do this, if anyone. You could decide to wait for Jake1 to return with the doctor and ask him to preform the procedure, if that's the route you want to go

"Jakes," You radio, walking down the hall. "Change of plan," The more you think about it, the more you like it. Even thirty years later the pentagon's greatest projects were decades ahead of most of the world.
"One of you continue to grill the team. The other, prep the lazereth project for Dr. Manning's return,"
"Uh look Nathan, I've been meaning to mention this," Jake2 says. "But we're not really tech people."
"Shut it Jake," You say. "I know you're more then capable. It's boring work but you're still the only man, men, I trust."
You reach the officer room and sit. "Jake," You radio Jake1, booting up the holographic display. "Jake, report,"
"This is Jake,"
"Status," You say, leaning over the console to stare at the holo display.
"We're going to reach Mass in a day. As far as I can tell it's going to be pretty smooth, but pretty noisy. There's really no way around that,"
"That's fine, they won't connect the dots at first. In and out Jake, 1 day. I'm giving you Greg's radio channel. Call him and the Osprey in for extraction when you're clear,"
"Got it Nathan, over and out,"

Sounds like the rest of the world is making it sound like the United States did the holocaust on steroids. Sounds fishy to me. Allies only held West Germany for 4 years until West Germany came to exist. And the Russians, you know cold war deal with America, so Germany didn't come together until 1990 the fall of USSR. So we'll get punished way worst than the Germany.

Most Germans didn't know about the gassing and /pol/ stuff here. So maybe we'll being blame for things we didn't do.

"Dr. Manning, I Presume,"

Lights cast long shadows along the corridors of the maximum security prison. Dr. Manning sits on the bed of his cell, staring at the far wall. It is clear his mind is elsewhere.
"Hey, Frankenstein," A guard says, tapping on the bars. Dr. Manning turns to him, the dull expression still enveloping his features. "I know this might be a little much to process right now," The guard says. "But you're about to be shipped overseas and tried for crimes against humanity." The guard makes the noose motion with his hand and pretends to choke himself, before breaking into laughter. He starts to walk away.
"Guard," Dr. Manning says, softly.
The guard pauses, turning. "You speak, Frankenstein? That's a first," The guard approaches the bars. "Got something to say?"
"Did you feel that a moment ago?" Dr. Manning says.
"Huh?"
"It was a slight rumble, ever so slight. I only noticed because the water in my toilet bowl rippled."
"The hell you going on about?" The guard says, placing his baton to the bars.
"I can think of several theories as to the cause," Dr. Manning says. He stands up, then gets on his knees. He then rolls under the bed. "But I believe I've narrowed it down to just one now,"
The guard bangs on the bars with his baton. "Get out from there you little toad!"
A moment later the walls buckle. Debris flies, tearing stone and steel alike. The dust settles. Shapes move through the dust. Dr. Manning crawls out from under the bed and stands, brushing at his prison uniform. Jake1 appears in full tactical gear and optics googles.
"Dr. Manning?" Jake says. The doctor nods. "Come with us, the General would like to see you,"
The shapes disappear back into the dust. Dr. Manning takes a moment to look at the guard, impaled and dying on the end of a prison bar. Dr. Manning makes eye contact with the guard, gives him a nod, and follows Jake through the hole in the wall.

Dr. Manning stands before you. You are unsure as to where you have seen him, but you're getting the feeling he was part of a pentagon black project. You were close with the science crowd, so you're confident you'll remember eventually.
"Dr. Manning," You say, extending your hand. "Pleasure to meet you,"
"Likewise, I'm sure," Dr. Manning says. His shake is feeble, a testament to his age. "Am I to presume you are the General who wishes to speak with me?"
"More like employ you," You say. "Your talents were being considerably wasted on the way to the gallows, so I decided it would be better if you came here,"
"Here being," Dr. Manning says, looking around.
"A secret US army base," You say.
"How quaint," Dr. Manning says. "Just like the old days. What exactly are you having me work on?"
"Are you familiar with the Lazurus project?" You say. You beckon Dr. Manning forward, and the two of you start walking.
"I am," Dr. Manning says.
"I have six rather troublesome interpool agents I wish to replicate, but alas the finer points of the process elude me. Perhaps you could be of service?"
"Why General," Dr. Manning says, smiling. "It would be the least I could do,"

Since you say each state is it's own nation, than here a map to help you on your quest.

I'll be using the defcon system for the colors.
Virginia I would say a level 2 and Carolina a 3. The rest are blue for 5. (not Colored)
I place our base a hot pink color (Not in right place) It's just a general area of where our base could be, since we're in the mountains.

Anon that is perfect, thank you.

"Gentlemen," You say. "Thank you for coming."
You are in the officer's command room. The American flag hangs behind you, illuminated by two powerful ceiling lights. The holographic displays hums, projecting a map of the independent states.
Present are the three Jakes, Dr. Manning, Bobbi, Greg and Keith. It has been a week since you captured the Interpol agents. five days ago you sent back tweaked replications of them, and still have the originals locked up. Dr. Manning has also made great strides in the Networked Systems weapon program. The AI core is ready to be tested on a target.
"Jakes, if you could give us your findings," You say. You pour yourself a glass of whiskey, and pass it to Bobbi, who does the same. The whiskey bottle is passed among your command staff, a fast-forming tradition.
"We found three suitable bases with which to expand, and/or retreat to if discovered."
The group nods. Just yesterday a patrol of Virginia helicopters swept the mountain. Three days ago VBI agents were crawling all over Creedshaw, and half the Liberty Legion had to be sent home to keep up appearances.
"The first base found was in Colorado, near Colorado Springs. It's well buried in the mountains, and was originally a test lab for fighter jets. Colorado, as you all know, is one of the most powerful new countries, and it would be a hard place to infiltrate. On the other hand, the terrain levels the playing field in our favor, and if we successfully gain the base, they'd have a hard time rooting us out. The second base is along the Arizona-Nevada border, deep in the desert. We're not sure what they were doing there, but it's pretty secret. Arizona and Nevada are practically uninhabited at this point, so it we'd only have to worry about sweeps performed by neighboring state authorities like Texas and Colorado."
Jake2 takes over. "The last base is in Arkansas, in the Ozarks. It was a missile base, and a bunker. We're pretty sure they're may be a nuke still there, but Arkansas is almost wholly occupied by the Coalition Transitional Authority,"
"The what," You say.
"The CTA," Jake2 says, shrugging. "Some sort of interim government that took over right after the schism. By it's name you can assume it was supposed to be temporary, but three decades later they're still around. The area's unstable, so a proper government hasn't been able to take root yet."

"Getting into Gods Garden Base in Colorado Springs will be simple, as will the desert base, what we're calling Area 52" Jake says. "They're both old pentagon-era systems, so General you should have no problem getting in. The issues will arise from penetrating both Colorado and the desert. Colorado has one of the most powerful Air Forces in North America, as well as a sizeable ground force. The tend to rely on their natural and man-made fortifications, but all it would take is one slip-up and their F35's and F40's will turn us to ribbons."
"The desert is flyover country," Jake2 says. "Area 52 would be pretty easy to reach, but between satellite surveillance and jet patrols we'd have a hard time operating in secrecy forever,"
"Unless we devised some sort of tunnel system," Jake1 says, shrugging. "And now we'll give the floor to Dr. Manning."
Dr. Manning get's to his feet, albeit with some difficulty from his age. He clears his throat. "The AI core is ready, I'm fully confident we can use it to cripple any integrated system. I'm thinking powergrids, powerplants, government agencies. I'm thinking our first target should be France, and that uppity dynasty of technocrats. Maybe a powergrid in Paris or some such."
"Or attack a grid outside Shanghai," Jake2 says. "The city is already struggling against rising sea waters, a power outtage wouldn't be that unusual and would be the perfect opportunity to test the weapon."
"Well shit," Bobbi says, cocking his army cap back. "Why not just unleash holy hell on the Virginia Authorities? Really bring this state to it's knees?"
>>
>>1675185
>Test it on Shanghai first, if that works well. Hit the entireity of France after all. when they are suffering from that, we can then nail Colorado and the satellite grid. This will give us a chance to secure/move into both bases while they panic to get things online.

>Jake 1 and 2, You're both best at this, Plan what else we need to hit to throw them off there feet and not realize we're there.

But I also want the Manning to get to work scanning the Interpol captives, and send clones back detailing their is no base up in the mountains. Manning should be able to make the clones loyal to the death for us, and change their memories for us so they don't know we have a base here.

"Dr. Manning," You say. "Target Shanghai. Full power for this test, I don't want them to have the juice left to charge a lightbulb,"
"Of course General," Dr. Manning says. He walks over to the holographic display console, bringing up a real-time view of Shanghai. It is nighttime, and the city is aglow with thousands of powerful neon colors. You, the Jakes and the captains stand behind Dr. Manning, watching.
"Captain Bobbi," You say, the both of you watching as Dr. Manning gets the weapon ready. "I have questions for you, while we wait,"
"Sir?"
"I've been getting the feeling there is a strong contingency among the states of people who do not like how things are going,"
"I'd say that's correct sir," Bobbi says. "Quite a few folks mighty unhappy with the ways things are going,"
"And in this immediate area, who would you say holds the most power?"
"Oh that would be them bastards what run the CTA over in Arkansas and, nourthern Louisiana and west Mississippi. Then there's Pennsylvania and New York, they both have armies that could steamroll the neighbors if they wanted to,"
"And everybody else?"
"Eh, they can hold their own," Bobbi says. "Every state got at least a couple military bases."
"The weapon is ready!" Dr. Manning announces.
"Thank you Bobbi," You say, nodding. "Dr. Manning," You say, raising your voice. "Proceed,"
The doctor presses some buttons, then waves his hand across the holographic image of Shanghai. The lights dim in the base, then power back up. Shanghai goes dark.
It happens so fast for a moment you think the power in your own base goes out. But the lights in the command room are still on, illuminating the flag. The city's power has truly been overpowered.
"Bravo Dr. Manning!" Jake1 says, clapping loudly. You allow yourself a small smile.
"Yes Dr. Manning," You say. "Bravo indeed. Charge it back up, I'll let you have a go at France if you like,"
"It would be my pleasure," Dr. Manning says, grinning from ear to ear.
"Sir! SIR!" A soldier says, bursting into the command room. "That Interpol team! That german man Nelsen and the girl Jess! They escaped! Their somewhere in the base now!"
"Goddammit!" You say, tightening your fist.

"Sir yes sir!"
A delta team appears in the doorway. "Sir, if we could escort you to the cyro room, it's the most secure part of the base,"
You nod, following them out of the officer's quarters. You pass the mess hall, hearing the sound of the Big Dogs powering up in the Armory.
"Alright boys," You hear Jakes voice. "Find the intruders and shoot the shit out of them!"
You enter into the armory just as the Big Dogs are charging out the other side into the inner hallway. You follow. You hear an explosion of gunfire, and you and the delta team duck down. You quickly draw your beretta.
"Damn it all," You mutter. "Those blasted agents got their hands on some weapons,"
The shooting dies down, and the Delta team escorts you into the hallway. Lining the hallway are one of the Big Dogs and four of the interpol agents.
"Hmprph," You say. "So they sprung the rest of their team," You glance over the bodies. "That Nelsen man and the girl are still missing," Your eyes catch a blood trail leading up the stairs towards the hanger.

"Hello, hello, is this thing on?"
You recognize the voice pumping through the intercom system. That deep voice could only belong to one man, Nelsen. You raise your wrist, activating your watch and plugging into the intercom.
"Hello Mr. Nelsen," You say. "It's good to hear from you,"
"Yes General Oman," Nelsen replies. "And you as well,"
"I was hoping you might come out now," You say. "You've had your fun, and I can assure you no harm will come to you and the girl. A tragedy about your teammates. It's the Big Dogs, they were prototypes in my time, and I'm afraid the decades have not improved that. Perhaps you might give me your location before the mechanical brutes find you and it's too late,"
"I've got a counter offer," Nelsen says. "You left a healthy amount of hellfire missiles attached to a large fleet of stealth drones. I'm not much of a demo man myself, but I've managed to rig one to go off. And once one goes off...."
You tighten your fist, then relax it. "My friend, just what exactly are you hoping to accomplish?"
"Open the bay doors Oman," Nelsen says. "Or I blow this base sky high,"
You patch into the Jakes. "Jakes!" You say on the secret channel. "They're in the hanger!"
"So are we," one of the Jake's answers. "But there's twenty rows of drones in here, it's like playing hide and seek,"

"Oh I'm not trying to shoot my way through the doors." Nelsen says. "I'd rather you open them, but if you won't, I'll just blow this missile and take the whole base with me,"
"A bit dramatic don't you think," You say.
"Says the terrorists trying to restore an evil empire,"
"That my friend," You say, zeroing in the cameras on the hanger. "Is blatant slander and hyperbole." You switch channels. "Keith, do we have any patrols outside,"
"Yessir, two four-man patrols,"
"Get them outside the hanger," You say. You switch channels again. "Dr. Manning, should we want to, could we attack the integrated systems of the drone fleet,"
"Hmm," Dr. Manning says. "Yes, I do believe we could. They'd be out of commission for a bit, and there might be some causalities, but it could work."
"Last time I'm going to say it General Oman," Nelsen's voice says. "Open the doors, or I bring down this whole mountain,"

"Well I must congratulate you Nelsen," You say, sitting down in a chair while holding your wrist watch near your face. "You not only managed to break out of locked rooms and spring your team, but you actually forced me to use my best weapon on my own air fleet,"
"Don't fuck with me Oman," Nelsen says.
"But I'm afraid this is as far as you get. Long live these United Sates,"
Dr. Manning activates the weapon, and the drone fleet seems to sag. Sparks fly up, congealing in the air and dissipating in a flashy explosion. Jake1 and Jake2 take cover behind a drone. Jake1 peers out and spots Nelsen and Jess.
"Haha!" Jake1 says, whipping out from behind the drone and opening fire. "You're fucked now you chocolate kraut!"
Nelsen ducks behind another drone. Jess slides across the floors towards the the same drone. She opens fire with a stolen M21, catching Jake2 in the forehead and sending him reeling.
"You killed me!" Jake1 roars. He rolls forward, coming up and emptying the clip of his automatic shotgun. Drone shrapnel flies everywhere. Nelsen and Jess twirl out from behind the drone, guns drawn. Jake1, Nelsen and Jess face off. A moment later everyone is surrounded by spec ops, guns pointed at the escapees.
"Orders sir?" The spec ops captain says to you over the radio.

A spec ops member hits Nelsen in the back of the head. Nelsen's gun discharges, nearly hitting Jake1. The other spec ops soldiers disarm Jess.
"Careful you shits!" Jake says. "You almost had me shot!" Jake glares at the spec ops, then shoots Nelsen in the stomach. Nelsen gasped, buckles over and grits his teeth.
"Ahh yeah, hurts like a bitch don't it," Jake1 says. "That's the thing about this business, after you got shot the first time everything changes. You'll remember this pain,"
"G-general Omann said," Nelsen says, trying to speak through gritted teeth. "He has no quarrel with her," Nelsen motions at Jess with his eyes. The Spec Ops teams have her on the ground, guns pointed at the back of her head.
"Ah yeah, see," Jake draws in his breath. "That's a bad thing. See, the only reason you're alive is you and the General have this kind of thing going right now, you know? Like a rivalry, Master and Commander style?"
"W-what," Nelsen says, gripping his stomach.
"When the general said he has no quarrel with her, what he meant was, there's no reason to keep her alive."
"No," Nelsen says.
"Yeah," Jake1 says. He discharges his pistol into the back of Jess's head.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!!" Nelsen roars. Jake motions with his head to one of the spec ops, and they knock Nelsen unconscious with the butt of their rifle.

You stand up from your chair, satisfied, at least a little. You call a command meeting. It is time to seriously consider expanding, possibly moving, to a new base. The datacore at the very least needs to be secured somewhere else. And it wouldn't hurt to place the fleet in different locations.

Meta Post Side Post
"What Lies in the Silo"

A single car rolls west on a Tennessee backroad. In it are two spec ops, one driving and the other in the passenger. In the rear sits Dr. Manning and Jake1. A few miles ahead is another car, carrying four more spec ops. The cars keep their distance, so as to not draw attention. The interstates all have checkpoints now.
"So, Doctor," Jake says, idly playing with a knife in his hand. "If I may be so bold,"
"Yes, speak your mind," Dr. Manning says, sniffing.
"What were they going to execute you for?"
"Oh quite a few things," Dr. Manning says. "I am quite sick in the head,"
"Sure sure, we all are, kinda a requirement in the business. Ain't that right Elroy?" Jake calls up to the Spec Ops driving.
"S'right Mr. Malone," Elroy says, his expression unreadable under his oakleys.
"Well, while I imagine your sickness is more of a hunger born on the battlefield, mine is an incessant need to understand how things work,"
"Ah I see, you're a twisted little bastard, ain't ya?" Jake says.
"Merely curious," Dr. Manning says. "And perhaps severely autistic,"
The car ride continues for three more hours. The two cars pass the state line, and enter into Arkansas; CTA-controlled territory. The two cars close in on each other, and soon they're driving as a pair.
"Now," Jake says. "The ID's everyone has says we're geologists. Dr. Manning here is going to help us with that, with his vast knowledge of rocks,"
"I don't know anything about rocks," Dr. Manning says. "I'm a chemist, a surgeon and a physicists, but not a damn student of the natural sciences!"
"Eh," Jake says. "We'll make it work."
Miraculously, both cars make it through the heavily armed, heavily fortified CTA checkpoint, and enter into Arkansas.
"So, Elroy," Jake says, leaning forward. "Why was Arkansas such a shit show after the schism?"
"Can't say Mr. Malone," The spec ops driver responds. "They certainly handled up though. Gave everyone a good thrashing before all the foreigners stepped in. Rumor is they're strip mining the state now, and using that initial resistance as an excuse,"
"Sure, sounds about right," Jake says, leaning back in his seat.
Three hours later, the cars pull up onto an abandoned road. in the ozark mountains. They've been winding up the road for hours, and now drive into a strange ravine.
"Don't like the look of this Mr. Malone," The driver says. "Easy ambush point,"
"Ah relax," Jake says. "Who's gonna attack a bunch of geologists,"
The cars pull into an opening, revealing itself to be a small valley. In the center rises a large, concrete building.
"That's the top of a silo if I ever saw one," Jake says, getting out and going around to the trunk. He opens it and retrieves weapons. The CIA agent passes them out to the spec ops teams. "Let's go boys. Doctor, you got your gieger counter?"
"Yes yes," Dr. Manning says, donning a clumsy hazmat suit.
"Hey, we don't have hazmat suits, do we?"
>>
>>1676129

"Oh wear a gasmask you pussy," Jake says, tossing one to the spec ops soldier. "Dr. Manning here is being dramatic,"
"If you say so," Dr. Manning says, taking the lead. "Gentlemen, let us enter,"
Inside the silo is a single elevator. Jake tinkers with the controls with the help of Dr. Manning, and the elevator descends.
And descends.
And descends.
After forty minutes the elevator comes to a stop with a loud clang.
"Well," Jake says. "We are...unusually deep for a missile silo,"
"I do detect trace amounts of radiation though," Dr. Manning says, waving around his geiger counter.
"Well, let me know before my ball hair falls off," Jake says, walking forward. "Let's find us a nuke and establish a connection. So we can get the fuck out of here,"
The team walks forward, coming to a massive set of steel doors. After some more manipulations, the door opens. There is a dark room beyond. The team finds themselves on a balcony overlooking a huge room. A light slowly flickers on.
In the center of the massive room, and the only thing to occupy it, is a single man. He is chained with over a thousand chains to every wall.
"Huh," Jake says, putting a hand to his hip. "That doesn't look like a missile,"
"No," Doctor Manning says, his eyes sparkling. "That looks like something far, far more interesting,"

The Jake's have reported back with their findings. Both bases in Arizona and Colorado have been secured. The Colorado base is expansive. It a series of interconnected hangers, testing rooms and a manufacturing plant. It would make an excellent base, but also draws a massive amount of power that might draw attention if used to it's full potential.
The Arizona base is simply deep, very deep. In fact it is really just a central intelligence room with computers and machines, and a series of hallways and barracks. There is a singular hanger that leads to a hidden overhead door for helicopters to come and go.
You must now decide how to send to what base, including the datacore and the drones that have been repaired. You can also move the Carolina militia and station them at either base
>>
>>1676225
How long do locations hit by the core stay down? How long will it take to reach each location and are there 'unionists'? inside Arizona and Colorado? Also would the Carolina milita be alright if we left them here?
>>
>>1676240

You peruse over the command console in the officers room. You're reviewing the results of the Shanghai test. It's taken them a full two days to reboot most of their power systems. A sustained and coordinated attack would likely do much more damage, but would also require quite a bit of power.
You swipe over to a map of Arizona and Colorado. Arizona is mostly deserted from rising temperatures and heat waves. Colorado seems to contain one known group on the "terrorists watchlist", The Mountain Men, but from what you can tell most of Colorado is fiercely loyal to itself as a new state.
>>
>>1676225
>>1676254
Before we move bases, have Jake print out more clones, using the last of the cloning material we have.

I say to keep the drones in Arizona, and our group heads over to the Colorado base.
>>
>>1676254
>Make contact with these 'Mountain Men' ahead of time via a Jake, and target the Satellite grid that doesn't have back doors we are aware of.

We need to stop them or something else for a clean move to hook the core up too.

Let's prepare to move everybody into the Colorado base, With the core being moved towards Arizona and a Jake. The Milita men can stay here with another jake and split the drones up in three.

>>1676262
That's like...15 extra Jakes? Why would we need that.
>>

Nah mate, we're leaving the base more will follow so we need to either destroy it or transport shit, I think it's highly unlikely.

So I want us to have more clones made, I never said to make 15 jakes, but since it's going to be the last time we get to use this base, we should print a few more jakes just in case. 5 in total.

We still need CIA infiltrators

>You realize we got a refill of Bio-material right? We could print like 20 dudes or something from it.

I know that. But you not understanding what I'm saying. The Interpol team send up the mountains looking for this base, is not coming back.

Because of this reason, the Virginia state, and Interpol + China are going to come looking what happened to the team they send. They are going to bring tanks, planes and other shit we can't handle.

What I'm saying we have only some much time to spend on this base in Virginia. So it's best to print up new people, before they come beating down our door. And figuring out if we want to destroy the base if we can't bring any of the cloning machines with us or don't have enough time.

Not conformed by OP posts. And we did kill 5 of them.
So unless OP forget to post about it we'll be alright. Or OP decided we were going to scan their minds, until they escaped.

So this can go either two ways.
1. The team wasn't scan since they broke out. And we can't scan dead people, leaving us with a team missing, and they will come for us.

2. We scanned the team, OP forget to tell us, and we can make copies to send back.

Bonus Choice
3. Dr. Manning somehow can scan recently dead people, and make us that copies. Since memories is just neutrons in our minds. (Don't work with Jess, since her shot to the brain)

Hahah dam, I love hillbillies.

We could print out a Infiltrator or 2, and have them train some of our guys.

We should clean the base after, pull all advanced tech and documents, scrap all used materials like empty containers for the bio 3d printers, and pull out the entire 3d printing tubes and freeze chambers. The bodies we buried probably need to be burned cremated.

We should focus on building our group and laying low for the next little while, learn more about the other groups and "countries". There are lots of groups we can start forming networks and alliances with, and that's more important that going out doing very flashy attention grabbing actions.

I'd like to learn more about the instability of Arkansas and groups that are desperate for any sort of support.

Texas is interesting, I wonder what the average Texan would feel about the balkanization of America.

Just think of USSR. But it will be a regionally money powerhouse, due to the amount it can make, but than again giving all that benefits. Or giving everyone no benefits since we're all equally poor.
Maybe lots of people moved over time, if allowed.
And I way I describe it, people will want to fight back.

"Listen up," You say, sitting in your chair. You are once again in the command room. Your command staff sits around you, minus Jake1 and Dr. Manning. The whiskey has been passed, though this time it is with a grim resolution. "We're leaving this base." You say. "It is time to expand. Jake1 and Jake3, as well as two spec ops teams and ten drones, will go to Arizona. You will attempt to infiltrate the base, using the datacore if need be." The whiskey bottle has made its way back to you, and you help yourself to another glass. "Myself, two spec ops teams, Jake4 and Jake5 as well as Dr. Manning, and the other ten drones, will head towards the Colorado base." You turn towards the captains. "Liberty Legion is in charge of the base when we leave. Your orders are to stay low,"
"Sir!" You turn in your seat. A soldier is standing in the doorway.
"What is it soldier," You say.
"Drone patrol just picked up 6 F-35's headed towards the base! And mountain surveillance has spotted a tank column headed up the highway towards the mountain!"
You grit your teeth. You've been found out. You're not sure how, but it happened.

The sun dips as your car eats highway lines. Mile marker after mile marker is passed as you head west. You sit in the back seat of your car, the secretive and vindictive General Nathan Oman, as Jake4 drives. A militaman sits in the passenger, and a printed Spec Ops man sits beside you. All four of you are wearing denim and button up shirts, to better blend in with the country.
You have just narrowly escaped the mountain with your life. The past eight hours were such a blur you can hardly remember them. You deeply crave sleep, but your body is too wired from the chaos.
It took you three hours to rip every computer, server, weapon kit and armor piece from the base. The drone fleet had been successfully scrambled immediately, and as you sit in this car they make their way towards Colorado and the Arizona border. Those left behind were nearly all killed.
Most of the Liberty Legion died in combat with a Virginian Armor division. The tanks and APV's turned the mountainside forest into shredded lumber, and even though the Liberty Militia had access to to anti-armor weaponry, they were simply outgunned. The militaman sitting in front of you is one of the last, and he has been silent this entire car ride.
No matter. Your spec ops, as well as yourself, made it out just fine. Along with several truckloads of weapons and tech, which are being stored in Creedshaw until you can transfer them. Dr. Manning and Jake1 are currently transporting their big surprise in the Osprey to God's Garden Base in Colorado. The raid was an annoyance, but not necessarily a setback.
Well.
You stare up at the militaman. You're sure he wishes his buddies were still here. Perhaps later you can ask Dr. Manning to copy the militiaman's brain. You bet the militia man would enjoy that, seeing how Jake turned out.
"Hey Nathan," Jake says, drumming lightly on the steering wheel. "I gotta stop for gas soon,"
"So do it," You say, lowering your sunglasses to look at a passing billboard.
"Well, I don't have any cash on me, seeing as how I'm a clone and all."
You instinctively tap your back pocket, before realizing any federal bills you might have kept with you are now worthless. You turn to the spec ops guy, but then remember he's printed. You, Jake and the Spec Op's man turn to the militiaman. He seems to snap out of his shellshock, staring at each one of you. You motion at Jake, signalling for him to take care of it.
"What's going on," The militiaman says.
"What's your name, son," You say.
"Jeremy,"
"Jeremy," Jake says, putting a hand to his shoulder. "You and your brothers have sacrificed so much for the cause. Now I'm going to ask you to sacrifice just a little bit more. You got a credit card?"
Jeremy looks shell shocked again. "Discover," He says. Jake turns off the road into a roadside Shell station, parks at a pump, and turn back towards the militiaman.

>>
>>1690479
Sweet, we're live. Shame about the Liberty Legion, backwood hicks make for fine insurgents. I like the idea of distributing neural pins to our forces, it's a cheep way of allowing us to maintain or forces' strength even in deadly circumstances.
>>
"Jeremy," Jake says. "I need you to take that Discover card, go in that shell station, and get us a full tank. And a shit ton of snacks. And, I don't know if you guys still have magazines in the future but....c'mon. You know what kind I want you to get."
The militaman looks bewildered. "Ah-h just saw my friends and neighbors killed. Their bodies line the mountain above my h-home,"
"Enough," You say, cutting him off. He's indeed shellshocked, and in serious need of psychiatric attention when you eventually get to a base. "Just give Jake the card,"
"Ah c'mon Nathan don't make me go in the goddammed gas station."
You pass it to the Spec Ops guy, who snatches it out of your hand. As he's getting out, you realize you need to use the bathroom. The adrenaline is finally wearing off, and all your body pains are returning. You get out of the car and go inside. You use the bathroom, then come out and peruse the soda cooler. You nod approvingly when you find a bottle of coke. As you take it to the register, where the spec ops guy is paying, you see two men enter the gas station. They pull masks over their faces and whip out shotguns from under their jackets. You instinctively draw your beretta and hide behind the chip aisle.

You briefly consider keeping your head down. It's a good idea. On the other hand, the man behind the register is American, even if he does not know it. You level your beretta and come out from behind the chip aisle.
"Steady soldiers," You say, coming closer. "I promise I'm better with mine then you are with yours,"
"The fuck?" One of the men says. He fingers his shotgun.
"Buddy," You say. "I just spent the last day engaging with a traitor army that contained Bradleys, Abrams, and everything inbetween. Now I'm itching to leave this state, but I have no problem dropping two more bodies before I go,"
"Man," One of the robbers says. "Fuck you," He raises his shotgun. You fire. The Spec Ops man spins and disarms the other robber. The first robber hits the floor.
Five minutes later you and the spec ops man are walking out of the gas station. The spec ops man has plastic bags full of snacks, magazines, energy drinks, coke and iced tea. The gas station attendant was more then happy to load you up with them. These are troubled times after all, and there won't always be a good man with a gun.
Back in the car, Jake fuels up and drives back out onto the interstate. You all take turns finishing off the energy drinks and filling your worn and battle weary bodies with gas station food. You leave Virginia and hit a main interstate just as the sun's setting.
"Well Nathan," Jake says, turning to you. "What do you think. Should we drive through the night or turn off somewhere?"

Four days. Four nights. Rotations, caffeine and bags of chexmex and combos. On the dawn of the fifth day you arrive in Colorado. Jake provides the boarder guard with fake Carolina passports. He waves the four of your through. You watch him pass by behind the dark lenses of your sunglasses.
It takes another day to reach Colorado Springs. After that, you spend six hours driving into the mountains. You stare at the back of the militaman's head, as you've done much of the trip. Jeremy has made an admirable rally, even summing the energy to drive. "Jeremy," You say, tapping his shoulder. "That incident back in Virginia. The gas station robbery,"
"Yessir?" Jeremy says.
"Is that common?"
"Well sir," Jeremy says, scratching at his beard. "As long as the power's on, and the gas is cheap, and the food is too, everybody does just fine. But uh," He stops scratching his beard. "On the occasions where none of that is true, there might be some robberies. General lawlessness. Violent suppression. And such."
You finally reach the base. The old worn doors have been recently opened. Proof that at least one of the Jakes is here. You initiate the open sequence at a side panel and the great metal doors creak open. There are lights on already inside, and the car passes through into a large hanger. You get out. Jake1 walks over and greets you.
"Jake," You say, nodding at him.
"Nathan," He says. He gestures at the base. "It's nice. Kinda big, but nice,"
You nod. "What's all this about the nuclear silo in Arkansas."
Jake sighs. "Look Nathan, I'm done trying to wrap my head around it, just go visit Dr. Manning and his new lap setup. Guy's been in there with the thing since we got here,"
You start walking across the hanger. You have two spec ops teams here, two jakes, and Dr. Manning.

"Jake," You say, turning to Jake1. "Make contact with the Arizona base,"
"You got it Nathan," Jake1 says. He gives a lazy salute and saunters away.
"Jake," You say, turning to the Jake you rode in the car with. "I want research done on nearby militias that might be sympathetic to the cause."
"The keyword I'll put in google is "Unionist," Jake says. "Why that's the word and not Federalists I'll never understand."
"The Union Party," You say, ignoring Jake's sarcasm. You say it quietly, almost to yourself.
"What?" Jake4 says.
"You were dead so you wouldn't know, but while you're googling militias, type that one into the search bar,"
You turn and walk away. It takes a few turns and several stops, but you finally find where Dr. Manning has set up shop. It's inside a testing lab for fighter jets. Row upon row of glass wall separates tiny work station with advanced equipment. One of the glass rooms is covered in tarp. You approach it, and are stopped by two spec ops standing guard at a glass door.
"Sorry sir," One says. "Any further and you got to put on the suit,"
"So give me a suit, soldier,"
One of the guards goes to a workstation and retrieves a folded white hazmat suit. You put it on, securing a gasmask over your face. the guards open the door.
"Right through the tarps General," One of the soldiers says, pointing inside the next glass room. You enter and walk through the tarps.
In the center of the room is a giant black box. Surrounding the box are an array of instruments hanging from the ceiling or propped up on make-shift stands. Power cables snake away from the instruments and the black box.
"General! General!"
You turn, spotting Dr. Manning. He is rushing over to you from a computer array, accompanied by a hunched young man. They both wear the same suits as you.
"Doctor," You say. "Who is this?"
"Bah, just some graduate student I kidnapped on my way through OSU. I needed help,"
You appraise the kidnapped grad student, tapping the beretta you wear outside your hazsuit. He stares back at you in fear. You turn to Dr. Manning.
"What have you found,"
Doctor Manning smiles. "I thought you'd never ask. Come! Come," He motions you over to the monitor array. Sixteen screens show you the same room at sixteen different angles. In all the screens is a single man, sitting upright on a chair. In front of him is a variety of games and puzzles.
"What am I looking at," You say, staring at the different screens. "Who is that,"
"What, who," Dr. Manning says, shrugging. He is barely able to contain his excitement. "These are meaningless questions. That thing you see in that room is a sun dressed in the skin of a man!"
You look at Dr. Manning. "What are you saying,"
"I'm saying that "man" in that box is able to generate nuclear fusion chain reactions, contained inside his body!"
Your eyes narrow. Suddenly you are interested. "How. What has he told you. Where does he come from?"
>>
Again Doctor Manning shrugs. "I cannot say. He has been in that silo, chained to the walls, for over thirty years. His mind is that of a child's. He barely speaks, and when you try and take away one of the games he gets angry. One of the Agent Malones tormented him when we first got here. That thing in the box almost melted the base."
You rub your chin. "Childhood is an impressionable age."
"Would you like to introduce yourself, commander?" Dr. Manning says.

>Go inside the box, introduce yourself to the man

"Open the door, doctor," You say, approaching the black box. Dr. Manning taps away at a screen, and the door to the black box hisses open. You step inside.
Just as the monitors showed, it is a white room with games and puzzles strewn about. In the center sits the man. An empty chair is across from him. You walk over to the chair, the man watching you impassively. You take your seat.
"Hello," You say. The man says nothing. You nod. "It's okay, I understand things are new and frightening for you. Do you have the name?" The man shakes his head no. "That's alright," You say. "We'll come up with a name later. How are you feeling?" Again the man says nothing. "Again, I understand," You say. "May I tell you a story?" The man cocks his head, then slowly nods. You scoot your chair a little closer.
"My story starts a long time ago. Once there was a great nation, and that nation was full of men and women who upheld the ideals and dreams of its founders. It was a nation of innovators, entreprenuers soldiers and artists," You look at the man, and see his eyes are wide. You smile. "It was a nation of good people," The man nods slowly. "That nation is gone." You say. "It is gone. It was not perfect, no nation is. But now it and the dream it birthed are buried beneath the soil of this land," You stand, looking the man in the eyes. "The story has no end, for we are in it right now. I want you to help me write the story. To right the wrongs done against the people of this nation, and to resurrect a great beast they thought they buried. Can you help me?"
The man meets your gaze. "May I have a name?"

"I have already given him a name," Dr. Manning's voice crackles through the loudspeakers in the room. "He is codenamed "Sundowner""
"Very good Doctor," You say, staring at the man. "But he needs a proper name, one for outside the field. How about Benjamin Franklin. Ben for short." You hold out your hand. "Can I rely on you, Ben?"
The man takes your hand. His is very warm, you feel it through your suit.
"Good," You say. "I'll be back,"
You leave the blackbox, then the lab. "Meeting in one hour Doctor," You say as you exit the lab.
"Yes General," Dr. Manning calls after you. "I'll be there!"

One hour later you, two Jakes and Dr. Manning are all present, as well as the two spec ops captains. You are all in a large conference room. It is too big for your needs, but it is the only room with the holographic command interface. Most of the lights are off, except for a few illuminating an American Flag one of the soldiers hung on the back wall.
"Gentlemen," You say, looking around at those seated. "Report,"
"Two of the Jakes are with two spec ops teams in Arizona," Jake 1 says. "They've got half the drone fleet there, and are in the process of getting the base running,"
You turn to Jake4. "We got two militias in the state, one in the southern rockies, one in the north. The one closest to us are the Rocky Mt Men, and the other ones called the Defenders Militia. The Colorado authority got them pretty holed up in the mountains, but they got potential if we contact them"
"And the data core, did we get the weapon safely here?"
"It's actually in Arizona," Jake1 says. "But we just have to radio the base to use it,"

That's it for tonight boys, thanks for questing with me on this fine friday. I'll post sometime tomorrow when we'll start back up with a new thread, and I'll address tonight's answers there. Linked here of course.
>>
>>1691992
Thanks for running Lop, now, how easy or difficult would it be to start producing neural pins like the one Jake had? Considering the high fatality rates of our men in the field, we could use a means of backing up their minds (and infiltrating enemy organizations hue hue).
>>
>>1691766
We need to lie low and not do any direct action or we get everyone who wants to fight back killed. We need to focus on expanding our networks and alliances, build up our power base.

>Do you want to make contact with one or both of the militias?
Send a jake to get in contact with them. Talk to them and get info about them and their problems, ideology, and abilities.

>Do you want to use the datacore?
No, we should use if for datamining, communications security, and online anonymity. Create a new 4chan where people can safely express their views.

>There are printers in the Colorado facility with enough bioorganics to print ten people. Do you have a preferred type?
Make another one of us, and use it to start making reliable men to fill our manpower losses.
Save enough to print 2 people in reserve.

>The Carolina milita is requesting orders
Tell them to lie low and avoid bringing heat down on themselves, and to see if they can get jobs and positions in the police and local politics.

>Those left in the town of Creedshaw are asking for assistance. There are weapons store there, most of the men are dead, and the VBI has agents all over the town. A Jake might help.
Send a Jake and maybe Jeremy if hes willing.
>>
>>1692142
that is a good plan
>>
>>1692142
>>1692169
We should also look into maybe setting up a proxy contact with Texas. They sounded like they were pretty hostile against foreign interests so maybe that's our start
>>
>>1692179
I think we should get a feel for Texas first before making contact. We gotta assume all electronic communications are likely monitored in some (inconsistent) form or another.

So anyone up for a trip to Texas and see if things are better there?
>>
>>1692211
We should probably send another Jake. If we die, the entire movement does so too. We'll have to be careful, but maybe our cyber weapon also helps secure channels too
>>
>>1692258
Having 2 people who look alive may raise some suspicions. Also I wanted to make a clone of us, I'm thinking 1 of us per base, and 2 jacks for every one of us.
>>
>>1692272
Making a clone of us could fuck us over as it's like having two presidents. I could see maybe using one as a body double for a public outing, but I think we should back up our brain but not make a clone
>>
>>1692283
Well it depends on how we develop our character. I thought we'd just be controlling the other us as we do with our main but that is up to op.

With some work and growth we might be able to shape him to not conflict after. Also I want to move away from centralized control, we are thinking too much like general in conventional armies instead of a leader of a guerilla movement.
>>
>>1692438
I like your plan, but maybe not cloning ourselves.
>>
>>1692546
I'm fine with cloning or back up our brains, I just want there to be a "backup" for if we die, no pun intended.
>>
>>1692438
Now see I disagree. Every Guerrilla operation starts out disorganized and small, but slowly builds up to be a force to be reckoned with. We have already passed the small disorganized stage, so reverting back could only harm our hopes of rejoining the Union. We shouldn't micromanage the actual missions themselves, but there needs to be a very strong central power, so we are like an actual army, not a band of rednecks with guns
>>
>>1691819
i still think this plan is the best
>>
>>1691819
Well actually I think we should stay away from any big attacks. That's how we got fucked in the first place with our first base
