>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirty year old man named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.

Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I hope everyone has fun.

That monster is after one of your friends, but you aren't sure which one, and time is of the essence. Closing your eyes, and focusing on the energies in the direction the beast is travelling, you're able to identify which of your friends is in immediate danger.

Lazuli flies through the air in the direction of West City, intending to return home and wait for Yamcha to do the same. You can't feel the energy of that creature at the moment, so odds are that she can't, either.

A green blur suddenly appears within your field of view, and you realize that you have only seconds before the beast is on top of your friend.

"Popo!" you shout to your attendant.

"Come with me!" he tells you as the two of you rush into the Lookout.

With no time to lose, you make your way to the room with the machine, and stand in the proper space while Popo tends to the controls, sending you in a flash of light to where you need to go.

Next thing you know, you're high above a forest, watching as Lazuli and the creature face-off. To your surprise, Lazuli isn't defending, but instead attacking the monster with a furious series of attacks.

Where Chi-Chi usually battles by trying to overwhelm her foes with a fast, powerful flurry of attacks to break through defenses and make the enemy incapable of fighting back, Lazuli attacks with precise strikes meant to do as much damage as possible. She aims to stun, cripple, or kill with every strike she makes, trying to end the battle in as quick and brutal a manner as possible. And, to her credit, she seems to be giving the creature trouble.

The creature moves backward through the air, blocking, parrying, and dodging Lazuli's attacks . Finally, your friend manages to land a punch to the creature's gut, pushing it back and causing it to hunch over, though only just a bit.

She throws a glance in your direction. "Tofoo, what are you doing here?"

Before you even answer Lazuli, you charge toward the beast, your aura turning green and your power rising as you activate the Kuma-Ken. You close in on the monster and attack with everything you have, punching and kicking at the beast, who laughs as it avoids each strike.

Angry now, you gather up your energy and fire it in a wave at the creature, who simply spins out of the way of the blast and swings his tail, striking you in the face and knocking you away. You begin to fall fast, looking up to see the beast giving chase, smiling sadistically and raising its tail, preparing to stab you with it like he did the people of Gingertown and Nicky Town.

Lazuli lets out a yell as she strikes from the side, kicking the beast's head in what should have been a neck-breaking attack. All it manages, however, is knocking the creature off-course and temporarily disorienting it, allowing you to correct yourself and rise to join your friend.

"I asked you a question, Tofoo," Lazuli tells you, sounding quite annoyed.

"That creature killed two cities full of people," you explain, watching as the green monster begins to rise to your level. "I need to kill it."

"Sorry, Tofoo, but that won't be happening," the creature tells you in its creepy, confident voice. "You're going to become my meal. You and Lazuli both."

"I don't think so, freak!" the blonde woman shouts, getting ready to fight some more.

The creature smiles, letting out an amused sigh. "There's no need for insults, my dear Lazuli. Really, you should feel honored."

"All I feel is disgusted," she replies, eyes narrowing.

The creature laughs again, then seems to vanish, appearing in front of Lazuli and slamming its fist into her gut.

As she hunches over, it moves its arm behind her head and slams its elbow into the back of her skull. Lazuli begins to fall, but it quickly grabs her by the back of her track suit, lifts her up in front of its face, and punches her in the gut again, causing her to cry out in pain and fall limp in its grasp.

The creature doesn't stop, however, striking her face and gut over and over until it's confident that she won't be fighting back.

It smirks in your direction, raising its tail and preparing to impale her.

Raising your hands in front of your face, you prepare to hit the creature with a Solar Flare. But, before you get the chance, Lazuli opens her eyes, kicks upward, and catches the beast in the jaw.

Surprised, the creature releases its grip on the girl, who throws a second kick that slams into its throat. As it's pushed back, Lazuli races forward and lands punch after punch to its gut before firing a wave of energy that pushes it back even further.

This time, rather than giving chase, Lazuli gathers up her energy and begins hurling a barrage of energy attacks at the creature. Each one hits its mark, and soon, the hideous thing is obscured by smoke.

Lazuli doesn't stop, firing blast after blast of energy at the monster, not stopping until she seems to run out of steam, hunching a bit and giving labored breaths.

Not being stupid enough to assume that the creature is dead, you fire a Bear Shout into the smoke cloud. Sure enough, it strikes something before detonating, creating an even larger smokescreen that soon blocks your view of your friend.

You spin around, hoping to strike before your foe gets the chance, but as you make your turn, a massive foot slams into your head, sending your head jerking back and causing you to black out for a moment.

"Well, Tofoo, I'd hoped someone with your reputation would put up a better fight," the creature remarks, swinging its tail back and forth above you. "But in the end, it doesn't really matter. This was never going to end any other way. Say goodbye to this world!"

The creature's tail begins to descend, but rather than stabbing into your body, it finds itself sliced off at the end by an Energy Blade that sprouts from your arm.

As the end of the monster's appendage falls to the ground, you take advantage of its shock to slice through the leg being used to pin you down, cutting through the knee and severing the lower leg from the creature's body.

It falls off-balance, and you leap back to your feet, knocking it flat with a powerful punch to the face.

Without a word to the creature, you open your mouth wide, engulfing it in a wave of light before it had the chance to try and defend itself. You feel its energy vanish, and the ground shakes as your blast detonates, sending out shockwaves that level trees and smoke that keeps you from seeing two feet ahead of yourself.

You rise into the air, struggling to catch your breath as you search for any signs of the creature having survived.

You see nothing, and you feel nothing.

"It was something that came from the future or at least it somewhat connected to it since my wife got a call about a time machine similar to Trunk's being abandoned near Ginger Town to where it ate all the people there."

"I don't know," you admit as you glance over at her. "Are you alright?"

"I'm alive, so I guess that's enough," she tells you with a shrug.

"Come on," you tell her. "We should head back to the Lookout."

Maybe, although doesn't that thing takes time to use and a ki signature to teleport to?
>>
>>1717297
I think the time is pretty subjective, but IN THEORY perhaps he could teleport to his unfinished self in the lab, that would make a pretty good get out of jail free card.
>>
How much you wanna bet he survived somehow?

Other stuff keeping you busy for a bit?

How did lazuli think of us destroying cell?

Who felt that fight and what did they think?
>>
>>1717322
It is near impossible that he is dead.
>>
>>1717322
Well. he is still in the secret lab, so whatever we do he is still going to survive until we know about the lab.
>>
>>1717226
>B. You don't know
>F. Suggest heading back to the Lookout

There were two of these things so far.
There's bound to be more.

Guys, you're not looking at this the right way.

The only way Cell could survive, is if he's been using the Multi-Form technique. He's been scouting us, while keeping his true power level completely hidden. That's why he jobbed so hard twice. The moment we truly face him, it'll be pure and utter despair. The quest is just getting dragged on until Som ends it on the most depressing note possible.

I'M INTO YOU, SOM. YOU CAN'T FOOL ME!!

That or we just never figure out that the basement exists, so we end up having to do the real cell saga in the middle of the seven year period between the cell and buu arc. Maybe even combine it with the android thirteen movie and have cell activate and send all of the androids left in Gero's secret lab basement in order to gauge and learn our techniques and fighting styles, as well as take more samples to improve upon himself. There's a lot left som could do with the androids and cell.

I have plans
>>
>>1717381
Well when Trunks and Bulma were checking the time machine they did mention something about Egg shells like in more then one.
>>
>>1728113
Well, Kami did said he felt something powerfull buried deep withing the earth so cell might just be hidden and doing what you just said to gather energy and then doing what you just said.
