"Ah finally things are going somewhat well. Got the food taken care of and the pirates distracted."

"How does monster fishing work anyway?"

"Like ordinary fishing except more fighting."

"Are the missile launchers really necessary?"

"Clearly you never been monster fis-oh fuck what the hell happened? Didn't those guys go out with a proper ship? Why the fuck is there only a single shuttle left," cursed one of the pirates after seeing a clearly heavily damaged shuttling landing(crashing).

Shortly after some pirates pull themselves off the ship cheering.

"WOOOH NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL A PROPER FUCKING MONSTER HUNT!"

"What the hell happened to you guys? How the fuck did you lose your ship?"

"Well this ere monster hunt...is the real fucking deal. Holy shit you should of seen how many of those big bastards there were! I swear it was as if they knew we were coming and prepared! Holy shit it was like that space monster hunt in the Octuris system all over again. Except more water!"

"...Wow that insane?"

"Hell yeah what you still haven't gotten the feeds up?"

"Had to build them by scratch so it takes some tim- holy shit," begins a pirate tek before stopping as a badly wounded pirate ship arises from the deeps with monsters crudely strapped on.

"...Wait isn't that super bad ass elite pirate's personal ship? You know the crazy fuck who took on an entire defense station on their lonesome? How the fuck..."

Suddenly the ship halted over the 'vip' section and proceeded to spew out many wounded pirates and a laughing heroic pirate.

"HAHAHAHAH I love me a proper monster hunt but goddamn I had NO idea it was going to be that fucking good! I seen entire schools of monsters who looked like a space krakens bigger, meaner, pissed off cousins that fucked a shark crab."

"Oh it even managed to impress you? How unexpected that even you a super pirate would vouch for the hunt..."

"You got NO idea how fucking insane it is out there. I mean fuck me if i knew the hunt was going to be this fucking good I would I brought out my favorite guns and ships! Oh hold up there you TEKKIE FUCK I NEED TO USE YOUR COMMS! Gotta call for my other ships and gear to be delivered! Current one can't take another trip down there..."

"Uh...Captain our ship is sorta...sinking."

"Oh what the hell I told you idiots to land on some proper fucking rock. No wait its...tipping over. Fuck should of checked those bindin-*CRASH*. Ah...too much weight on one side over the other. Nothing that can't be fixed now where is that damned comm set..."

"Holy shit my party planner I didn't think you would have such planning...now tell me how DID you pull off that monster hunt trick? Cause holy shit you would think you broke into their nest cracked all their eggs and raped their mother before their very eyes," asks a pirate buddying up to you.

"I uh...wait it's that bad?"

"That bad? You kidding me its fucking CRAZY out there. Like how the fuck did you know those monsters were gonna cause some right proper MAYHEM!"

"Um...well...I..."

"Oh lay off the guy how could he reveal what is clearly such an important trade secret," buts in a pirate captain. "But I gotta give you some serious credit my man even those pirates who normally don't go on monster hunts are feeling interested. Those who like those kinda hunts its practically a dream come true for them."

"Well you...see...its..."

"Mh...fresh barbecued monster to feast on all the booze and drugs to enjo-OOH THEY GOTTA THE VIDS UP!"

Sure enough you could see some hologram projectors sputter to life and start broadcasting their show...that was in truth one chaotic huge war zone made up of pirates, their ships, and monsters along with much bigger monsters fighting it out. It was practically a direct feed to warzone. Even you ended up gaping.

Meanwhile somewhere in the colony a cult was holding a meeting.

"GREETINGS MY FELLOW CULTIST TODAY IS GOING TO BE A GRAND DAY, starts the cult leader before his followers. "For today we can meet without worry thanks to the pirates and celebrations! More importantly I have gotten word from our beloved lord! We have at LONG last found a worthy sacrifice that fits within the high standards of or dearest god! Now what we need to do is arrange for a kidnapping and prepare for the ceremon-"

"UH leader...isn't that the girl who got kidnapped by those pirates and hunted down by that eldritch abomination!"

"Yeah thats her all right. All in the middle of the monster elimination!"

"Uh...wait WHAT?"

"Yeah I work in the militia and we all heard about it."

"Yeah me too and that's her all right...uh you feeling okay chief?"

"FFUUU-it took ages to find somehow who fit in this goddamned colony! You any idea how fucking hard it is to find a chaste woman in the military? Fuck me even in the goddamn religious boonies I wasn't finding shit...ah well nevermind then. In that case onto our second order of business! Last time we heard of that trespasser so have we identified what it is and who its with?"

"Well we thought it might be some pirate cultists but we never found any signs of them being up to anything. Which means it might be another cult in the colony..."

"I think it might be an independent event. Our Caller who went on a long walk talked about some very unusual findings..."

"Ah yes of course our Great Lord wouldn't be the only one to see some value in this worl-wait a second don't tell me its those other cultists cunts."

"man I knew I should of joined up with them."
>>

"Sh don't want the leader to hear you," warns another cultist.

"Fuck you man we never fuckng do anything. Never fucking good enough for the leader or hour 'great lord'. Fucks sake if I wanted nothing to ever happen I would of stayed in the church. At least that other cunts actually DOES things. I mean come on that humanoid eldritch outsider was fucking amazing. Why couldn't we do that? Instead all we get is these stupid meetings in these dumb outfits and snacks."

"Hey come man...these are some GREAT fucking snacks."

"Why the fuck would I need to join a goddamned cult only to get some freaking snack food?"

Elsewhere meanwhile a manager was chasing some leads.

"So you were on security...and you saw nothing out of the ordinary?"

"No. Only bots doing their usual thing. I am telling you even the tapes show that is true."

"Then how the FUCK did we get robbed blind? Did they use some fancy magic tricks to make poof our ENTIRE stock!"

"See look at these videos yourself. Nothing but your damned bots."

"Bots...bots were the only things?"

"Thats fucking right nothing else."

"...Motherfuckers they hacked our bots and used our own bots ferry the stolen goods. YOU IDIOTIC MOTHERFUCKERS! What you never fucking heard of hacking?"

What do?
>>
Rolled 91 (1d100)

>>1709976
Well this is certainly an interesting turn of events.
1) Observe our bots
2) Triangulate where they were hacked from with the assistance of our friend and anyone else with any know how

In the meantime we mingle with the Crowd, get to know people, get the big Hunters to like us because of our work get them on side and such, maybe find some specialists or heroes to aid us in what comes next

What comes next
A) We find who hacked us and stole our stock, we go knocking with all the back up from our new friends we can.
B) We're still at a loss so we bring in some new friends to aid us in finding where the bots dropped off to and so on then go with Point A

Manager maybe put a tracker in some of our supplies, mark them so we can track them. If they don't know we're onto them they might not be aware.

Come on Nat 1 Opening

God dam there is so much to do.

That cult is gonna be a interesting way. back to her (first waifu). So that will be fun to see played out.

>>1710326
Yeah we can hopefully get our friends to help look into the theft. May as well file a report to the cops as well.

Maybe even send some workers with the first mate to check out the ship. Just in case people got on while Rel is out. Since we have some Eva suits I believe they will be fine.

Then we keep putting our faith in the manger. For we got a party to keep up and friends to make. Maybe we will get to learn a hell of a lot about combat from this. If not at least make some friends.

---

I do hope Rel will pull though this. I know it is our fault they got an aneurysm. Swarming pirates would make most get super stressed out.
>>
Now we wait till another can roll us on words.

Just in case, for new people and old players. Link for notes to catch ya up on what our hero has or remind.

The notes have you covered. Really there is not a major story arc we are following.

We are a hero who dumped all our stats into charisma. We had some chapters ( intro down pirate ship, skin walker hunt, etc.) and side quest (save pure waifu, fix all hell we let loose, etc.).

Now we are dealing with a party invite to the whole system, hungry hungry pirates (since our machines broke), and now monster hunters part 2.

Current player known back ground actions are a cult after waifu, again. The monsters pissed at us because they pulled a civ Gandhi from all our charm. (Probably doesn't help we just got done with a large scale monster hunt.)

So ask if you need to know something. I got your back. Otherwise Rust and me will keep posting ideas till it's back to free time or you're ready.

Hungry Hungry pirates...that sounds like an awesome game
>>
>>1713925
>Now we are dealing with a party invite to the whole system, hungry hungry pirates (since our machines broke), and now monster hunters part 2.
Can you clarify this further?
>>
>>1714431
>hungry hungry pirates
We did something to break our food processor. Pirates are a big customer for us.

>party invite to the whole system
We sent an invite to gain favor with pirates before they came to raid for food. That invite got sent to all the pirates viva system wide comms.

>monster hunters part 2.
To give the pirates something to do in our way under prep party. We made an event for fishing. (In the back ground we found out the monsters really don't like us. So much so we gained a Trait for it.) So this fishing event is really going crazy. Which turns out the pirates are loving.
>>
>>1714527
Okay so we have pirate customers we're selling food to.

The food machine broke, which means bad shit.

But we turned their attention to monster fishing, which is good.

Can they eat the monsters? This seems like a good temporary solution.

>>1709959
"Friends, advisors, lend me your ears.

Who has ideas on how we can fix or replace our food processor?"
>>
>>1714545
One friend name Evne(?) is helping fix some of the gear. We got a visit from upset customers. They were pissed and offered to look from machines for us.

We were hoping to buy some AI techs for the ship and machines in the party. Since pirates have loot and no use for food making gear. Then someone stole our product and the co-manger is looking into it.
>>
Rolled 14 (1d100)

>>1714545
Currently pirates are barbequeing their monster kills. Only problem with that is monsters aren't so edible and eventually they are gonna get sick of eating monsters.

Plus they are already bothering you about treating their kills into something safe to store and later eat on their ships.

Currently the inventor/creator of your food processing unit is preparing to build you a new one given how...the other one turned out. Problem is its delayed because of the unfortunate fact that when your processor bit the dust it include the stored parts for it.

So he has to do everything from scratch again. Hence the long delays.

>>1714602
Unfortunately your manager is no investigator. Fortunately he is long used to corporate espionage. Problem is that is a big reason why he left it behind in the first place.

So still no consensus?

>>1715314
>Next party game: "robo battle fiesta; rules are simple if you all are game, seeing as my first game damaged your ship I don't see why we can't use it for a new one. I propose a mock battle inside the totaled pirate ship, ill supply boarding bots, teams of 5 vs 5 bots set to slightly less lethal. Fastest time not only get bragging rights but their bar tab covered, sweet championship belts, and 25% off all supplies while reigning as champ at our shop once we get it back in order."

Action:
Buy time for our various friends to fix/find equipment for us to repair the food machine.

We are charismatic know? And Charismatic people know how to keep a fun party going!

Be imaginative and come up with knew ways for the pirates to have fun. Maybe even find ways to make the monsters more palatable like spices, or new recipe's, or get good cooks. Yeah, getting good cooks sounds like a good idea.

This is my vote.

Call any friends or people we know to help the manger out.

From there we mingle with the Crowd, get to know people, get the big Hunters to like us because of our work get them on side and such, maybe find some specialists or heroes to aid us in what comes next.

We get friends and then we get help for our other needs. Like AI techs to help Rel, track thieves, find waifu that can stand up to our antics, and speed up finding of machines from the shop.

>add- on
File a police report as well.

Maybe even send some workers with the first mate to check out the ship. Just in case people got on while Rel is out. Since we have some Eva suits I believe they will be fine.

You don't really have any techy hacker friends since you moved out here. Back before the colony sure but not here. Which leaves only the AIs on the ship...and pirates.

Your bots meanwhile continue with their duties as if they were never hacked in the first place and even their security settings indicate there wasn't a problem. Not even a single virus did they detect.

Which means either the hackers are just that good or they figured out a way to circumvent the entire thing.

You yourself meanwhile spend the time schmoozing up to the pirates who like to hunter. Including some heroic ones.

They weren't really processed yet and the manager had been too busy to stick a tracker on much to his embarrassment. With the condition of the Ship's AI they too didn't stick a tracker on.

What do?
>>
Rolled 32 (1d100)

>>1719770
Well then unless our current operator of the ship has anything to say or can track the unprocessed resources. I think it's best we make friends with people that can help us.

Our manger is doing their best. Let's do ours and get people that can help.

After all we still need techs to help Rel and work on the bots.
>>
Rolled 43 (1d100)

>>1720840
Currently Rel's status is his core is under a Cooldown period meaning that the Meltdown was successfully prevented.

Your manager is currently digging around in the robotic memory archives and is currently severing cursing about a severe lack of Archival AI and retrieval search databases.

the ship meanwhile is holding orbit between what sounds like either a boarding action or civil war. Kinda hard to tell with all the shit up there. First Mate meanwhile is mysteriously absent besides strange logs indicating what is either some monster hunting, pirate busting, or bot battling. Possibly a combination of all three at the same time somehow if the logs are legit and not corrupted or poorly archived.
>>
Rolled 60 (1d100)

>>1721050
... not sure how likely, but it is sounding like the ship's back up AI is ether doing something or needs back up.

I guess we can ask the party goers if they can lay off if they are trying something. This is a place for fun and making friends.

Tho I guess for some pirates raiding is all fun and games.
>>
Rolled 32 (1d100)

>>1721742
Basically the Ship's AI is about to enter reboot as the venting was successful.

The pirates seem to be busy either A monster hunting or B watching said monster hunting.

In both cases they tend to be a mixture of drunk and high regardless.

They even got these great big hologram feeds setup and betting pools.
>>
Rolled 42 (1d100)

let slip during a good time and the Hunt after some of the Hero bandits had some drinks that "someone stole all my stock and shit" sound down, "was hoping to provide and do more for the party ya know", basically get them to help us find who stole our shit when/if it gets their interest for we all know the greatest prey of all...is man. Otherwise we mingle and party, get up on stage and rock out or something, we've worked crowds before and our power will really help. WE MIGHT GET TIPS!

In the meantime Just have our staff do what they can and IF the Hunters are no interested go ask the TT for some trackers for our bots.

Natural 1 because I thought about it.

I like it.

Next round can we can we do a search for the techs we need? We need an AI Techs and Bot repair

Once we get money I want to hire pirates and normal types to improve our ship and bots. Give us a variety to work with to keep enemies guessing.

Right now there isn't much need from talk. We are doing events and making friends.

With the right words we could of helped the party invite. Even then it was a cirt that started this. So not like we had a chance to mold it.

I image if we wanted to make some deals. Then ya sliver it up.

Yet for now it's make friends, get said friends to help us, and get money to hire friends. Not sure if we even need to word it in a special way to get the pirates to help. At the moment this party is doing good. We could just ask for help and be upfront about it.

>Action: Ask for help

"Hey sorry to ask this in the middle of y'all's fun. It just I need a hand. Someone or thing took my goods to sell for the party, to buy help, and get things from the shop. Anyone willing to help me out? I would be grateful."

Then say what we need is someone to do a once over of Rel and the bots to make sure they are good, find the thief, and get us machines for the shop. Otherwise it's up to us how much we are willing to trust them.

---

I guess we could try twisting the words different, but I'm not that kinda person. I rather be upfront with them and be an alright person. We sell pirates food and haven't needed to be shady about it. So why become a corp? Just be a good person.

---

Then when we get the money. We can hire them on since they did us a solid or at least pay them later for the help.

We go out and keep mingling, we're a social hero so hell if there are bands playing get up there and sing or dance or rock out just make sure to play to our strengths, we're a good pretty boy trying the dark side?

Then go back down so socializing with hunters and such maybe a few more fans will have gathered. Then we say while we're at the bar and someone eventually asks how we are..

"I've been robbed actually"
-Wha No Way that sucks they say
"yeah broke into my store, *mention which it is* and now I cant even make the supplies for you lot anymore since an explosion happened... its just not been my year ya'know?"

We then wait and see if anyone comes forward to offer help or hell we go up there and work the pole seduce some bad girls from behind a beefcake wall and make bank? Sure it's a little crazy (its very crazy) but it's how you can make money on the quick, make friends and learn kingpins if they ask for a private show. (naturally i'd rather the hunters)
>>
Rolled 74 (1d100)

>>1730129
I think it's best not to limit mingling to not just hunters. Since we need to befriend techs as well. I'm uncertain how many would be Hunters.

... Not sure about dancing. We've probably don't have the best coordination. We just do shop work and talk most of the time. We can probably just grab drink and see what ladies want to chat. Bandit wemon tend to be more aggressive. As we seen first hand.

Otherwise we can wait till someone ask. Since that would lead to them being more likely to help. Tho I think as the hero we are. I think we will be fine to ask. Since time is of the essence. Those dam thieves already have a head start.

That was post fall its a bit different pre fall. Evil women back then...well they had a different way of courtship. In general both the forces of Evil and Good both had their own way of romance as well as sleeping around.

Everyone has of course read about and heard about those amazing fantasy/sci fi romances among the good guys...but lets just say the bad guys in Genieverse have their version.

I will admit aggression is true for post apoc and not post apoc. Evil women are...much more aggressive about their interest in someone. Both sexually and romantically. Chastity meanwhile...its best not to bring up chastity as its prone to causing a kill fest between the two groups of evil women.

Unlike the good guys romance between bad boy and bad girl are quite pro to getting...messy. As in full fledged wars between the two parties. See they don't take 'no' very well and instead of epic adventurers to win the others heart. They'll rather just beat them into submission as a way of 'romance'. Possibly due to the adage 'if you can't beat them join them'.

It's just the post apoc had allowed many of the more subtle approaches to fade away. Plus they evil crowd consider such a means of courting through beating the other into submission 'very romantic'.

This is assuming the negotiating phase failed. Which is basically the negotiations of the terms of the relationship. It's why unholy alliances between evil couples are so common.

Dating in the evil world is...a very messed up business. One that doesn't care much for anyone's wellbeing or at all for so called laws.

So should you ask to date an evil person in Genieverse. They actually see it as you suggesting yourself as a candidate for an unholy alliance with heavy sexual and romantic relief undertones.

With 'marriage' merely being the officiating of the arrangement.

Penalties for breaking said agreements are...harsh to put it VERY mildly. Which is why divorces tend to be so rare. The other party rarely lives to tell the tale. Widows are thus far more common then divorcees.

Thus evil people going to normal love deities isn't as common as you would think...for a very simple reason. Evil Love Deities instead of 'finding' your chosen love...don't find. They MAKE!

Meaning once two parties come to an agreement they go to an alter or temple to an evil love god to have their love...or lack of it taken care of.

There is no such thing as 'finding your true love' among evil forces. Because why find it when you can just MAKE IT HAPPEN instead? So much easier that way.

Meaning yes in all likelihood one if not both parties have been forced into loving the other. Its why the forces of evil scoff at 'true love' and running around willy nilly chasing after fleeting feelings.

So watch out lest you get dragged off to a evil love temple to make the love come true!

hahahah.
>>
Rolled 82 (1d100)

>>1731883
On the plus side 'dating' an evil bitch will grant you her unofficial support. As its considered extremely bad taste to not support your lover. However it need not become official until your married.

Beware that it goes both ways.

Its also considered bad taste to take what your lover possesses without killing them. Hence hostile takeovers are frowned upon unless the other party is dead leaving you the sole party and owner.

Hence why evil marriages are so often referred to as 'unholy alliances'. The forces of evil actually maintained the old school idea that marriage isn't for love but business. However they turned things around when they decided to go along with making love happen instead of letting it naturally occur...

after all what is the difference between 'real' love and 'forced' love? This idea is horrifying to the extreme among the forces of good but among evil forces its just plain good business. To them what does it matter if its natural or unnatural if you still feel the love either way?

Unsurprisingly there is a reason why so many joke about the seeming lack of romantic nonsense that the forces of evil deal with. To them its either an entertaining game(see the 'courtship' phase with possible full out war on top or simple business).

The Genie put a lot of thought into how the forces of evil do romance when compared to the good guys and how it normally works. Turns out the evil forces have their own fucked up but very effective way of going about it.

Hence dating to forces of evil= all fun and games to pass. Because once they get serious then the love gets enforced along with the terms of the deal.

If you decide to date a bad girl don't say I didn't warn you.
>>
Rolled 45 (1d100)

>>1731951
Its because of that the...dating of the bad crowd tends to be insane. Even if you yourself are not a member. As well...they have a very hard time NOT resorting to evil dating of ' all fun and games'. Even heroes who had the taste for bad girls have suffered from this...and to some its part of the what 'attracts' to the bad crowd.

But they have a bad habit of forgetting what will happen if you don't love them...and how they don't care because it doesn't matter in the end once they are finished with you either way.

so go on right ahead. Hit on those evil pirate ladies. If they kidnap you for a 'date' on their pirate ship for a journey don't come crying to the Genie.

And if you think dating the good girl will make you safe?

Say remember what i mentioned about those stories of epic romance and adventure? Not to mention why the FUCK can't you seal the deal or display your romantic/sexual interest correctly?

hahaha IF you REALLY wanna play it safe then date a normal girl...for normal dating and relationship, but how can someone like her POSSIBLY survive the trouble you get in?

MuwahahhahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHA.

>>
Hey Genie how do ya feel about the idea of an Xcom/Brood War game? high Turn over, little bit a character development here and there, changes in tech and a chance to show the madness going on
>>
Rolled 13 (1d100)

>>1733061
Brood War and Xcom aren't a good mix. Simply because Brood specializes in biotech and tech that is based upon brood biotech has some very severe side effects.

There is also the penalty to using alien tech even if its reverse engineered because humans by our very nature are human...and the things that developed alien tech have alien minds. So using their understanding leads to some penalties being involved.

On the plus side you get access to certain techs sooner. On the downside there are...side effects. As consequence to relying upon alien understanding.

Now an Xcom game without focusing upon Brood is entirely doable. though the players are gonna weep bitter tears the moment they get their hands on Combine tech due to how amazing it is...but also how absurdly complicated they make it. Like not even the fucking Republic has an easy time reverse engineering their technology and god help you when you even need to fix one. Even their fucking creators has problems with that one.

Tears will be shed when they get a hold of republic tech. Either due to sadness and disappointment when they get a hold of their basic tech or happiness at getting the tech they reserve for their elite special forces.

Also fighting either alien groups will be a nightmare but for very different reasons.

So hey if anons want an Xcom style game I can do that. Only question will be if your gonna be planetary government sponsored like typical Xcom or your own private organization.

>>1732288
They are the exception anon and not the rule.

>>1732018
There is a very thin line between Gigilo and boy toy but it does exist. Mostly think of it like...the difference between someone you 'date for fun' and someone you just outright pay for sex.

A thin line yes i know but there is one.

Another way to look at it is like this.

Boy Toys NEVER pay for dates.

and...

Gigilos NEVER pay for sex.
>>
Rolled 56 (1d100)

>>1734833
So wait why was Xcom brought up? Is due to the fact that the Genie could actually pull of Xcom level difficulty or something?

Hell could even do a fantasy Xcom though I am not sure how to do that without splicing Monster Hunter into it due to the lack of tech or go magic heavy instead.
Anyway still no consensus?

Sorry I brought up Xcom because I was playin it with the long war mod. I remember I always wished there was a mod that turned Xcom into a guild or something, big threat of some demon warlord or necromancer uprising or Druids tryin to wake gaia as the big bad, a bunch of minor quests along the way...ah good times

But yeah Consensus is up in the air

After the fact I know we said gigolo for the back story. So my bad for miss remembering when I typed that.

---

Gigolos
a young man paid or financially supported by an older woman to be her escort or lover.

Boy toy
a young man who offers himself as a sex object.

Not sure why a boy toy would pay in general and Gigolos would be payed for the transaction. Likely I'm miss understanding something. Unless you mean Boy toys are not there for the social like Gigolos are.

I understand that. Tho I may have presumed to much. After all the normal people in this colony have been though a lot lately. I assumed they gained a lot of experience out here. Grinding up to a higher slandered than regular people. Like a nicer way of doing what the Bandit lord did in the corp civ. Grinding out the weak to leave the strong.

Even then I know it's unlikely a lot of people could handle what we need. I just think we have better odds. Good enough to keep trying at least. If we are lucky first waifu will become best waifu viva a hero spark.

Ultimately I just didn't want you laughing at normal people.

Yeah, because rust and me want to go at it from different angles.

>>1730129
Rust wishes to wait till someone ask.

>>1730026
I want to ask.

>>1734957
You can help. Just throw out ideas or give judgment on the few out.

It's not life and death turns, just yet. We are still keeping the pirates happy, but we are broke and someone took our product. We are a social beast and can likely ask for peoples' newborns with out problems. They would probably even give it will a smile. Since we are a okay guy and a lovable trouble maker.
>>
>>1735007
I more view it as to using our charm to lead them to a question which we then give the prepped response. Its even easier to manipulate people when they think its their idea.
>>
Rolled 99 (1d100)

>>1735028
I don't believe it's best to manipulate pirates. We are a good hero (I hope) and known to feed loads of pirates. I feel it's best to just be straight with them. Ask of help like people in trouble do and not wait much more.

No need to manipulate, possible, friends. Especially because not all Pirates are evil in this era. People will help people they like without need to twist things.

Same IDs. If I really wanted to I could call same faggotry.

Really all I need is a goddamned tiebreaker or someone to switch over and normally I don't endorse the switching over. As I feel that anons should be able to stick with their original decisions without penalty or duress.

There is always coin flip.

Tho the biggest problem is just Rust and me being the only real active players. I don't like the idea of it, but maybe it's time for a new game. See if fresh meat comes.

Which blows because I'm loving it. We got some challenge and shenanigans going on. Problem is we are just sitting around waiting for a third.

>>1739094
>samefaging

>>1739197
I was worried there for a second. Now I see the problem.
>>
>>1739334
Maybe it is time for the new game. As you say tis a shame but if it gets the new blood flowing and such i'd be ok with it.

>>1739475
If this game is slow, I would not mind a new game or continuing this one. This one looks like it has a lot of love and care by Genie and he made an effort to put interesting characters.

>>1735044
>>1730026
Sure, support.

>>1739919
What are you thoughts on his quest, Fallout?
>>
>>1739923
I have been an avid genie follower since the very first game in '12 I think. Memor quest it was. I used to pay attention to them all, but in the last year school and irl detracted my attention.

Genie can bring a fun game, and a long one he's dedicated, but I didn't latch onto this quest since the start and getting into the hang is harder for me than most. I am fully in support if Genie though
>>
>>1739475
Indeed.
I'll be there as well.

>>1739917
Cool. Glad to see ya back.
>>
Rolled 87 (1d100)

So...another dead quest then huh?

Fuck I don't even know why I bother anymore. I can live with it being slow but dead...no point in trying to run a dead quest.

and there aren't even enough anons to fucking vote for a new quest type unless I also vote.

...fine here are the options.

>X-COM Based
Not X-COM quest per a say...just different universe and similar style.
>The Brood War
>Sci Fi adventure
>Fantasy Commander
>Other?
>>
>>1741966
One day Genie I think I'll have the time to archive binge this, and maybe revive it.

I can really tell you put effort into this and it looks fun

>The Brood War
Question on this. Which brood war is that?
Can we be a Brood prince whose eyes are set on a certain Rizal?
>>
>>1741966
Also Genie do you think you could run this setting:

Have you watched the pirates of the Carribean movie? I really liked how Cutler Beckett always made an effort to strengthen the East India company through the use of magic. Stealing Davy Jones' heart, using the magic compass, searching for the nine pieces of eight.

Could you host a setting in a naval fantasy 1800s where we can play as different empires or even pirates?

Maybe don't let us vote. Pick what you want and see how that goes. ( I believe that's how that monster quest started.)

---

There's many quest I want to get back to. Like Necro-ninja, One piece, monster evolve and maybe even a redo for HAX quest. Yet this is for the chance to gain more players.

I'm not the most tactic of the players, but I do like X-COM. Mainly the style of fighting the unknown. Having to try new things, take risks to find weaknesses, and so on. Hm it would be likely to have high deaths. Maybe it will be a good warm up to the brood war,
>>
>>1742095
How true to setting was one piece quest?

I sort of am intrigued by the idea of playing the Marines. Something appeals to me about playing desperate imperialists struggling to maintain supremacy against hordes of pirates and brigands
>>
>>1742125
Don't know for sure. We didn't get very far. I believe there were some Genie style add-ons. Since Genie didn't want to full ripoff One piece. Funny thing was we were playing a heavy charisma hero in it as well.
>>
Rolled 86 (1d100)

>>1741981
I put effort into every quest and civ game anon. If I didn't how could things be so vibrant and feel so alive?

There is only 1 Brood War. Which was when the Brood decided to wage genocide against humanity. The other war you may be thinking of is the Brood Civil War as the humans caused it which officially ended the Genocidal Brood War as the aliens turned on each other.

>>1742005
I got two versions available for that exact thing.

Sci Fi era where magic/psi is discovered.

OR

Historic Fantasy as you stated.

>>1742125
Eh not very.

Rolled 40 (1d100)

1 vote for Genie X-Com.

If it ends up another tie I'll throw a tiebreaker vote but only then. Once there is consensus I will prep the new thread/quest.

Put this as my vote.

Pistols, power, swords, and empires!

I post from a phone so sometimes my ID changes.

Historical Fantasy has won. Currently planning out the intro.

Timeline speaking...anons are in a very...awkward time. The time that officially marks the transition into Sci Fi era and the beginning of the great Fall of the Old World Powers. Luckily the game wont last long enough to get into the Great Wars of Old and New.

The Intro will naturally determine if your going to end up a pirate, working for a company, explorer, in the navy ect. You wont get stuck in just one of them but in the beginning it determines how you start out.
