Stage 161: Water, Stone, Void, and Fire.

If it was all her own doing, you wouldn't hesitate to deal with Hebiki Naoto in the most expedient manner possible.

Well, you would, you just probably wouldn't feel as bad when she forced the issue.

With the spirit-child friendly restaurant near the top of one of the more expensive malls in Shibuya cleared out by the diners, only you, Er Yin-sensei, and Kiku-chan remain. Except for one other spirit child. Hebiki Rishi Is struggling under the vice-like grip of Akari-niji-chan's elder sister (actual elder sister, not merely clan-related!). Not struggling to escape, but to maintain her tenuous grip on her poise. A second of weakness, or the tiniest threat, and Nabiki will kill her and then turn on you....and anyone else nearby.

It isn't merely that she's a cruel and wicked person – she is both, you are more than pretty certain – but that her wani-infused blood makes her prone to berserk fits of rage. Akari has the same traits, and relies on you to help her control herself when she might do something dangerous. To others, not herself, of course. And naturally, because the universe must conspire to make your life difficult at any time you are thoroughly enjoying yourself, Naoto-onee-san just happens to be the same kind of elemental force as Akari: Stone.

Some ten feet away, Naoto has her nails driven into Rishi's shoulder, and Rishi's blood is staining her jacket; the normally chcolate eyes of the elder dragonette are jet black, her wani nature almost entirely in control, and you suspect that Oba-san is behind this particular bit of nastiness. Not that it took much, because Water eyes showed you the kind of person Naoto really is. Mostly a control freak who likes being in control and in charge. You took a good portion of that away from her when you immediately accepted her clan's offer to foster Rishi-chan with yours for training purposes. Whether or not she's a spy, plant, or trap....she's more of a dykish sort than a trappish short....cute, but hot tempered, like your favorite Fire Dragonette....smart though. Easily embarrassed and definitely in need of training....

Anyways!

While Kiku-chan's offer to train her hasn't quite gotten through the enraged dragonette's head, Er Yin's wariness about letting the thoroughly predatory woman approach any closer has paid off. She can't make a sudden and overwhelming assault without discarding Rishi, but you're pretty certain if she loses it, she's going to kill Rishi, then try and eat you. Probably alive and screaming. Her teeth are unnaturally sharp, even for a dragonette, and your own element is weak to hers. You just need her to let go of Rishi for an instant, and Kiki-chan could save her. Or she could try and escape herself, but you honestly don't trust her skills that far. Still, with the open air dining, all she really needs is to hurl herself over the retaining wall; she may not be able to fly with her shoulder injured, but she could still use her wings to glide.

Er Yin remains alert, steady, one hand on your shoulder, but tail high and swaying slowly. She might be able to help Naoto, but both she and Kiku are in agreement with you: Rishi comes first. Now, whether or not Naoto survives that....that is a much different and much trickier matter.

[] Talking her down may still work; she isn't mindlessly enraged yet, just utterly enraged.
[] You know she is really interested in you....time to use that supposed sex appeal of yours.
[] You have hair pins. You're Deadly. See if you can make her let go of Rishi.
[] Rishi isn't stupid – and she's incredibly brave. Time to see how smart and brave she is.
[] Kiku-chan and Er Yin-sensei have the means to deal with her; try and coordinate.

Hi XS! How are things for you?

>>1715645

Alright, guys, I have a plan

>[] Talking her down may still work; she isn't mindlessly enraged yet, just utterly enraged.
>[] You know she is really interested in you....time to use that supposed sex appeal of yours.

>Sincerely and politely apologize for the utterly rude way she was treated in this affair between us, her Clan, Rishi and Oba-shit. She might be a wicked, cruel person, but she is still Rishi's teacher, and she should have been consulted in the decision regarding her, and not treated like a delivery boy unconcerned by the issue. Be as polite as and as apologetic as appropriate, without risking to anger her further.

She's that angry because she's been insulted, and probably Oba-shit had an hand in that fury.

>Also apologize to Rishi for getting her hurt like that.

Ryukusa choose the red robe, and she knows when to apologize for a wrong, even if she's only tangentially responsible.

Beside, Hebiki really, really like dominance over others, so Ryukusa showing deference would make her less angry by a good margin.
>>
>>1715695

I mean, imagine how Ryukusa would have felt if she'd have been told one of her students was to be sent to another Clan without her having any say in the matter.

Sure, Ryukusa and Hebiki would be furious for basically totally different reasons, but still.
>>
>>1715725

Also, we've been polite and humble with Enma-oh. Who is a much bigger abusive jerk than Hebiki.

Probably, at least.
Just hoping it wasn't too late to get in.

Not many people tonight, uh

[XXX] You know she is really interested in you....time to use that supposed sex appeal of yours.

[X] Talking her down may still work; she isn't mindlessly enraged yet, just utterly enraged.
[+] Apologize. Be the better dragonette.

You gesture to Kiku-chan, warning her not to panic or do anything rash. Er Yin-sensei receives a similar message when you caress the hand she has on your shoulder, though hers is a little more like “doing something stupid, it's all good”. Rishi watches you with wide, agonized and not a little frightened eyes, so you smile reassuringly, careful not to even suggest that you have anything like teeth in your head. You flick your fingers and she catches the movement. She does as she's told – she breathes, slow, deep, calming breaths, trusting in you to help her. To protect her. To be her oyabun.

With that you slowly walk forward, with all the grace and stately elegance you, as one of the kami's most perfectly graceful creations, can possibly muster.

It would be nice if you could actually tell if Naoto was watching you because you look gorgeous, or if she was looking at you because she wants to eat you. All Water Eyes will tell you at this point is that she's in a violent rage.

Still, you manage to move two paces closer to she and Rishi-chan, and not get attacked. You lower your head and then slowly salute Naoto, careful not to make it too martial or not martial enough. Respectful of her power, yet slow, sure and perfectly practiced. Tai Chi Chuan levels of slowness, White Crane Fist level of humble, and Snake Style level of elegance. “Hebiki Naoto....” you murmur softly as you keep yourself lowered in that salute, head down, eyes closed. The tension in your lovers is through the ceiling, while Rishi is terrified and Naoto....Naoto is confused.

Good, good.

“....please forgive this foolish and ignorant lizard for her inappropriate and ill thought out words. She has neglected to consider your feelings on this matter, and humbly asks your forgiveness for her temerity in implying that Hebiki Rishi's place is not under the firm and gentle hand that has so very carefully guided her before this point.” You rise slowly, and straighten, though you keep your head down and eyes closed.

This, unfortunately, is the tricky part.

The problem with bowing when one is an over-trained martial artist, especially dealing with an equally over-trained martial artist, is the eyes. In theory, it would be respectful to keep your eyes on your opponent, because one does not look away from a threat. However, in asking for forgiveness, it would be humble and appropriate to avert the eyes, keeping them closed to offer the back of one's neck to the one you are asking forgiveness from. On the other hand, this is effectively a wild animal. Hiding your face from a predator means you are allowing it the opportunity to attack. Cats and dragonettes are very similar in that behavior, and you're fairly certain it's many times worse in a wani, even if she isn't full blooded wani. Despite that, she is also a Stone dragonette, and in her current confused state she might actually be thinking rationally, if not reasonably. And while it galls you something fierce to admit it, this time you might have to go even further, and kowtow, ignoring every instinct that says you mustn't.

Not for the sake of Naoto's forgiveness, no. but for Rishi's sake, you would do this. Because she is an innocent, and in pain, and needs your help.

It's a very dangerous place you find yourself in, and one without precedent in your experience so far. The only one that comes close is dealing with poor Melinda, and that ended very badly for her.

[] eyes up – she deserves that level of respect, and you can bow low.
[] eyes averted – trust in ritual and tradition to protect you.
[] face Naoto – a humble salute rather than a bow, eyes closed but face up.
[] face down, eyes open – trust in your experience with Akari to guide you.
[] kowtow – the ultimate abasement, but for the sake of an innocent in danger....

In the end she'll either end up Ryukusa's victim or freed of Oba-san's yoke anyway. In both situations this is but a minor footnote in their relationship. And our spectators are family and the beneficiary of this approach anyway so should hardly cause trouble.

She's too prideful and wicked to accept a lesser bow, she's too angry to recognise the respect of looking her in the eyes, and she's too different from Akari for our experience to help here.

Plus she's really big on domination, so if anything it'll make her release Rishi

[XX] face down, eyes open – trust in your experience with Akari to guide you.
[XX] kowtow – the ultimate abasement, but for the sake of an innocent in danger....
[+] Be polite....but be wary. Just like Water dragonette etiquette, right?

It's perhaps not exactly true that you haven't dealt with this sort of thing before. Akari-niji-chan was still much stronger than you, despite being your kohai. She was slow to rouse to anger, but when she became angry, there was little that could hold her back except pain. But more than pain, it was your hand causing her pain that did it. Her awareness of you and your desire to stop her from doing harm pulled her from that weird, deadly head-space.

Causing Naoto pain isn't the answer, you're fairly sure in this instance. But just because she's angry and unreasonable doesn't mean she's stopped thinking entirely. Perhaps midway between a bow and kowtow is something you can manage. It will still demonstrate respect and apology, but it won't put you in the utterly submissive position. Which would probably shock just about anyone who knew what you were into clarity, for sure, but Naoto might not care.

Be calm, Er yin-sensei, Kiku-chan. I have to do this, so don't panic .

You take a half step backwards and lower your head, eyes still open. Falling to one knee, you then move your other leg into a parallel position, kneeling before Hebiki Naoto. All eyes are on you now, and one pair is filled with hope and wonder that you would do this on her behalf. You spread your hands wide – slowly, very slowly – and lower your head just a bit further, eyes open and expression calm. “Please accept this idiot lizard's heartfelt apologies, Hebiki Naoto. She does not wish to cause you this trouble, but does so because to refuse this honor would bring shame to her clan.”

Rishi-chan stiffens, but because Naoto's nails are coming out, not digging deeper.

Why?!

You glance up, but don't turn your head up. “Sorry?”

Why would you do this? You're the head of your clan!” Her claws are exposed, no longer buried in Rishi's clothing or shoulder. The red stain spreads slowly, partly due to Rishi's calmer state of mind.

You shake her head, closing your eyes. “Because I am the head of my clan, Naoto-sama. If falls on me to make the apology because if it is my clan that is at fault, it is my responsibility to fix it. I would not cause you this pain but if I must, then I must apologize.” Looking up at her, you can see her eyes are dark, but you can see the whites of her sclera now. “We will train her as best we can, building upon the foundation you have made for us, and she will be the better for what she has learned from you. I have no doubt she will learn a small amount from us.”

“Tsk. Fine. She is to keep us updated on how her training progresses. Our oyabun will be expecting letters.” She gestures and Rishi walks steadily and slowly to Kiku-chan, while Naoto looks down at you. “This isn't even worth mentioning,” she says as she turns around and stalks angrily into the restaurant.

You rise and Er yin steps up behind you and places her hand on your shoulder. Rishi stands before Kiku, looking down at her bright golden eyes, and trembling. Only when she hears the 'please come again' sing-song of the hostess does she fall heavily to her knees, her left hand putting as much pressure as she can on the claw holes in her jacket.

“Let me see, Rishi-san,” your priestess demands firmly, but with surprising kindness. You're far too used to her irascible temper, just maybe. She peels back the jacket as you sigh and tap your forehead with your right hand finger....ah, talon-tips.

“That was very....unexpected of you, Ryukusa-sama,” Er Yin murmurs softly.

[+] Consider the situation I put myself and Rishi in, Er Yin-sensei....

“If Rishi-chan hadn't been in the grip of death, I would have made short work of the whole situation. Someone like that should never be teaching, even in that situation.” Tilting your head you rest your cheek on her cool talons. She turns her hand, sliding the thick silver talons into your hair, threatening to loose it from the needles and comb. “And by someone, I mean Naoto, and by short work, I also mean Naoto.”

“Backsliding a little, perhaps Ryukusa-sama?” murmurs Er Yin-sensei with amusement.

Rishi hisses in pain as Kiku-chan applies some salve to her shoulder and back.

“Not really,” you murmur softly, looking over at Rishi. “I am thinking that Rishi-chan will be staying for prolonged training.”

“I can't,” Rishi-chan murmurs with a shrug, which immediately elicits a pained noise from her. Kiku-chan looks at her sympathetically and applies another layer of bandages. You're almost envious, but you get to see a much more interesting side of her, so you don't say anything. “Hebe Clan doesn't allow their members to remain outside the clan for too long, and they definitely can't marry or stay with their husband....unless they want to give up their children to the clan.”

“And yet Akari-niji-san remains with me.” She looks at Kiku-chan and mouths the usual question. Kiku-chan shakes her head. “Anyways, if thoughts of homicide were criminal, I'd have so much accumulated bad karma Buddha himself wouldn't be able to clear it.”

“That's not how that works, idiot lizard,” Kiku-chan informs you with a more properly brusque attitude which earns her a shocked look from Rishi.

“Well, my practical experience is in the wrong direction in any case. Besides, I screwed up, so I had to fix it. At least she accepted the apology.” Rishi-chan looks guilty. Er Yin smiles knowingly feeling you tense. “No, Rishi-chan, it wasn't your fault. I accepted the responsibility of you, and then almost got you killed. Even if Oba-chan spiritually poisoned her, the results were too close for comfort. Speaking of which, Kiku-chan....”

“No, the wounds were clean. There wasn't any normal poison in them either, which is surprising.” Kiku-chan finishes bandaging the young dragonette's shoulder and helps her up gently. “You would have warned me otherwise, I assume.”

'You assume correctly.” Rishi looks at you, even more surprised. “What, do you not have Water dragonnes and dragonettes in your clan?”

“....not as such, no,” she replies, blushing hot enough to potentially melt butter. Maybe really soft cheese. You consider it for a moment, then nod. You pull out your cell phone and hit the quick dial – after turning it back on. “We really should get out of here; it was pretty much luck and the huge camera bank in the lobby area of the mall that gave us away. Mostly the cameras.”

“She absolutely cannot fly, Ryukusa!” interjects Kiku sharply.

You nod and Er Yin strokes your hair softly. “I'm calling Shoko. She can take Rishi-chan to our home.” Mollified, your fiery priestess relaxes and sits down. Rishi looks confused and starts to unfurl her wings. Kiku's eyes shoot open and they burn so hot the other Fire dragonette takes a step back and furls her wings quickly, wincing. “You don't want to antagonize your doctor, Rishi,” You warn her unnecessarily as she settles back down.

“Uh....yeah,” she agrees wholeheartedly.

“Besides, you wouldn't be able to get in without a key, and I can't spare any.” You speak in hushed tones to Shoko and she agrees to be there shortly. You hang up and look at Rishi. “My apology was sincere you know. I would have felt similarly, I just would have expressed it differently. But my first priority was your safety. Never forget that.” Rishi nods as Shoko flies a cloud towards the restaurant.

....Later....

With Rishi-chan safely in Shoko's protective custody (and it occurs to you that if anyone could talk a wani-blooded dragonette down, it would indeed be Shoko-san) you and your loved ones are free to continue your only slightly interrupted date.

[] Time to go to Love Hill for real!
[] You need to visit one last shop.
[] Try and steal the control for Kiku-chan's toy on your way out.
[] Ask Er Yin if there is anything she needs or wants – yourself included.
[] Last bit of freedom for Kiku-chan to chose something – she will be all tied up later.

I'm looking forward to getting to know our new student
She seemed surprisingly nonplussed by this situation really, given the danger and how unusual Ryukusa and her family are
>>
>>1716247
Sorry I'm late, good job on defusing the situation everyone and congratulations on a three year anniversary of running this quest XS!

I don't think there's anything we originally meant to buy but haven't, unless we weren't able to successfully commission collars from Naya.
>>
>>1716307
I'm sure Nayaya has our back!
I also think anons could constantly come up with something new to stop for, and that we should probably get on with the date and leave that for some later time if at all.

[XXX] Time to go to Love Hill for real!
[XXX] Try and steal the control for Kiku-chan's toy on your way out.

With a little more wine in you and some freshly brewed tea for Kiku-chan, you take a few more moments of peace and quiet. Naturally you apologize to the restaurant owner, who seems to take the situation in stride, mostly because he is a Stone dragonne and a little more laid back than most other sorts might be. You do leave a card for him to show anyone who has any inclination to cause his business trouble, particularly of the sort that you encountered at the toy store.

You lean on the table with one elbow, entirely rudely, and lean close to Er Yin-sensei. “Tell me, Gin-Gin, would you like to stop anywhere else this evening before we go to the hotel? I should probably apologize for the delay, but it is something we must take in stride, after all.” Running your fingers along her thigh under the table, you studiously ignore the golden eyes watching you from the side.

With a smile and a faints flush to her cheeks – lovely! – Er Yin considers the question quite seriously. “Well, I will have the two things I desire most for this outing, Ryukusa-sama, so I can honestly say there is nothing more that I would desire than this. That you should attract unwanted attention is to be expected, though, and you should not concern yourself over it.” Kiku-chan narrows her eyes but says nothing....only to stiffen and make a soft, shocked noise deep in her throat.

Er Yin smiles and tilts her head. “Though this is possibly one of the most useful things I have ever owned in my life.”

You glance over at Kiku-chan who is shivering and gripping her teacup so tightly the poor thing is on the verge of shattering. On the other hand, Fire does generate stone, so it is entirely likely she would just make it stronger. The tea, however, is a total loss within seconds, since it boils away quite rapidly.

So very glad I could help,” you murmur, watching Kiku-chan struggle against the urge to move or make noise, per perhaps both. You reach over and caress her horn, a soft hissing noise erupting from it as it boils away the water you create between it and your skin. She opens her mouth and makes a soft, breathy noise, a cross between a sight and a gasp. “How long have you kept her on the edge before, Sensei?”

Kiku suddenly relaxes, quivering faintly as she recovers from what must have been some very intense sensations. “Oh, a few hours. But with this I think I can manage a day....maybe two.”

“Master,” Kiku-chan whispers plaintively, protesting the threat.

“Or three.” Kiku-chan clamps her mouth shut.

Drawing your fingers along Er Yin's thigh, you switch sides, leaning over to Kiku-chan. With a slow, sensual glide of your hand over her faintly swollen belly, you whisper softly. “I will do you a favor, and not tell your sister about this.” Her golden eyes widen and she murmurs a soft thank you as Er Yin stands up, ready to leave.

Following suit, you pay for the dinner, and lead Er Yin out of the restaurant, your eyes checking the ambush spots and escape routes immediately. Even as angry as she was, you doubt Naoto would remain behind to exact revenge, but better safe than sorry seems woefully underwhelming for the threat she represents. If it were just you that would be one thing, but it isn't, and Kiku doesn't need to get into close combat with a Stone dragonette, her amazing speed aside.

The walk is pleasant, the afternoon still warm and with plenty of time to spend before the play. You wouldn't miss the debut performance for the world, and you have a strong suspicion that there will be a set of tickets waiting for you at the theater. The discussion of what training Rishi-chan will undergo is tabled; tonight is date night, and all that matters is the date. With that, you confine your topics of discussion to the world around you, the sounds, smells, and surfaces that are within reach. You do discover something important though: Er Yin, despite – or perhaps – because of her affinity with Metal, has to take pains to avoid touching brass and bronze (she deforms those metals with the slightest touch) and mercury (which adheres to her metallic scales and makes her quite ill).

Finally you reach the hotel you have had in mind. This particular one caters to spirit-childen, and more importantly....the suite has a bath.

[] Bathing first!
[] Sit, relax, share a few more drinks, and feed Kiku-chan chocolates. Or nails. Maybe rivets.
[] Have Er Yin-sensei sit down, and start by giving her a how such as only you could manage.
[] See how wild you can drive Kiku-chan without violating Er Yin's order....
[] ….Ask Er Yin if you may have the privilege of undressing her, regardless of what happens next.

Undressing her? Why would we do that?

Those clothes were specially tailored for maximum Mistress-ness

Adding to my vote here >>1716467

>Make the show pleasant for Kiku too, of course
>>
>>1716467
I'm sure Er Yin can mistress expertly with any number of garments on her body!
>>
Given we are wearing such nice clothes for this, should we have fun first and then retreat to the baths for bonus round afterwards? My first instinct was foreplay->cleaning->sex, but that'd be a bit inconvenient if anons want the kinky outfits on during the act (which makes sense). Of course, we should have plenty of time so it wouldn't be prohibitively so either.
>>
>>1716467
I figured that if we're gonna be cleaned up first she might have to get undressed.
>>
So, I've just come back from watching the Valerian movie.

My god, it was embarrassing.

That's a pity. Well, I don't really go to movies these days, but still.

Didn't take the opportunity to vote from your seat instead then anon?

With much regret I must drive my friend to the lab for tests. I will, however, return to make the last post a little later today, so you will have the opportunity to read it in an hour and a half or so.

Thank you for your forbearance. Taking care of sick pets is difficult.

Ryukusa is in for a bit of a surprise.
>>
>>1716526
That's okay XS, it's not far from normal stopping time anyway! Good luck to your friend.
>>
>>1716503

I did during the pause.

>>1716496

If only.

Credits where credits are due, the opening scene is amazing. And there are a couple of good scenes here and there in the thing.

But damn, the movies goes downwhile whenever the two leads are on screen.

The plot doesn't make any sense and goes on weird tangents, the protagonists are colossal jerks, the way the aliens are portrayed is mostly disastrous (there is a few exceptions, but those who are featured the most are... damn, just damn), and the climax of the story only happens because the heroes just let it happen.

Also, people say that the movie is visually great, but while I can say that the design choices are mostly well done (with some horrible, horrible stuff thrown in), the CGI is... pretty poor.
>>
>>1716526

It's okay, tell your friend/pet I wish them the best.

Thanks for running!

Ryukusa's getting dommed?
>>
Thanks for running for now then
>>
>>1716526
Thanks for letting us know, and it sucks that your friend/pet is doing so poorly but it's nice to read you doing so much for her, you're a good friend/owner.
>>
>>1716526
Not gong to make it I'll later so, thanks for running XS. Glad we managed to save our new recruit.
>>
It makes me kinda sad that nobody can get Ryukuza pregnant.
>>
>>1716617
Well, no *mortal* can. Bet you an actual god/goddess could, but in this case it'd have to be Ameratsu herself, directly.
>>
>>1716617

I'm sure we'll figure something out! Although that said, these are not the most convenient times for it.

Thats the secret bonus for managing to get a good end to the quest without invoking Inari.

So, XS, how did you think we would solve the situation with Naoto?

[X] Bathing first!
[X] ….Ask Er Yin if you may have the privilege of undressing her, regardless of what happens next.
[XX] Have Er Yin-sensei sit down, and start by giving her a how such as only you could manage.

As always, the young woman at the desk is polite, well mannered, and completely oblivious to the age, sex, and appearances of those who check in. Her cute voice, like so many, is a result of her attempting to increase the pitch so she has a girlish, high tone to her speech. Her outfit is an odd cross between maid and business outfit, which seems to be all the rage at the moment. After requesting your identification, which she barely glances at, she tells you the legal disclaimers, and then gives you the key to your suite, as well as directions.

Just like the other times you've been here.

Kiku watches your interaction wordlessly, but she doesn't hide her judgmental look. You shrug mildly. “No Clan Ryo warrior would be caught dead in this place, and no Yakuza thug is going to start trouble in here. No one bats an eye at two girls showing up, even if they're underage. Especially if they're underage. It's a nice little getaway for two people just looking to relax and take a bath after school and before going home.”

Kiku-chan relaxes at your explanation, because not only is it true, she's done similar things.

“Chisato?” inquires Er Yin lightly, and without judgment on her part.

“Mhn. Sometimes Umetsume. Like I said, a place to be without being home or school. Nothing ever happened. I was pretty dense back then, really.” Even though you and Ume-chan both liked lilies, you weren't interested in each other. You didn't really have much in the way of time or effort to expend your energies on a crush of any sort, to say nothing of what trouble that might land said crush in.

Reaching your suite, you open up the double doors to the sumptuous, perhaps even overdone master suite in the near-center of the love hotel. No windows of course, and the mirrors are actually mirrors – you pay extra for the privacy and lack of cameras. Er Yin nearly stumbles on the deep plush of the carpeting, and you pause, letting her get used to the depth and heaviness of the soft rug. Kiku-chan makes soft 'oooh' sounds as she explores the heavy draperies, the cabinetry, the small but well stocked wet-and-soda bar (they even made sure they had melon Ramune for you, the darlings).

Leading Er Yin to the bed, you lean over and slowly slide your hands over the smooth, slick-feeling material. “May I assist you in getting undressed, Sensei?” you purr warmly.

“No,” she replies with a smile, interrupting your gentle touch with her tail slowly lifting your hands from her as she leans back in the bed lightly.

“No?” you ask, moderately surprised.

“No. You are going to undress my Hougyoku-chan, and bathe her, and then you are going to spank her, while I play with her hair and pet her.” Kiku-chan's hair explodes into flaming alarm. “And if you do not, well....” She reaches for the control and then blinks. “I could not have dropped it, sure one of us would have heard.”

You turn it on high, and Kiku-chan yelps as she goes to her knees, the intensity too much for her. You dial it back slowly, and she shudders, making a high pitched keening noise, the one she makes when she's desperately overstimulated.

“Definitely have to get two of these,” you murmur, smiling as Er Yin sighs in the manner of one who is used to long suffering.

“Ryukusa,” murmurs Er Yin flatly.

You look at her, all innocence and smiles.

“Come here, please.”

“....and if I don't?”

Er Yin smiles sweetly. “I will have Kiku-chan make you.”

….well, if that isn't a challenge....

>To Be Continued....

Well something sent her to emergency. Dehydration happened to me like that once too, collapsed in the store.
>>
>>1719028
She collapsed the day before. Didn't think anything of it at the time (she didn't, I was alarmed). But after we went to the lab,she started showing signs of heat stroke even though she hadn't been in the heat. Made the ER into an immediate trip.

We live on different timetables, so sometimes I don't catch those things. This time, all turned out well. We'll be working on a dietary plan for her tomorrow.
