You stay in the hospital is surprisingly short. You suppose you HAD been asleep for most of it, but two days seems like a very short time to recover from your ordeal. On the other hand, you did feel fine, and most of the issue was flushing your system of whatever they had used to knock you out. Most of your injuries were superficial, except for a dislocated shoulder, and you’re pretty sure you can remember how you had gotten it. A twenty-five-foot drop onto concrete was a rough landing if you aren’t expecting it, even with aura. It’s a miracle you walked away without something more serious.

You’ve been prescribed rest, and with the break between semesters officially beginning during your stay, you’ll have plenty of time for it. Weiss floats the idea of taking you to a therapist, but you shoot the idea down. You don’t need a therapist. You’re seventeen. Of course, that isn’t the only idea Weiss has on how to spend your time.

“How about the beach?” It took a few conversations with Yang and Ruby to understand, but when people in Vale (or basically anywhere south of Atlas) say “the beach,” they’re really talking about an open air stadium made to LOOK like a beach. No one goes to the coasts with Grimm in the oceans. It had all of the essentials, though. Water and sand, but you were mostly worried about…

“Really? Weiss Schnee wants to spend the day baking under the Valish sun?” The Atlesians of your massive group had gotten used to the constant muggy air of Vale, but the idea of willingly subjecting yourself to hours beneath this sun frightens you, and you know Weiss. She’s got less of a heat tolerance than you do. She hesitates for a moment before offering a weak excuse.

“I was going to, uh… Try tanning. Blake said lots of girls in the South do it.” You hum and poke a hole in her reasoning. “You don’t talk to Blake,” you point out. “Then it must have been Yang!” Weiss shouts, tossing her hands into the air in frustration. “Look, can we just go to the beach?!”

>A) Well, your last outing ended in disaster, but you don’t remember stopping any other crime bosses. It should be fine. “Sure, I guess.”
>B) She seems really insistent for some reason. “Weiss, is everything okay?”
>C) No way. The last time you tried to wind down, you had to crawl through a ventilation shaft half-naked. “You go ahead, I’ll stay here.”

Weiss HATED this heat. She would never drag you to the beach, of all places, just to have fun. Certainly not for the express intent of exposing herself to the sun. Something else is happening here. “Weiss, is everything okay?” you ask. You’re mindful to keep your voice gentle and calm. If Weiss is worried about something, it’s your mental state. You can’t let her think she has a reason to be concerned. She swallows a lump in her throat and mutters, “Uh… Yeah, everything’s fine…”

“I know you too well, Weiss. Why are you lying to me?” You can see her begin to sweat and shiver as she crosses her arms and looks away. What had you stumbled into to make her so worried?! “Because, I, um…” That was it. Your sister may stumble, she may hesitate, but one thing Weiss does NOT do is stutter. You cross the space between you and pull your twin into a deep and firm hug. “Weiss. You can trust me.”

She gently pushes herself off of you, and you can see the terror in her eyes as she looks up at you. Weiss grimaces, her lips pull back in an attempt to tell you the truth, but something hitches. Her eyes dart to the side, and she blurts the words you’ve been dreading for most of your life, “Well, there’s this guy…”

You take a big step back and leave Weiss clutching the air. “What?!” She flinches at the volume, but she continues. “There was a… Southern guys don’t like pale girls?” Weiss speaks in a halting pattern, and she wears an expression of distaste. “I think I read it in a magazine…”

“You HATE those rags!” Weiss clasps one arm with her free hand and shrugs, “I know, but… Nothing else has been working. Maybe it’s that?” You force your mouth shut from its hanging state and ask, “Wait, then why invite me?”

“Because we can still have fun! We can even invite everyone if you want. Make a day out of it. Please?” It had been some time since Weiss had begged you for anything, but she hadn’t lost any of her skill at doing so. You can’t bring yourself to say no. She said please!

>A) Go it alone, just a sibling day out.
>B) Invite the team. Blake may enjoy a day out, and you’re pretty sure Penny had never been to a beach before. Then again, you and Weiss hadn’t either.
>C) Invite RYAL. Ruby and Yang know the place, you hadn’t spent much time with Liquorice, and you want at least one person there who won’t be in a bikini, so Jaune can come too.
>D) Invite CNRP. Ciel needs the day off, Nora is guaranteed to be a barrel of fun, you still need more guy friends, and you’re curious to see how a four-time champion relaxes.

(Feel free to vote for more than one option this time)

The four of you have clear schedules, thankfully, and will for the foreseeable future. You and Weiss aren’t going home until you graduate, Blake insists that the journey home is too dangerous to risk just for a visit, and Penny confides in you that, while the original plan was to have her in Atlas all summer, something had changed the situation and it was deemed safer for her to stay. You’re not sure what would have spooked the Military into defining it as “safer” for her here, but you’ve got no answers forthcoming. You curse your insufficient access. Maybe if you had accepted that job offer from Winter…

No helping it now, you suppose. You’ll just have to do what everyone does when the powers that be get nervous: Keep your head down and try to have some fun. It takes a trip from a Bullhead and a bus to get the entire team to the beach, and when you get there, it’s hard to ignore how many other people are getting there, too. Almost half of the bus steps off with the four of you, and not all of them have had the decency to wait until they got here to put their bathing suit on. Most of those people are… Less than appealing.

The deluge of population doesn’t end at a bus stop, however. A parking deck is stacked ground floor to top with cars. Most of the ones you can see have more than two doors. You worry at the beach being far too crowded, but that’s before you see the massive coliseum. That thing looks like it could eat Beacon and have room for dessert. The awning that folds over the opening even vaguely resembles a gaping, monstrous maw.

You and the rest of the crowd shuffle inside the entrance, and when you allow them to scan your scrolls as proof of your ages (to avoid anyone over 15 taking advantage of child ticket prices), you discover entry is free for Huntsmen and Huntsmen in Training. A nice bonus for all of the work you haven’t technically done yet. Huh. You haven’t been on an ACTUAL mission, now that you think of it. Junior’s arrest had been entirely below board, and you aren’t sure your sister has the authority to conscript trainees the way she did.

The interior makes the most of the space. Even with a building as large as this, the shoreline here can’t hope to reach the sheer scale of most coasts. They’ve compensated by having the sand loop around a large pool of beautiful blue water, where gently rolling waves pulse from the center. The group splits, leaving you on your own as you approach and use the men’s locker room to change into a simple pair of white trunks. The legs don’t quite reach your knees, and you're a little worried about them floating up to show off your thighs. Not letting people see the outline of your butt was the whole reason you preferred trunks.

(CONTINUED)
>>
>>1779907
You step back on the sand with a towel around your neck and look for the girls. You can’t see them. It’s likely they’re still changing, not many other places for them to have hidden. You guess this means you get first pick for the team activity. What are you feeling?

The water looks great and feels better. The lake has been backing under the sun all day long, and the currents have adopted a relaxing temperature that reminds you of Atleasian hot tubs. You still prefer it when the air is colder than the water, but this isn’t a bad second place. You soak for a few moments and dunk your head to get used to the sensation of the water. When you come back up, your teammates are standing on the shore in their swimwear. Blake and Penny are looking away from you with furious blushes on their cheeks. They must not be used to being so exposed around so many people. You and Weiss don’t have that problem, you’ve been on newspapers and gossip rags since you were old enough to leave the house.

Case in point, while both Weiss and Blake have a two piece, only Weiss is standing confidently instead of trying to cover her stomach. “Having fun?” she asks with a raised eyebrow. You splash at her and say as she squeals and takes a step back, “You guys were taking too long!” You laugh as she kicks some water at you in retaliation, but break your laughter with a question, “So, you still just going to tan?”

Blake raises an eyebrow at her and gives her pale skin a quick appraisal, but Weiss doesn’t notice. “Actually, I remember specifically asking us to come together,” she answers, “and that implies we’ll be doing things together.” Weiss doesn’t dive into the water like you did. Rather, she calmly walks forward and sinks into the waves. She has to stop a few feet before she gets to you, though. She can’t go any further without the water beginning to rise to her chin, whereas you can still comfortably stand on the lakebed with your shoulders clearing the surface. It’s good to be the “big” brother.

Blake and Penny hesitate on the water’s edge, and you almost ask what’s wrong before you catch sight of Blake’s bow, still in place despite the complete outfit change. Oh. Right. It might come off if her head goes underwater. Penny has a similar (well, much more dramatic, but still similar) secret, and you aren’t sure she ever told you that her mechanical parts were waterproof. Half your team doesn’t feel like they can join in. That sort of defeats the point, doesn’t it?

>A) Convince them to risk it, subtly. “Come on! We aren’t going to drown you or anything!”
>B) Let them sit it out on the shore, but give them something to watch. “Hey, Weiss. Think I can still hold my breath longer than you?”
>C) Forget it, if it isn’t going to work it isn’t going to work. “Well, I don’t think floating here counts as ‘doing’ something. Penny, Blake, any ideas?”

You turn to give Weiss a quick response. “Well, I don’t think floating here counts as ‘doing’ something. Penny, Blake, any ideas?” you ask, and the two look at each other. There’s a beat or two where it seems the two are having a silent conversation, an exchange of ideas that you yourself had shared with your sister once or twice. It’s a fascinating effect, and one you’re glad to see. Maybe insisting on practicing with just your partners was a good idea. The staring contest is broken by Penny, and she watches you and Weiss crawl out of the sea with pink cheeks. Can robots sunburn?

“How about volleyball?” That sounds good to you. Blake offers no objection, and neither does Weiss. What Blake does have is a question. “What are the teams?”

>A) “We should do partners. You and Penny, me and Weiss.”

Whew, really sorry about the pace today guys. I'm not QUITE sure if I'm free, I'll have to check, but to make it up to you, I'm willing to run tomorrow. If I'm free.

You will have to cut me a little slack though, and let me pick up the rest of your beach trip. We've still got more to go through besides just playing games with the girls.

Sound fair all around?
>>
>>1780736
Sounds fine to me

You and Weiss are set up opposite of your other teammates. You roll your shoulders in an attempt to work the tension out as Penny tosses up to serve. The first hit sails far above you, and only begins to drop when in Weiss’s range. She pops it back into the air and in your direction. It may be early in the game, but you know a spike when you see one. You jump and smash the ball like it owes you money, kicking up sand around the impact and earning yourself and Weiss the first point. It’s a brutal opening, and it sets the tone for the rest of the game.

Volleyball isn’t a contact sport, but if it were, you’d have worried about walking away with broken bones. The power the girls were putting into every hit made your skin sting whenever you came into contact with the ball, and it had never followed that gentle up and down curve after the very first. Now, attempts to score were propelled up by one partner and shot forward by the other in a dizzying display of what trained aura users bring to competitive sports. At one point, the four of you stop using your partners entirely and simply jump and knock the ball away, resulting in a nearly four minute long period where the ball never dips below the top of the net.

Your competition begins to draw a crowd of civilians, some of which had likely never seen Huntsmen at work and how far one could go. There are whistles and cheers at every bump, and you could swear to have seen a few old men exchanging money after a particularly vicious burial delivered by Penny. Despite the ferocity of the competition, it’s obvious that you and Weiss are much more coordinated.

Physically, all of Team SPWB stood on relatively equal footing (save for your longer reach and Penny’s artificial strength and endurance, though it seems she’s holding herself to human standards in the interest of fairness), but the twins dominate through better teamwork. Blake and Penny fail to win a single set, and in one particularly embarrassing example, Penny manages to tackle her unaware teammate into the sand. Blake is still taking a few moments to spit out more of it and brush it out of her hair by the final match, a match ended by Weiss when she delivers a stunning overhead kick to the innocent sphere and sends it careening into dirt beneath the sand. That was your favorite part of this game, you think. Every body part is legal.

(CONTINUED)
>>
>>1780891
The crowd disperses on the conclusion on your game (though not without congratulations for you and Weiss or sympathies for Blake and Penny), leaving only a few stragglers. One of them drags another towards you, and a vague recollection forces you to pay attention. The girls notice you staring, and they too consider the two young men. One, a blonde Faunus in red trunks, and the other a blue-haired teen in another set of red trunks. The Faunus is waving at you as he pulls his friend along.

“Hey, Schnee! That was awesome, man!” Where have you heard that voice before? A growl from Weiss causes it all to come rushing back. The chase, the excuses, and a name. Sun Wukong. That fact brings to mind one other thing: Your sister hates Sun Wukong.

I don't mean to be rude, BrotherQM, but are you going to address any of the criticisms about lack of security that were brought up last thread? They look pretty valid, and it's never good when you have people asking if everyone who could have protected us were juggling idiot balls.

The abduction itself makes sense. I can see Neo being able to do it, but sneaking into the our room afterwards is insane. That means not only did Ozpin not give a fuck that someone broke into a student's room and abducted them (which should have some pretty hefty consequences in itself), but that neither Winter, Father, or the police thought we'd need some protection until we were healed. Which is just fundamentally stupid when our testimony might be needed.
>>
>>1796564
I asked something similar in Discord, and didn't get any real answer
>>
>>1796564
>>1796570
Blake and Neo are trained assassins (practically in Blake's case, literally in Neo's) and, while the room was guarded, no one was guarding it from inside (you'll fuck up your patients mentally with armed guards standing over their helpless unmoving bodies, even if they're on your side). So Blake used the window (avoidance, Dishonored style stealth) and Neo disguised herself as an actual employee and walked in with credentials (Hitman style stealth). I didn't mention the guards themselves because it honestly just didn't matter for what was happening in those scenes. Blake and Neo are so far above your average foot soldier grunt who'd be pulling guard duty that describing them moving around them would've bogged those scenes down when all that needed to be established was:
A: How Blake feels and
B: Neo can kill you, but won't.

We didn't linger on how badass they are because we already know.

There’s a tension in the air that only you can feel, even as you return Sun’s friendly wave. You’ve been caught in a web of explosive circumstances that only you fully understand. While you may have shouted it at her, you have no idea if Weiss retained the idea that Sun was afraid of your family. His bold approach now wasn’t likely to help her remember. You love your sister, you really do, but you also know she’s had a hard time with, well, Faunus. Especially ones with a flagrant disrespect for authority. Normally, that would be manageable. Embarrassing, but manageable.

With Blake present, however, things have gotten much more complicated. Weiss still has no idea that her either of her teammates aren’t human, and Blake is sensitive enough about it that she hides her true nature even when Faunus are, for the most part, accepted. If Weiss lets something untoward slip where Blake can hear… You don’t want to think about the ramifications, or what it could mean for the team.

“Why didn’t you tell us you were gonna be here?!” Sun has a smile a mile long, undeterred by both his nervous teammate and your sister’s venomous presence. You have to admire his poker face. Or his idiocy. “I don’t have your number, and I don’t know who this is,” you point out, and Sun barely reacts before shoving the blue haired beachgoer forward.

“Oh, right, this is Neptune! He’s my partner, from Haven.” You and Neptune exchange a quiet greeting, and while he gives nervous nods to the rest of your team, you consider your options.

>A) Let it happen. Blake can’t expect Weiss to be sensitive to issues she doesn’t know about. That isn’t fair to your sister.
>B) Take Weiss aside and give her a warning. Without outing Blake, of course. “Look, I know you don’t like him, but for my sake, keep it to yourself. Please?”
>C) Get Sun out of here. Nothing will happen if he’s not around to cause it. “Hey, have you guys seen the center of the lake? They’ve got real turtles in there!”
>D) This is ridiculous! You are not getting caught up in a juggling act of hurt feelings. Take Blake aside and ask her to clue Weiss into her Faunustry before something bad happens.

You’ve kept Blake’s secret for over a month. You’ve kept Weiss in check during her less diplomatic moments for years. You’ve been balancing the needs of all of your team and friends for six months straight, and you’re just tired of it. This is your beach day off. Someone else can be responsible for this mess. So, who to talk to… Blake, Weiss, and Sun are the ones you want to avoid, and Penny is beginning to take notice of Weiss’s dirty looks. You’d like to keep her out of it, but unfortunately for her, you’ve already washed your hands of it. Guess that leaves…

“Neptune?” He jumps at the acknowledgement, but swiftly settles into a much more relaxed stance and gives you a confident, bordering on cocky, smirk. “Oh, hey, you’re… Whitaker, right?” Whatever was hogging his attention and forcing a more nervous demeanor had, apparently, totally slipped his mind now that he had you to focus on. You confirm your name and distract yourself from the metaphorical storm cloud behind you with some small talk.

“What’s Haven like? I’ve heard some things about Mistral,” not anything good, you say to yourself, “but everyone sort of skipped over the Academy.” Neptune tilts his head as if he were shaking water from his ear canal before he answers, “It’s not that much different from Beacon. From what I saw, they’re both just hallways, classrooms, and dorms too small for four people.” You shrug at the concept and move on to something a little more interesting.

“So, what was initiation like?” Neptune’s smirk widens into a shark-like grin as he recalls the ordeal. “They gave us a package and told us to deliver it to a village not too far out of the city before the sun went down. It sounded really easy, but the thing is, they secretly had people along the way who’d ask you for help. Stuff like changing a wagon wheel or chopping down firewood. Anyone who didn’t help somebody failed, and the rest of us were paired up based on how often we stopped.” You recount your own, thankfully much shorter ordeal with initiation, and the two of you naturally move on to the misadventures you’d had since then.

You’re chuckling at his recollection of a team “ABRN” and one member’s attempts to grind down the academy’s roof when a sudden explosion of yelling overtakes the hissing argument that had been building between your team and Sun. You turn to see Weiss, Penny, and Sun standing frozen with shocked expressions and a large cloud of sand being kicked up as Blake runs. You were gone for all of two minutes! What the hell had happened?!

You kick off the sand and are on Blake’s trail before she can leave the building. It’s difficult keeping up with her - she had told you that being a cat Faunus didn’t give her any cat-like reflexes, but seeing her weave around the crowd is making you question that information. You keep pace only because you’re not very careful about moving the people in your way, while Blake must search for openings.

Eventually, you break into the open air, and the crowd begins to thin. If Blake had been in her normal clothes, she may have lost you in the remaining people, but it’s easy to spot her pale form when you take a moment to look. In that moment, Penny rushes ahead of you, and now you’re following her as she keeps Blake in her sights. You spare a wondering moment for Weiss before the chase forces it out of your mind.

Through the winding streets and alleys that Blake leads you along, you pull alongside Penny so that the two of you are running shoulder to shoulder. Eventually, you see Blake stop on the lip of an alley as it enters the main street again. Has she gotten tired? You keep your speed, and attempt to place a hand on her shoulder, but it phases through and Blake seemingly turns to smoke between your fingers. She’s using her semblance now?!

Penny, once again, does not stop beside you to reconfirm Blake’s position. Knowing what you do about her, it’s easy to trust that she knows what she’s doing, so you launch yourself after her. The constant endurance test is beginning to take a toll, and running barefoot on what must have been miles of concrete and asphalt on a hot summer day is playing havoc on your feet. Even a Huntsman’s body has limits, and you can feel yourself begin to slow just a little bit. So can Penny, apparently, and one of the cables she had been using to fake her telekinetic semblance wraps around you. She’s not willing to let you catch your breath again and risk losing Blake

You’re flying behind Penny waist-first as the two girls rely on their auras to complete feats of acrobatics far beyond normal humans, and a few that are impressive even for Huntresses. In the back of your screaming mind, you’re dimly aware that you couldn’t have possibly kept up the pace for this long. Penny, you understand, but Blake must be on the verge of collapse under these circumstances.

Sure enough, the chase comes to an end on a rooftop overlooking one of the less busy streets of Vale. Blake falls to her hands and knees, and from where Penny gently sets you down, you can see her ragged gasping for air and the gleam of sweat that weighs even her hair down. The poor girl’s been run ragged by Penny, like a hunting dog after a fox. You suppose that makes you the hunter who must finish it off.

>A) Take it easy. Whatever happened, it’s obviously very upsetting. “Blake? Can you tell me what happened? I want to help.”

“Blake?” She doesn’t react, still panting for air, so you take a few steps closer and repeat yourself. This time, she turns her head towards you. You still can’t see her face, but she’s listening, so you continue. “Can you tell me what happened?” You aren’t sure what the noise she makes is supposed to be, but it sounds pathetic. Blake pushes off of her hands and comes to sit on the roof, her legs tucked underneath her. She still isn’t saying anything.

You take a seat beside her, and in a quiet voice that you aren’t sure you meant to use out loud, you tell her, “I want to help.” Blake’s arms tense at the sentiment, and she finally looks at you. “No one told you, did they…” Her question is more stated than asked, in a defeated monotone that nonetheless carries an unsteady waver, like a concrete building about to collapse. You shake your head in a negative. She surprises you with a hug. You let out a small gasp, one you hear in a much louder form from Penny.

The embrace is tight and desperate, as if Blake is worried she’ll fall from the roof, but it’s over quickly. She settles back into a sitting position, an embarrassed blush coating the rest of her morose expression. “Sorry,” she says after a deep breath to center herself, “I just… Don’t think I’ll get another chance to do that.”

“Why not?” You feel like you’ve been unexpectedly caught by an undertow and are being dragged out to sea. Things were fine this morning. You were going to the beach. What happened?

“Whitaker…” Your name chokes her a bit, but she swallows and soldiers on. “I used to be a member of the White Fang...”

>A) That is… Ridiculous. Impossible, even. “What?! There’s no way I turned around for two minutes and something like THAT came up! Is this some type of joke?!”
>B) The White Fang? After all this time, she was WHITE FANG?! “‘Used to be’?! What, did you just get bored with trying to kill my family?!”
>C) You can’t think of anything to say. How are you supposed to respond? One of your friends, White Fang? All you can do is walk away. Maybe with some distance, you can figure out what to do.

No. No, that cannot have happened. That could not have happened in the time it took you to talk to Neptune about irresponsible skaters. You open your mouth to calmly explain this lapse in common sense to your teammate.

“What?! There’s no way I turned around for two minutes and something like that came up!” That isn’t what you wanted, exactly, but it got the point across. Blake flinches at your incredulity, and Penny nervously steps forward. “Whitaker, she is telling the truth,” she explains. “I am not sure why, but your friend began to ask why Blake kept her bow over her ears, and this lead to an altercation between her and Weiss. I attempted to mediate, but my efforts were unsuccessful…” As she talks, Penny’s pitch rises and her words begin to pour out quicker.

“Then Weiss began to come up with horrible reasons why Blake would hide herself from us, and one included the White Fang... Blake responded with anger, and confirmed her membership by accident…” With her piece said, Penny steps back and away from your inexpressive form. Well, that settled it. That was too detailed for a joke or story made up on the run, and Blake isn't denying it. Where do you go from here?

>A) There's something you've always wanted to know about their members, but have never had the opportunity to ask. “Why did you join the White Fang?”
>B) You don't hate Blake, she did say she's left, but it will be some time before you trust her around Weiss or yourself. “Blake, just… Find a hotel. I'll pay for it, at least for the summer, but… I can't have you in the dorm. Not right now.”
>C) This is too much to sort through. You've barely had a minute to know it's real, much less what to DO about it. “I'm going for a walk. I'll be back.” Maybe it'll give you some precious time to think.
>D) Once White Fang, always White Fang. “I'm taking you to the police.”

“Why did you join the White Fang?” You aren’t sure why you asked now, of all possible moments, but you did. Well, it isn’t as if the White Fang have offered you many opportunities to learn their motivations. Maybe that was it? In any case, the question hangs between you and Blake’s shivering form. It must be cold up here.

It takes her a few false starts, but once she pushes herself to her feet, she manages to say, “It wasn’t always like this. We used to protest for what we wanted. We used to talk to people… But nothing ever WORKED!” The rush of anger is totally at odds with the defeat she wore like a shroud only a moment earlier. You had seen threats and sparks in Blake’s eyes before, but now they were on fire. “They’d tell us everything would change, that the Faunus under them would live in peace and be treated just like everyone else, but as soon as we left they forgot about us! The politicians, the Dust Exec-” She cuts herself off mid rant and stares at you with wide eyes. You don’t react. You had heard, and said, so much worse about your father that you had barely registered she insulted him.

Blake clears her throat before continuing with much less enthusiasm, “It wasn’t enough to tell them. We had to do something to make them. The idea was to hit the economy… So, we starting stealing. That was all it was at first, but it just went further and further… I didn’t join the White Fang, not the way you’re thinking. I was already a member when things started going wrong, but I left when they asked me to kill for them. I didn’t know they had been targeting people, Whitaker, I swear!”

Her voice picks up in desperation at the end, and once again, one of your teammates is begging you for mercy with her eyes. As far as you were aware, she was telling the truth. The White Fang didn’t begin to make attempts on your family’s lives directly until less than two years ago, and the event hadn’t been made public by either side. None of the other attempts had been, either. If the leadership of the Fang had been keeping even their own members in the dark, then Blake would have gone along with it never knowing she was placing your siblings and you at risk...

>A) You’re not forgiving this, or forgetting it. But it doesn’t have to be the end of the team. “We’ll lay out some ground rules. From now on, you’re with one of us 24/7.”
>B) You’re crazy for even THINKING about it, but maybe you can still be friends. “I’m not going to forget about this, but you’ve had my back for half a year now. I’m not going to forget about that either.”
>C) You’re weren’t born yesterday. “I’m going to look into you and the White Fang, Blake. If I find out that it was ANY different from what you’re saying it was, there isn’t going to be a second chance.”
>D) You can’t make this decision on your own. You don’t have the right to, really. You aren’t the only one who’s been hurt by the White Fang. You need to discuss Blake with Weiss.
>E) You can’t make this decision on your own. You don’t have the right to, really. You aren’t the only one who’s been hurt by the White Fang. You need to discuss Blake with Weiss and Winter.

She's clearly torn up about all of this, and we've shown ourselves to be more cool-headed than Weiss.
>>
>>1803031
>F) You...need to know more before making a decision. Alot more. "You are going to tell me everything you know about the White Fang. In detail. How you got involved, when, where, who you know, what you did, everything. Then I'll decide whether to trust you."

Put them at the table together, MAKE them put everything out on it, and don't let them leave until they come to some sort of agreement.

We're going to have to talk to Weiss about this sooner or later, but right now, this is what I can see Whit thinking.

“I’m not going to forget about this, but you’ve had my back for half a year now. I’m not going to forget about that, either.” Blake’s demeanor shifts in a drastic way towards surprise, and you can see the fabric of her still-somehow-tied bow stretch to accommodate her raised ears. And she had been worried about it getting washed away in the lake. You take a few steps forward and open your arms, Blake’s earlier worries buzzing softly in the back of your head. It’s her turn to let out a small gasp, and she hesitantly approaches before accepting the hug.

You feel a small weight impact your back and another pair of arms wrap around your waist. “My friends, it is so good to see that you have made up!” Penny squeals into your shoulder blades, and the three of you stay still for a few moments. “Where’s Weiss?” you ask, suddenly reminded that the team wasn’t entirely present. “She slipped on the sand when we chased after Blake!” Penny helpfully chirps. You hum in thought.

Forgiving Blake may have some unpleasant consequences with not just Weiss, but your entire family if they find out. In accepting Blake’s past, you have once again accepted the implicit responsibility of protecting that secret. As you mull over yet one more thing that solidifies the bond between leader and team, even if it carries an entirely new set of burdens, Blake is the next one to break the silence.

“Can we go back and change? I’m getting cold…”
>>

>“Can we go back and change? I’m getting cold…”
No we go to a nearest love hotel right now. Penny you too.
>>
>>1802799
>D) Once White Fang, always White Fang. “I'm taking you to the police.”
Haha, jesus. So I have to ask, what would've happened if we'd picked that?

Weiss is Best Cutest Imouto!

>>1803275
But why not
>>

Penny is for cuddles, head patting and to trick sister into thinking lewd thoughts of our massages

>>1803329
It's not 'spew', it's S.P.E.W.
Harry Potter reference for any of you Neanderthals who didn't get it
>>
>>1803246
Well, obviously, that would've been the end of Blake trusting you. Ever. There may have been some finagling from Ozpin to keep her out of jail, but yeah, that may have just been the end of SPWB, right then and there.

Of course, Blake wasn't going to just let you drag her to the cops, and your weapons were still with your normal clothes. So you would have had a(n incredibly easy, considering how exhausted she was after being chased by Penny) rooftop bathing suit fist fight to subdue her.

And if that had happened and I wasn't the one writing it, it would be the moment to make me see Whitaker as kind of a prick. Heck, that MIGHT have led to Whitaker slowly turning into the Knight Templar style villain canon is hinting at Ironwood becoming,
but that's really just wild speculation as it would've been VERY far off with plenty of options to back out of it.
>>
>>1803166
Hey so let's just completely alienate Weiss from the team

Great idea

It's like you people want her to become a villain when she finds out how many important secrets and shared burdens have been kept from her.
>>
>>1803513
It's not our fault she's not a valid waifu option, why should we care what she thinks?
/s
>>
>>1803448
For the record, what would have happened if >>1803048 happened?
>>
>>1803588
You would've had to roll. Intimidation, it's a very threatening tone, but it wouldn't have been hard. She would've gone into what she knows, but IDK how helpful you guys would find it.

She'd just reinforce how much she didn't know, and how nothing she did involved murder. I guess she may have brought up Adam, but that would've taken more than passing the roll. You'd have to knock it out of the park.
>>
>>1803600
True, but would it least be a bit better than blindly accepting and trusting?
>>
>>1803613
>blindly
Whit's pretty well appraised of the situation. And even then, saying you can forgive someone and actually doing it are two different things.

Can someone give me a quick rundown on what's happened so far?

>Blake shitting up the situation with "I used to be a member of the WF"
Fuck, why did she have to mention that bullshit at the worst time, it's like going out for a late-night dinner with your friends and all of a sudden, one of them mentions they like Anal Vore
>>
>>1805741
anyone have a screencap of that one Anon that did a whole presentation for his family about anal vore?
>>
>>1805741
Should've just had Whitaker and Blake alone on the pier at a nice sunset, and it's just, in general, a nice scene for the senses but she starts crying and apologizes profusely or like "I don't deserve any of this that you and everyone have given me" and then runs away and then come's out as her being an EX-WF member

I don't even like shitty kitty, fucking Blake
>>
>>1805752
That happened?
