Last time on EDQ, I forgot that we went clear past the point of "maybe you should post a new thread" and yeah, we did.

So here's the new thread.

Anyways, we just gave permission to some kobolds to work on some stuff, while we try to rule over them a bit, and settle some minor disputes, that sort of thing.

Meanwhile, as Claw...

You've been dealing with some pretty weird things. Days repeating, not to mention each day just gets weirder and weirder.

...You really hope you aren't delusional or anything. Or going crazy. Or having ethereal spirits influence you, or whatever causes you to act irrational and somewhat crazy at times.

...But erm... Apparently Renexixizious left, and now your dealing with whatever's going on.

Which apparently, might just be a really fancy assassination attempt against Renexizious, now turned against you. Mostly because so far, you've drunk literal poison, but thanks to your abnormal biology, felt perfectly fine.

...Of course, no one else reacts to you in any way, let alone acknowledge your existence, while a very angry mage has been casting fireballs at you, and otherwise attempting to kill you in a variety of methods, such as exploding, poisoning, and other things like that.

...Man, you hate mages. This one seems to be messing with time too. Whenever you stab him with a knife or crush him, time reverses and he manages to avoid it... It's always by ten seconds too.

You've been making a plan in your locked up room, and been doodling a bit of a plan...

Actions

>...Try to hide from the mage...
>Try to ambush the mage...
>...Try to study his actions more precisely...
>...Maybe there's some way you can break the whole "time warp" thing he's doing?

Claw of course, launches a super sneaky surprise attack on the mage from the attic, which is simply him purposely seeping from the boards and trying to engulf the mage...

...One minute, the mage is entirely engulfed, and the next, the mage is ten feet away, entirely unaffected by this...

Damn. You'll need to be faster, somehow...

The mage seems to get ready to cast a fireball at Claw, who's currently stuck in a weird mix of both the attic, and his own room, thanks to his large size...

1. They have a flap of tissue at the end of their (not there, their) anus that works as a kind of wiper to prevent it from sticking to them.
2. Worms, from annelid worms to flatworms to helminths and flukes and every god-forsaken worm in between, has one mouth at the anterior section of the body, and one anus at the posterior section of the body. If you cut one in half, the head section MIGHT regrow and heal itself, if its lucky, the anus section just dies in horrible agony. More than likely, both ends die of shock, because they were just violently dismembered. Worms do not puke, and in many species, do not even have a mouth used for eating, instead absorbing nutrients through their environment (like almost every parasitic worm).
3. Worms don't 'give birth', they lay eggs. Worms like tapeworms tend to break off sections of themselves, called proglottids, which are full of ripened, mature eggs to be passed in the infected person's stool to keep the infection chain going. Worms also tend to be hermaphroditic in nature, having a male and a female pore they mate through, with fertilized eggs in most species being passed through the female pore. The female pore is NOT a virgina, a vagina, or any else remotely similar.

Honestly, I thought few things could be worse than the furry porn you posted a couple threads back. I had really hoped that you and people like you would simply leave once we got rid of Liz's fetish assets, since a number of your earlier posts were clearly you using it as spank material (you'd only post during lewd scenes, or scenes that had the potential to become lewd scenes, and posted in a manner that made it quite obvious you have a fat fetish) but it appears I was wrong. So let me clear. Your posts make you seem like an early-teenager just discovering his nascent sexuality, instead of a basement dweller who should really know better, so I'll make this polite. This thread is not for your fetishes. No one likes coming onto a worksafe board and seeing furry porn, scaley porn, pokemon porn, or non-porn things that are nonetheless uncalled for and disgusting. I agree with the QM in that you shouldn't be posting here anymore, at least not until you learn how to post with some semblance of taste.

So long of course, that you pledge undying loyalty to me for all eternity, even in death, and also give me your soul. That would be good too... Along with your eternal servitude, I would also greatly appreciate that."

"Erh..."

"My lord is fine, halfling. Now, if you actually want me to help you, I recommend you grovel before me."

"...G-grovel?"

"Mostly for daring to intrude upon my lair, along with daring to cut off food to the kobolds, understand?"

...After a brief interlude of you exercising your ego a bit cruelly, the halflings eventually go back to their village after being frightened by you dangling them about a hundred stories in the air, forcing them to give you extremely long titles, such as the "Grand Protector of the Halfling Peoples of all of Existence".

Of course, you introduce Elslif to your grandparents.

Mom is of course, thinks she's absolutely, positively, adorable. Her heart practically melts looking at her, and of course, the majority of the visit is the two of them bonding, while you get left out.

...You feel a bit envious, in a slight sense, but Elslif seems to be having a great time with her grandmother, who's of course, having fun with the variety of things in her hoard.

Your dad also finds her precious, and you manage to find some time with him to actually kind of bond and hang out for a minute, with him expressing his concern over your lifestyle/choices and his regrets of not being there for you... That sort of thing.

You of course, tell him not to worry about it at all, and ask him when he and mom plan to move to Sweden, which he gives a bit of a shrug.

...It immediately gets off track when he asks how the "threesome marriage" is going, and gives you a look telling you that he disapproves.

...Goddamn it dad.

"Listen, it's going fine, alright?"

"...Right. You still sleeping with everything that moves?"

"Come on dad..."

"...Hey, I'm not the one who married a cow."

Fucking god...

Your dad of course, lightens up a bit, but you can tell he somewhat disapproves of the whole "marrying a minotaur" thing.

Flames of course, tries his best to ignore it, and eventually Elslif finishes up playing with her grandmother and listening to stories and that sort of thing, she's even eating some cookies too. Aw.

You kiss your mom goodbye, and she of course, gives you a hug and tells you to come again soon, and you leave...

You of course, go adventuring...

You decide to get Basil to do this, when you go back home.

After this, you go back to attempting to rest from your sickness, which is slowly getting better.

...Of course, not even your headmates can't annoy, and the only good thing is Elslif being cute and childlike around you.

Eventually, time goes by and you recover fully, finally...
You do note that Elslif is no where to really be seen.

With all that being done, you notice the kobolds have remodeled a bit, their hovels looking a bit nicer and the foundations being made of well-carved stone...

Huh, seems like the kobolds have been busy while you were gone.

...He looks up at you, very, very confused.

You of course, turn your attention towards him.

"HEY, FAGGOT! GET ME A FUCKING DRINK!"

The skeleton seems somewhat confused, and walks inside the palace, while you generally mess around.

That's of course, about the time you found the alcohol barrels and went pitch black drunk drinking it.

Eventually, you wake up an hour later, in a hot relaxing bath, and barrels of alcohol all over.

...What the fuck.

In front of you, seems to be a very, prestigious skeleton, seemingly talking to you, dressed in overbearing red robes, with a crown on his head, and seems to be... Laughing? At least, you hear laughing. He seems to be just opening his mouth.

"Of course, I have to say, the last time I've ever had the pleasure of discussing the Aegemenan theory with was my fifth wife... I daresay, the most smartest out of them. Too bad she tried to kill me, but eh, most of them do. Being a lich, and all that."

"...Erh..."

"Now, I have to say, the last time I entertained a guest was centuries ago! Back when I had other fleshlings to talk to... Of course, the dead don't provide much conversation, especially once their souls put you on a block list..."

"Hey uh... Who are you?'

"...I'm Grand Emperor Razaleius IX of Valdaria. I forgot to introduce myself, my apologies! You won't believe how grateful I am to hear another person speak after being trapped for so long by cruel, cruel mortals... Erh, bad mortals. Not mortals like you..."
He attempts to apologize to you. Huh.

Continued.
>>
"You know, I have to admit, you are very strange for a dragon! Quite unlike any other I met so far!"

"...Hm?"

"Well, most dragons are very reclusive and cultured, but you are quite unlike anything I've seen!"

"...Thanks?"

"I forget to thank you for freeing me from my eternal prison, by the way... So I suppose, I should give you something from my treasury."

"...Really?"

"Well, of course... But first, can we chatter some more? I have scarcely had such interesting conversations, even though it is primarily focused around your menial desires!"

"...My desires aren't menial."

"Ah, my apologies. You were talking about women, correct?"

"...Erh... I don't remember."

"Ah, don't worry about it. I myself gave up women long ago, when I was far younger. Mostly because none would really gaze upon me for.. Well, obvious reasons, of being a lich. Along with being trapped here. Did I mention how fascinating draconic biology is? In fact, I remember how..."

You spend the next few hours with the lich, conversing with him about... Well, everything. He's very eager to listen, and seems to be overwhelming in terms of gratitude.

"...Anything else?"

"Well, of course! Have you heard of the collected works of Galedemus?"

"...Gale... Galememerus?"

"You absolutely must read it!"

"...I erh... I haven't exactly eaten anything, and I'm starving... Not to mention exhausted of conversation."

He seems a bit... Well, disappointed. He stops hovering in the air too.

"...Oh, I erh... I see."

"...Now, can I see your treasury?"

"...Well, that might be a bit difficult."

"...Why?"

"Mostly because my guardians would annihilate you. But just checking, you are indeed, a dragon, yes?"

"...Yes?"

"Just wondering, why exactly have your kind not succumbed to hunger? A dragon's diet is over 6000,000 thalories..."

...The conversation continues, until he finally relents, satisified with his questions.

"Well, if you are really itching to receive your reward, I could take you to it now."

"...Ah."

"...You are sure you don't want to talk anymore?"

"Yes, yes I am."

"...Oh. Right. Well... Erh, just curious, would you also be interested in seeing my laboratory?"

"Erh..."

"Well, I've gone eras without anyone looking over my work... I would enjoy it if someone would look over it for any mistakes."

"...No one else?"

"Well, none... Well... Besides the rare adventuring party, or young dragon seeking power... They never come to talk though. Always tell me to hurry up..."
>>
He sighs.

"I do remember one dragoness however, a few years ago asking me plenty of questions. She comes around once in a while to see the library, and to talk about things. Very smart, but she's erh... What do you call it..."

"Hm?"

He pauses, and thinks, eventually coming to a solution, mostly because he pokes his finger up, as if he found an answer.

"Ah. She's very ambitious, yes... Quite so! Now, what were we talking about before?"

"I was going to see your lab. Or treasury."

"I see."

"By the way, is there a particular reason why you were able to be a bipedal dragon earlier? I don't precisely believe I've ever heard of such a thing, let alone one who can break down an enchanted dwarven gate."

"Don't worry about it, alright? I'm just known as a lady-killer back home, with my muscles."

"Interesting fun fact, did you know most dragon muscles in fact, have an element containing high amounts of protein, along with being able to enhance muscular strength in humans? A very interesting observation I made on my notes..."

"Erh..."

The lich rambles a bit, and eventually you go inside his lab, which is primitive, and surely lacking... And covered in tablets.

"By the way, if you see any tablets with a thin strip of red paint, don't read them. They're liable to cause demonic posession. Also, don't read blue marked tablets, they're liable to cause your limbs to teleport to other planes of existance."

"...Wait, you study planar teleportation?"

...Which translates to roughly that they're tears in the fabric of reality leading to drastically different timelines, and these tears are usually caused by gods trying to advance themselves via sending champions to other dimensions, and said portals are usually only able to be used by the champions of gods, and none else. Not even dragons.

"...Wait, how was I able to get here then?"

"Well, likely because a god has championed you. It's rare, I believe."

"...What about my friends?"

"...Well, likely another god has let them through..."

...Fuck, this is confusing.

He continues to explain that a select few portals tend to pop up randomly or for a certain amount of time, or otherwise be visible to only champions of gods, which is rare.

"...So I might be a champion?"

"Maybe. Or you could of eaten one. But the portals are rarely opened... There's a few public ones, at least in my time. There's also the case that dragons could see it differently, I haven't exactly fleshed my theories out to your kind."

Strange.

"Well... Is there anything else?"

"...Eh, there is one thing. An artifact I was making, hopefully to breach the timeline and get rid of what caused me to end up here... Hasn't led anywhere so far, I'm not exactly sure why."

"...Where is it?"

"Eh, on a table or something. I wouldn't advise messing around with it, or anything. Timeline warpery is a very, very scary business."

You notice on a table a blue orb, and the lich nods.

"If you want, I can show you some of my other things. That actually work."

"So uh, what exactly does it do?"

"Well, mostly clean up mistakes. Of course, gods and such don't like it too much, so I'd imagine you could only get away with changing the past for so long."

"Huh. What else do you have?"

The lich thinks a bit.

"...Erh, hm... Ah, I have some transmutation experiments in the back, mostly from copper to gold, or metals to adamantine."

"...Adamantine?"

"...My apologies if you've never heard of the metal, but it is truly a fascinating material... It's a strangely light metal, similar to silk, but just as tough as steel, if not more so. The dwarves here have found it, but of course, the reason they aren't still around is quite obvious once you explore the sealed up mines."

"...Erh..."

"You know, demons and such. Mining adamantine requires you to get awfully comfortable with living a foot away from hell. Anyways, the transmutation experiments have all come to fruition save the adamantine one."

"I see..."

The lich floats up in the air, and you follow him, and he eventually guides you to what seems to be a large metal gauntlet, seemingly brass or bronze.

"This one is a bit more interesting, mostly an applied use of trans-dimensional warpery, which should in theory, allow for you to teleport the gauntlet to punch someone. It works well, but the only problem is that it has a tendency to not be rooted in reality."

"What do you mean?"

"...Try touching it."

You attempt to touch the gauntlet. Your hand phases strangely through it.

"So of course, the punching applications of a teleporting gauntlet are quite limited, but thankfully it's not revolutionizing mail bombs."

"Yeah."

"...The rest of my inventions are mostly quality of life. Such as cleaning supplies."

"...Cleaning supplies?"

"Mostly so I don't run around in dirty robes with dust and spiders and other things in it. Also so I don't have to spend my days cleaning up dust gathering up around here."

"I see. Is that all?"

"Yes, mostly. I probably have a few projects lying around that I've forgotten about, but that's really it."

"Ah."

"Any questions? I certainly have a few for you, if you don't mind me asking."

Huh.

"Well, I was wondering, what was your plan on after leaving this place."

"Probably the usual. Adventure around for a bit, probably seek some libraries, end up in bizzare circumstances... Sort of like when I was far younger, and actually mortal!"

"No empire building, nothing like that?"

"...I ruled an empire for what, nearly five-thousand years in a row, no sick days or breaks? I'm still sick of the mere mention of having to look over taxes or whatever emperor's do these days. Partially why I banned taxes and just relied on me summoning income."

"...Did it help?"

"Well, yes... Of course, then I ended up here, basically in forced retirement thanks to "heroes", of course.."

"Ah. Heroes got you trapped down here?"

"Ha! More as if I trapped myself down here to avoid them... Which I erh... I did not exactly do that. In all truth and honesty, it is more akin to me taking an academic trip here, then me sort of losing track of time, and realizing that the gates closed and that some god locked me down here or something."

"...Oh. Well... Now that your free, why don't you join me? I could use a powerful mage."

He sort of chitters a bit excitedly.

"Well, that very well depends. I'd be happy to stay with you, so long as you can fulfill my requests."

Hey GM, can we use the gauntlet to go back in time and erase an action we've done? Like, make it so the Claw Rape Incident and resulting fallout never happened, or use it as a way to trim the waifu roster without having to have one of them killed off, but still working in our palace as an employee?

Back for a while.

"...Say, can I use one of your artifacts?"

"Which one?"

"The orb one. Which lets you change things in the past, right?"

"...Yes, it does, though I wouldn't recommend using it."

"Really?"

"...Well, what exactly do you have in mind?"

"...Just erasing something someone did, so to speak."

"...I'd recommend being careful with that. Who knows what could happen if you change the slightest thing?"

"...Well, how long can I use it for?"

"...Well, the longest I've gotten it to work was long enough was to wander around a bit lost... So anywhere from ten to twenty minutes, I suppose."

"How does it work?"

"...Well, rubbing it, really."

Huh.

"So, yes, I can use it?'

"I suppose... Just be warned, that circumstances changing where you may not in fact find the ball or I, could have dire consquences."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, think of it as a surgery... You need to do one, very, very specific thing, and not a multitude, otherwise you may not even recognize your reality."

"...Has it happened to you?"

"What, do you think I would test that on myself? It's a good way to end up erasing yourself from existance, or worse."

You decide to remove the waifus.

...It's honestly as simple as going back to tell yourself to flirt around with Frankizka rather then actually end up dating and marrying her.

You also tell Flames to not mess around with women, since they're not worth it.

You eventually end up back in the library, with the lich standing next to you.

"Well, how did it go?"

"...Good, I think..."

"Well, you won't know until you head back home. What exactly did you do precisely?"

"...Well... It's complicated... It's mostly to just make my wife feel a lot better... Also so I have more time to myself."

"That's good. Just note that you'll likely fade out and forget about what you just did."

"...I don't get what you mean."

"It's a cognative effect, as memories will sort of shock you and stun you... Eventually they'll flood back, in time. Say, where exactly did you come from?"

"...A village, I think."

"Ah..."

...You feel woozy... And... Well...

You can't help but pass out.
>>
You wake up in a grassy field, next to what seems to be a village of people, like you.

...You also seem to be in the dirt, and you get up. You seem to be in the garb of a peasant, with a pouch of gold on your waist.

...You scratch your brown hair trying to remember how you got here. You know your name is Rennie, and you are a traveler, or something. With a huge beard. Kind of like those norsemen.

Cool.

...You don't remember exactly what your goals are though. Something, something...

...You also have two voices that talk to you, named Flames and Solaire. Flames, primarily because he wants to set things on fire, and Solaire because he's... Solaire, you guess.

You stretch a bit, and think about what your task was...

...After looking around, you notice a butter churn...

...Maybe your job was to churn butter?

After two hours of doing menial work, memories begin to flood back to you...

You decide to go home.

It takes you a while, and for some reason the portal is open continently, so you take it, and begin to head home.

Eventually, you land home at night, and feeling tired, you head to bed.

It doesn't seem like much has changed, but you do notice that as you go into the living room there seems to be pictures hung of the wall. Kid's paintings, photographs of you, a very happy Elizabeth, and the kids of course, and on the coffee table seems to be a very nice, bundle of roses on the coffee table. Fresh too, and really look nice.

...Oh, there's also no minotaur fur on the couch. Great...

...Man, you'll miss the comfy you had with her... Just a bit, though.

You of course, head up the stairs, and open the door to the bedroom.

A wonderful pile of gold and jewels is awash in the living room, rising above the bed itself slightly...

With a cute green half dragon called Elizabeth reading a book in the mound of gold.

She of course, looks up and smiles.

"Oh, Ren? Your back already?"

"Hi Elizabeth."

"How was the business trip?"

"...Well, relaxing. Got a lot off my shoulders."

"That's wonderful to hear. Did you meet anyone else?"

"Yeah, a lich. He's a nice guy though, really good with magic, that sort of thing."

"Oh, wonderful. Anyone else?"

"Nah, not really."

"Ah. Well, it was rather boring with you not here. I had to go to afternoon tea with the girls, gossiping, and such."

"With the girls?"

"...Oh, you know. Frankizka, Lorriana... You know, I swear that Frankizka has a crush on you."

You chuckle a bit nervously.

"Really?"

She of course responds with a kiss.

"I wouldn't worry about it. She's a dear to be with, even with that french accent. A bit endearing, that."

"...I see?"

"Lorriana is a bit... Well, shy honestly. Always trying to hide her personality behind being a dragon, and pretending to have a superiority complex..."

"...Really?'

"She's honestly very nice once you get to know her. Not to mention a good taste in tea, I must say."

Interesting.

"How was Elslif?"

"Great. She was perfectly safe there."

"Wonderful."

"Yep."

It kind of quiets down a bit, and you get into bed next to Elizabeth, and cuddle for a bit with her, and eventually a bit closer... And then close enough where the two of you are practically hugging.

"...Ren?"

"Yeah?"

"...Why do you feel like fur?"

"...I'm erh... I'm in my half-dragon form."

You hear...

A bark in agreement.

You get the fuck up and turn on the light as fast as possible, and turn around to notice a very, very comfortable Blondi.

...And here you were, about to get a comfy make out session, maybe reconnect a bit, and maybe have some tumbling.

Fucking Blondi.

...He's just too fucking cute for you to be mad, goddamn it.

You push him to the side of the bed, and he whines a bit.

...You eventually pass out with Liz.
>>
Meanwhile in the middle of the night....

...By God you are so adorable sleeping... With your cute little face and snout... Not to mention your cute little chin and adorable little feet...

You wake up in a sweat, and look around... Only to see Elizabeth sleepily petting Blondi.

"Liz, are you talking?"

"Oh... Ren, by the way, I have apparently psychic powers now... It's pretty fun. Not sure why, though."

But oh my god you are so cute with your little face and chin... Aww, not to mention how adorable you look when confused...

...You don't think she knows that she's mentally talking to you.

Fucking adorable.

You end up sleeping for the next few hours with Liz, and eventually wake up a bit after Elizabeth...

You get up and get dressed in a nice suit, and hear Liz coming with your morning plate of food...

Which is this morning, preztels, dog food, and bacon with eggs.

She puts the dog food next to the bed on the gold pile, which Blondi homes into, and tears into it in a strange fit of anger. Or hunger. Or maybe he's just really eager.

You eat your breakfast while Liz tells you about how Basil, Viktor, and Renexizia have sent you cards...

...Huh.

That's of course, when you hear a whine next to you, that of a rather sad, and confused khornate demon.

...You look to see that Blondi has managed to get the bowl stuck on his face, along with melting and on fire. He seems confused as he bumps into a part of the wall.

...Huh.

...Which kind of ends up with him being stuck and unable to move as the bowl melts onto a wall partially.

Liz attempts to not giggle at seeing this, and you of course, try to remove the melting bowl.

Of course, with your freakish strength, you ply the bowl right off his face, and he barks in gratitude and happiness.

Probably.

"...Oh, by the way, Reinhold wants you for something."

"...Reinhold?"

"You know, that priest you hang out with?"
