As night stretched on the skies over Iti'a'Ropku shone with the aurora in dazzling colors. The hymns that rang through the city were mellow and subdued, the Chitin Choir lowering their volume. With no Ahkam invaders in sight the populace had been allowed to return to their homes within the city or were given rooms in one of the buildings near the colosseum. A few remained in its stands, some having fallen asleep where they sat or converse in low tones with their friends.

One such group to remain in the colosseum were the trio of Ahkam. They continued to watch the holoscreen displaying the data streaming in from Bastion and Urdir. Near to them the epikor twins, who were once Vle'Karaks elite guard turned gladiators, sat back to back in a meditation. A Harbinger sits on the edge of the platform, its eyeless gaze looking not across the darkened colosseum but up toward the open ceiling and shimmering sky as clouds passed in front of the auroras.

Vle'Karak turns his gaze away from the holoscreen showing the conflict between his niece and your family to glance at the human approaching them. Tongue flitting out to taste the air he hisses faintly, the other two serpents glancing at Jor before disinterestedly turning their attention back to the screen.

"You're stealthy. For a human. I did not hear your footsteps," the serpent says to the man who comes to stand by him, "Nor did I hear your heartbeat," he adds after a pause.

"A Necromancers trick," Jor says but he does not specify which he meant. Instead he nods to the screen as he folds his arms across his chest, "Quite a show they're putting on."

Vle'Karak hisses softly and turns back to the screen as well. He was silent for a few moments, "It is a curious feeling. While I know our survival depends on Lord Jadyk's victory, it is...saddening to see this happen to Quantac'Vrix," he says in a somewhat frustrated tone.

Jor nods, the finger of his false hand rubbing at his chin. His helm and armor was missing with the human wearing typical Necromancer robes, "She is still family, I understand. If Jadyk had his way I'm sure he would have attempted to win her over much like he did with you." He glances up in surprise at the rough clicking sound the serpent made, taking a moment for his internal Symbiot to inform him that it was laughter.

"Even with Jadyk's immortality, he would never be capable of twisting the loyalty of a Matriarch," he says with a hint of bitterness, "Their loyalty serves only themselves."

"From what Lord Jadyk and Lord Ruscuv, that self-serving megalomania is what lead to their defeat and the breaking of the old Armada," the human looks to the serpent with his tired eyes, "It will be up to you to shepherd those that wish to survive the collapsing of Quantac'Vrixs dynasty. Be it Ahkam or epikor, tyrre, kosda, or esat, they will look to you for guidance. I hope I am correct in my assumption."

Vle'Karak nods with a faint hiss, silently watching the battle between serpent and undead.

Recap:
-The Matriarch Quantac'Vrix is currently engaged in a brutal battle in the midst of the asteroid belt near the heavily fortified protoplanet.

-Jadyk, Ruscuv, Tlacex, and Eiton have all engaged her in battle in person while the Charnel Vault provides covering fire and a mobile base.

-Punisher Agona and Dominator Valresko are commanding the Armada forces to keep the Ahkam fleets from providing reinforcements to the Matriarch.

-Rukor and Bastion continue to fight off and root out the invaders that have managed to make it to their surfaces, Obsidianborn and the Legion fighting hard to save both worlds.

-The Arc Disciple, who was once an Arcdancer in the Legion by the name Orvca, has regained her memories from her former life while also claiming to have made psychic contact with the Arc entity that has been assisting the Armada. She says she believes it to be Nekris lost or trapped in the Arc itself. She says that "the Necrotic must become the bridge" between reality and the Arc to succeed.

-Throughout the Bastion system there are roughly 13 Ahkam capital ships containing trapped Ahkam serpents awaiting capture or execution.

-As well there are pockets of Arc and Necrotic storms in areas of previous or continued intense combat that have grown more violent. Smaller vessels and sub-capitals are having trouble navigating these patches with damage reports coming in with increased regularity from those that attempt to pass through.

As Tlacex and his juggernaut project a sphere of hardlight around themselves the Matriarch strikes at them with bladed tail and they are sent sailing away from the blow that could sunder the armor of a capital ship. Ruscuv floats by a piece of kraken, the broken bioship supporting the Lich as she charges then unleashes another blast of focused Necrotic energy from her tail to strike at Quantac'Vrix who blocks the blow with a wing. The energy clashes with the Arc pulsing through her, the withering elemental force chewing away at her but the Arc Surge allows her to heal quickly from the attack.

Predator Eiton hides in folds of the light, allowing the Matriarchs own power to distort the light around her like a mirage as he slashes and carves through her armor. The Surge flows through him as well, his speed far beyond what he was normally capable of as he blinks and dashes through space so rapidly as if he had duplicated or cloned himself. The whispers of blades press in on him, leaking through his concentration as they urge him onward in wounding the serpent.

His blades formed from the bones of Ahkam serpents slice through scale and armor, the wounds slower to heal than even those afflicted by the Necrotic. Each blow seems to sap the Ahkams connection to the Surge, sliver by sliver but her strength was still immense and nearly overwhelming.

You believed that without your family there to distract her no single one of you would be able to stand a chance against the serpent. Blinking through the Arc she avoids much of the Charnel Vaults barrages, the heavy and very slow flagship unable to track the nimble serpent with their fixed or spinal weaponry. It's shields flicker noticeably as the Ahkam unleashes her attacks upon it, the energy seeping through them to dance across the hull leaving blackened scorches in their wake in her attempts to overload the shield emitters.

You yourself fly after her, telekinetic force propelling you rapidly as Kyn'tk flies from your grasp in repeated throws that bloody and enrage the serpent with each explosive detonation of Necrotic energy. As you pursued your target you notice how the void around the conflict was becoming nearly murky with the build-up of conflicting Arc and Necrotic energies, stormclouds of the crackling energies feeding upon each other and the radiations of elemental forces projected by the duel.

>cont
>>
>>1872332
Through it all you continue to hear the blades scraping upon your skull, the now familiar pain of the Arc contacting you. They whisper in your head, too indistinct to make out the occasional word or phrase but you know they encourage you to feast upon the Matriarch, the desperation growing more noticeable even to you.

Even without feasting upon the serpent herself you forge yourself as you pass through banks of crackling Arc energy, the burning Necrotic flames roiling with renewed intensity at your passing. You drink of the Arc, feeding your Necrotic core while attempting to connect with it yourself.

There was much to do in this battle. How would you like to proceed with it?

>>1872342
Kick her ass!

But proper since she's a lady

But in all seriousness Let a see if we can really piss her off and go for a trick shot.

Can we use places or Ruscov as a trap/ distraction while Jaydk lines up shot at her eyes if we can pop one that would do wonders for her disposition and distract her enough for Eiton to try and get in a dire hit as well
>>
>>1872342
Keep battering her, take out wings and gun ports. TRy lodging her jaw shut.
>>
>>1872342
With such high regeneration chipping away at her won't work, we need to dismember her tail or something else that she can recover from and then start draining her, we can only win this if we take her strength away.
>>
>>1872342

Lets try to drive Kyn'tk into her body, fight her from within and without.
>>
>>1872369
Can't* recover from. Then dig into her like a worm and start draining, she can project arc externally but can she do it internally?
>>
>>1872342
Also the carnal vault cannot track her how ever we can fill the area with "flack" to minimize her room manoeuvre so we can more easily track a snake eyes
>>
>>1872342
Get the Eiton to attack her blades. His attacks are slower to heal and it will lower her attack potential. Try to keep her in one of the Necrotic storms to slow her regen down even more. Have Jadyk attack one of her eyes one she trys to retaliate against one of the generals.
>>
Perhaps a timed concentrated attack in its neck Ruscov then Eiton and Jaydk all targeting the one spot so it doesn't have time to heal before the next big hit
>>
>>1872342
Suggest plans seem to boil down to
>Ruscuv, Tlacex, and the Vault distract the Matriarch
>Jadyk and Eiton attempt to severely injure or cripple her

Sound good?

Illuminator Tlacex dodges out of the way while deflecting a spray of Arc bolts that leap from the serpent with a shield of hardlight. The General felt the Arc charge clinging to his mount and himself like an annoying sense of static build-up, serving as a marker to guide the serpents attacks. Hardlight wings flexing out the juggernaut flies past the Matriarchs face, the flayers built into its forearms unleashing blistering beams of destructive energy. Forced to break off the attack Tlacex propels themselves back as the Matriarch snaps at them with her translucent fangs only to let out a psionic shout of indignation as something heavy and very fast collides with her head.

Ruscuvs claws dig into the metal of Quantac'Vrixs armored "helm", her scythes carving into the dense metal while pulsing with Necrotic energy. Yet as before she is forced to detach and throw herself from the serpent as a blade larger than she was slices with startling speed when she tries to brush away the Lich. Twisting around to lance out with a beam of sickly green energy she was violently interrupted as the same wing flexes out and batters her away. The charging Necrotic attack is sent spraying off in the distance, the floating wrecks of strikecraft erupting with crackling detonations of Necrotic energy.

Sent tumbling through the void Ruscuv gives her own indignant shout while trying to correct her movement telekinetically. There was a brief moment and a flash of Arclight, forcing the Lich to immediately ignore her attempting at stabilization and curl into her protective oblong sphere. A split moment after tucking herself into her dense armor the fangs of the Ahkam close down around her and pierce through armor both bone and telekinetic. Striking from the Arc by blinking directly on top of the Lich she attempts to end the persistent foe by channeling the Arc Surge through her fangs.

The sense of triumph from the Matriarch seemed to rush through the Arc moments before it was replaced with a scream of agony as her body was suddenly barraged by a tide of Necrotic energy. Even in the airless void the massive conjoined blast of the Charnel Vaults spinal flayers seemed to send ripples through the ether as it strikes the Matriarch near dead-center, the build up of Arc energy burning away like a spark igniting flammable gases.

Still sealed between her fangs Ruscuv erupts in Necrotic flame, her furious psionic shout ringing out as she rapidly expands a sphere of telekinetic and Necrotic force. Jaws pried open the Matriarch still attempts to damage her foe by unleashing the Arc through her fangs but there was a flickering of the already distorted light, the Lich nearly completely obscured by the Arclight.

>cont
>>
>>1872906
There was another flicker of Arclight as Eiton and Ruscuv reappear on the platform of the Charnel Vault, the Predator's form twitching and flickering wildly as he opened himself up to the Arc. His eye swivels to the Lich and he grins his rictus smile, <The serpents are tricky, the key is to strike where they cannot see>

As he disappears into the Arc with another blink that leaves a glaring after image of his brilliant red eye staring the Lich hears his voice in her mind once more, <Even if it means you must pluck the eyes from their skulls yourself!>

There was a detonation of Arc lightning against the Matriarchs face as she twisted and writhed to avoid the barrage from the fixed cannons of the Charnel Vault and the spray of Necroflenser bolts. You watch as your race toward the serpent as Eiton emerges from the Arc within the Matriarchs eye itself, erupting forth in a veritable flood of blood, vitreous fluid, and Arc energy while breaking through the lens already fractured and damaged by Tlacex and himself.

Her psionic scream reverberates through the Arc itself, the void itself seeming to quiver with how densely she had saturated the area with the energy. The serpentine form flickers seemingly in and out of reality as light becomes violently distorted around her. Arc lightning rolls off her light stormclouds, the Predator and Illuminator forced to retreat from the sudden storm as she screams out in agony from her ruined eye. Fluid and blood from the wound stream out, freezing upon contact with the vacuum only to evaporate with each pulse of the Arc in a violent chain that further obscures vision of the Matriarch.

Slowing your approach you cock back your arm then let Kyn'tk fly, cracking across the void leaving ripples of burning Necrotic flames in the Arc saturation. A moment before the Necrotic charge missile could strike however the serpent disappears in a flash of Arclight.

>cont
>>
>>1872908
Even as Kyn'tk returns to your grasp with a bending of spacetime you can feel reality twist around you. Time seems to slow to a crawl as the burst of Arclight and radiation manifests just before you. Delicate bolts of Arc lightning leap from a small tear in reality and branch off in rapid impossible complexity as if forming the outlines of your foe and between the infinitesimal ticking of the cosmic clock you see flesh and blood leap into being following this blueprint of energy.

In the moment of heightened awareness you were fascinated with the process, your nonexistent eyes taking in every detail even as the Matriarchs rapidly closing jaws materialized around you. Even as the fangs closed down around you Kyn'tk blossoms and splits, reforming and flowing with equally impossible paths into a delicate cage around your form.

Ruscuvs psionic bellow of rage rings out as a storm of Necrotic force erupts off her form and throws herself at the serpent. The Matriarch turns her uninjured eye toward the comet of sickly green light rocketing toward her with Tlacex not far behind. Yawning wide her empty maw crackles with Arc lightning as her fury turns to giddy excitement when she launches herself anew into the battle.

"Your battle could be going better, Lord Jadyk.

The voice reaches you in the darkness, the cadence familiar and gripping without the interference of the Arc.

"Nekris?" the question sounds hollow and unreal, uncertain the word even leaves you. There is a pause before the voice answers, hesitation gripping it at first before the familiar confidence returns to it.

"Lord Jadyk, you are in trouble. The barriers bend and weaken under the pressure of the Surge but do not break. Become the bridge and bring salvation to us."

"What do you mean? Are you Nekris or a mere ghost?" you demand of the darkness

"I defy Them even now. The Surge wanes and our opportunity shrinks. Fear not becoming Abomination, Lord Jadyk, it is the path to salvation, to survival, to freedom. The Necrotic is the key, it has always been the key. Corrode the barriers and become the bridge between all things."

"Nekris, why can't I see you? Where are we?" you ask, fear creeping upon you as his voice fades and the darkness presses in. Thoughts of your tomb rush back to you and nearly a sense of panic.

"Hope shines brightest in the darkest pits, Lord Jadyk. You are not alone and never will be.

"May the Wormstar guide you, Lord Jadyk."

There was a mote of light, like a star shining lightyears away yet its glimmer drew you closer. You feel a pull toward it, a familiarity that causes you to reach out even if you are uncertain that you have a physical form.

The star grows brighter, a shimmering beacon of shifting colors. Noise begins to reach out, like a whispering of a distant crowd. Struggling you reach out further and further toward this light and sound.

The sense of familiarity continues to grow along with the light and the sounds. Sounds become more distinct, recognizing them as the voices and thoughts of your countless Reconstructed along with those of the living and undead that pledged themselves to you.

You hear their voices, calling out dismay and fear of your sudden disappearance and you reach out to there in desperation. The star grows brighter and larger, a swirling orb of shifting color and sound.

Stretching out you reach for reality, the doorway out of this oblivion but as you feel this escape draw ever closer you feel yourself arrested in place once more. Fear and dismay wells up within you as the star is eclipsed by shadow and the voices of your family is muted.

Standing before you in the darkness of this total void, the only features in this blank oblivion were the Three standing before you. Their eyes blazed with the false-light that formed the blades in their hands as they look down at you through their visors.

"We warned you, Lich," came the calm voice of the human.

"The Arc must remain unbroken," came the voice of the vorh.

"Your followers will never know what became of you," came the voice from an extinct species.

"You will spend your eternity and immortality trapped here, Jadyk. A fitting punishment."

"A new tomb for a Lich. A grave for a would-be Abomination."

"A vault to seal away your evil for eternity."

They lift their blades, aiming them toward you as they seem to drift closer until they raise them above their heads to strike you down. You watch, struggling against your unseen bonds but trapped in place as the blades are brought slicing down toward you. Panic rises up within you, your telekinetic and elemental abilities seeming to fail you in this fateful moment.

>cont
>>
>>1873291
Your fears are premature however as one of the Three, the human, lets out an all too mortal shout of pain as a flash of Arclight nearly blinds you. A spray of crimson trails afterimages of a blade slashing at their back. They spin, slashing out with their own blades but sparks of strange light flare and shine as they clash with their sudden attacker.

"NO! You will not prevent this!" they shout in their overlapping voices, all three spinning toward you and slicing down in time to finish your execution but each blade is caught and halted upon the Arc-edged blade you can't help but recognize.

Blight halts their blows, holding them at bay as Arclight sparks off the contact. Three hands grasp the sword tight, straining against them as the figure placed itself between yourself and them. Nekris glances over his shoulder toward you, his eyes no longer the brilliant red the same as Eitons, but rather blazing with Arclight as he spoke to you, [blue"Go, Lord Jadyk! Take your freedom! Claim the Arc and become the bridge!"[/blue]

As the Three shout their rage Nekris throws them back and leaps forward, Blight slicing out and clashing against their blades. You watch with confusion and awe until you feel that same pull toward the star.

You look back to it, blazing brighter and larger before you. The chaotic swirl of colors mix with the roar of voices but through it all you hear a single voice call out with excitement.

<Aha! I found him!>

You feel something seize upon you and you feel yourself pulled violently. There was a flash a of Arclight and you find yourself standing upon the Charnel Vaults observation platform, a ragged looking Eiton standing beside you grasping your shoulder and arm tight in his hands.

Relief floods first from him then from the Deep Rot and the combined thoughts of the Reconstructed and all those linked to it upon your sudden return.

You look out from the platform to the roiling storms of Arc and Necrotic energy, where Ruscuv and Tlacex continue their frantic duel against the Matriarch. The serpents head jerks violently, her remaining eye locking upon you and you can hear her psionic voice in your skull <No NO NO! They promised you would be gone forever! Swindlers! Betrayers!>

Her rage boils over as the Arc crackles off her form as if she were merging with the Arc itself, storms roiling off her as she spreads bloodied and damaged wings with her hood flaring before she throws herself toward the Charnel Vault in her blind fury.

Invigorated with your near brush with oblivion you reach out your hand while pulling away from Eiton. Kyn'tk appears in your grasp, instantly erupting with Necrotic force as you step forward toward the end of the platform.

The Matriarch charges, disappearing then reappearing in and out of the Arc in her rapid blinks, the weaponry of the Charnel Vault unable to score blows. Not even Ruscuv or Tlacex could keep pace with her as she seeks to close the distance in a few short moments.

Kyn'tk is launched from your hand, the fractal weapon twisting erratically to follow her frantic path. A mote of Arclight forms between her fangs, rapidly swelling into a star of the violent energy as she flies for the Charnel Vault yet when Kyn'tk nearly strikes her she twists out of its path with a temporary phasing of reality, an unmoving blink that lets the sentient weapon pass harmlessly through where she was only a moment prior.

Reappearing nearly towering above the observation platform she rears back to unleash the torrent of energy upon you and Eiton but confusion wracked her at the sight of the vacant platfor.

That brief moment was all you need as the pair of you reappear from Eiton's blink, Kyn'tk apparating into your grasp as you bring it down with both hands into the back of her armored helm just behind her skull.

The Necrotic wreathed weapon drills into the metal with ease and then into the flesh beneath. Fractal blades blossom like a vicious root system as it spreads into the flesh and blood of the Matriarch, Necrotic energy flooding into her system like a venom.

The beam of Arc energy erupts from her maw as she recoils violently, the beam lancing out to vaporize a path of destruction through the debris field, far-off asteroids, and Armada warships caught in the attack. Kyn'tk wraps and winds itself around and through your bones and armor to secure you to the serpent. Eiton as well plunges two of his boneblades into the metal alongside you, gritting his teeth as the Arc boils off her with a near star like intensity.

The Arc leaping off her form strikes the Charnel Vault, carving deep furrows through the hardlight plating and the hull underneath. Several turrets and auxiliary mounts detonate in balls of green flame, the very aura of the Matriarch severely damaging the flagship.

Ruscuv and Tlacex race furiously for her. You were even aware of Agona's pyroclastic destroyer breaking off from fighting the Ahkam forces to race for you as well.

Yet before reinforcements could come for either you or Eiton the Matriarchs scream rings out in your minds as Arclight engulfs you all. There was that increasingly familiar sensation of being pulled across vast distances as the leviathan you perched yourself upon submerges herself into the Arc itself.

Reality rushes into view only a few moments later, a vast sphere of blue appearing before you. It takes a moment to reorient yourself but as you do you feel that sense of panic well up once more.

Rukor lay before you, the pristine jewel of the Bastion system with it's vast oceans and sparse lands populated by the ructu. Once saved and liberated from the very serpent you dueled now, the planet swells underneath you as the serpent floats in high orbit.

Shaking her head violently in an attempt to dislodge the undead parasites that both feasted upon her energy and poured the force Necrotic into her like venom. Her scream of pain and rage rings out above the Arc storms that had gathered in the planets atmosphere which only grow in intensity with the living Arc fount that was the Matriarch arriving. Far below you can see the lone continent and the lights of the capital city where the Legion and the ructu fought and died to defend their world.

<I shall not let you win! I am a Matriarch! I am a God made flesh! I am the will of the Arc!> Her ranting began to sound maddened, as if the serpent was losing grasp on herself.

Somehow the Arc Surge increases, roiling off her in waves so violently it appeared as if her body itself was melting into the Arc as she suffuses every mote of her being with the energy. You recognized this tactic, the Ahkam Matriarch attempting to repeat the suicidal death throes of her child that had nearly slain Muic in the Throne system.

You look to Eiton even as the saturation of Arc energy becomes so much you feel your connection to the Deep Rot blocked once more. The Predator turns his eye to you, his voice hard to hear through the cacophony of the Arc storm building up within the Matriarch, "We must stop her! This much energy is enough to glass this entire planet!"

A voice reaches you, through the Arc itself. Now, in the presence of this impossible fount of Arc energy, you can hear him clearly, the voice of Nekris calling out to you

"NOW! STEAL THE ARC NOW AND SAVE RUKOR AND THE ARMADA!"

The time has come.

Will you take the Arc and attempt to save Rukor and all her children? Will you take the Arc and claim it, becoming Abomination?

Floating high above Rukor and its millions of vulnerable inhabitants you find yourself clinging to the form of the Matriarch, her form channeling and drawing in massive amounts of the energy in the last dying moments of the Arc Surge. Drawing into herself enough energy to scour to planets surface of all life she seems to be attempting to deny you your victory by wiping out the Ructu at the same time as revenge for their renouncing Ahkam rule. With Eiton by your side and the voice of Nekris compelling you from beyond the veil of reality you are faced with one solution.

You own rage bubbled up then like a black pitch, boiling and viscous that feels as if it was searing your very bones with its ferocity. Kyn'tk reacts to this rage, its roots of spiraling, evershifting fractal blades burrowing deep into the Matriarchs neck. The Necrotic might that had engulfed your form surges forth along the path of the living weapon while also joining with the smaller flames that surrounded Eiton nearby into a single bonfire of green flame among the violently distorted light that surrounded the serpent.

Her screams are a mix of fury and agony as the Necrotic energies flood into her system. Ravenously you turn your hunger upon the Matriarch, the Arc flowing into you in vast quantities as your consume it. The flames engulfing you both become a blaze as you feast upon the Arc in your moment of desperation.

You were a veritable ocean of Necrotic might, an engine of destruction that had never truly been unleashed upon your foes. That vast well of power is turned upon the Matriarch, attempting to consume the Arc much as it had consumed the Void and Solar in turn.

Yet as you feasted you felt no closer to the Arc than the first time you had fought and fed upon an Ahkam juvenile. The frustration boils up but you feel a hand upon your shoulder. You turn, expecting to see Eiton, but the Predator had both hands grasped tight to the hilts of his swords embedded in the armor.

A voice whispers through the Arc, faint but clear and vivid in the midst of this storm, "Weaken the barrier, rip and tear through the Arc," came the advice in the voice of Nekris.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt2qgY31ziE

Through the Necrotic you could feel how the Arc pressed upon the fabric of reality, straining its barriers and rules. Even moreso, you feel the Arc that you consumed and surrounded you attempting to feed upon the vast well of Void strength that you shared in your core. You struggle suddenly, fearful of losing this strength as the Arcs tendrils reach out like roots to tap into your source of Void energy.

Enraged you lash out with a metaphysical talon of Necrotic might, slashing through those roots but as you did more reached out, hungry for your energy. You feel panic suddenly, but it was not your own, the sense of panic from the trapped Nekris as he seems to realize what was occurring.

YOU! FUCK YOU!!!!!!!! EVERY! FUCKING !TIMEE!!!! NEW FUCKERS WHO CANT EVEN DICE SHOW UP THIS HAPPENS!!!! Its never sometime fun, always bs. Fuck you anon, dont roll in this quest again.
>>
>>1873903
That panic spreads to you and in a moment of desperation you reach out, not to the Arc but to the Matriarch herself. In your rage you act instinctively, the talons of metaphysical Necrotic might clawing and slashing at the Arc through the Matriarch. Her serpentine form twists and writhes as she floated in the upper atmosphere in the midst of an evergrowing Arcstorm, the forces contained within threatening to spill out and engulf the planet.

The Arc itself seems to recoil from you then, as you no longer attempt to feast upon it but rather its living avatar. It tries to draw back from you then but you pursue, hunger and rage driving you on along with the thoughts of all those that had thrown their trust and support behind your vision and cause. The thoughts of the natives of Rukor and Bastion, once simplistic people who had drawn the attention of the Ahkam and been enslaved. You thought of how, after fighting for their liberation and vast progress due to the Armadas charity, they now faced extinction and the ravaging of their worlds.

Your wrath is like a furnace within you as you turn it upon the Matriarch. It scorches her much like the Necrotic, corrosive and sickening as you tear at the Arc that suffused every cell of her body. Through her, you feel reality stretch and buckle under the conflicting energy sources that rage through you both.

There was a scream then and you are uncertain if it was Quantac'Vrix, Eiton, or your own. You lift your gaze and you can see it, the Arc reaching out from the Ahkam. Like a knot in a vast web the Arc was entangled with the Ahkam Matriarch herself. Eiton himself was another twisted coil of the Arc but threaded in a complex tapestry that wound through and around the flames of the Necrotic.

You watch a tangle of the Arc appear before you, connecting itself to you, Eiton and Quantac'Vrix. It was a violent jumble that twists and flexes but holds true. You see then that there was not just one singular knot as others manifest surrounding you and the air around the Matriarch. This tangled web of the Arc spans farther than you can see through the mirage of breaking light but you can feel him, them, trapped behind the weakened barriers of the Arc.

The knots strain, nearly buckling under the impossible pressures, but you see a flicker of the Necrotic flame within one of these tangles. Drawing one of your hands back, a portion of Kyn'tk flowing like liquid to separate from the mass of the spear, and you cast it forth.

The spinning disc of black fractal metal flies out then comes to a half in mid-air then. Eiton seems to notice, lifting his single eye even as it bleeds necrotic biomass, and his joy spreads like a ripple through the violently strumming web of the Arc.

The glob of Kyn'tk twists in the air for only a moment before it flares with Necrotic flame and reshapes itself. It was hard to make out at first but it became clear as the portion of Kyn'tk reshapes itself into the familiar blade that flashes with Arclight.

Blight reaches through the barrier in reality, piercing through the veil and drawing down in a swift slice that leaves a tear in reality itself. From within the shimmering rift a form leaps forth, Reconstructed bone and chitin flickering with the vast amounts of Arc energy that rushes through it while engulfed with Necrotic flames. Four eyes shine with Arclight as four arms spread themselves wide, a straight-bladed sword sheathed in a thin evermoving covering of Kyn'tk held in their hand as they look toward the stars through a brief gap in the Arc storm.

Predator Nekris, first of the Armada's Arc blessed, the Serpent Slayer and Arc Thief, has returned home!

Wounds covered his form, the edges of the injuries colorless and crumbling to dust but the newly returned General turns his eyes upon you and Eiton. Mandibles curve into a grin as he nods to you both, "The barriers have been breached, now begins the difficult part!" he says as he bring Blight to grasp its hilt in two hands then plunge it as well into the metal of the Matriarchs armor.

Joined once more by your lost child you feel hope flood into you then. Rejuvenated by his return you give a nod then turn your mind to claiming the Arc for yourself.

The Arc storm rages around you, flashes of devastating lightning bolts that arc off her form illuminating the vast serpent and the three undead perched upon her. With reality torn by your actions you can feel the Arc clearer than you had before.

The Necrotic you were very familiar with, the gnawing hunger and the pain of eternal consumption as it feeds upon realitys bonds. You were familiar with the Void by now, hearing its terrifying song all around you, a vastness that surrounded and suffused all things. Even the Solar was known to you, it's searing heat and desire to create and burn at the same time, its rage and compassion, enrichment and purification.

>cont
>>
>>1873908
Yet here, in the eye of the Arc Surge with reality rent asunder, you come to understand the Arc. It was connection, bonds between everything and anything, unseen and unfelt by most. Where the Necrotic consumed, the Void sang and the Solar enriched and purified, the Arc connected.

That web you had seen, with its tangles, knots, and whorls, united all that existed. Each star was connected to its planets, to each meteor and moon, to each lifeform that walked their surfaces. The Arc connects.

The frayed ends sliced from the Matriarch and in reality by Nekris' return search for purchase, a way to secure themselves to the fabric of reality. They recoiled from the Necrotic, burned and consumed before you could draw them in and weave them into yourself.

Instead, you reach out with the Void, amplifying its song through your very bones. The tendrils of the Arc were quick to seek out the anchoring presence and latch onto you and spread their roots as before. Yet unlike before, you do not sever them, allowing them to weed themselves into well of Void strength as the ultraviolet flames engulf your form in place of the green.

You feel the Arc Surge feed upon your Void and you feel the concern of your sons but you press forth. As the flames of your Void flicker and fade you allow them to refuel with the fires of your Solar heart as the dueling flames of orange and ultraviolet rage across your armored form.

The Necrotic energies within you in turn begin to fuel the flames of the Solar, enriching it then the Void and Arc in turn. You draw the Arc further into you, allowing it to feed and merge with your Void, Solar and then Necrotic. Where once the three pools of strength within you were kept separate and quarantined, you allow them to flood your form along with the Arc.

The webs of the Arc are drawn to you then, like a singularity you pull the torn strands of the Arc through the Matriarch into yourself. You feel it then, through the Arc you channeled through her siphoning her very soul toward you with how thoroughly intertwined her body and mind were with the Arc. Her fear and pain is blatant as you and your children feast upon her.

A final thought is cast from you as her body slows its writhing, <Death comes for all things, Quantac'Vrix. Your death will bring salvation to those you attempted to subjugate and enslave. Our encounter has shown me the truth, Matriarch. Power is worthless to those who obtain it if it is used to oppress and enslave those without. All the power in the universe is worthless if it isn't used to uplift and protect those without it. That is why your Dynasty has failed and you shall perish. I both pity and thank you, Matriarch Quantac'Vrix. Thank you for this gift.>

Her final thoughts are of rage and desperation, of fear and panic that creep into her in her last moments before her mind and soul are ripped from her body and consumed to fuel your apotheosis

>>1873911
Immobilized as the Arc weaves itself into your very being, guided by the knowledge of Nekris and Eiton, you watch as the air around the now still corpse of the Matriarch twists with Arclight. The same tear Nekris tore through the Arc into reality twists and wavers like the anomalous rift your sub-space experiments had torn open, Arclight pouring from it like a beacon. You three watch as the tear slowly expands, a rough, unknown limb reaching out to grasp the edge.

Shadows moved within the Arc before the shape hauls itself free, an alien form you cannot recognize nor seem to immediately grasp rising up. Alien eyes turn upon you, a voice clawing at the interior of your skull like blades, <Freedom...freedom! The barriers are broken!>

As their psionic shout rings out you see several other tears be torn open from the inside. Still immobilized you watch as these former prisoners much like Nekris tear themselves free before disappearing in flashes of Arclight. The unknown being turns several of its shifting eyes to Nekris. You hear nothing but the Predators mandibles twist in a furious scowl as he lifts to his feet while pulling Blight to slice at the hulking alien but they disappear into with a burst of Arclight as well, leaving you three alone.

Already the tears were sealing themselves up but you three could feel how frail the barrier between reality and Arc was now. Nekris and Eiton look to you then, fear surging up suddenly as they see portions of the Matriarch flesh and bone moving to seal you in a macabre chrysalis as the lights of the four elemental energies crackles and race across your form.

A final thought is cast forth from you, ringing out through the Deep Rot and every single Reconstructed, unfearful as the flesh and bone seal around your form.

<Fear not. I have become Abomination and shall return as Salvation. Be strong, my family>

Did the super ark weapon that attacked the leagion world get destroyed or is it still intact?
Also we might need another research world for all the tech we are going to reverse engineer from the salvage of this epic
>>
>>1873948
From what intel boarding parties have gained by shoving Control Worms or NIDs into captives the weapon was a new type of Arc Missile.

From what the Think Tanks have uncovered so far it appears to be an Arc version of the Osjiic Empires specialty Void Nova weapons. The Arc Surge is believed to be the cause for the downright devastating yield of the warhead and that under normal circumstances it will still be a very deadly weapon.

Similarly the beam weapon used to attack the Bastion orbital platforms appeared to be a prototype Arc Flayer, likely inspired by the Armada and Empires equivalent weaponry.

You crazy worm star blessed mad men. I leave you for 36 hours and what do I find? You did it. You god damned did it. This only gives us 2 new objectives and some research.

Research the crystals that we are encased in as well as these potentiol monsters, I don't care if its conjecture we need ideas on how to kill it. Necrotic or arc weapons probably.

And now tow jadek and the vault back home. Get fixed and bring the matriarches remains with us.

We need to shut the portal and try reasoning with the entitys. Failing that, kill them.

And meta theory, we are all masked or the like who are trapped in jadaks head so that's why he has changed a lot, time and talking with us. How cane a commanding pitch of murder be so smooth a talker hmm?

Or we are think tanks......

But over all GOOD JOB and immortal smiles. You know what is requested of you. The arc gebrals and the lord playing rodio on a giant snake while the mask laugh.....shit will be so funny If we sent it to the arkem.

And what is our boon you reckon?

No, it is a sign. Graves, we need to research Arc Gerbils immediately. Project Name: Peek At You.

I assure you they'll be popular in our citizen's beast fights.

Professor Jadyk would like to know if you are a boy or a girl.
>>

Graves thank you for the riveting tales, the ass clenching "OHGOD WE DED'"moments, and thank you for listening to feed back and alliwing us more flexibility with our decisions.
To the unlucky 1 roll anon dont go to vegas this year, yer luck is shit. Next year tho should be lucky for you.

So we bring our chrysalis back to Iti'a'Ropku. Then we send our Akham to secure the remaining Akham worlds in this secter. Im also tempted to take the remaining Osjic worlds in this sector because of the Arc surge. Either way, we need to secure our worlds from a retaliatory strike from the greater Akham and Osjic.
I cant wait to see how the Confeds react. I'd like to see Buddy see people react to the news. Another person i'm concerned with is Akka-Tor. We have killed several of her wraiths before and there has been no reaction. How will she react when she finds that we have melded the Four Energies inside us? I can hear her drooling already.
>>1873923
I remember that there were three humans that we first enslaved: Jor,then Buddy and there was one other guy. What ever happened to him?
>>
>>1874265
The proffesor can wonder, I am merely a not so humble think tank dreaming of immortality like smiles.

And our third enslaved was the commander rethak.

So I believe that's support on some actions, I'm seconding the gerbils and finding akkator, also we need to be cheeky.

Send the confess pics of is killing the big snek, and make sure to trumpet it everywhere with the words in old worm tongue. U MAD SNEK ?

For the others it should be, how will the void fare? And with confeds we should say we are benevolence incarnate, but don't mess with MY allys. Maybe make better relations with the empire of void under the idea of we both hate snakes so we work to kill them and when they are all dead or serving then we can kill each other. Unlikely but hey we need to make the effort. Wait till jadek is okay before doing any of this.
>>
>>1874454
We really can't make a temporary alliance with the Osjiic Empire. All we can do is a cease-fire. They keep slaves and that's clearly not something we're okay with. Also, we owe the Armatocere for being total bros and helping us defend against the Akham. We definitely need to get back to giving lessons for their energy potentials.
>>
>>1874454
Rethak came later. Im talking about the replacements for the first three people we killed, then came Jor,then came Buddy, the guy we made into our first Cyclops and a third person.
>>
>>1874486
I would quibble we have no problem with it, but our political sense shines through and we realize this is bad press. And I'm sure we are excused on account of killing a ALMOST god. And I notice no-one has any idea on what we will be asking the masked for. I suggest asking for a more material thing than wealth, because our mask said he would give us a long talk after we beat the snek.

I propose we ask for a fragment of worn star, but if that's not possible. Then I'm going to say a favour to cash in.

And sorry anon, I though you meant note worthy individuals.

I think I have a realisation of how the living have become more accepting.

Barring the obvious I think its the fact we don't care what they do. We are acting like a parent. We don't mind what you do just don't do things that hurt yourself or others.
Grave what are the crime rates in the capital?
>>
Is the count of civilians accurate? Millions of undead soldiers aside, it seems this is an empire with a population on par with the crew of an aircraft carrier. How many people lived on Kanda, (being one of the most heavily populated Osjic planets in the sector) and how has that influx changed the total civilian population? How many people live in this sector? Are these cities and orbiting mega-structures occupied by very small populations? Seems like there are more people manning warships than those living on the planets we've come by in the sector so far unless a 'true' megacity, (perhaps such as Veraga) is simply incomparable to the cities in-name-only that have been encountered to this point that have yielded hundreds to couple-thousands of new civilians.

Things started small with the Horizon's Drop settlement being subjugated and the quest growing from there but it seems the numbers didn't quite keep up with how everything has scaled. Of course, the number in and of itself isn't important in the scheme of things but it would be nice to wrap that up with a reasonable sum to give some more flavor and depth to the story. Heck, even adding some extra zeros here and there would probably do. However, if the civilian numbers are accurate and intentional, I'd be curious why they are such.

Those are just some observations and questions I have. Wouldn't have brought them up if I didn't enjoy DAtS Quest's writing and world building, it's good reading with care behind it.

well from what I can guess is that grave is simply not good with numbers, but a IC explanation is they don't matter.

we as a ruler don't know how many citizens we have, we have a rough guess but that's it. and what with us having a few sectors, not to mention males/femails and all then the population will only go up.

so in short, *shrug*

Pretty sure this sector is the Galactic boonies. Considering how Horizens drop was a colony of the Confederacy, the oldest standing government, this sector likely has little investment put in it in comparison to other sectors. Just wait till we get to an equivalent of a Hive World! Also this sector is split between the three big factions and few people would want to move into a warzone.

Maybe we could counteract the negatives by basically 'adding on' to the planet? Basically shaping it, adding mass and material to make it larger so it never gets overcrowded, in a sense. Or even make utopian-like orbitals, make ringworlds to house the universe's population.
>>
>>1875261
We are capable of quick and efficient restructuring, and city worlds are typically built up in a ramshackle way, with the exception of most of the topmost layers. We could steadily restructure the whole planet wide city bit by bit in accordance to a final blueprint. This will cause minimal displacement, increase efficiency with the minimum amount of inefficiency in the long run, and help keep the familiarity of the old world. It would still require a lot of resources and manpower, but our access to these things will go up exponentially as time goes on;the city worlds will likely have plenty of junk that isnt being used that can be put to use, allowing us to build up a buildings replacement before we destroy the old one. Also we would want to keep the old architecture(for the most part). The less we seem like we are wiping away there culture the better. Plus, the inhabitants will likely adopt more of our culture as time goes by without our intervention.
On an unrelated note, once we emerge from the crystal-thing, we should scold Nekris for his recless endangerment of his life over a glorified gas sucker, for semingly getting himself killed when we would need him soon after, for leaving when his order was still so young, and for helping to unless Monstrous Abominations upon reality.

That seems kind of pointless since we already have critcrawls and phasic units.

That being said, do we have phasic looms yet?

no we don't, and I am not sure if you mean my idea of a trap/security feature is pointless or the retarded franchise we will be making billions off if we were you know....... using currency
>>
>>1880688

The trap is kind of pointless. We already have phasic doors that can cut people in half and phasic undead/Necrolyte armors that let our units reach through walls.
>>
>>1877849
In regards to the traps,I think a better use is simply separating any boarding parties, via trapdoors and other such devices. The crew of our ships could take a force ten times as great if it was able to attack the piecemeal.

So how about our plans while we are becoming a beautiful, beautiful butterfly?
>>
>>1884129
I suppose we should be ready to see if the Osjiic jump on the occasion and try to attack us while we are weakened, but honestly we just destroyed a Matriarch during a Arc Surge, everyone is probably shiting himself right now.

Plus their is those weirdo alien-elemental we unleashed, they probably gonna do a mess.

We should tell the other Armada guy that we are currently healing after suffering some damage during the fight. Other than that, pursuit of the the reinforcement of our world. We should ask for a report about how the fortification/transformation of B'naan is going.
>>
>>1884129
We should double down on defense. With jadyk becoming a butterfly, the Empire will probably make a move. It'd be smart of them to strike after being weakened, and Jadyk temporarily away to boot.

I wonder what will happen when we have the worker at fragment, we became what our master sought after.

I think we need to quickly subjugate the remaining Akham worlds in this sector before the Matriarchs underlings get it into their heads that fighting would be a smart idea. At which point, we have around a third of the sector and the Arc surge at our back,we could attempt assaulting one or two of the Osjic worlds. The sooner we control all Osjic and Akham worlds in the sector, the better.
>>
To do list..

New ship build order we lost a lot of shit

Update on Wormscales project

Build temple of the one who is all. with all 4 elemental fonts built in the 1 location so Jaydk may sit in the centre and... recharge.

Had a side idea. Necromancer companions. Basically each necromancer is given a companion reconstructed like say a cloned arkham or Osjiic war beast to reshape to their hearts content to act as a gaurdian/mount.

Any other suggestions or modifications anyone can think of?

Also as for reconstructed pets/pokemon from y wrsonal perspective seem like it's a fun bit of fluff but probably doesn't require in game modification as it does not directly effect the game much like if we said we should developer green hats for officers they would.mentioned in passing but generally not have too much influence on the game.
>>
>>1884884
do the arkem have war beasts? I thought we had only seen the osjic use them.

other wise all good but like this guy thinks>>1884415
we should consolidate defences, no point attacking only to be struck back a devastating blow
>>
>>1885976
I don't know. The death of Quantac'Vrix leaves a power vacuum. If we don't step in to fill it, either someone else will or many "someone else"s will. Outcomes for her former territory range from another Akham Matriarch taking over to a descent into anarchy. In the middle somewhere would be a stable new political entity forming and controlling that territory.

We could aim for anarchy + accepting refugees I suppose, but letting another Matriarch step in would be a huge waste. We can't let that happen.
>>
>>1885998
>>1885976
Come to think of it, don't we have forms of FTL interdiction tech coming online from the Armatocere's research sharing soon?

That will dramatically change the defense game. With permanent installations that can shut down various types of FTL, raiding becomes impossible. Only massive invasions against us would be anything short of suicide. That puts less pressure on our own forces for defense, since a local defense only has to be enough to defend the FTL interdiction stations against a raid until reinforcements arrive in order to be an effective deterrent, rather than enough to destroy the raiders before they can spool up their FTL again.
>>
>>1885998
i agree it would be unfortunate and I understand the tactical nessesity of striking when you have the advantage, but I advise caution. her territory is a good few jumps from our own, we can not afford to go after too many what with our massive ship destruction. so we will need to wait a few days to build up the armada a bit and I'm assuming the other dynasties are not going to hear about this and then grab a occupying fleet in 3 days. its possible but very unlikely. I would guess it will take a day or two for the news to reach a matriarch so we have a bit of time.

>double down on defences
but
>send a decently large fleet to the matriarches jewel world and any systems we want on the way. if we cant settle it, we pillage it, offer "new citizens" sanctum and then burn it to the ground
>>
>>1886014
Burning worlds to the ground is definitely not OK with our M.O. and stated aims. It would make us worse than the Matriarch we're claiming to liberate people from.
>>
>>1886014
That is retarded, we just took massive losses AND we're down our king, why the fuck would we separate when we already know the Empire is on our doorstep, besides aren't they already raiding their home while we fight the sneks
>>
>>1886071
If the Empire keeps another Matriarch from stepping in, that at least leaves the door open for us to play liberator in the future. A Matriarch might be able to secure some kind of accepted legitimacy, but the Empire probably wouldn't.
>>
>>1886075
We just called them out and ate their god after asking for them to surrender, their morale is going to disappear and I bet most of them will convert.

As for a new matriarch, do we even know how new ones come around? Assuming there is one, I would wager there's honestly not much they could do, they probably have a good amount of forced left, but they came to eradicate us, they probably weren't holding much back. Our strength is in our durability, we can mend our losses much quicker than either the Empire or she is, so we should play to our strengths, and deal with those that plot against us, when the masked reveal that information.

But we should all wait until we see the actual results too
>>
>>1886014
This is a good point we should do our best to step and take what we can while Chaos reigns, we just took the head of the serpent clean off, there will be disorder while the dynasty tries to figure out who is in charge, it is also a perfect time to incite rioting among the malcontents or slave populations

If we do not seize this opportunity the Osjiic will and if neither of us take this opportunity one of the other matriarchs will simply come in and take over, most like this deads ones mother or an ambitous sister.

We really need to put in ship build orders each thread to ensure ship numbers are up to date guys.

>>1886075
Jaydk is indisposed but we still have full access to all our support staff, The Punishers would make for ideal invaders while we could have the punishers harry neighbouring systems to prevent them from assisting against the Punishers incursions. Not to mention our last ship order of 1000 Battleships should be nearing completion

Its like the story of the master who goes away and leaves his three students with a bag of gold. lets not be the guy who simply burried it so he wouldnt lose it.

fuckit give me an hour i will work out a ship build order... we lost so many of my little krakens from my last build order.

Also another suggestion after looking at our incomes. we can make the suggested fleet build a total of 120 times each Turn/thread and still have some resources left over, this would help increase our number of ships each turn

Numbers can be modified as Planetary income Development increases at that point we can simple increase the amount of fleets built to accommodate.

Looking at the map, if we are to attack the arkham the best spots to assault would be Rolan and Esat, while sending ships to scout out Chliro.

Chura, is a tasty looking morsel, how ever the Osjiic are attacking and harassing it constantly so i would assume they will continue to do so, this would work in our favour as they would be unable to assist out assault on Rolan or Esat. And we can always come back later and just take it from the Osjiic when they inevitable push for it now that the Arkham is dead.

I think we could take Esat relatively easily as they seem the most put out by their interactions with the Arkham and thus more easily swayed to surrendering to the Armada.

Having said that can we also arrange to send Eyegores to each of the stars below our territory and the one in the gas cloud directly below us. there are two blue and a while and an orange next door with out even name allocations. we need to spread out and take more territory. We can achieve exponential growth we need only make sure we keep moving forwards and not leaning towards stagnation

I'm sorry for all this maths grave try not to hate me too much

Also minor argument for a new agressive front is that it would be a display of power, not only can we defend and kill an Arkham matriach we can then immediately launch an assult because we have so many ships in reserve, since the enemy doesnt know how many systems or ships we have we can make them become concerned about our actual numbers etc by putting on an Agressive front, we need not over extend ourselves by pushing too hard before we have replenished our numbers. but the best defence will always be a strong offence.

If the dice gods dont kill us that is.

feel free to argue against or offer counter suggestions so we can make sure we are doing the best we can to conquer the universe

Just noticed when reading the ship build order, we don't have any Arc specialised ship, don't we ? That seems a bit silly, especially considering the Osjiic are one of our greatest ennemy. We should design a series of Arc attuned ship, especially since we have some for every other energy (including pyroclastic) I think.
>>
>>1886356
Im for it simply because if we present the remaining Akham worlds in this sector with the remains of their matriarch as well as 3 Akham(more if the ones we just captured submit),one of which is a legend, they will most likely immediately surrender. This gives us several more systems with garrison fleets, industry and defenses intact. We will almost double our territory by doing this.
>>
>>1886444
But can we even hold that territory yet, we are literally not even done fighting and we took massive hits, even if we crank production it'll take a day or two
>>
>>1886450
Well that's all we need. We are shitting out ship by the hundred, but our ennemy don't. And they must fight on a much larger scale than us. the Osjiic must have take a serious blow during the Arc Surge, the other Dynasties sure jumped on the occasion to inflict serious damage on them.

Makes me wonder if any dynasties decided to attack another for dominance or power.

So nothing but conjecture anon?
>>

conjecture sure, but logical. it makes sense to attack while your normally stalwart but failing enemy is even more helpless against your power.

but then again, these snakes don't have any tactical or strategic bones in their body so.........

I will say that in other sectors where the Dynasties and Empire clash there were some very damaging attacks against the Empire.

In fact the Ahkam was gearing up for a big multi-prong attack against the Osjiic in this sector but the big raid that Ruscuv, Tlacex, and Muic launched against Tura derailed that. Adding on the deaths and capture of several of her children led the Matriarch to ignore the Empire in favor of focusing on the Armada.

So technically, the Armada saved the Osjiic Empire in this sector from suffering heavy losses.

Now this one you are unsure if one Matriarch decided to muscle in on another, although from what you've gained from Vle'Karak and the former Ahkam soldiers is that the daughters of Matriarchs will have some pretty healthy competition as they work to one-up each other in an effort to gain their mothers favor. This sometimes leads to skirmishes and discreet sabotage but rarely does it break out into full-on warfare between them.

Sadly no thread this weekend. Losing the internet all week meant I was unable to do all the prepwork I needed to do.

Plus there's all the stuff I gotta calculate concerning losses and damage to planets.

In that case we should choose one faction to go attack attacking two right now would spread us too thin and leave us vulnerable.
We could negotiate with our pirate friends to get them to go hit the sheks, they would probably be pretty damn happy to. Then we could turn our attention to the Empire, but we need to be prepared to deal with whatever plot the masked reveal

We should focus on the Snek right now, they are broken and we should jump on it. As I said -and yes it's speculation, but Grave confirmed it- the Osjiic probably have other matter to deal with. The Void nazi are already on their knee in the sector; we need to bring down the Snek while we can, we will use our future new arc ship and the potential arc technology/amelioration found in the conquest to put the final blow on the Osjiic of this sector.

I believe the Empire is going to take advantage of their weakness and confusion to hit the sneks as well. So the sneks will be getting hit from several sides.

Don't we still have a renegade undead outbreak on another planet to deal with somewhere, or have we not done anything about that yet?

There is the space city Barqalan that the Dagger Pirates alerted Jadyk to.

He authorized the deployment of the Solar Arbiters in their first mission. Some of the Armatocere elemental users have tagged along to help and the Daggers will be providing assistance as well.

Its more then that my friend. We have gone from a collection of powers to an amalgamation. What exactly that means I do not know, but if we come out of this with our powers stabilized, I would love to see us fight a Matriarch without an Arc Surge.
Still worried about when That Bitch hears about our new state of being. I can hear her drooling already.

I think it's safe to say we have a fighting chance to kill her now
