Well I hope its properly ep16 anyway. I honestly lost count by now.

Finally starting on time for a change! Didnt think we would have a thread this week or for a while because my HD died, and while changing stuff ended up changing the motherboard, the power supply, the RAM, the graphics card, and of course the HD, and even the mouse.

And then I couldnt connect to internet for about 9 hours... I even got stomach acid reflux from stressing. It was awful.

Anyway, forgive me if I am absent minded, but where were we? I think we were about to go to the building site for the Alquian empire super dreadnought with Mako?

We wake up early, and kiss our beautiful fianceés gently awake. Mako clings to us with a hug, her soft body squishing itself against us for a bit as we share a nice, long passionate kiss.

"Uuuh... I have to go to the ministry..." - she pouts softly after letting go of our lips
"I'll pick you up for lunch, then we can go to inspect the ship."
"Yes, I'd like that." - she smiles while looking at us.

Ah, it's really hard to let her go...

Well I guess I'll just pick the fastest option since you aren't posting...?

***

We give her another kiss and then turn around as Aritsu hugs us from behind, sliding her arms down our shoulders. Then Lyann, and finally head all together to the bathroom for a nice morning shower.

All three of us take care of Mako, enjoying our lovely empress' beauty before washing ourselves, and then part as she leaves for the ministry as we leave for New Hope once more, and talk with their elder, a twice evolved succubus (called a Hecate, which seems even stronger than Sykia's Camilla).

Should I say "as expected from a succubus?". Even though she's technically the oldest succubus in town, she looks to be in her mid twenties, with every bit the figure you'd expect from her kind... with the exception that she happens to be the first 'nromal-colored' succubus we've ever seen.

I mean, Aura is blue/purple with black and gold here and there, Dawn is pink/purple with red and white details, Sykia is milky white and pale pink... you get the idea.

The matron is... well, she looks 'normal' I guess? Normal while still being a succubus, of course, which is to say, her pale skin seems to ooze with health and sex appeal, to the point that the little bit of cleavage (if it can even be called such) from the open neck of her shirt seems to pull our eyes in, and her eyes edge on the hypnotic.

"Yes, a dungeon, is it?" - somehow, the way she pronounces 'yes' seems so... lewd - "Yes, we could place it near the market, thus loot would be quickly brought to sell, or near the adventurer's guild, so materials can be sold there and then picked up by merchants."

She's wearing the complete school uniform assemble, but rather than a student, she's wearing a teacher's uniform... t-that's just unfair.

>>Market

Does it really make a difference?
>>
>>1910575
>Adventurer's guild
>>
>>1910615
Sure, if we place it in the market, adventurers can deal with the traders on a 1v1 basis and it reduces the power of the adventurer's guild, while lowering the prices of goods for the merchants and the general public. The adventurer's guild wont grow strong in this town, which means it cant offer many of its normal services like keystpnes for fast and safe escape from dungeons, and future local adventurers need to travel elsewhere to get their adventurer's ID or job changes... it affects a lot.

Placing it next to the adventuerr's guild also has its problems since it means the adventurers sell stuff to the guild and the guild then deals with merchants, adding a middle man and rising the prices of goods while disencouraging trade, which means the town will develop much slower and merchants won't be particularly itnerested in travelling to the town.

So yeah, it affects the future of the town in either case. That's why there's also a "Other" option in case you guys come up with an idea.
>>
>>1910634
Uhmmm somewhat resumed:

Near the adventurers guild -> safer for adventurers, slower economic growtrh

Near the market -> better prices, faster economic growth (assuming we want the town to grow into a trade-based economy. We are apparently setting it up as a industrial-based, export-aimed town at the moment with the glass works)

>>1910664
Yeah just noticed I actually started an hour earlier. Havent changed the computer time yet.

It seems i have to change the time zone now? I cant just change the hour like before... so many little shits that didnt need to change...

Anyway, I don't think placing it "in the middle" is even possible unless we take down the mill and some houses. Maybe as third option we could place it outside of the town so adventurers then go in and choose on their own where to go? Also, remember the dungeon is meant to naturally suck in [ERROR]s so its something of a safety feature as well.

Maybe with that in mind, place it near the residential sector? there's a lot of factors to consider when we start thinking about it
>>
>>1910686
Well, its a LOT more expensive on immediate terms, to begin with, and we would need to tear down the mill and the houses in the area to make room for the dungeon.

But if we are thinking of teleporting pads, is there a point on worrying about its location? We may as well just build teleporters to a wild/natural dungeon all the way across the world and it wouldnt make a difference, I guess? Actually that may not be a bad idea since that would also help trade a LOT by allowing quick travel to far away places, and the dungeons of other regions have exotic goods... ah nm, i remembered we are lookinmg for building a dungeon with a specific type of mobs to get a specific type of loot in the first place. Let's not place the cart before the horse
>>
>>1910689
If there's no open space between the market and guild, then placing it outside the town near the residential district is safest.

"Thanks, but I think we should build the fooddeon outside, and give people a bit more freedom in their choice of where to sell their hard earned loot."
"If you think that's for the best, yes?" - she agrees easily enough - "I take it you'll want to build the glassworks around it then, yes?"
"...right, that was the plan from the beginning."
"...alright, yes."

Well, it turns out for the better this way. I think.

So, we need staff to build us at least 10 floors of dungeon, if only we had someone good at digging, like those dwarven workers we already hired and have in town to build the glassworks furnace alrea... ah

An hour later, we made a deal with the dwarves sp they dig the dungeon for us in echange for a fee, whichs turns out good for everyone involved.

Alright, let's stop by home and pick up Miel. We haven't taken her anywhere for a while now.

Coming out from our garden's apple tree, we find Portia and Athena playing 'darts' in the garden, though their version is using magical toys to hit the target.

Since spending mana helps children build it up over time, our family got them a number of mana-powered toys that need to be powered for each use. In this case, the darts need 1mp each time you throw them so they leave a trail of light on their flight route.

Its literally just a cosmetic effect, but it certainly does the trick.

"Big brother, welcome home." -says Athena as we come out from the tree

She looks really pretty in her fluttery summer dress and mule sandals. Yup, she's going to be an amazing beauty when she grows up.

"I'm home." - we reply - "How are you two? Did you study already?"
"Yes" x 2
"I'll be leaving soon, I just came to pick up Miel for the day."
"Okay." - replies Portia.

She looks surprisingly cute in her school uniform. Well, her skirt mostly hangs in front of her torso, but with her palpii under it, it really looks like just a cute girl sitting on top of a giant spider somehow. Its quite interesting, visually.

We head to the greenhouse (its summer, so almost every window is open atm) and find it buzzing with activity as the workers tend to the exotic flowers in their pots.

Oh, all of them have proper classes and jobs now. Hn, that's nice.

About a dozen little faeries (in the sense that they're young children) fly over to us and pat pat our face with interest. These are probably newborns, which means we are strangers to them.

Waaait... Miel said she wouldn't have children with anyone but us so... ah, we haven't seen her for a while, and we were 'together' at that time so.... are these children, ours? Holy fuck are we a dad!?

unrelated: I finally got the skins to work. With the new version, they moved skins from themes to language & startup options... for some reason. I mean, for ME, a skin sounds like it should be in the theme section but what do I know... it only took me (a user of their program) a whole day to figure it out. With a friend helping over my shoulder, I may add.

"ah" - a few grownup workers do fly over after a while, and pull the children away while apologizing to us.

They're so small and their voices are so soft, we can't really hear them, but an apologetic young mom's body language is easy enough to understand as they bow and pick up their babies before going away.

Well... I guess it was to be expected if they're not monsters anymore. They (the workers) are not mindless drones anymore, but villagers, so it shouldnt surprise us that some of them started families of their own.

I wonder how it will affect the 'royal family', really...

Alright, it looks like the honey faeries have truly abandoned their status as monsters, and become proper villagers, nomads and barbaians... ah, no, they're mostly villagers, aren't they?

Well, because of the structure of their society, it is practically impossible for them to become anything bug villagers or nobles, isn't it?

It is slightly surprising to see their babies and children, though. I mean, up until Miel II, they ... uhmm actually I have no idea how they breed before. If they had to mate or if the queen just summoned new faeries or what, but its undeniable that Miel II was 'born' and grew up in just two days.

It looks like the children happily flying around right now have been around for a while now, though it can't have been too long either. Long enough that their parents made clothes for them, though very simple ones.

That reminds me, clothes in this style used to be pretty standard for children back on Earth too. Dress-like clothes, or simple robes, togas and the like. Once children began growing more, only then would they actually get gender-specific clothing, uh?

By the way, the fashion of giving gender specific clothes to small children is surprisingly new on Earth, dating only about 70 to 100 years, just so you know.

*cough*

Anyway, one of the guards is holding her spear with one hand, and her toddler's hand with the other, eh... it looks rather cute somehow.

Well, it's not like they have anything to fight against in this greenhouse, so being a guard or soldier is more of an honorary post at the moment anyway.

She approaches and gestures for us to wait before going into the palace with her child. I guess she went to call for Miel.

Well, if they built normal homes, thry would have troubles with the winter's cold, so... yeah, at least at these heights and latitudes, they need the greenhouse around their homes.

"It is alright, because living in mylord's family's garden is peaceful." - she says

I guess that must be true? You can't compare our family's garden to the wilderness in terms of danger and having to defend your honey against monsters (while Stella isnt around), after all.

Alright, in that case, let's go with peace of mind.

We [Treestride] back to Alquia, and wait for Mako to be done with her ministry meeting.

As she comes out, she greets us happily with a kiss, and asks us what's for lunch.

Eh? Were we meant to cook? I think she said something like "Let's meet for lunch." Does that mean she just assumed we would take her somewhere?

"Hmm... alright." - we say after pulling from her lips

Let's see... because of time difference, its barely the morning in Mantequira... If we knew somewhere where it happened to be about night time right now, we could take them out to dinner somewhere fancy with a open roof, so we could enjoy the stars...

Oh, the easternmost place we know is Blacklake, right? eh, I think its barely a few hours ahead of our own timezone though, so it would be nice if we wanted to have tea, but not for lunch...

I guess we could go to Heven or Lapsiona, then. Okaba's kingdom counts as exotic, I think? It has an african-arabian vibe to it, so its not too different from Alquia itself, though, but I am sure their dishes are quite different.

Maybe Lapsiona? Though that's mostly meat-based dishes. Giant bug meat, to be exact. Ah, but it definitively counts as exotic.

How about the orc's city? Its definitively a different style and they pride in having the best [Cook]s in the world, right?

Sounds similar/familiar

Uhmm... let's go to the Orc capital. We can enjoy their gourmet culture for today. Its a pity that we don't have the evening free, so we can't laisurely enjoy the baths, but let's do so at another time.

"Alright, let's try Pelak, then."
"The orc city?" - Mako's brows bend slightly as she tries to remember the place.

Eh... I guess we've only ever visited it very brieefly, right? Almost all of her memories of the place are based on the baths...

"Yes, they love cooking, if I remember it right."

And so, we [Treestride] to the outside of the city, and walk in looking for a place to enjoy lunch at.

As it turns out, there's no shortage of places, though while the orcs are very converned with cleanliness and personal health, they don't seem nearly as worried about what other races consider elegant or fancy, so we find mostly open air food stands...

It takes us a bit, but we finally arrive at a more traditional-looking restaurant. Hn, it is quite orderly and simple inside, but very clean and the atmosphere inside feels 'fresh'. Neither cold nor hot, humid nor suffocating. Just right, I think.

Let's go in and ask for a table.

"Can I help you?" - a young, tall but thin orc male walks over, wearing a cook's uniform.

Uh... he even has the mushroom hat. It feels right and yet out of place...

"Can we have a table for three, please?"
"Ah, would you like a snack, or lunch?"
"Lunch, please."
"Please follow me."

He takes us to a table near the back. Hmm, there's a pond with bright (if small) red fish a few feet away.

The pond is somewhat elevated from the ground, and if we pay attention, we can see a bit of steam raising from the water. Is it hot enough to let off steam, and yet the fish seem to be just fine.

"Those are firefish" - explains the young cook - "They're an absolute delicacy, but you can only raise them in thermal waters, so attempts at raising them elsewhere have always failed."

"Yes sir." - the cook nods with a smile, and leaves for the kitchen.

Someone comes after a while and asks us if we'd like to choose a fish, so we let Mako do it.

"That one, and that one... one more? That one, than!"
"Yes madam."

The orc catches the small fish on a small metal pot-like tool each, and takes them away to the kitchen.

"Why those three?" - we ask her when she comes back to the table
"They look lively."
"Nm" - Miel nods nods

I hope she doesnt thinks we're buying a pet...

The waiter comes back with some snacks, water, and fluffy white bread as well as a bright red and juicy paste on a small brown bowl.

"What is this?" - Miel points at the red paste with a delicate finger
"Pika paste." - he explains - "It's not for everyone, however, so be careful, m'lady. If you enjoy spicy things, you can make it more so by sprinkling some salt on it."

Indeed, there's six small, different condiment flasks on the table. They're all white ceramic, with different drawings on them... and we don't recognize any of them.

Let's try the pika paste.

We reach for the tiny spoon on it, and the waited stops us in a horry.

"You are meant to spread a little on bread, young sir."
"Thank you."

We break some bread and try it out... its... its really spicy... as in REALLY spicy. Ah, good thing the water was here already.

"Eldric, are you alright?" - Mako looks at us with worry. It was so spicy it gave us hiccups
"Aaaah... that's amazing in many ways."

"I'd like to try it..." - Miel reaches forth and... she seems to love it

Weren't you a honey faery? This isn't sweet at all, you know? Its ultra spicy, you know!?

...well, she really loves it. Thats a expression of pure delight, uh...

Come think about it, we haven't mentioned to Mako that we want to marry Miel as well. This is a good time to introduce her as our last fianceé

Hnn... our relationship is pretty doominant/submissive, though... should we make clear that....

Well we've only ever had S/M play with her, and even a 3P with her daughter, so I thought i'd be best to ask, though at the time their kind still didn't had a family relationship as we know them, though. Rather than her daughter, Miell II is more of her spawn, if that makes sense?

Miel II would be okay with it since she's already done it with her before.

i just dont want to put her on stand when she not so well know by the other girl in a sense but i dont really care how is she loved as long it doesnt mean force it to the others and Mako is certainly little bit special compere to Lyann and Aritsu for now.
>>
Alright, so we're just letting it evolve naturally instead of assigning her a role right now, then?

"I thought you liked sweet stuff?" - we look in horror as Miel devours the hot sauce.
"It is sweet..."

Eh... is her tongue broken? I guess it's just different. (*)

"Ah, did you just want to have lunch together, m'lord?" - asks Miel
"Yes, but I also wanted to take you along to look at something. A new rockitship. This one is the largest so far, so I was thinking you may be able to use it as a moving city for your people." - we pause to have some water - "Well, not this one, but one in the future."
"Nn." - she nods - "Alright."

Soon enough, the food is here and... how did these large fish steaks come from those tiny things? Sometimes, the loot system makes no sense, really.

Ah wait, if we could somehow grow these fish in special tanks, wouldnt it be possible to use them as an easy source of food? I mean, each fish is quite small, yet the steaks they 'drop' are more than generously sized... well, maybe we could just lift some restrictions in the mana-based food dispensers instead.

The only problem is, those can't reproduce anything beyond basic quality food stuff.

For now, let's try these... and Miel is already bathing them in hot sauce before she even tries them.

>Let her do as she pleases
>Take the sauce from her

* Actually a interesting bit of info a friend studying gastronomy dropped on me yesterday. Spicy is actually ULTRA sweet, so much so that our clumsy human tongue gets overcharged and that's why it 'hurts'.

Well, its her food, so...

or that's what we thought, but Mako stops her instead.

"You should try it as the cook wanted you to, first." - she says with a serious expression.
"Nn. Alright."

She left a bit uncovered. I guess that counts

As for ourselves, we find the fish quide delivious. It has a slightly sour taste, but the vegetables and the cream compliment it really nicely.

We got a [Well Fed IV] buff from the dish. Ouir MP is recovering 20% faster, and we do 20% extra damage with spells and abilities.

Its a pity that the waited told us the fish can only be breed on thermal waters.

After paying for the meal, we take Miel and Mako to Alquia, and head for the docks, where we can board a rockitship for the trip to the building site.

As expected, the crew is quite motivated around the young empress, and greet her flawlessly by standing on the deck, lined up before she is done walking the boarding plank.

"Your highness!" - the captain salutes her on behalf of the crew
"Yes, good work." - she nods politely - "Please follow the duke's instructions."
"Yes!"

Alright, let's see just how far the construction of the super dreadnought has gone.

(lets stop here for today. I need to write my sheet for a game i was invited to tomorrow. Ill see you next week guys, God willing)
