Who would have thought that after all this time there would be repercussions for Blake’s demise? It would be unfair to think brain dead school bullies can’t be friendly to each other, but to search for you even though you really didn’t anything? There is something iffy here, and it stinks of flame shenanigans.
You’re outside of school with Uccelli, she’s in another of her disguise… If a morning jogging outfit is considered one, that is. Still, you don’t know where to continue your pursuit of justice.

“…He should be around here, no?” Uccelli suggests. It’s very likely he’s close to the school, you’re his target after all and bullies aren’t known for their subtlety. He maybe is causing a ruckus near.
“Investigating the area with you could a problem…” You look Uccelli from top to bottom insinuating the obvious.
“W-what do you mean?” She steps back.
“I don’t know if I could consider that a disguise… Looks good on you though.” You clarify to an annoyed Uccelli. She stares at you with mild hatred for a second.
“I thought it would be better if I wear more comfortable clothes to maneuver around easily.” She stretches her arms.
“I’m not complaining, but it’s not a great disguise though. We’re near the school, someone could recognize you.”
“I work with what I have, okay? Besides I have a trick under my sleeve in case something happens... Enough of this, we need to find this kid and calm him down.”

>”Let’s get to his school. Maybe we can find him or at least we’ll get good information, bullies are always well known in their schools.”
>”Let’s walk around, the bully is somewhere near.”
>”…Calm him down?” Raise eyebrow in disapproval.

“…Calm him down?” You raise your eyebrow in disapproval. You don’t negotiate with bullies.
“Don’t look at me like that, Ando.” She finds your answer strange.
“I don’t think we’re on the same page, what do you think it’s going to happen?”
“I know what you’re getting at, but you know we have to talk it out. I can’t go out and beat up students and call myself a teacher.”
“Some P.E. Teachers may disagree and since you’re disguising yourself as one I thought there would be no problem.” You joke. “But the important thing to remember is he has a connection with Blake, and it’s likely he has a white flame. And white flames mean brainwashing, so he’s 100% dangerous.”
“…” She stares at the floor. “…I hope he doesn’t have one then.” She says quietly.
“Don’t feel bad, it’s better for him if we remove it. These white flames are basically parasites.” You try to cheer up.
“Right.” She tries to shake her bad feelings off, and looks back up at you resolutely.
“Let’s get to his school, maybe we’ll find answers there.”

On your way to the station, Uccelli and a random meek-looking student bump into each other. The kid was too busy looking at his phone to notice.

“I-I’m sorry!” The black haired student yelps to Uccelli.
“It’s okay, but you need to look where you’re going, Nate.” She replies with her teacher voice. You know the one.
“Sorry…! Wait… How do you know my name…?” He didn’t recognize her?! “You also look familiar…” He squints and stares intensely at Uccelli. You can see his forehead scrunch in concentration.
Uccelli forgot that she’s disguised..
“I—I… Uhm…” Uccelli completely forgot she’s disguised. She looks at you in a desperate effort for help.

>”Shut up, we’re busy.” Intimidate him.
>”Do you know Ms. Uccelli? This is her sister…” Deflect him.

It’s up to you to defuse the situation. Good thing you’re always prepared!

“Do you know Ms. Uccelli?” You ask the weakling without hesitation. Uccelli’s stare says it all, she feels betrayed.
“Uccelli? Our shitty history teacher? ...Don’t tell me she’s—?!”
“Yes, this is her younger sister, Lana…. Lana Uccelli. She’s visiting the city for a few weeks.” That’s the first name you came up with and basically, it sounded like one of your panic responses, confidence doesn't last that long… Wait, that name backward mea—
“N-nice to meet you. So my sister is a shitty teacher… I guess she was right when she told me some of her students are a bunch of ingrates.” She changed her voice completely, she sounds far younger somehow with a higher pitch tone. A talent you never knew she had. Even though she sounds adorable, you can sense the anger behind her statement.
“I-I’m sorry! I didn’t know! But how do you know my name?” He looks at Uccelli in disbelief. Uh-oh…
“Your name? I didn’t say your name, asshole.” She tries to deflect. Smart decision.
“But you said Nate.”
“No, I said mate. Clean those shitty ears too, mate. Now my friend and I need to get moving, dimwit.” She grabs your arm and drags you forward. She’s acting very aggressively…
“I… I… Please, don’t tell her I said that.” He begs while trailing behind.
“Too late.” Uccelli keeps running without looking back, eventually you two lost him and got to the station. You pay your tickets and go onboard the train.

“Now I have to pretend to have a sister from now on. But thanks, you saved me there.” Uccelli says while still pretending to sound younger.
“You’re welcome. But you owe me one, Lana.”
“…Just call me Uccelli, do you understand?” Her bossy tone is back.
“Yes, ma’am.” You give her a diffident nod. “But what happened there? You treat him pretty badly.”
“Yeah, I feel so childish, I know better.” She bites her lip.

After a short ride, you arrived at the Red Tulip High School. This place doesn’t look any better than yours, it’s not that surprising since both schools are average in the big scheme of things, for example, Amelia goes to one of the most prestigious ones. Anyway, the main motif of this place is being red. You’re in the front gate.

“Most kids around here are in their club activities, the vast majority should be at home. I don’t know if we’re going to be able to find him.” Uccelli states. “We need to find information on him.”

>Look around. He should be here!

I just realized how stupid this plan is. We'll probably get put into the principal or get escorted out by security
>>
>>1919636
its retarded, yeah.
Only hope is that noone bothers us since our schools are similar and no one seems to have stopped the bully. teacher, security or otherwise.
Plus, considering we just had a school shooting and there was no security to stop the bully, its possible their guard is even lower than our schools.

Time to confront him immediately. You two go to the central courtyard in front of the gate. It’s a spacey area with bushes at the sides, much greener than your school - and yours is supposed to be the ‘Green Foothill’.

“Uccelli, I have an idea. You only need to hide.” You say while visualizing your next move in your head.
“No, we should discuss it together, that’s what we sai —” Uccelli stops talking the moment you turn around and stare at her with beaming confidence in your gaze. You got this and she knows it, she trusted you before and you somehow always ended up triumphant. “I’ll hide…”
Uccelli scurries off behind the bushes, she’s near the gate too in case you two need to bail quickly.

You walk to the center of the courtyard, spread your legs wide in a confident stance, close your eyes, and clear your throat. As you open your eyes wide, you shout with all your might and level 2 courage!

[“SO I HEARD BLAKE’S BOYFRIEND IS LOOKING FOR ME. WELL I’M HERE, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!”
“Ando, What the he—“ Uccelli hides her face in shame as she sinks in embarrassment in her bush.
“YOU’RE FINALLY HERE, FOUR EYES!” Holy shit, someone actually responded! And it felt like deja-vu. Remember the good times with ol’ good Blake when he tried to murder you? What? Those weren’t good times? Well, it seems you’ll have to crush another delinquent under your wrath.
From the school building a bunch of students come out running and make a circle around you. They all look like they are part of the karate club or something like that, as if they've seen their fair share of asskicking. In the middle of the ring of students, a tall blond man appears with a menacing look on his face. The other kids take their phones out, seems they are going to record everything. It’s like some kind of sick spectacle to them.

“Another fight!”
“Man, this is going to be sweet.”
“That’s the guy who killed Blake with his own two hands? He looks like a chump to me.”
“Yeah, Blake, the guy who fucked up a whole gang by himself, lost to this kid? Maybe he really got run over by the cops…”
“Who cares? The boss only wants to rearrange his face! Massacres are always fun.”
“They have to fight quickly before the principal gets here…”

You heard the students murmur as the tall man in front of you gets closer.

“Are you the little shithead who besmirched the good name of my friend Blake?”

To your surprise, this guy doesn’t have a visible flame, though there's still a small chance he’s hiding it somewhere…

“…What’s the deal with you and Blake?”
“Are you fucking serious? Don’t ask me questions after calling me out, you little shit.” He starts cracking his knuckles; he’s dead serious about fighting.
“I already threw common sense out…” It’s true.
“Are you killing time?” He senses your deliberated tactic.
“The only thing I kill is bullies.” You react smugly.
“So, you want to fucking die, then?” He spits on the floor in front of you. You managed to really pissed him off now. He’s going to beat the living crap out of you.
“If I die I at least want to hear the truth!” You reply in your last effort to keep this conversation going as you back off from him. When you got too near the crowd they pushed you to him. They are not going to let you escape easily. “Just one more question before this happens. Before he got hit by that car, he mentioned some things about being blessed by God or some other malarkey. He mentioned any details of that to you?”
“…” He looks livid; it seems you struck a nerve or something. “That fucker… If you win I’ll answer your questions!”

“Then let’s do this.” You crack your knuckles but no sound came out... Well, who gives a crap? You’re not using Philonune because you’re doing this cleanly.
“Time to get the beating of your life! Remember the name: Trent Figg! ” Your opponent shouts.

And without further ado, the fight begins! He launches a right hook in your direction and you defended yourself using your face…! Wait, that means you didn’t defend yourself at all! You’re on your knees. You can feel the excruciating pain in your mouth, you touch your lips and in the tips of your finger blood appears! Uh-oh…

“That’s all you got?!” You hear from him. The crowd erupted in cheers! They are chanting ‘Fuck him up!’ like a barbaric mob thirsty for blood in a boxing match. Are even boxing matches like that? What kind of boxing matches have you watched anyway? Watching too many movies can distort your perception of reality… Like fighting a titan like him with no fighting knowledge whatsoever.
But you aren’t done. Your spirit isn’t done! It’s time to fight back! You stand up proudly looking at your opponent and get another right hand for your troubles, this time you defended yourself with your left hand but he easily went through your defense… Now you’re on the floor, but not unconscious… yet.
You get up once again hurt, bleeding and somewhat confused… You hear your name being called from somewhere…

“Johnny! Johnny! You have to stand up!” It’s Philonune cheering you up. You wonder if fallen angels know anything about honor… Maybe he does, maybe he’s different… Maybe you should stop pondering about shit no one cares about in the middle of a fight…

Everything is looking grim, but maybe there is a chance for a comeback.

“Blake was a fucking disgrace, you’re pathetic, vermin.” Figg almost lost all interest in you, even though you’re on your feet.

“The boss is already trash talking!”
“It’s already over; this kid is probably supplanting the real killer!”
“The real killer? It’s obvious it was only an accident.”
“Kill him! Kill him!”

You hear the crowd heckling you. They think it’s over, and it probably is, you’re a corpse on his feet.

“I don’t even know why I bother.” Figg looks at you with disdain and finally stretches his arm for one last punch.

But

He has no idea that the best is yet to come!

You let your fighting spirit guide you in this pure moment of adrenaline as you duck the attack with ease… You hear the crowd reacting with astonishment… You somehow evaded completely the attack… You clench your fist as hard as your senses are letting you and counterattack with an uppercut!

“Impossible!”
“What the hell?!”
“Maybe he’s the real deal!”
"Shut up!"

...

You put all your force in this one punch! But in the end, it merely staggers the building man for a second.

“So this is what you had in store?! It’s not enough!” Figg says, but he loses stability and you spot blood coming out of his temple.

But this doesn’t stop the man beast’s right hook to traverse the air to try to impact your handsome face yet again; everything is moving slowly, is this what adrenaline does to your body? Is this really something you can overcome? Obviously, you can! Another successful move and you can even things up!

It’s now or never! It’s do or die! This is your all in! This is your final stance! Show him what you’re made of!

...

Before connecting punches, before finally deciding who of you two is the victor, before you could finally see the end of this bizarre confrontation… You thought I need a miracle to win… A miracle… An effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause…
But miracles are not about the lack of faith or willpower, nor about being fair or unfair, no… The most important aspect of miracles is their rarity, a one in a lifetime event if you will… And if you think about it, maybe it was actually good luck it didn’t occur now… That’s what you’re thinking as you are falling on the floor after receiving the most painful punch you’ve ever experienced in your short life… Your fist wasn’t even close to touching your opponent’s face. A complete and utter defeat.

The heckling, roars and images are nothing but a blurry mess to you. You’re thinking you may brain damage; your body hurts a lot… There is something in front of you… a black thing that’s calling your name. Another voice is shouting your name too; a liquid is falling on your face… You hope it isn't piss. You completely forgot what you were doing before… Maybe, that’s okay… You need to rest now.

Average (the mean) of all rolls except the smallest rolled number (if there are more than 2 rolls) and success will depend on the difficulty I specify for the action or prompt.

Above 45 is a success in a normal roll. Above 65 is a success in a hard roll. The hardest rolls I won’t specify because I find it more fun if I don’t. I sometimes get somewhat lenient though.

The pact humans and otherworldly individuals forge is a complex matter to understand, even if you’re part of one it’s still hard to grasp what exactly is happening. We make a deep connection that makes us one, without losing our sense of individuality, we share one life, but we don’t share thoughts, I’m still me and he’s still himself…
But that’s not exactly what is perplexing me in this occasion… No, what is bugging me is that my partner here is unconscious and… Shouldn’t I be unconscious too? We saw those with our same connection getting knockdown together, why is different with us? Is this some kind of divine punishment? You fight alongside your comrades, you celebrate victory together and you taste defeat together… That’s the way it should be. Was everything part of your plan, Johnny? To test the type of bond we forged together? To understand how our connection works?... You can’t hear me right now, but I would like to know.

“I can’t believe he made me bleed.” Figg says while whipping his blood from his temple. Some drops fell on Johnny’s unconscious body.

If I don’t do anything his teacher is going to get furious! I need to assume complete control… Don’t worry, Johnny, your partner has everything under control … I enter Johnny’s body and try to move it like it’s my own, the pain is even worse than I thought. This feels completely different than mine. I, Philonune, is in complete control.

“Look out Boss! He’s standing up!” One weakling in the crowd says.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing? Stay down!” Trent Figg shouts to us. This human is pissing me off. I smile at him. “W-what the fuck?! Why are you smiling?!”

This is easier to move than Barry the hobo, but it’s still difficult to me to maneuver Johnny’s body and there is no chance in hell of us fighting using this broken body…

>Fall down and pretend to finally go unconscious, when the situation defuses we’ll get to the human teacher.

“…Hah… Ha… Hahahaha…!” I start laughing in his face with blood pouring out of our mouth, then I slowly start walking away. A prideful warrior doesn’t show any sign of weakness, not even when turning their back on an enemy.
“You fucking psycho!” He gets near me and grabs my shoulder, stopping my body in place. He’s not letting me go. Yet.
I look him in the eyes and keep smiling. “Stop! STOP!!!” He screams in anger and even a little fear, as he punches us in the stomach. Sorry Johnny… But I’m not going to let him think he completely defeated us.

“What’s going on in here!? Is that another fight!?” A loud deep male voice comes from the building, someone who sounds like they're used to giving orders and not taking them themselves. Two men open the front door; one is a tall bald overweight man wearing strange garments even for these humans, and the other is a senior citizen with gray hair and a tuxedo. I can feel the older man's suppressed strength even from here, despite his appearance.
“Oh shit! It’s the principal with fatass MacClenny! We need to bail!” One member of the crowd says in a nasally voice.
“Boss! You won! Let’s go!” A minion yelps to his lord, begging for escape.
“It’s not finished until he stays down!” Figg barks at the cowardly man - something he's done to plenty of others before Johnny, no doubt.
“Ha… Ha… Ha… Staying down? You already made me laugh before. You don’t need to keep the routine going… ha… ha…” This is something Johnny would say, right? Anyway, he'll have to kill us first if he wants me to stay down.
“FUCK OFF!” He kicks us in our shin for good measure, but I won’t fall. It doesn’t matter what he does, we won’t back down.
“No! Fucking RUN!” The toughest looking of the group cries out to his boss, panicking. He spits on us before running away like the little scattering bugs they truly are. Some humans are disgusting creatures. Why do you spare them, Johnny? This could’ve been done in a matter of seconds. But Trent Figg, I will have our revenge.

But we’re from one peril to the next. I think we could sprint towards Uccelli with one last ditch effort, if I try. I don’t know what troubles these two men could mean to Johnny, and despite wanting revenge I don’t want to find out.

I have to run towards the human teacher. These injuries can still be healed later, but the pain is unbearable. I don’t know how much we can last…

“Ando?! What happened? Oh my god…” Uccelli looks at us horrified, she’s trembling and almost crying. Blood makes everything look worse than it is, so her reaction is expected.
“We need to leave, take us to a medical facility… Woman, we need to move.” Why are we wasting time here?
“U-Us…?” She asks while checking up our wounds, trying to be gentle about it.
“I’m his partner. Johnny is in danger… Please. We can’t get caught. Not now.” Get a hint already, we need to leave.
“I’ll ask questions later.” She invokes her partner, Icioba, and grabs us by the waist. I can’t hold on much longer. I hope this was good enough for you, Johnny.

Your face hurts, your body hurts, your pride hurts… you open your eyes and see nothing clearly… where are your glasses? You move your hands around and finally manage to feel your glasses. Oh, they were on the table next to the bed. It seems someone treated your wounds, they don't feel like a high 8 out of 10 anymore. Hold on a second, where are you? You’ve never seen this place before. It’s a small room with an open window by the side, barely any space for a table, a TV hanging on the wall looking like its going to fall off any moment, and you’re in a bed so small your feet are almost hanging off the edge… At least it smells nice.
“Where are we?” Philonune ponders as he explores the room you’re in, floating around. “I would ask you how you’re feeling but we share the pain, so…”
“…Oh right, we lost the fight. Fuck.” You firmly grasp the bed sheets as you reminisce of your failure... to go down in a cool way.
“I wouldn’t call it a lost fight.” Philonune says. Then he explains what happened to you and the rest of the fight. Even though Philonune makes it feel like it was a tie, you know it was a complete defeat. You’re going to get back to him but more importantly, it would be best if you stopped trying to be so reckless with your decisions. Saraswati was right about being too impulsive, and it finally bit your ass in one of the worst ways it could have. Or maybe it would be better if you don’t play games and get serious when a beatdown is coming your way. Anyway Uccelli took you somewhere… But this place doesn’t look like a hospital.
“Maybe we’re at her house?” You giggle in excitement at the thought.
“Why… are you so happy?” Philonune stares at you confused. Looks like he still needs a lot more experience with human emotions.
“I’ve never been to a girl’s room except Amelia’s. And little sisters don’t count.”
“She’s more of a woman than a girl, no?”
“That makes it even better.” You say while adjusting your glasses and grinning. Then you stop grinning because smiling is hurting your face, which then starts hurting the rest of you.

You decided to call Uccelli! Seeing her would be a good start to getting better.
“Ms. Uccelli!” You yell like you’re calling for a personal maid in a joking manner. As your mouth starts hurting every moment a syllable leaves it, conversations are going to be real annoying for a while.

“Johnny?!” You hear her running towards the room! She’s wearing casual clothes and an apron now. Maybe that was the last you will see of her tracksuit. What a shame... “Sorry, I was busy making dinner.” She apologizes, but in a tone of voice that tells you she'd drop dinner in a heartbeat to see if you're alright. At least, that's what you hope.
“No need to apologize.” You respond as you touch your injuries. You have bandages all over yourself, even in places you don't remember getting fucked up at. Probably from when Philonune took over.
“You’re right. Someone else should apologize for what they did.” She sits on the bed's small space, the part you aren’t using. She isn’t too pleased with what you did before. “Why are you getting in so much trouble? I could have helped you.”

>”My bad, I thought I could handle it better. It’s not going to happen again.”

“Honestly, I didn’t want you to have to deal with him. I can live with taking a beating, but having you or my sister get hit by that thug, I’d never have gotten over it. Doesn’t change the fact I made a mistake, sorry. I thought I could handle it better. It’s not going to happen again." You spoke your mind as honestly as you could.
“…Ando, do you understand the position I’m in? Do you think I wouldn’t have preferred getting a beating instead of you?” She starts caressing your hair. “The same feelings you’re professing are the exact same that I have. I wouldn't have been given these powers if I didn’t care what would happen to any of you two. Do you think your sister will happy to know his brother was gushing blood everywhere because he decided to fight alone yet again? Do you think of us as being that useless? If you can’t count on us in a supernatural fight, why did we bother to make this group? Johnny, I was there and I didn't do anything. I can't help but to think our chances in this war are even worse than we initially thought.” Her worries are being verbalized in front of you, and you're hearing all of it because she's using that teacher voice. Uccelli feels even more useless than ever. You have to keep her spirits up, too!
“Uhm… It wasn’t a supernatural fight.” You correct her.
“What?” Uccelli replies dryly as she stops caressing you.
“Yeah, that was soooooo incredibly stupid; I don’t know why I thought fighting a martial artist without using powers was a good idea! I needed a reality check anyway; I got one punch in, though. I looked soooooo cool! Even though I had no chance at all...”
“Wasn’t this whole ordeal about this thug having a flame…?” a deadpan Uccelli says, her eyes narrowing.
“Yes and no. I wanted to help all my glassesbros, which was my main intention in the first place! Sorry I dragged you into this from the get-go.” You slowly nod even though you’re in pain.
“Johnny… Why?” She’s still frozen in place, her eyes wide in disbelief.
“I already told you. I did what it was necessary to help my bespectacled brothers.”
“I mean why didn’t you use your powers?” She’s still in shock.
“I said I made a mistake. Sorry.” You say with all honesty. Uccelli stares at you for a little while and then remembers something important.
“Oh no! I forgot the dinner! Wait for me a sec. I’ll be right back!” She exclaims as she leaves the room running to the kitchen. You have a few minutes of pure peace in this room.

What do you want to talk about with Uccelli when she comes back?

Uccelli arrives with your dinner in a trail that reminds you of the ones they used in the school’s cafeteria. It smells delicious.

“Don’t eat too fast, your mouth got a real beating, I had to use all my ice in my fridge to relieve the swelling on your cheek.” She asks you to be careful.
“Yes, ma’am. Can I ask you a question?”
“Wait, I need to go for my plate.” She quickly leaves the room and comes back with her own trail and a cheap plastic chair. She sits next to you and turns on the television, there is a green bar near the top of the screen. It’s on the news channel; you aren’t in the mood to see more disasters happening. “So what is it?” She starts eating.
“Where are we?” You ask as you slowly eat your meal.
“…My apartment.” She looks ashamed of it.
“What’s wrong?” You ask her naively. Maybe she doesn’t want anyone to know how she lives.
“N-nothing…” She looks away trying to hide the shame on her face. She shakes her off her negativity and starts talking again. “I hope from now on you will depend on me and Amelia.”
“Yes, don’t worry about it.”
“I’m serious; I don’t want to ever see you hurt like this again.” She says. “Even if it’s a dumb fight with a bully. I want to help.”

You two watch the news while eating your homemade dinner. A terrorist attack was dismantled before even happening. Shit, maybe the government will keep their promise!?

“What time is it?” You ask to Uccelli.
“Almost… 7pm. Oh right, I forgot about the curfew, your home is not far from here, so don’t worry too much.” She mentions.
“Right, I have a serious question to make.” You leave the fork on your plate and look her in the eyes.
“What is it, Ando?” She seems concerned.
“Would you give me private lessons? I also really need a nurse right about now if you know what I mean.”
“… I don’t know if I should take you seriously.” She turns around to resume watching TV.
“I’m serious. Well, not that serious about the nurse part. I want to do better in my exams and it would be a good activity for us to do in our free time like we talked.”
“I’ll think about it. I’ll visit while your wounds heal, okay? Maybe we can start there and see if you’re serious or not.” Uccelli is serious about it. “So, how are you feeling? Ready to go home?”

“I don’t think I can go home in this state. Why are you kicking me out?” You grin mischievously. Time to play some jokes.
“Ah…?! I-I’m not kicking you out; I just thought you wanted to leave home before the curfew starts. That’s all.”
“So you wanted to leave me to root in my apartment alone without any help whatsoever? How heartless of you!” You jest.
“A-are you playing one of your jokes again?” Uccelli is getting worried. She’s not getting it, does she…? Maybe this could be fun.
“Me? Jokes? I’m completely serious. I don’t even know if I can walk.” You dramatize your condition.
“I-I can call you a taxi if you want. I’ll pay for it. But you’re right, I can’t leave you alone like this… Think Nina, Think…” She bites her thumb. “I know! I’ll get you a cab to the clinic you work for! Your boss can take care of you. Maybe he could even pay for the ride too!” She gives you a wicked smile. Uh-oh, she turned the tables on you! She knew from the beginning you were trying to pull her leg, but she had an ace under her sleeve!

“B-But I want my lesson to start right now!” Last ditch effort for a comeback.
“Awww— what a good boy. I see you have enough energy for studying! Then, in that case, I’ll see you tomorrow in classes! Be sure to bring the extra homework I assigned you last week!” She says in a very condescending tone like talking to a baby.
“…It appears I’ve been outmaneuvered. Well played.” You said dryly as you golf clap slowly. You made her genuinely smile. “Also, a free ride to the clinic isn’t a bad idea… But maybe I should go home anyway.”
“Sorry, it’s not your day, Ando. I’ll call a cab for you. But really, don’t push yourself too much; you don’t have to go to classes tomorrow.” Uccelli says as she takes out her phone, she’s concerned about you.

A few minutes passed, and the cab arrives outside of the apartment building. Now you’re wearing one of Uccelli’s biggest t-shirt, you can’t go outside with a bloody shirt, it smells really nice. It’s time for you to go.

“Alright, Mr. Ando, I’ll help you.” She leans her shoulder towards you. You can walk just fine, it’s your face what hurts the most.
“Ms. Uccelli, now that I think about it, I don’t know if I would be okay alone in my apartment.” You tease. She may have won the battle before, but not the war.
“Oh my… And why is that?” She already caught you in your games.
“Look at me! I don’t have enough strength.” You slightly shake your head dejected.
“Surely, my delicious dinner would suffice for that.”
“I don’t know. Maybe if Uccelli-Sensei hugged me, I might have more strength to last by myself.” You give her the puppy eyes.
“A hug…?” She looks surprised.
“Please… Just one.”
“…But you just got beaten up.”
“You’re a gentle lady, I trust you.” You open your arms to her. “I don’t know if I will survive otherwise.” She looks at the side, turns at you, sighs and replies:
“You spend the whole day worrying me and I will reward you... What are my priorities? C’mon, stand up, just one hug.”
“Yay.” You cheer.
You both hug briefly, you felt her soft personality being pressed on your body. A feeling you’re not going to forget anytime soon. It seems she needed one too, at least you assume from the way she's holding you. “Stop being so reckless…” She says while the hug continues. “Okay, enough of that, time to move.”

Uccelli’s apartment is really small and in a worse state than yours; like it was made for turning people claustrophobic. You feel bad for her.
With Uccelli’s help, you arrive at the cab, you said goodbye to her one last time before leaving. This whole situation with your teacher made you feel more confident about yourself! You gain a small bit of Handsomeness! You’re not even close to level up yet, but it’s something…

(I meant to write tray not trail. That was 2 am me being a failure.)

You tell the driver you want to go to Calamity’s Clinic. You’re very thankful Uccelli treated your wounds, but you want to make sure you’re completely okay. It was a short safe ride; the streets were almost empty, this is one of the effects the curfew does to the population.
You pay the good man his due and you go inside the clinic.

“Oh, young Ando, what brings you here? Do you want to work today…? Oh geez, what happened to you?” He was reading some notes before taking a good look at you. Half of your face is looking terrible so it’s no surprise he’s acting concerned.
“This? Eh… I had a fight that didn’t turn out that well for me.”
“Did you go to a hospital or…?” Calamity gets closer to see your wounds.
“Uhm… That’s the reason I came here today, can you examine this?” You circle the zone in your face with wounds using your hand.
“Let me check on you in this instant.” He shows you the way to another room.

You two get inside the examination room. This is the first time you’re Calamity’s patient. He’s being very gentle while taking a good look at your war scars. He makes you do some small tests to see if you received any type of brain damage. You feel like Constance with so many bandages on.

“Whoever patched your wounds did a good job, young Ando. No severe or permanent damage either, so that’s great news. But you can’t go to classes for the rest of the week, oh, and try to take it easy.” He starts writing a recipe. “Take one of this every 8 hours if you are in too much pain.” He hands you the medicine with the recipe.
“Thanks, doc.” You reply.
“My pleasure. AhahAHhaha.” He still laughs creepily. “Your insurance has you covered, so you’re good to go.” It’s almost 8:30 pm. You can safely walk back home.
“Yeah, but it didn’t cover my taxi ride. Man, I need it that money.”
“How much it cost? I’ll give you the money back.”
“Really!?” What a nice surprise…! Well, you were counting on it.
“HahAHha. I heard how nice you’ve been to Constance, so it’s the least I can do.”
“But she’s not your patience anymore…”
“She’ll come back soon, Ando.” Calamity says. “She requested it herself. I thought he didn’t like me at all!” He sounds jovial.
“That’s great.”
“I hope you can give her company. Now I don’t want to keep you here any longer, you know about that pesky curfew. That Gordon, what is he thinking?”
“Then I’ll be going.” You stand up.
“Remember to come back next week.”

So you will have to take it easy for the rest of the week, but no classes! That’s always a plus in your book. You arrive at your apartment; your body still aches; that type of beating is not easy to shake off.

You check your phone with no expectations whatsoever. Let’s see what Chat-Now has for you in store... You have received a grand total of 4 messages! That’s surprising. Usually, you only got nothing except for the times Amelia messaged you. It's... actually rather nice!

The first one is from Osgood! It seems you completely forgot about you two meeting together to visit Constance. He wrote he went by himself later. Maybe you need to apologize, but you never made concrete plans with him. You didn't tell Scarlet about his "date" either.

The second one is from Lise! She informs you that they are transferring Constance back to Calamity’s clinic. She managed to convince her parents to do so, which must have been hard given what little you know or suspect of her parents. This would be more surprising if you didn’t already know thanks to Calamity. Oh well, it's good news for you regardless.

The third one is from Terry! He’s asking you if you’re really going to fight that thug. He wanted to talk you out of it. He may have heard from Matilda while he was off doing art club activities. Too late for that anyway. Maybe you could convince him to help you later, if you need it.

The last one is from Amelia! She said she’s ready for this weekend's slumber party at your apartment, and that’s she’s going to buy a new game for you two to play.

That’s it! Some were important, some weren’t. With this new found knowledge you decided to…

>Apologize to Osgood.
>Tell Terry everything is fine.
>Tell the rest of your team what happened and then go to sleep.

You send Terry a message telling him everything is fine. No immediate response, he may be busy or already asleep. Whatever, it’s not important right now.

Now it’s time to inform the rest of the team about your failure. But first, you’ll apologize to Osgood. You wrote a short apology and that you’re going to explain the details of your absence in the group chat. In the group chat you wrote about your quarrel with Trent Figg and how you ended up giving him a good fight but ended up being defeated. Both Osgood and Amelia are questioning your decision making to say the least. You’re getting chastised hard… But it seems you’re not the only one, Amelia is going hard on Uccelli too, she’s blaming your teacher as much as you for what happened. You didn’t expect this at all. Maybe you caught your sister in a bad mood.

Outside the group chat, Osgood tells you he accepts your apology and says he didn’t mind at all, he changed subjects rapidly and told you to be more thoughtful about how to handle your fights. He also mentions to not be afraid of using your entity if necessary. Mhm… You are not sure if you like that comment.

In the same way, Amelia tells you she’s going to have a word with you tomorrow and she’s taking care of you until you recover… You don’t remember the last time Amelia got mad, but it can’t be good news.

You thought about improving your style, but your body feels too tired for that right now, it can wait for the morning. Anyway, as you get inside your bed, you think if you really want Amelia’s help…

>Tell her you will be fine by yourself.
>Just let her do as she pleases.

Knowing her, we wouldn't be able to stop her. We never could.

Sometimes the best strategy is not to play at all, so you’re going to let Amelia do as she pleases. Besides, you like her company even if she gets annoyingly attached sometimes. You close your phone and put it off to the side and slip into sleep.

You wonder how an ordinary day ended up being such a disaster in so little time. I guess that’s what bad decision making does - well, technically, the only bad decision was to have a fair fight with Trent Figg. If you add Philonune to the mix, Trent’s chances of winning drastically go down! Next time you will teach him a lesson, and unlike Uccelli’s, this one will be useful and painful!

Or maybe you should stop being so salty about it, and take it easy.

Sadly Johnny’s tale of redemption and vengeance will have to wait. This is all we have for this week! Thanks for playing and see you next time!

I hope you guys enjoyed this session. I didn’t expect at all Johnny getting beaten, I guess the dice gods aren’t on our side. Here’s Delinquent Uccelli! I still have to finish Delinquent Johnny (I lazily used the unfinished version for the OP). Next time I’ll fulfill my promise and we’re going to start earlier.

Questions/Feedback/Comments/Drawing ideas and the like are always welcome and encouraged.

Thanks for running, and for going with our bad ideas, boss. See you next time.

How about Edo Period samurai drama stuff? Or maybe some Universal Studios monsters for the entire cast near the end of the month?
