/qst/ - Quests

You are a 17 year-old girl named Hitomi Furuya. In the 17th of August, 1988, your parents decided to make the most out of their vacations by booking a plane to Cairo, Egypt.

Since you're their only child, they saw no reason to not invite you to what could be a one in a lifetime experience. You glady packed your clothes, some snacks and a few other
things and patiently waited for the plane to arrive.

You took a seat one row behind your parents by the side of the window to watch the view, while you were waiting for the other passengers to arrive, you see a familiar looking
pink hairred teenager take a seat by your side with an older woman who you assume to be his mother.

His name is Kakyoin Noriaki, a student from your class in high school. Although you know him by name and appearance, you dont think you've ever exchanged more than a few words
with him, considering he wasnt the talkative type, you doubt he has many friends due to being such an introvert.

He sits to your right as he whispers something to his mother, shorty after she hands him what looks to be a Game & Watch console to which he happily turns on and starts playing with it.
You dont think he has recognized you.

Sure, you havent really talked to him all that much but that doesnt mean you have anything against him. Why not strike a conversation with him?
''Hello, Kakyoin." You speak to your fellow classmate as he looks towards you mildly surprised.
"Oh, Miss Furuya, was it? I wasn't expecting to see you here.'' He softly replies with as goes back to his previous neutral expression ''Good evening, how are you doing today?''

''Im doing fine, thanks for asking'' you answer his question. "No need for the formalities, though. You're free to call me Hitomi"
He turns off his handheld console and scratches the back of his head.
"I see... Pardon me, Hitomi. I'm just not used to meeting classmates outside of school.'' he looks towards the ground for a moment, looking a bit embarassed by his own politeness.
As the seats finally starts to get filled, you ask him the reason he's going to Cairo while the plane hasnt started to fly yet.
"It's an interesting story actually. Mother managed to win a raffle that she saw on a commercial, the winning prize included a free trip to Egypt. I didnt really want to come, but since Father was busy this weekend i didnt ha any choice.''
That's understandable. Considering how quiet he is you didnt expect him to be the tourist type.
>"That's ok. I'm sure you'll have fun, there's a lot to see in Cairo.

"That's ok." You speak reassuringly to him. "I'm sure you'll have fun, there's a lot to see in Cairo."

Kakyoin silently ponders on your reply as if trying to think of an answer, then looks back at you with a warm smile
.
"Yeah, maybe you're right."

After a few minutes the plane finally takes off, the view from the clouds leaves you mesmerized as you look towards the ground only to see how tiny everything is. At least, for the rest of the trip, you remain bored in your seat, you exchange a few more words with Kakyoin and your parents but for most of the time its a really quiet and uneventful trip.

As soon as you ask yourself if you're there yet, the plane finally arrives, you look at the time and realize its still 9:00 PM here. It'll take you some time to get used to this place's time zones since it's supposed to be way past midnight in Japan and you're already feeling a bit sleepy.

Your parents seem to get along with Kakyoin's mother as they stay on the same hotel and bring you both to your rooms.

You're feeling really tired after the trip and your parents have already unpacked your stuff, but you can still walk check the place out if you want.

May as well see what we get to play around with besides whatever luggage we have. Maybe if we're lucky there'll be a jar of candy or something!
>>

Feeling that checking out your room won't take much of your time, you look around the place you're gonna stay in for the next few days.

Your room looks as tidy and clean as you would expect from a hotel room, there's a single sized bed for you and a queen sized bed for your parents not too far away from you. They're about to go to sleep soon so it wouldnt be a good idea to talk to them right now.

As you look to your left you can see your blue suitcase, you know you've packed most of your clothes, your toothbrush and a few chocolate Pocky sticks since you doubt they sell those here in Egypt.

After some searching found the Pocky sticks lying on a table from the other side of the room, next to the window.

You're really not in a hurry to eat all of those sticks in a day, besides, its been a long trip and you need to rest for a bit.

You lay down in your bed and quickly drift off to sleep. after waking up you look at the digital clock on the table in confusion as the numbers show that its still 4:35 AM.

What? That cant be right... You dont usually wake up in the middle of the night, you've always slept for 7 hours straight with ease and woke up full of energy on the next day.

Oh, right. You went to sleep at around 9:30 PM, you've just went to bed a little too soon...

It's weird to feel completely awake when the sun still hasnt even risen yet, but you might as well stay that way.

You get off your bed look at the window to see the city, As expected, nobody's around yet, but you can see the city's pretty well lit by the full moon and the lights on the alleyways. You really feel like going out for a walk due to how the night view is so pretty from here.

>Go for a walk, it probably wont hurt if you stay close to the hotel.

As eager as you are to explore the city, it's a lot safer to do it in the morning than right now, so its better to just wait until the sun rises.

A few minutes pass as you keep watching the view, you notice someone walking towards your building in the distance, as the silhouette comes closer its features become a bit more noticeable...

The silhouette appears to be a tall, muscular blonde haired man, with his pale, almost gray-colored skin sticking out against the street lights, and you're not sure why, but it looks like he's shirtless.

You're feeling a strange vibe from this man, maybe due to a weird mixture of fear, uncertainty and arousal, you do nothing but stare at him for what feels like an eternity.

He looks up towards your window, noticing that he's being watched. After making brief eye contact, he crouches down as if he was about to jump to your room before the hotel door opens as another man starts walking towards him.

Is that....Kakyoin?

What the hell is going on here?

Alright, this is getting weird. You have no idea who this guy is, but he sure looks dangerous. Kakyoin isnt safe there and you wouldnt forgive yourself if something happened to him while you just watched.

Even worse: Now that he's aware of your present he might try to get in the hotel room and try to hurt you and your parents.

You gahter up your courage as you sneak by your parents bed and leave the hotel room, walking downstairs towards the entrance.

After rushing towards the door, you witness a shocking sight happening right in front of you.

Kakyoin's body is trembling as the blonde man drops the shriveled up corpse of what looks like to be a local security guard, looking as if he had been dried up of all its blood. And judging by the other two corpses by his side, it looks as if this wasnt the only security guard that suffered in his hands.

The blonde man gets behind Kakyoin, who is absolutely frozen in terror. You notice that the blonde man isnt exactly looking at Kakyoin, but through him, as if there was someone right behind that he wasnt aware of.

You could hear the man softly speaking to your classmate's ear

"There's no need to make yourself vomit from fright. Relax...relax...Kakyoin..."

Before you know it his eyes quickly meet yours again, He gives you a creepy smile while placing a hand on Kakyoin's shoulder.

"It seems your friend came to your rescue, Kakyoin... why dont we see what this weakling will try to do?"

You pick up a pistol from one of the deceased guards and slowly approach him, you're obviously scared and never fired a gun before, but its better than nothing. Cosidering Kakyoin's life is on the line anything that helps you is a plus.

"Let go of Kakyoin!" you say as you try to sound intimidating. Unfortunately for you the man seems completely unphased by your attempt at scaring him.

On the contrary, he starts chuckling, seemingly amused by your statement.

"Oh, are you really trying to play tough against me, Dio?, go ahead then. Feel free to shoot me if you have the courage"

Although Kakyoin doesnt say anything, his expression tells you that he doesnt want you to get involved in this.

This situation is starting to scare you, but you need to press on if you want to keep Kakyoin safe.

You try your best to hide the currently crippling anxiety you're feeling as you keep your stern voice and neutral facial expression.

"Who are you, Dio?" you ask him to try to get some information out of him.

"You have no idea who you're dealing with, do you now?" he laughs as he condescendly answers your question

"You are speaking to the future ruler of this world. I'm gathering a group of people with special abilities to serve under my command, you are way out of your league here, girl."

Although that didnt exactly make that much sense to you, you understood that he's threatning Kakyoin for submission in order to get something out of him

"Look, i dont want any trouble here. I just dont want you to hurt Kakyoin" you change your tone to see if he reacts differently.

"Hurt him?" Dio replies. "No, i'm giving him an incredible opportunity here, we are simply negotiating. His ability is something that i doubt you'd ever achieve--''

Dio interrupts himself, taking a good look at you as he ponders his options.

"Although the way you've been hiding your fear is quite admirable for a mere human, you're not even trembling this gun you've most likely never used..."

He takes something that looks to be a golden arrow from the inside of his pants.

"Tell me, girl. Would you be willing to try out a test for me? I might be willing to let your friend go if you pass it"

>What kind of test?

"As long as you let him go, sure" you calmly oblige to his offer, something which brings a smile to Dio's face.

Dio lets go of Kakyoin and gets uncomfortably close to your face, placing a hand on your body while he takes a look at the arrow on his hand.

He then unexpectedly stabs the arrow right on your stomach, taking the arrow out as swiftly as it went in.

"HITOMI!" you hear Kakyoin shout as the sharp pain from the open wound begins to sink in, you fall to your knees and look up to see Dio frowning at you in disappointment.

"Blast." Dio says looking to the side "It seems the arrow failed on me this time. No matter, i still have Kakyoin to take care of"

You hear Kakyoin's screams while you fall to the ground. Your vision goes black as you feel your energy leave out of your body as the pain only gets worse.

No. This cant be the end. You're too young to die and your trip barely started. Dio would have to do much worse than an arrow to your stomach to take you out.

Your eyes slowly open, only to be welcome by a blinding light right on your face.

You start to think you've actually died and would have to work towards he light, only to realize you're in a hospital bed, with the thing blinding you being the sunlight coming from your room due to your mother putting the curtains up.

She smiles to see that your awake, running up to hug you while failing to hold back her tears.

You hug her back, waiting for her to stop crying for you to ease your confusion.

"4 days? What happened Where am i? Is Kakyoin ok?" you worriedly ask your mother but she puts her hands over your shoulders to calm you down while she tries to answer all your questions.

"Me and your dad found you both lying on the street with some dead guards. Kakyoin woke up after a few hours with no injuries but the wound from your stomach didnt stop bleeding. So we called the hospital as soon as we could but you had a hard time recovering from the injury. He already went back to Japan but we're still here in Egypt.''

You slowly let her words sink in. You've been here for 4 days. Sure, getting stabbed by an arrow would deal you a lot of damage, but 4 days and counting? how strong was that guy?

"Kakyoin didnt really say anything about what happened back then" Your mother continues. "He just said that 'Dio' came by while he was awake and nothing else. Can you explain what happened on that night?"

''I dont really know what happened that night" you reply to your mother. Even though you could give her some sort of explanation, considering how dangerous that man was you wouldnt like to get your family involved in all of this.

That's obviously not what your mother wanted to hear, but giving your current situation she doesnt press on the subject.

You change the subject back to Kakyoin. He's the only one that was with you last night so he might have a better explanation than you, so you ask if he and his mother left you some way to contact them.

"Not really, he left with his mother yesterday in the afternoon. But he's still going to be attending classes, so you'll have a chance to talk to him when you get back to Japan and go to school. It shouldnt take more than a few days now that you're awake.

After all that information, you ask your mother to leave your room for you to collect your thoughts on the situation.

She understands and waves you goodbye, promptly leaving the room.

Now that you're alone you try to digest all of what happened between your encounter with Dio and your awakening in the hospital.

You lift your blouse up to your stomach to see the wound all stitched up. It doesnt hurt anymore, but you're pretty sure it'll leave an ugly scar there.

Speaking about the wound, ever since you woke up you got the feeling that you are being watched by someone, you shrugged it off since you saw your mother here, but now that you left and still feel a presence in your room, you're starting to feel creeped out by this.

Trying to shrug off this feeling and reassure yourself that nobody else is here, you decide to look...

You dont see anything suspicious as you look around the room, there's your bed, a television, a table with two chairs and... a marble scuplture?

Now there's something unusual to decorate a hospital with. Was it always there?

You see a marble statue of a tall, pretty looking woman with four arms, she's in a pretty inviting pose, with two hands on her hips and the other two stretched out as if she's about to give you a hug. Classy.

You turn your head to check the rest of the room only for the blinding light from the window make your eyes sting, you dont really want to get up but you cant reach the curtains from your bed, if only there was a way to do that...

As soon as think of that. The statue shockingly starts to move on its own and goes over to the curtains to protect your eyes. After that she moves towards the table next to your bed and happily sits down with one pair of hands holding her face towards your direction,as if patiently waiting for your next order.

You dont even know what's going on anymore....

>To be continued

That's all for today, i'll see if i can run tomorrow but im out of juice right now. But i'll still be here for a bit if any of you guys have some questions or feel like giving me some criticism, its my first quest here on the board so i still have a lot to improve.

Kakyoin, Jotaro or Polnareff?

Those are all pretty good songs but i we'll get to that when we get to that.
>>
>>1946894
Oh, I kind of suspected that was the case. For it's ability, how did you pick it out? Not asking what it is, but rather how you thought it up? Use the superpowers eiki and hit random a bunch? Or thought it out?

I'd rather not be tempted with things we did get, but why not?
>>
>>1946894
Can we get a general Stand type for each of them?
>>
>>1946917
I had a small list of interesting/unusesd concepts for stands and was always into those artsy sculptures that they expose on museums. so it was a match made in heaven
(no pun intended) I made it out of marble to represent its durability and the 4 arms to give it some unique quirk to it.

You'd get a wolf cub stand, he'd work as a long ranged stand that could detect enemies from a distance but woulnt be much useful for anything else, at least while he was a cub, i was thinking of pulling a koichi on him and making him grow through acts

>Behind you
Your stand would be your shadow. It'd work as a stealthy medium range type, since he'd be able to freely interact with objects and people's shadows and reflect and by extension the object/person itself.

As for a stand name, what about Ivory Art?
Ivory being coloration (some marble can look pretty damn close to the color), Art being the Thoth tarot version of Temperance
Plus with the stand itself manifesting as an actual work of art, it's none too shabby as a name in my opinion

After closing the curtains for you, the statue moves towards the table next to your bed and happily sits down with one pair of hands holding her face towards your direction,as if patiently waiting for your next order.

You dont even know what's going on anymore... It seems that you are somehow controlling the statue.

You've never seen anything like this. A statue controlled by your thoughts? This feels like something you'd see in a dream, not in real life.

That doesnt really make any sense to you, but since the stone woman doesnt look like it means any harm you might as well try to understand how she works.

The moment you open your mouth to ask her to come closer. She stands up from the chair and walks towards your bed, with the floaty and sultry way she walks you could swear that she's trying to dance or something.

So you can control her by your thoughts without even needing to say a word? Interesting.

She comes to a stop a few inches from your bed and stretches her four arms towards you not unlike the first pose she had when you noticed her.

Now that she's close you can get a better look at her.

She's wearing what looks to be a belly dancer's outfit. She wears a veil on her body alonge with a set consisting of a bra and a jewerly filled long skirt which matches her stone colored body.

As you look towards her hands, you can see a smaller, pink jewelry on her palms. Weird, considering all of her body consists solely on one color alone. She then moves one of her hands closer to yours, as if inviting you to touch it.

You place your finger on the jewel in her hand, not really sure what would come out of it.

The statue hold your hand as it's skin slowly but surely changes to fit your skin tone, the hardness of her grip changing to match the softness of your own skin.

After displaying her unique ability, the ''statue'' lets go of your hand and places another palm on herself. Changing to her previous color as she turns the surface of her body back to marble.

"Amazing..." you say to yourself. Was that the unique ability Dio was talking about? Does that mean Kakyoin had a simillar entity attatched to him? If so, why didnt he use it against Dio, you couldnt even see a glimpse of something similar during your encounter with them.

You'll probably have to ask him about that when you get back to Japan.

Oddly enough, you realize that its gonna be weird to just keep calling the woman "the marble statue" , especially since now you know that she can copy other surfaces other than marble to change her appearance and durability.

But what would be a fitting name for a four armed statue-like dancer, that can absorb and copy what people and objects are made of?

The way her skin color changes to what she absorbs reminds you a lot of a chameleon. You think to yourself how useful this ability might be. I guess you do deserve some karma points for helping out kakyoin and surviving that assault...
Wait a second...Karma....Chameleon...
You might just have figured out a name for your new friend.
"Karma Chameleon." You say it out loud to see if it rolls off the tongue. Seeing the smile that you brought on her face, it seems that she's okay with that name too.
You hear the door opening to your left to see a nurse coming into your room. You figure that seeing a walking statue on a hospital room would cause her to freak out. so you need to try to hide Karma somehow

I wonder how the power works with liquids. Or for that matter, if it's possible to work it with gasses (the gems are always touching air, but the stand is probably able to choose if it wants to copy the traits of something or not. Of course, it's always possible that it might not be able to work with gasses. It might not even be able to do liquids, who knows?)
I think we should test Temperatures too. For instance, touching an Icecube, or a heated pan to see if it takes on the temperature of what it touched.
Then there's the particulate solids test, with things like flour and sand - will it assume a similar particulate form?

Being too late to try to hide Karma, you simply wish for her to disappear. And surely enough, Karma Chameleon slowly fades out of your view while flying towards you as if she was entering your body.

It seems that you can also willingly make her appear and disapperar whenever you want. Neat.

The nurse comes in to switch your IV bag and feeds you with a food tray that contained some salad, a small bowl of soup and an apple juice box.

You didnt try to move that much since you woke up, but you doubt that you're in top physical condition since you were out for 4 days.

The days on the hospital seem to take forever to pass. You only start walking like normal by the end of the third day, but by the end of the week you're finally good to go

August 25th, 1988
You finally arrive back in Japan, you rush to your home and lay in your bed that you've missed oh so much.

While traveling to Cairo wasnt the relaxing happy family trip that you were expecting to be, a lot of weird events happened there that raised you a lot of important questions.

Who is Dio? Why did you get this weird ghost companion after he stabbed you with an arrow? Does that mean that he has a ghost himself? What does he plan to do with this kind of power?

These questions dont seem to leave your head, you feel like you should be doing something about it.

Yeah, you dont think anyone else would understand your situation better than Kakyoin. It might be difficult to bear this pressure until the next day, but you can hold it in for now.

August 26th, 1988

It looks like losing a week's worth of classes took a toll on you, you didnt feel like you went all that well on today's exams which you didnt even know were going to happen.

You're not that worried since you did pretty well on the first semester but it's still kind of a bummer.

The other reason you're not that worried about it is because your main focus today was finding Kakyoin in the school.

You look for him around campus for about half an hour, only to find him calmly panting alongside a tree with a stern look on his face.

"Hi Kakyoin." You greet your pink haired classmate while he stares back at you in confusion.

"Hitomi? I thought Lord Dio's arrow would have gotten rid of you by now..." he speaks in a dismissive tone.

You're taken aback by this sudden mood swing. Is this really the same shy, introverted kid that you've spoken on the plane? You guess he might be in a bad mood due to the exams but...

"Lord Dio? Why the honorifics?" You ask him, ignoring his rude tone.

Kakyoin sighs as he stops painting to answer your question.

"Yes Hitomi. Lord Dio. He persuaded me into his plans after you've failed to gain a stand ability. Although the fact that you're right in front of me might tell the opposite..."

You get the feeling that somethin is not right here.....

"Stand ability? So that's whats it called? How did dio even convince you to work for him?" You ask while trying to follow his logic.

"You see, Hitomi... Dio saw the potential i had with my stand ability. However he told me that i wouldnt get anywhere if i didnt overcome my fears. Something which he promised to help me if i joined his cause. And so far, i can say that it's been working pretty well."

Kakyoin grins at his own response, seeming satisfied with the results. That's pretty vague but you guess that's all he's gonna answer for now.

"So that means you do have a stand ability..." You say more to confirm your own doubts than to directly ask Kakyoin.

His expression turns serious again as he calls out a green, humanoid entity upon him.

"This is my stand ability. I call it Hierophant Green. Every stand user gains a different stand to him and will use him for different goals. As you can tell, my current goal is to help Lord Dio in his mission.Nothing more, nothing less.

Confronting him might not be the brightest idea giving how he has a lot more of experience in his stand than you do. Maybe playing nice and convincing him that you can be on his side would make you get more information out of him.

"And how can I help Lord Dio? He did choose me to go through the trial afterall. I might be inclined to help if you explained me what his mission is".

His stand drops its guard as a confident smile appears on Kakyoin's face. It seems that he believed you.

"Well, you're right. Maybe i misjudged you. Very well then, i'll give you some information about Dio's mission."

Kakyoin leans back against a tree in a relaxed pose and starts telling you what you wanted to hear.

"About 100 years ago, a vampire known as Dio Brando barely survived an explosion that happened inside a ship due to his adoptive brother Jonathan Joestar. Lord Dio stole his brother's body and escaped with his life inside an iron coffin. However, said coffin sank deep in the ocean, being hidden from all of mankind for almost an entire century.''

"Until now, that is. A fishing ship brought Lord Dio back to the surface so that he could rule the world without the Joestars, and with the help of the golden arrow, he now has acess to a powerful stand ability. But it seems that some of Jonathan Joestar's descendants are still alive, and since their body are now connected by blood, he plans to kill the all of the Joestar bloodline before their stands awaken.

His looks back at you, giving you a stern look as his explanation comes to a close.

"I am trying to get rid of one of these descendants by myself, his name is Jotaro Kujo."

Jotaro Kujo? you're pretty sure you've heard that name before...

Jotaro has been known as the school delinquent for a while now. He's constantly skipping classes, getting in fights for seemingly no reason and always being rude to people, he might be scary to fight him normally, but he'd be a total pushover against a stand user.

"What do you think?" Kakyoin asks you in a serious tone. "Will you help me find Jotaro Kujo and stop him from interfering with Dio's plans?"

"Of course." You nod your head, convincing Kakyoin of your loyalty to Dio.

But you know that you're not gonna agree to such a crazy plan. Jotaro might not be a nice person by any stretch of the word, but you would never kill an innocent person for no reason.

Additionally, if all of what Kakyoin said was true, that probably means that Dio wont just stop after he kills the Joestars. Who even knows what he might do after that? You saw it yourself how he could easily get rid of 3 armed men by himself, and that was without his stand.

Nontheless, you need to fake your submissiveness for now if that means you can protect Jotaro and by extension, yourself.

"Good. you've made the right choice." Kakyoin confidently responds as he looks over to see a student slowly walking towards the stairs by himself. Judging by kakyoin's expression, you assume that student to be Jotaro.

You have a bad feeling about this...

>To be continued...
We're done for the night. Again, if you have some questions or anything you wanna talk about the game, feel free to say it. I'll try my best to reply to it.

>>
>>1950786
"Emerald Splash!" Kakyoin shouts in a last ditch effort to attack Dio while his back was turned. Only for the vampire to jump into the sky, landing behind the pink-hairred student.

Before Kakyoin has a chance to turn around, Dio pulls kakyoin's hair back with one hand while armlocking him with the other.

"It seems that you are incapable of serving me in your current condition. As much as i dislike using this method, it seems that i'll have to give you one of these spores for now.

Kakyoin screams for help while the vampire inserts something in his forehead. His vision going blurry as he slowly falls unconscious.

"That's him!" Kakyoin exclaimed after recognizing the teenager in the long coat approaching the stairs.

It was hard not to notice Jotaro's intimidating presence as he walked by while lighting a cigarette in his mouth.

He sits down at the top of the stairs and closes his eyes, inhaling the smoke in a seemingly relaxed manner.
Although since this is Jotaro we're speaking, you're not really inclined to strike up a friendly conversation with him, relaxed or not.

"I've been keeping an eye on his routine for a few days now." Kakyoin suddenly speaks up. "He always walks out of class for a cigarette break at this exact time. On most days this place is pretty deserted since most students are still in their classrooms, but now that they're leaving early due to the exams, we cant do a sneak attack on him right now. Anyone might show up and spot us if we do."

"Jotaro might not have a stand, but he wont go down without a fight. My stand also works best in closed areas, so it'd be nice to have the advantage in terms of spatial awareness." Kakyoing concludes, focusing entirely Jotaro's position.

"What do you think we should do?"

>Jotaro's going to be a pushover against two stand users. It's worth the risk to attack him head on.

If we do it, then we might fail at warning him, or our jobbing won't actually fool him. Or, jotaro could punch us to oblivion before we even get a word in. Let's choose the location, and hopefully we'll be able to set up a location where jotaro could have an advantage. Which involves asking kakyoin exactly whst his stand can do. Hopefully we can choose somewhere that appears good, but is actually terrible for him until we can get him fixed up.

I suggest we do something like fake sickness or injury, and he can escort us somewhere to the nurse's office. "Before we think of something, it'd be nice if i knew what your stand can do. Just so we dont get confused and engage in friendly fire." You say, hoping to adquire some knowledge abut his stand.

Kakyoin complies, displaying his green coloured stand in it's full glory.

"Hierophant Green can unravel itself into multiple long strings for various purposes, as well as having a long ranged attack to blast someone in case they try to run away."

"Got it," you reply. You then explain your plan to lure Jotaro to a better location, so you can give Kakyoin plenty of time for him to ready a sneak attack.

"Good plan. He'll never see it coming." He confidently says to you, making his stand disappear and hiding behind a nearby tree.

To be fair, you're not really lying. But it's best not to give him all of your stand's information since you'll eventually have to go to blows with him.

"Very well. Let's get to it,then." Kakyoin goins back to hiding in the trees, leaving you to meet Jotaro.

As you approach the brooding delinquent, he finishes stubbing the butt his cigarette in the ground, dropping it as he looks over you with an intimidating glare.

"What do you want?" he speaks in a deep, raspy voice. While he's nowhere near as scary as Dio, you have a feeling he wont hesitate to harm you if you make the wrong move on him.

"Someone's challenged you to a fight!" You say, attempting to entice his fighting spirit. "They'll hurt my friend if you show up and fight them."

You could swear you see a hint of surprise on his expression. After hearing what you just said, he places one hand on the front of his hat while briefly letting out a sigh.

"Good grief. What kind of coward would threaten innocent students in an attempt to get back at me? If he wanted to receive a beating from he should have confronted me directly."

That's something you didnt expect to come out of a guy like Jotaro. Sure, you told him that someone wanted to fight him to get his attention, but you expected him to go because you assumed a big, scary delinquent like him wouldnt refuse a fight. Not out of concern for innocent people.

Jotaro sits up and adjusts his black coat.

"Alright. Who is this person and where can i find him?"

Alright, >>1954878
If we can use our stand on water, then going to the bathroom would let us help out, since we can... maybe? Hide our stand in the pipes if we find a chance to strike.
If not, same line, except infirmiry.
>>
>>1954936
If not, we also get access to materials like concrete and ceramic in the bathroom, thanks to the sinks/urinals and whatever would be holding the bathroom tiles together. There's also the wood of the bathroom door and the glass of the mirrors but those probably aren't as important. Also, if we want to experiment with liquid forms, hand soap might be gel-like enough to hold a solid form together.

"Look for a pink haired boy in the men's restroom. But be careful, they're not some ordinary thug." You warn Jotaro, not wanting to give away what stands are since Kakyoin might be watching.

Jotaro nods and heads down to the men's bathroom with you following after him.

"Wait here." He warns you. "Things might get ugly in here." He opens the door and enters the restroom with a clenched fist.

You decide to stay outside, going over to the bathroom's window and calling out your stand, getting ready for a good time to strike.

You look to the window and see Jotaro standing still close to the door.

Kakyoin's Hierophant Green has been spreaded out across the room. making it hard for Jotaro to move without touching some part of his stand.

"So i guess you can see my stand afterall." Kakyoin acknowledge the reason for his foe's lack of movement. "My name is Kakyoin Noriaki. And i'm here to put an end to your life before your stand awakens, Jotaro!''

"I dont know what the hell you are talking about" Jotaro replies. "But if you think these green ropes are going to stop me from getting there you're going to be more than disappointed."

Jotaro tries to walk past Hierophant Green's barrier, not realizing those ''green ropes'' were planning on restraining his body and keeping him in place.

"You dont know who you're dealing with here, do you? Dont worry, your death will be quick and painless." Kakyoin smiles as Hierophant's torso pops from behind Jotaro, with his hands being covered by a green, slime-like material.

It seems Hierophant Green is going to shoot what kakyoin called his ''long ranged attack'' if it's good to blast at someone away from a distance, you dont think you wanna find out how much damage it would make if it striked Jotaro from up close.

If you are going to strike out against him, now is the time!

"Emerald Splas--" Kakyoin steadies his aim as he prepares to attack, only to get interrupted by a swift flurry of punches from Karma Chameleon, with the strike pontency being more than enough to send him flying into the sink as the emeralds get shot into the ceiling.

"You tricked me!" Kakyoin angrily shouts as he slowly gets back up from the broken sinks that slowly started to overflow and fall on the bathroom floor, blood dripping down from his face and his torso.

"You're lucky i have to use my stand to restrain Jotaro. But my stand still has the upper hand on yours due to being in a closed area."

Kakyoin charges his hand again. Preparing to use the same attack he tried to fire against Jotaro in you.

"Just try to dodge this. EMERALD SPLASH!"

You call out for Karma to block Kakyoin's barrage of emeralds.

At first full blast of the emeralds hit the marble woman like a truck, and with the damage from your stand somehow being transfered back to your body you wonder if you can actually endure all of this.

Strangely enough, the pain goes from excrutiating, to barely noticeable in the span of seconds as you slowly realise wht just happened.

It seems your stand instinctively catched one of the emeralds during the assault and absorbed it to turn itself into a shiny, emerald armor to protect you from the barrage.

Does that mean that the stand can also act on it's own? Interesting.

"I-Impossible! There's no way you could have survived an emerald splash at point blank range!" Kakyoin looks at your stand in absolute shock as you slowly approach him with your newly colored stand.

Before Kakyoin had a chance to pull off something funny, Karma Chameleon gives him a swift chop to the neck, intantly bringing him to the ground.

As Hierophant Green slowly fades away, Jotaro finally unbinds himself from the string's grasps.
He walks over to you with his usual stoic expression.

"Good grief. I believe i told you to stay outside." He scowls. "But i guess i have to thank you for helping me back there, i probably would not have been able to withstand that attack."

So he berates you for jumping in to save him and then thanks you? What is it with this guy? It's like you cant ever read him properly...

Jotaro crouches down to check on Kakyoin's unconscious body.

"He should be down for a few hours. That gives you plenty of time for you to explain me what the hell is going on here."

You sit down on the sink (whatever is left of it at least) to explain everything to Jotaro. From your encounter with Dio to your basic grasp of what stands can do, to Kakyoin's sudden loyalship to Dio and his plan to kill Jotaro's family.

Jotaro quietly digests the information before finally giving his opinion on the matter.

"Stands? Vampires? Magic arrows? I have never heard of these things in my entire life. This is sounding like complete nonsense to me..."

Before you can lose your temper and shout some sense into him, he adds something else to his comment:

"But i doubt you have a reason to lie to me giving your attempt to save my life.I should probably go home ask my mother about this. I might not know anyone named Dio, but maybe the elders of my family might be able to confirm your story. Are you coming with me?"

Guys, I may have a feasible plan to remove the flesh bud from Kakyoin's head. In the manga/anime, it saw anyone attempting to pull it out as as it's enemy. What if we used Karma Chameleon to take on the properties of the flesh bud; of Dio's own cells! We'd still need to be absolutely still to do it, but if I'm right, it shouldn't trigger any attack mechanisms at least.

>>
"Of course. But what about Kakyoin? We can't leave him here alone either" You point out to Jotaro.

Kakyoin probably isnnt going to bleed out and die if you leave, but he still took some heavy damage.

And if that beating wasnt enough to make him go back to normal, he'll probably cause some sort of commotion when he wakes up.

"We can take a better look at him when we get to my house." He informs as he picks Kakyoin up and carries him on his shoulder.

"We should probably try to figure out how to draw out your dormant stand at some point, too.'' You add. "That would certainly be a big wrench in Dio's plans."

Jotaro nods, appearing to be somewhat amused by the idea of getting a similar ability to you and Kakyoin.

He opens the door as you both exit out of the men's bathroom, as you follow him on the way to the Joestar residence, you can fee that your bizarre adventure with Jotaro has only begun...

Joseph might be able to teach Hitomi the real basic stuff about Hamon, but I’d guess that he’s not going to have the expertise or time to get Hitomi up to snuff. It’s been a pretty long while since he’s seriously practiced it, I bet.

Though it would be funny to see him squirm when Hitomi earnestly asks him why he didn’t keep up with practicing a generations-old anti-vampire technique if he knew that he’d have to take care of Dio sooner or later.
>>
>>1956729
It's still definitely a subject I'd like to explore, given the chance. The ability to walk on water is fucking useful in and of itsself, but then you throw in the bonuses like being 50 while looking in your early 30s and general increased health with proper upkeep.

Think we should consider grabbing some extra materials from our house? For more variety and options. Marble's good but we could grab some softer stuff and maybe some jewelery.
