What was once a peaceful evening had its tranquility shattered as the Chitin Choir wail through the streets of Iti'a'Ropku. The adopted citizens of the Armada rushed and flowed as they funneled into shelters or into buildings guided by Reconstructed and Necrolytes. The aurora lights just starting to appear in the sky are nearly hidden by a shimmering screen of energy that envelops the city, the shield raised as a precaution. Across the hemisphere where the Armada had concentrated it's infrastructure defenses warm up, hidden turrets creaking from their default positions in wait as missile silos prepare a defensive barrage.

Yet the world of Horizon's Drop had yet to come under true assault, rather the lights just now reaching the planet from its moon where the fleets of the Osjiic Empire launched their attack against the defending picket fleet. Ripples of Voidlight marked where the attackers had arrived, their powerful engines warping the gravity around the ships as they opened fire with missile, kinetic slug, and energy blast.

This system, and moon in particular, were no stranger to the aggressions of the Void tyrants and they find themselves facing more resistance than they had likely planned. Surface mounted defenses unleash a veritable storm of missiles that leap out ahead the swarms of strikecraft, their detonations as they are shot down or striking shield and hull lighting up the void with blossoms of fire. A crackling beam of green Necrotic energy lances up from the midst of a shipyard, the orbital cannon disguised as an out of order pylon, the finger of potent energy burning a hole through the hull of a light cruiser that lists dangerously before detonation.

Despite the defenses of the heavily fortified moon the Imperial ships rain down their own destruction upon its pale surface. Shipyards are torn apart by a missile bombardment, the half-finished skeletons of various ships breaking apart. Several capital ships launch salvos of drop-pods toward the lunar surface, streams of bullets and energy bolts cutting down many but the remainder manage to land and expel their forces. Soldiers, mechs and tanks landing among the wreckages or out among the undeveloped craters and plains to throw themselves into silent conflict with the Reconstructed that flooded forth from the ground like a hive of insects woken from their slumber.

Above it all the black ship of the Deathshead Guardian floats at the heart of the invasion fleet, angling itself directly over the buried Void Temple.

War has come once again for Horizon's Drop, but this time the Empire has struck when the defenders of the Armada are absent and its leader still indisposed.

Summon a fleet of similar size from Bastion. Until then, Lorgul gets to enjoy himself.

It's a shame we don't have interdictor ships ready yet, we could really punish this sort of raiding behaviour otherwise.

The Osjiic Empire attacks!

In the aftermath of the Ahkam Dynasty's failed invasion of the Bastion system the Osjiic Empire has broken their proposed cease-fire after an extremely short amount of time to launch an attack on the homeworld of the New Necrotic Armada, Horizon's Drop. Seemingly led by the Deathshead Guardian 13 Ascendant the fleet that had hoped to take the Armada by surprise was detected by deep space gravity sensors before they could arrive.

Nonetheless they have launched their assault against the moon, bombarding the shipyards and defenses while landing group troops by drop pod. Alarmingly the battleship tagged as the Deathsheads flagship has taken position over the hidden Void Temple with Osjiic forces attempting to make their way there.

Currently three Voidknight Disciples are stationed in the temple, the others spread across the Armada or located in the B'Nan system. They call out, alerting the Voidknights Lorgul and Jareth. Jareth already departs with two of the Disciples in their Void Terror gunships racing toward the system as Lorgul assembles a fleet to follow.

The Deep Rot attempts to contact Valresko but the ships carrying him and Ruscuv were unable to be reached mid-FTL travel. It alerts Jor that Predator Eiton, and Punisher Muic were departing Bastion while Tlacex, Nekris, and Agona stayed behind with the captive Ahkam.

All that remained of the Armada's Generals in Horizon's Drop was Jor himself, the Deep Rot contacting him for advice on how to proceed. Vle'Karak has offered his assistance to the Necromancer, stating that he would show them why the Empire called him the Butcher. As well, the Armatocere Warship still in orbit by the nearly finished Wormstars Fist sends notice that it would gladly stand in defense of the Armada and await guidance.

There was much to do and tend to in this spontaneous moment of battle, what shall Jor command first?

Yeah, after this is dealt with we need interdiction tech on Horizon's Drop. We need to make raiding our capital suicide, if only for propaganda/morale purposes.
>>
>>2021408
Also of note, Valreskos Solar Disciple is currently on the moon as well in the Solar Temple and offers their aid how they can but remind that they are weak against the Void
>>
>>2021408
Time for Jor to get his hand dirty again

Hey vlekarrack.. You busy or would you care to join me killing osjiic
>>
>>2021408
Grant Vle'Karak a brevet generalship and have Jor use him as a constant source of advice. Jor should have him around for every military decision.

Tactically, allow the Osijic to close on the temple so they can be pinned down. As before if any half built interdictor prototypes (the trapper-keeper grub a thread or so ago) we could use them.

Otherwise, hold them under planetary defence fire as much as possible.

Can the Deep Rot estimate time till reinforcement?
>>
>>2021408
The void temple is clearly their primary target, and that means it's our primary point to defend. They either want to destroy or drain it.

Direct the Voidknight Disciples to focus purely on defense and stalling. The invaders must be kept from reaching the temple itself. Anything that would slow them down should be done. If they just wanted to bombard it they wouldn't be sending troops.

Vle'Karak and Jor should focus on a direct assault of of the enemy flagship. The goal is to force 13 Ascendant to stop providing support for the assault on the temple.

Time is on our side. The longer we can delay them, the more of our reinforcements will arrive. All of theirs are already here.

So in short, we need to focus on keeping ourselves intact while preventing the void temple from being breached. Once we have enough reinforcements, we'll then destroy the enemy fleet in earnest.
>>
>>2021466
And if I didn't make it clear enough, that attack on the flagship should turn into evasion as soon as its attention is redirected. We're stopping an assault on the temple, not killing them.

Yet.
>>
>>2021479
I'll change my view to stalling action as here instead of pinning. While I want the fleet dead, I'm concerned this attack is more suicidal than I'd like and they're specifically after the temple.

Running a hand across his scalp Jor gives a deep sigh as he feels the pressure of the situation weighing down on him. He looks to the holoscreens where the Deep Rot showed that Predator Eitons force would be the first to arrive after roughly two hours followed closely by Voidknight Jareth and his Disciples. The Voidknights were well aware that 13 Ascendant Blade seemed to be making the Void Temple their target and urge Jor to keep it safe.

"Delay them as long as possible, if the Void Temple is their target we need to keep them occupied with attempted to capture it long enough for Eiton and Jareth to arrive," Jor says, mostly for the benefit of Vle'Karak and Red-Leaf-Strains that loomed over him.

Vle'Karak hisses, lowering his head to be closer to Jors eyelevel, "Unleash me and the other two. Give us the chance to defend this world we would call our new home. To show those that doubt us our true intent. Send me into battle and I will make them regret their insolence," he says, bristling with barely contained anticipation and excitement.

"I agree with him, Jor. You should go as well, the Deep Rot can handle planetary defenses and the Reconstructed would fight better with you on hand," Red-Leaf-Strains says, her hands clasped before her, "I will stay here to look over the people should they decide to attack the city," she looks to Vle'Karak then back to Jor, "You two are likely the strongest entities in his city beside Lord Jadyk. I know you will be capable, I witnessed your trials on Clour and in Refuge. Show them why Lord Jadyk made you the leader of this Armada in his absence."

Jor gives a bitter laugh, "No pressure huh?" he asks to the osogos bleating laugh. With a deep breath to center himself and a shot of mild calming sedatives from his symbiot he looks over the holoscreens rapidly as the Deep Rot feeds plans and simulations to him.

>Armada forces will attempt to delay and hinder the Empires attempts to break into the Void Temple until proper reinforcements can arrive
>Vle'Karak offers to go and assist while claiming that Cve'jok and Dne'tec could also be sent to fight for the Armada
>Red-Leaf-Strains urges Jor to join them on the battlefield

Should Jor enter the battle alongside Vle'Karak?
>Send Jor and Vle'Karak
>Send only Vle'Karak
>Send the Ahkam trio
>Send all four
>Other (write-in)
>>
>>2021596
>Send all four

That bit about the local buff to Reconstructed could make the difference. The Ahkam can tangle with 13 Ascendant Blade while Jor helps the Void Disciples with the defense of the temple proper. That's where more of the Reconstructed are anyway.

Jor is not a master tactician anyway, and Deep Rot will stop obvious changes from being overlooked.
>>
>>2021596
>Send all four
The more the better. We arnt going for offence, just defense. As soon as reinforcements arrive, its hammer and anvil time. Just prioritize survival.
>>
>>2021596
Jor lifts his hand out and Desolation flies out from where it had been propped against a column and into his grasp, the crystal growths bursting from the back of the Talons skull beginning to glow, "So be it," he says with a voice more confident than he felt as he looked to Vle'Karak, "Send a message to Cve'jok and Dne'tec. Tell them it is time to prove their loyalty to this Armada. The Empire will regret this poor decision of theirs."

Vle'Karak gives a pleased hiss as he bows his head, touching the horns on his brow with his tail blades before turning to speak quickly with his attendant demi-Think Tank to send the messages to the pair of serpents before they depart from the Spire.

Only a few minutes later several Coffins lift off from the city, slowing to a crawl to pass through the dome of refracted energy, then accelerating rapidly to meet up with a corvette. It was already charging its engine to race the human and four serpents him to the moon.

Once the Coffins dock it lurches forward, engines burning bright as a portion of ships from Horizon's Drop peels away from the picket fleets to reinforce those already engaged and provide cover for the corvette and it's special cargo.

First Necromancer Jor is accompanied by the newly loyal Ahkam serpents to help stall the assault by the Osjiic Empire.

The hallway shook subtly as an explosion detonates somewhere on the surface above, faint traces of moondust falling from the ceiling. The sound of Reconstructed feet hitting the stone was the only sound as groups of Stingers and Trolls set up defensive chokepoints. They secure automated turrets, drills whining as they are anchored to the walls or ceiling, or deploy walls of reinforced bone that provide cover and narrow the halls. Void Centurions stand stoically, their forms rippling with Voidlight while gripping their deadly weaponry in hand as the ground rumbles again from a closer explosion.

The trio of Voidknight Disciples stood just outside the grand doors of the Void Temple, their voices rough as they spoke. One who stood with a pair of Voidbone hammers at their waist growls out, "The enemy draws nearer still. Voidknight Jareth will be here not soon enough."

"We are Voidknights, even if we are but Disciples. We shall stand against this assault and survive," replies one who leaned on a great maul to rival Lorguls.

The third, who had once been a Necrolyte Voidsinger and the only of their number to volunteer for Disciplehood alongside the Arcdancer Orvca, speaks then, "First Necromancer Jor is coming to assist us with the Ahkam Butcher and his family."

They growl and the first speaks, "The First Necromancer takes a deadly risk trusting the snakes."

"Should it be a mistake, we are Disciples of the Voidknight Order. Any foe that rises to threaten the Armada will feel our flames and learn regret," says the former Legionnaire, their eyeless gaze looking to their siblings in undeath.

They both nod in return, "Yes, we are of the Voidknight Order. We must bring honor to it and us," says the second.

"With this battle, we may yet gain our names," says the first, hands falling to their hammers.

The hall shakes even more violently then, more of the pale dust falling from above. The Disciples turn their backs to the door as Voidlight engulfs their forms, the first and third stepping forth to meet the coming invaders as the second stands guard over their Temple.

Above on the surface was the ruins of a shipyard section dedicated to building the Void-powered weaponry for their ships due to the proximity of the massive Void reactor within the Temple itself. Explosions blossomed into balls of flame and light as grenades and rockets are launched against the opposing sides while the darkness of the moon is illuminated by a strobe of energy blasts.

Osjiic soldiers in their pressurized armors march or hop across the rubble and wrecks in the low-gravity, many relying on their jump-packs to launch themselves over barricades and the heads of Reconstructed soldiers. High caliber slugs and bullets rip into the shields and cover of the Stingers and Cyclops that pop out to fire their own kinetic rounds of explosive or hollow acidic rounds that tear into and depressurize their armors. Voidsingers filled the thoroughfares and alleys with more numbers than had been previously seen, their auras of Voidlight and explosive attacks shining like motes of personified darkness among the dust and smoke that layered upon them with no wind to blow it away.

As a group of soldiers are guided by a pair of Voidsingers toward the Temple between smoldering buildings they are suddenly beset by Trolls bursting forth from hatches and crevasses. With silent screams in the airless alley they throw themselves at the invaders, thermal vibroaxes and cleavers hacking against the armor and shields of the Osjiic. Chaos descended upon the ambushed group as several Trolls leap from above to skewer unfortunate osjiic below them with spears only to be gunned down in retaliation by their comrades.

There is a burst of pressure felt through gravitic forces rather than transferred through the air as the Voidsingers throw small spheres of deceptively powerful Void energy that detonate and tear several Trolls into pieces. Several Trolls charge and both draw their hammers and hardlight shields ignite over their forearms to meet the charge. Each blow of their hammers created small explosions that cracked shield and bone, shattering the Trolls.

The ambush seems to fail as the Osjiic subdue the Trolls, but as the last fell and the Imperials began assessing their condition by counting the dead and wounded there was a flurry of Arclight and a spray of black blood splattering the walls of the alley.

Seeming to appear out of thin air Arc Vipers threw themselves at the soldiers, powerful nested jaws tearing limb and head from body. Arc-edged blades adorning their bodies made them weapons as they slashed and carved their way through the unprepared soldiers who had never seen this kind of undead before. The Voidsingers fell quickly, their powers not as effective against the fast and vicious undead. One of them having its limbs torn free from their body in the midst of the flurry of fangs, blades, and Arc energy.

Deployed from the far off Arc Temple at Jors command reinforcements of Arc Trolls, Vipers, and Savages were unleashed upon the soldiers to initially devastating results. Throughout the ruined shipyards the Arc powered undead threw the invaders into chaos as they tried adapting to this new unexpected adversary.

Squads of the Void Centurions held the areas surrounding the entrances that lead to the underground, the stalwart undead managing to hold back the Osjiics assaults with the assistance of Brutes and Crawlers.

>>2022297
Far above the conflicts on the surface the Osjiic fleet retaliates against the forces of Reconstructed ships sent from Horizon's Drop that had drawn within firing range. Renewed exchanges of missiles filled the void of space as the heavy osjiic fighters that were closer to gunships dueled Nails and proper Armadan gunships. Capital ships traded fire with their devastating spinal guns, beams of Necrotic and Void energy leaping across the distance to melt through hulls or fizzle against shields. Already a number of large ships both Armada and Empire had fallen to make new craters upon the lunar surface.

From beneath the surface of the moon nearly on the opposite side of it the Solar Disciple floated in a chamber filled with a staggering array of holoscreens. Legs folded underneath and their tail lashing slowly the eyeless Reconstructed growled out suggestions and commands as they helped guide the efforts of the ships. While they were not as confident in their strategies and abilities as Valresko was, they had been a dedicated student as she watched the Dominator guide the Armadas ships in Bastion. They took in the data as it was fed to them in near real time, their mind racing as they formulate new strategems and take note of fracturing lines of defense.

It was through their guidance that a stealth corvette managed to slip between a line of heavy cruisers and bring itself just above the damaged shipyards near a pylon that yet stood. To the Osjiic that managed to be looking in that direction they were treated to the shocking sight of a human figure in pale white armor and crackling with Necrotic energy appearing out of nothingness followed by a trio of Ahkam serpents whose forms pulsed with barely contained Arc energy. Appearing just behind were a squadron of heavy exosuits piloted by Necrolytes, their oversized jump-packs driving them toward the surface.

Jors mind reaches out to the undead below him, their minds both primitive and advanced shining like a sea amid the rubble and ruin, the Reconstructed looking in his direction as they all sensed him. With a renewed fury the undead launched themselves against the invaders, the Osjiic advance upon the Temple stalled for the moment as their forces were mauled and assaulted.

Slowing his fall with his armors built in grav harness just enough to avoid injuring himself Jor aims himself for the middle of a clearing between demolished buildings. It had once been a busy intersection where hovercraft passed as they carried supplies for the pylons, but now served as a temporary beachhead for the Osjiic Empire. The Dirge crystal in his armor flared with red light as he throws up a telekinetic bubble that deflects the barrage of bullets launched at him, a swipe of his staff sending a cluster of micro-rockets swerving off to explode harmlessly against the nearby ruins.

With a shout that is lost to the silence of the airless moon he collides lands in the midst of a cluster of soldiers, swinging Desolation down to strike the ground. The blow rapidly expands the bubble of telekinetic forces, launching Osjiic away from him in a tangled mess. As they tried to right themselves with their jump-packs in the low gravity Jor swings Neun, the shardspitter personally crafted and gifted by Lord Jadyk himself, to fire a spray of flechettes that glow like tracer rounds with Necrotic energy. The darts of bone pierce through their armors with ease, the entropic energies they were infused with causing flesh and metal to decay rapidly.

A soldier that had been outside the radius of his detonation came sailing for him swinging thermal vibrocleavers taller than Jor in each hand. Stepping back with a skip, the blades slamming into the ground where he'd been a moment before, Jor fires a burst of flechettes but the warrior deflects them with the flat of the blade causing the alloy to discolor and warp slightly but holding. The other blade comes swinging for him and Jor slaps it out of the way with a telekinetic burst so it sails over his head as he ducks.

Desolation moved then, nearly faster than the human could see, the segmented spine that formed the staff loosing its tension as the petrified Talon skull darts forward like a serpent. The Osjiic recoils as it snaps at their face, Jor moving almost without realizing as his symbiot in that moment feeds him the muscle memory taken from thousands of Necrolyte Legionnaires. With a kick from his powered armor at the side of the warriors knee and an added telekinetic burst sends them nearly toppling as Jor uses his momentum to spin around the off-balance Osjiic. Desolation swings up in both hands as he drives the spike of black metal at the end of the staff through the lowerback of the warrior just below their jump-pack.

Jor could feel the life-force of the soldier flow through the staff into him, another kick sending the now shriveled and lifeless being free from his staff. Invigorated by battlefield snack Jor turns his gaze upon the Osjiic regaining their feet, his body twisting out of the way of a rocket that detonates against the ground behind him.

>cont
>>
>>2022765
Using the pressure wave of heat to launch himself at the offender and with a heave of his arm the Osjiic drops the launcher from their shoulder as Desolation seems to blossom from their chest. Landing before the staggering warrior Jor throws his palm out at a soldier rushing him with a thermal bayonet glowing at the end of their rifle, the telekinetic burst sending them and another osjiic careening through the air. Neun fires another spray of the deadly flechettes as Jor reaches out to pluck both staff and life-force from the soldier, the Necromancer already moving onto another target by the time they fell to the ground.

Only on the ground for a few moments he had already disrupted a portion of the beachhead as the Osjiic finally begin opening fire at him, the bullets ricocheting off his telekinetic shield to strike their allies more than him. The empathic sensors built into his helm alerted him to a sudden wave of terror that swept through the soldiers around him as the area is bathed in a sudden strobe of Arclight.

It had been pondered by the Deep Rot and Think Tanks how the Ahkam could stand up against the superior military of the Osjiic Empire, but now as they watched the Ahkam throw themselves at the invaders do they begin to understand.

Cve'jok slithers through the airless void as if swimming through water, Arclight flowing off her form as she shoots down like a lightning bolt. Her hood flares moments before she strikes the ground and pulls up sharply to race furiously down a narrow street the Osjiic were using to bypass rubble. As she emerges from the street her blue scales are now stained dark with the black oily blood of the osjiic, several limbs wedged between her blades and a Voidsinger clutched between her fangs. With a savage shake of her head she throws the broken body to the ground and snarls silently, her hood flaring aggressively at the group of Osjiic nearby then throws herself at them as well.

The green scales of Dne'tec flash with discharged Arc energy as a spray of brilliant bolts are unleashed from his maw at near point blank range as he flies over the heads of a group taking cover behind a burnt out Battletomb. Their bodies seem to burst from their armors like popcorn kernals but the serpent has no time to relish the easy kills as he is struck by a strong Void burst. Twisting around he spots the offending juggernaut mech, the surgically implanted soldier at the center of the robotic construct sending it charging at the serpent. Dne'tec darts out of the way of a swung fist and the sledge that leaves a crater in the wall it struck, and coils around it suddenly. Fangs sparking with energy he bites down at the "throat" of the mech and Arc energy surges into it, frying the pilot.

>>2022772
It was easy to see how Vle'Karak had earned his name, the serpent becoming a flurry of destruction unleashed upon the Osjiic. Fangs and blade rend bodies limb from limb, Arc lightning leaving charred husks of armor. Any time the soldiers attempted to take aim and open fire upon him there is a burst of Arclight as he blinks away to strike from an unexpected angle. He seemed to make it his goal to target the Voidsingers, the quasi-dead falling before his cruel strikes.

A group of them tried to attack him together, their spheres of explosive energy chasing him down each time he blinked away. As he is distracted by a lucky hit from the turbulent attack he suddenly finds himself with several unexpected passengers as a trio of Voidsingers clung to his scales. They struck with their hammers, one even pulling a telescoping thermal spike to plunge into his back but the Ahkam merely cackles in the silent void. Before they could inflict any true damage to him there is a blinding detonation of Arc lightning that arcs off his form and the thoroughly cooked bodies of the Voidsingers that fall from his body.

Necrolyte heavy armors land amid the chaos spread by Jor and the Ahkam, the humanoid mechs charging to assist the Necromancer. Chain repeaters and lightning cannons built into their forearms spin up and unleash their destruction against the Osjiic, bullet and lightning ripping through those unfortunate to be caught out of cover. Several of the osjiic juggernauts throw themselves into battle against the heavy armors, pilots on both sides relishing the opportunity to test their mettle against another.

As the beachhead is disrupted after nearly an hour of intense combat Jor takes a moment to catch his breath in the shadow of a broken juggernaut. He looks over the data fed to him by the Deep Rot, assessing the battle at hand while idly twisting a finger through the puddle of osjiic blood in the moondust drawing out Wormstar runes. It seemed that the arrival of himself and the Ahkam that were raging through other collections of Osjiic resistance and the deployment of the Arc Reconstructed has stalled their attempts to breach the tunnels leading to the Temple.

Yet as he looked over the data the Deep Rot sends an alert. In another heavily defended beachhead it appeared the Imperials had rapidly deployed a series of drills that were already ripping into the streets and rock below. Jor snarls, realizing the drills would strike a series of tunnels that would lead directly toward the Temple. Already he could see the Voidknight Disciples were sending Reconstructed to reinforce those areas while calling for someone to disable the drills.

How should Jor handle the drilling site?

>>2022783
Divert Vle'karak to the drilling sites. His arc blink ability should make him better at quickly reaching the drilling equipment. The goal is disabling the drills, not necessarily disrupting that entire beachhead. The drilling machinery is likely more vulnerable to arc energy than necrotic too, since it's got to be made of very durable metals and reinforced mechanisms to churn through rock.

Whether we send Cve'jok and Dne'tec with him depends on how much cover Vle'Karak will need to reach the drills, and whether they're needed to prevent regroupings elsewhere. Thoughts?

>>2022835
Do we have any? And if the drills are already beneath the surface, it would take serious bunker-busting at precisely the right spot to kill the drilling crews.

There is artillery on the moon in the form of Battletombs and Crawlers

>>2024802
>do we have dedicated tunneling reconstructed
There is the industrial mining Reconstructed the Entropic Excavators and then the military version of it the Devastators which were used in the Kanda campaign.

The moon has at least a few of the Devastators on hand and plenty of Crawlers and Battletombs
>>
>>2024834
Do we have devastators
>>
>>2024834
Drop the hammer. We can rebuild later, but we have to prevent the temple being breached. I don't want to know what happens if they start fucking with the Void Reactor.
>>
Aaand I gotta sleep. Unfortunate timezone. Have fun, everyone.
>>
>>2024863
I should clarify that the area they are in is dedicated to the creation of the Void reactors used in the starships of the Armada.

The Deep Rot says a bombardment, even a concentrated effort, could possibly lead to a chain reaction that could threaten the Temple itself
>>
>>2024896
From so little? Who authorized building such temperamental equipment so close to the surface?

Fine, we'll have to send in the Ahkam trio and battletomb support instead.
>>
>>2024896
Then I vote again for sending Vle'Karak in.With arc blink, hopefully he can get in and out quickly.

The question I still have is how much support he's likely to need. We can send the other Ahkam or Jor with him to provide cover, but if we send too much to the drills we'll just be letting all the other Osjiic forces regroup.

>>2024924
The three Ahkam seem like an OK idea. And whatever support is needed to suppress whoever would be shooting them, just long enough for Vle'Karak to shut the drills down.
>>
>>2024924
Orbital bombardment would really mess up the area.

Unless you're meaning an artillery bombardment which would have less of a damaging effect to the surrounding structures
>>
>>2024971
Artillery time on target barrage to suppress units, then send in the Ahkam and Battletombs right on the heels of it.

It's not elegant, but it's effective.
>>
I would suggest against damaging one of our most prolific shipyards

Mass drop relaunch of reconstructed to flood the area with the dead should be advised to minimize structural damage
>>
>>2024771
Plan seems to be
>Soften the area with artillery
>Send Ahkam trio and Jor with vehicle support
>Prep tunnels for possible breach

Agreeable?

Jor began speaking to the air as he strode out from behind the wrecked vehicle before a mental nudge forces him to let out a swear before pressing a finger to the side of his helm, "Vle'Karak, got a new target for us. Contact the other two and share the news," he says before rattling off his plan.

A twitch of Vle'Karaks head sends the bleeding form of a soldier sailing away to collide with a pile of rubble. He was loosely coiled, Arc energy pulsing along his form holding him aloft in the center of a rubble-strewn road, the pseudo-psionic implant nearly all Ahkam had in order to contact each other and their ships connecting him to the human, <Affirmative> he replies before reaching out to Cve'jok and Dne'tec and disappearing with a flash of light.

Only a few miles away where the Imperial forces had barricaded a sizable thoroughfare. With rubble blocking the roads used by hovercraft only hours prior the ways in were covered by hovertanks and juggernaut mechs and groups of soldiers hunkered behind cover. They hid from cyclops snipers taking shots each time one moved into sight and from the occasional javelin explosive lobbed from afar.

In the center of the clearing a trio of drills bored their way into the lunar surface after punching through the road itself. Roughly larger than a battletomb each piles of pale pulverized stone were forming around them as the drills spat out the refuse, the machines rumbling in the silence. Nearby several anti-air missile pods had been set up and along the perimeter, their sensors scanning for swooping reconstructed or strikecraft as they rotated slowly. Soldiers rushed around in an organized chaos, each one following their tasks even as more commands came in. Voidsingers were easily spotted among them, their forms wreathed in Voidlight.

Their only warning that they were under attack was when several of the defense pods swiveled rapidly with an alert but an explosion erupts near one of the drills before they could open fire. Osjiic limbs and scrap went flying and a moment later another explosion struck a hovertank, engulfing it and a nearby troop carrier. More and more explosions erupted sending metal and bodies scattering with flame and pressure.

An artillery shell strikes one of the drills and punches through its hull before the round detonates sending searing shrapnel out to rip through its former operators. The other drills however are defended as juggernaut mechs assemble around them and project what appears to be a shield bubble over the remaining forces, soldiers dashing madly across the new craters in the desire for safety.

As the artillery rained down a sizable portion of their hovertanks and several mechs were struck and damaged if not outright destroyed. The rain of shells and explosives comes to an end after a stray shell struck a nearby building and the explosion of Void energy rippling out nearly obliterates all but a shell of the building. There was a tense moment as the Think Tanks monitoring the situation predict it may set off a chain reaction but to their relief the sphere of turbulent Voidflame recoils and shrinks down without igniting anything else.

There was a few moments of calm as the osjiic still huddled under the protective dome projected by the mechs or in the shadows of their destroyed tanks. A portable drone is launched into the air, the spheroid rising up with a pulse of faint Voidlight and begins scanning the area. It is unable to scan much though as it bursts from the explosive round a distant Cyclops placed through it, and another moment later they no longer worry about it as Arclight flashes blindingly along their perimeter.

A limping mech that had survived the bombardment is knocked back as Vle'Karak blinks in front of it, his body twisting with blinding speed to strike them with their bladed tail gouging away a large piece of their armor. The serpent blinks as the guns of a grounded tank open fire, appearing again a moment later to plunge the blades into the cockpit of the tank.

Chaos erupts once more as Vle'Karak descended upon the group even as the drills continue their digging. He moved and struck like the lightning he personified, moving faster than they could track or fire upon. Arc lightning sprayed from his mouth, frying osjiic inside their armor while the occasional grenade they carry explodes from the overload of energy. He is finally struck as a juggernaut mech, its form more decorated and clearly more advanced than the others leaps forward from the dome of energy, a rotating barrel opening fire with a stream of burning metal that rake the serpent.

Snarling the serpent blinks away, reappearing to sink his fangs into the arm carrying the gun as his tail sliced at its densely armored legs but the mech was stronger than he expected. Still, even as he chipped several fangs, the gun is disabled but he's forced to let go as the other limb swings a rapidly spinning drill bit that glowed white hot at his skull. The clearly elite juggernaut pursued the serpent but through the pseudo-psionic link that Jor had the Think Tanks reactivate in the serpents his laughter was clear.

Another round of explosions drew the attention of the defending osjiic as they spot groups of Battletombs escorting Hearses full of Reconstructed soldiers. The hovering warvehicles opened fire with their missile pods, Needles raining down like a blanket of fire and shrapnel as they approached. Yet before the armored vehicles could draw into range to deposit their cargos the beachhead was assaulted from two more sides.

Like lightning bolts Cve'jok and Dne'tec descend upon them, their fangs and Arc carving through the soldiers that desperately tried to defend themselves. Voidsingers tried to stand up and fight but even they must have known how futile it was as Cve'jok slices several in half with a twitch of her head and flex of her hood in passing.

Jor's voice rings inside their heads, "Damn, leave something left for me," he says with a laugh. Dne'tec looks up from where he had just routed a group of osjiic from the shell of a armored carrier to where a Devil Reconstructed swoops, in Jor standing upon its back without fear of falling.

<There are still the drilling crews to eliminate> came Dne'tecs reply before he moved in, a bolt of brilliant blue light leaping from his fangs to crackle along the shield that started to glow brighter with the effort of maintaining itself.

Cve'jok joins her distant brother, both Ahkam serpents strafing the projected shields with their bolts of Arc lightning. As they absorb more and more of the energy the shields glow brighter and brighter, the heat building up inside likely unbearable as Jor could see the mechs venting heat in rippling waves from the exhausts on their backs.

Jor scanned the battlefield as the Devil swooped around it, an idle wave of his hand deflecting a missile launched from a auto-turret that somehow still functioned. The HUD of his helm highlights the area, markers noting each corpse strewn about the nearly ruined beachhead. His grip tightening on Desolation he takes a deep breath as Necrotic energy begins to crackle along the powerful weapon and up his arm. With a simple step forward he begins to plummet as the Devil swoops away.

Wrapped in a wreath of Necrotic energy he streaks down to land while slamming the fossilized skull at the end of his staff against the ground when he lands in the midst of scattered corpses. Like streamers bolts of green energy leap out from him to strike the corpses then leap to another. Clouds of dust were swept up around him, green flashes illuminating the interior of the cloud.

Vle'Karak sported new wounds that would surely leave fresh scars to join the old, a trickle of blood leaking from his maw as he bares his fangs threateningly at the damaged juggernaut. It was missing one arm and much of its armor had been burned away by the Arc lightning the serpent threw at it. Its stout legs pump suddenly, throwing the Juggernaut forward with its thermal drill aimed for his throat but the drill only impacts Arclight as Vle'Karak disappeared. Fangs plunge into its shoulder near the cluster of sensors that formed a "head" and Arc energy surges through it until it's Void core fails and the mech slouches forward motionless.

Lifting himself away from the downed mech looks up to see the forms of Osjiic soldiers he'd slain himself begin staggering out from a cloud of dust, their damaged and depressurized armors glowing faintly green as the metal decays and rusts before his eye. The group trudges forward, weapons lifted up in their hands as they begin picking up speed until they are jogging for the shield dome.

Striding forth from the cloud came Jor, Necrotic flames engulfed around the skull of Desolation as he lifts a hand toward the drills and barked out a command in Wormtongue. The zombified Osjiic broke into a full run, bursting through the near opaque shields that blocked the flashes of weaponsfire breaking out within. It took only a few moments before the shields failed and the serpents could witness the chaos that had broken out within.

>cont
>>
>>2025706
The zombified soldiers had been unexpected, believed at first to be survivors attempting to reach safety until they opened fire and attacked with bayonet and blades. The juggernauts staggered around, unsure of which to target in the rising dust clouds as the soldiers clashed with the undead. Voidsingers that survived swung their hammers, pulping the skulls and chests of the zombies that came for them, their gravity manipulating abilities sending the undead into the air or flying away.

Jor strode forward, blood leaking from his nose and ears but he felt no pain as he reached out through the motes of Necrotic energy he'd flung into each of the corpses, controlling them like a puppet. He ignored the Think Tanks demanding answers to his seemingly newfound ability, instead focusing on the death of those that threatened his home. He only turns away long enough to speak out over his link to the serpents pseudo-psionic implants, "Destroy the mechs, I'll keep the crews distracted while the others destroy the drills."

<Others?> Cve'jok questions curiously even as she dove to tackle a juggernaut on the edge of the group, her coils wrapping tighter and tighter around it as she surges with energy to cook to pilot alive inside.

<Our reinforcements> came Dne'tecs answer as he himself combats with a juggernaut, his tail blades slicing through the rotating barrels of its gun.

Just as the serpent had guessed there was a rumbling underfoot as the Battletombs and Hearses arrived, their cargo of Reconstructed soldiers rushing forth like a tide of undead bone and metal. Talons and Stalkers moved like a ravenous swarm around the feet of the Brutes charging forth, their heavy shields providing cover from the Osjiic who still had a mind to defend their position.

Reconstructed undead rush forward, joining the dwindling number of zombies Jor had risen in overrunning the surviving osjiic. Just as it had happened before, on Kanda and even Horizon's Drop, the Imperial soldiers found themselves separated into groups lost amid the sea of undead. They fought stubbornly, taking down at nearly ten Reconstructed for every one of their soldiers that fell to the undead. Jor couldn't help but feel a moment of admiration for their bravery before his disdain for their stupidity took over.

As Jor and the undead dealt with the living soldiers and the Ahkam and Brutes clashed with the remaining juggernauts, the drills came under assault from the mauls and vaporizer cannons of the Brutes. Turbulent blasts of plasma and necrotic energy vaporize portions of the drills armor, the other Brutes stepping in to bash and hack away at the machinery, Smoke began pouring off of them until ones engine catches fire and dies with a small explosion, the others quickly following suit.

New Necromancer technique unlocked:
>Blight Song:
Inspired by Jor's battle with the Rogue Necromancer and their Immortal patron First Necromancer Jor has redeveloped a skill once thought lost to the Necromancers of the Galaxy. By concentrating on a build up of potentially dangerous levels of Necrotic energy a Necromancer can cast this energy out that seek out nearby corpses and reanimate them temporarily, bound to the will of the Necromancer casting it. Reanimated zombies do not last long depending on the skill and strength of the caster, higher numbers of zombies controlled mean a shorter duration.

As Jor reanimated the osjiic to turn them against their former allies the gravitic sensors drifting outside of the solar systems edge sensed the gravity shadow of FTL starships rapidly approaching the system. The fleets tensed, readying themselves for the arrival of another Osjiic fleet but with a burst of radiation and light a fleet of Armadan ships appears on the other side of the moon from the conflict. Without waiting the ships begin racing, curving around the moon attempting to use its gravity to accelerate toward the conflict concentrated over the Void Temple.

"Your back-up has arrive, First Necromancer. Sorry it took so long," says the voice in Jors helm as he hefts Neun and guns down an osjiic leaping at him with a large cleaversword.

Predator Eiton's cloaked corvette races ahead of the reinforcement ships. He stood in its bridge, his cyclopean eye looking over the data displayed before him.

"Good to hear from you, Eiton. You managed to beat Jareth here," Jor replies as he ducks behind an overturned hovertank. He glances up, the dark shape of the Deathsheads flagship blotting out the stars behind it as it loomed overhead, "The Ahkam and I have the situation mostly handled down here, they're after the Void Temple."

"They must not like having to share their power," he glances to the being that stood next to him and chuckles, "How is it us undead are the only ones who know how to keep to a truce, eh Orvca?"

The Disciple nods, their cluster of eyes scanning the data as well before the bone slats slide shut, sealing her skull in armored bone, "They must be taught a less. First Necromancer, just tell us where you need us."

Even as she spoke Jor was alerted to another gravity shadow and Void signature rapidly approaching. Once more the fleets tense and nearly open fire as there is a burst of Voidlight as a trio of ships burst forth engulfed in Void energy. The ships began tracking them when the psionic signal was detected and a message sent toward Jor as well.

"First Necromancer, let me handle the Deathshead Guardian. I wish to teach them who is the true inheritor of the Voidlords legacy," came the voice of Jareth as his Void Terror was flanked by those of two Disciples, both personally trained by the General to pilot the potent craft.

>Reinforcements have arrived

Void Hammer and Arc Sickle. Jareth and his Disciples smash at their bigger capital ships, while Eiton picks at the smaller ones. As the hammer smashes the rocks, the sickle reaps the wheat.
>>

Have Eiton and back up board the flagship from the stealth cruiser and start clearing, get Jareth to back him up.

Run this as essentially a stealth hit on the flagship while the rest of the fleet hits theirs from the front

I agree with the use of the Jareth's forces to assault the biggest ships, mainly 13 Ascendant Blade's flagship. The disagreement seems to be on what Eiton should do.

I think he should focus first on taking out smaller targets quickly and disabling anyone trying to escape. He's mobile and is good at hit and run.

The reason I'm initially hesitant to have him board the flagship is that Jareth requested a showdown with 13 Ascendant Blade. This assault is about who is the rightful heir of the Ghul's Void powers.

Maybe have Eiton offer to assist with boarding operations once Jareth starts them, and leave the decision up to Jareth? At any rate, Jareth needs to be the one to find 13 Ascendant Blade. That's not necessarily the smartest move for winning this battle easily, but it's really good propaganda if we win.

The Osjiic Empire needs to know that they are inferior.
>>
>>2025892

I'm more about having Eiton board due to a few things;

1) He's fucking badass
2) Arc surge is still on
3) Arc>Void

But I 100% agree, we would want him to stay away from the bridge and the fight with 13 Ascendant Blade.
I'd want him to move through the ship working to disable it and securing sectors around the bridge, so that Jareth can destroy 13 Ascendant Blade

Alright, time to get this battle going again

Currently the Imperial invaders fleet has been concentrated around the moon of Horizon's Drop. The flagship leading the attack appears to be a powerful battleship recognized as commanded by the Deathshead Guardian 13 Ascendant Blade, who has previously encountered the Voidknights. This flagships is maintaining its position directly above the Void Temple hidden under the surface of the moon, the fleet raining drop pods and mechs seemingly with orders to locate the Temple itself.

First Necromancer Jor and the newly pledged Vle'Karak were joined by the serpents Cve'jok and Dne'tec and launched a counter-attack upon the moon, disrupting much of the Osjiic Empires beachheads and attempts to reach the Temple. Assisted by the Void and Solar Disciples they have managed to hold back the invaders for now but the Imperials do not appear even close to giving up.

The counter-attack managed to gain enough time that eventually a fleet headed by Predator Eiton and the Arc Disciple Orvca arrived from Bastion to reinforce the moon. Shortly after the Voidknight Jareth arrived with two more of the Void Disciples, eager to join battle against a foe he saw as a personal adversary against the Voidknight Order.

The Osjiic fleet continues to fight on, their forces learned to be made of veterans personally chosen for this task after interrogation by symbiot and NID extraction. From a high ranked Voidsinger broken by Dne'tecs fangs there is confirmation of a reinforcing fleet but size, composition, and arrival times were unknown, the Empire finding the tight control of information a priority in warfare.

There is much to do and tend to still, how should the defenders proceed?
>Write-in
>>
>>2037483
We need more reinforcements. We need to make this battle last as long as possible, at least until the Osjic decide that this isnt worth their time. Have Jareth and the disciples cause as much havoc as they can before 13 Ascendant Blade comes to duel them, at which point they need to subtly stall him while our forces destroy theirs. No kamikaze bullshit, Jareth and the Disciples are worth more alive then the Deathshead is dead.. While this is going on, turn this into a battle of attrition: that means cover our weak points(any void reactors in the Void temple), suffer minimal loses and attempt to bring in reinforcements. Maybe Lavafather has some ships he can spare.
>>
>>2037641
That was one thing I forgot to mention. Eiton and Jareth were the first to show up but there are fleets from both Bastion led by Muic and B'Nan by more Void Disciples incoming. This first wave were just the fastest responders.

The Armatocere Warship is still in orbit over HD right now. They say that until Jor asks for help they will maintain their position to defend the planet against any possible attacks that slip past the moon or arrive.
>>
>>2037656
Alright then. Buy time more reinforcments to arrive and in the meantime mposition our ships so that the enemy suffer terrible, terrible damage when the hammer arrives. Keep 13 Ascendant Blade occupied with an "honorable battle". As long as he is too busy to fortify his ships weak positions, they will crumble against us.

Also,if any lurkers dont have any ideas of their own,but support a stated one or just want the thread to keep moving, just reply to an suggested plan.
>>
>>2037694
Guess tonight just isn't the night. Might have to pick this up later if people stop lurking and post or on Sunday.
>>
>>2037483
I really think we should be more active in taking out the Osjic's command ship. While we *could* wait for mpre reinforcements, so are the enemy forces. If we allow them to get any type of foothold on the moon, or set up a ship blockade we're fucked until Jadyk can bail us out with sweet abomination powers. We should mount an offensive to get rid of ascendant blade as soon as possible, and have a sweet surprise ready for whoever else shows up.
>>

>>
>>2037483

>>2037694
Supporting both, in that we can assemble am elite team to take out 13 Ascendant Blade while the rest hold the invasion force off until our reinforcements arrive
>>
>>2038111
I wouldn't guarantee "take out". He is a full member of the Deathshead,so he wont be easy to take out. All we need to do is stop him from reinforcing his fleet until our reinforcements arrive. Once that happens, he will be relatively simple to defeat, though we need to be careful of him doing something like detonating the power source of his ship. If we cannot stall him, then we should focus on elimination.

I've been meaning to address this but with the Arc Surge and invasion it kinda fell to the wayside.

Currently they are building up their reserves of both Reconstructed and their version of "Legionnaires" and living volunteers from people they've rescued. They are also working to make contact with several rebel cells across Calera. Reconnaissance of the Synth territories are still underway.

They're still plotting ways to either take the City entirely or how to steal the Shard itself. Next step would be sending a spy to get a feel for the city itself.

They've been waiting for a chance to speak with Jadyk or Jor to give an update

Plans so far to deal with the invading fleet of 13 Ascendant Blade appear to boil down to
>Jareth and Void Disciples attack the flagship (either drawing the Guardian out, boarding the ship, or damaging it)
>Eiton and Orvca attack with hit-and-run strikes to disrupt the fleet
>Armada forces continue to engage the invaders while attempting to spread their numbers thin in preparation for a counterattack from reinforcement forces

This plan of attack look good to everyone?

So, looks like 13 Ascendant Blade was definitely prepared for Jareth's challenge. Though, to be fair, we walked right into that one.

The hit and run attacks are going to be super effective and might just be our saving grace here, while spreading and dividing the enemy fleet seems to have gone as well as it could.

The shields of the Imperial fleet shine with renewed intensity as the kinetic rounds fired by Eitons fleet strike, the dense slugs either glancing off or disintegrating against the energy weave. Others, already weakened from previous attacks, shatter and leave the ships exposed for the fighters and sub-capitals nearby. Beset by this new fleet the Empire attempts to tighten their ranks as they retaliate with their own attacks but by diverting their attention it lessened the focus on those that were already under attack, allowing them to regroup.

The battleship that formed the heart of the invaders fleet loomed like a black stain, it's silhouette warped and distorted by the Void energies that emitted from it. It's shields stood firm despite several probing attacks sent by the Solar Disciple to test it's defenses, the capital ships forming a shield around it turning back or shooting down the flights of swarmers and strikecraft. It had yet to attack itself, merely raining down drop pods and vehicles.

Its shields and those of the nearest battleships shine bright suddenly as bolts of Arclightning leap out from the group of corvettes that had been wrapped in stealth fields only moments before to strike against them. The bolts surge with a blinding light as the strike force lead by Eiton race past at high speeds, shields warping then failing as the energy rakes across the battleship hulls. Explosions mark their wake, balls of fire and dueling currents of Void and Arc showing where the attacks struck sensitive spots.

By the time the retaliation came the corvettes were already past their formation but the powerful turrets open fire and a pair of corvettes are struck down by condensed bolts of Void energy. Eiton, standing alone on the bridge, guides his ship as it weaves around the other ships of the invading fleet while lashing out while waiting for the stealth field to recharge.

The reinforcement fleet breaks up to move around the concentration of Imperial ships to join and give relief to those ships already in battle. Gladly the Think Tanks commanding the ships take the reprieve to recharge their shields as Reconstructed crews busy themselves with repairs and reloading the kinetic weaponry. Nails and Gunships sporting scorches and bullet holes dock with their hangars, armatures reaching out to secure them as rapid-set bone-paste was smeared across wounds on the armor. Empty missile pods are detached for the fresh replacements along with warped or fried flensers and flayers as their ships are fed a slurry of Cauldron biomass and fuel. Rearmed and freshly repaired the strikecraft detach and leap out once more, the Reconstructed crews feeling no fatigue as some were going out for the fifth or seventh time assaulting the invaders.

The Void Tyrants fought back fiercely, but it was becoming clear that their numbers could not maintain their hold over the moon for much longer without reinforcements or a new plan of attack. Forced to contend with the Armadas forces their attention was divided, but there was a single trio of ships that drew their attention most of all even beyond the devastating Arc attacks of Eitons stealth craft.

The Void Terrors twist and spun through the gap between starships, their void flayers ripping up the hulls of those they passed to vent atmosphere, flame, and crew into the deadly void. Turrets spun rapidly, the near constant stream of pulsing energy blasting from the voidscreamers tearing strikecraft to shreds.

Voidknight Jareth himself circled like a stalking predator around the black Voidships defenses, the pair of Disciples following his lead as they mop up in his destructive wake. He could sense the presence of the Deathshead, like a weight in the Void itself that was nearly hidden by the powerful reactors of the battleship. Grinding his teeth as his mind rushes, wondering just what 13 Ascendant Blade was planning, he finally sends out a hailing frequency aimed for the battleship. It took several moments for a connection to be established, during which he'd sent four heavy fighters careening away as the weapons of his ship tear them apart with violent gravitic forces.

A small holographic bust of the armored Deathshead appears before the Voidknight. The osjiic undead kept their helm lowered but the hologram flickers with the Voidlight surrounding them as Jareth spoke, "I had expected more from the Empire than to immediately break their cease-fire. Why even make the attempt at all?" he demands, his form nearly engulfed by the machinery of the cockpit linking with his armor.

The calm voice of the Deathshead crackles with static as they reply, "A necessity. Unfortunate, but a necessity. I had hoped you would arrive, Voidknight. This battle would not be as interesting if neither of the Armada's almighty Voidknights were actually here to stop us."

>cont
>>
>>2047963
As he spoke a new cluster of drop pods are launched from the belly of the Voidship above the Temple. Sensors detected Void signatures within several stronger than the common Voidsinger. From the limited image Jareth was unsure if they were personally within one of the pods until they spoke, "Our personal battle is not this day, Voidknight. We shall meet in battle among the Void someday, but for now, let our apprentices test their mettle against each other."

Launching from the ship itself are a pair of strikecraft Jareth instantly recognizes as the ships of the Deathshead from the auras and trails of Voidlight emanating from them. They arc around friendly ships to shield themselves from the attacks already sent after them.

"Are you such a coward to face me yourself, Deathshead?" Jareth demands bitterly through grit teeth.

"Today is a test, Voidknight. There will soon come a time where we will prove who is the true inheritor of the Black Flame," they say, a dark chuckle issuing from them, "To test undead against undead and see which of us is truly worthy of this power. Until then, let our underlings battle to see which of our orders can create the stronger undead."

The connection is severed and alerts are funneled toward the Voidknight. Of the drop pods that landed without being shot down, a group of what appear to be five Deathshead Guardians landed with a contingent of Voidsingers and Juggernauts. Already Jor was sending forces to intercept with plans to attack them but as the image was funneled to the Voidknight from a nearby Gargoyle he watches as the Deathshead create a circle to form a sphere of Void energy they drive against the ground before kicked up moondust surrounds and obscures them. Sensors in the tunnels below detect violent tremors as they seem to be attempting a new form of drilling. The three Void Disciples standing guard over the Temple itself send a mental reassurance to the Voidknight that they would hold the line as long as they could.

Beams of violent energy lance out, the Void Terrors dancing out of the way of the Deathshead rapidly approaching him and his pair of apprentices, but still he could sense 13 Ascendant Blade within the quiet Voidship. His anger flares, but he keeps it under check as he begins leading his Disciples in a warchant of the Black Flame, their voices joining his despite the distance.

>Several Deathshead Guardians have landed upon the moon in a renewed attempt to reach the Void Temple
>Voidknight Jareth received a challenged from 13 Ascendant Blade, stating that their apprentices should battle against each other.
>>
>>2047970
Is Gral sleeping in the temple or is he stowed away on Lorguls ship?
>>
>>2047997
Gral is currently on Kanda in the B'Nan system. They've been helping with constructing a new, larger Void Temple there to commemorate the Voidknights victory over the Empire there. Could say he is with the fleet en route from there. The fleet is commanded by more of the Disciples while Lorgul stays behind in B'Nan to ensure the Empire doesn't try taking it back if they left.

>>2047771
Yeah sorry about that, got distracted with a headache that nearly went full migraine
>>
>>2047970
I think we might wrap up the thread here. We'll be picking up the quest with a new thread on Saturday hopefully at the normal time with a new "day". By then the fleets from Bastion and B'Nan should be arriving.

Despite all my nonsense and delays, I hope folks are still having fun with the quest. I still have fun writing it.
>>
>>2048031
Nah leave him to his building blocks among the ruins. I find making the war machines having a direct hand in rebuilding gives them a better respect for what we are working towards
>>
>>2047970
This guy wants to talk about honorable combat after stabbing us in the back while the ink on a truce was hardly dry?

If he really wanted to be fair he'd have issue a challenge *before* invading, so both sides could put forth their actual best apprentices/undead. This is bullshit. We don't have to play by his rules, because he already violated the rules he had agreed to.
>>
>>2048090
Always enjoy the threads!

On an unrelated note, I cant wait to see what kind of C-Grade necrotic bullshit the Confederacy scientists will cook up. The best they could do were mostly mechanical anyway.
