Alex Davidson is on the run after police raided the warehouse he was using to store the otherworldly booty he was stockpiling from the use of his power to call for tribute from games he'd beaten. Though he decided to come clean with the Knight, another gifted whose power is linked to tabletop campaigns, his status as hero or villain begins to lean toward the latter after he transforms several police officers into thralls under his control. Despite that, the Knight and Gamer join forces against the Watcher, a gifted who so far has demonstrated the ability to summon movie monsters, and has a grudge against our protagonist.

Currently, Alex is regrouping in a motel room after the loss of his mansion to the Watcher and his warehouse to the feds.

Tribute Dominions 3: The Awakening for the gate stone.
>>
>>2065741
Ah, I forgot to mention.

>Tributes: 0/4.

Those in the OP were the last tributes for the day. You just have 2 Emus left for the day. Apologies.
>>
>>2065752
Do we know how to use the apple of Eden? Also what are we wearing now?
>>
>>2065715

>A withered heart

FUUUCK. Pick it up. If nothing happens after a moment, consult with the Skull Mentor.
>>
>>2065769
An excellent question. You have no idea how the apple works. You only know that you have it.

You are wearing street clothes right now, a T-shirt and jeans. Unfortunately the snazzy new wardrobe you spent time picking out was lost with your mansion when the Watcher attacked.
>>
>>2065787
Should have asked for the arrow desu.

>>2065789
Go buy a Ray-Ben glasses and a trenchcoat.
>>
>>2065792

I couldn't confirm that the arrow appeared in the game.
>>
>>2065792
You take a brief shopping trip to buy some nice shades and a black trenchcoat. For some reason putting on the trenchcoat gives you an unexplained urge to buy a fedora as well, but you resist.

>>
>>2065811
Oh well, get the fedora as well. Wear the carnal armor under our trenchcoat.
>>
>>2065818
You give in to your neckbeardy urges and buy a fedora as well.

The Mentor examines the heart after nothing happens for a while.

"There is a great power lying dormant within the heart... it seems to be reacting to your power naturally. Keep it close and it should awaken within a few days."
>>
>>2065811

Horadric cube the following:

Longfall boots + Quick boots
Novafire cape + Jetpack
Omni-tool + Super Phone + universal charger
Mushroom + Maxim Tomato
Spectre grad pistol + Disintegration gun

Have Skull Mentor begin studying apple of eden.
>>
>>2065846
>>2065850

Scratch having the mentor study the apple, ask for help contacting masakado's shadow.
>>
>>2065850
The Tool, Phone, and Charger meld together to give you something that looks similar to a PipBoy3000, but combines the functions of the Omni-Tool and Superphone. Apparently the charger supplies the extra power.

The Mushroom and Tomato give you a pure red mushroom with an M on it.

>>2065860
"I know of some summoning spells or scrying spells I could attempt to teach you, but it would take some time."
>>
Rolled 10 (1d100)

>>2065850

We don't have the charger as I pointed out earlier, we must search for a new fortress.

Rolling for odds of remembering thralls and passing that on to bird with our burner number.
>>
>>2065881

Are we talking days, or hours?

If its days, we may have a good reason to wait out for our heart to activate.

Unless someone thinks they have a good emulation to hasten up our education?
>>
>>2065884

Yup. Definite bird brain, scratch that but I need location listings.

And once more our omni was confiscated unless we're getting a Mulligan
>>
>>2065884

What you said that we didn't have the omni-tool. Which we do.

More importantly, the bird isn't going to be able to recognize thralls, and will completely ruin our ability to contact them if it fucks up.
>>
>>2065888

No it wasn't, our omni tool was never confiscated.
>>
>>2065890

You need to go reread last thread then. Omni was lost to raid
>>
Just use our shaper charge to make the bird smarter then.
We need to get our shit back and plug whatever outed us, at least out of vengeance

>You no longer have the treasure tributed to you from Fable, Bahamut Lagoon, or really anything that just gave you a pile of gold and such. You managed to grab your cash and the diamonds, though.

We didn't lose the omnitool though we did lose the charger. Wondering how we managed to merge our charger to our other stuff if that's the case.
>>
>>2065895
The Charger was lost, not the Omni, so instead of the Pipboy like device you get an Omni with the superphone's programs in it.
>>

So do we know how to use the Neuralyzer? If not start learning how to use it.
>>
>>2065905

OK I can live with that. Will shaping the bird further enable to know who's who? He has bird eyes so maybe he can see our "aura" coming off the thralls?

We have a lot of shit to do and need a place to do it.

My bad, second time today: no charger have omni.
>>
>>2065896

WE can't recognize thralls, how the fuck is the bird going to, even with our shaping? Also, there is no point in finding out who outed us anyway, because they are either an enemy we already have, or the mafia don. If it is the don, he has already done all the damage he could have done.

>>2065905
What about the other fusions?

Also, time to learn scry/summon?
>>
>>2065906

K. Stfu I acknowledged my mistake
>>
>>2065919

How the fuck do you know? We changed them into slaves and didn't so much as get a glimpse of a face, badge number, blood type or nothing huh
>>
>>2065933

> We changed them into slaves and didn't so much as get a glimpse of a face, badge number, blood type or nothing huh

Pretty much, yeah. Do you not remember how much of a rush we were in to get as many people as possible under our sway?

Most of that (including the face because flying) would be useless for a bird to recognize anyway.
>>
>>2065916
You have a basic idea how to use it. You hit the button, point it towards the people you want to brainfry. You know there's a timer aspect, so you might have to do a little monkeying around before you nail down the finer details.

>>2065917
You can Shape the bird further, but there's no guarantee if you can give it such an advanced ability at this stage.

>>2065919
The other fusions had no effect.

Do you want to learn a scrying spell that might track the demon or something that might summon it? The first is a bit simpler, it'll take a week. The second is more complex, week and a half.
>>
>>2065945
Ok play with Neuralyzer first while wearing our sunglasses then.
>>
>>2065945
Hack the cops and check the news.
>>
>>2065941

You make my face hurt with your negativity.

>>2065945

Well need the shadow to handle snitch ass mobsters and probably some other shit.

Wait...where is our security footage? I doubt the police killed our security system superphone that shit and see who we touched, blur or no blur
>>
>>2065945

Go for the summoning training.

You guys want to emulate and make this faster, or do you want to do this one legit? I'm all for emulating this shit.

>>2065953
I'm going to need to know more than "hack the cops".

You decide to experimentally fire the Neuralyzer, putting on your Ray-Bans, pointing the thing at a wall, and hitting the button. There's a bright flash and...

"Alex, what the hell are you doing?" you hear as you get violently shook. You blink groggily, disoriented and weak. It's night now. The other Alex, the Knight is now in front of you, his hands on your shoulders, shaking you. The Neuralyzer falls from your hand.

"Where the hell did you come from?" you mutters, blinking. "I was just about to test out this Neuralyzer I got..."

"What are you talking about? You've been staring at the wall, turning that thing on and on and on since I got here!" Alex exclaims.

"That can't be, I've got my Ray-Bans on..." you say. Alex gives you a look.

"Are they Ray-Ban sunglasses made by an alien race under sanction of the MIB to protect against harmful electronic neural impulses?" he asks.

"...no, I got them from the America Vision in the mall," you say. "...anyway, what are you doing here?"

"I came to check up on you when you didn't answer your phone for the fifth time I rang, with all that's happening I thought something was up. Guess I was right," Alex nods. You blink again, noticing something behind him.

"What the hell is that? Why'd you spraypaint my motel room?" you shout, anger coloring your voice. Alex shrugs.

"Don't look at me man, that was here when I got here."

On the wall behind Alex is spray-painted the following message:
"GAMER, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" A list of names is spray painted on the rest of the wall.
>>
>>2065971
Look at the names
>>
>>2065971

Okay. Totally creepy

>1: How did he find us?
>2: Do we not be a normie and engage security locks
>3: Wtf

>4: Motherfucking bird how longs he REALLY been in here?

Our security is bullshit
>>
>>2065978
You don't recognize any of the names.
>>
>>2065983
Ask the other Alex if he knows it.
>>
>>2065971

The Quester, I guess? He is the only one who wouldn't take advantage of our weakness who I can think of.

If its the quester, they may be names of gifted, or otherwise, our thralls.

Rub our head, and ask Alex what is up otherwise.
>>
>>2065988

....wow. Dude how did he know where we were? Is this not clicking guys/girls?
>>
>>2065988
"You got me man, I thought you would know them."

>>2066007
"Apparently there was some sort of huge incident at a warehouse on the city edge. I went to check it out, but I guess I was too late. Everything was being packed up and there were signs of struggle everywhere, but nothing going on otherwise." He frowns. "I had to beat a hasty retreat, though. There were some dudes in tactical get up that were definitely not normal cops prowling around the place. I have no idea how they managed it, but I think two of them saw me despite being invisible. I got the hell out of there when they started doing all these crazy hand signals to each other."
>>
>>2066014

Probably a similar way to how he tracked the Watcher before. Some sort of scry effect.

>>2065971
Ask Alex if he can summon a demon, now that I think of it.
>>
>>2066026
"I can..." Alex blinks. "Why on Earth would I want to, though? There's plenty of stuff to summon that WON'T try to steal my soul."
>>
>>2066026

Lol. But he burned up his scrys to find the watcher? If he luckily got another fine, but who knows how much day was lost.

He shouldn't know where we are
>>
>>2066025

You know I am normally against giving out information, but it looks like Alex is going to figure out eventually anyway.

Give Alex the story of what happened with the warehouse. Leave out that we enthralled some of the officers, and that they got gunned down by our sentry gun.
>>
>>2066030

"I summoned a relatively more friendly one, but it wasn't bound to me, so it immediately left the area. I can hold it now, but I need to make contact so I can contract him."

"As for souls, I got a Soul of Quelaag that will probably interest him more than either of our souls"

>>2066032
"Btw, how did you find me? I though you used up your scry."
>>
>>2066037
>>2066030

Make certain we learn how the demon summoning program works before we have Alex summon Masakado's Shadow.
>>
>>2065971
Google the list of names see what comes up

>>2066025
Two guys were able to see you while invisible? This must be the work of another gifted.
>>
>>2066034
Confirm?

>>2066037
"I'll need to review my spells to find one that can summon a specific demon... Probably have to dig up a White Wolf sheet, maybe Mage or Demon would have something like that. It'll be tricky to find something that's not a waste," Alex says, rubbing his chin.

"Also, how did you find me? I thought you used up your scry?" you ask. Alex grins.

"I used up that specific scry. I don't have too much that can scry on someone who I've never met, never seen, and don't even have a good physical description of... but someone I've met and know the name of? I've got a thing or two for that," Alex wags a finger, speaking like a professor. "You see, scrying is all about how much you already know about the target. The more you know, the easier it is. You come to me telling me to scry on this guy that sent other guys to attack you? Really hard. I want to check in on my buddy? Not so hard."

"You sound like the magic skull," you groan. Alex's eyes shine.

"That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me!"

>>2066059
You use your OmniTool to google the names. All police officers.

"I hope not," Alex winces at your suggestion. "We've got our hands full with the Watcher right now."
>>
Sounds like the quester alright.

>>2066075

>Confirm?

I mean, we already told him that we were raided, right?

>"I hope not," Alex winces at your suggestion. "We've got our hands full with the Watcher right now."

"I mean, there was that task force durango, maybe the government is working on countermeasures?"

Get the skull mentor started on studying the Apple.
>>
>>2066087
I think its the priest, it was mentioned that he was being led. Led by the government maybe?
>>
>>2066087
"I guess? But how would they manage that?"

>>2066034
"Ah geez man, I wish you would've told me, I would've tried to swipe some of the stuff they were packing up at the site. Oh well. It's just stuff, at least no one got hurt, right?"
>>
>>2066114

"I had some dangerous stuff there, so its not impossible."

"More importantly, it kind of seemed to me like they were being a little overly cloak and dagger with the whole thing. I'm pretty sure it didn't even make the news. I'm worried that the alphabet soup organizations may be involved."
>>
>>2066129
"I'm just surprised they didn't get in on this sooner with shit like Harmont."

>Quest Paused.

The usual time tomorrow. Thanks for playing!
>>
>>2066132
Who knows what they are up to next. Well do let me know, if you manage to find a way to contact a specific demon without being it being a waste. It's getting late, I will need to rest my eyes after my recent misadventure.

>>2066075
Try contacting one of the cops. I am sure at least one of them is dumb enough to put up his contact info on Facebook of something.

Contact only when Alex leaves.
>>
>>2066132

Once Alex leaves, state aloud "Gee, it sure would be convenient if I could meet with the Quester right about now."
>>
>>2065971
>GAMER, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!
I can't help but imagine the Quester sitting behind us with some anti-mind-control buff active just watching us with an ever growing look of mixed rage, confusion, and disbelief. Like watching a trainwreck, but it is YOUR train that you paid good money for being wrecked, and also that train isn't even supposed to be on this side of the country at the moment. Just a mixture of anger and wtf until out of desperation he angrily scrawls a message on the wall behind us hoping we eventually come to our senses or pass out from exhaustion long enough to turn around and read it.
>>
>>2066170
"Roger that," Alex nods, taking his leave.

You manage to find a few of the cops on Facebook. What exactly do you want to ask them?
>>
>>2066176
>>2067809

So did my attempt to summon the Quester fail?

Ask one of the cops to get on a cam chat client. Once we have him there, ask him to slap himself in the face exactly 37 times.
>>
>>2067809
ask if he remembers us and then if he proves to be one of our thralls then ask him everything about why our place got targeted and who is in charge.

>>2067830
if someone sees him do that, lots of questions are gonna be raised, christ.
>>
>>2067830
Unfortunately yes, your attempt failed.

You manage to set up a meeting between yourself and one of the cops. When the feed goes live, his face immediately takes on an expression of awe and reverence.

"Master..." he whispers.

"That's me," you say. "Hey slap yourself in the face thirty seven times."

"Thy will be done," the policeman whispers, slapping his face again, again, and again...with increasing force each time. The bruises appear shortly, then swell, one of the final slaps actually breaking the puffy skin and bleeding. When the thirty seventh slap is done, the cop looks into the camera with an overjoyed smile made grotesque by his damaged face. "Did I do well, master?"
>>
>>2067830
Mite extreme.

>>2067842
This seems about right.

>>2067853
Ouch, yeah, bit extreme. Should make sure he's alone, then inquiry as per >>2067842
>>
>>2067853

"Yes you did well"

"How went my previous instructions?"
>>
>>2067853
Yes. So where are you now? At work or at home? Give me your phone number.
>>
>>2067842
>>2067864

I wanted to be sure that we were talking to one of ours, and not somebody pretending to be one of ours.
>>
>>2067872
understandable but try and be more carefull, we've gotten fucked over for thoughtless actions before like raining diamonds out of nowhere and summoning tanks with our name on them.
>>
>>2067842
"Of course I remember you, master! You are the master, the one whom the world belongs to..." he whispers in awe. "The department was instructed to investigate the warehouse by the chief himself, acting in coordination with Task Force Durango. At first it was just a routine check, we sent Jenkins and Hockstead to knock around and try to contact the owner. No one was around..." the cop squirms a little. "...the chief gave us a direct order to breach the warehouse and investigate. Some sort of gun spun up and tore Jenkins and Hockstead apart when they busted down the door. Before they died, they radioed it in. SWAT came in, paired with some of the Durango boys. They took the defenses apart. Rest of us stormed in, found some crazy hunchback, took him into custody. We started to catalog and move everything. Then..." his eyes shine fervently. "...then you appeared and showed us the way, mighty lord..."
>>
>>2067868
"I'm at home with my wife and kids..." the man's eyes suddenly shine with a new thought. "Shall I bring them to you master? You can take them into your service as well, show them the light and the way..."
>>
>>2067887
So you know where our stuff is kept? Where did you take the hunchback in custody?

>>2067896
Nah. You will carry on with your lives like before until I have need of you but you will notify me when you uncover any new info related to the gifted or task force Durango. Get the rest of the "enlightened" to contact me when possible.
*Gives burner phone number*
>>
>>2067896

"I'm afraid that I must forbid you from bringing your family into my presence."

"In fact, none but those that I showed the way to that day may know of our meeting."

"Pray tell, the instructions I gave all of you that day, how have they gone? Have you managed to stymie the investigation?"
>>
>>2067914
>You will carry on with your lives like before until I have need of you but you will notify me when you uncover any new info related to the gifted or task force Durango. Get the rest of the "enlightened" to contact me when possible.

>>
>>2067887
ask for more information on durango.
Names and location.
Check with him that all our items are checked in.
See if anything has been kept or looted by durango or the police force.
Ask if he has a way to discredit or have the police chief fired for breaking into our home, shits illegal yo.
>>
>>2067896

Chief's on the take.

"The hunchback must be released as soon as possible, there were also two cats that are very dear to me. I need them returned as well."

"Actually you go retrieve the cats"

We still need to find a hideout when time allows
>>
>>2067986
Wouldn't this make it obvious that he is a sleeper agent. Let them stay there for a while till we find a way to bust them out.
>>
>>2067914
"Durango took your things and your minion, my lord. We do not know where they took them."

>>2067917
The cop winces, as if expecting a blow. "No... no, I am sorry, they have put us all on leave after Reynolds was caught tampering with his camera footage. I think we all might be under investigation ourselves."

>>2067928
"Of course, my lord."

>>2067933
"It will take time, but I can rally my new brothers and expose the chief to the media, claim he's using Durango as a front to extort money."

He looks down.

"I know nothing of Durango itself, save that their director is a tall, thin man with black hair and he is never without his advisor, a young woman that must be fresh out of the academy."
>>
>>2067995

Igor or the cats?

I doubt they put our cats in a cell that probably in a shelter. I don't see why that'd raise a red flag.

Igor can "escape" while they transport him also no red flag
>>
>>2067998
Nevermind do not so anything that would further expose yourself and make you even more suspicious. Do you have the chief's home address? I may pay him a friendly home visit myself.
>>
>>2067998
ask about the advisory.
describe supergirl to him, see if they match.
Ask him to try and tie him to the don as well while we're at it if he can do it without any holes in the idea.

ask if he knows where they're staying, hotels or whatever.

Also, yeah the springing igor and cats thing is stupid, even if durango didn't have them in custody.
>>
>>2067998

Well that answers that. Fucking mobster's

"Hmm. You might be on leave but I'm sure there's someone you trust wholeheartedly in your department right? Here is something you can answer: where is Guilliani being held? Did he post bail?"
>>
>>2067995

Have him get contact information to us for the other that we have enlightened, and then to go back to his normal life until we have need of him again.

Also, have him fix up his face as best he can, and come up with an excuse for in case anyone asks about it.

>>2068038
Where did you get mobsters from that post? Far as I can tell, they aren't mentioned anywhere.

The bird notes nothing unusual, but the skull reports the Apple appears to be nonmagical.

>>2068455
It takes the rest of the day to drive out and get a different hotel room. You estimate you were in your motel room neuralyzing yourself for at least 6 hours.

>Day 35 ends
>Day 36 begins.

When you wake up, "Meet me in the crater" is spray painted on the ceiling.
>>
>>2068427
>>2068474

Hey guys, crazy idea. What if we stay in the hotel room until the saint's heart activates? Probably get a fucking stand, and even if we don't, whatever we get is guaranteed to be awesome.
>>
>>2068520
Nah, it'll activate eventually.

>>2068519
Ugh, he must have remote spray paint abilities. That, or he just likes making life hard.

Don't want to fly anywhere. Let's drive to Harmont.
>>
>>2068519

>"Meet me in the crater" is spray painted on the ceiling.

Huh, maybe my attempt to summon him wasn't as much of a failure as I thought?

Look up how to remove spray paint on google, and do whatever it says to do.

Also, start getting things together to go meet the Quester over in Harmont.
>>
do we have the skull or is it still with alex?
asking him if he could teach us a teleport spell would be nifty
>>
>>2068519
Go to a hardware store and ask for some paint stripper/remover and some new paint and brushed.

Also tribute this >>2065741
>>
>>2068550
Probably would take a few days at least.
>>
>>2068519

Tribute Kirby Super Star (I think that is the one we haven't tributed yet) and ask for a Copy Essence Deluxe of the ability "Copy".
>>
>>2068519
I also want to say we add Metal Fatigue to games that we have conquered.

It is a giant robot/war RTS taking place with alien technology and recombinable giant robots created using a basis of Hedoth alien technology. The three characters are three brothers that eventually rise up and become extremely powerful leaders in three corporate micronations because they are known for their extreme combat prowess. Basically beating the game means you made them the leader of one of the biggest economic powerhouses in the galaxy and helped them get ahold of ancient alien weapons tech. Also it did not have a population cap that I remember and the Combots can run almost indefinitely off their own power source and are light enough they dont break through the ground with their steps due to space age design. Energy and materials are harvested from lava pits too and it would not be unusual to field a group of 5-20 combots for a single map at a single time, not counting casualties.

Basically what I am saying is, we take this as a game in our catalogue of possible tributes and then when the time comes we have someone with nearly unlimited resources that owes us a free giant robot that would put our Madcat to shame, also would probably get the implants to pilot it too for free so no training. Only negative side, the combots are usually piloted in teams of 3 but can be piloted by a single pilot with some sill, also only takes a short amount of time to train a pilot squad so it cant be too tough to learn.

Just for the love of God do not tribute this monstrosity for no reason because depending on the brother they may very well load it up with Hedoth weapon tech, which means most things short of the REALLY op Gundams will get a hole melted in them or a limb ripped off depending on the weapons. I would take this option over a Gundam game because the likelihood of one of the Gundam pilots dropping us their super-gundam is almost zero, but Combots can be mass produced, it would be like a CEO gifting you a really nice car for putting him on top.Guaranteed giant robo or atleast a tank or squad of autonomous fighter jets if not all 3.
>>
>>2068649
Oh, also to shore up one hole in my proposal, Combots (the previously stated recombinable giant robots) do not run directly off the lava/energy grid, they and other vehicles can continue operations long after all energy sources are lost. In the case of purely Ancient Hedoth combots this can mean they stay automated and active for thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years at a time without a recharge.
>>
>>2068649

You DO realize that we can ask for whatever we want from our tributes now, right? The only thing that can stop us from getting whatever the fuck we want is QM fiat.
>>
>>2068550
It's still with you.

>>2068552
It takes a while, but you manage to remove the paint.

>>2068573
>>2065741
>Kirby Super Star tributed.
>Dominions 3 tributed.

Deluxe Copy Essence gained.
Gate Stone gained.
>>
>>2068664
Cool, ask the skull mentor about it functions and how to use the gate stone. Shouldn't take too long since non-mages were able to use it as well.

Do guys want to bring Alex as well?
>>
>>2068663
Oh...oh my....
You do realize then that if we pop Metal Fatigue, we dont just have a single mobile suit pilot giving us his single suit.

We can ask for an entire squadron of top of the line combots since it would not be unreasonable to ask for 5-20 for an engagement and like I said mass produced. Just a matter of how to deploy them. I am not saying it is the ultimate choice, but it is a good utility choice to keep in mind in case The Watcher pulls a Kaiju out of his ass.

"Haha now you face Godzilla!"

>Squadron of Rimtech death bots deploy laser swords/Hedoth Claws/Anti-future-tank ballistic missle arms/missile legs/missiletorsos/kinetic shields/Hedoth Pulse Arm weaponry
>Godzilla reduced to paste and Combots walk around making angry robot noises
Also sidenote, Combots are surprisingly good at avoiding collateral building damage, so just tossing that in there (although that was more a limit of game tech at the time).
>>
>>2068683

Do not take Alex to the crater. Let's hear from the Quester alone. Not only did the Quester not seem particularly eager to meet with multiple people last time, but he also may share things we don't particularly want shared.

>>2068664

Touch the Deluxe Copy Essence.
>>
>>2068683
Might as well bring Alex, extra muscle can't hurt and we dont want him being vulnerable to Watcher while we are away.

Also double check with skull-mentor to see if he can tell if Alex is possessed.

I just have a bad feeling Watcher might try to go for him if he couldn't us, but I feel like the Knight would be a more resistant target.
>>
>>2068683
fuck no!
>>
>>2068664
Also, like I said even though I want to add Metal Fatigue to the list of games we have conquered, dont want to tribute yet.

If we don't have space for it on our list of 300 already beaten games it is going to be a bitch to get because the free version has no cutscenes thusly no emotional attachment to the brothers struggles and because of how bad the marketing was it is almost impossible to get a physical copy.
>>
>>2068683
The Skull Mentor is able to teach you how to use the stone in short order.

If we're by ourselves

>Tribute tier 4: T2: The Arcade Game. Definitely aim for our own Arnie, as T800s love nothing more then fucking cops up
>>
>>2068725
Apparently nothing. You absorb the essence and gain the ability to copy an ability from an enemy you target. It's important to note that the ability will be completely random, you can't pick what you end up with.
>>
>>2068757

Excellent. For some practice, try copying our Charizard, then dropping whatever we copied to go back into the Copy ability.
>>
>>2068687
Tribute Men in Black: The Game.

Ask for their special sunglasses that protects against harmful neural impulses.
>>
>>2068782
You breathe out a stream of flame. It's pretty cool.

>>2068740
You're not exactly sure what happened, but when you tribute this, a deactivated, damaged T-800 collapses in front of you. Odd.

Figure it might give us a chance against a Shrike too if it comes down to it. Although I am not familiar with Shrike in depth.
>>
>>2068795

Lovely.

>Emulate. Hmm. Dr. Wily? A resistance researcher, holy shit there's like a million ways to do this.

>>
>>2068809

>>2068859

Now, just so I fully understand, we ARE able to switch out whatever we have copied to back into the ability "copy" right?
>>
>>2068918
You knew enough to reprogram it too, awwww...

It takes the entire day and several trips to several stores, but you manage to repair the robot and have a loyal T-800 minion by the end of things.

>Lose 100,000 dollars for parts.
>Gain T-800.
You have one Emulation left. Use it or go to bed?
>>
>>2068927
Yes.
>>
>>2068931

Emulate Assassin's Creed III, use that to learn how to control and use the Apple. Write/type things about controlling it and how to operate its functions down while we are still in emulation so that we can peruse the notes later.
>>
>>2068931

>Emulate. Well hell something for a new spell. Flare, Ultima, Holy?
>>
>>2068948
You do this... but even after following the notes' instructions the apple doesn't work as intended. It's strange, but it seems like something is missing.

>>2069059
You sleep in your motel with a half torn up Arnold clone standing guard.

When you dream, you see the Quester, alone, sitting in a chair in a dark room. He looks nervously from side to side.

"OK, so Smiley keeps us all from messing with each other's dreams if you couldn't tell. Too long to explain why, why, why. Gotta go fast. Can't stay hidden long. Meet me in the crater, OK? World's still weak there, I can slip through. Smiley doesn't like me anymore. Can't just go wherever I please. Just one thing real fast. Anything you dream, it's something he's letting happen, unless it's someone like me sneaking in or breaking through or... oh. Oh shit! Crater! Cratertime! Gotta go!"

The room is gone in an instant, replaced by a soft blue glow. You see the strange amulet you got from tributing Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

"My master bids us speak, human. The thing outside is watching here. No more words lest it be in person."

Then you wake up.

>Day 36 ends.
>Day 37 begins.
>>
>>2069109
Yeah, i forgot what the strange amulet does, ask the skull about it.
>>
>>2069109

Ok, time to go to Harmont. Go go go now.
>>
>>2068347
>news
Completely forgot this one.

You watch the news over breakfast. Things get extremely strange when the anchors begin an outright brawl with the talk show slated to appear after them... then even stranger as the news crews from other channels break into the studio and attack, live. The camera feed is only cut when security reaches the cameraman.

Going to a less volatile network, it seems the happenings in Harmont and North Korea have been completely eclipsed by news of the spreading Green Death. International travel and trade has slowed to a crawl as most countries are now either closing their borders or imposing strict controls. With everything that's been happening with you, you haven't noticed, but FEMA has opened camps across the country and is trying to shepherd infected persons there to control the outbreak. Nearly every major city now has a CDC quarantine center running there, with ambulances an increasingly common sight in the streets. The outbreak has reached epidemic status.

Doomsday cults are beginning to pop up across not only the nation, but the world. The most notable of these is the Cult of Kek, a growing group that claims the Green Death is the touch of the ancient Egyptian god associated with primordial chaos. They claim the frog god is returning to swallow the world whole, and there is nothing left to do but laugh as it burns and chant his name.

Ordinarily this would be laughed off were it not for one very concerning statistic.

Members of the Cult of Kek do not seem to contract the disease.
>>
>>2069137

Also, someone explain what the gate stone does. If it can get us to Harmont crater, use it.
>>
>>2069113
You dangle the amulet in front of the skull.

"Ah, well familiar am I with this sort of work. A shade is bound to this amulet in much the same way my spirit is bound to my skull. I suspect it's listening to us even now, waiting for you to address it before it reveals itself."

>Quest paused<
And that's it for that. Quest will resume Wednesday. There might be a sporadic post or two tomorrow though.

>>
>>2069160

Yes it is a very convenient item to have. I have a couple of points I will address tomorrow in anticipation of resumption.

Our very own T800. Couldn't we shape life to give it its human appearance?
>>
>>2068740
Holy cow. T2: The Arcade Game is best Terminator timeline.
Spends most of the game destroying Skynet's forces, then destroys Skynet, then goes back and joins the raid to destroy Cyberdyne and can do enough damage to actually stop their research. Also fight a thousand more people, who knew Cyberdyne had researcher commandos.. and I'm not sure why the steel mill has hostile welder mask commandos rappelling in, but ok. Judging from how the cops all continue to twitch and hold at their legs once defeated, that T-800 is the master of shooting hundreds of dudes in the leg without hitting a major artery. Science assassins and welder strike force guys don't seem to get as kind of treatment though.
I'm not sure if it was made clear what the basic weapon was, but the regenerating "gunpower" was great for not running out of ammo for it.

>>2069223
Medigel would probably do wonders for the organic portions, though we might want to look into a means to gain more medical knowledge in general what with shaping and plagues and whatnot.
>>
>>2069201
Also equip the bubble artifact, don't want to die from radiation there.
>>
>>2069655

Don't worry too much. Refresh clears radiation poisoning.

>>2069139

So guys, when are we planning to cure the green death? Quarantine tribute apparently didn't do shit, so we should probably get back to the original plan of shaping a single celled organism that eats whatever causes the green death.

>>2068795
How did the stream of flame compare to our flametongue spell?
>>
>>2069698
Yeah but Refresh can use up Mana, Bubble recovers radiation poisoning faster than it can be inflicted in almost all situations save for teabagging a live reactor core. So it will just make our lives easier and give us more options in case of combat.

Remember anon, our actions have consequences in this quest, walking into an ambush whether Quester is setting it up or someone is watching him, after using all our mana to prevent rad poisoning when we have an artifact that makes us immune to it simply by keeping it in our pocket is a pretty bad decision.

Remember this is a QM that literally just twirled his moustache dastardly at us and said "Oh good you remembered to reprogram the terminator before bringing it back online after spending so much to repair it." Just assume that your actions will be carried out as written with no assumptions, so if we forget to Refresh ourselves after a few hours or in some areas closer to the crater, minutes, we could die or be irrepperably damaged by radiation poisoning.
>>
>>2069698
Your spell is better if for no other reason than it gets boosted by your magic items and the breath does not.

>>2069724
I didn't TWIRL my mustache... I TWISTED it! All the difference in the world!
>>
>>2068832
Yes, I added it.
>>
>>2069937

What would have happened if we had crit failed the deluxe copy essence roll?

When you say what ability we copy is random, does that mean if we copy the same person multiple times, we could get a different ability each time?
>>
>>2069914

You could've just fondled it, and not cursed our rolls ever more.

>>2069223

A few "cool" points to our T800 acquisition

>Allows for use of ALL civilian vehicles, aircraft. Fuck yeah
>Can hack (I'm assuming from research) any and all encrypted devices/research/technology of our day and age (Oh my kingdom for our Sentry), could POTENTIALLY hack Task Force Durango.
>Can accomplish medial tasks while we tend to more important things
>Is far more resistant to electrical discharge (movie)
>Expert in infiltration, espionage
>Its a Terminator

Everybody might piss their pants but I'd suggest giving him the Digital Inventory and an outload of weapons.

BTW: Apparently all T800 models feature 2 to 3 auxiliary power reserves.

Actually when we're back on please take 30 minutes of our day and have the T800 look at our tech stuff (space guns, any high technology). I bet it can repair our BL shield.

>I've never believed we might make it to a hundred days til yesterday.

More in a bit
>>
>>2070429

>cont.

>T800s can create/fix modify modern weapons

But enough about him.

>The Green Death has to go as apparently humanity is to stupid to save itself and needs our help.

My suggestion would be a tier 4 tribute to another Quarantine. With express purpose of shaping life so that when we exhaled the "cure" (carbon dioxide floats to the atmosphere) hits the jet stream/prevailing winds and we beat it in a day or two WORLDWIDE. Because if I can breathe some 2000 year old ancestors air that's feasible too.

>A warning you will not heed

I highly doubt most anybody besides my autistic ass checks the pastebin. Well that's just fucking lazy of you.

>Games Tributes 142
>GAME LIST 222/300

That's 78 games left to emu/tribe before a 100 days divided by 4 per day. What I'm saying is tribute games already on the list (tier 4 it) and don't add another game til day 50.

>Have the feds seized our online accounts?
>No mention of BFGing down a building?

Still a bit more to come
>>
>>2070536

Its actually divided by 6 a day, our emulations permanently tap games too.

I check the pastebin fairly often so I at least know what tools we have available to us at any given moment, but I cannot find any reference to a "warning [we] will not heed".

What exactly are you planning to ask for from the other quarantine game? If it isn't a miracle cure, I don't know how it is supposed to help.

If it IS a miracle cure, then what I suggest is asking for it, then tributing pandemic 1/plague inc. and asking for ITS miracle cure and then shaping a single celled organism that secretes both miracle cures (or a single combined super miracle cure) and can live in most environments in the body without causing harm. And of course, it would need to be highly communicable. Maybe Emulate a couple of games with medical knowledge so we have a better idea of what we are doing.
>>
>>2070536

>A treatise on shaping life/allies:

I suppose the obvious question here is: why the fuck did nobody think to shape our own phsycality/strength to levels on par with wielding the Flak Cannon? If it weren't for the Green Death I'd ask why we don't have more minions.

>Speaking of which

These thralled cops are only so valuable since their under the microscope

>Which leads me to believe

I can't really speak for the sly devil of an OP but I'd like to think he meant for us to have a small army by now just by increasing our tribs per day. Some of this shit needs to be equipped by other people/things otherwise its worthless. We are only one man after all.

>And in conclusion

The T800 is the technology side of our coin, so what's the magic side? My suggestion is to go into the wild someplace nice and alone-like and shape life us up a golem. This shouldn't take up to much time and infused with magic and given some items could really be helpful. Many games feature a golem being turned into a human so with shape life and the egg it should be easy mood.

>I wholeheartedly believe Alex is going to become a liability sooner then later. But that's just me
>I'm just going say we need a static location and few days down time after our return to harmont (are we really doing this?)

>That Dirty Bird

Throughout literary history, birds have done some shit, 'kay. What can our bird do? Well he might not be all that without a couple more shapings but what can he do:
-Carry small to midsized objects (like Thermal Detonators)
-Can fly
-Is smart enough to follow simple commands "When you fly over X you push Y button and drop it"
-Able to equip smaller to mid items(?)
-Scouting, reporting back with reconnaissance
-Intelligence gathering (some miniature digi cams whatnot)

>!Harmont Was Staged!
>>
>>2070663

>why the fuck did nobody think to shape our own phsycality/strength to levels on par with wielding the Flak Cannon?

Because shapers can't shape themselves, that is what the geneforge is for.

>>I wholeheartedly believe Alex is going to become a liability sooner then later. But that's just me

Finally! Another sane man.

>after our return to harmont (are we really doing this?)

Yes, absolutely. The Quester has not only proven to be non-hostile, but he also is in possession of extremely valuable meta-knowledge that we have no other way of learning until it is too late.
>>
So where are we gonna build our base? We could go to some remote and inaccessible place like the North pole or Antarctica or maybe even underwater and set up shop there.
>>
>>2071207
A mobile ship seems best.
Something advanced that can stay cloaked from modern tech.
If we get something huge then we need to start cranking out people with our shaping to crew it before we actually summon it.
>>
>>2071406
If that's the case tributing EVE Online for one of its Covert Ops Ships or Black Ops ships if you want someting bigger would be perfect.
>>
>>2070367
You'd have turned into Kirby.

Same ability, it's determined the first time you copy.

>>2070429

You appear in the Harmont crater, your Bubble artifact in place and securely sucking away most of the radiation you're taking. Even then you know enough to know that you probably can't stay too long... the nuclear blast was still very recent, after all.

"Well that took way less time than I thought it would," the Quester says. Nothing heralded his arrival, no flash of light or burst of smoke... just one minute he's there in front of you where he was not before. He spreads his hands and walks around you. "Not sure where to start, no, no, no. Have only a little time, even here. I guess the big question is, ah, a good place to begin?"

In an instant he's grabbing your shoulders, a manic look in the eyes that peer through that unruly mop of blond hair.

"GAMER, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"
>>
>>2074093

"You'll have to be more specific. You didn't give me much to go on in our last conversation, so I have been working on empowering myself and taking down someone who wants me dead."

"Is this related to the Cult of Kek? I know they are worshipping some old god of chaos. Are you saying that I'm creating too much chaos?"

>>2074093

>>
>>2074136

"You know, everyone keeps underestimating you, and then you go and figure something out like that, yes yes YES!." the Quester nods, releasing you and stepping back. "The chaos, man, the chaos... I mean, I'm no fan of the status quo, but look at the shit the Leaf did with his attempts to 'improve' things. And that's someone that wasn't trying to fuck up, when you stop occupying the Watcher's attention and he starts going for his plans in earnest? Wow. Not everything you've done... but some things... some things...."

"You know, you seem an awful lot more coherent not," you note, placidly. The Quester shakes his head.

"Lucidity is chasing a butterfly that you'll crush if you grab it too hard for me," he whispers.

"And there we go again," you note.

"I fucked up real real nice myself too you know, oh yes, yes, but the only one that paid the price was me," the Quester nods vigorously. "The Smiling Man was honest amd lying at the same time."

"How so?" you ask. The Quester fidgets nervously.

"He wants to be amused, yes, true, true. Wants to see what we'll do, yes yes, true, true. But he knows, knows too well what happens when you just... just give power like this to ordinary people who are dominated by a passion. Or... Or maybe he doesn't know, but wants to find out and doesn't care? No.... No, he must know..."

>>2074110
"Yes, yes, good, good, take down the Watcher. Take him down before he takes everything down. Where the Smiling Man an actual man, they would be fast friends, I think."

The Quester nods vigorously. "Shun the god of frogs, shun him, shun him. Whether it is actually the old frog himself or just some thing from Outside wearing his face, who cares? The world is his fly. A spider and a frog crave the same thing."

>>2074128
The Quester gives you a very weird look when you say this.
>>
>>2074161
You could always try tributing one to find out.

>>2074137
The Quester vanishes when you try, reappearing to the side of your Copy beam. He does not look amused.

"I do... I do, I do, I do. Now at least. Maybe... maybe later, I'll let you. If I think you need to. Maybe."

"In that case, since we've answered your question to the best of our ability, what do you need to tell us? I can only assume that if Smiles is displeased with you, it must have something to do with stopping whatever he has planned."
>>
>>2074185

The news is fucked til the Green Death is done! Mass hysteria and all, I probably couldn't get the local weather. Disturbing.
>>
>>2074170

Easy, we roboenza.
>>
>>2074020
Well, if we're looking for something likely to net a spacecraft, I might suggest Star Trek: Starship Creator, the whole thing whole centered on building Federation starships, cramming as much as you could into them, crewing them, and sending them off on missions to test their effectiveness.

>>2074049
Also a fair choice, though the actual Super Robots might be a better choice there. That's a series to keep in our back pocket for an oh-shit moment, or to grab something to study and/or integrate into a larger project.

>>2074164
Alright, yeah, I'm a bit chaotic, but I'd rather not destroy the world or even most of the people on it.
Gotta get some of this shit cleaned up and rather not see Smiley slip a knife into our backs if we start making things too orderly.
I mean, as long as we keep from being too dull, we should be able to get away with saving the world a bit, right?
>>
>>2074185
"Yes... and no? The priest... heh... The Priest, the Priest, he tried too much too fast... Like me, the only one that paid the price was himself. He's gone and here at the same time."

>>2074185
"You HAVE been paying attention!" the Quester's eyes gleam. "Reality... reality getting holes poked into it. What do you think happens everytime you tribute or emulate? You... You take your soul and poke it through this world to another and TAKE, and when you TAKE, you leave that hole behind and move on, and what happens to the hole? It just... stays there, letting who knows what in." the Quester shudders. "I asked the Leaf if he ever read 'The Mist'. For you... You've played Half-Life, right? Well... no, no, no, no, similar, but not QUITE. THINGS can come through, but also... energies? Currents? Impulses that mold and shape things here into things from elsewhere, or don't you remember the Watcher's magic trick with the hotel? There was a building there before, but where did it go?" The Quester shudders. "And... and there are others that haven't smelt our scent but might. Fingers, dancing. Slow time walkers. More, too... too many more."
>>
>>2074214

Fuck all that. Think of "gaming alternatives to our advantage in a given situation." That's fucking brutal
>>
>>2074222

"Is there a way to close the holes we are leaving behind? Do we need to use our power to FIND a way?"

"Are these holes that are left behind related to why the Cult isn't contracting the Green Death?"

"Would it be possible to try to attract the attention of something else, something that might be an enemy of The Smiling Man?"
>>
>>2074222
Ok, so let's avoid tributing things from worlds that super fucked up. No Silent Hill, tell the Knight to avoid Ravenloft and shit.
But what can we do to keep the holes from being an issue.. better yet, how do we close up holes caused by someone else that are making things worse?
You said the barrier is weak here, should we send something back through to balance things, or is this more like anything going across makes the hole worse?

..Shit, that how our powers get stronger through use. We keep weakening the barrier centered on us, so it is easier to draw more powerful forces across..
And you and the Priest drew so much centered on yourselves that it some sort of backlash damaged you in some way, or in the Priest's case something else moved into him?
>>
>>2074222

Tight-roping it

"Whoa. So you're saying every time I tribute my soul disipatates? I totally don't believe that as my heart was mostly there through all of every game I played"

This coming here is a giant mistake unless he gives/tells us something badass. Back to lurking, for now

BTW: your shitty dice rolls won't effect me as my own rolls are equally as shitty and will be forever.

>Strange;

My IP will not stay consistent. I could effectively rig votes. I'm better then that though.
>>
>>2074196
The Quester closes one eye and opens the other, and when he speaks, it's perfectly clear and lucid, with none of his usual strange inflections. "You really shouldn't be hearing those yet, you know. Rather, shouldn't be aware of them. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe it's a lot less than a hundred days."

Then the moment passes.

"ONE HUNDREEED, ONE HUNDREEEEED... One hundred days until so many holes are poked than just about ANYTHING could walk through! One hundred... I don't know what happens, I just know that's when I can't READ anymore!"

>>2074204
"Aheh..." the Quester grins nervously. "I... used my ability... in a way he didn't foresee. And was not amused by.

>>2074221
"I didn't... didn't think of that, no, no..." the Quester pauses and considers. Then he looks up. "But SOME of the stuff you've been doing... The demons... the shadow... The COMP, the DDS acts as a gateway, puts up a bridge, and some people are good at NOTICING that, good at FINDING that... Observation terminals... and you brought one of them HERE!" the Quester begins biting his fingernails. "The Priest did something similar and paid with everything for it... Dragging Masakado's Shadow, now YHVH's gaze falls here, and who knows what else?"

He bites harder. "And souls, man, what did you do!? You... You touched on the power to rewrite reality and you used it to twist souls? That's messed up man! Like, on multiple levels, I gave you those numbers so you could see what you did. The cop offering his family to you, that didn't creep you out at all? I sorta figured you just didn't know what you'd done..."
>>
>>2074263

>He bites harder. "And souls, man, what did you do!? You... You touched on the power to rewrite reality and you used it to twist souls? That's messed up man! Like, on multiple levels, I gave you those numbers so you could see what you did. The cop offering his family to you, that didn't creep you out at all? I sorta figured you just didn't know what you'd done..."

"I did it in a panic. I was expecting to only shift their loyalty, not to entirely change their whole self."

"I am aware after seeing that officer of what I did, but I can't take it back and as of now, I am trying to make the best of a bad situation."
>>
>>2074242
"The Priest summoned something stronger, so much stronger than he was... Now he's little more than clothes, a coat, a hat, shoes that was once a man."

>>2074253
"No, no, no, your soul is still there... though..." the Quester peers oddly at you. "...it's still there, but CHANGING..."

>>2074274
"Can't take it back, of course you can take it back, you've got to have a soul power of some kind in that magic bag of yours," the Quester frowns, crossing his arms. "I can buy the panic thing, though..." he looks from side to side. "...not a single Gifted hasn't done some really terrible thing in a panic after they got their powers, you know. But the consequences vary."

>>2074234
The Quester considers this.
"I don't know... there must be a way to close them if you can open them right? I don't know yet, but I'm looking, looking, have to keep looking..."

He blinks.

"No, the frog god eats the disease before it can touch his pets. They get to... see the show before they go too."

"An enemy of the Smiling Man... Yes, that might work, but how-"

The Quester's form immediately begins to get wavy.

"Oh shit, that got his attention! He's hedging me out, be fast!"
>>
>>2074263

"Dude the cops are ...entirely enthralled to me, unfortunately. What good are six to ten useless cops? They're under a microscopic type of investigation by their own brothers and sisters. What? Are you some tweeked out weirdo too who I can't trust? I need allies...."
>>
>>2074263
What is The smiling man and why does he mess with our dreams?
>>
>>2074300
Alright, we need a cure for those police officers because what we did to them was fucked up.

After that we need to find Smiley's greatest enemy: The Frowning Man.
>>
>>2074317
>>2074300
>>
>>2074300

"What did you do with your power that angered The Smiling Man?"

Emulate Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix video game, more specifically emulate dumbledore.

Tribute Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Video game, ask for the Elder Wand.

"Let me preserve your memories"
>>
>>2074274
This. Messed up situation. Arguably better than killing them to get through, but yeah, the results are a bit scary.

>>2074300
Refresh the Quester. He's had some good insights, hate to see him get strung up now.

>>2074329
If he wouldn't go for Copy, I don't think he'd go for that, and I'd rather see him to survive than fight with him over that.
>>
>>2074329
Don't do the tribute or emulation. Quester wouldn't want it for sure.
>>
>>2074339

If you have a way to save him, I'm all for that. Though I doubt refresh will get us anywhere.
>>
>>2074309
>>2074320
These replies are cancelling each other out.

>>2074317
"Dreams are... connected to him somehow. He's a Thing from Outside. Reality's a game to him."

>>2074329
The Quester grins. "I emulated HIM."

Then the Quester's form explodes into static before you can even get off your tribute. The smile appears shortly afterward, that sharp grin in darkness.

"That's enough out of that one for now, I think. You just go on doing what you're doing. Things are going to turn out like this sooner or later anyway, I'm just giving you and a few others the chance to play around and have fun. You should know, after all. Single-player is nice and all, but sometimes you just want to have that HUMAN element. Forget that mop-head and just go and enjoy yourself. And remember..."

The smile is unable to help grinning broader.

"Do what thou wilt."

Then it's gone.
>>
>>2074350
oshit

tribute the hourglass from prince of Persia and go back in time to redo that conversation
>>
>>2074350
>"That's enough out of that one for now, I think.
Guess he will find a way to come back later.

Gate stone back to our room and give the our skull a new task.

"Find a way to close the holes in reality."

Take out the amulet and ask the shade what can it do?
>>
Umm In our bellief something... you know what fuck the social drama. We aren't giving this asshole a date, time, a FCK you.

"Clearly this has burdened you in a negative capacity. Ok my souls SLIGHTLY tainted if at all, and im sure I can deal with it. Or something. "
>>
>>2074350

Go back to our new hotel room. Send our bird off to the police chief's residence with a message that is for the flying girl. The message should ask for a meeting with just her, with a specified location and time.

Inform her once again in the message that we are not responsible for Harmont, but that we don't care if she believes us, because there is bigger shit going down than that, and we need her help to stop it..

Inform her that we are bringing another gifted along, and that she is encouraged to bring other gifted along, except for the Watcher.

Request that she send an answer back with the bird, but inform her that if the bird comes back with no answer or the bird doesn't return, we will have our answer anyway.
>>
>>2074357

Supporting.

We can do >>2074376 after we try rewinding the conversation.
>>
>>2074357
You know, that's a useful item to have in general. I can support having that.

Though in this event, it appears that the Quester survived and may have some more insights into the Smiling Man when we meet again, so I'd lean against undoing that.
>>
>>2074366
this

>>2074376
Fuck no
>>
>>2074396

I'm sorry, did you think we were going to defeat The Smiling Man all on our own? The being from outside reality that gave us powers in the first place? Not to mention that the powers he gave us are actively fucking reality up the asshole. If you did, you are a fool and need to stop posting in these threads immediately.

Or did you think that the Comic Book tributer who decided to work with the police wouldn't even give a thought to putting aside grudges to save humanity? Also foolish, but not so foolish as to need to stop posting.

>>
>>2074421

That's OK, I don't like your nonexistent ones.
>>
>>2074410
Well, the conversation shouldn't be redone since the quester isn't dead. Shrink it and bring it back with us. Talk to the skull about the holes and have him take a look at our inventory for anything that can close it. Talk to the amulet as well. Ask it what it can do.
>>
>>2074408
>>2074421
I would say that I agree we need to start forming more alliances. At the rate things are going, anyone we don't get on out side is going to end up an enemy, and "greater good" should play well with heroic types.

However, I would say we should go about it in a more subtle manner. Find a way to contact her direct to make our case.
>>
>>2074428
We might want to expend a Refresh if we want to do that in the crater.

Oh hey, ask the T-800 if it detects anything unusual, or if it detected anything of note during our interactions with the Quester and Smiley.
>>
>>2074428
You shrink down the Hourglass and take it with you. If the Quester is still out there, you can afford to bide your time.

>>2074441
"No organisms other than yourself detected while you were in the crater. You did make continued vocalizations as if you were talking to someone, but I had assumed you were practicing what you would say. No one approached during our stay."

>>2074366
You return to your hotel room and relate the situation to your Mentor. His eyes shine.

"A worthy challenge, but it will take some time. Magic has a long and storied history of bending reality. Repairing it should be well within its purview, albeit one that requires much power."

You take out the amulet and gaze at the sapphire in silver.

"Come out. I know you're there. It's time to talk."

A smoky dark shadow emerges from the amulet, vaguely humanoid with two white slits for eyes. It says nothing.

"What can you do?" you ask.

"...teach," the shade whispers. "You fight with a ghost, do you not? I offer the wisdom of the Lich King. I offer the secrets of necromancy. This is is reward to you for your service."

>>2074376
Currently this is winning. Proceeding unless someone else has an objection.
>>
>>2074432
We got the knight.
If anything we need to let him know first before trying to do shit with other pwer users.
>>
>>2074432
Good idea, we could get a throwaway phone and give it to the police chief. Tell him to give it to supergirl. We can call Supergirl though that phone from a public payphone and try to sell her on the idea on working together for the greater good. If she doesn't want to, we can just drop the idea with no loss. If she does, great. We can try and coordinate to work together.

>>2074465
It too risky for me. i have to veto this.
>>
>>2074470
Bill defeated. What now?
>>
>>2074357
I suggested that last time but nobody agreed.
We should get the dagger too
>>
>>2074465
>Currently this is winning. Proceeding unless someone else has an objection.
I'd object to this route.

>>2074470
My concern is that the Chief will alert Durango as well. While I think she might agree to our greater good story, I would not trust a government task force with unknown connections.
I like the burner phone idea, a flying girl that fights crime can't be that hard to fight long enough to have a phone dropped at her.

>>2074465
>"...teach," the shade whispers. "You fight with a ghost, do you not? I offer the wisdom of the Lich King. I offer the secrets of necromancy. This is is reward to you for your service."
Well that's a hand grenade. Great resource, but use with care.
Inquire about warding against and/or entrapping hostile spirits.
>>
>>2074502
"Of course... but dealing with the incorporeal is advanced knowledge. However, in time, with my guidance, you will be able to command the very souls of the living, trap them, eat them, even persist beyond the limits of your mortal shell. If you wish, we can focus on that instead of the more... material uses of the art."

>>2074497
Will you tribute The Two Thrones for it?
>>
>>2074465

Alright guys, I think I know how to get the Apple working.

We tribute Assassin's Creed Origins, and ask for the corpse of Bayek. We then proceed to use copy on the corpse. If we fail to copy the corpse, or our copy does not allow us to operate the apple, proceed to raise Bayek from the dead. Of course, we'd need to store and preserve Bayek's corpse if we couldn't copy it right away, at least until we learned to raise it.

>>2074521
This feels like it could go disastrously.
Let's hold off on that path for the moment.

>>2074518
Make that a nuclear hand grenade.
I'm not in favor of eating and trapping living souls, but I can see the usefulness of being able to work with the immaterial.
While Blizzard has gone to a bit of trouble to paint necromancy as something that can be used positively, I don't think raising an army of the dead will endear us to.. huh, actually, it might. Even if the Knight is probably Alliance, he might be accepting of Blizzard brand necromancy. Still shouldn't go full shambling army, that won't play well.

I feel like I'm thinking about things like this is a PR campaign.
..Which honestly is a good way to think. We aren't the cleanest cut or the most wholesome, but we'd rather be on the good side of those types because our opponents are chaos cultists, frog gods, a horror movie menagerie, and a mad overgod person.

"i believe we would like to hear more about the immaterial, but what would you have to offer in the field of material uses? and also, does the wisdom of the Lich King include more than necromantic knowledge?"
>>
>>2074545
Try going back by five seconds
>>
>>2074601
You know, this could really help us get more out of our practice with powers and spells.
We can practice and intermittently rewind after a taxing activity to perfect our technique and form.
Also help our practice with rewinding on the fly. This is a major life saver and one we should master.
>>
>>2074592
"There are ways... warding rites, spells, rituals... Are you ready to begin your tutelage?"

>>2074595
"The raising of the dead to your service is the most well known, but there are far more interesting uses as well. The grafting of dead to living, and living to dead tissue. The creation of deadly plagues and toxins. The bolstering and withering of living flesh. Even certain runes that can enhance unliving metal and stone."

>>2074601
Nothing happens. You notice the sand in the dagger's handle is empty. You'll need to refill it to use the dagger.

>>
>>2074619
Bring the Skull Mentor in on this to help us evaluate and perfect. It is a practiced teacher, after all.

But yes, building up our defenses are a major priority.
Also:
>The bolstering and withering of living flesh. Even certain runes that can enhance unliving metal and stone.
Bolstering our flesh and enhancing metal and stone sound nice too.

>The creation of deadly plagues and toxins.
Anything regarding controlling or eliminating deadly plagues?
>>
>>2074619

>The grafting of dead to living, and living to dead tissue.

Oh God, now I want to try implanting the corpse heart. I won't, but I really want to.

Give the Shade these as our priorities for learning.

1. Explain that the Watcher has escaped us multiple times by becoming a ghost when he dies, and can later resurrect himself. We need a way to put him down permanently.

2. Is it possible to build a "plague" that is only deadly to a specific other plague (green death?). If it is, then that will be our secondary priority after dealing with the watcher.
>>
>>2074619
We should wait to make the sands normal size then
>>
>>2074628
>>2074631
The spectral tutor is a harsh teacher as he goes on for a full six hours, drilling you in the basics of necromancy before you have enough and tell him that's enough for now. At the very least you need to eat. The ghostly teacher seems unmoved by this fleshy need, but obeys since he has no way to make you continue. Stripped of all history or context, the spirit is training you in the pure mechanics of necromancy and how casting it is different from other magic. With the help of your egg, you are making progress, but it's still going to be slow going. You're trying to cram what takes apprentices years to learn into the span of a few days. Still, between the egg, the fact you already know how to cast some magic, and what appears to be an inborn talent, you are making great strides. The shade estimates it will take another day before you know enough basics to learn spells.
>After the initial crash course, you can spend a full day to learn a necromancy spell from the Shade. Other avenues of learning will become available in time.

You still have 8 hours left in your day.
>>
>>2074650

Call Alex. Let's hash out a plan together of stating our case to the flying girl.
>>
>>2074643
The Shade blinks. "I... suppose the knowledge of how to create plagues could help you destroy them as well, but why would you want to do that?"

>>2074648
"Dealing with troublesome ghosts is simple enough. Do you want to enslave him, devour him, or destroy him? A plague that fights other plagues? It is possible... You would have to be advanced in the necromantic arts to learn it, though."
>>
>>2074650

Not sure that would show up, more concerned of the widespread corruption and sand monsters.
Could go the route of the the Vizier/Zuran, but he was stupid looking and got his ass kicked.
Need to work out harnessing the power without releasing.
Maybe cube the two together?
Or take the necromancy and see if we can infuse Kaileena into the Dagger in a similar manner to our Shade and Skull. The hourglass is from the timeline where she was still seeking a way to escape her fate, while becoming a magic dagger may not have been her first choice, it would still be an upgrade from her current state.

This will take study.

On the upside, we should be well insulated against temporal distortions now.
>>
Also, is there a reason we haven't tapped the most overpowered option in our games pool?
Scribblenauts, and merge with our superphone-omni-tool for ease of use. Even restricted to the original object database, that could be mindboggling.

.And wtf. Exorcise the fucking watcher and be done with it wtfs the problem? Don't tell me your a gay ass edgefag that WANTS necromancy cause I'm pretty sure (hopefully) that others will see the gayness of it and veto it into the dirt.

>TL:DR: necromancy is for angsty teens and lonely neckbeards and my 96 is going to hang around til we need it or combine it to a fucked roll. That roll might just save our life.

>My 96 stands since its not an "active" roll or some shit. Fuck him
>>
>>2074856
Well we already wasted some resources and time on the watcher to try and off him with zero results. If we are gonna destroy his soul, we may as well devour it AND get some kind of additional benefit from it desu.
>>
>>2074950

K senpai, but I doubt it'll work like that. The Watcher isn't going to be some bitch, movies are probably a badass tribute. Actually I know their a badass tribute and might be more then we can handle, especially not knowing how many days in he is.
>>
>>2074984.
Of course he badass but it not like he would go easier on us because we decide to destroy his soul instead of consuming it. Though one possible benefit i see that destroy would have over consume could be the better PR. (Look everyone, I destroyed the watcher and I didn't benefit from it.)

I think that everyone started having their gifts at the same time because the weird shit happened only after we got our powers.
>>
>>2074704
add and tribute Prototype, ask for a sample of the blacklight virus.

I figure we can use it on ourselves at some point as a last resort,
>>
>>2074992

I don't think that's it as Lumbard(t){?} Street was leveled before we got our power. But I digress.

Anyhoo: after careful consideration and few shots of tequila I've decided to not veto your stupid necromancy thoughts. However since you guys will somehow fuck this up, I'm going to offer up my 96 as a sacrificial lamb for a noninterference pact for shapelifing a new cohort. Agreed?

Also a helpful hint: we could emulate a Guild Wars game and probably learn our dumbass necromancy in a brief timeframe with the egg. I don't like it, but there it is
>>

No. Just no. I'm opposed.
>>
>>2074910

>>
oh fuck, forgot that we can request shit now.

Add and tribute Gat out of Hell, ask for Lucifers halo.
Gat shouldn't have a problem with that, especially when he's got his girl back or wants to genocide a planets hostiles without it being too easy.
>>
>>2074910
Not how rolls work, dumbo. So yeah, thanks for wasting a great roll.
Anywho, there's little-to-no advantage to rejecting Necromancy (the "gayness" of it doesn't count as a reason) and it's already been done. You're willing to waste a free gift because. . . it's too edgy? Come on now.
Totally related note, why are you and >>2074856 so incoherent? Are you both
just dumb, or underaged? I'm leaning towards the latter. Can't tell if this or the stupid ally conversation was worse.

>>2074856
I don't know. If you can get free powers with little risk, why not take it? Sure, it's bad PR, but no one would really know. Even if we told, he's a GHOST, an aggressive one at that, and our allies would understand. After all, greater good and all that. Just. . . don't keep them too in the dark.
>>
We've also been neglecting our shaper power to do inconsequential shit like sharpen our Pokemons claws and such.
If we're not going to shape a cure to the green death then we should start pumping out loyal super humans to follow us. At least one a day.
>>
>>2075251

Wasting a great roll, dude shut the fuck up! We wasted a 95 on outright killing Supergirl because everybody felt bad, oh no the hot blonde chick got her ass whooped. Who cares its all water under the bridge now anyways so start looking towards the future, figure out something to not burn through tributes (we'll be days without them by day 100), and get this train wreck pulled back on the tracks.

>We should call our fucking parents with 5 minutes out of the day and make sure they aren't Green Deathed, if applicable.
>>
>>2075334
Dude get over your 95 already, you've been whining the whole quest. Sorry the rest of us are decent people and don't want to murder someone on ridiculously flimsy justification.

Super loyal humans who get jack shit done, like igor? Yeah no, I would rather empower the minions who are actually useful, like Charizard.

>>2075334

>We wasted a 95 on outright killing Supergirl because everybody felt bad,

We voted against attacking supergirl because we figured we couldn't hit her when she was flying away, and we had used up our trump cards for the day.

>inb4 I rolled a 95 we totally would have hit her

No roll was asked for, so that roll wouldn't have counted and you know it.

our goal was literally to make a servant not someone super competent that could think and fight.
Do you honestly think we can make a complex as fuck anti plague but can't make olympic class followers?
perhaps it would take more than one day to do it or it might require research first but its seriously worth it if only for the versatility.
We could make soldiers or pilots or just guards out of them or anything else really.

>No roll was asked for, so that roll wouldn't have counted and you know it.

Lot of convenient forgetting you're doing there.

someone voted for it, QM asked for a roll but two chucklefucks didn't want to attack the poor defenseless damsel.
We shouldnt be arguing it anymore but fuck you for trying to revision how shit went down.
We fucked up by not doing the smart thing and it came back to bite us.
learn from it instead of making excuses.
>>
>>2075597
Murdering her wasn't the smart thing to do, you wannabe intellectual. Take your edginess and go post emo poetry on tumblr or whatever you people do.
>>
>>2075597

>didn't want to attack the poor defenseless damsel.

Nice revisionist history there. QM wouldn't ask for a roll and then not take it, he WOULD however not a take a roll that wasn't asked for. No one gave a shit about flying girl being a girl or being injured. Plenty of people gave a shit that she was already flying away, and that there was a magic 5 ton ball of gold sitting next to us and that we were out of emulations.

>it came back to bite us.

How exactly?

>Do you honestly think we can make a complex as fuck anti plague but can't make olympic class followers?

Simple as fuck anti plague, and yes.

>our goal was literally to make a servant not someone super competent that could think and fight.

>warehouse

Flying girl had nothing to do with that, you idiot.
>>
>>2075671
that second one was the qm asking for the roll, fucking hell.

that loyal cop confirmed she was with the head of durango. fucking why else would the police chief ask people to break the law and enter our place? cause they knew and were sure it was us and they'd find something.

You're a fool for giving that cunt the benefit of the doubt, this isn't a court room for fucks sakes.

Loyal cop said police chief was head of durango, and that he brings flying girl with him places.

Flying girl had no idea where our warehouse was, or she would have appeared there personally.
>>
>>2075562

No, YOU mightve voted against killing Supergirl, some of us knew it'd come back to get us as most everything else has.
Igor when being properly utilized is just as helpful as any other creation we can come up with. I bet you think the bird was a dumbass idea too or voted for dragooning the dragon.

>>2075664

In all fairness had we been shapelifing the whole time we would have a small army by now. Hell we can't even use all our battle items or equipment cause we're only one person. We need more people.
>>

shit, thats another thing, we could have shaped a giant that could carry the warhammer 40k gun

>>
>>2075814
I thought that had been requested already. Hopefully something it was doing while we talked shop with the Shade.
>>
>>2075777

>No, YOU mightve voted against killing Supergirl
No, WE voted against attacking flying girl. NOBODY voted not to kill her, only not to attack her at that time. Multiple people. Only one person voted to shoot at her.

Igor has proven useless at every turn.

>I bet you think the bird was a dumbass idea too or voted for dragooning the dragon.

You bet your ass the bird was a dumb idea. What has he done? Told us about fucking cops that we would have out about the moment we attempted to go home.

And dragooning was a very good idea ruined by a shit roll, not like we can't make another dragon if you're so butthurt about it. It'd be way better than making a fucking bird, or another fucking igor.

>some of us knew it'd come back to get us as most everything else has.

Of course I knew that Flying girl would appear again, she said as much when she flew away, you know that thing she does where she moves away faster than we could reasonably catch her, hence voting against wasting insanely valuable BFG ammo?

Christ you people can be so retarded sometimes.

>In all fairness had we been shapelifing the whole time we would have a small army by now.

Yeah, an army full of Igors and fucking useless birds. Where we could focus our shaping into single more powerful minions, or you know, the disease that is currently wiping out humanity!
>>
>>2075894
>No, WE voted against attacking flying girl. NOBODY voted not to kill her, only not to attack her at that time. Multiple people. Only one person voted to shoot at her.

Dumbass, not shooting at her means you didn't want to kill her. Now that it came to bite us back in the ass, you try and spin it like "everyone totally wanted to kill her guys but didn't because reasons". There was also one dumb moralfag who didn't want to kill her at all because of "justice" so there goes your "NOBODY voted not to kill her" bullcrap.

>>2075953
Hey QM, how come we don't get our shaper charges listed as well?

>>2075894
Two anons against the one, it was just an unfortunate matter of the right people not being here.

Shapings as good as the time we invest into it. stop shitting on igor already, expecting him to be a commando when we only made him to watch the house when we aren't home.

Attacking the wanabee hero was a matter of a dice role and choosing the right decision. So you don't get to argue it was a retarded idea when we had a 96.
Yeah bfg ammo is valuable, damn well worth using on one of the few power user in the world that damn well hated us.

>we could focus our shaping into single more powerful minions, or you know, the disease that is currently wiping out humanity!
Except we fucking haven't at all!
Raising soldiers and followers idea was raised because we've been doing nothing special with it
>>
>>2075941

>Dumbass, not shooting at her means you didn't want to kill her.

Dumbass, I wanted to kill her, I voted against shooting her at that time because I doubted our ability to do it, and also because there was fucking 2 ton golden ball of majesty next to us, and we were out of trump cards if she survived the BFG. Speaking of surviving the BFG, we also didn't know how she survived the the Nuclear explosion, so expecting her to survive the BFG even if we could somehow hit her was not unreasonable.

But none of that means that I didn't want to kill her, I absolutely did, and continued to later argue about how we should hunt her down and kill her.

> Now that it came to bite us back in the ass,

It literally HASN'T bitten us in the ass.

>you try and spin it like "everyone totally wanted to kill her guys but didn't because reasons"

I'm not "Spinning" it, that is exactly how it went down.

I absolutely do get to argue when that 96 came after we had already voted not to shoot.

>Yeah bfg ammo is valuable, damn well worth using on one of the few power user in the world that damn well hated us.

Not like we couldn't have shot her at our next meeting. You know, when we aren't out of trump cards to use against whatever countermeasures she might pull out of her ass.

>Except we fucking haven't at all!
Except we totally fucking have, we poured shaping into Charizard, and the now dead dragon. That is how we should be using our shaping, taking an existing minion and making it stronger.

The anime guy also had a run in with him but they have some sort of non aggression pact now, that cowardly jackass. The only one we know he's killed so far is the Musician, but who knows how many other Gifted there were before he started his hunt?" She growls. "I'd have him stringed up by now if it weren't for this damn plague, all the lab hours I could've spent tracking him..."

She pauses.

"Goddammit, why the hell am I such a blabbermouth... you shouldn't be hearing ANY of this!"

>>2076342
"Actually, that's a great point. I can use my powers to tell if you're lying. I've got something better than the dimensional awareness, though. If you're really telling the truth, then meet me alone somewhere. I'll let you pick so you feel safe. I'm going to read your mind, and if what you say is true..." she pauses. "...if it's true, I'll agree to put things aside. At least until the world is saved. That's how it's usually done, isn't it?"
>>
She gonna read our mind and find out about the plague. nice
>>
>>2076386
"fuck that, give me some time and ill get rid of the green death. I want my stuff back also you law breaker, going into my place the way the cops did was illegal ."

We don't need her using her shit to know we made the plague and mind crushed a few officers.
We're gonna need to tribute something that'll protect our mind or get a spell from our magic mentors

Guys cmon, you don't think we can whip up something to block her in a day? She might not even see it, if she can only see surface thoughts or only scans for Harmont. Worst comes to worst, the plague wasn't even intentional, and she'll see we sent the government those antidote notes to try and fix it. Quester said every gifted has fucked up and done some really terrible thing. She probably has done something similar.
>>
>>2076430
Come up with the actual idea first man.
I ain't voting for a maybe
>>
>>2076414
There's a pause.
"That's... actually a brilliant idea. And I could really use that lasso after I'm done with you, why didn't I think of it before?!"

>>2076396
"That's rich talk coming from you. Breaking a military cordon is way worse than exploiting a few questionable laws. And we've already got a cure now, we're just figuring out how to mass produce it! So there!"
>>
>>2076434
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't vote for a perfect plan if it wasn't exactly what you wanted to do.
Anyway sounds like the lasso idea worked, so it's a moot point.

>>2076440
Oh cmon, everybody was sneaking past that cordon. I at least had the tools to protect myself, unlike most of the normies.

Also 20 bucks says you developed that cure with some anonymously submitted research papers, that were accompanied by Russian plans to build a cold fusion reactor. Consider the submitter to be unanonymized.
>>
>>2076440
Already? thats pretty impressive, seems like you had a little help developing the cure. imagine that.
Look, i get you got burned by watcher and now he's ruined you for other guys with trust issues but im not getting my mind scrambled through because of it.
I honestly just want to be left alone, if you can't accept that then the worlds gonna suffer for it when it gets rent asunder
>>
>>2076443
"That was... How did..." she sputters. "I do NOT owe you twenty bucks!!! I had to blow an emulation of Reed Richards to pull the cure from those papers and get it working! I... I owe you ten bucks! Tops!"
>>
>>2076460
"If all you really want is to be left alone, that's fine. I don't have to LIKE that, but I can LIVE with that. I just am not sure how much I can believe you when you say that."
>>
>>2076461
Just bring it with the lasso of truth. If you still want to bother, because I just proved I'm helping out.

Also Pym > Richards.

>>2076460
No, let's not make threats of "leave us alone or the world dies", thanks. We're trying to look good here.
>>
>>2076474
>The Smiling Man feels like he has to comment on how fitting it is that the man trying to save the world from his fuck up with the Green Death sympathizes with the man who saved the world from his own fuck up of Ultron.

"Whatever. Pick a time, pick a place. When the time comes, I'm gonna lasso your face."
>>
>>2076470
tell you what, we save the world and you give me my stuff back. they're not all a huge deal but they're mine and i want them back is all.
Then i'll settle into a mansion and live my life in peace.
I'll even bring another gifted into this to help us as a plus.

>>2076474
Its not an i'll kill you threat, its a the world will be saved slower cause you couldn't put your feelings aside guilt trip.
>>
>>2076483
Alright, tomorrow, 5 PM, Cape Vohimena, Madagascar.

Any anons still object? She's not gonna mind read us, and we're gonna grab the lasso, so we can let go if there's a question we don't want to answer.
>>
>>2076487
>we're gonna grab the lasso
is that a thing you can do?
neat
Figured it was binding till wonderwoman let go
>>
>>2076486
You know that it isn't a threat. Other people will misinterpret it because of your wording.

Also she doesn't seem to know about the holes in reality thing, so talking about saving the world will just confuse her. Let's save it for the meeting.
>>
>>2076486
"Er... Technically I don't have the authority to give it back, I'm not in charge of Durango. But I can put in a good word." She pauses. "Of course if the world blows up, you won't get your stuff anyway, so..."

>>2076487
"OK. I'll see you there."

You drop the call and sigh deeply. This is either going to go very well or very poorly, but this isn't the time for low stakes gambling you suppose. Your stomach growls as you toss the burner phone onto the nightstand. It's been a long day, you could use some grub. Maybe some room service, or some...

The sound of knuckles on wood interrupts your thoughts.

Someone's knocking at the door.

If this is a Watcher thing, I wonder how he found us again.

Also there's an anime guy, if he doesn't have a title yet I propose we call him The Weeaboo.
>>
>>2076571

The Quester referred to him as 'The Weeb', in our first meeting.
>>
>>2076575
classic quester
>>
>>2076557
>>2076563
He has no phone, which is weird. His thoughts are easy to read.
>"Come on, don't wait me wait, I brought pizza, everyone loves pizza. What kind of Gamer doesn't love pizza? I wish I was back at the palace [CENSORED]. Just open the door already. Ugh, maybe I shouldn't have blown my Negima use on this. No, keep positive, this'll work, and then I can just wait everything out."
>>
>>2076587
I think this is the weeb. Open the door.

"I don't remember ordering pizza"
>>
>>2076587
Oh shit it's the weeb. I guess we should chat.

"Hey Weeaboo. How'd you find me?"

>>2076587

>>2076587
Never mind don't open it. He with the watcher.
Do this >>2076602
>>
>>2076610
>>2076601
He's not with the Watcher, they fought for a bit, then the Weeb got scared and called a non aggression pact, but didn't ally. At least that's the understanding I got.
>>
>>2076595
>>2076589
>>2076600
Arnie opens the door and looms in front of the fat man. He has slightly curly brown, oily hair that falls to his shoulders. Other than the shirt, he's got worn out jeans on, and is wearing sandals despite the cold outside. His first reaction is not to the Terminator, but rather to your words.

"I am NOT a weeaboo!" he shouts. "I'm an anime ENTHUSIAST or OTAKU!"

>>2076601
He frowns and shifts the pizza boxes around. "I'm not WITH him, I'm just not FIGHTING him. Look, by those words I guess I found the right guy. You're the Gamer, right? I've got a deal to make with you. I brought pizza as a peace offe-"

>>2076606
A blaster bolt burns the air over the Weeb's head. He yelps and ducks.

"What the hell was that for, I haven't even done anything yet?!"
>>
>>2076613

After the Watcher sent assassins after us, I'm not up for trusting an unknown quantity. Also, as we read from his mind, used negima, which must have been a very powerful tribute. Most shonen battle animanga would be.
>>
>>2076625

"After the Watcher started sending assassins after me, I'm not up to trusting someone who just shows up in my room."

"We can talk over the phone. Arnie, give a phone number, and make sure he leaves"

For God's sake, don't attack him anymore.
>>
>>2076625
How can I trust you switzerland
>>
>>2076625
"Ok ok sorry, I'm a bit jumpy. The Watcher has sent assassins after me, set traps, and tried to kill me on at least 3 occasions. Comic girl told me you made a pact with him, that's all I had to go on. So, I guess I should call you The Otaku? Thanks for the pizza, why are you here? You know The Watcher is a huge asshole who is probably going to destroy the world, right?"

I'm vetoing any more unprovoked violence.

Dude what the hell.

I don't know any of those specifications we need to specify so it doesn't fuck us
>>
>>2076639
they're video games and we totally can.
Even if we can't the QM himself said we should try it out ourselves.
I want them so we can emulate the heroes in it anyway. Items like the knife that can switch peoples allegiance to you as well

>>2076625
Also
Add Smite and Smite Tactics: Hand of the gods
>>
>>2076631
The Weeb looks from Arnie to his pizza. "Am I really supposed to eat all this by myself? I can't... Well, OK, MAYBE I could..." He opens one box and takes a slice, munching experimentally. "I guess I could try, save the rest for lunch tomorrow."

>>2076633
"I brought you pizza, dude, what more do you want?!"

>>2076635
"Yeah, Otaku's fine. Destroying the world is an exaggeration, probably." He swallows. "You want me to go and phone you? I thought this warranted an in person meeting, but I really don't care so long as we get this deal done."
>>
>>2076644

We could get Demonbane if there is a game (maybe a VN, but we haven't confirmed that those count yet) that features it unless QM fiats it. But we don't have a way to control Demonbane if we do summon it. Guaranteed to be stronger than even the Smiling Man though.
>>
>>2076650
What deal? I haven't agreed to anything yet.
>>
>>2076649
dunno about that. take it slow and just add one VN first to tribute. see if it works.

Guys he brought us pizza and we shot at him with a laser rifle, the least we can do is invite him in.

"What deal? A non=aggression pact like you have with the Watcher? I wish you'd help me take him down. He's tributed some nasty shit. Maybe not planet destroying, but enough to wipe out humanity.
>>
>>2076650

"State your deal, then. Is it another non-aggression pact? We have no quarrel with you currently."
>>
>>2076661
>>2076660
>>2076656
"Well yeah, a non aggression pact. I just want to chill in my castle with my girls and..." the Otaku waves his piece of pizza around. "...enjoy life. I'm the sure the Watcher's doing all sorts of nasty stuff, but what do I care? I'll be safe and have everything I need. It's none of my business if everything else goes to hell." He takes another bite of pizza. "But I mean, the Watcher doesn't want to wipe out humanity anyway, he just wants to set himself up as some sort of god-king. Whatever, so long as I don't have to be part of his kingdom. If you want to fight him, go nuts, I just want you all to leave me out of it."
>>
>>2076660
>from the makers of the green death

Pretty selfish, but at least one anon is fighting hard for that so we don't really have grounds to criticize.

"Sure, I agree. Thanks for the pizza."

>>2076670
ACCIDENT! I'm sure original anon thought they'd send it in a bottle or something.
>>
>>2076669

"OK, I don't have any reason to attack you, so as long as you don't come after me, I'll leave you be."

"The thing is, the world doesn't have long left, even if the Watcher isn't the one to destroy it. Give me a call later. We can talk about it"

"Wait, did you say girls? Lucky bastard."

After we are sure he is leaving, gather our stuff, including Arnie, and gate stone elsewhere. If the Weeb knows where we are, the Watcher might as well.
>>
>>2076669
keep using the pin, ask how he found us.
Ask if he's sure he can trust the watcher to keep to their deal, inform him we've heard he made the same deal and betrayed the comic book gifted.
>>
>>2076683
Don't think that's true, see >>2076386
She called him a coward for taking the deal, she never took it herself.
>>
>>2076673
"Hey no problem, peace is worth a piece of pizza," the otaku says, sliding you a box. "Just you know, don't fuck with my powers or anything. That Quester idiot tried to get me to stop using them, can you believe it?"

>>2076674
"No man, I'm only reaching out to people now because I can tell shit is going down from the news. I want none of it. I found you by..."

>>2076678
"Emulating Negima, right?" you ask. He blinks.

"Yeah, how'd you know? Well it doesn't matter. I'm burning Negima for this to give me the power to survive and the ability to find the other Gifted. Gonna go all around and get my peace treaties all in a row. Today. Then I'm going to kick back and watch all my waifus fight over me. In oil. Mmmm." The Otaku smiles unwholesomely. "Really I don't get why all of you aren't doing the same. It's a dream come true."

>>2076679
The pin lets you know he's telling the truth, but it also lets you know what he's thinking of when he mentions his waifus fighting over him in oil, and that is an image that's going to lurk in your head for some time.

>>2076680
"If the world's getting blown up, who cares? It sucked anyway," the Otaku burps and finishes his pizza piece. "My palace will be safe. That's all I care about."

>"Wait, did you say girls? Lucky bastard."

"You have no idea," the Otaku's eyes gleam. "The Watcher has been using his power to summon horrors, thinks fear is power. But you can get power in way pleasanter ways..." the fat man sighs and closes his eyes, the barrage of thoughts the Player Pin gives you making it very hard to keep from turning in disgust. "I've been summoning only the best. All my loves. A bevy of waifus to serve me until the end of time." He pauses, frowning. "It leads to hard decisions though. I spent days deciding on Yoruichi or Matsumoto."

>>2076683
"Well the Watcher really hates you, so even if he breaks the deal I've got time. Besides," he grins. "I've got a trump card or two."

The Player Pin lets you know that the trump card he's thinking of are a selection of animes he hasn't pulled from yet... but is keeping in reserve.

Wink wink nudge nudge
>>
>>2076723
Well he seems to be pretty similar to this anon here >>2076460 in that he's giving us the same offer that anon wanted to give comic girl.

I vote we leave him alone. After Watcher is dealt with we can maybe talk with him again, see if we can convince him to be content with what he has and not poke more holes into reality.
>>
>>2076723
There probably is nothing left of importance to ask or talk to him about. So politely show him the door after the last few questions and then go to sleep.
>>
>>2076723

The weeb refusing to stop using his power is concerning, but not something that will ruin everything. He can only poke so many holes after all, and once we start plugging the holes up, problem solved.
>>
>>2076723
oh yeah, ask for his contact number before he leaves.
>>
>>2076723
Look man, I'm all for leaving people alone if they aren't trashing the world I live in, or trying to kill me. I can work with that.

Oh, hey. Try to bring in someone to help with the holes you're punching in reality though. You can't keep enjoying things if outer gods rip into our world through weak points concentrated on your lair. Maybe YÅ«ko Ichihara, she seemed well versed in dimensional manipulation. Or Washu Hakubi, for a more science-y angle. You live, we live, you have them around, and you don't have to fight anyone, just chill and maybe let us know if they need anything to help stop reality from imploding.
>>
>>2076898
Dude. Tribute Original Tenchi Muyo for Mihoshi, then Tribute Universe or Ryo-Ohki for Washu.

"Eh. I kinda like the idea of the holes getting bigger. You're not focusing on the positive man. Sure, the old crummy world will be gone, but what will take its place? With holes that big, we can probably summon or tribute without limit!"

>>2076727
The Weeb scoffs and sweeps some crumbs off his Hawaiian shirt. "Like I'm dumb enough to tell you where I put my base."

"Be that as it may, I think we have an agreement for the time being. Leave a phone number in case we need to work out a treaty again?" you ask, reaching out your hand. The Weeb shakes it slowly.

"Naw, not now. I'll have one of the girls send over a way to contact me later. Enjoy the pizza, I gotta run. Seeya!"

And with that, the Weeb vanishes.

In other news, it is now believed that the Green Death may also cause bouts of schizophrenia and hallucinations, as incidents of people doing bizarre things are beginning to become commonplace.

FEMA has announced it has finalized a treatment for the Green Death and will begin manufacturing and distributing the necessary drugs. However, to prevent rioting over proper distribution of the drugs, martial law is being declared in all states. The rest of the world is demanding the cure as well.

"Superhero landing. Predictable," you say, tipping your fedora.

"Deadpool reference. Predictable," she replies, standing. On her belt is a glowing golden lasso, which she twirls experimentally. "OK, you ready for this?"
>>
>>2079219
Ask to hold the end of Lasso of Truth and just repeat what we told her over the phone so she knows what we said isn't a lie. No Wonder Women stunts and lassoing forcibly us please.
>>
>>2079219
"I'm ready for you to hold it out so I can grab it. Don't throw that thing at me. I agreed to tell the truth, not to be bound until you choose to release me."
>>
>>2079243
>>2079237
"Being underhanded isn't my thing," she says, rolling her eyes and holding out the end of the Lasso. You grab it and she looks at you intently.

"What happened at Harmont?" she asks.

"The Leaf tried to stop me from reaching the Golden Sphere, so I shot him with the BFG 9000 and accidentally blew everyone up," you say, unable to stop yourself from speaking or doctoring up the words. The Fan seems unmoved.

"What happened to the Golden Sphere?"

"I got frustrated when I accidentally used my wish to explain that it granted wished, so I hacked it up and it went away."

The Fan's eyebrow twitches.

"What do you know about the Smiling Man?"

"He's the being that gave us our powers and is apparently using us as entertainment."

"And our powers?"

"They damage the fabric of reality with each use. They draw on other worlds to work, and drawing on them leaves holes behind that can let other things through. The Quester thinks in... well, sixty days now, the world might collapse or let something horrible through or something because of all the holes building up."

"Did you kill my father?"

"No."

"Are you working with the Watcher?"

"No."

"Do you want to stop the world from collapsing because of these reality holes?"

"Yes."

She's paused, deep in thought. What do you do?
>>
>>2079273
ok, now just drop the lasso and wait for her to speak.
>>
>>2079273
Let go of the lasso.
"dead dad huh, sorry to hear about that. How'd he die?"
>>
>>2078584
>This will be the second time questers attempted to use her luck to their benefit.
Oh? Did the first time involve a certain task force?

Is that you Metaman?
>>
>>2079273
Let go of the lasso, first thing.

"dead dad, huh? bummer. Anyway I'm pretty sure you've talked to the Quester, he gave me the info about how our powers were affecting reality. I'm using my resources to find a way to patch these holes up. I don't think we'll be able to stop using our powers, since Watcher is still alive, and intends to kill us all and set himself up as some sort of ruler, reality be damned. I'm not as noble as you or The Knight, but I'm not as passive as The Otaku either. I'd like to help save the world. Hopefully in exchange you can give me a pass with Durango. After all, the Leaf was the one who summoned the Shrike to attack North Korea, and it was at least 97% his fault that Harmont blew up. Who walks around with a shield that can cause a nuclear explosion anyway? That's the kind of thing you warn people about before the fight begins."
>>
>>2079290
>>2079279
The Fan blinks. "N-now's not the time for that! OK, so you still look super shady to me, but Harmont really wasn't... well, wasn't MOSTLY your fault... and I guess you are serious about the reality warping thing..." She taps her finger against her chin. "...I guess we've got a team-up for now. But don't do anything shady, OK? I don't care what you do so long as it doesn't hurt anyone, but when it does..." The Fan slams her fist into her open palm. "Clobberin' time!"

"Yeah, I got that," you say, sighing. "So now what?"

"I... have no idea," the Fan huffs. "I'm no good with planning, it's part of the reason I teamed up with Durango. Their boss is a smart cookie even if he doesn't have superpowers like we do."

>>2079340
Haven't you been wondering what the hell the Black Blade is? Why there's a seal on it? Why the dice began to roil with pain from thread one? ...I'm pretty sure Bootleg is around here too, but that's just a hunch.
>>
>>2079352
"I don't know too much about the Leaf... from what I gathered, he didn't think things through too much," the Fan frowns. She extends a hand. "OK. I can probably get Durango to back off, at least until the Watcher and Smiley are dealt with. After that... well, we'll see how things go. At the very least, I can probably give you fair warning and a head start. Fair's fair."

Heck, I meant to poke someone else. Sorry. >< Phoneposting is a suck, I could have sworn there was someone else.
>>
>>2079359
Lets tackle our problems one step at a time. We need to solve our current most pressing problem which is the watcher first. We still have some time before reality blows up. Tell me what do you know of the watcher and where is he currently at now.
>>
>>2079354
Glad you're still questing, and I'm only kinda sorta caught up. Just started reading a few threads ago.

Also, you know this means that we totally have to tribute a Godzilla game now for MechaGodzilla, right? Hopefully the Gamer is good at Poker.
>>
>>2079359
"Alright, sounds good. Gimme that phone back, so you have a easy way to get in touch. Are you still busy dealing with the plague, or can you offload that? Also, do you know what other gifted are still out there besides us? The Watcher is our most pressing problem. I've killed him twice, but he keeps reviving himself. He seems to draw his power from horror movies, but his resurrection power is a source obscure enough that I haven't been able to identify it. Have you had any luck?
>>
>>2075334
WASTED. ROLL. Late, but whatever.
If QM doesn't ask for one, and you roll for farts and giggles, it's WASTED unless they're nice and carry it over or whatever
Like, the other one was somewhat justified, it was just. . . well, due to a change in votes. A good roll, for something relevant.
This one was COMPLETELY RANDOM, and also rolled for denying free perks. Heck dude, I didn't know you were opposed to HINDERING POOR ALEX.

Run it through your boss if you have to.
>>
>>2079367
The Fan shrugs helplessly. "I don't know much more than you. I met him in Harmont, thought he was another STALKER wannabe. He acted scared and begged me to help him find his wife and get them both out of there. Well that turned out to be a trap, because he led me into a run down building that he managed to turn into some kinda dreamscape horror mansion. I burned Constantine to get me out of there, then he stopped with being tricky and just flat out summoned some monsters. That part wasn't so hard." He frowns. "He knew about the Sphere somehow. I mean, I found out about it when I got there, but from his gloating it sounds like he'd been watching the Leaf for a while. The Leaf was determined not to let anyone use the Sphere... so I guess in the end you sort of fulfilled his goal for him when you hacked it up."

>>2079378
"No, I didn't even know it was a power he had. I just assumed he found a way to evade the nuke. Maybe it's from a ghost movie? Or one of those supernatural shows? He can tribute from television too, you know, I found that out the hard way when he pulled those cheapo supersoldiers from the last season of X-Files to wail on me."

She pauses. "Oh. And the Green Death cure is out of my hands now, it's being manufactured and distributed."
>>
>>2079415
They have to give us our cats back too.
>>
>>2079421
Ok whatever, keep the disposable phone I gave you. I will contact you though it when I find out where the watcher is and then we will cooperate together to take him down. Is that ok with you?
>>
>>2079415
Look up the definition of due process, you sound like an idiot.

>>2079421
Ok. I'll be working with the Knight to find and kill Watcher, in my spare time I'll devote my resources to fixing reality. You do that too, and maybe also see about stopping Smiley? Comic book heroes pull off impossible wins all the time, so that's definitely your forte.
>>
>>2079415

>>2079437
"Sure. If I find him first, I'll do the same."

Yeah, for you apparently the benefit of not dying along with our universe isn't worth the negative? The negative being learning more about our powers and possibly getting more powerful, while an ally gets the same chance.

The rest of us don't see a negative.

Look man. I know you love edgy things like killing the Fan and trying to exterminate humanity by tributing Pandemic 2, but that just isn't the way everyone else wants to play. Maybe you should take it to one of the villain quests.

Ok faggot, I already explained why I didn't want to copy her here >>2082550. Read it again.

>>Keep dodging the point that the watcher and the quarter somehow knew our secrets
>I'm not dodging it, it just isn't relevant. The Watcher knew because he fucking possessed us, and the Quester knew because this is a fucking Quest. Neither of those are a problem with the Fan.
Just like how Alex will never find out we are gifted as well amrite?
>It literally is. Especially since she won't even think to look. And even more so, because there soon won't be anything for her to find out in the first place.
Thank you man for being foremost expert in the Fan. She will never develop superhero powers that might accidentally expose us will never happen. Nope will never ever happen. Just like how Alex will never find out about us.

OK you slimy piece of shit, let's start from the top.

> No where did I say in
>>2082267 would she learn about our crimes if she copied us

Sure you did, you said it right here.

>The thought that she could find out about the origins of the green death and mindraping cops apparently eludes your empty skull.

>Show me where i said it in >>2082267 and I will concede.

Right here.

>The thought that she could find out about the origins of the green death and mindraping cops apparently eludes your empty skull.

>Nice one m8, all you have for your proving that I said it was that that my statement "Implies" it.

No your statement is pretty explicit.

>Lol you still can't prove your strawman

That's because there is no strawman, only you stating explicitly that one of the drawbacks of copy swapping is that she'll find our misdeeds.

>Explained In >>2082439
>Where I said "I am saying that letting her know of our powers would be a mistake. I didn't say that she would know magically somehow of our crimes when she copies us. Powering up a potential enemy is a bad idea."

Yet another example of you backpedaling.

>I already said she could find out about the green death and mindraping the cops

She literally can't.

>Wow, just ignoring >>2082550 and
>>2082267 and pretend I didn't already explain it.

Except those are going by an erroneous argument that she can in fact find out, which she can't.

>Repeating it will never make it true.

Good thing its true independently of me confirming it to be true then.

>WTF I AM GOING TO MOVE THE GOALPOSTS AND PRETEND MY PAST MISDEEDS DON'T MATTER ANYMORE.

Except they literally don't. Pointing that out isn't moving the goalposts. She is willing to work with us in spite of past deeds. If she were to find out about other ones they would fall under the same banner as long as they were PAST deeds.

>Prove your original argument wasn't a strawman.

Oh sure, It wasn't a strawman because it was simply me quoting you saying what you said.

>Just like how Alex will never find out we are gifted as well amrite?

Yes, just like that. Alex never figured out we were gifted until we told him.

>She will never develop superhero powers that might accidentally expose us will never happen.

What does that have to do with copy swapping? Also, Yes, that is true, she won't ever develop powers that will expose us.

>Just like how Alex will never find out about us.

Indeed, Alex didn't find out about us until we told him. Though him finding out we have powers is entirely different from figuring out what we did with those powers.

Can you prove that absolute statement of yours that she will never find out?

I already said I don't want to empower her that's why no copyswaping.

>Indeed, Alex didn't find out about us until we told him. Though him finding out we have powers is entirely different from figuring out what we did with those powers.
We were forced to tell him since he used that scroll. Lest he started getting ideas that we were a bad person.

Oh sure, here is your proof:

>The thought that she could find out about the origins of the green death and mindraping cops apparently eludes your empty skull.

>Explaining my statement so you can stop being obtuse and misrepresenting my statement is backpadaling

"Explaining" your statement to try to change its meaning is backpedaling, yes.

>Can you prove that absolute statement of yours that she will never find out?

Certainly. She won't ever find out because she will never look. Also, there is no power that could possibly let her know. And in addition to that, we no longer have the powers we used to do those things, so she can't copy them to find out. Finally, there won't even be anything to find out in the near future. I think all this talk of a "Strawman" is to pretend that I haven't attacked your "real argument", no matter how many times I shoot down your rebuttals. The problem is that you don't HAVE a "real argument", what you see is what you get. Stop pretending that there is any way for the Fan to find out that we were the cause for the Green Death or the police officers, whether you meant by copying or not, when the Fan can't even figure out who killed her own fucking father. Stop pretending that even if she could that she would care, having done something just as horrible herself as told by the Quester. Anon stop, your single biggest, most significant contribution to this quest has been getting into internet fights for wrongthink. It always ends up with you and the other party filling the thread with tl;dr posts all day. What worst is you and the other party(s) have already done it in multiple threads already. I will have to dispute your egregious claim that you are saving this threads. Its is opposite when you and the other parties shitflinging could drive away potential new players. You insisting on correcting anons's wrongthink and then failing to convince people is stupid. What you should do is just state your foolproof arguments and then just let everyone else decide.

Other players like me that wants to vote to play Alex somewhat selfishly do in fact post sensible posts quite often that no one would object or veto. You claim that other "dumbass" anons who votes differently from you has never made a suggestion or ideas to be voted on irritates me. Not every single sensible posts ever made is made by you or your like-minded anons only.

So stop getting into arguments where you and the other party have a bitching contest where you and the other party try to get the last word in.

I hope OP will finally chime in so that this can stop.

My biggest contribution to this quest are the numerous ideas and plans I constantly throw around in every single thread.

>Other players like me that wants to vote to play Alex somewhat selfishly do in fact post sensible posts quite often that no one would object or veto.

Which I do not object or veto to, like I just said. I fully support Alex being selfish, its how I prefer to play him. I also want Alex to make sense though.

>You claim that other "dumbass" anons who votes differently from you

Dumbass anons don't necessarily vote differently from me. They specifically vote not to do things instead of coming up with things to do. They call ideas stupid instead of contributing to the solving of problems.

>Not every single sensible posts ever made is made by you or your like-minded anons only.

Voting differently from me doesn't make someone a dumbass anon, shooting down ideas while providing none of their own makes someone a dumbass anon.

I think a variety of ideas are a good thing. So come up with ideas. If you don't like an idea, don't just shoot it down, come up with something better.

>So stop getting into arguments where you and the other party have a bitching contest where you and the other party try to get the last word in.

>I hope OP will finally chime in so that this can stop

You know you yourself are making it worse, right?

What i am telling you is to "just state your foolproof arguments and then just let everyone else decide."

I don't care, stop shitting it up for everyone else. My last reply since you are an obviously argumentative person who needs lots of (You)s and will need to get the last word in.

"Eh, maybe later," you shrug. The Fan mimics the gesture.

"Suit yourself. I'm heading out then. Igor and your cats should be back within the day, try not to blow up the world until we stop the other assholes from blowing it up."

"I'm not an asshole," you say, rolling your eyes.

"I hope not," the Fan says before taking off.

Well gentlemen, you've got the rest of the day wide open so how are you going to spend it?

You return to your room and finish studying the basics of necromancy. The Shade seems overjoyed you now have enough theory down that he can begin teaching you spells.

You're really really tired, but you've got tributes left. Use them or just go to bed?
>>
>>2085323

Tribute AssCreed Origins, ask for Bayek's corpse.
>>
>>2085323
I want to try tributing Crysis 2 for CryNet Nanosuit 2.

this

fuck yeah, was thinking the same thing
>>
>>2085323

How many tributes do we have right now?
>>
>>2085347
You haven't used any, so 4.

Does the suit allow us to go into the vacuum of outer space for days?

I've some other ideas but we need to be able to go into space and be safe from being followed or watched first.

Two canisters fall into your hotel room, one enhancing your Shaping ability, the other enhancing your strength.

The strain of two substances dramatically altering your body and soul... one magical, one technological, proves too much for you, and you fall unconscious on the bed.
>Day 38 ends.

"Your appointment to FEMA should be finalized within the week, I've already discussed the matter with the senator."

"Has he been infected?"

"Oh yes. By the time I mentioned I could put him on the priority list for the Green Death vaccine he was so willing it was almost pathetic."

"This plague, the rioting is intensifying to the point where we may not be able to contain it..."

Static.

Nothing but static.

You wake up.

>Day 39 begins.
>>
>>2085569
Oh my.

Let's take a break from the necromancy for a bit. Ask the skull about closing up those holes in reality.
>>
>>2085585
>>2085569

While we are at it, we should get an update on how close the Saint's heart is to activating.
>>
>>2085598
"Based on the reactions I'm seeing, just a little over a week."

>>2085585
"Yes, I believe some higher spells interfacing with the fabric of time and space, properly modified of course, might do the trick," the Skull Mentor says. "Unfortunately you are far from being able to cast such magic..."
>>
>>2085634

Ask if the spells could performed more easily if we had more power to throw around, or more people casting in unison.
>>
>>2085648
"The secrets to performing advanced magic are the twin pillars of power and skill. So, yes, it would be easier, but you'd still need skill."
>>
>>2085634
"Guess I'd better get started then."

Any chance we can analyze our teleporter to get a jump start on space magic?
>>
>>2085663
The magic of the gate stone is beyond you. You're still only a novice Wild Mage after all.
>>
>>2085677
I hoped we'd cast flametongue enough to make apprentice by now.

Shit, did we ever go over that book of six spells? Learn all those.
>>
>>2085686
You've already learned how to Cause Fear, but the other spells are still beyond you.
>>
>>2085701
Ask the skull how to stop being a scrub.

Also call Alex up, and meet him to test the copy power. Maybe we need some rpg levels.
>>
>>2085701
ask the skull how to increase our magic powerlevel fast?
>>
Just an idea, we emulate doctor strange from marvel heroes omega.
hes the ultimate magician in marvel right?
he'd fix the holes and everything or at least give us a boost in learning magic.
>>
>>2085701

Omg can we find a place already. Please.
>>
>>2085725
a base?
>>
>>2085711
>>2085712
"Well, there are items I've heard of that can increase one's magical power... you already have amassed and used quite a few. Other than that, it's just study and experience."
>>
>>2085741
Ugh. We're gonna have to grind, aren't we.

Are we gonna meet with Alex or not? We should be able to get something with his stuff, most tabletops have a magic system.

Have we ever played any DnD?
>>
>>2085741

Call Alex, get an update on the spell to summon Masakado's Shadow.
>>
>>2085770
>>2085767
>>2085711
"Copy my power? Uh, sure, I guess you could try... It doesn't do anything bad to me, does it?" Alex asks. "Oh, yeah, I've got the spell ready. I'll need you to help me cast it though, it wasn't meant to be done by just one person. Ritual magic and all."

You remember you have played the occasional D&D game, but you never stuck with a campaign... you always got too distracted by whatever video game you were into at the time.
>>
Another thought occurs.
We could get the god pokemon from pokemon platinum.
boom, pokemon of time and space or arceus himself could fix everything
>>
>>2085805

We totally could get crazy powerful God pokemon, but I doubt QM will let us solve the quest that easily.

>>2085801

Review the controls for our COMP, make sure it is ready to accept a new demon.
>>
>>2085801
Sweet, we're already getting more magic exp.

Do >>2085821

Speaking of that post, try tributing pokemon platinum for one of the god tier pokemon. arceus, jirachi, dialga. Just to see what happens. For science!
>>
>>2085821
>>2085854
Your COMP is prepared.

So you're going to attempt to tribute without a specific thing in mind, but rather a general idea?
>>
>>2085894
I guess that's not such a hot idea. Tribute pokemon platinum for the Arceus we captured when we played it.
>>
>>2085910
Nothing happens.
>>
>>2085957
Guess we need to wait for the final tier first. When are we starting the ritual?
>>
well fuck you to ash.
guess we over reached.

whats the last tier do?
>>
>>2085957

Get ready to visit Alex. Give him a call, get a location set up, go there.
>>
>>2085971
>>2085982
We can open with the ritual next thread. Sorry for the short session, everyone, but thanks for playing. I'll be opening with the standard updated pastebin/thread tomorrow at around the usual time.
>>
>>2085975
ask for anything but its a 100% chance of getting it.
>>
>>2085984

See you there.

>>2085975

I don't think OP has said, but if it is what I think it is, I have a kickass way to use it!
>>
Can't wait til the watchers dead.

We can terraform and make a planet our new home.
>>
>>2085984
Thanks for running!

>>2085975
Probably not Ash's fault, it's more likely we can't get anything that exceeds Smiley in power. So Demonbane emulate is a no go.

We also might be able to tribute items from games we make ourselves now. We should try another simple game with a not too powerful item, like a novice guide to magic.
>>
>>2086004

Oh shit, do we have a way to terraform?

The Weeb can eat shit in his palace once we have a fucking planet all to ourselves!
>>
>>2086008
Ive been thinking up a plan for having our own planet as a base maybe fill it with shaped people.

For terraforming we might need to use up two charges for the technology and the materials. I was thinking sword of the stars and the sequal for it.

Its also why i was wondering about space suits and the usefulness of the Halo A.I.s .
A mentor for tech like the skull or necro mentors is much needed.
>>
>>2086021
I say if we terraform a planet, we tribute Metal Fatigue for a small squadron of Combots and a group of 4 hovercars with trained pilots.

Hovercars can build factories, barracks, bases, auto-turrets with the ability to link together to form walls, etc so long as they have a source of Lava to draw power from. In a bind even weak geothermal sources can provide some power. So basically all we need is a planet that is volcanically active and we can slap together a base with automated defense and factories that surpass any modern military. Also multiple bases are no problems, so its a great way to build infrastructure rapidly. Might be better games but this is an obscure one I know and if our plans are terraforming I would hate to lose such a useful tribute on just giant robos. I mean hell, the hovercars are more valuable if they contain all the necessary schematics.
>>
>>2086008
You should put up a throwaway email or some other way to resolve arguments with anons. I point at you because this isn't the first time, what with the Knight (and eerily) the Fan as well.
unless you're someone else, but I don't want to check.
That goes to you other anon who wanna fight about issues. Go get some contact info out. Reason? It floods the thread, more of an annoyance than anything, and it's generally more efficient. Thanks for your time.
>>
>>2086355
After a good deal of arguing already, I've realized it's pointless. He's going to do what he wants regardless of what's right or what's smart, and any events in the quest that prove him wrong he'll just ignore or deny they happened, even with a direct link to the QM post. Best we can do is just votw around him.
>>
>>2086355
>>2086455

I'm also of this mindset. He's obviously to sure of himself and thinks anyone who disagrees is an idiot. He also doesn't seem to understand what a roaming IP is or that more then one person can have one, so no info is going out on my end.

>>2085729

Yes a base. You wanna just live in this hotel forever? How long do you think its going to take to terraform a planet?
>>
>>2086355

I ignored this post when it came out.

>>2086455
>>2086489

But then two more popped up.

Why are you guys bringing up shit after the fact?
>>
>>2086489
Probably a year at minimum with just tech but we could probably rush it faster by shaping fast growing plants and shit.

I was thinking of skies of arcadia and asking for the biggest one man air ship vyse can spare plus getting a stealth generator from another game.
Though If the last tier is really that good we should wait so we can ask for the best airship, the delphinus.

Better to just tribute an eve ship or X: Beyond the Frontier.

Still need a way to fuel the space ships though.
Fuck, we could get the millennium falcon as an option
>>
>>2086929

The Phantom Class from Star trek online might be a great bet. Doesn't need much on fuel and has a cloaking device. Bonus.
>>
Online.
