Just under two months ago you were an ordinary shut-in gamer living in squalor and generally bearing a grudge against life in general. Now you're watching a D&D nerd turned modern day sorcerer-knight carve out a magic circle in an abandoned building for the purposes of summoning a demon that you accidentally let loose on the city.

You still bear a general grudge against life, but for far, far different reasons this time.

As you watch your armored ally draw intricate circles on the concrete floor of the cold, damp basement, your mind wanders a bit. Did you ever call your parents? That was a thought that crossed your mind the other day. Just too busy to do it, though. Hell, since all this started you've barely played any GAMES! You've just been trying to get fit, learn magic, and learn how to shoot.

Man, did it really take the impending end of the world to get you to exercise? That's a depressing thought, just jam it down there with the others... deep down where no one can ever find it...

Ah, that's better.

"Almost done?" you ask. Alex shakes his head.

"Ten minutes, this part sucks, but you don't want to see what happens if I fuck up," Alex replies. You sigh.

Well, this at least is an opportunity to go over what you plan to do in your head.

>Day 39
>Tributes: 4/4
>Emulation: 2/2

You will help Alex cast the ritual, find Masakado's Shadow, summon it here... and then what? Just ask it to jump into your Comp? Force it? Oh man, are you going to have to negotiate with it? What happens if it's hostile now?

>Last minute preparations and planning, gentlemen.
>>
>>2087709

>Masturbate, we'll need a clear mind for this
>>
>>2087709

Let's negotiate. We have a Quelaag's soul, that should probably be pretty enticing. Otherwise we have plenty of treasures to offer.
>>
>>2087768

No.
>>
>>2087774

I'll second this.
>>
>>2087774
>>2087790
Alex finally finishes the circle and stands opposite to you.

"OK. All you have to do is repeat the words I say a few seconds after I say them and channel your power into the circle... Uh, I guess that means you'd cast a spell on it. I'll start the chant, you start casting," Axel says, beginning a low, sonorous chant as you try to figure out what would work best on the circle...

>Pick a spell to cast onto the circle and roll a d100.

You infuse the magic circle with White Magic... and feel something fluctuate within you. Uncontrollable, like a twitch of a muscle, magic burns within you before bursting forth and empowering the portal within.

"Whoa, whoa, I said channel your power, not flood the circle!" Axel says, stopping his chant as the circle begins to glow with golden light. His eyes widen. "I stopped! I stopped early, it's not supposed to keep going!"

Electricity begins to crackle around the room as the glow grows brighter and brighter and you feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

"Abort! Abort!" Alex cries, waving his hands. "Stop powering the circle!"

"I'm not powering the circle!!!" you shout back.

"Then who's..."

A deafening boom and all is lost to incredibly brilliance, your eyesight going white for a few seconds before adjusting to the new light. A voice booms from the center of the room.

"WHAT HATH THOU WROUGHT, SON OF MAN?"
>>
Fuck.

Make certain we know who is talking before we answer.

Sounds like a Law demon.
>>
>>2088012

What did we just do? Summon God?

When your vision clears you see what looks like a great, metallic angel floating in front of you and Alex.

"I AM THE VOICE OF GOD. METATRON, WHO STANDETH BEHIND HIS THRONE. WHAT DRIVETH YE TO DRAW ME DOWN INTO THE BASE EARTH? SPEAK NOW!"
>>
>>2088097

Inform him that our world is at risk of being torn apart by powers like ours. Inform him that while we were not intending to summon him specifically, that we performed the summoning ritual to bring a being that may be able to help us restore and protect reality as we know it.

Do this all while groveling, and singing the Lord's praises.
>>
>>2088097

"Meta-ah! The fixer of boundaries Metatron right? Cause do I got a job for you."
>>
>>2088116
The tone of his voice changes subtly after you speak. While still booming, each word is no longer like an attack on your ears.

"YOUR WORLD IS INDEED BESET WITH CHAOS, SON OF MAN. I HAVE BORNE WITNESS TO THIS MYSELF. YET IN YOUR ARROGANT EFFORTS TO GRASP AT THE DIVINE, PROVIDENCE MAY BE FOUND. THROUGH THE POWER OF THE LORD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. DO AS I INSTRUCT, AND THE PLANET WILL KNOW PEACE SUCH AS IT HAS NEVER BEEN BLESSED BY."
>>
>>2088244

What is Alex doing as all of this is going on?
>>
>>2088244

Yeah...I smell some bullshit.

"Um, okay. What is it that you ask of me? I know angels don't muchly care for humankind, and I'm a bit pressed for time."
>>
>>2088265
He's quietly moved away from the circle and is watching the angel intently.

>>2088274
"THIS WORLD LIES IN A SHROUD OF CHAOS. THE LORD CAN RIP IT AWAY, BUT THE PLANET MAY NOT SURVIVE HIS POWER. TO SPARE THE RIGHTEOUS, THE FAITHFUL MUST PERFORM SACRED RITES AT SEVEN POINTS AROUND THE GLOBE. THIS WILL SHIELD THEM AGAINST HIS WRATH AS THE LAMB'S BLOOD PROTECTED THE HEBREWS AGAINST THE ANGEL OF DEATH IN EGYPT. THOSE TAINTED WITH THE DEMON'S POWER WILL TRY TO STOP YOU. YOU MUST DEFEAT THEM AS WELL."
>>
>>2088274

The catch is that mankind must give up free will at the end. This is SMT Metatron. No bullshit, only law.
>>
So i was reading up on SMT wikia and i found this.

Law

This alignment is associated withGod, order and peace. In the game, it is represented by theMessianreligion and the colors blue and white. The Law alignment promotes order and safety, but taken to an extreme, it leads to dictatorship and elitism. The main goal of the Law factions in the game is to establish the Thousand Year Kingdom, a paradise on Earth ruled over by God. The truth is that only a select few who are judged worthy would be allowed to live in theThousand Year Kingdomwhile everyone else would be killed. Those who do live in the Thousand Year Kingdom would be subjected to its strict, absolute laws.

Lol, humanity is gonna get the shaft if we listen to him and establish "peace".
>>
Sounds like we should catch him instead of taking his deal then
>>
>>2088317

"Whoa whoa whoa, what demon and who are it's followers? I just explained I don't have time to go globe trotting. And you're telling me God intends to wipe out humanity? Tell me true!"

I'm thinking we should emulate him and use his power to close the holes
>>
>>2088356
I think we should pretend to agree to his deal then spam the copy beam at him till we get his powers to close holes. Then tell him to fuck off.
>>
>>2088380
>>2088356
>>2088351
>>2088339

Guys, I totally agree, we should not do what he wants us to do. However, this Metatron is more than likely an end boss. We are not equipped to handle him unless we get Masakado's Shadow on our side, so lets not do something that will anger him.

Let's pretend to be totally in to Metatron's ideas at the moment, and we can deal with him another time. Better yet, find some way to sic him on the Watcher, let those two go at it while we quietly slip away.
>>
>>2088392
oh hell yeah, we can tell him that he's the greatest enemy to saving the world and, the part that might enrage him into tracking and killing him, the he calls himself a god and seeks to rule the world.
>>
>>2088392
i don't know, we got the angel halo and can emulate some angel slaying character to bring him down.
>>

I would be most grateful if you would reveal his location so that he may face judgement for consorting with demons. O mighty Metatron, would you lend us your strength? I fear that the watcher may yet again escape from his punishment but with you around, I believe he shall not be able to elude us.

Alright, apologize to Alex for not mentioning we were a Wild mage, then phone up the Fan and tell her to join us in Moscow.
>>
I feel like lending him the skull mentor to teach alex magic was enough to get across that we were a mage.
Aside from that, i thought we were gonna take care of the watcher, with alex, while super girl kept looking for ways to fix the reality rifts.
>>
>>2089169

Fuck, he's sticking around. Shit.

Guys we need a way to take down Metatron. Based on the SMT games we have tributed, this version of Metatron is most likely weak to electricity, but can give himself a buff that reflects all non-almighty magic damage. So we could maybe beat him if we could find a non-magical way to deal insane amounts of electrical damage.
>>
>>2089389

REC Gun might do the trick. Emulating a Summoner and casting Ramuh would definitely do the trick.
>>
>>2089485

REC gun can't even kill humans, it might tickle Metatron. You're on to something with that summon though. Stack that with something that can do meta-magic to really lay down the pain.
>>
How about a few legendary electric pokemon?
Zapdos and Reikou

We've also still got the first 2 megami tensei games to draw on don't we?
>>
>>2089561

If we are looking into legendary electric pokemon, we should probably look into physical attackers.

Tapu Koko, Zeraora and Zekrom/Black Kyurem look like they fit the bill the best. Special mention to Tapu Koko for nature's madness halving health on each use, and to Black Kyurem for having 170 base attack stat.
>>
>>2089377
Not just a mage, a WILD mage.

Why do you think the spell messed up?
>>
>>2089389
>non-magical way to deal insane amounts of electrical damage
Yithian lightning cannon from Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Ancient advanced technology that is effective against otherworldly horrors of all kinds and doesn't run out of ammo.
>>

You draw on Kirby's essence to analyze and morph your own to match part of Metatron's essence and instantly you feel different, power welling up within you as your thoughts clear and your mind grow sharper. You rise and Metatron nods to you, vanishing a moment later.

"Well... that didn't go like I thought it would..." Axel murmurs. "What was... up with that angel? He didn't feel... He didn't seem like I thought a Celestial would be. Or even something right from the old Sunday school."

"He is Metatron, voice of the Lord," you tell him. "He is a stern judge of mankind, but faithful servant of the most high." You shake your head. "Anyway. Sorry about not telling you I was a wild mage."

"Maybe it's my fault for not asking, when you said mage, I just sorta assumed you were the normal variety spellcaster, not... uh..." Axel trails off. "Alex, have you ever played as a wild mage before? I haven't, but I know people who have. That shit can get off the rails fast..."

"Well we did just summon Heaven's second in command," you point out. Alex winces.

"I guess that warning's a little late, then. So what now?"

"Now we contact the Fan and let her know we've got our target in Moscow," you say, pulling out your phone.

By the end of the day, you're booked first class on your way to Sheremetyevo International Airport, courtesy of the boys and girls at Durango. To one side of you sits Alex, in normal clothes for once as he stares out the plane window, getting a big kick out of seeing the world from up high. To your other side is the Fan, who flips through a stack of comic books and graphic novels that is going to make it VERY difficult to go to the bathroom when you'll feel the need.

"Why couldn't we just get a private jet," you mumble.

"Looks suspicious," the Fan mutters, flipping through an issue of Spiderman and wincing. "Christ I wish they'd give poor Pete to someone other than Slott. This is almost painful."

"Is it more suspicious than the three of us, who I'm sure are people of interest, all getting on a plane together?" you ask. "We should've just used my Gate Stone to go."

"I'm pretty sure he's got some magic chops, bro. Big level magic like that Gate Stone is going to leave a signal when you use it," Alex nods. "But there's no way he knows a friggin' angel told on him."

"The Watcher's pretty arrogant from what little interaction I had with him, probably thinks we'd never stoop to public transportation, even if it is first class," the Fan says, turning another page. "This way is a little longer, but it's way safer."

Your grumble something and shift in your seat, settling in for a long ride. It's not all bad. This is time you can use to plan, and you're secure in the knowledge that your gear is safely stowed and secured with special permit. Another permit marks you as uninfected, allowing you access to the nation's airports on one of the very few flights still running. Even then, you can probably expect a heavy and unpleasant screening when you land by the Russian authorities, searching for any trace of the Green Death.
>>
>>2092122
It's pretty sweet having Durango behind us.

Anyone speak Russian or is the Fan gonna emulate Starfire and kiss some guy?

>>
We could try tribute ing the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy text game and ask for a Babel fish translator thing
>>
>>2092150
"I have a spell that can translate languages, so we should be good," Alex nods. "Worst comes to worst, if we need another speaker, then the Fan can just kiss me, right? Or does it have to be a language you know naturally?"

The Fan gives Alex an incredulous look.

"I am not blowing my Starfire emulation to learn a language by kissing a guy, that's a huge waste," the Fan says, going back to her comic book.

"No, I'm just saying if there's an emergency, we can-"

"No."

"OK, OK, I'm just saying it's an option," Alex says, crossing his arms. "I've got a few other tricks that should work anyway, no reason to get so worked up about it."

"Hey, speaking of which, what am I supposed to call you in public anyway?" you ask her. "I never got your name."

It's not hard to borrow a newspaper when the shots are ordered for everyone... you become pretty popular by doing that. There's not much to read about that you don't already know, except you do notice a few things that seem noteworthy... or at least out of place. First off is continued unrest due to the Green Death. Countries are demanding the U.S.A. hand over its knowledge of the cure, some coming close to veiled threats of military action. The U.S.A. in turn, is demanding concessions ranging from the strict to the severe in exchange for its knowledge. They seem to be quite determined to retain strict control over the cure. The United Nations is mediating with limited success.

The Cult of Kek has made its first public announcement, claiming that the great Kek is coming to return the world to its natural state of chaos in sixty days. There is no stopping this, but the faithful will be shielded from the effects of the apocalypse, and live as kings on the earth, served by whatever they can imagine. They promise a world of absolute freedom, where the survivors will be able to call on the whirling chaos that will surround them to provide whatever they wish. The response to this statement has been what you expect, except that many desperate people, infected by the Death, or feeling the effects of the Death are flocking to the Cult's banner.

In fact, there are a few articles on the shockwaves the plague is sending through society. Without people to man the machines, most industries are struggling to maintain production. Blackouts are common as power plants try to keep up with power demand at half staff or worse. Hospitals are overcrowded. The paralysis of international shipping and hoarding by survivalists has driven food prices through the roof in some areas. Emergency service crew response times are abysmal as more and more personnel get infected. The list goes on.

Finally, for some bizarre reason, there is a full page ad for something called "Fight Milk." There's a picture of a crow-man or something on a bottle. Weird.

Your reading is interrupted by an argument between Collette and Alex.

"Just sayin', Batman's always been overrated," Alex mumbles, drink in hand. There are more than a few empty shot bottles on his tray-table. "Prep-time this, and anti-whatever spray that... he's a rich kid with PTSD, thas' all."

"You're an idiot," Collette murmurs. There aren't as many bottles on her table, but more than a few. "Batman can be good if you find th' right book. What about 'The Killing Joke?"

"Even I read 'The Killing Joke," Alex says, rolling his eyes. "You gotta go with how the majority of th' stuff is written, not cherry pick a few examples..."

You frown. Did you order a round of shots, or just say the drinking bill was on you? Oh well, whatever. It's only money.

>You may continue to interact or skip to next scene at this point.

>"Batman was good before he was made into batgod because of popularity."
>>
>>2092849
"That's what I'm saying!" Alex says, waving a hand. "He wins whether or not it makes any damn sense! If the hero can't fail, there's no reason to be engaged!"

"He fails all the time, what about..."

"Don't bring up his parents again, that doesn't count!"

>>2092851

"Oh the cure is a compound of chemicals in exact ratio to each other that sabotages the Green Death's ability to mask itself from the body's immune system," Collette says. "It basically forces the body to recognize the virus and take action. It also shuts down the plague's ability to... I guess you'd say 'adapt' within its host? I'd have to burn an emulation to explain it, it's all fuzzy to me now that I'm not super smart. The booze isn't helping either."

"So how do you make it?" you asks. Collette shrugs.

"I custom designed a bunch of machines based on the information we got to create new compounds just for the cure. We're making more machines, but it's going to be slow going until our production pipeline is rolling... even then it takes a while to make a batch of the stuff."

>>
>>2092931
Collette winces. "My tributes... are generally pretty weak. I specialize in emulation." She pauses. "I did read the Ghostbusters comics though. I can probably pull something from there."

"There's stuff I can pump up my sword with if I can get into melee," Alex says. "More than a few spells that can put the hurt on him too. I just underestimated his resilience last time."
>>
>>2092941

Hey guys, we should probably drop the Metatron copy after we defeat The Watcher, if not before. It seems like it might be infecting us with Law. Seriously, sooner rather than later on this one. We probably won't be able to inform Alex or Collette of the truth of Metatron until we do.

Did we get a new pastebin for the new thread? I wanna check what tributes we've done before making new ones.
>>
>>2093106
I want to spend time with the shade to learn how to absorb ghosts. Tribute dota for Linken's Sphere.

Do we still have the pacman's pallet?

Pacman's pallet and the mortal kombat emulation together would make it easy to absorb him.
>>
>>2093136
Oh shit that's right, I forgot I tribute pacman for that.

Yeah we're set.
>>
>>2093106

Stuck on plane, look towards stars

>Tribute Star Trek Online, power tier four for in game tier 6: Phantom Class. With luck it'll come with at least a skeleton crew that can beam us down a Universal Translator/Comm device when we get a moment alone.

Engage that cloak and high standard orbit please. Also sensor around it and see if anything else is out there.
>>
>>2093117
I thought I posted it. Oh well. Here it is.

UPDATED PASTEBIN: https://pastebin.com/8FTZa6Ke

>>2093140
>>2093136
You do have the pellet still.
>>
>>2093154
Tribute a mage character we made in skyrim. Aim for as many scrolls as possible. Don't do it in public so everyone stares at the paper from nowhere.
>>
>>2093106

Give our shiny newly boosted shaper powers a stretch, make a nimble, deadly poisonous spider that can understand orders.

Tribute Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, ask for Yveltal (which was pokemon bank'd from Y, add that one). It should be trained for Special attack and HP as its EVs, and know Shadow Ball, Oblivion Wing, Foul Play, and Dark Pulse.

Dark is strong vs ghost. Foul Play uses the foe's physical attack in case The Watcher pulls fucking Hercules or something, and Oblivion Wing can provide additional heals if Yveltal needs it.

Here's hoping that it works, since its not Pokemon literal God.
>>
>>2093228
>>2093154

In an appropriate pokeball to contain it, of course.
>>
>>2093143
This is a great idea but its a bad time to do it is all.

add and tribute pokemon red and ask for a zapdos in a pokeball
>>
>>2093235

Why? That's 4/4 tributes while stuck on a plane and a valuable piece of hardware.
>>
>>2093252
>stuck on a plane
Im a bit distracted but that seems like it'll end badly is all.

If you want a translator though then i'd recommend the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy remake for the babel fish translator
>>
>>2093267
I do need to know if you are doing this or not.
>>
>>2093269
I'll support it
Polygot a good skill to have
>>
>>2093269

Let's not do any tributes until we are situated, we don't want to draw unnecessary attention to the flight.
>>
>>2093269
Are you talking about the star trek tribute? I don't support it. It will wreck the plane we are on.

>>
>>2093321
Well you got that vote in just in time. Tribute denied for now.

You make it to the safehouse without further incident and while the others get situated in their rooms you immediately set about using your tributes for the day.

>>2093171
>Skyrim: Bag of Scrolls

>>2093228
>Pokemon: Alpha Sapphire: Pokeball with Yveltal in it.

>>2093235

Unfortunately it's very late. You won't have time to Shape today, but you can always try it tomorrow if that's what you want to be doing.

>>2093330
>Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Babelfish.

It is unbelievably gross to feel the Babelfish slide into your ear and lodge there. However, the knowledge that no language is safe for you now makes it worth it.
>>
>>2093338
Where muh dota tribute op?
>>
>>2093342
Alright, any spare time we have before sleeping, use it to study those scrolls. Novice tier spells in particular, try and learn them.

After tributing and getting everything put away, there isn't any time.

And that goes for tonight's session as well.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so there won't be a set session, but I'll throw up an update here and there.

Thanks for playing!
>>
>>2093330

I just have to ask why was it a no on the ship? If your reasoning is it'll make another hole in reality, who cares? That's why we copied Megatron in the first place, to close up holes.

I ain't mad, there's other days to tribute stuff, just wondering where your heads are at to completely ignore a helpful space-based weapons platform when we're about to go into combat with our (so far) biggest pain in the ass enemy.

Truly consider a betrayal from one of our "companions" during this battle. "Oh vat a twist!"
>>
>>2094004

Metatron. Apparently Megatron is far more popular.
>>
>>2094004
Shadowrunning is no fun anon
>>
>>2094004

I can't speak for everyone, but for me at least, I was against tributing while on flight, because I was worried we might collide with the ship or else leave the spacecraft behind with no way of getting back to it.
>>
>>2094004
Just didn't seem like the right time for it.
Best time is when we're actually planing to leave the system. God forbid someone stumbles onto it while we're doing something else. Really unlikely i know but i'd rather be cautious.
Like i said, its a fucking brilliant idea but we don't need it for the watcher. Unless we were planing to fly with it to moscow from the beginning and its too late for that.
>>
>>2094157
Also, we should start pumping out a few smart crew members for it with our shaping abilities first.
Don't want to wrongly assume its staffed and not have anyone to crew it when we tribute it.
Could get confiscated by government or attacked by someone with people and money while we're stuck with our pants on the ground.
>>
Okay. All valid arguments. Happy Thanksgiving fellas.
>>
Sessions resume tomorrow at around the usual time. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.
>>
>Day 40
>All powers at full.

You wake up in the safehouse feeling refreshed and rested for the first time in a while. A good thing too, considering your mission here is to find and stop the Watcher.

The question now is how do you intend to go about it?
>Be forewarned today will be a short session.

It takes the rest of the day, but you laboriously manage to breathe enough magic into the vague mold of mud to transform it into an attractive elf with light brown skin and silver hair. Given your still limited reserves of magic, you only manage to imbue her with the ability for minor cantrips, but it's better than nothing.

She opens her eyes and looks over to you. "Master?"

It occurs to you at this point you should probably get her some clothes before one of the house's other occupants stumbles in here. Oh, and figure out what you are gonna tell the others.
>>
>>2107801
ok, let's make her genderless to avoid any complications and accusations

then give it one of our spare sets of clothes

why did we do this again

anyway do >>2107767
see if we can't hack find the Watcher
>>
>>2107801
oh no, give her your spare clothes for now. We can't bring her out because of the knife ears. Study some more while we wait for the knight and the fan to report back their findings regarding the watcher.
>>
>>2107815
You want to alter her gender? Roll a d100.

Your efforts to find the Watcher through electronic espionage do not bear fruit. There are no really big movie purchases in local hotels.

You go to call your parents. No one picks up and it goes to voicemail. That's odd... they're usually good about picking up.

>>2107819
She's a little confused, but you manage to dress her up in your spare clothes for now. They're a bit tight on her, but oh well.
>>
>>2107842
Don't alter her gender yo. Ask her what cantrips can she do?
>>
>>2107842
Also contact arnie and order him to check on our parents discreetly.

She blinks. "I...don't know, really? Oh... I think... I think I can make a little light, and make a gust of wind... maybe make something float if it's not too heavy."

>>
>>2107865

Have SkellyMaster look her over, maybe he can teach her some shit, or at least strengthen what she has.
>>
God damnit you guys, we're here to fight the Watcher. There'll be time for Build-a-Waifu later.
>>
>>2107920

Well until Alex and Colette get back how do we do that? We could possibly burn our Metatron copy to see where there's holes around us but that's wasteful imho
>>
>>2107920
We are giving her something to do so she becomes more useful down the road. Plus the others are already looking for the watcher. we just need to focus on learn the necromancy spell to absorb ghosts.
>>
>>2107924
One anon suggested hacking local hotel databases to look for unusually high numbers of movie rentals, so we could try to help find him that way. If we're intent on shaping, lets make a minion that can be a meatshield for whatever horror gets thrown at us, rather than a frail long term investment that no one will want to risk.
>>
>>2107875
>>2107877
"I shall take the utmost care with your newest servant, master," the skull says, eyes gleaming. "Now, child, open the book to page twenty three..."

"Shouldn't I start at the beginning?" your elf asks. The skull scoffs.

"Only if you want a boorish and plebian introduction by a gasbag of a reptile that considered himself a great magician."

"That sounds interesting!"

"Just go to page twenty three..."

The door to your room bursts open thanks to a smiling Alex.

"Great news, man! I foun-oh, what?" he blinks as he looks at the new edition, clothed in ill-fitting hand-me-downs, browsing through a dragonhide book under tutelage of a talking skull. She smiles and waves.

"Ooookaaaay," Alex says. "So I used my crystal ball and found him. Sort of. It took me a while, but I figured out where he is, and what he's doing." Alex pauses. "You aren't going to like it."

"Why, what's going on?" you ask. Alex winces.

"He's sort of possessing Vladimir Putin."

>>
>>2107961
So uhh I wanted give the skull mentor a capable magical assistant to help with his research to close the holes and this is the result.

So Alex have you told the fan about putin yet? We need to have a plan to infiltrate the Kremlin non-violently.
>>
>>2107980
>>2107947
Sorry wrong quote
>>
>>2107920
Dude we just created a minor magic caster, so what if she becomes a waifu later. She is still a useful minion, like an upgraded Igor or a birb with tits and magic instead of wings. Tits have their own power to gather information.

>>2107865
>Also for explaining new Elf to others just say "I tributed one of my games that I had completed a few times. Got one of my evil run throughs though and ended up with Elf-slav-what-do situation. No biggy tho.
>>
>>2107947
>>2107961
>>2107993
I still think my idea to explain her as an "Elf slav what do" situation due to accidentally tributing from an evil run through of some fantasy game.

That way we dont freak them out, Flesh-Crafting can easily seem like a very evil power that is ripe for abuse. I'm not normally one for telling lies, but this is a big fucking deal.

We just pulled a move straight out of the Bible, and kind of one of if not the biggest miracle in the entire book. We crafted a person from clay and breathed life into them. We literally just created the Elf version of Adam, but as a chick. We just created a brand new species from dirt.

This might not seem as big a deal if it is a tribute result, but if we let them know this is one of our base powers that requires no tribute and will stay with us at all times no matter what we emulate.... The fact we hold the power to create life as just a basic part of our state of being is enough to freak anyone out.
>>
>>2108015
Also, gonna say due to how our attempts at stealth have usually ended badly I am more than willing to discuss this and be convinced otherwise about coming clean with our fleshcrafting.

I am not one of the argument anons that regularly hijack our threads after all.
>>
>>2108015
>>2107993
Well I don't mind keeping our shaper powers a secret. Our allies don't really need to know about it at all. Its not gonna to be useful in a combat situation when we go confront the watcher. Plus it could indeed create misunderstandings.

I support your idea of not telling them.
>>
>>2108020

Well, I really don't care either way, as long as our allies don't think we are a total pervert.

I will note however, that it shouldn't be terribly hard to keep our Shaping a secret, so long as we don't have any more mishaps like this. How could they prove otherwise? I mean sure, they could find out that we are lying about elf girl's origin through lie detector powers, but that still doesn't tell them that we literally shaped new life from base earth over the course of a day.
>>
>>2107947
Well today didn't go quite as planned.

Terribly sorry for the late session, gents. You get a free reroll as an "I'm sorry." Now then.

>>2111533
Oh right, belay that d100, you're out of Shaping for the day because of the elf.

It occurs to me that you made an elf in Russia. She was born on Russian soil. Elf slav. What do?
>>
>>2111533
Not yet. I am willing to defer to Colette's boss in this one. He is supposed to be the brain's behind her right?

Is Putin/watcher still on his bed recovering or is he alright now. Do we know his exact location?

Touch base with Alex and Colette, see if they have any plans now that we've located Watcher and Colette has hopefully calmed down.
>>
>>2112869
You get yourself showered and clothed in short order and go downstairs... to the smell of pancakes?

Colette is in the kitchen in front of several pans sizzling with various flavors of flapjacks. Alex and two of the Durango staffers are seated at the table, stuffing their faces.

"Alex, you gotta try these! These blueberry pancakes are out of this world!" Alex gets out despite having a mouthful of pancakes.

"What is going on here?" you ask, a little taken aback. Colette flips two of the pans, sending pancakes into the air and back into the pan before putting them on a plate. Her expression looks similar to that of soldiers you saw that survived the Bataan Death March.

"When I feel extremely upset, I cook things. The sounds and smells of fresh food relax me and remind me of better times," Colette says, assembling another breakfast platter.

"You don't seem very relaxed," you note. Colette's eyes narrow.

"You should've seen me three platters ago," Colette says. "Anyway, eat these damn pancakes and then we're coming up with a plan. I already figure we need someone to dedicate to taking on the Watcher, another to take on whatever he summons, and probably a third to take care of any Russian government types that blunder into the battle zone. The Durango boys can't help with this. If they're seen, I hope you boys like Fallout Live Edition."

"That might be co-"

"Shut up."
>>
>>2112906
I love the Fallout series! Except 4.

I think Knight is best suited to kill The Watcher, and I'm the best suited to deal with any minions he summons. Can you deal with the Russian government types?

Also, are you ok with being seen? Haven't you appeared publicly with the head of Durango? I guess you could emulate Mystique or some other shapeshifter.
>>
>>2112915
"Yeah, I'm trying to decide between shapeshifter or just a plain old mask," Collette says, tossing the rest of the dishes into the sink and grabbing herself a stack of chocolate chip pancakes. "I'll figure it out. If you want minion duty that's fine by me. I'll burn Daredevil or someone really good at knocking people out non-lethally."
>>
>>2112952

Pass Alex the Power Pellet. He may need it if he's going up against The Watcher directly. Make sure he knows what it is.

Pour our daily Shaping into Charizard.

Can anyone think of some particularly exotic weapons suitable for getting around bullshit defenses? Now is the time to tribute for them.

Are we busting out the Madcats Mech?
>>
>>2112952
So when and where are we gonna execute this plan?
>>
>>2112958
I'll second this

For defense piercing weapons, we have the black blade and the angel halo.
>>
>>2112952
While we are shaping our pokemon and preparing for battle.

Give the Grang Griph the Scouter and the Neuralyzer and get her to study both of it and then explain its unknown functions to us. Give her the MiB sunglasses as well.

Task the elf with feeding the Cute fairy with filling food every few hours and collect all the seeds that result and then separate it according to fruits/vegetables/strange/gem/magic/herb/artefacts seeds. She can ask the skull for help with this.

Fruits and vegetable are common.
Strange seeds slightly less common than fruits/vegetables.
Gem and magic are uncommon.
Herb and artefact are rare.

Any free time the elf has is to learn some magic form the fairy as well. Learn the Nether Eye spell if she can.

Also contact Arnie and ask about the task we given him. Ask if Igor and the cats has returned as well.
>>
>>2112970

Anything ranged or that can be used on multiple at once? I fully expect that The Watcher has a small squadron of minions in preparation for an event like this.
>>
>>2112977
We got the Megidola that we copied from Megatron to deal almighty damage to all ememies.
>>
>>2112962
"Well that's another thing we have to figure out," Alex says through a mouthful of pancake. "When and where best to strike."

The rest of the preparations are made in short order. Are you keeping your Tributes in reserve or using them ahead of time?
>>
>>2113032
Reserve for sure. We already have a shitload of equipment. Blades and the RYNO from R&C. Better to be ready for something situational.
>>
>>2113032

Not sure we got the sleep spell in yesterday(?) If not finish that up.

>Do we get to use shape life twice a day or is it just a more powerful one time use?
>>
>>2113060
It's two charges, but some things require 2 charges, like making sentient life from nothing.

"Can I get a day or two to learn some spells? Might come in handy," you ask. Colette frowns.

"The longer we wait the more we risk. One day shouldn't be too bad though. Two is a little worse."

>One more full day of study with the Spectre will let you learn the Rebuke Undead ability. It will probably also take a full day to learn a sleep spell. You're burning a Final Fantasy for that, yes?
>>
>>2113117
Spending one day to rebuke undead is okay but learning mass sleep is kinda redundant for now when Colette is handling the government goons.
>>
>>2113125

Agreed. Skip the sleep spell for now and get our rebuke on.
>>
>>2113117
Rebuke in case there are undead minions or we need to help Alex. We can skip sleep for now.

About that Batman Emulation to improve our plans and make best use of the tools at our disposal. Also figuring out what media Watcher is drawing the ghost powers from.
>>
>>2114879
Emulating Batman for a few hours, you pour through listings of movies and television shows before you conclude that the Watcher is NOT emulating his power... Rather, much like yourself, he probably has used his abilities to permanently grant himself powers in some fashion. Given his preference for the horror genre, it is likely he has made some sort of dark pact or amassed some occult treasure trove he uses in the same way as your own collection of treasures. Finally, given the bizarre dream you had weeks ago, you believe his power is somehow connected to the television series Twin Peaks.

As Batman, you gain four Bat-Insights to use when planning the attack. These Bat-Insights can be used to answer questions about the viability of certain actions and will be used automatically if you plan something I know will be catastrophically foolish. You get one freebie, and that's that Batman is absolutely certain the Watcher will be using his lack of death to the fullest, and Putin is probably expendable to him. Expect death traps and self-destruct failsafes.

>The QM has given up on trying to make a Bat-worthy plan and is using this alternative instead.

Kind of lonely in this thread right now. I'm drawing a blank on the plan.

Fine. Let me throw some ideas out there.

Attack Putin in his home, use Colette to take down the guards in our way. Alex, with us as backup to take down any reinforcements, suddenly and swiftly force feeds him the Power Pellet. Abuse Invisibility to get in and out. Colette can stealth with her emulations.

How likely is this plan to work?

One Bat-Insight is used to tell you the following:
>Attacking Putin's home is probably going to make it much harder to keep this a covert operation. It'd be better if you could get him in an isolated, less public location. His home isn't going anywhere, so this is a viable backup if a better location isn't found.

>Alex should probably eat the Power Pellet, not Putin since the pellet gives the power to eat ghosts in the game.

How figuring out putin's schedule then attacking him while he in traveling enroute. We could create a sudden unexpected blockage in his usual route then when they are forced to stop, we jump in and attacks Putin's convoy. We could also use the gate stone and just bumrush him instead of moving normally to bypass all his protection as well.

One Bat-Insight is used to tell you the following.
>Attacking him while on the move will bypass the possibility of entrenched defenses, but will increase the number of Russian government agents you'd have to face, as well as necessitating finding out when he's travelling. However, given the trouble entrenched defenses could give you, and the slight possibility the Watcher MIGHT restrain himself a bit in public in order to better preserve his plans and identity... this plan has a lot of potential.

Shit guys, my Wikipedia skills have told me that the possession ghost thing he does through twin peaks is the result of demonic magic. Not sure if our anti ghost measures will work. They might, as only demons were able to do it in the twin peaks show, so he might have needed to jury rig it together with a ghost power to be able to use it as a human.

Anyway, I figure Colette can emulate a hacker like Micro and get any travel plans and routes. We definitely want to ambush him on the road somewhere isolated.

I still support us for the summons, Col for the humans, and Alex for the Watcher, as the Knight has the best stuff to deal with both ghosts and demons.

So yeah, have Col hack up his next travel plans, ambush him on the most isolated part of the route with the three of you, and each of us takes on our assigned enemy. Col will probably finish up quick and can emulate dr strange or dr fate to help Knight out.

Go to teammates with this information and plan if Batsight doesn't turn up major flaws.

Perhaps it's all the talk of Batman, but Colette emulates Oracle in order to hack into a few choice Russian agencies in an attempt to determine Putin's schedule. Alex supports by using his crystal ball. Between the two of them, you should have what you need for this plan...

And with that, we're done for the night. I'll start next thread with the operation on Sunday around the usual time.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for running!

That Batman emulation was a godsend. I never even heard of twin peaks.
