You are Ushi Walker, the half-japanese/half-american wielder of the mighty quirk “Everything is Bigger in Texas", U.A High first year student and winner the twenty feet sushi roll in twenty minutes challenge, which is how you got the white box you are carrying over your shoulder as you unlock your house's door.

>"Come on, show me!" Mina insists for the I'mnotcountingth time, hovering around Kirishima and his plastic bag. "You bought that thing half an hour ago, on a videobooth! On movie night! Why are you even hiding it!?"
>"We are about to start, you can wait a few more minutes for a surprise." He replies, keeping away a white bag. "We should be set up for movie night in a bit, right Walker?"
"Right, right, I just got to…" You turn the key and open the door, poking your head inside and looking for Momma.

The place is nice and tidy, with the ever present smell of green tea that makes you lock yourself in your room... Oh there she is, sitting by the kotatsu.

She's sipping a cup of tea and wearing a brown sweater and gray sweatpants, her regular housewear, as she flips the pages on a magazine

"Howdy Mom." You greet her, stepping in. "I brought take-out"
>"Heya honey" She greets you back in kind, giving you a once-over. "Binge eatin' already?"
"Competitive eatin' actually" You tell her showing her the box. "I even won something!"
>"...Of course you did." She says with a chuckle. "What's it?"
"...No idea, I have yet to open it." You answer, before hearing someone come in through the door behind you.

>"...Right, you mentioned company." She says, leaning to the side and looking behind you. She then raises an eyebrow and looks at you funny. "...You work fast."

Turning around you see Kirishima standing by the door, looking around.

"Over here! Come say hi to my mom!" You call him, waving your arms. "Don't worry about your shoes, I'll clean later."
>"Sure." He comes over and bows his head a bit before looking up. "I'm Kirishima Eijiro, I attend school with your daughter, Mrs. W-Woah."

He quickly yawns and stretches.
>"Sorry Mrs. Walker."

Momma leaves her cup on the kotatsu and stands up, looming over both of you before bowing back and takes Kirishima's hand for .

>"So… is this short shorts-spiky or magic fingers-spiky?" Mom suddenly asks, without releasing his hand.
"Mwha?" *Magic fingers?*
>"Magic fingers for sure! Daisy wouldn't be that formal." Mina answers, barging in both into the room and into the conversation. "Ashido Mina, by the way. Nice to meet'cha!"
>"...friends, uh. That's better." Mom says, letting go of Kirishima's hand. "Well, nice to meet you both, but what are y'all doing here"
"We are going to watch some movies in the living room." You explain. "Like, two."
>"I guess I should make myself scarce, then." She says. "Have fun you three."

With that, she takes her cup and magazine and goes upstairs.
>>
"You know, I think you are the first person I've met to not flinch at mom's handshakes." You tell Kirishima.
>"It's kinda my thing." He says, then taps his hands together. Clank
>"She's huge." Mina suddenly points out the obvious.
"Yeah. I hope to be as big as her one day." You say, before adding. "Naturally, not with my quirk."
>"Well… You are on track" Kirishima assures you.
"I still have some springs on me, but I'm still a shortie" You reply, placing a hand on the top of your head, as if to measure your height.
>"Ooh." Both of them say, for some reason.
>"You know, I thought she'd be wary of Eiji." Mina says, mimicking revving up a bike above her horns.
"Nah. She's used to-"
>"But don't have too much fun, ya hear?" Comes mom's voice from the second floor. "I'm talking to you boy! I have an ear on the floor!"

"I'll get the movie player running." You say, running away from the awkward.

After trying to figure out what was the rectangular slot for on the universal player, the rest of the evening you spend watching acidic monsters slaughter humans before being slaughtered back by mankind's marvels of engineering.
Turns out that Kirishima's surprise was 'an old classic' of his liking, the first Pacific Rim.

The other high point was watching Mina root for Leatherback and then show the two of you 'how it was done' with the help of your quirk and tiny robot.

...It's less impressive when on a coffee table and not allowed to melt the robot, but still cool, as she contained herself to just melting off the green paintjob, but still tumbled the bot down the table with her fists, so you chalk it off as her victory.

Eventually as the night crawls in, you send your two classmates home.

"Take care you two!" You say, hugging both of them. "I'll see you tomorrow."
>"Hey, before we leave..." Kirishima says as you let go of him. "I just want to say I'm sorry for the... horn thing. They really look like made by a master craftsman, too smooth to be naturally grown. I hope you can forgive me?"

He stands there waiting for your answer for a few seconds.

Fuck, you have to reply!

"...S-Sure! I'm not one to hold grudges anyway!" You say, scratching the back of your neck in your best attempt at being nonchalant about it.
>"Well, that's a great line!" Mina says, clapping. "But let's go before you fuck up and leave with a hoof imprint on your ass. Seeya tomorrow Ushi!"
>"Good bye!" Kirishima says as they walk away.
>>
You wait until they are out of sight to start your nightly routine, wish mom a good night, and drop dead on your bed.

As wednesday starts, you feel like having a nice, slow day.
...You didn't get much sleep, having to run to the downstairs bathroom every two hours, so half-dozing off on the train sounds like a perfect way to start your day.

Which is why you are a bit surprised at the green haired boy a few seats over, his eyes practically glued to his phone's screen.

"You know, I thought she'd be wary of Eiji." Mina says, mimicking revving up a bike above her horns.
"Nah. She's used to-"

This interests me, here mina jokes that ushi's mom should have been wary of Eiji because he looks like a biker thug, but ushi's reply is dismissive and starts to refer to her mothers past, this to me makes me belive that her mother might have a past with biker gangs as either a member or as opposition to one.
>>
>>2100910
Also did Ushi's mom really assume these two were anything BUT friends? If she did, how much of a slut does she think Ushi can be?
>>
>>2100940
As much of a slut that she was(and may still be), we're also a Midnight fan girl which doesn't do us any favours
>>
>>2100955
Wait, has Ushi gotten laid before? Or is it just the flirting thing?
>>
>>2100910
Well mom did liked the tall handsome men type. Makes me wonder how the hell dad manage to date her.

Just the flirt thing o guess? Maybe we went in a couple of dates but never allowed nothing more then first base and some cuddling. Only two manage to touch the cow.
>>
>>2100992
Then why did dear old mother see a boy and girl guest and instantly give the side-eye? I'm just sorta confused.
>>
>>2101011
She gave us the side eye until she saw Mina was there too. Then her Japanese sensibilities were appeased.
>>
>>2101020
I guess so. Still wonder what she thinks of Ushi if she sees a boy and just assumes that though.
>>
>>2100968
Nope ushi is fairly socialy awkward and relies on flurtation to maintain a scence of control in social situations
>>
>>2101030
She might be worried about a boy taking advantage of her daughter, since she'd be aware of Ushi's methods of socializing.
>>
>>2101030
I think she is more worried that Ushi's flirting can easily backfire on her (Ushi). So she's worried that a boy may take these advances and try to force himself unto Ushi.

Remember what happend with Bakugou? Hiw he managed tp trick Ushi to go in a date with him but she was saved by Ochako?

I think that is what Ushi's mom is afraid of.
>>
>>2101070
This is a very good point I didn't consider.

Oh god we're lucky we haven't written a check with our attitude we don't actually want to cash with our body yet.
>>
>>2101103
Considering Ushi's quirk, she'd have really good odds of getting out of any situation like that.

You make your way to your classmate and sit by his side.
"Whatcha doin', Deku?" You ask him, trying to peek into his phone.
>"Kac!-" He screams in your ear before actually looking at you. "Oh, hey Walker. Sorry, still not used to the 'good' Deku."
"Don't worry, I've heard louder." You reply, unphased. "So, what's so interesting this mornin'?"
>"I don't know! And that's just it!" He says, frustration seeping into his voice. "No one knows!"
"You okay?" You ask him. "Cause it looks like to me like you are literally worrying 'bout nothin'."
>"I check the web every morning, and… eell that's the freaky part." He shows you his phone.

It's an image search with most of its results being white squares.
"What?" You ask, genuinely confused. "There's... nothing?"
>"Well, yeah." He explains. "Yesterday afternoon, someone uploaded a video on the web, then a dozen or more others uploaded something similar. Then in an hour it was all gone."
"That's it?" You ask him. That just sounds like a leaked game trailer.
>"All traces of it, Walker." He continues. "Pictures, discussions, reuploads… all of it. It's driving some people crazy."
"...And what was it about?"
>"No idea, but some people are . All I could gather was..." He flicks his screen and reads. "Six meters. Girl. Sushi. That's… All. Some guys on the web say they managed to download it, but I still can't get a copy of it."
"Now I want to see it too." You say, then pull up your own phone. "Maybe I can fish something up?"
>"It's worth a shot, tell me if you find anything." He says, furiously tapping at his screen.

You see two messages from yesterday.
The first one is from Pony.
>"<Hey thks for de hds up on horncare. I lukt it up and I almst wana die from sheer embrrassment, thks for lookn out fr me Ushi.>" She wrote in that text dialect of english people still paying their texts per character.

What kind of friend would let a friend embarrass herself like that? Not you, that's for sure.
...Horn tapping is an advanced flirting technique reserved for those who get it.

The other one is from Mineta.
How did he even get your number?
>"Damn. Shame about the age laws, you could make bank with that kind of content."

What.

Your searches also return nothing but diverse variations of 'this content was flagged as inappropriate and deleted.

"Yeah, I got nothing either." You tell him, shrugging.
>"Some say it's a quirk, a new hero about to debut. The forums are crazy about it... Although there are a lot of guys just wanting the video up." He adds, shrugging. "Must be sushi enthusiasts."

Then the train signals your stop, and both of you walk your way to the school's gates.

The entrance to the school is just as full of reporters as yesterday, but they seem… angrier. Or frustrated. Or maybe desperate?..
Something along those lines.
They were spread out before, swarming you and the other students as you passed, but being nothing beyond a bother. Now they are clotting on the entrance, forming a veritable barrier that makes shoving a necessity if you want to get to classes on time.

>"Come on! Hey kids, what can you tell us about All Might?"
>"Any insight on when did All Might get his teaching certifications?"
>"Isn't that the girl from that video?"
>"As freshmen, what do you think about U.A.'s selection of teachers?"
>"On a scale from one to ten, with 10 being the best ever, how would you rate All Might's methods?"
>"What kind of lessons does All Might teach?"
"Eh!?" Deku stops, not unlike a scared goat. "I-I spent most of the class on the nurse's office…"

You can ignore them with relative ease, but Deku seems caught by the mob, so you take the responsibility to put a shoulder forwards and push through.

"Hey, we need to make it to homeroom. Mr. Aizawa doesn't look like the forgiving type." You say, giving him a small jab to snap him out of his daze, then start making way. "Nothin'! No idea, don't think so, I like 'em all, seven dot eight, too much justice and the fun ones, now mooove!"

For some reason, once you make it past the gates, no one tries following you.

>"Thanks." He says as you make your way through U.A. "You'd think they'd give up after, but I guess that's All Might's pull."
"That's Japan's Number One for you." you reply, shrugging."
>"What do you think is its deal?" He suddenly asks you.
"Huh?" You sort of ask back. "Whose?"
>"The video's? or the hero, I think. Nevermind." He answers, sighing and looking straight up. "Whoever did it, I hope they debut soon, or my phone's battery is doomed. Too many speculation threads on the watchers."
"How can taking down a single video be that interesting?" You ask him. "Why do you guys even think it's a quirk?"
>"Sweeping the entire web, and taking down every single upload and re-upload? Only the police can do it that fast, but there's no statement." He insists with a spark on his eyes. "And the analysis guys on the forums have a point. What if there's a hero, or a villain if you will, that can just delete what he wants? What if they can just take down the banks? Or just look up every villain's lair? The possibilities are endless!"

"Or it was just a dork with a desktop and three screens." You point out.
>"Or just one and some obsession" He shoots back.
"Tracking every detail of what she likes?" You continue.
>"And with his figurines. Don't forget the 'action' figurines."
"And she thinks of this obsession as a role model?" You guess
>"You bet, and he images himself after that"." He adds. "You don't get to master hacker with a lower powerlevel than that."
"Hoodie and mask?"
>"A must have!"
"...We just described ourselves with a few changed words didn't we?" You suddenly realize.
>"I think I killed my own mood."He replies looking elsewhere.
"Yeah. Me too."

You walk the rest of the way in silence, until you get to Classroom 1-A's massive door.
Once you enter, you see pretty much what you expected.
Iida in his seat, even before the teacher arrives.
Momo checking her pencil bag and replacing an eraser with her quirk.

Huh. Little guy's popular all of the sudden.
Odd, but good for him.

Walking in, you can't help but notice how he and the three guys next to him stare at you as you pass by.
...Which isn't that odd. You tend to have that effect on boys.
Still, you take your seat next to Momo and prepare your stuff for the day's classes.
"Howdy." You greet her.
>"Good morning." She greets you back, giving you a quick once over. "Didn't rest well, I presume?"
"Don't want to talk about it, but yeah." You answer, slumping forwards and onto your desk.
>"Overeating does that to you." She nods in understanding.
"Yeah…" You reply before the realization hits you. "Wait, how did you know?"
>"I tried to find out what the 'mystery' video was, turns out it's just about thirteen minutes of you eating sushi." She explains. "Guys over there seem to be watching it too, although for... different reasons."

You look at the guys in question and, from the back of the classroom, it's clear they are watching something on Mineta's phone.

"I don't get it, it wasn't that impressive. I should have done it in less than ten." You start, then switch your focus. "If that's what the mystery video is, then how did you find out?"
>"I looked for recordings of devices playing the recording, as the swipe clearly targeted location and time based metadata." She explains, shrugging. "Kind of a rush job, even if the scope was impressive."
"So that's what they're watching?" You ask her.
>"Doubt it. I heard Mineta say he downloaded it within the hour." She answers. "Considering the quality of what's still on the web is basically unwatchable, he must be telling the truth."
"Didn't peg any of them as someone to watch competitive eating." You say, looking over to the boys still watching the screen.
>"...I think it's more about a girl...." She coughs and looks away before continuing. "...shoving-a-cylinder-down-her-throat."
"Oh..." Yeah… You are oblivious, not stupid. That sort of paints this in a new light.
>"Sorry, I thought you had to know." She apologizes.
"Don't worry." Really, what could you blame her for?

Then everyone starts scrambling to their seats, and you can see why, as Mr. Aizawa crawls his way to his desk before opening his yellow sleeping bag.

>"I hope you all rested from yesterday's trials." He starts, then pulls out a stack of papers from… somewhere. "I took the liberty of looking at your marks and evaluations."

And with that, the nervous mumbling surrounds you. Why is everyone so nervous? You all did great!..

>"Bakugo." Mr Aizawa starts, pointing at Daisy. "Stop acting like a toddler. You are wasting your talent."
>"...I know." The boy in question says, in a new tone. You never heard him say anything in any way but angry or mocking. He sounds sincere now.
>>
>"Midoriya." The teacher then turns to the green haired boy. "You may not have a choice right now, but work on handling your quirk. You need to be able to use it without harming yourself if you want to get anywhere, so I want to see you sweat."
>"YES SIR!" Deku replies, in a special blend of of enthusiasm and determination.
>"Walker." He then turns to you. "Two things. First, regardless of what All Might may have written on your evaluation, try hugging an unrestrained foe in the streets and you'll end up stabbed. Try using words if you want, but that was needlessly dangerous."

He then pulls up a small piece of paper and gives it a quick read.

>"Second, leave the R18+ circuit for those above eighteen. While impressed, even Midnight asked me to tell you to tone it down for now. That's a road with no way out."
"She was impressed!?" You ask eagerly.
>"...Yes." He answers with a sigh after staring at you for a few seconds. "But you really need to mull over everything else I said."

>"Now, to actual Homeroom business…" The dishevelled man says, looking particularly grim, even for him. "I'm truly sorry for having to ask this of you, but..."

>"Not again!"
>"Another test?"

This time you too are shaking on your boots. He didn't look nearly as apologetic on the first day…

>"We need to pick a class president." He says with an aura of finality.

What.

And then everyone else raised their hands and started to shout and ask to be picked. It's a lot of enthusiasm to pick up more work.

>"QUIET!!" Says Iida, raising his voice above everyone else's. "You are all asking to bear everyone's weight on your shoulders, desiring it does not mean you are capable of doing it!"

Rather surprisingly… It works. Everyone shuts up to look and listen to the bespectacled boy.

>"You need the trust and esteem of your fellow students to aspire at the position, for the only true leader has to be chosen through democracy! A choice reflecting the will of the people!" He says with the passion of a man who truly believes on what he says. "Which is why we must vote!"
"<HELL YEAH, DEMOCRACY!!!>" You shout at the end, backing his words.
>"Is that acceptable, teacher!?" He then asks… Uh. Mr. Aizawa got back to his sleeping bag.
>"As long as you finish within Homeroom period, anything flies." He says, collapsing sideways.

oh i thought i missed something and i think you all are right
>>
It's an affair you are proud to participate in, the voting.
Just a small bag to leave irregular paper pieces with your pick on it.

"Yaoyorozu Momo" You write in a corner of your notebook and throw it in.

Technically anyone can be picked, but you aren't interested in the position, so why vote for yourself? Momo may be the smartest person you know of, and has been nice and helpful since day one.

Who wants to have more stuff on their platter?..
Everyone else, it seems.

Or so you thought until it was time to count the votes, with IIda himself tallying the votes and writing them on the digital blackboard, then you were left speechless for a while.

Most got one vote, as you expected.
Aoyama, Fumikage, Sero, Shoji, Koda, Kirishima and Daisy, to be precise.
...Thank goodness no one voted for Daisy.

Deku getting three votes didn't surprise you either. He's a nice guy with two close-ish friends.

Momo winning with five votes was great, she was your pick after all.

You getting four votes was what left you gripping your hat in front of yourself as you stared at the blackboard.

>"How the fuck did that shitrag get more votes than me!?" Someone screams… It was Daisy. You don't have to look his way anymore to realize that he is the only one here who swears like a sailor.
>"...Maybe is because of that mouth of yours, don't you think?" Sero answers with another question.
>"Zero votes?" Iida laments. "...Of course. My rallying for a democratic process didn't help with what you thought of me…"
>"Iida." Momo says standing up. "...You voted for someone else too."
>"Man. If you really wanted the job, you should have just voted for yourself." Sato says, sitting on his desk.

>"Come Ushi, we need to take charge at the front!" Momo says excited, dragging you by the shoulderpads to the board.

>"President Yaoyorozu and Vice-President Walker then." Mr. Aizawa confirms. "Any issues before we move on, class reps?"
"Why would anyone even vote for me?" You ask the class.
>"To get the big titty committee running!" Mineta says then extends his arm to high five Kaminari... Who leaves him hanging.
>"Leave me out of this one." He says, taking a step away from him. "First girl who doesn't blow me off from the get go. Not knowing anyone here, that's good enough."
>"First one?" Mineta asks him, mockingly.
>"One more than you, I presume." Kaminari shoots back.
>"Wel… I… <Fuck>." Mineta replies, looking down.
>"We barely know each other." Tsuyu says. "After yesterday, I know more about you than anyone else here. Ribbit."
>"That's the gist of it, yep." Mina finishes, nodding.

Also, I think we could do Momo a lot of good, and vice versa, being closer like this. She needs help with confidence and we need help not being terrible at social mores. We get a pass far too often because we are obviously foreign, so it would be nice to fix that eventually.

You sigh.
"Despite there being both more competent and willing people, like Iida over there, trying get the job, I guess I'll do my best." You say, putting your hat back on. "We'll get this ship sailing smoothly, won't we prez?"
>"Of course!" Momo replies, giddy. "By the end of the day we'll have this month's cleaning schedule done, so most will be able to go home early every day, starting today!"

Most of the class cheers at her words, and you clap a little yourself.

>"You go girls!"
>"Yaoyorozu was really cool during the analysis!"
>"Walker was no slouch either."
>"They'll work well together!"

>"That'd be all, then." Mr. Aizawa says, stepping off his sleeping bag. "Get back to your seats and wait for your next class."

"When are we going to do this?" You ask Momo, seeing that Homeroom was ending.
>"We can work it out during lunch. Teams of four or two, synergy and tool requisitions… Although that last one shouldn't be a problem for us!" She answers, as you walk back to your seats… She seems really happy about this. It's rather contagious.
"Alright!" You say with some excitement. "We can make this work!"

Classes this morning are just boring. Gone is the novelty of having heroes teaching mundane stuff, now it's just classes.
That doesn't mean you get to slack off however, no sirre! You may have passed the entrance exam by cramming the day before, but midterms won't catch you with your pants down. You jot down every word the teachers say, even leaving sidebars for the occasional anecdote they tell.
You don't have any time at all to chat or any other time wasting antics, but what you do have is an index at the start of each of your notebooks.
Let the tests come, for you are ready!

>"Walker." Shoto says poking your shoulder. "You will miss lunch if you keep writing."
"Hang on a minute, I'm almost done." You tell him, putting down your pen and closing your notebook. "Alright, I'm done… Where's everyone?"
>"You were too focused writing, everyone already left." He answers, walking to the door..
"Well, fuck." You pack your things and go meet him.
>"We will have to hurry if you plan on taking two trays again." He tells you, powerwalking towards the cafeteria. "Unless you can't choke on rice either."
"Actually, I have to be careful with rice. Gag reflex exists for a reason, you know."

Lunch Rush's Mess Hall is, just as it was yesterday, full of students of all classes and years, a place of relaxation and rest before the second half of the day.

>"I will take a table by the window." Shoto says, splitting off.

You see him go to the same table you pulled him off of yesterday before actually going for his lunch.

Lunch is the one chance you have to spend with your pals at class B...
…But you have duties to do now as an elected official.
Well… You could…
Aw, fuck it. It wouldn't be the first time you drag a friend to their table. It's not even their table!

You quickly go pick up your lunch and walk out with two trays again.
Lunch Rush knows his stuff. That goes without saying, but the prices here are still astounding, so even buying twice feels like a great investment.

Especially if today's Fundamental Hero Studies class is as intense as yesterday's...

With your lunch trays in hand, you look around for Momo.
She's not particularly hard to find, having a table for herself. She's chewing on the back of a pencil and holding a notepad, having apparently finished her own two trays.

>"Walker, you came!" She greets you as you approach her table, pulling a chair for you. "Here, take a seat, I was thinking about taking care of the first shift, today's thats it, ourselves. If we assign Ashido to help today as well, we should be able to get our own cleaning supplies sorted on day one!"
"That's… Uh. Really interesting." You reply, standing next to her. "But think we could discuss it ...over there?"

You point with your horns at a nearby table, where you can see Itsuka, Pony, Tetsu and Monoma talking.

>"Those are class B students." Momo points out, as if you didn't know it.
"I know, but I prefer to think of them as two great gals, and two cool enough guys." You explain. "Now get moving, sugar. I need to eat too."
>"I really doubt we can get much work done with more people meddling…" She says. It's obvious she doesn't want to leave her seat.
"Let's ask them how their class did it? They must have their own prez and vice-prez after all… " You insist. "Please?"
>"...Very well." She says, sighing and standing up. "I suppose we can ask them for their input, but we better get some work done."
"Trust me, we won't have any trouble getting at least this week's schedule done." You assure her. "But... Do we get to do anything else, Prez?"
>"As President and Vice-president?" She asks, to which you nod. "Making sure the class stays orderly on field trips and evacuations as well as getting out last, pitching clubs… There are some other things too, but the really important parts are being the teachers' assistants and being in charge of the class when there are no teachers present."
"Neat." You say half-heartedly. Getting to lead the class in small doses still doesn't account for all the enthusiasm of this morning, but it makes a heck of a lot more sense than being that excited about cleaning.

When you get to Itsuka and Pony's table, you get to hear the tail end of a conversation.

>"I'm just saying we had a nice gag going." You hear the table's rougher boy say. "It kept everyone looking alive during yesterday's morning slog!"

>"I'mnoot dooin eet." Pony replies before noticing you. "<Hey, Ushi! I thought you went to sit elsewhere and… who's that?>"
>"<Yaoyorozu Momo, nice to meet you..?>" Momo introduces herself in pretty good english, then looks at you.
"Oh right! Introductions!" You say, setting down your trays and pointing at the students at the table.

You start with Pony.

"That's my fellow american, Pony Tsunotori… or Tsunotori Pony. I doubt she minds." You say, getting a shrug from Pony. "Everyone, this is Yaoyorozu Momo. Class 1-A's brand new class president."
>"Good to meetcha." Pony says, reaching for a handshake. It takes Momo a second before taking it.

You then point at the blonde boy.

"Second not jerk, not teacher, male blonde in this school, that's Monoma…" You start telling Momo, then turn to the boy in question. "I don't think I ever caught your given name, actually."
>"Really?" He looks surprised by that. "I'm Monoma Neito, charmed."

Then you point at Itsuka's and Momo's own hair.

"That's Kendo Itsuka, your fellow ponytailed girl... who is ironically not Pony." You introduce them.
>"Nice to meet you, prez." The redhead says, performing a mock salute.

Then you move on the last guy on the table.

"And built-in domino mask over there is Tetsu..." You say, looking at the guy in question for a hint.
>"Keep going." He tells you, making a circular motion with his hand.
"...Tetsu..." You continue.
>"You are halfway there." He says, chuckling.
"Tetsutetsu." You finish. "Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, I just met him yesterday, so nothing to say that doesn't involve his name, really."
>"I'm the guy above you on the entrance exam's top ten if you need something to remember me for." He says, then nods at Momo. "What's up?"
>"Work, responsibilities, a family name to uphold." Momo answers. "The usual."
>"So who got Vice-President then?" Itsuka asks, pointing at you with a spork.
"You are pointing at her." You answer, then you start on your lunch.
>"That reminds me, did you already pick your class reps?" Momo asks, flipping open her notepad. "I'd like to compare plans… if we manage to settle on some, that's it."
>"President Honenuki should be with Awase and Kodai…" Tetsutetsu says, scanning the cafeteria. "Somewhere... But Vice-Prez here should be enough."
>"That'd be me." Itsuka says, giving a small wave. "Though I don't know what to tell you, we were picked today as well."
"We don't have anything hashed out either." You say, shrugging.

>"All the more reason to get to work." Momo says, ripping a page off her notepad and handing it to you.

It's a rather simple chart with your and your classmates' names and the days of the week, asking you to sort them into groups and and assign them a day.

>"We can compare and 'hash out' a final schedule in fifteen minutes, then move on to evac and buses." She says, giving you a pencil.

This is a time sink, you won't get to spend any quality time with your friends!
But she looks so happy...

"Uhm... Sure." You say. It shouldn't be that hard, right?

You were so very wrong.
Forming teams with people you barely know was hard enough on it's own, doing it while trying to eat?
That was a full time job.
You spend six minutes answering to Pony, Itsuka and the boys with nothing but 'Yes.' or 'No.'.
By the seven minutes mark, they all stopped talking to you altogether.

W-well! You can still work this out!
There's still plenty of time left and...

Then a siren starts blaring, making most students in the cafeteria jump to their feet, sending chairs crashing to the ground and making even more noise.

"Are we having a fire drill!?" You ask before pocketing Momo's chart and stuffing your face, trying to finish your lunch as fast as possible.

Luckily for you, a robotic voice explains the situation.

>"SECURITY LEVEL THREE HAS BEEN BREACHED." It says. "STUDENTS, PLEASE PROCEED TO THE EMERGENCY EXITS."

>"And the fuck does that mean!?" Tetsutetsu yells at the ceiling.
>"Level 3 is the innermost part of U.A's security system!" Momo explains over the commotion. "Anyone could be inside the facilities!"
>"Then all we need to do is calmly walk ou-Ow!" Itsuka starts, before being shoved aside by some boy.

An instant later your table is flipped sideways, as you are caught in a veritable human stampede.

>"Slow down! Slow down!" You hear Kirishima say as he is swept away by the mob.

Scratch that, this is a tsunami.

As your face is shoved against someone's back, you notice that of the table, Tetsutetsu and Monoma are the only ones still standing nearby, their metallic bodies acting as a wave breaker of sorts.

>What do you do?

Once we've got momo in sight, we can lift her up and put her on our shoulder or someplace more stable to help direct the rest of the students. With her able to make a loudspeaker and our natural large size increasing our presence, the two us should be able to get all the students out in a timely manner. I'm sure we can rely on her.

Funny thing is that i think americans, do to the hero comics culture they have, would be more responsible about supernatural powers then with guns.

Yeah…
No.
You worry about trampling others, not the other way around.
You place your hand on your thigh and enlarge yourself, keeping the shift's speed on check.
There's no need to scare everyone even more with a sonic boom, nor to accidentally turn someone into chunky salsa.

You then kneel, both to keep undesirables looking at the right side of your skirt and to reach an even larger size, growing until you can feel the pipes on the ceiling with the back of your head. You are pretty sure you'd be 30 feet tall if you could stand upright, landing you at some comfortable 23 feet-and-a-pipe kneeling.
Your sheer size slows down the panicking students, both because of the space you take forces a bottleneck, and because a decent part of the student body slows their mad dash to look at you.

"Class 1-A! Gather 'round!" You call, hoping your dear electors both hear you and recognize your newly invested authority.

As your classmates try their best to converge on your position, pushing against the tide and raising their arms, you lean forwards to lend your services as a crane. While you aren't big enough to just pick up your classmates like kittens, you are more than large enough to let them hang to your hand and pull them safely over the roiling sea of students and behind the barricade formed by your other arm.

You leave Momo for last, letting her stay sit on your hand to share the view of the mess hall.

Not counting how Daisy rammed his way through the crowd himself and how Toru seemingly just appeared behind you, you gather the whole class in seconds.

>"Now what!?" Kirishima asks, shouting to be heard amongst the chaos. "Now we are just trapped together!"

Well, ain't that the million dollar question?

"What do we do now, Prez?" You ask her, raising her to your face.
>"I thought you had a plan!" She shouts in your face.
"Asking for your plan was my plan." You tell her. "Whatever you wanna do, I have your back, unless you want me to shout at them to calm down. I can do that too."
>"What am I even supposed to do!?" She asks.
"Try taking a deep breath, then get thinking." You tell her, flicking her ponytail with a finger. "You have a good head over your shoulders, get it working."

She seems to consider it for a moment before a shout from the class is heard.

>"We still gotta get out of here!" Kaminari shouts.
>"Not really!" Iida shouts back, then turns towards you, pulling your sleeve. "Take me up, Walker!"

You do as he says, lifting him up to the same height as Momo.

>"President! Vice-President! You must see this!" He says, gesturing to the window with his hands.
Looking out you see… The press? Just… the mob that was standing outside the school a few hours ago?
"It's just the media..."
>"In their panic, no one tried to check what they were running from." Momo summarises. "Thank you for the information Iida."

>"Just doing my duty to the class." He says, motioning at you, the media outside and Momo. "The class representatives can't act in full if they aren't relayed all the appropriate information."
"Thanks!" You tell him, lowering him back to the floor.

>"With no actual threat we must stop the panic before someone gets trampled." Momo says. "Get me closer to the center Walker, we can do this."

You extend your arm as far as you can, holding her where everyone could see her, if they just stopped running and looked up.

>"Everybody calm down!" She starts, but no one looks at her.

She then undoes the first two buttons of her shirt and produces a small megaphone, nodding in your direction.
You grab it with your other hand an enlarge it to just below caricature size before handing it back to Momo..

>"EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!" She starts again, this time getting the attention of every person in the hall. "I'VE BEEN INFORMED THAT IT'S JUST THE PRESS!"

In an instant, the students' expressions start shifting from fear and nervousness to confusion and shame.

"THE ONLY DANGER ANYONE WAS EVER IN IS THE ONE YOU'VE PUT YOURSELVES INTO WITH THIS PANIC." Momo continues, scolding the hundreds of students, getting them to lower their heads. "I UNDERSTAND THIS SITUATION CAUGHT US ALL UNAWARES, BUT PANICKING NEVER HELPS ANYONE, AS IS DURING CRISIS LIKE THIS THAT YOU SHOULD DO YOUR BEST TO ACT AS THE ELITE YOU ARE, STUDENTS OF U.A! I WANT TO SEE YOU SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WALKING THROUGH THAT EXIT!"

While you can hear some students complaining about being bossed around by a freshman, the evacuation proceeds smoothly from then on.

"You did it." You tell Momo as you shrink back. Your knees hurt a bit.
>"We did it." She corrects you. "You make for a wonderful platform!"
"...Thanks?" You reply. "You think we can leave the cleaning schedule for later?"
>"Yes. But we'll have to take care of today ourselves then."
"We'll manage." You say, full of confidence. "It's just dirt."

After lunch comes the class everyone waits for with bated breath the whole day.
Foundational Hero Studies.

Yesterday's Trial of Battle got you all to show your tactical sense, your ability to cooperate with a random pardner and your sheer might.
You think you did pretty well, what with winning and all that…

The chance to prove your mettle has you shaking on your seat as Mr. Aizawa explains today's class from his desk.

>"For today's Foundational Hero Studies..." Mr. Aizawa starts, his voice slightly muffled by his weapon. "It was decided that you are to be supervised by three teachers, me, All Might, and someone you still haven't met."

"What'll we do!?" You ask the disheveled teacher.
>"Teacher! Wha-... What she said!" Sero says, interrupting himself.

>"The core of a heros's duty, be it a flood, a wildfire or a landslide, you must be ready" He says, pulling a similar card to the one All Might showed you the day before.

"A trial of rescue?" Well, you can do disaster relief, you guess. It's not as exciting as a brawl, though.

Not all of your classmates agree with you, however.

>"Sounds tougher than yesterday's..." Kaminari comments. "I can't exactly kill fires with lightning."
>"It's a challenge!" Mina replies, excited.
>"C'mon man, teach just said it, this is what being a hero's actually about! I'm pumped already!"
>"I don't know about you." Tsuyu says. "But I'm hoping it's a flood, that's my best environment. Ribbit.

"Settle down." Mr. Aizawa says, swiping the classroom with a glare. You all comply. "Rescues, I hope you understand, are vastly different from raids like the one you simulated yesterday. So think about whether or not to wear your costume and what to bring with you."

He swipes the same pad he used to record the results the first day and the wall slides open, revealing your suitcases.

There's literally no reason to not wear your beflagged costume, but what do you keep handy on your belt?

"WHEEEEEEEEEeeee..." Your new whistle goes as you wave for everyone's attention.

Turns out the training facility is far enough to warrant transportation in the form of one of the school's buses.

And that makes it your and Momo's job to make sure everything goes smoothly, hence the whistle and the waving in front of the bus.

>"File into a single line according to your number." Momo tells everyone, then explains. "Let's fill the bus' rows from the front to the back and from right to left. That means that Aoyama will be taking the closest seat to the door, and Ashido will sit to his right, and so on."

"We'll be the last to board, to make sure everything's okay." You finish. "Now get to it.WHEEEEEEeee..."

You like this thing.

In the end it was a transit bus with inner looking seats, so your directions weren't needed, but you are happy to see that your classmates heed Momo's directions.

...Up to a point, as Deku and a few others ask to change seats within the first minutes of the trip.

You can't blame him for wanting to be with his friends.

>"We can change seats, can we?" He asks, looking in your direction.
"Sure, if we crash you're all spam anyway." You approve with a shrug. "This thing sure could use some seatbelts."
>"Don't you think that's a little… grim?" Deku asks, sitting next to Tsuyu and close to Iida and Uraraka.
"Gotta tell it like it is." You say, leaning on the safety barrier in front of your seat. "Even if it's not nice, it's still the best policy and all that."
>"People really should speak their minds more often." Tsuyu "I always do, no matter what I'm thinking about."
"Nice" You give her a thumbs up from your seat in the back. "What'cha thinkin' about, then?"
>"Midoriya." She answers, turning to the boy in question. "Your quirk reminds me of All Might's."
>"Y-you… think so, Asui!?" The idol comparison must have hit him hard, as he stutters his answer. "W-well, mine's more like, you know how how sunbirds and hummingbirds are alike?.."
>"Now hold on, All Might's arms never end up looking like spilled noodles!" Kirishima interrupts, waving an arm in a way that can only be described as 'wobbly'. He then gives Deku a thumbs up. "No offence, really. I'm actually kind of jealous myself, Enhancer-type quirks like that, simple and flexible, can pull off a lot of fancy moves!"

He then extends his arm and you can finally see his quirk at work clearly.
His skin gets angular and jagged, while his fingertips sharpen. His arm ends up looking like an unpolished stone statue's.

>"My 'Hardening'... Pretty good on a slugfest, but there's not much I can do to show it off." He says, staring at his own arm. "Ain't just flashy enough, you know?"
>"What are you talking about? Your quirk's awesome!" Deku reassures him. "It has the potential to be on the level of pros!"

>"C'mon Eiji, at least your quirk can't kill anyone on accident." Mina says, flicking a drop of acid to the floor. "Flashiness and power aren't everything!"

"WHEEEEEEEEEE..." The newly melted hole on the bus' floor whistles.

>"...What's going on back there?" Comes Mr. Aizawa's voice from the front end of the bus.

"Mina..." You say, glaring lightly at the girl.
>"...Oopsie?" She says, lowering her head into her collar's fluff.
>"Sero, if you would?" Momo asks the grinning boy, then turns back to you. "Walker, whistle, please."
"Gladly." You say, holding the metal whistle with your lips.
>"On it, prez." An instant later, the hole was patched up with an 'X' of tape.

Then Mr. Aizawa pokes his head out the side of his seat, looking your way.

"WHEEEeee..." You blow.

>"Stop playing with that thing." The teacher says, retreating back to his seat. "I'm trying to rest."

"Thank you Sero, Walker." Momo says, giving both of you a small bow. "Now, can we please refrain from actually demonstrating our quirks until we arrive? Next one might actually hit something vital."

>"Sorry!" Mina apologizes. "But talking about flashiness and power, you are up there, Ushi!"
"Flattery won't get you anywhere" You reply, dropping the glare. "But don't stop."
>"You, Tokoyami, Daisy and Todoroki have the whole 'Power and flashiness' shebang going on!"
"Damn right I do." You boast, pulling up your sleeve and flexing your arm in a pretty decent imitation of Rosie the Riveter.
>"But Daisy is always foaming at the mouth, so he won't be popular." Tsuyu points out.
">I'LL BE FUCKING POPULAR TOO, BITCH!" Daisy yells, jumping off his seat. "AND DROP THE FUCKING DAISY SHIT ALREADY!"
>"Told ya." Tsuyu says, looking back to you all and pointing at him.

>"It's only been a brief while since our socialization has commenced and yet already we have been made apodictically cognizant of your personality, redolent as it is of a turd getting steamed in a sewer." Kaminari recites, pointing at Daisy with a smug expression on his face.
>"...What!? The hell's that kinda vocabulary!? I'mma kill you!!" The other blonde yells, literally shaking.
"Really though, that was amazing." You compliment Kaminari. "I thought your thing was sparks, not spitting fire."

He blinks and takes his chance.

>"You'll find that I am a bag of surprises." He tells you, twisting his body to look at you, holding to his seat's backrest. "I know this place tha-"

And then his grip slips and he drops face first on the bus' floor.

>"...Surprise! Betcha you didn't see that one coming." He tells you from his position on the floor, with a smile and a thumbs up.
"Can't say I did." You reply, giggling.
>"Nailed it." He says, picking himself up.

>"We are almost there." Mr. Aizawa's tired voice comes from the front of the bus. "Settle down and get ready to disembark."

The bus drops you off next to a massive checkered entrance, from which you can see…

>"Is this U.S.J or something!?" Kirishima asks.
"What?"
>"Universal Studios Japan, I'd assume" Momo explains

Yeah, that.

It looks like a massive theme park, divided into multiple disaster themed areas.
You can see a giant waterslide of mud and debris on one side, and a bunch of buildings half submerged in mud on the other…

HOLY FUCK THIS
>>
>>2111466
Seriously, there’s not a lot that could beat Kaiju Red Riot in a straight fight.

We would want to consider shrinking a couple of our friends though. Small forms get a speed boat and a power cut, Iida would be plus ultra-ing by default with a speed multiplier and if we can get Deku weak enough maybe he’ll stop breaking his own goddamn bones. Momo could probably shed tanks like dandruff and Aoyama becomes basically Godzilla.

For various reasons, Funikage and Hagakure might not benefit from either treatment in a brawl.

Solid brawlers like Sato, Shouji, Bakufuck, and Koda all become pretty swole.

Ashido gets to live a dream and be a deterrent.

Sero and Mineta keep most of their strengths while becoming significantly tanky.

Emitters like Todo and Kaminari get to have what was their full strength as their not even trying, allowing them to fight for much longer.

Am I forgetting anyone?

As the unknown figure chats with quietly with Mr. Aizawa, you try to find out who is it in a way that doesn't reveal that you have no idea who this is.

That is to say, you shuffle closer to Deku and wait for the nerd-out.

>"It's Space Hero 'No. 13'!" He says excitedly. "A kind hero whose amazing work in disaster relief has saved countless lives all over Japan!"

There it is.

>"I've always admired No. 13!" Uraraka says, pumping her arms and almost bouncing with excitement.
"I guess that's our third teacher, then." You say with a shrug. "Sounds like the best for the job though."
>"As far as rescue specialists go, No. 13 is one of the best!" Deku explains without diverting his eyes from the teachers. "I can only think of one better team and well… It's a team."
"Nice. We got the best pro to show off to, then." You say, beaming with confidence.
>"We've got this!" Uraraka says, flat out outshining you. She points at the various areas as she speaks. "Landslide, ruins or mountain, I'm on my element!"
>"What about the fire, flood or… monsoon?" Deku asks her.
>"Not much to lift in those, but I'll do my best!" She answers.
"Feels weird to go from kicking the tar outta each other to..." You twirl your hand around. "Whatever rescue training entails."
>"It's nice to have a hands-on class that doesn't involve getting into a fight." Deku says, tugging at his gym clothes. "At least until I can actually pull my punches."

>"It seems All Might won't be joining us today," Aizawa announce, having finished his talk with 13. He then prompts the other adult. "Shall we begin?"
>"Before we do, there's one thing... " 13 starts, stretching the word 'thing' and finger-counting. "...two things, actually."

"It keeps going up…"

>"Maybe three." 13 continues, finally dropping the count. "Alright, four. That's it."

13 then raises a hand and stares at it, wiggling it's fingers.

>"I think you already know, but my quirk is 'Black Hole'." 13 says. "A powerful vortex that annihilates anything and everything it traps. No matter the material, it'll be dust."
>"You have used it to easily remove wreckage in disasters, getting faster than anyone to trapped victims, all without the risk of a collapse!" Deku says, getting a nod from the space hero.

Uraraka seems to have taken a page from Iida's book, nodding at 13 fast enough to look like a blur.

>"It's, also, a power that can easily kill." 13 tells all of you. "Not unlike your own quirks."

And with that, everyone settles down.
All chatter dies and everyone stands in attention, waiting for the teacher to continue.

>"Of course, in our superhuman society, quirk usage is heavily regulated, and the requirements of their lawful use enforced." 13 explains. "That's how the world works, but never forget why it is so. A little mistake, one wrong step... that's all it takes to take a life accidentally."

'One wrong step…' That resonates with you. One misstep at maximum size and people become indistinguishable from ketchup packets... And even when you held Shoto yesterday, a bit of a squeeze was all it would have taken…

You shudder at the thought.

>"Thanks to Mr. Aizawa's test you learned about your quirk's potential. All Might's trial of battle gave you a taste of the danger involved in brandishing that power against one another."

13 then strikes a pose and swipes a hand in your general direction.

>"That's the past. We are here for a new branch of heroics!" 13 says. "Now, let's get to studying about how to to wield our quirks for the sake of human life!"

>"Your quirks certainly don't exist to bring harm! I hope you all leave today having understood that a hero's quirk exists to aid those in need!

Man, is 'giving cool speeches' a required skill to graduate in heroics?..

>"13's so cool..." You hear Deku say.
"I know, right?" There's always new cool heroes to meet, it seems.

>"That's all! Thank you all for being such a great audience!" No. 13 finishes with a deep bow.

>"That was awesome!" Uraraka cheers, punching the air like a piston.

Iida isn't far behind, cheering on his own way.
That is to say, clapping enthusiastically.
As the whole class cheers, you clap too, landing somewhere between Momo's polite clapping and Iida's imitation of a seal on speed.

After waiting a minute for all of you to simmer down, Mr. Aizawa tries to start the class.

>"Alright, first things first..." He says before interrupting himself, turning slowly towards the joint's centre.

You can see Shoji producing ears on his arms, apparently having heard something too.

>"HUDDLE TOGETHER AND STAY PUT!" He suddenly shouts, to the confusion of everyone present.

>"Huh?"
>"What's going on?"
"WHEEEEEE!." You use your whistle to call for everyone's attention, then yell. "GATHER 'ROUND!"

In a second, you are all behind Mr. Aizawa and next to No. 13, just as confused as before, if not more.

>"No. 13, keep them safe!" Mr. Aizawa says, donning his googles."

Looking to the plaza below you can see a massive wall of unnatural dark smoke, from which dozens of figures of all sizes and shapes emerge.

>"Is this another horde battle? Like the bots and points thing at the entrance exam?" Kirishima ask, trying to take a closer look and make sense of the situation.

>"DON'T MOVE!.." Mr. Aizawa yells at him. "THOSE ARE VILLAINS!"

Then things get even weirder, as the dark cloud starts speaking.

>"...Eraserhead and No. 13… According to the curriculum we acquired earlier, a certain Mr. All Might was supposed to be here. Yet he's not…" It comments in a very formal japanese.

>"I knew it. So it was you who broke through the gates..." Mr… Eraserhead says, ready to pounce, as his capture weapon flaps around him.

In the middle of the congregation of villains, a lanky and unkept man starts- Holy fuck are those hands!?

>"Where is he?.. It was a lot of trouble, making this happen. We had to wrangle a lot of us to come…" He says, shifting from a crouching stance to standing tall, looking like a puppet missing some strings all the while. "You can't tell me All Might, The Symbol of Peace, just isn't here."

>"I wonder..."He then turns to the black mist."Will he show up if we kill the kids?"

You can't help but shudder at those words, and the childish earnestness with which they were said. It's exactly the way a kid with a magnifying glass sounds when he wonders if the fifth ant will explode like the first four…

>"You can't be serious, teacher!" Momo argues. "There's no way villains can just walk into U.A.s grounds, what about the intruder alarms and sensors?"
>"There are a few set up, but…" No. 13 says, letting the last word draw out.

'...But they clearly aren't working.' You mentally finish.'

>"No. 13, proceed to evacuate! And try to get in touch with the school! You too, Kaminari! Try to contact U.A with your quirk!" Eraserhead orders.

>"Teacher! Are you charging in by yourself!?" Deku asks worriedly, and his worry is rather contagious. If your local hero-otaku thinks this doesn't look good, it doesn't look good, however…

Eraserhead doesn't look hesitant at all, even if he looks a bit grimmer than usual.

"Calm down Deku, he knows what he's doing." You assure the boy.

>"I will hold them at the plaza! No. 13, I'm counting on you!" Eraserhead says, leaping down into the fray…

And kicking ass before even touching the ground, his capture weapon snaking and coiling around villains before sending them crashing against each other, and socking a rockguy half again as tall as him in the nose.

"It's awesome…" You say, standing still and watching the fight unfold.
>"I had forgotten that one-vs- group fights were his speciality!" Deku says next to you.

>"Stop gawking you two!" Momo urges you from a dozen meter away. "We have to evacuate!"

You only manage to run a few steps before the talking fog materializes in front of you all

>"I'm afraid I can't allow that" It says, expanding into a massive wall… With a head, sort of.
>"Greetings. We are the League of Villains. Forgive our audacity, but... today, we've come here to U.A. High School, this renowned bastion of heroism...to end the life...of All Might, the Symbol of Peace." It explains, in the same calm and formal japanese as before. "Was he not to watch over you this day? Or mayhaps there was a change of plans we are unaware of…"

>"Regardless of all that, I'm afraid I still have a job to do." The fog says, starting to surround you and your classmates...

Actually, kind of yeah.
Tomura Shigaraki's whole character, especially this early on, is basically that he's really fucking bad at being a Villain.
His motivation is so stupid as to be basically nonexistent, his plans aren't very well thought out, he wastes vast quantities of resources on stupid petty bullshit like wanting to kill All Might through brute force rather than subtlety, the list goes on.
An example I can point to without dumping manga spoilers on people is in his interactions with Stain, or more particularly with the public's reaction TO Stain.
Stain gets taken down, but he also gets lots of attention. Other aspiring villains seek to emulate him, there's merchandise in stores based on him, all that shit. All of this because Stain has a recognizable motive that people can understand, discuss, even empathize with to a degree, as twisted as his means of pursuing that motive were.
But Shigaraki doesn't even understand all this. All he can see is a guy who, like him, destroys things that piss him off. And he's baffled by it, because his Nomu attack did WAY more damage than Stain's failed attempt at bushwhacking a d-lister like Native in an alleyway. He doesn't get that Stain is INTERESTING, while he himself is just some asshole who likes to blow shit up for giggles.
>>
>>2112347
Precisely. It's a shitty character observing why he's shitty and not getting it. Which, in turn, makes him interesting. Kinda meta, really.

In any case, he's a great foil to Deku. Deku had the will and the passion to achieve, even with no quirk. Shigaraki has a powerful quirk, but no clear direction to reach his goal, and no will to forge ahead on his own. If he didn't have help, he's sit like a bump on a log and scream at his TV all day.
>>
>>2112206

However, your hair is blown back in the familiar warm breeze of an explosion, as Kirishima and Daisy jump at the fog, slicing and blowing it up, scattering most of it to the wind.

>"Did you just run into a tutorial?" This Shigaraki man asks from below.
>"....It appears that way."
>"Cool. Bring me her corpse later." The hand covered man says, nodding. "The special NPCs have good loot."
"What?"

Unlike its previous attempt, this time the fog shoots at you like a raging gale, quickly surrounding you.

>"Worry not, it's fairly simple." The fog explains. " We'll scatter you. Torture you…"
The fog surrounding you quickly drown outs the light, leaving you without any sense of sight, or touch. Then you just lose the ground.

Hell, I mean work, has released me.
Time for another Lightning round!
---
"AAAAAAAHHH!!!!" You scream as you claw, kick and grasp at your surroundings, finding no purchase whatsoever!

Fuckfuckfuckfuckff…
W-wait, the bread!
Its fresh softness may give save you from the fall, and anything between you and the raging inferno would be welcome!

You fumble with your belt's pouch, trying to pull out the shrunken loaf that would be your savior…
It's just a small tab, all you have to do is turn it and align it with the opening in the flap!

But your shaky hands can't manage to open the simple lock, keeping it closed and out of hand.

>"I GOT HER!" You hear someone shout, as an arm wraps around your waist. "DO YOUR THING NOW!"

With a sharp tug, you feel yourself slow down.
Turning your neck, you see that is Kaminari who hugs your midsection and that he himself is dangling by his ankle, wrapped in Kyoka's jacks' cables.

She is holding on to Momo with both arms, and craning her neck down.
She isn't saying anything, but you can see in her expression that holding both of you aloft, causes her great pain.

And right above her is Momo, wrestling with her open parachute to steer away from the burning building.

"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" You shout, clinging to Kaminari, as you swerve left and avoid the building, speeding towards the thankfully not-burning street.
>"Brace yourselves!" Momo shouts... and you can see why.

Four teens with only one parachute? Far too much for the featureless fabric to work as intended. You are simply going down too fast. Hell, it's a fucking miracle that it opened!

Way better than not having a parachute at all though.

Oh god. You know what's about to happen.
You will all fall in a heap, and with your luck, you'll end up giving the only guy here a soft landing.

>"Sorry!" Kyoka shouts as she lets go of Kaminari, just you close the last ten feet to the cracked pavement.
>"Damn!" Kaminari yells, retiring his arm and flailing about like a cartoon runner.

...Which leaves you in the same situation.

"<FUCK!>" You shout as you sort-of join in on his impromptu air dance number

C'mon, you can swing this!

As soon as your boot hits the ground you stagger forwards, bleeding a bit of momentum, then again with your other leg, falling into an awkward run before setting into a skipping jog.
Kaminari, for his part, dives to the pavement, tumbling and rolling to a stop ten meters away.

"WOOooh..." You start, before you realise that you just fell over a hundred feet, that you got here somehow after a villain said that you would be tortured to death and that even if the street itself isn't burning, you are still in the middle of a massive urban fire. "...oh…"
>"I'm fine..." Kaminari says, standing up and dusting off his black jacket. He then pats himself all over. "I'm fine! I thought I'd break something!"

You are fine, he's fine…

You turn just in time to see Momo and Kyoka get entangled in paracord and crash into the pavement.

Being the one hanging lowest of the two, it's not surprising that Kyoka got to the ground first, but you can't help but wince as her head hits the floor.

>"FUCKSHITDA-ahh!!" You hear Kyoka's scream, cut short as Momo falls on her stomach.

The class president was doing her best to stop herself with her hands and knees, but it barely slowed her down, knocking the air out of the smaller girl's lungs.

You share a glance with Kaminari and both of you return to the impact zone to help.
You pull your tiny swiss army knife from your belt and enlarge it to hack at the paracord. It's so much easier when you aren't freefalling.

"Hey, gals, you okay?" You ask them as you free Momo from her accidental bindings.
>"That looked like it hurt." Kaminari comments as he helps Momo stand up.
>"It most certainly did." She replies, producing… a napkin and a paper bag? "But I can wait-"
"How 'bout ya'?" You ask as you help Kyoka sit up… She doesn't look too well.
>"..." She mouths something without actually uttering a single word.
>"Here." Momo says, handing her the paper bag.

Kyoka takes it and… Ew… Empties her lunch into it before handing it to you. You shrink it to the size of a thimble and hurl it at the closest flame, hoping to…
Damn… You look at the warm liquid on your hand…
Blood!?

"What the.!?" You shout and ask, wiping it off your glove.
>"I'm sorry, I thought my lacerations could wait." Momo apologizes, making a few bandaids.

You can see now the bleeding scrapes on her hands and knees as she hurriedly wipes the grime off them and covers them with the band aids.

>"How are you, Kyoka?" She asks. "I'm sorry about the parachute, I didn't want to improvise in the middle of the fall… I should have just made it bigger."
>"Momo, prez." Kyoka whizzes before clearing her throat. "I blame the villains. Or gravity. I'll take blowing chunks and a headache over going splat or crispy any day."
"Y-yeah. About that, can we leave?" You ask nervously as soon as everyone is back on their feet. "Like, right now, let's run back to the entrance, yes?"
>"You are right." Momo says, looking around.
>"You have no idea where's the entrance either, do you?" Kaminari asks.
>>
>"There are a few easy ways out of this coil, kids..." A new, squeaky voice says as the ground trembles.

An instant later the pavement bursts open as an eight feet tall villain claws its way out.

His whole body is covered in a shaggy and greasy, almost slimy, fur, his arms end in thick foot long bladed claws while his legs are ridiculously wide and stubby and his face sports a muzzle that looks like the aftermath of a drunk taxidermist trying to do his job with a spoon and a stapler on a star nosed mole's carcass, using a pair of jaws of life as a frame.

It's an ugly motherfucker.

>"Tell ya what?" He says shambling closer. "I promise to behead you in a single bite. Way better than the other basket cases will do to you when they get here. Hell, the first one doesn't even have to watch the others!"

>"I want a knife. A big one." Kyoka whispers.
>"Noted." Momo replies.

We should get in front, guarding the others. Don't use our quirk to make ourselves bigger just yet, we don't know if that'd help or hinder us, more likely hinder with how much fire there is everywhere. So get in front of the others, and go defensive. Block any of his melee, if we get a good grip or something we can shrink him.

We're not in a confined space right now, but at max size we will be. Best to avoid that given that everything's on fire. The warning's mostly a formality, we both know he's in too deep to get out without a beating now.

Try not to think about the fact that everything's on fire, also.

>Getting called in on sunday.
Sorry for the abnormal delay
---
You raise your hands as the villain advances, keeping the plating between the villain and your friends.

"You really don't wanna do this." You warn him. "It won't end well for you."
>"Can't see how, really." The villain replies. "The bunch of pyromaniacs are on their way and you are shaking on your boots."

...He's right, but it has nothing to do with him.
The air is dry, thin and tastes like ash, and the smoke doesn't let you see the sky, nor lets the sun reach you.

Down here, the only light source to be had are the dancing flames surrounding you.

All in all, you welcome the distraction he represents.

You glance over to your allies.
Momo is pulling a metallic staff from her wrist.
Kyoka has taken a knee and plugged her jacks to her boot.
Kaminari… He's hiding behind the gals!?

>"Well then, I tried to be nice." The villain says, brandishing his huge claws and 'dashing' towards you and your friends.
Out of everyone present, you react the fastest, observing his claw's path before getting in his way and slamming your gloved fist against the claw's dull side, sending it wildly off course.

And you are glad you did so, as what would have been a hit to Kyoka's abdomen gouges out the pavement like a spoon does ice cream.

...They aren't playing...

But the pain hits you as you feel a pressure wave shake your hair, as Kyoka's boot blasts off a deep bass at the villain right next to you.

"<FUCK!>" You cover your ears, fast enough for your poor eardrums to not have to endure the god awful bass, even as the plating in your gloves rattles.
>"Sorry, but these things are only so directional!" Kyoka shouts over her noise.

At the very least, it's effective, as the villain winces and backpedals under the sonic onslaught.

>"Nyee..." The villain whines, recovering his footing. "Fine, be like that. I'll just hold you back for a little while."

>"Kyoka, here!" Momo shouts, spouting a pommel-less handle off her arm.
>"Yeah, this'll do!" Kyoka replies, pulling on the handle to reveal an enormous knife.
>"I'm counting on you for now!" Kaminari.
>"Kyoka, Ushi, we can subdue him easily, if we attack by all sides." Momo says, taking the initiative and twirling her staff. "Even if it's only us."
>"Liking the moxie, but that's a bad idea prez." Kyoka replies, pointing at the horizon.

Looking over the smoke and burning buildings, you can see many, many flaring flames shooting up into the smoky sky and dying, closer and closer to you.

>"Told you they'd be coming to play." The villain says. "Gotcha beat in experience and numbers too! Tehee… It's their playground you are standing in, ya know? I'm just fireproof."

"...We need to get out of here." You say, trying to keep the nervousness out of your voice.
>"If we don't take him out it'll be whatever's coming, plus this guy later." Momo argues.

Think it's worth embiggening Momo or Kyoka?

I'd vote for trying to shrink him as he's clearly a physical boy, but I'm worried the fur will get in the way. Either way, we have to go faster. We really won't win an endurance game against a mob.

>"Then let's end this quickly." Kyoka says brandishing her blade.
"Alrite, then" You reply, grabbing the rim of your hat and tipping it."Pssh, nothin' personnel sugar!"

You aren't going to go full throttle on him, that'd… that'd probably be murder, actually.
But you do enlarge yourself as you whip him, taking advantage of your whip's range and speed to dish out the pain before anyone can react, breaking the sound barrier with the cracker as it slashes at his arms and chest.

The fur hides any marks, but that must have hurt as the villain clutches his midsection and only screams as he tries to bite at Kyoka, who raises her blade for an overhead swing.

Luckily for both of them, both you and Momo butt in.
This time you cover Kyoka with the back of one hand. The moment after your glove is scratched by his teeth, Momo's staff hits the side of his head, taking his head on a high speed collision course against the pavement.

After a few seconds of tension, Kaminari finally approaches the villain.
>"I think he's done." He says, tapping the unresponsive villain with his shoe.
>"Yeah, thanks for chipping in." Kyoka snarks, waving her knife in his general direction.
>"To be honest, I don't seem to recall what your quirk is." Momo adds, leaning on her staff.
>"I can coat myself in electricity and discharge it in all directions." He replies, forming a small arc lightning between his fingers.
"I don't mean no disrespect, but maybe try helping out instead of hiding behind us next time." You rebuke him.
>"I mean, literally all directions, I can't aim!" He defends himself.
>"That does make him more of a liability than an asset." Momo concludes.
>"Gee, thanks." He whines.
"It's true though." You assure him.
>"Totally, but unless anyone wants to make a stand we should get moving." Kyoka says, stabbing her jacks into the ground and pointing at a nearby intersection. "I think I hear Black Rock City's welcoming committee coming."

Thanks to your height you check amongst the smoke and above the fire and debris, and just as she said, a flaming mob is almost here.

Maybe if you don't look at them you can pretend they aren't going to chase you?

>"Where are we going then, Ushi?" Kyoka asks at your other side.

"Away from the ones who want to, at least, burn us to death!" You answer, noticing something odd.

Kaminari runs at your right and Kyoka at your left… But where's Momo?

You look over your shoulder hesitantly, in the same way you'd look at a car crash.

Sure enough, Momo is straining to keep up with you, and slowly falling behind.

And some sixty yards or so behind her, comes the burning mob.

You don't even give thought to it.

You pivot and dash back to Momo, grabbing her by the shoulders and slinging her over yours. She's… soft.

>"Hey!" She protests at your abrupt violation of her personal space, but wraps her arms around your neck nonetheless.

"Sorry sugar, but that limping of yours is going to get you killed or worse if left alone." You explain, sprinting back to the lead position. "And it ain't my style to leave a friend behind, ya know?"

>"Good to know we have some team players here." Kaminari says, shooting a non-subtle at all glance at Kyoka.

>"Don't you have to participate to be part of a team?" She snarks. "You know, doing the work part of teamwork?"

>"Can't you two wait?!" Momo berates them. "You can bicker as much as you want when we get out of here!"

"Do you have a plan to get outta here!?" You ask, looking at her over your shoulder. "Please say yes."

>"I have a few ideas, yes." She replies. "But we'd need to commit to one."

>"And keep running!" Kaminari says, pointing over his shoulder with his thumb. "They are getting closer!"

>"Agreed. Even if they are as... simple as the last one, I'd rather not test our luck against a mob." Momo says. "Add in how gruesome burns can be, and running is our best option."

"Maybe if we had a full party?" You suggest. "Can't you make, like, a copper rod for pichu over here or something?"

>"Pichu?" Kaminari asks.

>"Uhm… I have something in mind." She answers. "Just don't make this weird, please."
>>
"Why would-" You then feel a cylinder poking your lower back.

It's obvious to you she is just making… Whatever she is making, with her thigh.

Reasonable, what with her chest pressed against your back and her arms holding on to you and all that.

However it wouldn't be like you if you didn't take the chance to tease her.

"Oh my~" You say, covering your mouth your free hand. "To think you'd think that way of a simple farm girl like me… I'm flattered~"

>"I-I… You..." Momo starts, then catches herself, replying to you in a tired tone. "You are just making fun of me, aren't you?"

"Depends, is that an eight inches rod you are poking me with?" You ask, with the cheekiest smile you can muster.

Momo can't see your face, and you can't see hers, but that doesn't mean you don't have an audience to look at.

Kyoka just rolls her eyes at your antics, while Kaminari is having a giggle.

Good! Great, even! Just focus on the people around you and pay no mind to the area...

>"Eight and a half inches, and it's a baton!" Momo answers, then throws it at Kaminari. "Spring-loaded, telescopic muntz baton. It feels dirty now."

>"A what now?" The boy asks, looking at the rather small yellow rod.

>"It extends by pressing the button on the handle, conducts electricity and should hit pretty hard if you can swing." She explains.

>"Sweet! It even matches my costume!" He says, pointing at the black rubber handle and it's yellow body.

Then the levity dies as a bucketload of liquid fire falls in front of you, splashing your costume with drops of…

"AAAH!" You stop running and shriek, swatting at the flaming substance on you with the back of your glove.

...and it all falls off.

Right.... This things are fireproof.

A good thing to remember before trying to drop and roll at your current size. Next to more fire. With some one on your back.

>"They are in range!" Kyoka shouts.

"NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!" You shout back, trying to keep your heart out of your throat and where it belongs. "Sorry, I really "

>"They throw this shit around!?" Kaminari "We need to hoof it! Now!"

>"Still no idea where are we going you idiot!" Kyoka shouts. "We may be going to heart of the storm this way!"

"Momo, what about those ideas you said earlier?" You ask your presidential backpack.
>>
>"Right!" She starts. "We could try to break apart or past the smoke cover and orient ourselves."

"Can a giant fire extinguisher do that?" You ask.

>"...sure, just make sure to not kill anyone with inert gas induced asphyxia." She answers.

"...Plan B?"

>"Listen to the explosions!" She answers. "It's faint, but there's an almost constant rumble coming from somewhere, and with some aid from our quirks Kyoka should be to pinpoint it and allow us to find Bakugo and whoever is with him."

"I guess recurring to Daisy is better that burning alive… Any other, less humiliating ideas?"

>"You could try growing to your maximum size and charge in a straight line. It probably won't lead us anywhere in particular, but it'll make an exit."

>"If you think you can take the rain of a thousand flames, that's it. " Kyoka butts in. You are already a huge target, Ushi."

>What do you do?

>[Just run as far and fast as you can, let fate decide where you'll end.]

Absolutely nothing can go wrong with this plan. Might as well make this robot useful for once. I'm still surprised the dude let us keep it in the first place.

Don't feel bad, they move '5' forwards.
A giant robot of Tin's size right now moves '3' without trying.
You only need to get a set to keep the distance.

Roll me 3d10, Tin's Wheel.

Tin's stats...
Rather mediocre. Good thing being huge adds a lot of mods.

Mob rules:
Good stuff.
>They can use all their sets in combat to repeat the same action.
>They can roll over 10d10
Bad stuff
>They share a single health pool.

You think about the options Momo gave you and look back at the mob closing on to you...

Yeah… no.
Nope-nopity-no.

"Straight line, giant and fast." You decide without hesitation. "Shortest path between two points and all that. The two points being 'here' and 'not here'."
>"I can cover you with a fire blanket, but that's still a lot of fire and you would be an even bigger target." Momo warns you.

You smile and pat the boxy pouch on your belt holding your phone and robot.
Tin… It's nothing impressive by itself, even when it's its regular size any student just trying to get into U.A. should be able to destroy it.
You even destroyed one of its kind this size with your thumb during the entrance exam.
But Tin is different. First off, you can control it directly, leaving the A.I. to smooth your commands and, as of yesterday, flip a coin on the corner of your phone's screen.
And second, you don't have to work with the tiny robot as it is right now, nor its normal size.

"About that..." You take out the tiny robot and set on the floor without taking your hands off of it. "It doesn't have to be me to rampage… Time to shine, Tiny Tin."
>"You got a surplus robot?" Momo asks as you shrink yourself to your normal stature, focusing on the robot you are about to enlarge. "What is that token it's holding?"
"What?" You ask, then look at the robot.

It's holding the coin Shoto half melted the day you met him, even with the coin looking to be half the robot's size.

"A special coin..." You answer, then look back to the robot under your hand. "You took that from my nightstand. ...Give it back."

It looks at you and taps the rougher side with its thumbless hand, then points at you before flipping it with both hands. It lands rough side up and it leaves it on the ground.

"That's better. Odd… But better. I think..." You pocket the coin and activate your quirk, enlarging the robot as much as you can, as fast as you can.

An instant later you aren't crouching in front on a toy sized robot anymore, but standing in the shadow of a forty foot tall giant robot.

"Hop on!" You say, digging up your phone and starting up the controller app, then commanding the robot to lower its body and crane its neck to the ground.
>"Giant robot ride..." Kaminari says in amazement, climbing up the robot's head. "Awesome!"
>"I guess we'll get the best vantage point." Momo says, taking a seat on Tin's head, next to Kaminari.
>"Are we really going to smash our way through burning city blocks?" Kyoka protests. "And not to rain on your parade, but-"
"Get on the fucking robot Kyoka." You order. You aren't angry at her, but this place and situation has your nerves frayed, and you can't wait to get the fuck out of here, USJ be damned.
>"Okay, 'kay." She replies, raising her hands and climbing up the robot too. "No need to get mad."
>>

You too take a seat on the robot's head, and order it to rise.
It feels odd, looking down on everything but not standing tall yourself...
Here you are, surrounded by burning buildings, chased by villains and trying to not choke on the smoke that makes up most of the air at this height.
...It could be worse.

So you gaze down on your screen and slide Tin's speed to the maximum.
>"We are leaving now." You say smirking.
'Tiny' Tin, at this size and under your direct control, it's an awesome bulldozer.
You ram forwards, making a shield with Tin's plated forearms and barreling through the flaming husks of what used to be houses and stores.

Yet it's too big a time waster it seems, as even Tin's now massive wheel can't make way fast enough to lose your pursuers, letting them take advantage of the now 'clear way' to not only keep up with the giant machine, but to catch up to you.

A sudden shift of lighting makes you aware of it, as you look back over your shoulder to see exactly what Kyoka warned you about.

Your phone almost slides out of your hand as you feel your whole body go numb.

In torrents, balls and liquid streams...
A veritable rain of a thousand flames falls upon Tin, and thus, you.
You can see it all, feel it.
Momo's leotard and boots, Kyoka's jacket and Kaminari's shoes and hair, all catching fire.
Your own fate isn't much better, as the burning napalm lands on your back, dripping into your boots and searing your flesh, leaving your costume whole while burning you-

"-THOOOOOOOOOOMP!!!-" Kyoka's speaker blasts in an awful bass, as Tin's plating below you rumbles.

You shake your head, looking around.
The flames in the air die as the visible sound waves collide with them, reducing a day-nightmare causing inferno to a blast of warm air and a splash of gasoline smelling transparent slime over the four of you.

The sound waves continue visible for dozens of feet, collapsing some of the most unstable buildings and flat out knocking out a part of the mob in one fell swoop.
Even your ears end ringing.

>"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Kyoka shouts at the mob below. "AND WHO THE FUCKING HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE MESSING WITH!?"
>"You drive this thing, we'll cover you!" Momo shouts at you, pulling a pair of gray blankets from her cleavage and throwing one at Kaminari.

You shake your head once again and take a deep breath, firmly grasping your phone.
You can take it.
Just a little longer, Ushi. Pull yourself together.
Keep it together.

Even if you feel like your heart might just give up any second, you smirk.
You are a japanese-american on the helm of a giant dual autocannon wielding robot. This kind of thing runs on your blood...
And even if you don't feel it, you have a lifetime of bluffing backing you up for this.

You stand atop Tin's head, and high above the ground and cross your arms in front of your chest, in defiance of the mob below, holding your phone on one hand.

From the corner of your eye you can see the coin in the corner of your screen flip and land heads up.

Then Tin imitates your posture… Apparently having some dramatic driven directive or something.

As you see one villain run away, you wish someone was here to snap a pic of this moment… or not. You are slathered in sticky napalm, after all.

Well Tiny tin has 40 feet or(12,20 m)in height a the moment and we take that a person arm lenght is from ones shoulder passing it's waist. It would make Tin's arm around 5 or 6 meters long or in feet it would make it between 16 and 19 feet long. So i guess punching someone would be deadlier then shooting some over sized rubber balls.
