You lead your party into the damp dark slime caves. With three of Salaman's summoned scorpions leading the way. Thanks to you and Alina the entire party has the protection from slime and shield spells.
While walking down a corridor you see pulsating shapes in the darkness advance towards you.The slimes are closing in. You hear several large splattering sounds and turn around to see a slug of slimes have fallen from the ceiling behind you.

>You are in Combat
>You have 40/40 hp

A quick assessment shows there are 10 slimes attacking you. 4 of them are attacking from behind.

>"Either of you two need a potion?"

Ulric: "No"
Salaman: "Yes thank you"

You give Salaman one of your lesser healing potions. It heals him to full.

You continue exploring for a little while. Eventually you come across a chamber through a small opening. You will have to crawl one at a time to get through the hole.
When you peer inside you see a single slime. And it's a big one.

Alina: "Woah is that the mother?"
Salaman: "I don't think we need to kill this one to get our reward. Maybe we should avoid it"

This. We also need some heavier ranged damage.

Oh shit, wait, can we use the scroll of polymorph on the giant slime? What does it do again? Then again, we might need to save it for the big boi at the end.
>>
>>2105678
The scroll of Polymorph lets anyone instantly cast the Polymorph spell. Polymorph transforms a willing subject into an animal. A Baleful Polymorph lets you use it on an unwilling subject but the slimes have high constitution and are likely to resist it.

Fuck, armor is expensive. I'm thinking just a suit of bronze or leather for Ulric, let him decide. IIRC we already wear bronze and Alina has leather. If Salaman is feeling left out get him a cheap suit too, but I think he'd appreciate saving the money for magical stuff more.
>>
>>2105783
We should buy spells for Soloman. Can we buy any in Leafside?
>>2105783
I don't think leather is good for him. He's a big ol' dummy, so I don't think we have to worry about him not being able to do acrobatics?

You buy bronze armour for Ulric
>You now have 323 Talons

>"Do you want armour too Salaman?"

"I'm happy to wear armour, but I'd rather the 100 Talons be spent on a new conjuration spell"

Alina: "I'm pretty satisfied with my armour. I don't really need an upgrade"

You inquire the shop keeper about the orcs.
>"Dangerous orcs?"
His smile quickly fades.
"I'm afraid the the township of Clarcton has been invaded by the orcs. We haven't heard from them in a few days. There haven't even been any survivors except for some guard deserters"

Ulric: "What? The whole town has been wiped out?"

"We don't know for sure, normally the orcs would raze the buildings and leave no survivors."

Salaman: "Sounds like it's out of our hands"
