>Last Time on Caff Chronicles (http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/2096751/) our hero met the adventurous Bulma and joined her in her adventure to find the mysterious and powerful Dragon Balls along with the powerful and strange Goku. But it seems that we signed up for more than we expected and nearly died in the process! However the hooded stranger, Bardock apparently saved our young hero and showed him a whole new plateau of power to reach. In his quest to find that power he met the bizarre and beautiful Launch who had a very powerful sneeze and the Turtle Hermit Roshi, who he now called master. With three Dragon Balls already accounted for only four remain. Just what sort of adventure awaits our heroes? Find out today on...Caff Chronicles!

As the long night ticked on in the quiet capsule home nobody noticed the faint orange glow that began to emanate from the nearly amber stone. Even you yourself was unaware of the glow, at least not consciously. While your mind continues it’s rest your spirit is well aware of the glow as it resonates with your being. After a few minutes of this glow dancing along the pearl and skittering out along the glass table it rested upon it eventually made a jolt that struck your hand. Like a glowing orange teather the bolt refuses to dissipate and instead strengthens . Just as it had while you were awake it traveled like a jackrabbit through your chest and as it made contact with your core you felt your mind explode into consciousness.Just as quickly as you could see the world around you it fell away, everything twisting and blending until you were wishing for it to simply stop.

You don’t know how long you are sucked down this whirlpool of colors before it finally throws you out in a place you could not recognize.

All around you were trees of impossible size crowd the clearing, the moon hanging low in the sky and obscured by rolling clouds. Your skin itches as the long and wild grass tickles your exposed skin. Seeing your environment you try to get some idea of just what is going on when you hear the rustling of foliage in the distance.

And something tells you whatever it is isn’t friendly.

>What do you do?
>A. Stay low to the ground and hide in the grass
>B. Try and get high in the trees.
>C. Stalk the noise, stay away from it.

As you make a rush for the trees you remember that you still have the cloud boots and quickly dash into the branches. Finding a comfortable branch that still supports your weight you look down and see what you at first believe to be a torch in the tall grass. That misconception however changes when you recognize that it is not some flickering firelight but in fact a creature.

If you had to describe it you would say it’s a praying mantis...except eight feet tall and glowing orange. As you watch it crawl through the brush you pause when you suddenly see the massive insects head jerks towards you and you watch in horror as the beats wings open and with a terrible buzz rushes straight towards you!

The beast charges at you with a surprising speed given it’s size and you barely manage to avoid its razor sharp claws. Jumping higher into the tree only serves to make some space as the large animal adheres to the trunk, coming after you with lighting swipes and jabs. You’re continually on the back foot as you continue to try and make space. The opportunity arrives however as it rears back for a double hammer strike you will the boots to stop and you plummet beneath it.

You get a few good quick punches into the insect's abdomen as you continue to fall back into the grass below. A few feet before you hit the ground you will your boots to life and you slow rapidly before rolling into the dried and swaying brush. You can hear it fly above you, it’s massive wings pushing the grass down and so you duck with it to stay out of sight.

As you stick low to the ground things seem to be going well as you have yet to catch the ire of-

‘CrRRrUUUNCH’

You pray to whatever gods there are that the Mantis did not not see you. The moment the buzzing begins to increase you are almost certain that it perhaps saw you. The feeling of it’s meaty shell slamming into the side of your head and sending you bounding down the grass confirms that yes, you were seen. Shakily getting to your feet you are slammed again back into a tree from another follow up strike.

The thing was damn fast as you look up from your slumped position against the tree, already closing the gap between the two of you. Pushing off the tree you roll again beneath the beast's charge before putting some space between you and your lightning fast opponent. Your head is still swimming but you manage to focus. As you see the charge come you realize a single flaw in the attacks the mantis had been putting up until this point.

For as fast as the Mantis was, it was predictable.

As it continues to charge you experience the same out of body experience you had the day before after you had used the Jōka Gan. Time seemed to slow as you watched with an laser-like focus as the Mantis continues it’s charge, arms beginning to rear back as it comes down to strike at you.

As the Mantis gets within striking distance you strike, your forearm coming up to catch it’s downward strike before returning one of your own just past it's now trapped joint. As it comes in with its other claw you turn your back to it, your striking arm sliding down to the joint while you're free to catch the blow. You hear the mantis screech, but as it grows louder you realize that you had forgotten that it’s mandibles were just as deadly. Kicking off the ground you tuck yourself into a ball, its arms slamming into one another as it’s head buries itself in the ground.

Coming out of your spin you slam your heel into it’s head before standing triumphant above the beast, you had finally won!

Or so you had thought.

In a blinding flash of light the Mantis was gone, however in it’s place is a far more humanoid figure. While slightly taller than you it still retained the same golden hue that had dominated the massive creature, and a small pair of antennae protruded from the forehead. As you stared down the beast-turned-man you hear it give a chuckle, or as close to a chuckle as a man-mantises vocal chords.

“Impressive, child of Kizen. Most impressive.” it says, it’s voice a deep humming baritone. “But we shall see yet if you are worthy.” And with that it charges.

You meet the charge with a run of your own, your speed managing to keep you on some equal level as your seemingly superhuman perception gives you a battle clarity you had never experienced before. Just as you had experienced before your opponent was fast and relentless but without being able to catch you off guard he was predictable. As you continued to fight you began to notice more and more the weaknesses and strengths of your opponent. In addition to the predictability of your opponent you noticed that much of his strength came from the sheer momentum of his blows, meaning that if you interrupted the momentum his strikes were bereft of any threat.

Blocking a few wild hook jabs and punches you duck beneath one arm, landing a rapid jab of your own against his exposed torso. Putting his own techniques into practice seemed to pull off as the golden mantis is pushed back, dust kicking up around him.

“Haha, by the spirits you are good! I have not seen such potential in a very long time.” The figure speaks, sliding back into a fighting pose. “If you may honor this request, show me more! Show me your determination, Caff!” He challenges.

The battle continues on for what feels like hours, back and forth all through the grassy clearing ahead of you. Punches and kicks, flips and spins; No move was left out of either of your arsenals as the moon continues to crawl down the horizon above you. The only reason you can even tell time is moving forward is simply the pain from the hits that your opponent would sneak in. However as the slight hue of the rising sun seems to stir you out of your concentration as the man-like being holds a hand up.

“Enough my friend, enough!” He says with a joy that you did not expect from a man who you had been fighting for the last few seemingly hours. “You have bested me, Caff Fey; I have nothing more to teach you and little left to do.” He says, bowing before you.

You are unsure of exactly what he is talking about, or his ‘left to do’ remark but nevertheless return the gesture. Standing to your full height the individual walks up to you and presses his fingers to your forehead. Suddenly you feel that jolt of energy like you had felt when you had touch the thunder pearl, however instead of spreading out and down into your core it feels like it presses straight into your forehead.

The tingling feeling continues to retreat overtime and becomes less of a tingling heat and more of a warm and mellow sensation.

“May the Patience and Cunning of the Mantis help you on your journey, Caff Fey; Last Master of the Lashing Mantis.” The stranger says before they begin to fade away with the rising sun.

You however, are unaware of his passing as you currently in a bizarre situation. Memories of places and people you had never met flash through your eyes, from the mantis-like figure you had seen before shifting to a lush and verdant landscape. Another flash and the same forested land is smoldering in ruins. While you do not know where, how or what you saw, but all the same it was like you had lived the experiences you that had flashed before your eyes.

You’re about to try and decipher just what exactly you had just seen when you are dragged kicking and screaming to consciousness by the drawn out screeching of an alarm. You sit up, every muscle ready as you prepare to fight off wherever the sound comes from. In your leap to get up however you end up falling flat on your face, a tired and weak groan muffling out from the blanket you had been tripped up in.

Well, that’s a start to the day.

>You have unlocked the Lashing Mantis fighting style, which makes use of surprise and rapid attacks to do the most damage possible; However without speed or if put up against a trained martial artist you may run into some issues!

>You have unlocked the Martial System! Before a conflict occurs you can chose to pick from your currently known martial arts styles; This will give one either bonuses or penalties depending on who you are up against.

Getting up to your feet you see that other than yourself you are alone in the living room of the capsule house. You aren’t sure where the blanket had come from, but you fold it all the same and set it on the couch. As you stand up you notice that Goku is slumbering on the other side of the couch, somehow still sound asleep even with the alarm blaring. A few moments later you hear the alarm finally click off and afterwards Bulma cracks open the door, wearing a long baggy t-shirt.

Stifling a yawn she notices you and waves “Morning, Caff” She mumbles, the slight slap of her bare feet against the ground being the only other sound.

Responding with a good morning of your own you sit back on the couch and remember that you had left the Thunder Pearl beside you, looking over at it you see it, glittering the same golden hue as it always had. However when you go to touch it the tingling sensation you used to have was far less prominent, replaced with a steady calm you had come to expect from your own energy.

Standing in the open area of the wide living room/dining room area you slip out of your bullet-hole ruined shirt and begin your usual routine in silence. After a few quick jumping jacks you hear a slight cough from Bulma and looking over to her she has the slightest hint of a blush on her face.

“What are you doing?” She asks as you stop, looking over at her.

“This? Well, it’s my morning routine.” You answer before getting on the ground and starting the series of pushups that came after your standing portion.

As you continue to go through the motions Bulma sits ahead of you, looking at you with an apprehensive look.

“Just how long have you been doing this ‘morning’ routine?” she asks, and something gives you the idea that this would not be the last.

“Maybe...uh...eight years?” you grunt out, trying desperately trying not to forget what number you were on.

“Eight years!? Aren’t you like...fourteen?” She exclaims.

“Yeah…?” You answer, though it feels more like a question.

“Is that how you got so buff and all that?” She asks with a slight sly smile.

Before you answer her question you roll onto your back and begin to do your crunches. You had never really noticed that you were that different from the rest of your brothers at the Monastery. Looking down at your chest as you continued your repetitions you didn’t quite see how you had a polished chest. Sure you had the usual tone and smooth stomach that came with the rigors of martial arts training.

“I...don’t know what you mean Bulma.” You admit honestly. “This is just how I look, nothing special.

That wasn’t a lie either. You had seen on one of the few trips Master Khara had taken with you into the city that many modern fighters had larger and blocky frames and focused purely on raw power. Compared to most people you’d have to rest yourself in the middle, if you were being honest.

“Don’t know what I mean my ass, You have to know you’ve got a great physique, you’ve got to!” She exclaims.

“Not really; all of us back at the monastery had similar builds, mostly because all of us had the same training.” You admit, sitting up and reaching for your toes.

It is evident that Bulma is going to continue pestering you about this if you don’t find a way to distract her, but what?

You decide that there’s no harm in her questions, even if they are a tiny bit strange.

As you continue through your crunches you move on to your handstand push ups, all the while continuing to answer the odd questions of your companion. As you continue through the exercises you can’t help but have your thoughts drift to the day before.Given the strangeness of it all, and the energy you had found you decide to try and follow the same guidelines you had with the Jōka Gan. Breathing and focusing on your core you begin almost immediately feeling the very same warmth you had felt the day before, however it is far easier than it had been before.

Where it had once been harder and smaller to find, akin to a small kindled flame, this time it was more akin to a proper fire.where once you would had felt nothing the flames now lick at your fingers with a willingness and ease that had not been there before. Was this because of your dream? Had the Mantis...man...thing been serious in having trained you?

You aren’t sure, but whatever the case you begin to:

As you continue to sink deeper into your meditative trance you work on trying to move the energy around your body as you stay in your upside down position. At first it is slow to move, like molasses being pushed through a hose; Slow, unwilling and taking more effort than you’d be willing to put in. However as you continue to practice it becomes easier and easier. It isn’t flowing like water but it is still much easier to call upon and manipulate than before.

You feel like you’re just on the edge of breaking through with your training when you are roused from your concentration by the scent of food and the rumble of your stomach. You had not eaten dinner and the call of bacon, eggs, toast and who knows what else certainly was appealing to you. Cracking open your eyes you realize that you had still been upside down and you promptly feel yourself slump to the ground.

Getting to your feet you see that Goku is already tearing into his food and you are quick to scramble to your feet and practically wrestle your portion away from the encroaching black hole that was Goku’s stomach. Digging in you already feel stomach settling as you continue to take your fill; While it is nothing compared to what Launch had managed to whip up with the fish it is still good enough to eat, and you are thankful for that.

“So, what’s the plan for today, Bulma?” You ask, taking a breather from your ravenous hunger.

“Well, the Dragon Ball is about a two hour’s drive north from here. Once we have that one it’s just a matter of going west about two days or so.” She answers, stifling a yawn as she stretches.

“Think we’ll run into more of those thugs like we did at Goku’s house?” You ask, frowning at the potential of more fighting, guns and other threats.

She gives you a sigh and you can already tell what the answer will be.

“Given that we ran into them so early I’m afraid we will. Besides who knows just who else is out there that will try and gather them themselves.” She confirms.

That actually reminds you of something, you hadn’t asked exactly what wish Bulma had hoped to make when and if she gathered them.

“Say, Bulma; What exactly are you hoping to wish for with the Dragon Balls?” You ask, taking a bite of your eggs.

“It’s easy really: The perfect boyfriend of course!”She declares, and you nearly choke on your eggs as you hear it.

“Ex-excuse me?!” You cough out, looking at the teen in disbelief.

“What?! Do you know how hard it is for a beauty like me to find a man who can appreciate it properly?” She asks, practically glaring at you.

“Is that really something worth wishing for?” You ask, raising an eyebrow.

“Do you have a problem with that?” She returns, her practical glare becoming a very real one.

For a moment you take a long silence and look at Bulma, really really look at her. You had only known her for a short period of time in the last two days but there were a number of things already evident to you. She was Rash, quick to anger and quick to use her femininity to her advantage if she could. She was a city girl through and through and it was clear she was truly unprepared for the adventure ahead of you. But at the same time that courage was as endearing as it was stupid, and combining that with the intelligence to make a device that could find the illusive spheres was a testament to her brain.

To make a long and complicated answer short, there were good and bad things evident in her person, but there was certainly more than just her beauty that could be appreciated.

How is telling her straight up she's wrong and that she's got plenty that would get her the "perfect boyfriend" without having to use her wish on it rude?
Bulma could wish for so many things, beneficial things like eternal health or youth, and she'd waste it on something she can get by herself if she keeps at it: looks, brains and stupidity in all.
Damn right it isn't rude to have a problem with that.
There's being nice and then there's being a pushover that ends up keeping his mouth shut afraid that he'll offend.

>>2121853
Yeah there was no way we'd get locked so early anyway, even this confidence pep talk wouldn't do anything, besides, the ball is still in our court anyway if she took it that way, we can still go full combat autist like Goku and disregard bitches for them gainz

We aren't just telling her she's wrong though, obviously Caff's gonna try to boost her confidence in herself a tad by complimenting her smarts on making the tracker, that would probably stop her from outright blowing up.
'sides, we're building a track record with obliviously helping girls by just using logic without any ulterior motives by agreeing to help Launch train and possibly this Bulma interaction, it's kinda funny, and I hope it keeps happening with all the girls he meets.

You shake your head, it was not your place to show her the truth. That would be something she would have to come to see on her own.

Satisfied with your silence Bulma’s smile beams back into existence as she finishes up her meal before putting the plate in the sink.

“Alright boys, I’m going to take a quick shower and get the car ready to go and we’ll head out, okay?” She asks, getting up again.

You nod, getting up before gathering up the thunder pearl when a thought crosses you.

“Say, Bulma do you still have my stuff from when I fell out of the plane?” You ask.

She pauses in her walk before snapping her fingers and running into her room and a minute later she returns with your bundle of items. You smile and take them into your arms as she walks towards the shower. Hearing the water start to run you step into her bedroom and quickly change out of your dusty and ruined clothing.

“Hey Caff!” Goku calls, poking his head inside the room.

“Yeah Goku, what's up?” You ask in response, turning to him.

“If we get a wish, I think we should wish for Bulma’s balls back.” He says in a hushed tone, and you feel your eyebrows start reaching for your hairline.

“What?!” You exclaim jabbing a finger at him. “Stop monkeying around Goku!”

“I’m serious, Her balls are gone!” he cries “I saw it for myself.”

...You can’t be serious.

Stepping out of the room you look down at the slightly shorter boy and take a moment to choose your words carefully. As you look at him you realize that he is entirely serious, he thinks that Bulma has lost her non-existent balls. You realize that this issue had come up before when you first met the boy and it only had dawned on you now that perhaps, just perhaps, he really didn’t know the difference.

“Goku...she...Bulma doesn’t have balls because she was never born with them.” You explain, patting him gently on the head.

Goku seems to regard this for a second before he looks up at you with his eyes wide.

“Then it’s all the more reason that we wish for her balls!”

…Kami give me strength.

Before you even have a chance to try and correct the even more erroneous idea Goku now had Bulma steps out of the bathroom, her clothes already on and a wide smile on her face.

“Alright kids, let’s get this show on the road!” Bulma cheers, throwing her fist into the air.

Goku seems to quickly buy into her excitement and soon he is jumping around the living room in excitement. It takes you a good five minutes to corral the monkey boy out of the house while Bulma herself throws out the small capsule that contains the car. Calling shotgun you grin as Goku pouts before seemingly remembering he is now the owner of a flying cloud and hoping above it and scooting along with the car.

Getting to work you close your eyes and almost as fast as you will it your energy begins to come to you, the same sticky and syrupy sensation you had only a few minutes before. Just as before you practice pushing and pulling the energy away and around the core that the energy came from. As you continue to practice it you begin to move it faster and faster, and slowly but surely it begins to respond in kind. After a few minutes of pushing and pulling the energy you begin to move it outwards towards your extremities and back. At first your energy is sluggish to respond to the sudden change, but as you continue your exercises it becomes easier and easier until it is almost like running water in its responsiveness to your whims.

Pleased with this fact you begin to work with the energy to see if you can keep it flowing without concentrating on it. While it did linger for maybe an hour, forty five minutes at best you wanted to see just how far you push that number. To start you pull the smallest amount of your energy as you can away and let go, seeing how long it took to return to the core. While at first it was quick to snap back, no longer than five minutes, you begin to focus on slowing down the return rate by ‘tightening’ the path back. Though your returns are minimal at first after a few more attempts that number steadily increases until by the time Bulma tells you that you’re close to the Dragon Ball you’ve gotten the time up to ten.

Getting out of the car you stretched your stiff muscles and blinking the sun out of your eyes you see what appears to be a small hamlet, with a dozen or so domed homes scattered around a courtyard. You notice almost immediately that the town was quiet, and eerily so for that. It was early afternoon and yet the town was as quiet as the grave.

It honestly starts to bug you as you are overwhelmed by the surrounding silence as you look to Bulma. “What’s the dragon radar say? I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

She looks at you for a moment before setting the radar off, it’s beeping far faster than it had been the last time she had used it. “The ball is here alright, but you’re right. This place is way too quiet, come on guys let’s check it out.” She insists, walking towards one of the small hovels and knocking on the door.

When there is no response Goku responds with the usual finesse and diplomacy you had come to expect from him and punches a hole straight through the door before unlocking it from the inside. Pushing open the door you find nothing however as you and Goku step inside the rush of footsteps and a yell of “Die you demon!” an elderly man cries, hand axe gripped firmly in his hands.

You’re caught off guard as the man rushes towards you and Goku with his axe held high, the blade coming down towards you as you’re the taller of the two. You can see that he’s so close to you at this point that bringing your arms up would only end with your hands being severed from your wrists. You yell out in a panic however Goku seems to be as sharp as the axe itself as he jumps up and kicks the axe at the handle. The blade is sent flying upwards in buries itself in the ceiling as the man is sent sprawling onto his back.

“I-I’m sorry Lord Oolong! I know it was foolish of me to attack you! I’m sorry!” The man pleads, getting on his hands and knees.

...What?

“Who? I’m sorry but I’m not Oolong! I’m Goku!” The Monkey-Boy eclaims, scratching the back of his head.

“You’ll have to excuse my friend here, he’s rather sheltered. My name is Caff.” You announce, bowing to the group.

“Be careful grandpa, they might be agents of Oolong!” A small girl announces, pointing a finger at Goku and yourself. It is at this time that Bulma arrives and looking at the axe in the ceiling, the man on the ground bowing frantically and the little girl pointing at you and quickly punches you on the top of the head.

“You idiots! What did you do to this poor old man!?” She cries, delivering a second punch to Goku’s head as the two of you sit there cradling your aching noggins.

“We didn’t do anything! They tried to hit us with an axe and kept calling us an ‘Oolong’...Hey Bulma, what’s an Oolong?” Goku asks.

This was, actually a good question.

“Goku’s got a point Bulma, do you know any criminal or person who would be capable of doing this named Oolong?” You ask.

Before the girl can answer the old man raises his head and gives the slightest hint of relief.

“So...you really aren’t with Oolong?” He asks, getting to his feet.

You all nod.

Just as quickly as he got to his feet he gets on his knees again and his prostrating to you again.

“Please, please help our people! I beg you.” He pleads.

What a strange town.

A quick update for those not in the Discord server. Weaver is most likely done posting for the night unless he wakes up in the next couple hours (which is entirely possible for him).
>>
>>2124621

You look down at Goku and it seems that the two of you are deadset to help these people, for better or worse. Bulma however, seems far less excited at the prospect.

“Are you two crazy?! We’re just looking for the Dragon Balls not take down demons and who knows what else!” She cries

“But Bulma these people said they need our help! And besides the Dragon Balls is really close right? Maybe this Oolong thing has the ball we’re looking for.” Goku says, looking up at the girl with his pleading, beady eyes.

For a moment Bulma looks partway between aghast and contemplative before she appears to do what you could only describe as have a temper tantrum.

“Oh fine, fine! Just don’t expect me to help you out if you get backed into a corner you dummy.” She huffs, crossing her arms before she makes her way past the two of you and into the building proper.

You quickly follow her lead and take a seat with the small group of villagers that had been coming out of hiding for the last few seconds. Looking over the group you can’t help but wonder just what kind of thing had managed to have all these men and women frightened. Considering you had just offered to help them you decide that perhaps it would be wise to learn about your soon-to-be foe.

“So, just who is this ‘Lord Oolong’ anyway?” You ask, looking over to the elder that had recently attempted to attack you.

“He’s no Lord by law that’s for sure. He’s a demon, a monster! He came rolling into town one day and demanded our daughters as wives. When we refused him he transformed into a great demon and threatened to eat every last one of us if we didn’t do as he said. There were a few that resisted this, but when he returned again he had a group of thugs with him this time and those people who resisted were quelled.” The man explains, and you weigh the facts carefully.

Shapeshifting sounded crazy at first, but given you could also use a technique that was developed with the sole purpose of killing demons gives you pause. There was nothing saying it was impossible, but before you could start formulating a strategy the roof of the abode began to tremble.

“Oh no, Oolong and his goons are coming for my precious Pocawatha! There’s no way you boys can beat them all now!” The old man cries.

You’re already on your feet and heading for the door when Bulma speaks up “Wait, I have an idea but we’ve gotta be fast about it!”

>Do you hear her out?
>A. Any advantage is a good one, and if she’s right all the better.

“What do you have in mind, Bulma?” You ask, looking to her.

“Goku is just about Pocawatha’s height, isn’t he?” She asks with a sly smile. “I don’t suppose you have some spare pajamas or something to throw on him, do you?” She asks the elder.

You see where she’s going and you can’t help but crack a smile.

“What about me?” You ask, looking from Bulma to the door and the rumbling outside.

She gives you a grin “Go see if there’s a window in the bathroom and sneak out.”

You take of in a jog, looking to see just where the bathroom is. Finding a small bathroom in the back you find a smallish window above the toilet you slide it open and with some liberal struggling you manage to push yourself through.

Squatting down with a grunt you do your best to stay low and peer out around the house and sure enough there’s a group of perhaps ten or so large bear and boar people, and yet behind them was perhaps the most terrifying shape of them all. Towering over the group was a massive armorclad beast with a dozen spikes along the shoulders and chest though what crowns the helm of the beast is what makes you shiver.

Gleaming in the afternoon sun was the six-star dragon ball, capped atop a gold and ruby encrusted crown.

With the entourage halted in the center of town a deep, rumbling voice fills the expanse. “I know you’re in there, my sweet fiance! Come out and I promise I won’t level your village before I leave, bahahahaha!” The massive frame of Oolong rumbles, and all around him the deep rumbling of the rest of Oolongs posse.

You faintly hear the sound of the front door opening and closing and you can only guess that Goku has made his way out of the house in his disguise. This is confirmed when you hear the demon king start ogling and encouraging ‘Pocawatha’ to come closer and not be afraid.

Peeking your head out from behind the round of the home you see that ‘Pocawatha’ is making ‘her’ way towards the group with her face to you, and sure enough it’s Goku alright.

“Hey boss, you smell that?” One of the boarmen asks, taking a deep inhale. “You’re sure this is the one, you said she smelled like linen but all I smell is wet monkey.” he says, pinching his flat nose.

That is not good.

Continuing to creep as slow and low as you can things are going well however one of the closer bear people starts to sniff and after a few moments he takes a quick glance and there is no way he doesn’t see you.

“Oi Boss, seems we got a little pest that didn’t get the memo!” It calls

That is also not good.

“So? You know what to do, do what I pay you for!” Oolong rumbles, waving a massive hand towards you as a trio from the gang begins to lumber towards you, massive axes and cudgels over their shoulders and large grins on their faces.

Crouched low to the ground, your elbows bend and hands pointing down towards the ground you prepare for the trio as they pick up speed seeing you sink down in preparedness. As the first opponent, a bearman wielding a rather large axe comes to you he grabs his axe in both hands and tries to bring it crashing down upon your head. However he is too slow with his massive weapon as you step into his guard and bring one hand up with a rapid palm strike as the axehead falls behind you with a dull ‘thud’. As the bear recoils in surprise you bring your free hand forward with a sharp jab, retracting it as the plump skin ripples from the impact.

You watch the shadow of the beast's massive arms coming inwards however you prepare for this, quickly jabbing at the joint of his left arm with your own. Bringing your elbow back you catch the second joint before kicking twice at the right leg, once at the kneecap and the second on the inner thigh. The bear groans and begins to stagger back but you do not relent, bringing a series of rapid punches and palm strikes towards the bear's chest and upper legs. Before you can knock the beast off it’s feet however another pair of shadows loom and you realize that in your combat high you had forgotten your other two opponents.

Is it frowned upon if we cook bear meat later? I am not quite sure how the view that stuff since they are still technically animals.

Ah fuck I didn't know Weaver had a DB quest too.
Following this shit for sure
>>
>>2127918
For some reason he decided to be really coy about it and not use his actual name for about 3-5 posts.
>>
>>2127919
speaking of names, forgot I had mine on.
That said, I think it's perfectly fine to be coy about DB quests right now, especially considering the rep they have around here combined with the recent resurgence.
Let's hope this doesn't turn out like a slog similar to the current "standard" DB quest.
>>
>>2127923
I hope anons decide to pick a proper waifu in this one.
>>
>>2127957
>waifus
how abooouuuut... an OC?
>>
>>2127962
Fine.
As long as she's not a loli or related to us.
>>
>>2127957
Launch or some other character of the day. Maybe.
>>
>>2127995
I'd be in favour of Launch
>>
>>2127923
Why do we never pick android18?
>>
>>2128210
That's Krillin's girl
>>
As with Icarus, all waifus are on the table. After all this is a whole new universe of possibilities!
>>
>>2128224
Even Ran Fan?!
>>
>>2128228
I mean, if that’s what you want? Though I think she’s already married in db?

As far as I remember she was just using her wiles to win fights. She was married in Som's super human quest
>>
>>2128238
Som had her married in super human dbz quest because she's married canonically, sorry anon.
>>2127957
Are you saying you have a problem with bulma or videl? because depending on your answer there may be potential fisticuffs involved. Though I am partial to Launch in this one, it's basically two waifus in one
>>
>>2128228
>>2128238
The only thing she has going for her is her fetish for public striping
>>
>>2128210
To be honest krillin kinda needs all the help he can get with women.
>>
Launch is cute and I find it funny that you need to romance her twice.
>>
Should I just make a list of Waifu-able Waifus?
>>
>>2128329
Nah. Let the chips fall where they may
>>
>>2128329
No point, we're all on board with the Launch. All systems are go.
>>
And isn't Caff a little young to be caring about this sort of thing?
>>
>>2128367
I mean, he's 14. There's nothing wrong with thinking that 'I think this girl is cute' or 'I like this girl' but it would be mostly nebulous shit.
>>
>>2127843
Also, Damn fuckin well done Brit!

I'll be writing post while i continue to sink into horrifying anxiety
>>
>>2128380
Yeah. We should wait a few years in game to care about romance

The two newcomers having seen that you were no slouch come at you far faster than the first bearman. The first to reach you is the Boarman, his club already swinging with an impressive amount of force. However you are ready for him and with the slightest bounce of your foot you jump over the low and fast swing, using the unstoppable momentum of your opponent’s weapon against him. As the boarman does what it can to stop the spin you rush in, landing a trio of blows before having to jump back when the Bearman cuts in...quite literally, as his massive nodachi slams into the ground ahead of you.

You begin to backpedal, as while you could snap a wooden haft for a battle axe you could not break through razorsharp steel.

Continuing to dodge and weave your way around the massive blade you were quick to note that just like the first Bearmen these too seemed to rely purely on their size and intimidation factor to really be a threat. So long as could outmaneuver them you would win every fight. This was especially prudent when you were able to get a rather good jab in at the beasts wrist and he quickly dropped the blade, wincing in pain. You proceeded to follow this up with a pair of strikes to the outer arm before leaping up and snapping a kick into his meaty jaw.

As the tower of a beast falls onto his back the staff wielding one get to it’s knee and yell out.

“Boy’s we need back up quick!” and looking past him you see that now another bunch was moving towards you at a full charge, a multitude of weapons prepared as Oolong continues to march towards’ Pocawatha’.

Se there are 7 rolls...that 70 splits between each of them so...that's a +10 across the board.
